Seven Hard Truths Liberals Just Don’t Want To Hear ~ By Kurt Schlichter

Liberalism is magical thinking promulgated by cynical exploiters upon the eternally gullible and the chronically lazy. It’s a political Ponzi scheme, and today’s participants are the unlucky marks coming in at the end of the grift.

Liberalism will collapse of its own dead weight. And when it does, you true believers better be ready for the hard truth that there is no such thing as a free lunch.
I need to continue on from what Kurt Schlichter said was Hard Truth Number 7:
And that leads to Hard Truth Number 7: This can’t go on.

Lady [Margaret] Thatcher famously formulated that, “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.” And you will.

What I need to tell you is there are even more Hard Truths that you should know about:

Hard Truth Number 8: When the Ponzi system goes broke, the most likely result will be tyranny, and probably genocide. You probably will not be able to vote Conservatives into power; forget about trying to remove the likes of Harry Reid from control of the Senate; and we won't be taking back the White House anytime soon, either. In places like North Korea, the Dear Leader gets 100% of the vote.

Hard Truth Number 9:  There are Liberals that knew very well about the first eight Hard Truths, and that was their plan all along! Well, their plan for at least 100 years, anyway, was to upend our culture, eliminate religion, divide the population by race and class warfare, and dumb down the kids with the indoctrination centers they call public schools...

But, perhaps, there is one more Hard Truth to discuss.  What I consider to be Hard Truth Number 10: There are hardcore, gun-toting, Bible clinging "redneck" patriots out here that are going to make your plan much more difficult to achieve. This is Amazing America!!! This isn't the end of what some of us have to say.  It is not over yet!  I'm just sayin'...

H/T to Jan Morgan for leading me to this video!

H/T to Louis Van Marm, one of my Brother Tea Partiers, for the email that lead me to Kurt Schlichter's awesome column, and for a follow-up email that gave me encouragement to stay inspired to keep blogging and hoping that we can still turn this country around!

Seven Hard Truths Liberals Just Don’t Want To Hear

From Townhall.com

It’s difficult to understand liberals when you don’t live in their sheltered cocoon of participation trophies, faux caring and feel-good lies.

Those of us who labor in the real world – who built this country, who make it work and who defend it – deal with reality. Most liberals don’t. And that can be baffling, because when they speak they sound like visitors from the planet Nimrod.

Now, some liberals do understand the real world. They are the cynical liberal icons, the ones who know their entire ideology is a scam designed to wring power and wealth from the gullible.

They are the rich ones who cry about poverty and racism then gleefully consign poor and minority kids to public school failure factories by doing the bidding of their unionized teacher partners and torpedoing educational choice. Their own kids wouldn’t get within a mile of an inner city public school, except maybe to swing by in the Mercedes C-Class they got for their 16th birthday to buy some weed from the gangbangers infesting it.

12-Aug-2011, Part 3: The mob is coming ~ By Phil Elmore

As liberals grow increasingly shrill in their hatred and frustration over conservative attempts to thwart their power plays, America's leftists will resort to violence more frequently and in greater numbers. The rancor over the recent debt-ceiling debate will become a fond memory. Obama and his minions, not to mention a complicit media, were quick to tell us that we may never disagree with liberals – for if we do, America will be punished by foreign bankers. As the rhetoric grows hotter, the fists will fly faster. Blaming the "terrorists" in the tea party for Obama's failures of leadership will seem tame by comparison.

The mob is coming. Be ready.
It's chilling. As I mentioned from the beginning of this 8-12-11 series, there is a common theme. If you haven't figured it out yet, you will soon. So let's start with this:
The classic quote from a rioter on the street in London was this: "We hear people were getting stuff free, so why not us?"

You will notice that tea-party activists don't have a sense of entitlement. They don't ask for free stuff. They don't demand handouts. They don't ask that government take care of them. They just ask that government follow the rule of law and act responsibly.

The rioters in the streets of London and Philadelphia most certainly do have a sense of entitlement. They believe they have the right to rob and beat other people and take what they want. They believe in burning and terrorizing and attacking police and civilians.

~ Joseph Farah, on 9-AUG-11: You want to see face of 'terrorism'?
Oh, well, shucks... You're getting the point, right? Are you ready for what we will be facing very soon? You won't bother to "get ready" if you are neither aware or believe that it can happen. But look, it's going on in London, in Europe, and even here.

