Maybe I'm becoming soft, but I honestly believe that some liberal politicians are merely naïve, uninformed or disconnected from reality. But the PI [presidential impostor] is not one of them. One time, loud and clear: This is a truly bad human being who is in the process of destroying capitalism and the American way of life.

Anybody that truly believes that Barack Hussein Obama cares about America and our Freedom is naive. I know that is harsh, but I can't apologize if I hurt anyone's feelings, because I know I am right.

So, dare I say it? Barack Obama wants a Marxist one world government. The reason he is campaigning so hard, still, is not for the purpose of being re-elected. I do not believe he even intends to run for a second term. No, I believe he has his sites homed in on a higher position of authority: Secretary General of the United Nations.

Robert was correct when he wrote, "some liberal politicians are merely naïve, uninformed or disconnected from reality." I do not believe that a lot of Progressive politicians would believe that our President would purposefully destroy America for his own gain. "Heck no, that could never happen," they would snark with a smirk on their face.

But hey, I'm way off the subject of this column... Or was I? Maybe not. Before you decide if I'm off the subject, watch the following video:

Obama's "campaign that never ends," as Robert puts it, is about making sure that if the country goes to hell in a hand-basket, that he doesn't get the blame for it. That would not look good on his resume. So, he's got his liberal Democrat friends to go along with him to try to blame the economy on George W. Bush. And maybe President Bush did have a little to do with the direction the economy went, but the the economy really didn't start heading in the wrong direction until the Democrats took control of the House and Senate. Being aware that the Democrats in Congress wouldn't extend Bush tax cuts that would expire at the end of this year, the business leaders quit investing in new equipment and expansion, which eventually lead to where we are now. The house of cards that the Democrats had built over the last several decades began to collapse. Just sayin'...

Well, guess what? Straightening out the economy can be done with a minimum investment of time and effort. Simply repeal health care "reform," financial "reform" and virtually everything else that the PI and his comrades have forced into law by subverting the Constitution, cut personal taxes dramatically, eliminate both corporate and capital gains taxes, start dismantling the EPA, shut down the transfer-of-wealth programs euphemistically referred to as General Motors and Chrysler … for starters.

In other words, listen to the tea-partiers message: Government, get off our backs! Don't do anything to "stimulate" the economy and create jobs. Just get out of the way and remove job-killing taxes and regulations. We'll handle the rest, thank you.

On Labor Day, I engaged in the most dangerous of all activities, jumping from channel to channel with the remote. Suddenly, there he was, the presidential impostor, or "PI". Forget the fact that the presidential election was almost two years ago – he was giving yet another campaign speech, this time in Milwaukee!

My self-discipline momentarily abandoning me, I got sucked into watching the PI for five minutes … then 10 … then 15 … until I finally became too nauseous to continue. In 15 minutes of nonstop lies, hollow rhetoric, whining, smart-aleck barbs and chest-puffing, the PI turned on his best street-thug accent and delivered a rousing tirade against villains of the common man: George Bush, "fat cats on Wall Street," the minority Republicans in Congress and a variety of other straw men.

At one point, he shrieked, "We didn't become the most prosperous country in the world by supporting greed and recklessness." No mention of the fact that his "stimulus package" has failed to lower the unemployment rate to 8 percent as promised. No mention of the fact that he has quadrupled the evil George Bush's deficit. No mention of the fact that spouse Angela Davis II spent $500,000 vacationing in Spain for a few days. No mention of anything substantive.

Reacting to criticism that he doesn't show enough emotion, he suddenly morphed himself into a hell and damnation preacher. I hate to admit it, but it was actually humorous watching him do a pretty darn good imitation of Howard Dean delivering his infamous "Yahhhh!" speech.

When the PI did a repeat performance in Cleveland, it became clear that he intends to stick with the game plan he unveiled in Milwaukee: "I'm gonna do this" and "I'm gonna do that" … "Ain't no way this" and "Ain't no way that" – without ever saying anything true or coherent.

