We Need a Plan. Here it is. ~ Ep. 1436 ~ The Dan Bongino Show

From the Dan Bongino Show's description of this episode in his Show Notes (a.k.a. Newsletter!):
In this episode, I discuss the stunning new DOJ complaint alleging that a liberal activist was part of the Capitol attack. I also discuss the information likely to come out in the last minute declassification of the Spygate files.

As always, there are parts of Dan Bongino Show episodes that stuck out to me.  In this episode, it was in his last segment.   Nope, it wasn't even when Dan sung the RockAutoParts.com theme song.  No, it was far more serious than that.  What should terrify all of us right now, especially those of us that like to express our thoughts on social media, or in a blog like this one, is that the way the Demonicrats see it, they see no problem with silencing Conservatives and/or Trump supporters.  It's their thing, man.  We recently witnessed the shutting down of a private business that provided an alternative to Big Tech, such as Parler.com

Technical difficulties?  No doubt!  And it was just so weird that these technical difficulties just happened after Twitter banned President Trump, basically for LIFE.  Not only was there a possibility that President Trump would be speaking to the American people via Parler, but many people that previously made Twitter their home because President Trump was there, were flocking to Parler, too.  Of course, that is lowering Twitter's "daily active users" numbers, thus lowering Twitter's ad revenues, and making Twitter's share holders become a little nervous.

The Demonicrats and their media arm, the liberal Fake News Media (Pravda), are going to have a growing problem in the next few years.  Stories about Biden and Kamala were previously written off as "conspiracy theories" by the media.  What are they going to do when they start coming true, and the American people start remembering that we were warned?  The 2022 midterms would be a gigantic slaughter for the Demonicrats, right?  A truly Red Tidal Wave?  Oh, right, this isn't 2010 any more.  There may not be a "Tea Party Revolution" like there was then.  Why?  Perhaps I am just being paranoid, but is it possible that the Demonicrats will find a way to silence all of us?  How is that surge of freedom loving voters going to get over the "prisoner's dilemma" that Dan discusses in this episode?  Would you be willing to be in the front lines of that information war should we all be purged from social media for saying what we believe, if it doesn't conform with the State?

For those business owners being shut down by the Covid restrictions, they are finally coming together to fight the government restrictions, because they have to be open so that they can feed their family and pay for their housing rent or mortgage.  They are actually doing it, because they aren't comfortable with seeing their family starve and living in their car (if that is even still available).  But for us, it is just battling the information lockdowns, Twitter purges, or the Parler shutdown.  As Dan will  explain in the last segment, it doesn't just end at the social media sites.  Your email?  Your Fakebook messages to friends?

So, okay, I totally get it.  Because of the Covid-19 lockdowns, many people are unemployed or losing their businesses, and they're fighting - literally - for their lives, to keep food on the table, a roof over their heads, and a mode of transportation.  But, keeping our freedom should also be one of our main priorities. So, keep in mind what John Matze of Parler.com said: "We believe privacy is paramount and free speech essential, especially on social media."  Take away those things, and we will lose all economic freedom.  There is only one thing that can replace freedom of any kind, and that is tyranny.  Don't forget that, please.  That's all I can ask you to do.

Because I know that Dan Bongino would prefer that I embed the Rumble.com video here, I am now doing that! It finally came to me how to do it, and I am very pleased, because it doesn't require me to use the JavaScript code to do it! So, when you are watching, you will not be seeing it via youtube.com again. Nope, not here. Ever!  No more screwtube embedded video here! Forevs! So, it's now RUMBLE all the way, Dan.  For Dan's show page on Rumble.com, click here.

No Surrender ~ Ep. 1387 ~ The Dan Bongino Show®

From the Dan Bongino Show's description of this episode in his Show Notes (a.k.a. Newsletter!):
No surrender. We must not concede a darn thing until every legal vote is counted. I give you the necessary battle-plan going forward in this episode.

As I write this, it is a bad day for freedom loving Americans.  Yes, Dan gives us good advice on where we can go from here, but quite understandably, not many people are going to be feeling very optimistic about what we will be facing for the next four years, or in to perpetuity...

How do we get through the idea that apparent President- and Vice President-elect are on stage delivering a bunch of BS to the American people tonight?  Even if there is a way for the legal proceedings to get to where we can at least know for sure who won, based on LEGAL ballots being counted, it doesn't assure us that President Trump will be able to be overcome all of the corruption and fraud, and be victorious.

Dan is telling us something in this episode, and it is serious, and needs to be closely listened to.  Yes, many of us are severely depressed this weekend.  For the American patriots out here that have kept up with the news, and Dan's episodes, we shake our heads, and wonder how this could have happened.  It's kind of happening, and it's depressing, and pretty scary.

