Iran offers Russia joint naval exercise ~ By Aaron Klein

Last week, Iranian state-run media quoted senior naval commander Adm. Afshin Rezayee Haddad saying his country sent a destroyer and helicopter-carrying supply ship to the Atlantic. He said the ships will sail close to the U.S. maritime borders.

While Russia may not have responded to the Iranian offer of a joint naval exercise, Tehran’s ambassador to Moscow, Mehdi Sanayee, told reporters yesterday the two countries are looking for ways to expand ties.

“Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin have agreed on the expansion of ties between Tehran and Moscow,” Sanayee said.
On its own, this story is fairly benign. But in the mix of things, Iran and Russia in an alliance point to something far more significant. In 2009, Hal Lindsey wrote the following:
Hal Lindsey
Taking a step back and looking at the Big Picture, it is hard not to miss the fact that events are developing in concert with the ancient prophecies of Scripture.

The Prophet Isaiah foretold the “burden of Damascus” (Isaiah 17:1) in which the prophet predicts the overnight destruction of that great city in the last days: “At evening time, behold there is terror! Before morning they are no more. Such will be the portion of those who plunder us, and the lot of those who pillage us.” (Isaiah 17:14)

The Prophet Ezekiel predicts an alliance between Russia and an Islamic confederacy headed by Iran, or Persia. [Emphasis my own]
What Hal Lindsey wrote 5 years ago now has a lot more significance, especially with the horribly violent civil war going on in Syria. This is just another small piece of a much bigger picture. I'm just sayin'...

Iran offers Russia joint naval exercise
Tehran moving to check U.S. warships in region

TEL AVIV – After reportedly dispatching warships to the Atlantic Ocean, Iran has now offered Russia a proposal to carry out joint naval exercises in May, according to informed Middle Eastern security officials.

The officials told WND that Moscow is considering the proposal but that there was no immediate decision from Russia.

The officials said the proposal was likely a response to Iranian reports of U.S. vessels in the Persian Gulf.

There have been reports that the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman has deliberately spent time outside the Gulf as a gesture to Iran while the West attempts to implement its interim nuclear agreement with Tehran.

Is oil catastrophe fulfillment of Genesis prophecy?

Just a weird coincidence? Or is it God's hand? Just sayin'...
Gallups is not alone with the sentiment America could be under a curse from God.

"I believe this is evidence that when you turn your back on Israel, especially when you've been a supporter, you're gonna see judgments come from God," said Hal Lindsey, author of "The Late Great Planet Earth."

"It's finally reaching the point where God is removing His protection from us," he said. "I believe we back away from being a friend to Israel at our peril. We need to come back to be a supporter of one who is so important in God's plan."

Regarding the oil spill specifically, Lindsey said, "I think that this disaster is just one of many disasters. Our country is falling apart economically. The current government is overturning our constitutional republic, turning it into a socialist country. That's about as big a curse as you can get. We just have one catastrophe after another and then we have this big wake-up call in the Gulf."
Video suggests biblical tie with U.S. treatment of Israel, rig explosion

Is there a spiritual, biblical connection to the BP oil catastrophe?

A new video on YouTube is suggesting a possible link to the disaster due to America's recent treatment of Israel, and at least one well-known Bible analyst, Hal Lindsey, thinks there's a valid correlation.

The video was produced and posted today by Carl Gallups of the Hickory Hammock Baptist Church in Milton, Fla., and is embedded here:
EXCLUSIVE! OIL SPILL IN GULF - Hand of God? Connection to Israel?

Video provided by ppsimmons
"April the 19th, Israel celebrates its independence in 2010," Gallups says in narration on the video. "On April the 19th, Fox News reports that the U.S. will no longer automatically support Israel in the United Nations. The next day, on April the 20th, the Deepwater Horizon oil rig explodes. Coincidence? Or the hand and judgment of God?"

The minister cites an ancient promise God made to Abraham, the patriarch of the 12 tribes of Israel, one tribe of which is Judah, from which the Jews derive their name.

In the Book of Genesis, God told him, "I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse ... ." (Genesis 12:2-3, New International Version)

Its first sentence reads: "The Obama administration is reportedly signaling another major shift in policy towards one of its staunchest allies, Israel, and this shift could change the way it votes at the Security Council. The change would mean an end to the U.S.' use of its veto power in the United Nations Security Council when certain anti-Israel resolutions are introduced for a vote.‪"

Gallups says while he was preparing his radio show, he wondered what else happened in the time frame of the rig explosion, to see if there was any connection to anything biblical at all.