The plan seems pretty straightforward: Stay in campaign mode. Don't go near anything that might remind folks of the disastrous results of your policies, and keep believing that enough Americans will remain in an information-deficit coma until after the elections.

The PI even had the audacity to say that he's going to "restore the American dream." Whoa! Hold on there, junior. Now you're crossing into my territory. I'll tell you how to restore the American dream – and it's not by collapsing the economy and establishing a totalitarian regime in Washington.

To restore the American dream, all redistribution-of-wealth functions of government need to be phased out along with most taxes. Every individual should be given the opportunity to succeed or fail according to his own abilities and efforts – without interference from government.

The American dream will be restored when people accept the fact that their desires and "needs" are subordinate to the cause of liberty. If the American dream means anything, it means that liberty must be given a higher priority than all other objectives.

Apparently not, for homeschooling means parental control of education, and that is anathema to socialists. The most important institution in a socialist society is a government-owned and -controlled education system in which children can be indoctrinated to willingly accept state control of their lives. Public-school teachers are not freedom fighters. They are government employees who must obey the mandates of the state. In a socialist system, the state owns the children. Parents are merely breeders, and since homeschoolers tend to like large families, the population-control socialists will no doubt try to abolish homeschooling. In communist Russia, which was known as the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, the state owned the means of production and just about everything else. Farmers could not own their own land. They were forced to work on collective farms, totally subservient to the dictates of the government. In fact, the government was called the Dictatorship of the Proletariat. The official religion was atheism. That perverse regime lasted 75 years and finally collapsed because it was so completely at odds with human nature. Cuba and North Korea are totalitarian states in which there is no individual freedom to speak of. China, which is ruled by the Chinese Communist Party, has adopted a limited capitalist economy in order to help it grow economically. But all newspapers and publishing companies are controlled by the government. Freedom of speech does not exist, and religion is tightly controlled. Homeschooling obviously has no place in that kind of regime. And now in America, we have a socialist president in the White House and a Congress controlled by the Marxist left wing of the Democratic party. These socialists already have a government-controlled education system which is turning out young Americans who don’t know the difference between socialism and capitalism, or a democracy and a constitutional republic. They have been so totally dumbed down that they are willing to accept the chains of socialist control over their lives as inevitable. With unemployment having soared to 10.2 percent, wouldn't it have been reasonable to expect that any Obama speech on the economy would at least acknowledge that his "stimulus" plan didn't come close to achieving the results he promised, starting with his claim that unemployment would peak at 8 percent? Even a fallible leader would be humbled by this failed performance, but enjoying messianic stature, the expectations bar is rightfully much higher for Obama. Yet instead of showing contrition, he took to the microphone in a surreal, boastful mode, as if calculating that assuming an offensive posture would fool people into ignoring reality. He bragged about the "bold steps" he had taken "to break the back of this recession." He said he'd prevented "responsible homeowners from losing their homes ... cut taxes for middle-class families ... and created and saved more than a million jobs." But, "We all know that there are limits to what government can and should do, even during such difficult times." Let's examine his claims. Bold actions to end the recession and "created and saved more than a million jobs"? The more I hear from Obama, the more convinced I am that he didn't understand that last November he was elected president of the United States and not simply re-elected to the Illinois state Senate from the district in Chicago where Louis Farrakhan and