Few of my colleagues in the news media deemed the connection between a leading presidential candidate and a seething-with-rage, violent, hard-core, communist revolutionary of any consequence. Obama won the election. His opponent, John McCain, seemed nervous about even mentioning Bill Ayers and his significant terrorist other, Bernardine Dohrn, an admirer of Charles Manson's grisly fork murders.