He found the Fox News article dated April 19, and said what's significant about the date is that it's Israel's Independence Day this year.

Upon realizing the date connection, "I looked at that and chills went up and down my spine," he told WND. "That's when I knew there was a correlation. To me, I just immediately felt a spiritual connection to it. If you have a spiritual perception at all, it really hits you hard."

Hal Lindsey: U.S. Seeks Regime Change

You will appreciate what Hal says in this video about the fact that Benjamin Netanyahu is battle-hardened, and the Obama Administration will not be able to get rid of him in their desire for an Israeli regime change.

If you are paying attention, you've probably heard about the flack regarding the building of more housing units - in a Jewish neighborhood in East Jerusalem, one that wasn't even controversial as far as previously established agreements go. Now, the delivery bunker-buster bombs (so that Israel can take out Iranian nuclear targets) is being delayed.

We can all be pretty sure that Jeremiah Wright is proud of the President.

Thanks to BPTBlog at Twitter for bringing this story and video to our attention!

March 26, 2010 - Hal Lindsey - U.S. Seeks Regime Change

Hal comments on the delay of weapons delivery to Israel - a deal that was made in 2008. Yet another sign that Obama has no plans to continue our long-standing relationship with Israel.

Obama's strategy for perilous times ~ By Hal Lindsey

News for President Obama: You have no idea of the beliefs and nature of the Muslim terrorists that are determined to destroy us. Our ideals and principles are the very thing they hate most about us. They will interpret this latest speech as weakness, and that is the one thing needed to encourage them to move in for the kill. read more | digg story

The death of shame ~ By Hal Lindsey

Nancy Pelosi's press conference was all about pressing the attack against an already-vanquished enemy, (George Bush, not al-Qaida) in opposition to the best interests of both her party and her country – even to the point of accusing the CIA (under both the Bush and Obama administrations) of lying about her so that she "would look bad." read more | digg story

A nuclear Taliban? ~ By Hal Lindsey

America has enemies that want us eliminated. Exactly how God intends to fulfill His outline of future history is known only to Him. What is important to us is that no matter the details, the outcome is the same. And since we are unquestionably in the last days, the question of America's decline from power will be answered very soon. read more | digg story

Tortured logic ~ By Hal Lindsey

The so-called torture memos released by the White House were not the only things tortured by what quickly became a crisis. The release tortured logic to a point beyond its endurance. Under that kind of torture, it quickly broke down. What purpose did releasing the alleged "torture" memos serve? It is painfully obvious how it served our enemies. read more | digg story

White House: No bow to Saudi King... HUH!!!???

By Ben Smith The White House is denying that the president bowed to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia at a G-20 meeting in London, a scene that drew criticism on the right and praise from some Arab outlets. "It wasn't a bow. He grasped his hand with two hands, and he's taller than King Abdullah," said an Obama aide, who spoke on the condition of anonymity. The Washington Times called the alleged bow a "shocking display of fealty to a foreign potentate" and said it violated centuries of American tradition of not deferring to royalty. The Weekly Standard, meanwhile, noted that American protocol apparently rules out bowing, or at least it reportedly did on the occasion of a Clinton "near-bow" to the emperor of Japan. Are we really that dumb? ~ By Hal Lindsey

It was bad enough that Barack Obama bowed down to King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia. But then, when it was seen by the public, the White House then lied about it. So, which was worse? Bowing down to a foreign royal or the denial which was an obvious lie to the American people? Does Obama really think the American people are that dumb? You decide. read more | digg story

A fearful thing, betraying Israel - By Hal Lindsey

By Hal Lindsey One can really tell that the International Herald Tribune is the sister publication of the New York Times. Like the New York Times, the IHT never saw a liberal it didn't love or a conservative it didn't hate – or a fact its editors couldn't spin. The Times generally uses the IHT as its international hit man, reserving its own pages to advance the policies of the Democrat Party. The IHT ran a story entitled "Is Global Rebranding What Israel Needs?" The piece opened by recognizing Israel as the world's pariah state:
Its sports teams have met hostility and violent protests in Sweden, Spain and Turkey. Mauritania has closed the Israeli Embassy. Relations with Turkey, an important Muslim ally, have suffered severely. A group of top international judges and human rights investigators recently called for an investigation into Israel's actions in Gaza. "Israel Apartheid Week" drew participants in 54 cities around the world this month, twice the number of last year, according to its organizers. And even in the American Jewish community, albeit in its liberal wing, there is a chill.
Having established that everybody hates Israel (even liberal Jews), the columnist, Ethan Bronner, went on to build his case that Israel deserves it:
Of course, for Israel's critics, including those who firmly support the existence of a Jewish state, the problem is not one of image but of policy. They say that four decades of occupation, the settling of half a million Israeli Jews on land captured in 1967, the economic strangling of Gaza for the past few years and the society's growing indifference toward a Palestinian state are all reasons Israel has lost favor abroad, and that no amount of image buffing will change that.
Does anybody remember how Israel ended up "occupying" the land it "captured" in 1967? Israel captured it after beating back the combined forces of the Arab world that had launched a war of annihilation against Israel. And this wasn't the first pan-Arab war aimed at annihilating the Jews – it was the third.