You know what, though, the media will be bashing us like they did the Tea Party patriots, only on steroids, should we even attempt to hold on to hope.  It will be more like demonizing us, and anybody that loved and supported the President for the last five or six years.  You can lay down and cry when you go to bed tonight, but please do all of us a favor:  Do not go out and cry and scream in public!  (I'm not saying that peaceful protests are bad, though!)  I don't think it is wise to disrespect the President, no matter what, nor would we want to make any threats.  We need to be civil and respectful, and yet, while trying to forge ahead from this, we have to somehow balance that with being forceful and demanding, just as the Demonicrats have been doing.

We'll soon see if Joe Biden can get through the electoral legal actions, but he probably will, because the Demonicrats, courts, and the media will do all they can to discredit anything that threatens the election.  We'll also know in our hearts that it is most likely that we got robbed.  Well, the President did, actually, and by robbing him, they robbed the Americans of hope of prosperity and freedom, and that could destroy this country forever.  Yes, I'm torn up.  But I will continue to fight, the political street fight, but maybe for our next battles two and four years away, if we are allowed.  You unfortunately know what I'm saying.  But I will continue to keep fighting for freedom, and for now, it will be with the First Amendment behind me.  I pray it never comes to needing the Second Amendment.

I know, Dan Bongino would prefer that I embed the Rumble.com video here. However, I'm a little nervous when it comes to using Rumble's java script embedding code in my blogs, so that is why I'm still using the YouTube embedded video of the episode so you can see it here on this page. That being said, here is the link to the video of this episode so that you can watch it on Rumble.com.

No Place for Dissent in Andrew Cuomo's New York ~ By Michael Filozof

The idea that a sitting governor of the fourth-largest state in the nation can tell people he disagrees with politically that they have "no place" in the state he governs is breathtakingly frightening. I cannot recall any American governor anywhere essentially telling American citizens to shut up or get out of his state. What about the constitutional rights to free speech, free association, and freedom of the press? What ever happened to the Madisonian idea that the rights of political minorities are to be protected from the tyranny of the majority? Whatever happened to all the incessant leftist rhetoric about "diversity" and "multiculturalism"? I guess "diversity" doesn't apply to conservatives, does it?
~~ Michael Filozof
My good friend Phil Elmore shared this blog post from American Thinker on his Facebook timeline. In his description for the timeline update, Phil writes, "Remember when Hillary Clinton famously shrieked that 'We are Americans, and we have a RIGHT to debate and disagree with ANY administration!' Well, Democrats only believe in dissent when they are not in control."

What makes Gov. Cuomo's statements even more shocking is that in recent months, as Thomas Lifson adds, "New York State is currently running a national ad campaign urging companies to move to New York and open new businesses there, in order to receive a ten year tax holiday." Thomas then states the obvious, that: "These television commercials (seen regularly on Fox News Channel among others) need to be amended to indicate that no businesses owned by or employing people who believe in the Second Amendment or in the sanctity of unborn life are welcome in the state."

There are a few things that should be considered when reading this blog post. First, despite the 10 year "Tax Holiday" being advertised, knowing what Cuomo has said, would you want to move your business to New York? Would you trust Gov. Cuomo to not regulate your business into oblivion if he didn't agree with you?  Wouldn't you finally say, "Gov. Cuomo, you've lost me..."?  No state, local, or national government that comes out so blatantly saying that diverse beliefs are not welcome, deserves to prosper.

What I think is really "breathtakingly frightening," is that what Cuomo actually said publicly is probably what most of those on the far left would like to say. But the truth is, they don't have to say anything at all. They hate freedom and free enterprise.  They want Marxism, not capitalism.  Their actions speak louder than words. Just sayin'...

No Place for Dissent in Andrew Cuomo's New York
By Michael Filozof

January 18, 2014

On American Thinker
In a media interview Friday, Gov. Andrew Cuomo tagged his opponents as "extreme conservatives" and said that they "have no place in New York."

Who are these "extreme conservatives?" Opponents of gun control, abortion, and homosexual marriage, that's who:

http://alltherightsnark.org/
"The Republican Party candidates are running against the SAFE Act... Their problem is not me and the Democrats; their problem is themselves. Who are they? Are they these extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay? Is that who they are? Because if that's who they are and they're the extreme conservatives, they have no place in the State of New York, because that's not who New Yorkers are."

