Authorities alarmed by possibility of surgically placed explosives

Editor's Note: The following report is excerpted from Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin, the premium online newsletter published by the founder of WND.
LONDON – Agents for Britain's MI5 intelligence service have discovered that Muslim doctors trained at some of Britain's leading teaching hospitals have returned to their own countries to fit surgical implants filled with explosives, according to a report from Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin.
Women suicide bombers recruited by al-Qaida are known to have had the explosives inserted in their breasts under techniques similar to breast enhancing surgery. The lethal explosives – usually PETN (pentaerythritol Tetrabitrate) – are inserted during the operation inside the plastic shapes. The breast is then sewn up.
Similar surgery has been performed on male suicide bombers. In their cases, the explosives are inserted in the appendix area or in a buttock. Both are parts of the body that diabetics use to inject themselves with their prescribed drugs.
The discovery of these methods was made after the London-educated Nigerian Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab came close to blowing up an airliner on Christmas Day with explosives he had stuffed inside his underpants.

E-mails have included photos of CIA headquarters

Terrorists actively are discussing another attack on the United States that could come within the next three to six months, and they even have included photographs of some government targets in their e-mails, including the Langley, Va., headquarters of the CIA.
The Middle East Media Research Institute confirms that the Al-Falluja jihadist forum has been discussing which American sites would make the best targets, referencing not only the CIA headquarters building but also the White House.
The top blogger has been urging attacks on the U.S. in an attempt to force American troops out of Iraq sooner than planned.
Likewise, the National Terror Alert Center is reporting al-Qaida is planning another attack within that time frame.
"There is no reason that the threats shouldn't be taken seriously," said a terrorism expert, who spoke with WND on condition of anonymity.
Also, Steven Emerson, a counter-terrorism expert and founder of the Investigative Project of Terrorism, said the nation should be taking such "chatter" – comments on blogs and in e-mail – seriously.
"Certainly these threats should be taken seriously. One jihadist blogger will talk about making an attack and other jihadists will read the blog post and be encouraged to plan ... an attack. The blogs will encourage other jihadists," Emerson said.

Al-Qaida wins again ~ By Dr. Samuel L. Blumenfeld
Commentary from WorldNetDaily
By Dr. Samuel L. Blumenfeld Posted: January 15, 2010 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2010 On Christmas Day, 2009, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab gave Osama bin Laden a great holiday gift. And he didn't even have to blow up the plane to do it. All he had to do was be caught with bomb materials in his underwear to force Barack Obama and Janet Napolitano to recommend new draconian and expensive body-search methods in international airports around the world. Already the Dutch authorities have announced that Schipol Airport will begin using full-body scanners on passengers flying to the U.S. The decision was made after discussions with Janet Napolitano. But passengers objecting to a body scan can be patted down. Philip Baum, editor of Aviation Security International, said scanners will still not catch material carried internally, a common smuggling method for drug traffickers. "Once again, we're looking for a quick-fix piece of technology when we ought be using the best piece of technology there is – the human brain," he said. "We ought to be profiling people." Of course, al-Qaida will begin devising explosives that can be inserted in a terrorist's rectum. Will that require perfectly normal passengers to undergo rectum searches in the future? The jihadists are quite clever. They are capable of devising all sorts of ways of killing the infidels. Their triumphant 9/11 attack required recruiting 20 terrorists to take flying lessons, hijack four airliners and crash them into predetermined targets – all undetected by the U.S. government. Meanwhile, the government's ultimate goal is to make body scanning one of the routine ways of screening passengers. And so, anybody embarking on an international flight will be subjected to a body scan before being able to board a plane. READ FULL STORY >

'Notional' security ~ By Thomas Sowell
Commentary from WorldNetDaily
"There is no stronger indication of danger than officials who don't want to hear what anybody else has to say, even when those who offer to help have a system that works better than ours."By Thomas Sowell Posted: January 12, 2010 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2010 The latest "screw-up" that let a man with explosives get on a plan on Christmas Day is only part of a larger laxness and irresponsibility when it comes to national security. This administration pays lip service to national security and gives out with a lot of rhetorical notions that makes it notional security instead of national security. The Muslim major who was arrested for the murders of American soldiers at Fort Hood had left so many clues to his hatred of this country that all you had to do was count the dots, without even connecting them, to see where he was coming from. But for a fellow officer to alert higher authorities to the danger would have meant risking damage to his own career more so than to that of Maj. Nidal Hasan. That is because we have become so obsessed with political correctness that both common sense and self-preservation have to take a back seat. We don't dare "profile" anybody going through security checks because that's not politically correct. Far better to be blown to smithereens than to be politically incorrect. Probably the country with the strongest security checks for airline passengers – and the strongest reason for such checks – is Israel. Israel profiles. I have been to Israel more than once and it is clear that they profile. READ FULL STORY >

