The Most Powerful 2 Minutes of TV I’ve Seen in Awhile ~ Ep. 1289 ~ The Dan Bongino Show®

From the Dan Bongino Show's description of this episode on youtube.com/Bongino or in his Show Notes:
In this episode, I address the most powerful few minutes of television I’ve seen in a long time, and which every member of the Republican Party should watch. I also address the possibility that we could be looking at another huge 2020 election upset in favor of the Trump campaign.
Super episode, totally loaded for bear.  Yes, there is one way that I can fully describe this episode.  If you understand the meaning of the nice little meme below, you will understand what Dan Bongino is trying to tell you in this episode, for sure!

Yes, we got schooled by Dan today, about complacency.  Because, when this comes to your front door, which it will, you better know what we are up against.  If Joe Biden wins?  Well, you may be thinking, he's just a harmless old guy, what could he do?  No, no, no!  That's not the deal with old Joe, he's not going to be the problem!  If you elect Joe Biden, you'll actually be electing the Demonicrats to run things.  Biden will only be the figurehead.  You know, like Barack Obama.  Not to mention, they will have a perfect running mate for him that can take over at a moment's notice.  Of course, it wouldn't happen, hahaha, but actually, it probably will be Michelle Obama. And if it is her, don't expect Biden to make it to election day.

This episode of Dan's show scared the heck out of me.  No, actually, I've already been pretty nervous about this election.  Number one reason is that we better not be assuming that President Trump will be elected for another term.  I really do see a lot of people on Twitter being pretty confident of a landslide win for the President.

I'm all for being upbeat, but we should really know that the Demonicrats are out for blood, they're ready to brawl, and that can get pretty nasty.  But, second of all, the results of a Demonicrat win could really extinguish our dissent for generations!

In that first segment when Dan plays the clip from Tucker Carlson, the "Most Powerful 2 Minutes on TV" clip, it's a Red Pill moment (see graphic above).  #2 The Red Pill wakes you up.  #3 Then you see what is going on and you're in shock.  #4 It will make you sick.  #5 You're angry, not just at what is going on, but that you wish you could do something about it.  But, you know what?  See #6?  There are many people out here like you, and we will cover your six (#6!).  You aren't alone if you are seeing things that are so disturbing.  What do we do about it?  Well, just keep watching and learning.

And keep in mind, that fighting back is not easy, but not as hard when you have plenty of people on your side!  Just sayin'...

Obama: "I Can Do Whatever I Want" ~ By Erika Andersen

“President Obama has shown no qualms about taking unilateral actions that bypass Congress and ignore important separation of powers principles that are an essential safeguard of our liberty,” said Heritage’s John Malcolm, director of the Edwin Meese III Center for Legal and Judicial Studies.

Here’s a video clip of Obama’s remark at Monticello:

Recent meme based on Obama's words,
"I can do whatever I want"

While some great new "hilarious" memes are being created in regard to Obama's now famous words, "I can do whatever I want," we must try to try to understand how dangerous this President is becoming. The next thing we'll hear is Michelle Obama saying, "Let them eat cake," and we know what happened shortly after another tyrant's spouse (Marie Antoinette) supposedly said that (but may not have). But that being said, the memes regarding this tyrannical sounding statement heard in the video (above) are a good thing, as we know the memes get around quickly - as in virally - and even people who have previously voted for Obama are starting to get uncomfortable.  It just seems a little like the Narcissist-in-chief has started to go rogue, and NOBODY should be comfortable with what the President has been saying.

And most of all, We the People need to start electing representatives and Senators that will actually mention Obama's abuse of power and attempt to eliminate Congress and the courts from the restraints of his executive power.  Until then, we'll just get more of the same.  I sometimes wonder if the current Congress would go so far as to repeal the 22nd Amendment, allowing Obama to become President for life.  I'm just sayin'...

President Obama put it bluntly: “I can do whatever I want.”

Yesterday, while visiting with French President François Hollande at Monticello, Obama made the off-hand comment.

