In this episode, I address the disturbing information I received from a source about the rapidly deteriorating condition of Joe Biden. I also address the latest troubling incident in the liberal culture war on America.

When Dan Bongino was introducing this show, and in his concluding remarks, Dan talked about Joe Biden's rapidly diminishing cognitive abilities, and the threat to us all when the government takes over health care.  Near the end of this episode, there was a situation in a British hospital, where the police were dragging a man away from his dying daughter, arresting him.  Folks, that could have been me, in a different situation, but with the same cause:  Government decisions that may have impaired my freedom and pursuit of happiness, and not being able to be with my dad very much in his last days.

As Dan has spoke about often in the last few months, sometimes decisions come down to bad outcomes, and worse outcomes.  I had to keep that wisdom with me since early in this year of 2020.  In Iowa, the nursing homes became locked down until further notice, in early March.  It was for the safety of the residents, many at very advanced ages, like my dad who had turned 100 years old last November.  That decision by my Governor angered me to a great extent.  There was a unanimous agreement that my siblings and I getting over to see my dad on a pretty regular basis, and kept his mind stimulated by playing a game called "Rummikub".  It seemed to work, considering he had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's quite a few years ago (maybe 7 or 8?).  And for the first time in 75 years, he was alone, as my mom passed away in 2016.  (Why is it always in an election year?)

Well, I knew the consequences when the lockdown went into affect, and I had some very viscous thoughts at that time, that I ask the Lord to forgive me for.  There would not have been a good outcome had I done something, such as try to forcefully enter the facility.  I knew that.  And because jail never sounded appealing to me, I held myself back.  Yes, I fully analyzed the outcomes of doing this or that, but finally realized the PLUS side was that I could do nothing.  (Thank you, Greg Gutfeld, even though your book wasn't out yet, what you wrote was the strategy that I already knew about, from my own life experiences.)

And thank you Dan Bongino, for giving me something to do.  No, you didn't suggest that I did it, but you provided the thought stimulation that I needed to get through those last few months before my dad finally succumbed to his illness and old age.  Thankful, indeed, that my Dad was with us all the way through the ultimate pandemic lockdown, and we got to be with him as a family the day before Fathers Day in June 2020.  

So, what I really don't understand, knowing what my family has been through, I have to ask why Joe Biden's family is allowing Joe to be involved in this charade as the Demonicrat nominee?  Really?!  Do they honestly think that he could be elected as President of the most powerful country in human history in his condition?  And if he was elected, God forbid, how do they expect him to perform his duties?  Well, he couldn't.  So, what do the Demonicrats plan to do?  How do they expect people to react to a President that doesn't know what day it is?  Rhetorical question, if you watched this episode.  I don't think that the people want a figurehead Presidency, where a group is in the shadows, making decisions.  Right, a shadow government.  That is NOT what the American public is really hoping for.  Bad enough that we have a Deep State that tried a coup.  We're done with that kind of cow manure.

Study Marxism to understand Hillary ~ By Cliff Kincaid

Mrs. Clinton's speech to the Women in the World Summit, where she spoke on how religious beliefs have to be changed, was significant for several reasons. The event was sponsored by Tina Brown, who launched The Daily Beast and later became editor-in-chief of Newsweek. The event was conducted in association with The New York Times, and included actress Meryl Streep and comedian Jon Stewart. These were the elites of the progressive media and Hollywood.

Typically, Mrs. Clinton talked about families at the event. "We know that when women are strong, families are strong," she said. "When families are strong, countries are strong." It's important to understand this comment in light of her own failed marriage, which she has held together for political purposes, and how she has adopted the entire progressive agenda regarding how traditional families have to be changed to accommodate new sexual rights and new "family" structures. Olson's book is still important in order to understand what Mrs. Clinton means by families, and how Marxists use family-friendly jargon to confuse and mislead. Kengor's book is absolutely essential to understand how the progressive agenda would continue to transform the nation under a President Hillary Clinton.

I would tell you that I give Cliff Kincaid a lot of credit for being courageous enough to write and publish this piece, but then, I'd be patting myself on the back for having the courage to tell you about this article. The problem is, I shudder at the thought that I'm doing this. You see, I'm thinking the Progressives may have already won the cultural war. It is no longer "politically correct" to say that non-traditional families are destroying the foundation of this country, so, what are we to do, say, or write, that won't get NON-progressives fired from our jobs or blacklisted somewhere (like in the mainstream media or Hollyweird)? The "public" (or trolls living in mommy's basement?) is now programmed to scream and holler if anyone sounds one little bit intolerant of the non-traditional families.

As Cliff points out in this column, "the gay rights movement has now morphed into rights for so-called transgenders, as we see in the relentless media propaganda that is designed to convince the public that men can, and perhaps should, become women."

Okay, here is the deal:  I am sure that Cliff wrote this column for the benefit of promoting Paul Kengor's book.  I have no problem with that.  Cliff is just the messenger, and I'm just the guy galloping across the fruited plains via the internet super-highway to deliver the message:

Paul Kengor’s new book, Takedown: From Communists to Progressives, How the Left Has Sabotaged Family and Marriage, provides a detailed explanation of why, according to a new Gallup poll, “Americans are more likely now than in the early 2000s to find a variety of behaviors morally acceptable, including gay and lesbian relations, having a baby outside of marriage and sex between an unmarried man and woman.” Gallup notes, “Moral acceptability of many of these issues is now at a record-high level.”