CIA bomber wanted body used as 'fertilizer' for jihadists
Proof we are still in a war, from WorldNetDaily
'Oh God, I beseech Thee that I would massacre Your enemies' By Bob Unruh Posted: January 08, 2010 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2010 WorldNetDaily A jihadi website posted a posthumous statement from the attacker who blew up himself and seven CIA employees in Afghanistan in which the man frets about not being a "martyr" and having to face judgment for his sins. "I'm afraid of shameful exposure in the courts of the day of resurrection if I'm not killed by the weapon of my enemy. I'm afraid to be branded as a liar, and that my words will be the evidence for my conviction. Whenever I hear of someone who died I die, and with every illness about which I hear – I become ill," said the statement from Abu Dajana Al-Khorasani. The statement was captured from the jihadi forum site by the Middle East Media Research Institute, which has included it in a report on its subscription Jihad & Terrorism Threat Monitor report. The article, "When Will My Words Drink My Blood? – I Am Now Fit For Publication," apparently was written shortly before the bomber took on his suicide mission. It is attributed to Al-Khorasani, a pen name used by Hammam Khalil al-Balawi to post jihad writings. READ FULL STORY >RELATED VIDEO: December 27, 2009 - The War That Isn't Really Over

A hint from the world's most secure airline ~ By Frankllin Raff
Commentary from WorldNetDaily
Following the excerpt from this column, you will see a youtube video that I had put up the day after the Flight 253 Christmas day terrorist incident, which illustrates what Franklin Raff writes about today.
By Frankllin Raff Posted: January 04, 2010 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2010 We have once again been subjected to a mess of bombast in the downstream media, this time on the topic of the narrowly averted terror attack of underwear bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, evidently not another Swedish Lutheran jihadist. Talking heads deftly posit, keenly elucidate, cleverly analyze and deconstruct the nuances and counter-nuances of airplane security. "When is profiling profiling? Does it work? Should it? Why doesn't it? And what does it really mean?" As we nervously shuffle through the airport lines, waiting for the next attack, we now learn that the touted "full body scanners" are essentially taking nudie pics. Not very artful ones, by the way, and in detail so rich I am surprised the consumer market for portable models hasn't already flourished. Naturally, you are not allowed to review the pictures of your naked body. They are to be seen only by the strange man in the corner. Perhaps you thought it was humiliating enough to take off your shoes and submit to a frisking. To be sure, those "scanning" jobs will become very attractive to persons with certain unsavory proclivities. Maybe that is one of those subjects best left un-discussed, like the enduring problem a certain high-line national department store has in keeping foot-fetishists from taking jobs in the ladies shoe section. Facts are facts, however. And all of them, which is to say the creepy naked pictures, the whole die, die, infidel pigs! thing, and the fact the TSA might at any time once again release its entire security procedures manual to the world over the Internet, makes for very good news for the videoconferencing industry, and very bad news for us. We would like to keep flying, however, and will probably submit to all sorts of humiliations to the point of full body cavity searches, which is the next logical step on our "reactive" approach to security. At the same time, we must heed the words of master negotiator Herb Cohen: A tactic perceived is no tactic. "Blanket" approaches, such as raw profiling, can allow our enemies a clear playbook for defeating security measures. Recall if you will that the "shoe bomber" and "underwear bomber" were Anglo-Saxon-Jamaican and Nigerian, respectively. So until DHS implements a "do fly" list, comprised of docile (if impatient) law-abiding patriots of all faiths, we should look to an existing, tested, supremely effective security model capable of securing our skies and cities, and giving us some degree of personal comfort. We should emulate El Al, the national airline of Israel. READ FULL STORY >December 26, 2009 - I hope we learn from this