The remark comes in the wake of other recent statements, including the President’s comment that all he needs is “a pen and a phone” to get things done without Congress.

It's time for frankness, not civility ~ By Erik Rush

Before you begin reading Erik's column and my commentary, please understand that I had planned to post this column on Friday morning. However, I had an unexpected delay. There was a slight little problem. It wasn't just because it was Friday the 13th... (was it?) No, it was part of the downtime that Blogger experienced that began with service issues following their maintenance project on Thursday, May 12.

To put it simply, the ability to start or edit blog posts was not available during that time. I was unable to start working on this post for my entire work day on Friday because of the downtime. And then when everything started working again - finally - I had too many other distractions that prevented me from getting this post done.

Well, here it is, at last. Are you ready for this?

The clear and present danger, as it were, is the one represented by those who have been wholly taken in by the con men, rather than the power players themselves: Union members, certain minority groups, as well as a few fringe special interests. Like the Russian, Chinese and Cuban workers, these believe that their kind, wise benefactors will usher in a new "worker's paradise."

Well, I don't think that the majority of Americans will suffer such fools gladly, not in the long term. Nor is there anything in our Constitution that says they have to.

Back in March, Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan warned the president that "America will be bathed in blood" if Obama does not check his course, "because the American people are rising against their own government." And indeed, the civil war with which this administration is flirting would be far uglier than the last, because the battle lines will be drawn demographically, rather than geographically.

Yes, I am very aware that embedding a video like that above is very wrong. However, I only did it for symbolic purposes, to illustrate a point: Whatever conservatives say about President Barack Hussein Obama will be DEMONIZED!

For those of us that are going to follow Erik's advice, we're aware of what we'll be faced with. In the last column that I posted, Robert Ringer talked about the "normalcy bias." In my commentary on that column, I explained that when we tell people that Obama is Marxist, "I can see the facial expressions loudly portraying that they want to smack me in the head to get me back to reality. Eyebrows go up, eyes roll back."

Really? That's all that will happen? It really isn't. I failed to mention that to be up front with people, and let them know about Obama's evil agenda for this country, there could be detrimental affects on your social life, your career, and possibly even for you and your family's safety. It didn't really hit me until after I read this column by Erik the day after Robert's column came out. The pressure to keep you silent won't just come from government goons coming after you. They have other ways to "encourage" you to keep your mouth shut.

And then there is Mike Huckabee, who just announced that he won't be running for President. I think Mike understood that to win the election in 2012 would necessarily involve exposing Obama's evil socialist agenda. It wasn't in his heart. I'm just sayin'...

On May Day, Marxist-socialist pukes the world over held festivities commemorating International Workers' Day, the bastardization of what used to be a generic Spring holiday in many cultures, this being the first day of May. It may surprise the reader to know that the usurped version is celebrated in more than 80 countries at present.

Then again, it may not. …

This May 1, the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) co-sponsored a rally in Los Angeles, one many interpreted as part of the ongoing effort on the part of radicals to normalize communism and Marxist thought in America. Even well-intentioned, politically active liberals and independent voters still giggle at the inference of a communist infiltration in America – let alone one that has installed a Marxist government and affiliated organizations into power.

Yet, there is so much evidence in confirmation of this that I haven't the space to enumerate it here.

Over the last few days, conservative pundits have been up in arms over the sociopathic rapper Common being invited to the White House by first lady Michelle Obama for a so-called celebration of American poetry. While this ought not be surprising (since the Obamas are, ideologically, part of the gang that celebrated the foul-mouthed "poet" and 9/11 truther Amiri Baraka being named Poet Laureate of the state of New Jersey in 2002, forever neutralizing the significance of that honor), it is indicative of the first couple's willingness to sully every feature of the White House, physical and symbolic. It also illustrates the extent to which political correctness and leftist intimidation have come to influence nearly all Americans.