Let's deconstruct this for a moment. New York's ultra-draconian "SAFE Act" permanently outlawed all military rifles developed in the past sixty years. It created State Police surveillance of all ammunition sales, and a required that the State Police keep a database of all ammunition purchases. It criminalized the possession of firearm magazines that were legally purchased decades ago without compensating the owners. It was passed at 2 A.M. with no committee hearings and no debate. Legislators were given 15 minutes' notice to vote on a 39 page bill -- not enough time to read it. And Cuomo waived a legal requirement that a three-day waiting period for public input occur before the legislation took effect.

And if you think that violates the Second, Fourth, and Fifth Amendments to the U.S. Constitution... you "have no place in the State of New York."

Cruising toward destruction ~ By Patrice Lewis

Remember these words you will hear people say: "It can't happen here." Patrice Lewis, in this very powerful column, discusses what is happening in America, and how it parallels Austria in the late 1930's. This column will discuss facts that are based on a column, "Don’t Let Freedom Slip Away," by Kitty Werthmann.

First, Patrice writes about what happened in Austria in 1938 and how it got started, summarizing Kitty's column:

A broken economy is what started the Austrians down this path. Hungry, unemployed and scared, they voted 98 percent to annex Austria to Germany and have that guy with the funny mustache solve their problems. After all, he had all the answers.

And at first, it worked. Unemployment virtually disappeared. Everyone was fed. Women received equal rights. Then education became secularized. Compulsory service in the labor corps was implemented. Daycare became available 24/7. Health care became socialized and free. "All day care and education were free," writes Werthmann. "High schools were taken over by the government, and college tuition was subsidized. Everyone was entitled to free handouts, such as food stamps, clothing and housing." Anyone who said something against the government was taken away. Undesirables were euthanized. Guns were registered and later confiscated.

Tra la la, does this sound familiar? Does anyone on the progressive side of the spectrum see the eerie similarities, or do they still claim it can't happen here?
Okay, maybe that just sounds so implausible. Euthanization? That could never happen here in America! (Of course not. In America, they just take people off life support because the insurance company won't pay for it after a short period of time.)

But, never mind, because there are other things that were done in Austria, and are pretty much being done now, here in America, that don't sound quite so implausible. From her column, Kitty describes how the economy was being run after the Nazi's took over:

We had another agency designed to monitor business. My brother-in-law owned a restaurant that had square tables. Government officials told him he had to replace them with round tables because people might bump themselves on the corners. Then they said he had to have additional bathroom facilities. It was just a small dairy business with a snack bar. He couldn’t meet all the demands. Soon, he went out of business. If the government owned the large businesses and not many small ones existed, it could be in control.

We had consumer protection. We were told how to shop and what to buy. Free enterprise was essentially abolished. We had a planning agency specially designed for farmers. The agents would go to the farms, count the live-stock, then tell the farmers what to produce, and how to produce it.
Well, again, let me just repeat what Patrice had written above: "... does this sound familiar? Does anyone on the progressive side of the spectrum see the eerie similarities, or do they still claim it can't happen here?" Just sayin'...
Once upon a time, there was a solution to this inevitable collapse and subsequent totalitarianism. That solution was to toss out the massive bureaucratic nightmare into which our government has mushroomed, and instead embrace the streamlined plan originally outlined when our nation was founded.

Sadly, I fear it is too late. Our debt is too high, our entitlements too entrenched and our apathy is too deep. And the "funny" people with all the bright ideas are already in place. For citizens caught up in this unfolding economic nightmare, I can only suggest you Pray, Prepare and Participate.

The Pray and Prepare parts are obvious, but what do I mean by Participate? I mean vote. Rally. March. E-mail. Don't let our guns, our speech and our other freedoms dissolve any more than they already have. Watch out for funny guys who promise solutions to all our problems as long as we give up something in exchange.

Remember, please remember, that those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. I really don't want to live in 1938 Austria.

The Titanic
My husband and I have always wanted to take a cruise to Alaska. Sounds fun, doesn't it? The luxury, the scenery, the freedom from responsibility. Despite the fact that we couldn't afford it, we decided to borrow money to take a cruise.

Well the cruise was wonderful, though now we have to borrow money to make the loan payments on the cruise, as well as borrow more money to make the interest payments on the loan. But we loved that cruise so much we're booking another one next year. It's OK, we can borrow the money. We plan to take another cruise the year after. And the year after that. And the year after that.

Meanwhile, we'll blame someone – anyone – for the fact that we're so deeply in debt. I think I'll blame, um, my brother. It's not our fault that we can't stop ourselves from digging the debt hole deeper, or that much of the debt is incurred for frivolous reasons. It's my brother's fault.

What's wrong with this picture? If you're the federal government, apparently nothing.

We now know that the actual figure of America's debt is much higher than the petty and trivial sum of $14.3 trillion given by the Congressional Budget Office. And make no mistake, $14.3 trillion is not pocket change (for a knock-you-flat visual of a trillion dollars, click here).