Merry Christmas - Terror Alert - 12/25/09 ~ By Nicholas Contompasis
From the blog, The Left - Watch What They Do, Not What They Say!
By Nicholas Contompasis Friday, December 25, 2009 Today, Al Qaeda, from Yemen authorized an attack on America by attempting to blow up a US air carrier. A 23 year old Abdul Mutallab also known as Umar Farouk Abdulmutalib was apprehended by a passenger while he was attempting to ignite a liquid explosive. He is now with U.S. authorities being questioned. The White House finally has admitted that this is a terrorist attack. Of course this can’t be, since we no longer have a war on terror and any actions such as today’s is called something more mundane. This seems to be a retaliatory strike against America, after last week’s attacks on Al Qaeda training camps in Yemen killing dozens of terrorists. I feel that this is just the beginning of many smaller attacks against American interests. It is general knowledge that there are thousands of Muslim terrorists out there that will sacrifice their lives for this distorted religion. This person was on a terror watch list but did get through by boarding at a foreign airport destine for Detroit. READ FULL STORY >

Security incident aboard AirTran Flight 297 suggests terror “Dry Run”
From Northeast Intelligence Network ~ Investigating threats to our homeland
By Douglas J. Hagmann, Director 3 December 2009: On November 17, an incident took place aboard AirTran Flight 297 scheduled to fly from Atlanta Hartsfield Airport to Houston that the media does not want to cover and everyone from the airline to the TSA and other government agencies want to keep very quiet. The reasons, I have been told, is fear of predatory lawsuits, negative publicity from accusations of religious profiling, and the obligatory subjugation to mindless mandatory Muslim sensitivity training that make a mockery of our American system of values. Interestingly, one airline official told me “we don’t want to become another flight 300,” which is a reference to a very similar scenario that took place aboard US Airways Flight 300 exactly three years ago. I was first contacted about this incident two days after it happened by a passenger who was aboard AirTran Flight 297. Based on the allegations made by this passenger, we conducted additional research, interviews and investigation, all of which takes time to insure accuracy, and are now able to release our report of the incident that took place aboard that aircraft. Be prepared to be shocked, angered, and perhaps saddened by our national and corporate acquiescence to mafia-type tactics by Islamists who are engaged in a full frontal assault, and laughing about it. Unsurprisingly, the facts we developed during the course of our investigation are inconsistent with those being reported in the media, despite the media having the responsibility to report the truth. The incident A group of thirteen men dressed in traditional Muslim attire were among 73 passengers who boarded AirTran Flight 297 on Tuesday, 17 November 2009, a routine flight scheduled to depart Atlanta Hartsfield Airport, gate C-16 at 4:43 PM ET to Houston Hobby Airport. Reports developed by this investigator found two witnesses who observed direct interaction among all of these Muslim men at the terminal. As the passengers boarded the aircraft, two of the Muslim men took seats in first class, while the remaining eleven were seated throughout the remaining rows of the aircraft. Most had carrying-on bags that they stowed in the overhead compartments above their seats. As the aircraft began to taxi to the runway, a female flight attendant was beginning to issue the normal passenger advisories over the PA system. Almost on cue at the time passengers were told to turn off all electronic devices, one of the Muslim men seated in the front of the plane began to use his cell phone in a manner that was described by a flight attendant and passenger “as deliberate and obvious.” He was talking loudly in Arabic, nearly at the level of the flight attendant. Some reports suggest that this man actually called another Muslim passenger, although this has not been immediately confirmed. It is possible, however, as another passenger reported that a Muslim man seated toward the rear of the plane answered his cellular phone at the same time the man in the front began using his. MSNBC Exclusive: Fort Hood never happened! ~ By Ann Coulter
Commentary from WorldNetDaily
By Ann Coulter Posted: November 25, 2009 ~ 5:43 pm Eastern © 2009 It's been weeks since eyewitnesses reported that Maj. Nidal Hasan shouted "Allahu akbar" before spraying Fort Hood with gunfire, killing 13 people. Since then we also learned that Hasan gave a medical lecture on beheading infidels and pouring burning oil down their throats (unfortunately not covered under the Senate health-care bill). Some wondered if perhaps a pattern was beginning to emerge but were promptly dismissed as racist cranks. We also found out Hasan had business cards printed up with the jihadist abbreviation "SoA" for "Soldier of Allah." Was that enough to conclude that the shooting was an act of terrorism – or does somebody around here need to take another cultural sensitivity class? And we know that Hasan had contacted several jihadist websites and that he had been exchanging e-mails with a radical Islamic cleric in Yemen. The FBI learned that last December, but the rest of us only found out about it a week ago. Is it still too soon to come to the conclusion that the Fort Hood shooting was an act of terrorism? Alas, it is still too early to tell at MSNBC. For Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow and Chris Matthews – at least two of whom would be severely punished under Shariah law – the shooting of George Tiller was an act of terrorism, no question. The death of a census taker in Kentucky was also an act of terrorism. (We learned this week that it was a suicide/insurance scam.) But as to Maj. Hasan, the jury is still out – and will be out for many, many years. Actually, according to Keith, the Fort Hood massacre may not have happened at all. He has argued persuasively, on several occasions, that it is impossible, literally impossible, to commit mass murder at a military base. [CLICK HERE TO READ MORE]