What I mean by this is that public outrage over any number of offenses committed by this administration engender whispers of discontent, when they should elicit roars of derision. One Fox News commentator habitually refers to the president as a "far-left guy," while another asks his guests if they think Barack Obama "might be" a socialist.

With what is at stake in this nation, we simply cannot afford the civility and decorum we would like to practice. This tendency of ours has been capitalized upon by the left, and it is but one more of the virtues they are turning against us. I have no problem whatever in stating that Common is a brainless, ghetto idiot, this being in part a pathetic affectation itself, since he was raised by professional, educated people.

New Year's resolution? Look to God, not gov't ~ By Craig R. Smith

This year, when you make your New Year's resolution, look to yourself and to God for the strength to accomplish the change you desire. Don't look to Michelle and Barack or the House and the Senate. Look to God and the gift He put in each one of us to live in liberty.
Craig points out one of the major problems we have in this country. The liberals/progressives have slowly eroded away our liberty over the last century with well-intentioned, but unneeded government solutions. They refuse to allow Americans to take personal responsibility and look to God and their churches for answers and many of their needs.

This is the time of the year when everyone makes promises that will be broken by the end of January. Stop smoking, eat less, work out and all the other good, yet meaningless, intentions will fall by the wayside.

People want quick and easy solutions for difficult problems.

We even hear these promises from the White House. Our first lady is proffering a solution for childhood obesity. All we need is the government to mandate fresh fruits and vegetables in place of Cheetos and Pepsi, and the pounds will just fall off overnight.

Of course, Michelle will not suggest that parents get involved and tell their children to put down the video game, shut off the TV, go outside and play or put on ice skates and spend the afternoon with friends skating and eating fat-free soft pretzels, like I did as a kid.

No, that would require parents shutting off their iPhone or Blackberry, actually talking to their children, ignoring the "connected world" and connecting with their kids. We have become so distracted with being in touch with all that is going on around us that many parents prefer to keep their kids entertained with electronics rather than encourage healthy behavior.

If Michelle and Barack really want to curtail childhood obesity, how about locking up all the child molesters who stalk our public parks and playgrounds looking for their next victim? Many parents are terrified to allow their children to ride their bikes or play outside for fear they will be abducted and found days later in a dumpster.

It is truly sad that our children cannot go out and play safely in our communities because the liberals want to show how compassionate they are toward the "misunderstood," deviant slime who would hurt a child. The liberal judges slap them on the wrist and send them back out to offend again, all in the name of fairness.

You won't believe what Obama's cooking up now ...

Obviously, Obama didn't think he had enough "czars." Now we have the "Senior Policy Adviser for Healthy Food Initiatives" by the name of Sam Kass, formerly a Windy City gourmet cook.

In part of the article not shown here, there is a list of the czars that Glenn Beck compiled. There is also more to read about some of the czars and nominees, so be sure to read the full column.

By the way, here's a great caption from a RELATED STORY that I found called SHADOW GOVERNMENT: Inside the mad, mad, mad, mad world of Obama's czars:

"You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy," warned Obi-Wan Kenobi, while approaching the fictional Mos Eisley spaceport in "Star Wars."

For many Americans, the closest thing on planet Earth to the famous "Star Wars" bar scene, teeming with all its bizarre and malevolent denizens, is the Obama White House with its ever-growing menagerie of radical, unaccountable and utterly weird "czars" advising the president of the United States.
You can tell a lot about a person by the people that they hang out with. Just sayin'...
"Makes you wonder what Kass … has been putting in the Obamas' food all these years"...
Family chef elevated to post as 'senior policy adviser'

By Bob Unruh

You've seen the reports about Van Jones, President Obama's onetime "green jobs czar," and Cass Sunstein, his equally volatile "regulatory czar," and Fox News show host Glenn Beck has put together a list of dozens of such appointees.

Now here's the newest White House promotion: "Health food czar" Sam Kass.