Jeremiah Wright held sway. Heck, I know I went into shock on Election Day; perhaps Obama did, too. It would certainly explain why he sounds more and more like a cheap political hack out to curry favor with the unions and the folks who regard cradle-to-grave welfare as their birthright than like the leader of the free world. I used to wonder where race hustlers like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton hired the various chumps and thugs who lined up behind them every time they gave a speech. Now I find myself wondering the same thing about Obama. Is there a warehouse where they're stored like other tacky stage props until needed? What would you call such a business? Rent-a-Goon? Bums-R-Us? Some people are asking why Obama, after claiming during the campaign that people should judge him by his associates, people like Robert Gates, Warren Buffett and Paul Volcker, has turned the White House into an odd-bird sanctuary filled with such bizarre left-winged creatures as Valerie Jarrett, Kevin Jones, John Holdren, Cass Sunstein, Anita Dunn and her hubby, Robert Bauer, and the SEIU's Andy Stern. I think there are a few reasons. One, Obama is a far-left radical, and birds of a feather flock together. And, two, by surrounding himself with czars and advisers who could just as easily have filled those roles with Stalin, Mao, Castro or Hugo Chavez, he makes the run-of-the-mill Democrats – the ones who actually have to go out and get elected, political hacks like Waxman, Dodd, Frank, Murtha and Boxer – appear reasonably normal and nearly sane by comparison. Why, in the course of his countless speeches on health care, has Obama rarely, if ever, praised American health care, which is the envy of the entire world? Perhaps for the same reason he doesn't praise America about much of anything, I suppose. If he's not trashing us, he's not talking about us. So instead of lauding our record in leading the world in treating heart disease and cancer and extolling our medical research industry for producing more than half of the $175 billion of health-care technology products purchased globally, he complains: "We are the only advanced democracy on earth ... that allows such hardships for millions of its people. There are now more than 30 million American citizens who cannot get coverage. ... We spend one and a half times more per person on health care than any other country, but we aren't any healthier for it." As to his claimed number of uninsured, at least we're making progress. He's temporarily removed the illegal aliens to lower the number from 47 million to 30 million. But he's still lying to say 30 million "cannot get coverage." Again, 18 million of these make more than $50,000 a year and can afford health care but choose not to purchase it. And millions more have access to government programs and don't access them, which, incidentally, doesn't bode well for Obama's mandated universal coverage plan. These are Census Bureau figures of which Obama is well aware yet chooses to misrepresent, which is why it's hard to take him seriously when he complains about his opponents' alleged distortions. He has effectively taken over the U.S. auto industry and appointed a shadow government of over three dozen "czars" who answer only to him. At present, he is attempting to transfer one-sixth of the American economy to control of the federal government via "health-care reform," and has an attorney general who is taking steps to dangerously compromise our intelligence agencies at a time of war. Obama has employed dedicated communists, former Black Panthers and other subversives to administer government and craft sinister and insidious forms of legislation that will secure unprecedented and perilously potent authority for his administration. Throughout 2007 and 2008, I and certain of my colleagues charged that, if elected, Obama would attempt to actualize the Marxist vision he had held all of his adult life (but cloaked with help from the establishment press) and substantially weaken the U.S. as a world power. We were ridiculed, maligned and slandered. Now that this is in fact occurring, although the deceived and true believers deny it and continue to support Obama, many ordinary Americans are now feeling the sting of derision from those who seek to relieve us of our constitutionally guaranteed liberties. Convince the American people we're not communists, get into office, and take over … To my knowledge, the above was never actually uttered by anyone now in government. Health Care Town Hall Turns Violent in Tampa