Let's put Iran back to 1850s - By Hal Lindsey

There was a report in yesterday's Jerusalem Post that bore the disturbing headline "Israel Seriously Considering Iran Military Op." A report entitled "Preventing a Cascade of Instability," which was put out by the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, argues that military action should be taken to stop Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. read more | digg story

The Pakistani time bomb - By Hal Lindsey

There are major issues in Pakistan, one being that the Taliban now controls Swat, in Northwest Pakistan, a region the size of Delaware, and Al Qaida is allowed to openly operate in. The other issue is that Pakistan may have up to 100 nuclear warheads, and have ballistic and cruise missiles capable of delivery. If Pakistan falls, what could happen?

Armageddon looms large - By Hal Lindsey (on July 7, 2006)

It's worth nothing that a 1998 Iranian missile test had failed, detonating some 40 seconds after launch after reaching an altitude of 180 miles. It is also worth noting that a nuke detonated 180 miles above the United States would generate an EMP pulse that experts say would instantly plunge America's technology back into the 19th century.

EMP attack: Overlooked catastrophe - By Hal Lindsey

Hal's article about the EMP (Electromagnetic Pulse) weapon, which is created by detonating a nuclear device very high in the atmosphere, is somewhat sketchy about what that weapon can do. Basically, when the weapon is detonated, the pulse of the electromagnetic waves are capable of literally frying any type of unshielded electrical circuit, which includes computer chips - which are now found in vehicles, appliances, civilian or military aircraft, military weapons, and satellites. The area of the affects would be very wide spread. The altitude of the device when detonated will determine the extent of the area affected and carnage below. And this is why the last paragraph of his column makes a lot of sense:
I never thought I would say this, but just maybe this is the reason that in chapter 38 of Ezekiel he predicts that the armies that invade Israel in the last days are all riding horses. Could it be that Ezekiel's prophecy is more literal than any of us dared to believe?
The following part of the column also deserves a minor correction, just to help clarify it:
In an article I wrote for WorldNetDaily in July 2007, I noted a 1998 Iranian missile test that "failed, detonating some 40 seconds after launch after reaching an altitude of 180 miles. This is the approximate ideal altitude to detonate a nuclear warhead for an EMP attack on a country."
As I found out, the article was actually written in July of 2006, called "Armageddon looms large". read more | digg story, submitted by rightwingattila. who beat me to it by just a few minutes! :)

Enjoy your $2.60! - By Hal Lindsey

The economic stimulus bill gives a tax cut that amounts, on average, to about $13 more per week in your after-tax paycheck, or about $2.60 per day. Almost a trillion dollars in new spending and tax cuts – for a wage benefit for the average worker of about $2.60 per day. Americans wanted change - and they got change - enough for a cup of coffee at breaks.

Iran's nuclear ambitions are no longer even remotely unclear. The same Spirit that inspired the incredible accuracy of the prophets to this point is not likely to suddenly have a misstep. Hal Lindsey - Prophesied cashless society: It's almost here

"There are good and logical reasons for the elimination of cash. It will essentially wipe out the cash dependent drug trade. It will remove the incentive behind most petty crimes. Paper money is dirty, spreads diseases and it is expensive to print and expensive to handle. Electronic money addresses all of these issues in a single stroke."

Gitmo and the 'Black Death' - by Hal Lindsey

British newspapers reported the deaths of up to 40 terrorists in Algeria. These terrorists all died from Pneumonic Plague, which is significant and terrifying. U.N. outrage – but only when it's safe -- by Hal Lindsey

U.N. General Secy. Ban Ki-moon expressed his outrage regarding Israel firing on a U.N. compound, a U.N. marked vehicle, and a hospital. What was left out by the press was that Israeli forces were fired upon and returned fire. So, where is the outrage when it comes to Hamas terrorists using human shields and rocket attacks on non-milirary targets?