"In a comical move even for a czar-happy president who has rewarded dozens of cronies with distinguished titles, the White House has named the Obamas' personal Chicago cook as 'Senior Policy Adviser for Healthy Food Initiatives,'" reports the Washington government watchdog Judicial Watch.

"It's no joke, even though it sounds like a bad one. The Chicago chef's rapid ascension ... has been kept under the radar for the last month," Judicial Watch said.

"Sam Kass went from being a 20-something, Windy City gourmet cook – privately paid by the Obamas to feed them – to big-time White House adviser in a matter of months," the report said.

But it makes sense, the report said, since Michelle Obama has claimed that childhood obesity is a threat to "national security."

According to an earlier CNSNews.com report, Michelle Obama confirmed – in talking about her White House campaign against obesity – that the condition "impacts national security" because it is a "disqualifier for military service."

Judicial Watch said the situation is so dire, President Obama has been convinced to spend $400 million a year on "healthy foods" in low-income neighborhoods as well as revise – at a cost of $10 billion – a federal plan to provide food to poor children in school.

Such an assembly of programs "no doubt requires a trusted senior policy adviser – like Kass – who is an expert in healthy cuisine," Judicial Watch said.

Barack Obama's Missing Girlfriends ~ By Jack Cashill

Jack Cashill often writes about his belief that Bill Ayers actually wrote "Dreams From My Father" for Barack Obama. In this piece, he offers up some additional evidence to support his claim. You will want to read the full story (link at the bottom of this page) to find out more about the "missing girlfriends."
I should caution that the analysis I have just offered, according to Remnick, at least, is "mere twinkling in the Web's farthest lunatic orbit." In the complacently flat earth that Remnick inhabits, I am a "little-known conservative writer" with a racist axe to grind, and Christopher Andersen, despite his many bestsellers, does not exist.

On this and even weightier subjects, Remnick would rather you content yourself with his interpretation, which is often no interpretation at all.

By Jack Cashill

April 18, 2010

The blogosphere abhors a vacuum. So when the mainstream media (MSM) leave holes in a given narrative -- in this case, the biography of the president -- bloggers individually, incrementally, and indefatigably strive to fill in the blanks -- sometimes successfully, sometimes less so.

In his comprehensive, 600-plus-page biography of Barack Obama titled The Bridge, New Yorker editor David Remnick lays down the baseline of what the mainstream media know about the president -- or at least what they want us to know.

Where Remnick falls oddly silent -- not even to scold the blogosphere, which he does often -- is on the question of Obama's love life. This would not be particularly noteworthy save that Obama's 1995 memoir Dreams From My Father is in large part a racial coming-of-age story.

In Obama's all-consuming search for identity, and in Remnick's effort to document that search, Obama's romantic life should surely have featured. Whether he dated white women or black women -- and what he might have learned from either -- matters.

In Obama's ten years of bachelorhood before he met Michelle in 1989, Remnick creates a credible picture of him as a popular, good-looking man about town. Obama's Chicago mentor Jerry Kellerman tells Remnick that Obama dated various women and "was more than capable of taking care of himself." Another Chicago friend, John Owens, claims, "Barack tends to make a strong impression on women." And Remnick refers specifically to an "old girlfriend" that Obama rather coolly abandoned upon leaving Chicago for Harvard in 1988.

And yet, unless I missed something, despite scores of interviews with Obama acquaintances, never do we actually hear from a woman who dated Barack Obama. The same vacuum is apparent in the book Barack and Michelle, Portrait of an American Marriage, by Christopher Andersen. Andersen quotes Obama's New York roommate, Sohale Siddiqi, on the subject of Obama's allure: "I couldn't outcompete him in picking up girls, that's for sure" -- but we do not hear from any of the girls he might have picked up or dated.

In Dreams, Obama creates a similarly romantic image of himself. At one point, when his half-sister Auma visits him in Chicago pre-Michelle, he tells her about a ruptured relationship with a white woman back in New York. He adds, with more than a little calculation, "There are several black ladies out there who've broken my heart just as good," but we do not read as much as a single sentence about any of these.