FOXNews.com Friday, August 07, 2009 A town hall meeting to discuss President Obama's health care reform descended into shouting and violence in a Tampa, Fla., suburb Thursday as angry opponents clashed with event organizers. Close to 1,500 people came to Ybor City to attend the town hall-style meeting on health care and insurance reform featuring Democratic State Rep. Bette Reed and U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor before the event exploded into a near riot. According to local media reports, the larger-than-expected crowd gathered outside the Hillsborough County Children's Board building where several hundred people, mostly in opposition to government health care, began to loudly chant and scuffle with organizers posted at doorways after the auditorium filled to capacity. A freelance videographer was roughed up in an altercation, which damaged his camera equipment and glasses, and at least one man was treated for minor injuries after a scuffle left his shirt partially torn from his body. "That's the most violent anyone has been towards me," Mark Bishop told WTSP-TV. "It was surprising to say the least." Video shot outside the auditorium showed several people holding signs and posters while banging on doors and windows, while others argued face-to-face and were seen screaming at one another in the parking lot as police looked on. Inside, democratic lawmakers had a difficult time delivering their opening remarks as they were met with shouts of "You work for us!'' "Tyranny! tyranny! tyranny!'' and "Read the bill!" the Tampa Tribune reported. As tensions rose further, Rep. Castor was escorted out of the town hall by police after Reed encouraged her to leave. I recall an episode of the 1970s documentary "Scared Straight" in which one of the teenage subjects (whom the authorities were attempting to turn from his evil ways via direct exposure to convicts) divulged that it was his intention to enroll in technical school to learn about security systems. That way, he reasoned, he would have carte blanche with respect to any establishment he wished to rob. So I believe was the objective of one young Barack Hussein Obama when he set about the study of constitutional law. This does make sense; in many ways, President Obama's machinations have been akin to those of a stalker or bullying neighbor who has sufficient knowledge of the law to keep his actions just inside the law, while smugly flouting all notions of morality and ethics. Our president's haste in passing the "health care reform" bill (America's Affordable Health Choice Act of 2009) currently being considered by Congress has been unprecedented; the absent perspicacity one might expect given the prospect of a trillion dollar expenditure has been stifled to a degree due to complicity on the part of the establishment press. Obama admonished Congress to get this leviathan legislative beast passed prior to the August recess to avoid facing what they are facing now: The ire of the American people, some of whom are actually beginning to comprehend the profound dangers connected to this bill. Most Americans – even if they did not support Obama for president – are not yet prepared to believe that he is telling lies of the magnitude that he indeed is telling about the health care reform bill; perhaps most do not believe he is capable of doing so, or that so many would stand idly by while such a calamity transpired. But that is just what is happening, and Obama's haste has been to ensure that as much of his agenda is manifested before too many do discover that he is essentially "Castroturfing" America. For Obama's part, much of his duplicity has been overlooked because he is black; the motives and integrity of black Americans – and our illustrious "first black president" in particular – have been considered beyond reproach for reasons I have previously elucidated in this space. Other of Obama's shortcomings and designs are being deftly spun by the establishment press, which is essentially an arm of the administration. The president's dedicated Marxism is overlooked for an additional reason, itself being twofold: Many Americans simply aren't aware of his historical political leanings. Some don't have a working knowledge of what Marxism is, regarding its inherent and profound evil as an ideology. Ergo, they know little and suspect less regarding what this administration really has up its sleeve, that being the installation of a Marxist oligarchy comprised of politicos, activist ideologues and former titans of industry. For those of us who do perceive these deeper machinations, recent developments across the political landscape have been like those in a sinister cult film. Sometime in early 2007, certain pragmatic pundits began speaking on the danger of an Obama administration ushering in full-blown socialism. What has become apparent given the audacity of the "Audacity of Hope" man and the frenetic advancement of his agenda is that we are not actually looking at the advent of full-blown socialism. Thompson's great day, of course, is judgment day, "When the saints and the sinners shall be parted right and left." Judgment day in America is coming. It's