Those on the left love to talk about the "Tea Party rage." There's really no way to be any more disingenuous than that. The left is using that phrase, "Tea Party Rage," knowing that the tea party's "rage" has nothing to do with violence. It hasn't ever happened. No tea party has ever broke out into violence. Looting and pillaging is not part of the Tea Party Movement. Really, get serious!

However, Phil Elmore gives us a stern warning in his column. It is one thing to endure harsh and inaccurate rhetoric against the tea party. We must be prepared, because suppose for a minute that the leftist minions (union thugs and people living on entitlements) decided that only violence would get the attention of the media and politicians so that they could get their "free stuff"? Or, could it even be a ploy to intimidate and get the attention of those who would peacefully protest against the largess of government?

If you read all three of the columns that I referenced yesterday and today, you will hopefully get the point. The MOB that Nancy Pelosi accused the Tea Party of being, and the MOB that the leftists are organizing and putting into play, are two different things.

Joseph Farah sums it up perfectly when he wrote, "When you demonize the hard-working, productive middle class who organize peacefully and call for reforms, you are inviting the shiftless, unproductive class to take the opposite approach."

The Second Amendment in the Bill of Rights is the force multiplier, as Phil says. It exemplifies "Peace through strength," because deterrence of violence is our priority. I'm just sayin'....

Obama hates guns.

This is a fact. Like every lib, like every socialist would-be dictator, like every arrogant statist who views his fellow human beings' freedom of action as a threat (rather than a benefit that accrues to all the citizenry), Obama cannot stand the idea that you, armed, might be able to stand up to leftist bullying.

You see, that is what a firearm is. Before guns are "liberty teeth," before they are a tool for resisting oppression, before they are the linchpin of a free society that defends and protects the other natural rights protected by the Bill of Rights, they are a personal means of standing up for yourself. A gun, like a lever or a hammer, is a force multiplier. Firearms are a labor-magnifying technology that enables the user to apply more force to more people than that user could apply with his bare hands. That's it. That's all guns do. They possess neither volition nor morality. By themselves, they are complicated paperweights.

The fear and loathing liberals heap on firearms is largely ignorance, projection of their own weakness and irrational fear ... but deep down, it is also a recognition of the gun's utility as a force multiplier. If you're a lib desperate to control every waking moment of his fellow human beings' lives, you absolutely cannot abide the idea of force multiplication. This is because liberals adore violence. Specifically, they adore mob violence. An ideology that subordinates the individual to the collective and the citizen to the state of necessity lauds the power of the mob. Liberals are, after all, only courageous in groups. They are happy to bully any man or woman whom they outnumber and can overpower, but will scream victimization if aggressively opposed by prepared, right-thinking citizens.

Examples of liberal thuggery and hate abound and are as close as the nearest political protest. Our left-leaning media delight in furthering the mythology that conservatives, tea-party members and other libertarians are violent and threatening toward peaceful leftist activists, when of course the exact opposite is true and has been demonstrated time and again. Consider, for example, the beating of conservative Kenneth Gladney.

12-Aug-2011, Part 1: Just who, exactly, is delusional? ~ By Robert Ringer

Would that the Republicans had thrown a temper tantrum (as Democrats and the left-wing media accused them of doing) and gotten their way. If so, we'd be looking at a very panicked Barack Obama today rather than the same cool community organizer who is focused on raising a billion dollars to aid him in anesthetizing the public once again and winning what should be, based on the results of his presidency, an unwinnable election for him.

Maybe the tea-party people do need to get violent, given that the left will continue to accuse them of doing so regardless of how civil they act. Even if they throw out of office enough RINOs who still don't get the tea-party message and bring in a whole new group of Republicans who are willing to take a chainsaw to the budget (rather than just getting excited about "changing the terms of the debate" in Washington), the violence that Messrs. Bashir and Peele so worry about is sure to happen anyway.

However, violence that results from real (as opposed to imaginary) spending cuts won't come from the tea-party folks. It will come from those who are unwilling to give up the good life they've become so accustomed to as a result of the government's redistribution-of-wealth policies.

But let's see the spending cuts first. We can worry about the violence later.
I've been having a productivity decline this summer. There have been so many columns that I wanted to bring to your attention, but just haven't had the time to get them all in. I've been spending a large portion of time digesting and discussing a small number of columns. So, today, I'm dividing my blog post for the day into three parts. This will be the first of the three that I chose to discuss. There was a common theme that I found in several articles on WND.com.