"The Government is lying about the amount of debt. It is engaging in Enron accounting," says Laurence Kotlikoff, an economist at Boston University. That's because the CBO doesn't count the euphemistically called "off-budget" obligations like Social Security and Medicare. (This is like my husband and I deeming our mythical cruise payments to be "off-budget" in our yearly expenses.)

So how much does our nation owe? Mr. Kotlikoff says the debt is actually $200 trillion – 14 times the "official" amount. That's a lot of cruises. And our nation is taking more and more trips.

Does this sound sustainable to you?
Sinking the Good Ship America

Of course not. How can America possibly pay back $200 trillion? It can't. Sooner or later the people who keep lending us money will stop. When that happens, I see no possible alternative except a collapse of our national economy.

The danger of a financial collapse goes beyond the day-to-day struggles of Joe Sixpack. The danger is that Americans will look for solutions in all the wrong places, the same way Germany and Austria looked for solutions to its debt and inflation problems in the 1930s. Their solution took the form of a failed artist with a funny mustache who told people what they wanted to hear and promised to make it all better by blaming someone else. (The Jews were a convenient target since my brother wasn't born yet.)

In 1938, an Austrian woman named Kitty Werthmann was an eyewitness to the creeping totalitarianism of Hitler's Germany. Now living in South Dakota, she wrote an eerie and horrifying account of what happened during her childhood. It's easy to understand the horrifying part. But it's eerie because we are following, virtually word for word, the same path in this country, albeit at a slower pace.

"Totalitarianism didn't come quickly," writes Werthmann. "It took five years from 1938 until 1943 to realize full dictatorship in Austria. Had it happened overnight, my countrymen would have fought to the last breath. Instead, we had creeping gradualism. Now, our only weapons were broom handles. The whole idea sounds almost unbelievable that the state, little by little, eroded our freedom."

My final thoughts on this column with the help of a classic cartoon from 50 years ago: "Watch out for funny guys who promise solutions to all our problems as long as we give up something in exchange."

Oh, before you go, just one more thing. When you hear them say, "It's for the children," be afraid. Be very afraid. This is the elixir of the snake-oil salesman. Don't give up your freedom in exchange for government promises to take care of you from cradle to grave.

Entrepreneurs under attack ~ By John Stossel

Note to readers of this column: This has been going on for a very long time. This isn't anything that just started recently, or with the Obama administration. Local and state governments have been regulating the heck out of businesses for a long, long time. However, when a government regulation has gone too far, thankfully, some cases can be resolved in court, as John Stossel explains in this column.

However, there is more to worry about than just local and state governments and their regulations that is a threat to the small business enterprises. On the federal level, it gets even worse. Everything from what Stossel has called crony capitalism, to unions, horrible legislation and tax laws, a bad economy, the coming ObamaCare, environmental regulators, OSHA, export regulations...  All of these are further attacks on business, especially to the small business entrepreneurs. Again, these are not things that have happened suddenly under Obama, but have been incrementally put in place over many decades. But yes, it could start getting MUCH worse under Obama. See the video below:

Halt the Assault on Small Business

Video provided by TheREALjohnny2k

You would think that with the economy being so bad, that more would be done to stimulate small business, the backbone of the country's economy. However, it seems that all Obama wants to do is grow the size of the federal government and help out the unions; not exactly what will get a lot of people back to work. Just sayin'...

UPDATE September 10, 2010:

John Stossel was on Fox & Friends on Thursday a.m. and I just happened to get it uploaded to youtube:

It's great that IJ [Institute for Justice] and some determined entrepreneurs win a few victories for free enterprise. But in a country with a real free market, such lawsuits would be unnecessary.

Every day, federal, state and local governments stifle small businesses to privilege well-connected incumbent companies. It's a system of protectionism for influential insiders who don't want competition. Every locality has its share of business moguls who are cozy with politicians. Together, they use the power of government to keep competition down and prices high.

The Institute for Justice, a libertarian public-interest law firm, works to free entrepreneurs from such opportunity-killing regulations. Here are four cases from IJ's files:

Case No. 1.

The monks at St. Joseph Abbey had to take the state of Louisiana to federal court to defend their right to make money selling handmade caskets. That's right: empty wooden boxes.

As soon as the monks started selling them, they were shocked to receive a cease-and-desist order from something called the Louisiana State Board of Funeral Directors. The funeral directors had managed to get their state to pass a law decreeing that only "licensed funeral directors" may sell "funeral merchandise" like caskets. To sell caskets legally, the monks would have to obtain a funeral director's license. That required a year-long apprenticeship, passing a funeral industry test and converting their monastery into a "funeral establishment" by installing embalming equipment, among other things.