Trial in New York is triumph for al-Qaida ~ By Roger Hedgecock
From WorldNetDaily
By Roger Hedgecock Posted: November 16, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 Five jihadi warriors, including the mastermind of the attacks of Sept. 11, will return to New York to face the consequence of their crime in a court of law. Editorial writers in the Obama press over the weekend waxed eloquent about the triumph of American justice. The long night of torture, rendition and endless incarceration under the evil Bush is at last over and due process is restored even for our attackers, to show the world how fair and civilized America has once again become under President Obama – or, as the Chinese call him, Oba-mao. A while back in law school, I was taught that a criminal trial was a search for truth during which the government had to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant committed the crime(s) the government charged. In December 2008, before a military court at Gitmo, these same defendants admitted committing the crimes charged, and, rather than expressing remorse for the deaths of 3,000 people that resulted, bragged about the attacks of Sept. 11 and proclaimed that they wore the government's charges like a "badge of honor." Congress authorized the military court in 2006 in response to criticism of long incarcerations of Gitmo detainees by Bush. Nonetheless, in January 2009, newly sworn-in President Obama acted swiftly to suspend the military trial at Gitmo before that court could pronounce sentence on the admittedly guilty jihadis. Democrats in Congress had seen to it in 2006 that the law authorizing the military courts protected the defendant's rights to the lawyer of their choice, to call witnesses in their defense, to have the right of appeal – to observe all the due process demanded for these jihadis by the American Left. The jihadis ignored all of it and bragged about their role in attacking America, asserting in writing that their actions were the will of Allah. Why would the president risk humiliation for America if this "show trial" results in acquittal, or even in endless defense motions and appeals which drag out for years and demonstrate not the strength of our justice system but its weakness? Let's bring the boys home now ~ By Pat Boone
From WorldNetDaily
By Pat Boone Posted: November 14, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 As I try to do every Veterans and Memorial Day, I spent some time Wednesday walking among the grave markers in the vast, beautiful but somber Veteran's Cemetery in Westwood. I read the names and thanked them out loud, as always. My doctor friend Bob Karns and his dear wife, Stevie, joined me, and it was deeply moving. As I looked tearfully over the rolling acres, studded with tens of thousands of stones and crosses and flat markers, I pondered as always the dreams and aspirations and relationships and family traditions that had all been stunted and blotted out. I'm sure that each of these all but forgotten heroes trained and fought willingly and proudly for the country we all love. They stood against enemies we understood, against national militaries we had identified and that had attacked us and our allies. And as I walked slowly among their graves, I asked out loud: "Would you make the same sacrifices in the conflict we're grappling with now? Would you enlist to ship out to Middle Eastern countries that have fought and killed each other for centuries, in an effort to address their problems and ancient animosities, in some vague hope that we might help them form some kind of Judeo-Christian democracy like ours?" It won't surprise you that I was met with silence. But in that silence, I saw some things more clearly than I have for years. This poor deluded fiend, Maj. Nidal Hasan, who killed 13 of his fellow American soldiers and wounded 31 more at Fort Hood, inadvertently rendered his country a vital service. He made it starkly clear, to anyone with a brain, that we're at war, not with a country or a people – but with an ideology. This demonic, lethal and inhuman ideology knows no boundaries, no ethnic or racial definitions. It's not perpetrated by one government, one tribal heritage or even one geographic base. It incubated deep in the Middle East, but has spread to many parts of the world. It has found its home in a huge world religion, Islam, but millions of devout Muslims disavow the violence and depravity associated with this jihadist ideology and even discount the specific calls for death and domination found in the pages of the Quran. (See Surah 9:5, the "verse of the sword," as an example.) But the ideology itself has a virulent life of its own, far, far