inevitable. It is impossible for a nation to borrow its way out of debt. And it is impossible for a free people to be forever enslaved by regulatory chains. Thompson's hymn asks: "Are you ready for the judgment day?" Ready or not, judgment day is coming. Obama and his left-leaning cronies have already borrowed more than all the past presidents, and he is pushing his cronies to run up another trillion dollars of debt to enslave the entire health care system in regulatory chains of government. Obama and his left-leaning cronies are rushing to forge regulatory chains around every citizen who uses energy, using the bizarre excuse that these measures are required to prevent the planet from overheating – when mountains of scientific evidence says otherwise. Obama and his left-leaning cronies are rushing to restrict the use of privately owned land by claiming authority to regulate activities that may affect the waters of the United States – which they define to be all water, anywhere it may fall, flow, or accumulate. For 20 years, Obama championed the black liberation theology of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, but since political pressure forced his resignation from Wright's church, Obama has deliberately distanced himself from Christianity, at Georgetown University, by ending the White House Prayer Breakfast and by avoiding church in general. He even declared the United States to be a non-Christian nation. On the other side of the political aisle, there is growing evidence that the "saints" are getting ready for the judgment day. That day will come Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010, (congressional elections) when the political saints and the sinners shall be parted right and left. It will be a great day if Obama's left-leaning cronies in the House and the Senate are sent packing by free people who are sick and tired of letting government continue to wrap regulatory chains around them. It will be a great day if Obama's left-leaning cronies are unable to force their "crap and charade" energy tax into law. It will be a great day if Obama's left-leaning cronies are unable to confiscate the nation's health care industry in order to ration services only to those they deem worthy. It will be a great day, indeed, if the left-leaning Obama cronies are turned out of office on judgment day. Are you ready for the judgment day? Thousands and thousands of people are getting right with their conscience. The guilt of apathy and fear of left-leaning lunacy has mobilized people from one end of the nation to the other to gather in tea parties to express their dissatisfactions with the bankrupting, enslaving policies of the liberal left. More important, they are organizing in every state, in every county, in every precinct, to get the right people to the polls to ensure that the trumpets will blow and the angels will sing in celebration of a glorious victory for freedom and common sense on judgment day. This person was not in favor of the legislation, enumerating many of the reasons it is a horrible idea; still, he was somewhat unclear as to the motivation of those in government, particularly Obama, who are almost perceptibly aching to get it through. In addition to the reasons not to implement this variety of health care reform, which fall into the realm of common sense, historic and economic concerns, we discussed our disquietude as regards the level of power doing so would give the federal government, the potential consequences of which are not being discussed in the establishment press. "Have you ever considered the possibility that the reason they are seeking that degree of control is that – like others before them – they're simply evil?" I asked. After all, despots and tyrannical governments have never come along and said: "Hi, I'm evil. Would you mind putting the future and fortunes of yourself and your posterity into my hands? Thank you very much." Typically, they devise a manner by which they might acquire the power desired before they manifest their true intentions. More often than not it is in the form of a real smoothie who represents himself as something wholly other than what he is. Apropos Americans who support the currently proposed health care reform and President Obama's other obscenely expensive and risky schemes (remember that oft-uttered charge from the George W. Bush years?), the questions remain, ones that have many American brains in knots right about now: Why would people who owe everything they have to a system that promotes life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness wish to advance a system that promotes stultification (death), slavery and poverty? Why would those who have secured such blessings opt for changes that will drastically curtail the opportunity for subsequent generations to enjoy the same blessings? Considering some who are of this class – primarily politicians – the answer is easy: These are people who are incapable – or perceive themselves as incapable – of prospering within the framework of a competitive system wherein production and contribution are recompensed commensurate with the inherent value (of the contribution) to