I've been wanting to do something different in this venue for quite awhile. Today, I saw an opportunity which came from three great columns that were published on August 10, 2011. A column written and published on August 9, 2011 by the founder, editor and CEO of WND, Joseph Farah, set the stage. This is going to be fun doing these three columns, and I think you are going to like these posts! It's going to be fresh, and it will be easy to understand what the theme is and why it is so very important to be aware of. It's going to be an "AMEN!" moment for you when you read these three posts and the corresponding columns!

So, let's get started. We'll begin by stating just who is actually delusional in order to answer Robert's question posed in the title to his column:
People who characterize the tea-party movement as terrorists are clearly incapable of rationally processing information.

They don't know right from wrong.

They have no appreciation for American history and constitutional guarantees for freedom of speech and petitioning for redress of grievances.

~ Joseph Farah, on 9-AUG-11: You want to see face of 'terrorism'?
I just wonder if the rules are changing on us, gang. You're probably going to need an appointment with a chiropractor soon, folks, because I warn you, it's possible that you may suffer from a neck injury caused by the whiplash you'll receive when reading this.

First of all, do you know why some of those on the left, specifically the ones that Robert mentions in this column, are so delusional? It is so obvious, but yet, they actually do not believe that you are aware that the much of the violence is coming from the left, and the racist subgroups that fall on that side of the political spectrum. That's right. The problem with violence is NOT coming from tea party groups. Not even a spec of evidence exists that would suggest that it is tea partiers whom resort to violence. So, for leftists to make that assertion, it's truly delusional!

But, a thought that crossed my mind: Is it any less delusional for those of us in the tea party and on the Conservative side to believe that at some point, society's decay will not require us to defend ourselves? I'm just sayin'....

Just who, exactly, is delusional?
ROBERT RINGER

Isn't it remarkable how the left is railing on and on about how the tea-party members of Congress held the debt-ceiling talks hostage by demanding that there be no tax hikes? They've even referred to them as terrorists and suicide bombers, malcontents who ignored the heartfelt pleas of that paragon of unity, Barack Obama, to tone down the rhetoric after the Tucson shootings.

But something doesn't quite ring true here. If the tea-party contingency sabotaged the debt-ceiling talks, why would a majority of Republicans be so mad at them?

Democratic feigned anger aside, the truth is that what the Republicans actually accomplished was to 1) raise the debt ceiling enough to take the pressure off Obama until after the 2012 elections, 2) fail to make certain that there will be no tax hikes in the near future (trust me, there will be), and 3) rather than cut spending, merely slow the growth of spending (as Republicans have been doing for decades) from an Obama baseline that would have been unheard of even in the George W. Bush years.

Nevertheless, along comes a real radical, CNBC's Martin Bashir, and conducts an anti-tea-party interview with a left-wing shrink by the name of Stanton Peele. Peele told Bashir (with the utmost objectivity, of course) that tea-party conservatives are "delusional," "could become a very angry movement" and "could potentially become a violent movement."

Really? Funny, but in all the tea-party events I've been to, I haven't seen anyone who looks like he has the "potential" to become violent. On the other hand, I've seen a lot of union thugs who are violent, but, for some reason, neither Bashir nor Peele mentioned any of those guys. Hmm, that's weird … I wonder why? Must have just slipped their minds.

At one point, Bashir asked Peele: "So you're saying that they [the tea-party people] are delusional about the past and adamant about the future?" To which Peele responded, with an air of professional pomposity, "They are adamant about achieving something that's unachievable, which reminds us of a couple of things: It reminds us of delusion and psychosis. It reminds us of addiction because addicts are seeking something that they can't have."

Something they can't have? Hmm … and here I thought the tea-party candidates won the mid-term elections in a landslide, so gaining control of the House and increasing the number of Republicans in the Senate turned out to be something they could have.

Could it be that Martin Bashir, Dr. Peele and angry Democrats are the ones who are delusional? Do they not understand that history has repeatedly shown that radicalism and violence are overwhelmingly traits of the far (and sometimes not so far) left?