In Dreams, Obama recalls his early days in Indonesia, when he began to notice "that Cosby never got the girl on I Spy." Curiously, in his own book, he does not do much better.

In Dreams, in fact, the only lover Obama talks about is the mystery woman in New York. Although he speaks of her only briefly and in retrospect, he does so vividly and lovingly. "She was white," he tells Auma. "She had dark hair, and specks of green in her eyes. Her voice sounded like a wind chime." This is no casual relationship. "We saw each other for almost a year. On the weekends, mostly. Sometimes in her apartment, sometimes in mine."

One weekend, the woman invites Obama to her family's country home, which had been her grandfather's, and "he had inherited it from his grandfather." The library is filled with old books and photos of the grandfather with presidents, diplomats, industrialists. "It was autumn," Obama recalls, "beautiful, with woods all around us, and we paddled a canoe across this round, icy lake full of small gold leaves that collected along the shore."

It is during this memorable weekend that Obama experiences something of a racial epiphany. "I realized that our two worlds, my friend's and mine, were as distant from each other as Kenya is from Germany. And I knew that if we stayed together I'd eventually live in hers." This realization inspires Obama to break off this relationship despite a gracious reception by the girl's parents.

Remnick concedes that Dreams is not to be taken at face value. He calls it a "mixture of verifiable fact, recollection, recreation, invention, and artful shaping." On any number of points, all fairly trivial, he attempts to sort out the fact from the fancy. On the subject of this critical relationship, the one and only in Dreams before Michelle, he falls conspicuously silent. The reader of The Bridge would not know that Obama had such a relationship.

Christopher Andersen was more curious but made little headway in confirming the story or identifying the woman. "No one," he writes, "including his roommate and closest friend at the time, Siddiqi, knew of this mysterious lover's existence."

Abhorring a vacuum, I have ventured to fill it. Given Remnick's list of the allowable ways to interpret Dreams -- verifiable fact, recollection, recreation, invention, and artful shaping -- I choose "D" for the mystery woman: "invention." In the absence of any contrary information, best evidence argues for an invention largely of Bill Ayers' contrivance.

As debtor, Obama doubles down Jefferson ~ By Jack Cashill

In this column, Jack Cashill tells us about some history that I am sure most of us wouldn't have known about. The two main subjects of the history lesson are Thomas Jefferson and Barack Hussein Obama. You will want to read the full text of this article, I am sure, as it is quite enlightening.
No, economic virtue did not end at the nation's beginning. Upon leaving office in 1953, for instance, Truman drove back to Missouri with Bess in his own car and settled in the humble Independence home he and his wife had once shared with his mother-in-law, there to live out his remaining days.

No horses, no wine cellar, no mansion, no slaves, no personal trainer, no Jimmy Choo shoes, no debt.

By Jack Cashill

© 2010

In his book, "Barack and Michelle: Portrait of an American Marriage," celebrity journalist Christopher Andersen shows how the Obamas' reckless spending pushed them to enlist Bill Ayers to help Barack write his much acclaimed 1995 memoir, "Dreams From My Father."

According to Andersen, Obama was "hopelessly blocked" in his effort to honor the $150,000 contract Simon & Schuster had advanced him three years prior.

Obama was particularly worried because he had spent $75,000 of the advance and had produced nothing. In 1993, the publisher canceled the contract but let Obama keep the money after he pled poverty due to "massive student-loan debt."

At the time, the Obamas, still childless, were making $250,000 a year between them. Michelle had a personal trainer and a closet full of Jimmy Choo shoes, but their creditors would have to wait.

After his agent secured Obama a smaller contract with the Times Books division of Random House, Barack decamped to Bali-Bali – in the hope that he would be able to finish the book without interruption. That did not happen, either.

With a new deadline pressing, Michelle recommended that Barack seek advice from "his friend and Hyde Park neighbor Bill Ayers." The rest is history, at least to those of us who are paying attention.