The state board and the Louisiana Funeral Directors Association – the profession's lobbyist – say the law is designed to protect consumers. But that's what established businesses always say about absurd regulations they demand.

An unusually candid funeral director told The Wall Street Journal, "They're cutting into our profit."

Well, yes, free competition does do that. That's the point.

Another funeral director said that the law must remain unchanged because casket-making is a complicated business: "A quarter of America is oversized. I don't even know if the monks know how to make an oversized casket."

Does that even deserve a comment?

You won't believe what Obama's cooking up now ...

Obviously, Obama didn't think he had enough "czars." Now we have the "Senior Policy Adviser for Healthy Food Initiatives" by the name of Sam Kass, formerly a Windy City gourmet cook.

In part of the article not shown here, there is a list of the czars that Glenn Beck compiled. There is also more to read about some of the czars and nominees, so be sure to read the full column.

By the way, here's a great caption from a RELATED STORY that I found called SHADOW GOVERNMENT: Inside the mad, mad, mad, mad world of Obama's czars:

"You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy," warned Obi-Wan Kenobi, while approaching the fictional Mos Eisley spaceport in "Star Wars."

For many Americans, the closest thing on planet Earth to the famous "Star Wars" bar scene, teeming with all its bizarre and malevolent denizens, is the Obama White House with its ever-growing menagerie of radical, unaccountable and utterly weird "czars" advising the president of the United States.
You can tell a lot about a person by the people that they hang out with. Just sayin'...
"Makes you wonder what Kass … has been putting in the Obamas' food all these years"...
Family chef elevated to post as 'senior policy adviser'

By Bob Unruh

© 2010 WorldNetDaily

You've seen the reports about Van Jones, President Obama's onetime "green jobs czar," and Cass Sunstein, his equally volatile "regulatory czar," and Fox News show host Glenn Beck has put together a list of dozens of such appointees.

Now here's the newest White House promotion: "Health food czar" Sam Kass.

"In a comical move even for a czar-happy president who has rewarded dozens of cronies with distinguished titles, the White House has named the Obamas' personal Chicago cook as 'Senior Policy Adviser for Healthy Food Initiatives,'" reports the Washington government watchdog Judicial Watch.

"It's no joke, even though it sounds like a bad one. The Chicago chef's rapid ascension ... has been kept under the radar for the last month," Judicial Watch said.

"Sam Kass went from being a 20-something, Windy City gourmet cook – privately paid by the Obamas to feed them – to big-time White House adviser in a matter of months," the report said.

But it makes sense, the report said, since Michelle Obama has claimed that childhood obesity is a threat to "national security."

According to an earlier CNSNews.com report, Michelle Obama confirmed – in talking about her White House campaign against obesity – that the condition "impacts national security" because it is a "disqualifier for military service."

Judicial Watch said the situation is so dire, President Obama has been convinced to spend $400 million a year on "healthy foods" in low-income neighborhoods as well as revise – at a cost of $10 billion – a federal plan to provide food to poor children in school.

Such an assembly of programs "no doubt requires a trusted senior policy adviser – like Kass – who is an expert in healthy cuisine," Judicial Watch said.

The Liberal-Fascist Axis, Part 2 ~ By Ellis Washington

The following is a continuance of Ellis Washington's column, "The Liberal-Fascist Axis." Ellis continues he discussion about the relationships between liberalism and fascism.

Okay, so neither Ellis nor I, nor anyone else, like Glenn Beck... or you, have yet to be hauled away to detention camps... "Yet" is the key word. A couple of days ago (June 9), though, Glenn Beck gave us a warning when he asked, "Where does it end?"

In the 1st segment of the show (you will see Part 1 of 3 in the video below), Glenn is explaining how just in the last week, things were getting very different. The President is going to go "kick someone's ass," and the Obama minions are beginning to want Obama to start changing things. Huh? I thought a lot of change has already been going on since this regime took power. So, what's there to worry about? I'd have to be crazy to think that anything more extreme could happen... But, as always, I'm just sayin'...

Epilogue

Slavery, abortion, Social Darwinism, eugenics and fascism make up the five-headed monster of modern times. Each head reveal the Nazi doctrine of Lebensunwertes Leben (life unworthy of life). In the modern era, these ideas and policies are directly responsible for the genocide of hundreds of millions of people.

American fascism is exhibited today in policies like: Obamacare, TARP, Obama's takeover of the banking and auto industries, exploiting the Gulf oil leak to destroy the oil industry through federal takeover while forcing Americans into unsustainable alternative energy uses, thus further decimating our economy.