worse and deadlier than any "swine flu." Once it takes root in a human mentality, it can permeate the soul, change all perspectives of humanity and morality, and become highly contagious. It has been festering and growing in Saudi Arabia, in all neighboring countries, has been taught to children from kindergarten through university and has found especially fertile ground in Islam. Maj. Hasan, born in an Arab-American family, a trained psychiatrist and military man, sought spiritual and religious counseling from a jihadist activist, Anwar al-Awlaki, who is known to have been counselor and confidant to several of the perpetrators of the 9/11 massacre. The virus spread from this adviser into the brain and soul of Hasan – who then took two loaded guns into Fort Hood and began killing everybody he could, screaming "Allah is greatest!" in Arabic. Jihad, USA ~ By Oliver North
By Oliver North Posted: July 31, 2009 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 GEORGETOWN, S.C. – They don't look like al-Qaida terrorists. Their photos in the local newspaper look menacing enough – but more like a crew that might knock over a convenience store or an ATM at a gas station. Their apprehension this week by FBI agents in Raleigh, N.C., has their neighbors here talking about "homegrown jihadis" and has prompted the O-Team Department of Homeland Security to warn about "American extremists" once again. The seven men were arrested Monday, the same day President Barack Obama tendered his much-acclaimed invitation to Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates and Cambridge, Mass., police Sgt. James Crowley to sit down over a beer and talk about the serious problem of racism in America. The president, who claimed that the police behaved "stupidly" in detaining the professor, apparently considers "racism" to be a more serious problem than Americans being recruited to commit acts of terror. Our nation's chief executive, consumed with preparations for his "beer summit," was as mute about the "North Carolina Seven" – all charged with conspiring to provide material support to terrorists overseas – as he was about the fraudulent elections in Iran. Perhaps that's because he doesn't want to alarm the public about a real and present danger – or because he was involved so personally in choosing just the right brews for himself and his guests. For those who care, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs says that POTUS prefers Bud Light; professor Gates is a fan of Jamaican Red Stripe; and Sgt. Crowley tips back with Blue Moon. One can only ponder what this revelation will mean for sales of these suds. What is certain is that Daniel Patrick Boyd – the alleged ringleader of the Raleigh terror cell – and his fellow "jihadis" are unlikely to be tippling anytime soon, even if they want to. In the 14-page federal indictment unsealed Monday, Boyd and his six "colleagues" are charged with plotting to murder, kidnap and maim individuals overseas. Prosecutors maintain that Boyd – who goes by the name "Saifullah," meaning "sword of Allah" – is a "veteran of terrorist training camps in Pakistan and Afghanistan" and that he recruited his sons and other U.S. citizens to travel overseas for waging "violent jihad." An eighth conspirator is being sought in Pakistan and Afghanistan. The seven-count indictment details a conspiracy that commenced in 2006 and continued until just before the arrests. It alleges that the defendants trained for battle in the U.S., planned to die as "martyrs," and raised funds to support their training and recruit others to their cause overseas. It also accuses Boyd of taking one of his sons to Gaza in March 2006 to introduce the young man to individuals who "believed that violent jihad was a religious obligation." A year later, Boyd and several of the other defendants apparently went to Israel in an unsuccessful effort to wage jihad. And they said it wasn't a 'holy war' ~ By Erik Rush
Leftist politicians and their propaganda arm, the MSM, seem to assume they will be able to control radical Islam once it gains a significant foothold here. While America's tradition is being open to all religions, many have been deluded into believing that those assimilated "peaceful" Muslims hold the same values as those who came here in the past.

Are we at war with terror or jihad? - By Joseph Farah
Just like socialism, the conflict with jihadism comes in two forms – one overtly violent and the other a long-term stealth struggle. The only difference between them is a matter of tactics. Will we accept socialism and tyranny if it is imposed on us non-violently? Will we accept the imposition of Shariah law on us if it comes non-violently?