Personal debt is nothing new. "He that goes a-borrowing goes a-sorrowing," said Benjamin Franklin some 250 years ago. As I show in my new book, "Popes and Bankers," we have been in debt as a nation and a people from the very beginning, Thomas Jefferson being a classic prodigal.

The difference between Obama and Jefferson, though, is that the latter did not project his personal failings onto the nation as a whole.

In George Washington's first term, Jefferson, as secretary of state, went head to head with Alexander Hamilton and his Federalist allies. Jefferson saw debt as the fuel for Federalist ambitions and pulled in the reins, or at least tried to.

In 1798, while serving as vice president under John Adams, he argued that the surest way to reduce the scope of national government would be to pass a constitutional amendment "taking from the Federal Government the power of borrowing."

On the home front, however, Jefferson was something else.

The Green Police take over ~ By Ben Shapiro

Commentary from WorldNetDaily
The left is crying out for a friendly tyranny, whether it springs from the holsters of the Green Police, the Food Police or the Obama administration. Whenever there is backlash against their agenda, their first solution is to dismiss the people. To that end, we the people are characterized as stupid, angry and easily manipulated. No doubt, we the people are stupid or angry or easily manipulated sometimes. But we are still the people. And we the people aren't made to be ruled by the iron fist of the know-it-all know-nothings who now occupy our nation's editorial boards and highest offices.

The most interesting element of the Super Bowl wasn't the Super Bowl. It was an advertisement for the Audi A3 TDI. The commercial depicted uniformed officials arresting Americans for, among other offenses, asking for plastic bags at the grocery, throwing away batteries, failing to compost an orange peel and installing incandescent light bulbs. "Green Police," announces one of the green-clad fascisti. "You picked the wrong day to mess with the ecosystem, plastic boy." Believe it or not, this wasn't a parody of environmentalism gone wacko – it was a celebration of it. The end of the commercial informed viewers that by driving the Audi A3, they could heal their souls: "Green has never felt so right."

Audi confirmed that the ad wasn't designed to undermine environmental radicalism. "The Green Police are a humorous group of individuals that have joined forces in an effort to collectively help guide consumers to make the right decision when it comes to the environment," explains the Audi website. "They're not here to judge, merely to guide these decisions." By "guide," Audi presumably means "punish."

This would be funny if it weren't frightening. San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom twittered, "Ok … That 'green police' Audi commercial hits home." There's a reason it hits home – San Francisco currently requires that citizens compost their food waste. The punishment for violation? Up to a $500 fine for businesses. On a national scale, President Obama pledged in his State of the Union Address to pass "a comprehensive energy and climate bill with incentives that will finally make clean energy the profitable kind of energy in America." The actual results: punitive fines on carbon emissions, higher electric costs and lower standards of living.

Obama's 'most important message'? ~ By Chuck Norris

Commentary from WorldNetDaily
Chuck Norris By Chuck Norris Posted: December 28, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 In my last column, "Away with the manger," I predicted that the religious content of President Obama's Christmas address to the nation was going to be the weakest in presidential history. I also mentioned that, in the first year of his presidency, "Every time President Obama has had an opportunity to stand for Christianity in any way, he has not only denied it but disdained it." Any chance he has to dive deeper into its creed, he rises to the surface and changes the subject. I was correct on both accounts, and he proved it (again) last week. But never did I expect to hear Obama during Christmas week dodge children on the main message of Christmas and then teach them a revised version. First, unlike preceding presidents who took pride in America's Judeo-Christian heritage and confessed the nature of Christ as Savior, our president (with the first lady at his side) brought the briefest and most impotent religious admonition in the history of presidential Christmas addresses on Dec. 24, describing the incomparable Bethlehem miracle as merely containing a benign "message of peace and brotherhood that continues to inspire more than 2,000 years after Jesus' birth." The presidential yuletide moment of the week and season, however, dipped far further under the radar just a few days before on Dec. 22. It was Obama's visit Monday to the Boys and Girls Club in Washington, D.C., during which he had a free exchange (non-teleprompter) discussion with the children about Christmas. All seemed to be going fine until after the president read "The Polar Express" and led a discussion on what the kids wanted from Santa, when a few children brought up the real reason for the season. Ayers at Starbucks ~ By Jack Cashill