What we are witnessing is a “shift to the left” that has been carefully orchestrated and planned over the course of decades. It is a phenomenon known as “cultural Marxism,” the application of Marxism to culture rather than the economic sphere. Kengor’s book, published by an arm of WorldNetDaily, outlines how this movement has operated, naming the names of the individuals and organizations that have been part of it, and how they have reached their zenith under the presidency of Barack Obama and the Democratic Party.

Significantly, he writes, Obama’s “most enduring legacy may be on American culture,” not in economics or foreign policy.

What makes me feel the worst is that we can be aware of cultural Marxism, and possibly believe that the Left has already won that battle, but do we have even a clue how to promote the desire to bring back the traditional family as the norm in this society?  Those of us that love the traditional family are the ones that would never believe in using force or tyranny to change things back to the way it was.

It took the Progressives a little over 100 years to transform America, and they're not done!  There is more evil that is ready to come in the form of Hillary Rodham Clinton, who has said, "deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed." Whoa, that is a lot more specific than just the old "hope and change" slogan! Just sayin'...

Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush's speech that launched his presidential campaign on Monday noted that Hillary Clinton's "progressive agenda" includes the admonition that traditional religious beliefs "have to be changed." Mrs. Clinton's entire quote, in talking about opposition to her version of feminism and demands for abortion, was that "deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed."

Bush also said of the Democrats, "They have offered a progressive agenda that includes everything but progress."

But it's never been the case that the progressive agenda offers real progress, as ordinary people understand the term. Instead, the "progressives" offer what Professor Paul Kengor calls cultural Marxism. This is the planned disintegration of the traditional family structure that has been the basis of Western civilization. Kengor, author of the new book, Takedown: From Communists to Progressives, How the Left Has Sabotaged Family and Marriage, told me in an interview that the progressives are guided by the belief that "new rights are coming all the time and that everything is in a state of evolution." He added, "There are no absolutes for them." Hence, the gay rights movement has now morphed into rights for so-called transgenders, as we see in the relentless media propaganda that is designed to convince the public that men can, and perhaps should, become women. Kengor says the next step is for "progress" or "evolution" to a new level that includes such concepts and arrangements as multiple wives, group marriages, sibling marriages, fathers and stepfathers marrying daughters and stepdaughters, and uncles marrying nieces.

It's no secret that Bill and Hillary Clinton's family structure exists in name only. Bill, the disgraced former president impeached by the House, betrayed Hillary and had sex with a White House intern. He is a serial adulterer. But the Clintons have stayed together for political reasons, so that Hillary can pursue her political career. Together, along with daughter Chelsea, this arrangement has generated nearly $2 billion in donations to a family foundation that now finds itself embroiled in financial scandals over where the money went, and what it paid for.

No Place for Dissent in Andrew Cuomo's New York ~ By Michael Filozof

The idea that a sitting governor of the fourth-largest state in the nation can tell people he disagrees with politically that they have "no place" in the state he governs is breathtakingly frightening. I cannot recall any American governor anywhere essentially telling American citizens to shut up or get out of his state. What about the constitutional rights to free speech, free association, and freedom of the press? What ever happened to the Madisonian idea that the rights of political minorities are to be protected from the tyranny of the majority? Whatever happened to all the incessant leftist rhetoric about "diversity" and "multiculturalism"? I guess "diversity" doesn't apply to conservatives, does it?

My good friend Phil Elmore shared this blog post from American Thinker on his Facebook timeline. In his description for the timeline update, Phil writes, "Remember when Hillary Clinton famously shrieked that 'We are Americans, and we have a RIGHT to debate and disagree with ANY administration!' Well, Democrats only believe in dissent when they are not in control."

What makes Gov. Cuomo's statements even more shocking is that in recent months, as Thomas Lifson adds, "New York State is currently running a national ad campaign urging companies to move to New York and open new businesses there, in order to receive a ten year tax holiday." Thomas then states the obvious, that: "These television commercials (seen regularly on Fox News Channel among others) need to be amended to indicate that no businesses owned by or employing people who believe in the Second Amendment or in the sanctity of unborn life are welcome in the state."

There are a few things that should be considered when reading this blog post. First, despite the 10 year "Tax Holiday" being advertised, knowing what Cuomo has said, would you want to move your business to New York? Would you trust Gov. Cuomo to not regulate your business into oblivion if he didn't agree with you?  Wouldn't you finally say, "Gov. Cuomo, you've lost me..."?  No state, local, or national government that comes out so blatantly saying that diverse beliefs are not welcome, deserves to prosper.

What I think is really "breathtakingly frightening," is that what Cuomo actually said publicly is probably what most of those on the far left would like to say. But the truth is, they don't have to say anything at all. They hate freedom and free enterprise.  They want Marxism, not capitalism.  Their actions speak louder than words. Just sayin'...