Absent Christianity and Natural Law, Obama's revolutionary policies will only augment the ever-expanding socialist state under the Liberal-Fascist Axis.

From his show on June 9, 2010:

Video provided by TheREALjohnny2k
Prologue

Slavery, abortion, Social Darwinism (evolution), eugenics, fascism (i.e., Nazism, communism, liberalism), are perhaps the five most diabolical and irredeemable ideas of the past 160 years; yet despite civil wars, world wars, social revolutions, civil-rights acts, Christian revivals and political reforms, this five-headed monster is still alive and thrives under the totalitarian cult of liberalism, now called "progressivism."

1. Slavery

Slavery has existed since the earliest annals of human history and has been practiced at some period by virtually every nation and tribe on earth. In America, it took a bloody Civil War to bring an end to this "peculiar institution" in 1865 and later by law via the 13th, 14th and 15th Amendments.

The Democratic Party proliferated and profited most from slavery, and yet because of liberal hegemony in the academy, courts, Congress, media and Hollywood, the virulently racist background and political madness of liberalism has been largely erased from the history books, and all sins forgiven. Why? Because the Democrats co-opted the black vote in the early1930s, and LBJ and got all the credit for passing the Civil Rights Act (1964, 1968) and the Voting Rights Act (1965).

2. Abortion

Abortion is the act of a woman causing the premature termination of her baby and pregnancy. Despite volumes written on abortion, few writers have made the unmistakable connection between the twin evils of abortion and slavery – such as, for every 1,000 black babies born in America, there are 472 unborn black babies aborted, or for every two black babies born, one black baby is aborted.

The NAACP and the civil-rights movement essentially support the genocide of their own race.

I made the existential connection between slavery and abortion in a Socratic dialogue:
Socrates: Indeed. You must first tell us why this day does America allow an average of 1.5 million abortions annually and 40-53 million abortions worldwide? Why have between 40-50 million abortions occurred in America alone since Roe v. Wade (1973)? This, in a country that in your own Declaration promised each of her citizens "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness?" Why, Mr. ACLU?

Attorney ACLU: {indignant} B-B-B-But, but, but, but abortions are an entirely different issue than slavery.

Socrates: I agree if by "different" you mean in the manner of execution. However, the public policy is the same: One person, the slave master with slavery and one woman/Supreme Court justice with abortion, has the legal authority to kill another human being, correct, Attorney ACLU?
3. Social Darwinism (evolution)

Social Darwinism understands that the laws of Darwinian evolution by natural selection are applicable to social structures and public policy. Despite the instant and worldwide cult following of evolution since the 1860s, Darwin was rightly skeptical and in a famous letter to Asa Gray Darwin shared his doubts about evolution, writing: "… I am quite conscious that my speculations run beyond the bounds of true science. ... It is a mere rag of an hypothesis with as many flaw[s] and holes as sound parts."

In his 1882 book, "Selection in Relation to Sex," Social Darwinism was his major thesis:
Thus the weak members of civilized societies propagate their kind. No one who has attended to the breeding of domestic animals will doubt that this must be highly injurious to the race of man … hardly any one is so ignorant as to allow his worst animals to breed.
Who determines who lives and who dies? Progressives, of course.

4. Eugenics

"Eugenics is the study and practice of selective breeding applied to humans, with the aim of improving the species." Eugenics was founded by Darwin's cousin, Francis Galton. Margaret Sanger zealously propagated eugenics before becoming the founder of Planned Parenthood, one of the largest abortion providers in the world. Sanger's entire idea for eugenics (of which abortion is its logical consequence) was to bring genocide to the black race, which Sanger and many progressive intellectuals believed was by nature unworthy of full participation in civilization.

5. Fascism

Throughout history, liberalism, totalitarianism, terrorism, anarchy and fascism have been bedfellows – during the Age of Enlightenment (Voltaire, Rousseau, Diderot, Jefferson), through its systemic corruption during the French Revolution (the Jacobins, Robespierre) and later during 19th-century German Romanticism (Schopenhauer, Wagner, Kaiser Wilhelm, Darwin, Nietzsche). The 20th century saw liberalism morph into the progressive movement and the modern welfare state (Lippmann, Croly, John Dewey, Woodrow Wilson, FDR, LBJ, Obama) where the apotheosis of the State has essentially replaced God, reason, constitutionalism and Natural Law.