From WorldNetDaily
Jack CashillBy Jack Cashill Posted: October 08, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 I write this two weeks after Christopher Andersen, author of the new best-seller "Barack and Michelle: Portrait of An American Marriage," told Sean Hannity that Bill Ayers did indeed lend a major assist to the writing of Barack Obama's acclaimed 1995 memoir, "Dreams From My Father." It is not as if Andersen just mentioned this in passing. He spends six pages on it. It is not as if Andersen has a bone to pick with the president. He seems to love the guy. It is not as if Andersen has a reputation for reckless journalism. Au contraire! He is a pro with a proven track record. As I write, however, I still await the first mention of this – the most consequential literary scandal of our time – in print anywhere within the United States, including, alas, in our own very respectable conservative media. Bizarrely, this is a bigger story in Zaire, whose major media have covered it fairly, than in New York or Washington. Go figure. While I wait, I take consolation in knowing that oxygen pumps freely through the blogosphere and the airwaves of AM radio. Happily, the reporters who labor therein, usually on their own dime, have not yet decayed into the walking media dead Tom Wolfe once famously described as "tiny mummies." Kudos, in particular, to Chicagoan Anne Leary, a Harvard grad and the chief cook and bottle washer at BackyardConservative.com. On Monday of this week, Leary was heading back to the Midwest when she ran into none other than professor Bill Ayers at the Reagan National Airport Starbucks. To prove the encounter, Leary shot a picture of Ayers on her Blackberry and posted his image. "An instant blight," she calls him. "Scruffy, thinning beard, dippy earring, and the wirerims." "What are you doing in D.C., Mr. Ayers?" she asked respectfully. Ayers told her he was giving a lecture in Arlington to a Renaissance group on education. The conference theme, by the way, was "A Time for Reflection, Celebration and Rebirth." Writes Leary, "How touching. At best, useless, at worst, so wrong." U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan was also in attendance. Trying to assess her sympathies, Ayers continued, "You shouldn't believe everything you hear about me. You know nothing about me." "I know plenty," said the admirably brazen Leary. "I'm from Chicago, a conservative blogger, and I'll post this." At this point, the encounter turned totally weird. Out of the blue, Ayers said to Leary, "I wrote 'Dreams From My Father.'" "Oh," Leary replied. "So you admit it." "Michelle [Obama] asked me to," he answered with a straight face. The offensive Obama 'offensive' ~ By Barbara Simpson

From WorldNetDaily
Barbara SimpsonBy Barbara Simpson Posted: October 05, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 The Obama dream team – Chicago version – crashed and burned in Copenhagen last Friday when Chicago was eliminated in the first round of voting for the 2016 Olympic games. It couldn't have happened to a nicer bunch. There they were: Obama, Michelle, Oprah Winfrey, Valerie Jarrett, Rahm Emanuel, David Axelrod, Mayor Richard Daley – all from Chicago, by the way – plus media flacks, staffers, aides, security – and, for all we know, their own chef and food taster. No doubt, Michelle brought a complete wardrobe with assistants to help with makeup and hair. Chicago to the core, Obama was on the Daley bandwagon to lock in the games for that city. There was a lot at stake, not the least, the opportunity for lots of money to be made in the development of the Olympic Village and varied venues. Obama didn't just "go" to Copenhagen as U.S. president to make a pitch for Chicago; he moved in, in force, for an Obama blitz, with all the troops he believes had "the power." Obama arrived on Air Force One along with extra planes for staff and cars and security. But before him, Michelle arrived on her own jumbo jet with Oprah Winfrey in tow – apparently hoping to dazzle those Olympic hicks with some real star power. They preened and schmoozed, aiming to impress with glitter. Reporters referred to Obama as a "rock star," and some allowed that Michelle won the "gold" with her charm offensive. Yeah, that's the word: offensive. They were offensive, and I don't mean their push to get voting support. I mean they offended people in the old "ugly American" way and no doubt, came across as pushy. Pushy? Barack? Michelle? Oh no! I loved the line I heard on Rush Limbaugh's program and saw on Drudge: "The ego has landed!" [CLICK HERE TO READ MORE]