In a media interview Friday, Gov. Andrew Cuomo tagged his opponents as "extreme conservatives" and said that they "have no place in New York."

Who are these "extreme conservatives?" Opponents of gun control, abortion, and homosexual marriage, that's who:

"The Republican Party candidates are running against the SAFE Act... Their problem is not me and the Democrats; their problem is themselves. Who are they? Are they these extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay? Is that who they are? Because if that's who they are and they're the extreme conservatives, they have no place in the State of New York, because that's not who New Yorkers are."

Let's deconstruct this for a moment. New York's ultra-draconian "SAFE Act" permanently outlawed all military rifles developed in the past sixty years. It created State Police surveillance of all ammunition sales, and a required that the State Police keep a database of all ammunition purchases. It criminalized the possession of firearm magazines that were legally purchased decades ago without compensating the owners. It was passed at 2 A.M. with no committee hearings and no debate. Legislators were given 15 minutes' notice to vote on a 39 page bill -- not enough time to read it. And Cuomo waived a legal requirement that a three-day waiting period for public input occur before the legislation took effect.

And if you think that violates the Second, Fourth, and Fifth Amendments to the U.S. Constitution... you "have no place in the State of New York."

The blessing of shame ~ By Patrice Lewis

Americans lost our sense of shame when we allowed government to replace God. Generations of entitlements and a "me-mentality" has resulted in people unable to control their animal urges when faced with a child in a short skirt or a store with unattended merchandise. And this is during good times. What will happen when the economy really tanks? What kind of hyena-like activity can we expect then?

Should a series of disasters such as what Japan is currently experiencing strike our nation, there is no possible way we could ever expect the societal restraint the Japanese are demonstrating in the face of tragedy. Katrina showed us that. As a nation we are no longer capable of controlling our animal instincts. That sense of shame is gone.

Patrice spells out one of the major problems facing this country. It is a problem that could doom this country if it not be turned around before a major catastrophe like the Japanese are now facing.

There are several excellent points that Patrice makes about this problem:

• We cannot impose a sense of shame on anyone else. We cannot infuse anyone else with self-control. By definition, self-control comes from one's SELF.

• Fortunately, self-control is instantly achievable. All it takes is a choice, a decision.

• Self-control isn't any "fun" (which is why it is so seldom exercised), but it is honorable, moral and beneficial to society as a whole.

• Being American used to be a distinction of which citizens were justifiably proud. We knew we had the ability to be great because we had the roots and moral foundation and heritage to prove it.

So, here is the question: Can Americans again be like the honorable Japanese that are "to be congratulated for their restraint and self-control and for embracing the blessing of shame?" That is going to be a question that will test this Nation at some point. But here is how Patrice concludes her column, and what we need to be reminded of before it is too late:

God's blessings are a gift, and according to the Bible, the first gift was the gift of shame. But like all gifts, it's up to the recipient to accept or refuse it. Too many people have decided to refuse this gift – and refusing a gift from God is never a good idea. (emphasis my own)

Like much of the world, our family has been riveted by the tragedies in Japan over the past week, and we've been closely following the unfolding disasters. But one aspect of the Japanese reaction to the catastrophes has impressed me deeply.

Now let me jump subjects a bit. A couple of news stories from a few weeks ago caught my eye, a new phenomenon known as flash mobs. In one instance, a group of 30 to 40 teens gathered in a mall and proceeded to create havoc – flipping tables, pushing shoppers, knocking over items. In other more disturbing instances, flash mobs communicate by Twitter and then descend en masse upon a store, where they'll scream, knock merchandise over, grab items and run. With such large groups, the store's security personnel are overwhelmed, and most of the teens don't get caught. "It's all part of a growing phenomenon," notes the article. For the most part the teens don't know each other; they just temporarily assemble to create havoc, cause vandalism and steal.

Let me jump subjects again. Once more there are reports of shocking clothes and toys on the market specifically designed to pre-sexualize young girls to an alarming degree. Someone had to come up with the idea for these items and spend the money designing and manufacturing them, and yet retailers seem surprised at any objections.

Another subject jump. In Cleveland, 18 men and boys have been charged with gang-raping an 11-year-old girl. The lawyer of one of the accused actually said the victim was "seeking attention" because she was wearing a short skirt. What, an 11-year-old child "asked" to be gang-raped by wearing certain clothing?

What do all these unrelated stories have in common? Simple: a lack of shame.

Decades of liberal brainwashing, decades of moral relativism in schools, decades of single parenting with no fathers in the home, decades of mocking the biblical principles that once kept our nation's citizens in check … these have all combined to rip us loose from the moorings that kept our society civil, decent, respectful and ethical.

These behaviors are NOT an issue of poverty. Please, spare me that old line. It's an issue of moral, values, cultural standards and ethics. It's an issue of right versus wrong, of good and evil. Of a refusal to accept the blessing of shame.

The petition laments what it claims are conservative attempts to push for "abstinence-only sex education, stringent divorce laws, coercive marriage promotion policies directed toward women on welfare, and attacks on reproductive freedom."