society. The reason they favor socialism and Marxism over representative republics and capitalism is that they and others like them stand to profit more in the long run within a system in which their particular talents – duplicity, nefariousness and guile – supplant those of our current system. A year later, in 1954, he died. "The People's Pottage" opens thus: "There are those who still think they are holding the pass against a revolution that may be coming up the road. But they are gazing in the wrong direction. The revolution is behind them. It went by in the Night of Depression, singing songs to freedom." Garrett wrote of a revolution within the form. While outwardly America appeared the same, a revolution within had taken place that was now irreversible. One need only glance at where we were before the New Deal, where we are and where we are headed to see how far we are off the course the Founding Fathers set for our republic. Taxes drove the American Revolution, for we were a taxaphobic, liberty-loving people. That government is best that governs least is an Americanism. When "Silent Cal" Coolidge went home in 1929, the U.S. government was spending 3 percent of gross domestic product. And today? Obama's first budget will consume 28 percent of the entire GDP; state and local governments another 15 percent. While there is some overlap, in 2009, government will consume 40 percent of GDP, approaching the peak of World War II. The deficit for 2009 is $1.8 trillion, 13 percent of the whole economy. Obama is pushing a cap-and-trade bill to cut carbon emissions that will impose huge costs on energy production, spike consumer prices and drive production offshore to China, which is opting out of Kyoto II. The Chinese are not fools. Obama plans to repeal the Bush tax cuts and take the income tax rate to near 40 percent. Combined state and local income tax rates can run to 10 percent. For the self-employed, payroll taxes add up to 15.2 percent on the first $106,800 for all wages of all workers. Medicare takes 2.9 percent of all wages above that. Then there are the state sales taxes that can run to 8 percent, property taxes, gas taxes, excise taxes and "sin taxes" on booze, cigarettes and, soon, hot dogs and soft drinks. Comes now national health insurance from Nancy Pelosi's House. A surtax that runs to 5.4 percent of all earnings of the top 1 percent of Americans, who already pay 40 percent of all federal income taxes, has been sent to the Senate. Included also is an 8 percent tax on the entire payroll of small businesses that fail to provide health insurance for employees. Other ideas on the table include taxing the health benefits that businesses provide their employees. The D.C.-based Tax Foundation says New Yorkers could face a combined income tax rate of near 60 percent. In the Declaration of Independence, Thomas Jefferson called George III a tyrant for having "erected a multitude of new offices, and sent hither swarms of officers to harass our people and eat out their substance." What did George III do with his Stamp Act, Townshend Acts or tea tax to compare with what is being done to this generation of Americans by their own government? Did you know it contains a list of grievances the colonists had against the king? Those complaints have an eerie parallel to what Americans face today: a daily erosion of freedom by government on every level. Many colonists came to the new world for religious freedom. Others wanted personal freedoms and less government control of their lives. It worked for a while, until they chafed at mandates from across the ocean; the king lost support. That's what's happening now to our president, for similar reasons. Consider: Despite slipping polls, Barack Obama continues steamrolling efforts to rapidly transform this country. Can you imagine what his January state of the union speech will sound like if he accomplishes everything he intends to do by the end of this year?!? How many times will he use the words "I" and "me"? His campaign promised "change." We got it, with more on the way, ready or not. He also campaigned about "hope" and, yes, people today are filled with hope, but not the kind Obama had in mind. More and more Americans are hoping that things aren't what they seem, because they don't like what they see, and they don't want more. Americans are seeing through the style and rhetoric of the Obama campaign to what those words meant and what they'd do to our system of government and our country. It's clear Obama's goal is to increase the size and power of the federal government beyond what most Americans thought possible. Under Obama, the federal government grows by leaps and bounds. There's more government intrusion into the private sector than at any time in history, with more planned. It's an increase of federal power into virtually all aspects of American life – business, economy, education, culture, banking and real estate – to say nothing of the ravaging of the Constitution and the judiciary. Instead, I'll point to some signs that indicate that Barack and Karl might well be soul mates. At least, they have similar attitudes about capital, labor and profits, er, surplus