VIDEO: What? You didn't forget about our Veterans again, I hope!

A week ago, it was like Obama was saying, "Step aside, Veterans, I have a new screw-up to get the news off of the VA Hospital scandal," as he touted the pending return of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl along with Bergdahl's parents in the Rose Garden a week ago. Sure enough, it was a major news story about the Bergdahl prisoner swap, and definitely another major scandal. And meanwhile, the VA Hospital scandal was replaced as the top news story.

Though Judge Jeanine Pirro's Opening Statement segment appeared a week ago, at the time of the breaking news about the prisoner swap, I put the video on hold. By Wednesday, June 4th, about everything that we needed to know about the Bergdahl prisoner swap was thoroughly covered in the media. It was then I realized how the story about the Veteran's hospitals was dropping off the radar, and I finally posted this video segment.

Of course, we aren't supposed to believe that the Bergdahl prisoner swap was just a way for Obama to take the attention off of the VA Hospitals scandal, or Marine reservist Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi being held in Mexico. Oh, no, how stupid would that be? Look, who really knows? It seems like what ever Obama wants to do that follows his agenda, ends up being a scandal. And thanks to his minions in the mainstream media, he gets away with it all. If anyone says anything about what he has done, it is just another "trumped up" phony scandal.

It took me until now to post this video here. Perhaps is because I feel like I'm in a fog. There are so many different things going on at this time, it just makes me want to say "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot." What should I talk about now? Does anyone even remember the missing Malaysian Flight MH370? It is like they know that the more excrement they throw at the wall, the less we can concentrate on while it is still sticking.

There is only one thing we can really do about it. We must take everything that is happening into account. Forget the little pieces of the puzzle. Just put it all together, and try to see the big picture. I'm just sayin'.....

Report: Bowe Bergdahl left note renouncing U.S. citizenship ~ By Joe Newby

But it appears Obama doesn't care if Bergdahl is a deserter or not, and said the government is not currently seeking to punish him, the Associated Press said.

“Our main priority is making sure the transition that he’s undergoing after five years in captivity is successful,” he said during a news conference in Poland.

Questions have also been raised about the legality of the swap, as members of Congress say they were not informed within 30 days as required by law. According to House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers, Congress has heard nothing from the White House since 2011 when the idea of a prisoner swap was first suggested.

Like everyone else, when I first heard that a soldier who was a prisoner of war in Afghanistan was being released, I was exhilarated! That was on Saturday, May 31, 2014. But as time went on over the next few days, that exhilaration quickly turned sour. First, it was the five Taliban prisoners that were being held in Guantanamo - GITMO - that were part of the deal to get Bowe Bergdahl returned to the U.S. That was a problem. Then, there is the fact that Obama broke a law by not informing Congress 30 days prior to the prisoner exchange. That was definitely a problem.

And now it is being alleged that Bergdahl possibly deserted his post. His mother and father appear in the Rose Garden at the White House with Obama, like Bergdahl is a hero, only to have his father - with a beard that rivals that of any of the Taliban terrorists just released - speak in the language of the enemy. But if that wasn't enough, the next day, Susan Rice again gets face-time on a Sunday morning news show, saying that Bergdahl served with honor and distinction, and it is totally contrary to all we have been learning since then.

In the video below, Greta Van Susteren says, "There's got to be something we don't know." I have to say, the way this is going, we're going to find out soon. Just sayin'...

Report: Bowe Bergdahl left note renouncing U.S. citizenship

National security adviser Susan Rice recently claimed that Bowe Bergdahl, the soldier held by the Taliban for five years, served with "honor and distinction." That report, however, seems to have been turned on its head Tuesday, when Fox News' Jennifer Griffin said Bergdahl left a note in 2009 renouncing his U.S. citizenship, Twitchy reported.

"Great reporting from @JenGriffinFNC - new report: Berghdal left behind a note renouncing American citizenship...developing," Fox News anchor Jenna Lee tweeted.

Twitchy acknowledged that more information is needed, but the report is adding fuel to the criticism being leveled at the administration. Last weekend, Bergdahl was exchanged for five Taliban detainees, two of whom are wanted by the United Nations for war crimes.

Moreover, a number of soldiers have said Bergdahl deserted his post and other service members died in efforts to rescue him.

Editorial writers in the Obama press over the weekend waxed eloquent about the triumph of American justice. The long night of torture, rendition and endless incarceration under the evil Bush is at last over and due process is restored even for our attackers, to show the world how fair and civilized America has once again become under President Obama – or, as the Chinese call him, Oba-mao. A while back in law school, I was taught that a criminal trial was a search for truth during which the government had to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant committed the crime(s) the government charged. In December 2008, before a military court at Gitmo, these same defendants admitted committing the crimes charged, and, rather than expressing remorse for the deaths of 3,000 people that resulted, bragged about the attacks of Sept. 11 and proclaimed that they wore the government's charges like a "badge of honor." Congress authorized the military court in 2006 in response to criticism of long incarcerations of Gitmo detainees by Bush. Nonetheless, in January 2009, newly sworn-in President Obama acted swiftly to suspend the military trial at Gitmo before that court could pronounce sentence on the admittedly guilty jihadis. Democrats in Congress had seen to it in 2006 that the law authorizing the military courts protected the defendant's rights to the lawyer of their choice, to call witnesses in their defense, to have the right of appeal – to observe all the due process demanded for these jihadis by the American Left. The jihadis ignored all of it and bragged about their role in attacking America, asserting in writing that their actions were the will of Allah. Why would the president risk humiliation for America if this "show trial" results in acquittal, or even in endless defense motions and appeals which drag out for years and demonstrate not the strength of our justice system but its weakness? Obama and Cheney battle over war on terror policies

No Habeas Rights For Obama Detainees - Bush Right Again

Obama Stays the Course on Bagram The Justice Department today said it would adhere to the Bush administration's position that detainees imprisoned at a U.S. air base in Afghanistan have no right to challenge their confinement in U.S. courts. Last month, U.S. District Judge John Bates gave the new administration an opportunity to refine its position in cases involving four detainees incarcerated at the Bagram prison, located on a converted Soviet base about 30 miles north of Kabul. They are seeking the same rights as prisoners held at the naval base in Guantánamo Bay, Cuba -- more than 200 of whom are challenging their detention in habeas proceedings in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Acting Assistant Attorney General Michael Hertz filed the government's response today. Here it is, in full: "This Court’s Order of January 22, 2009 invited the Government to inform the Court by February 20, 2009, whether it intends to refine its position on whether the Court has jurisdiction over habeas petitions filed by detainees held at the United States military base in Bagram, Afghanistan. Having considered the matter, the Government adheres to its previously articulated position." The approximately 650 prisoners in the hardscrabble Bagram prison are being held there indefinitely and without charge. The prison is closed to journalists and human rights activists, and while it has long been dubbed "the other Guantánamo," Bagram detainees lack the same privileges, such as regular access to lawyers. While the Guantánamo population has dwindled to about 245, Bagram has added more than 100 prisoners since 2005, according to the Defense Department. President Obama has ordered a task force led by the attorney general and the defense secretary to review overall policy on detainees. A report is due in six months. Gitmo and the 'Black Death' - by Hal Lindsey

British newspapers reported the deaths of up to 40 terrorists in Algeria. These terrorists all died from Pneumonic Plague, which is significant and terrifying. Terrorists infected by this Plague would be infectious for a week or more before symptoms begin to show. Closing Gitmo is a mistake and could give those terrorists future opportunities.