Ashamed to be an American ~ By Patrice Lewis

Patrice writes about the case where five boys wore shirts to school, on Cinco de Mayo (May 5) that had very "provocative" designs, with the American flag being involved. It just happened that two of the kids happened to have been on Fox & Friends Weekend Saturday morning, which I happened to catch and post to youtube (see below under RELATED VIDEO). After reading Patrice's column, be sure to watch the video to put it all in perspective! One of the things talked about in the video that wasn't in her column was that on Thursday, the 6th of May, 200 kids demonstrated, demanding that they received respect on Cinco de Mayo!
But lest we get too angry at the Latino students, we should consider the school administrators. Gosh, it's almost as if they're afraid of their Latino students. (So who's "incendiary"?) They obviously felt it was "safer" to humiliate American students for wearing their own flag with pride. We've come to the point where we placate and appease and mollify anyone who complains, no matter how absurd the complaint. We can no longer tell hyphenated-Americans to suck it up, deal with it, and act like Americans when they're in America.

Once again, emasculated school officials have done the preposterous: They've told kids it's wrong to display pride for being American.

This time it was at Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, Calif., on Cinco de Mayo. As they often did, some students wore clothing to school bearing an American flag motif.

It should be noted the boys were sitting quietly at a table during a brunch break at the time they were approached by the vice principal and told to stop being patriotic. They weren't heckling other students, chanting anti-Latino slogans, waving flags or doing anything else that could be considered provocative. They were just sitting and chatting.

For that crime, they were requested to remove or hide the offensive garments, or risk suspension for being – wait for it – incendiary. The boys refused and so, rather than face suspension, they went home. To their credit, they've said "fat chance" about making an apology.

Now let me get this straight. Five American boys, attending an American school, paid for by American tax dollars, in an American state, wore clothing with American flags to show pride for being American. Um, am I missing something here?

Of course I'm missing something. I'm missing the fact that it was Cinco de Mayo. And I'm missing the fact that there is a large Mexican-American student population at the school.

Oops, wait a minute. Unless these Latino kids are illegal aliens – surely not! – it means they're American citizens or legal residents. That means these students are Mexican-American. They are NOT Mexican.

Like millions of others – like my grandparents – like my three sisters-in-law – these people were born in a different country and immigrated to America in order to, drum roll please, become Americans.

But it seems it's no longer necessary for Mexican-Americans (and some other immigrant groups) to even pretend to express gratitude toward the country that took them in and offered them educational, employment and housing opportunities. Instead they show an intense hostility toward anything American, particularly on "their" holiday.

I see this as indicative of a larger problem in today's America. When my Polish grandparents immigrated to this country, they were damn well expected to take an oath of fealty, learn the language, assimilate into the culture and become Americans (which they did). A few years ago, when my Russian, Taiwanese and Korean sisters-in-law immigrated to this country, they were expected to take an oath of fealty, learn the language, assimilate into the culture and become Americans (which they did). They were told in no uncertain terms, "This is America. Love it or leave it." They chose to love it.

So why are some groups exempt from following standard protocol? Why are we pandering to their hostility? Are we afraid of "incendiary" repercussions if we don't kowtow to various factions? I don't think I've ever seen a group of immigrants so hell-bent on hating their adopted country. Why is it considered "incendiary" to be American and express pride in one's country? If America is such a rotten place, why did they come here?

I'll tell you why: Because America, for all its problems, is still the golden land of opportunity. When conditions in the crowded slums of Mexico City became intolerable, these people risked their lives, left their families and belongings and familiar surroundings, and marched toward the New Land to make a better life for themselves. Assuming this is done legally, I feel nothing but the greatest pleasure in welcoming such people to our country. We have a proud heritage of hospitality toward those who work hard, live frugally, educate their children and become business owners or model employees. My grandparents did this. My sisters-in-law did this. Millions of people originally from Mexico have done this.

So why are these Latino students so hostile toward displays of American pride? Didn't they come here to share that pride and partake of the endless opportunities we offer?

Apparently not. And it's well-known that not all "immigrants" follow the bootstrap method once they set foot in America. Along with our proud heritage of hospitality and opportunity, we have a shameful heritage of welfare and other entitlements that teaches the exact opposite: that laziness and deceit are rewarded. That legal procedures can be ignored. That hatred toward one's adopted country is acceptable and even celebrated.

And – perhaps – therein lies the reason the Mexican-American students were "offended by the five boys and others for wearing American colors on a Mexican holiday." They don't see this as America; they want to pretend it's Mexico. Except, of course, it isn't. It's an American school. In America.

May 08, 2010 - Appreciating America: The kids that are standing up for PATRIOTISM!

I had to post this video about the high school kids that were just trying to show their appreciation for America, and were punished for it because it happened to be Cinco de Mayo (May 5, 2010). You and I know that just isn't right, and so did these kids in the video, and even the Weekend Fox & Friends get it. It is so good to see them getting national exposure without being demonized. Now, what will they go through when they return to school Monday? They should be welcomed as heroes. And that will happen if this video goes viral. It's about courage.