value. Liberals, even those of the Marxist variety, take umbrage when you point out their ideological kinship with Marxism. I suppose this dates back to the days when being a communist was tantamount to being an enemy of the United States, in that there was a global communist movement intent on – and coming darn close to – world domination. Though global communism has been defeated, there remains a strong contingent among us, whose nerve center is the Democratic Party leadership under President Obama, committed to obliterating America's free market. Without getting into the intricacies of Marxist theory, suffice it to say that at the core of this political and economic philosophy is a belief in the historical class struggle. The capitalist (bourgeois) exploits the industrial worker (proletarian) by underpaying him and adding on unnecessary charges to the prices of goods and services, driving up costs to the consumer, and pocketing the profits. In "Basic Economics," Thomas Sowell puts it this way: "Profits may be the most misconceived subject in economics. Socialists have long regarded profits as simply 'overcharge,' as Fabian socialist George Bernard Shaw called it, or a 'surplus value' as Karl Marx called it." The theory is that under socialism or Marxism, these surplus charges would be eliminated and goods and services would become more affordable. But in reality, socialism doesn't make goods and services more affordable, but less so. As Dr. Sowell explains: "The hope for profits and the threat of losses is what forces a business owner in a capitalist economy to produce at the lowest cost and sell what the customers are most willing to pay for. ... Under socialism (there is) far less incentive to be as efficient ... much less to keep up with changing conditions and respond to them quickly." With less incentive for efficiencies and cost control, the prices of goods might well be higher. Profits are not arbitrary charges added on to the costs of producing goods and services; nor are they attributable to artificially high prices charged by those motivated by greed. Indeed, writes Sowell, most of the great fortunes in American history were amassed when entrepreneurs were able to reduce costs and charge lower prices and to increase their volume sales to mass markets. You get the point. Capitalists don't view profits as evil or the product of greed. Their opponents – call them Marxists, fascists, socialists, radical liberals or whatever – do. Which brings us back to Barack Obama. Both his father, Barack Obama Sr., and his mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, were communists. His church of choice was one of black liberation theology, whose Marxist roots are inarguable. He associated with far leftists on the "organizing" streets of Chicago, including Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn. Mentorship and associations are one thing, but what have Obama's words and actions revealed about his attitudes toward labor, capital, profits and government control of business and industry? Could it be that the sweeping, wholesale policy changes we have seen implemented and begun in the last six months are not just "mistakes" or the results of miscalculations? Could it be that the clear intent is to bring America down – and that those controlling America's political future know exactly what they are doing? Could it be that those holding the levers of power in Washington are not just ill-equipped for their jobs and making bad choices, but that they are determined to destroy America's economy and culture because they don't like it, never liked it and wish to see our nation operate more like the rest of the world? Personally, I'm there. I've been there. There is not a doubt in my mind that people like Barack Obama, Barney Frank, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and the like just plain think differently than, say, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and James Madison – not to mention me. The contrast in worldviews couldn't be any more striking. The Founding Fathers, who gave us the greatest experiment in liberty the world has ever known did so by removing the shackles from the people and placing them on the government. They did so because they believed human beings are accountable ultimately to God, from whom our natural rights and responsibilities descended. They sought to strictly limit the powers of government, which had, just as they had throughout history and just as God told us they would in the book of Samuel, result in the oppression of the people. Meanwhile, what do Obama and company offer? They offer servitude to the state under the guise of "security." The Constitution and the Declaration of Independence are being actively and openly dismantled as the guiding principles of American government. Sovereignty and independence? We're told today by Obama and company that we live in an "interdependent" world and that we need to be accountable to "the community of nations." That's just a euphemism for dependence and life in an unaccountable global tyranny – where what you think is not nearly as important as what their elite friends think. [CONTINUE READING]