The meaning of 'sacrifice' ~ By Joseph Farah

From WorldNetDaily
Joseph FarahBy Joseph Farah Posted: October 03, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 I don't like Michelle Obama. I don't try to hide that fact. I state it openly and honestly. I don't like her any more than I like her husband. What I don't like about her is best illustrated in her characteristically self-centered, creepy comment Thursday about what a personal "sacrifice" it was for her to rush off to Europe to lobby for the Chicago Olympics. "We dropped everything – dropped everything – to be a part of this team," she said in thanking Oprah Winfrey for joining her in the Olympic pitch. "As much of a sacrifice as people say this is for me or Oprah or the president to come for these few days," the team has been working for years. First of all, let's be honest about what this all-expense-paid (by taxpayers) trip to Europe is all about: It's a political payoff to the Obamas' corrupt political machine in Chicago. But, more to the point, what "sacrifice"? Does Mrs. Obama even understand the meaning of the word? Sacrifice is what American men and women are doing now in Iraq and Afghanistan. Sacrifice is what American men did in Vietnam. Sacrifice is what American men did in World War II, when hundreds of thousands of them went to Europe (and Asia and Africa) and never came back – or came back missing limbs. Somehow, I expect Mrs. Obama and her husband will survive this trip and return home in one piece. If any sacrifice is being made in the context of this wholly unnecessary excursion it is by U.S. taxpayers who will pick up the enormous tab. That the first lady of the United States would need to hear this from me and others who have pointed it out suggests she has no sense of duty, honor and sacrifice. [CLICK HERE TO READ MORE]

BREAKING STORY: Media protect 'literary lion' Obama ~ By Jack Cashill

From WorldNetDaily
Jack Cashill By Jack Cashill Posted: September 26, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 Although the major mainstream media organs have yet to address the claim in Christopher Andersen's new book, "Barack and Michelle: Portrait of an American Marriage," that Bill Ayers helped Obama write "Dreams From My Father," the media trench diggers are busily building a firewall. The alleged media watchdog Media Matters claims that the theory had already been discredited. They cited an Oxford professor who performed a "computerized analysis," which indicated it was "very implausible" that Ayers helped Obama. In reality, some well-meaning Republican politicos hoped to contract with Oxford prof Peter Millican to do a computerized analysis before the 2008 election. When they failed to come up with the requested $10,000, Millican ran to the the London Times. He told its editors "how he was drawn into a plot to link the Democrat to a former radical." The London Times obliged Millican with the cheesy headline, "How they tried to tarnish Barack Obama." Bottom line, there was no "computerized analysis," just the politically inspired pique of a goofy Oxford don. For Media Matters, this was enough to discredit Andersen's detailed inside account of how Ayers came to be involved in Obama's otherwise failed effort to finish a book he had started five years earlier. Politics Daily blows off Andersen's revelation in one sentence: "Andersen suggests, with no proof or attribution, that Obama managed to 'submit a manuscript' for his memoir 'thanks to the help from the veteran writer Ayers.'" True, there is no attribution, but the level of detail suggests an inside source who obviously did not want to be named. Andersen would have had to be a total liar and fraud to contrive the story line he did. Andersen's highly successful career as a celebrity journalist argues strongly against such an interpretation. The Washington Independent's David Weigel, who does not appear to have read Andersen's book, feels free to dismiss Andersen's claim because he credits me as a source. [CLICK HERE TO READ MORE]
