Labor Day Tea Party Draws 10,000+

A Labor Day Tea Party in New Lenox, Illinois drew more than 10,000 Americans yesterday, stirring anticipation that grass-roots conservative activism is growing across the country. Traffic was backed up for two miles in either direction due to the massive turn out, causing police to shut down sections of Interstate 80 for several hours. “The people of America (the sleeping giant) have finally woke up, and we’re never going to close our eyes again,” wrote one blogger after attending the rally.