Ronald Reagan: A Time For Choosing

And today will be a time for choosing. If 216 or more Representatives in the House choose to vote for ObamaCare, they will be choosing Socialism and tyranny over freedom and liberty, and it is that simple.

Now, watch the following video, and you you should be able to see how it relates to the ObamaCare vote today. Democrat representatives need to make the right choice in this very important "rendezvous with destiny." I hope they choose not to squander everything our brave men and women of history have fought so hard for. Our freedom is much more important than Barack Hussein Obama's ego.

The political spectrum 101 ~ By Joseph Farah

Commentary from WorldNetDaily
One of the reasons America is moving toward fascism today is because it has lost its constitutional moorings. We're supposed to believe in limited government in the United States. The federal powers are enumerated in the Constitution. But, in recent years, Washington has far exceeded its authority. And very few politicians – Democrats or Republicans – seem to give a darn.

So, maybe you ask, who's in the middle of the political spectrum?

The Founding Fathers were.

There's much confusion about the meaning of left and right in America today.

The confusion is, ironically, on both the left and the right.

I witnessed this most recently in commentaries and news reports about the riots at the Vancouver Olympics.

Those participating in the riots most frequently describe themselves as "anarchists."

So let's start with proponents of "anarchy." Where do they fall on the left-right political spectrum?

As proponents of no government, they would fall on the extreme right.

A true anarchist would be as far to the right as you can get on the political spectrum. Just to the left of anarchists would be libertarians, who acknowledge there is a role for government but want it strictly limited. Those we call "conservatives" might be just to the left of the libertarians.

Over on the other side of the political spectrum, the left side, would be those who want government to have totalitarian control. These would be hard-core Stalinists and communists.

Just to the right of them, but still way over on the left side of the spectrum, would be fascists, those who are still totalitarians, but don't insist that government own all the means of production. Fascists are content to control the means of production.

Just to the right of these folks are those in our society who call for a "mixed economy" in line with the European model. You could also call it "soft socialism."

In other words, what truly defines the political spectrum is attitude toward the proper role of government.

How does this model differentiate from the general misconceptions we hear so frequently?

First of all, fascism is often portrayed as a "right-wing" ideology, when, in fact, it is far left. Fascism and communism are ideological kissing cousins. That's how close they are on the political spectrum and in their way of governance.

In fact, I would say that fascists are often mistakenly called communists. Take a look at China today and it is not by any stretch of the imagination communist. It is fascist. Even though most people who think of themselves as "left" would tell you they detest fascism, in practice, they often have not.

Mussolini was beloved by the left and practically defined fascism. Hitler was embraced by the Communist Soviet Union, until he betrayed Stalin's non-aggression pact. Hollywood Communists led the "peace movement" in the U.S. and fought involvement in the European war until Hitler betrayed Stalin. Then, overnight, they became war mongers.

Secondly, anarchists are often descried as left-wingers, when in fact they are on the extreme right of the political spectrum. Again, the political spectrum, if it is to make any sense at all, should be based on attitude toward government.

Because of these misconceptions, many Americans are missing the real political threat facing our country. It's not from communism, but it is from another form of socialism – fascism.

America: Freedom to Fascism - Produced/Directed by Aaron Russo

I watched this video for the first time on July 14, 2009 on a DVD my supervisor loaned to me. I was totally amazed, as was my boss. You will be, too. Over 3 million views before Google removed it. Get this on DVD now for $1 order at www.freedomtofascism.com While watching the video, I kept having the feeling I had heard that Russo was no longer with us. I found the following at the FreedomtoFascism.com site to verify that:
Our Friend and Hero, Aaron Russo Has Passed Esteemed filmmaker, ardent activist and loyal patriot Aaron Russo lost his battle to cancer on August 24, 2007 at the age of 64. Aaron will be profoundly missed but always remembered. He was a husband, father, friend, mentor, and inspiration to many. Aaron's long list of achievements includes his work in the areas of filmmaking and political activism. His documentary film, "America: From Freedom to Fascism", debunked the justification of both the IRS and the Federal Reserve as well as exposed their crooked basis. This movie received widespread acclaim, including opening to standing ovations at the Cannes Film Festival. Congressman Ron Paul was also featured in the documentary, in which he presents his views on the economy and the Federal Reserve. Aaron's work in the realm of activism proved to be invaluable and selfless. He will be perpetually revered as a true patriot and tireless fighter for our freedom. We must continue to venerate Aaron's legacy as we move forward by honoring his great words: "There are no boundaries one must adhere to when preserving one's liberty".
RIP, Aaron, you were a hero and freedom fighter!