Barack H. Obama: Administrator ~ By Henry Lamb

This fact will likely be the least impressive item about him in tomorrow's history books. The first four months of his administration strongly suggest that he will most likely be known as the president who transformed America's system of government. The U.S. Constitution provides for a system of representative government with a degree of checks and balances. This system has been tested, twisted and tormented over the years, but has always survived the abuses inflicted upon it. Obama brings a new threat, in a new era, to a new generation. Obama is creating a system of government that is beginning to look much like an "Administrator" form of government that will ultimately have no checks and balances, and little need for legislators. This form of government was the fantasy of Col. Edward Mandell House, the "alter-ego" of President Woodrow Wilson, a designer of the League of Nations, and author of "Philip Dru: Administrator." House fantasized about a system of government in which a single administrator held all executive power to appoint underlings without interference from elected bodies, and to design and enforce rules of behavior for individuals and organizations – including states and local administrative units. In House's world, his administrator was a part of a global system of administrative governance whose purpose was "… to pursue socialism as dreamed of by Karl Marx." Are we witnessing the return of Karl Marx, or at least his anti-capitalist ideology? Compare today's developments with Marx's classic, "Das Kapital" Obama's actions during these first few months are very much like those of Philip Dru: Administrator. He has found a way to design and enforce rules of behavior on much of the banking system, and on General Motors and Chrysler – private industries not subject to governmental management under previous presidents. Obama has found a way to force state and local governments to yield to his rules in order to get federal dollars, even when states don't want the dollars that come with federal strings attached. Obama is creating a new form of government with a growing network of "czars" that do not have to be approved by the Senate, nor are they subject to the oversight of Congress. So far, 21 Czars have been appointed, with assignments and salaries set by Obama and accountable only to Obama. This network of White House officers bypasses the traditional executive organizational structure that relies on Cabinet secretaries to administer laws and promulgate rules subject to congressional oversight and supervision. I was a songwriter in an earlier incarnation, that being my youth. Though admittedly not one of my better efforts, I'm sure it gets the point across. So, General Motors entered into Chapter 11 bankruptcy this week; the United Autoworkers Union (UAW) now has a 17-plus percent ownership of the company, with the American taxpayer holding a majority stake in the automaker. As represented in the establishment press, this really isn't an altogether disagreeable development: Hey – guess what? You own General Motors! The problem, of course, is that our interest in GM will be administered by the federal government; for the moment, this means the Obama administration. If you don't see the inherent flaws present in this scenario, I apologize – I simply don't have the space to explain it here. At this juncture, the reasonably intelligent but marginally informed American might – just might – be starting to recognize a certain uncanniness in the relationship between the events that have taken place in our economy over the last eight months and the remedies that have been implemented. Such a person might be detecting the hints of a systematic curriculum and a similar model being applied to all of these recent crises. Toward the enlightenment of this reasonably intelligent but marginally informed American, I would proceed as follows: A couple of '60s Marxists draft a plan for crippling the economy and necessitating government intervention, effectively ushering in socialism within a relatively short period of time. Two enterprising opportunists put it into action. They'll get rich in the process, and be princes in the new order. The organization born of this design finds eager accomplices in Congress. Certain popular securities are set up to fail; the cascade effect of these failures eventually brings about the desired result. In the end, all of it is represented to the public as having been a handful of well-intentioned, if imprudent measures that were exploited by ever-greedy capitalists. Couple this with the over-regulation of key industries, and the house really begins to come down. In a serendipitous moment during this perfect storm, a long-time operative poised to perform the coup de grace is elected president of the United States. You and I may know that it was all by design. You and I might be shocked and horrified at the magnitude of the lie so many Americans had to buy into to allow this chain of events to transpire – but there it is. [Continue reading]

Following the growing successes of the anti-socialist, anti-tax tea party demonstrations being held across the nation, Democrats are doing their best to squash the political uprising. With thousands of Americans standing up in protest to out of control government spending, the White House has stuck his head in the sand. When asked about the tea party demonstrations, the White House responded, “the president is unaware of the tea parties and will hold his own event today.” Maybe Obama plans to sick his Civilian National Security Force on the tea party-goers. Illinois liberal and Obama crony, Rep. Jan Schakowsky attacked the tea party demonstrators, calling them “despicable” and “shameful.” She answered, “the tea parties being held today by groups of right-wing activists, and fueled by FOX News Channel, are an effort to mislead the public about the Obama economic plan that cuts taxes for 95 percent of Americans and creates 3.5 million jobs.” Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi accused the grassroots efforts of being an “AstroTurf” disguise, controlled by the rich elite in an effort to maintain tax cuts for the rich. She explained, “they want [a] continuation of the failed economic policies of George Bush, which got us into the situation we’re in now.” She continued, “…this [tea party] initiative is funded by the high end. We call it AstroTurf. It’s not really a grassroots movement [supported] by some of the wealthiest people in America, to keep the focus on tax cuts for the rich, instead of the great middle class.” [Continue reading]