After Massachusetts, what's next? ~ By Star Parker

Commentary from WorldNetDaily
Star Parker By Star Parker Posted: January 23, 2010 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2010 Have you ever watched as a dear friend becomes smitten with someone you know is not for them? You listen as they swear how Mr. or Ms. Right has finally arrived, wondering how they cannot see the obvious. Your only option is to watch and wait for the inevitable, knowing that when it's over you'll be there to help pick up the pieces. So, yes, independent voters, who were key to electing Barack Obama, are now falling out of love with him. But, I ask, what were you folks thinking a year ago? You didn't realize that the post-racial candidate with the magic wand was a classic, boilerplate liberal? You were so sick of Republicans that you didn't bother to think about it? But you do know about these rebound relationships, don't you? It's not like we haven't had our experience with liberalism. That experience made the liberal label so politically deadly that liberals renamed themselves "progressives." So, what can we expect now in the wake of the miracle in Massachusetts? Democrats are between a rock and hard place because Barack Obama is not going to change. This is a date you know after five minutes is not going to work, and you have the whole evening ahead of you. In this case, it's three more years. READ FULL STORY >

The Liberal-Muslim Axis ~ By Ellis Washington

Commentary from WorldNetDaily
Ellis Washington By Ellis Washington Posted: January 02, 2010 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2010
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. ~ Sir Edmund Burke
During World War II, there were essentially two sides – the Allied Powers included America, England, France and Russia; the Axis Powers were Germany, Italy and Japan. In the 1930s, there was a clear line of demarcation. Every rational person in the world knew which side was evil and which was good. The world after six bloody years of war against Nazi Germany under Adolf Hitler was won not by diplomacy, negotiations, compromise and international treaties, but by seizing moral principle and defending it with the heroic valor of the Allied soldiers against an evil, irredeemable foe. Since the end of World War II, I contend that we have an even more wicked, incorrigible enemy that Western civilization must fight, but unlike Hitler's conspicuous legions of Brownshirts and SS shock troops goose-stepping in front of the Reichstag, this enemy of modern times, this Liberal-Muslim Axis has as its greatest weapon deception, lies and Machiavellian tactics. They hide in the halls of Congress, the White House, the courts, behind 501(c)(3) organizations. The Muslim Axis powers hide behind Allah, Muhammad, the Quran, women's burqas, among civilians; inside Mosques, caves and desolate places in the mountains of Pakistan, Afghanistan, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, as well as inside the halls of power in England, France and America. Conventional wisdom tells us that the greatest trick of the devil was to make everyone believe that he doesn't exist. Likewise, the greatest trick of the Liberal-Muslim Axis is to maneuver and wield vast religious, political and economic power without alerting people who they really are. What do I mean? On one level liberalism and Islam appear to be opposite ideological forces. Liberalism is a political philosophy developed during the Age of Enlightenment in 18th-century Europe. Some of its famous exponents were: Voltaire, Hobbes, Kant, Napoleon, the American framers and the French philosophers. Islam was born in the deserts of Arabia in the early seventh century. Islam is a revolutionary, totalizing political ideology masquerading as a religion. It has no respect for Judaism or Christianity but worships the moon-god deity, Allah, whose distinctive crescent is signified in the flags and religious icons of all Muslim nations. Their central teachings are that all other religions except Islam are false and all other people not Muslim can be summarily executed. "Fight and kill the infidels (unbelievers) wherever you find them," reads Sura 9:5. That's a commandment, not a suggestion. Liberalism and Islam are essential mirror images of one another whose end worships power and control above all else. Liberalism is a political philosophy that over the past 300 years has morphed into a pagan cult-like religion of death, exerting absolute political hegemony and societal domination. As a religion, liberalism can move and function in ways that other bona fide religions (Judaism, Christianity) could never venture while at the same time wielding dictatorial political power over virtually the entire world. Climate myth: 4 corners of deceit ~ By Ellis Washington

Commentary from WorldNetDaily

The fact is that we can't account for the lack of warming at the moment and it is a travesty that we can't ... . Our observing system is inadequate. ~ Scientist at University of East Anglia's Climate Research Unit
On Thursday. Nov. 19 a hacker broke into the computers at the University of East Anglia's Climate Research Unit (CRU) and released 160 megabytes of confidential files onto the Internet – including 1,079 emails and 72 documents. Over the past 10 days, those materials have now been posted all over the Internet and reveal what most rational people have thought all along – that anthropogenic (man caused) global warming is perhaps the biggest scientific hoax in the past 150 years, or since publication of Charles Darwin's treatise on evolution, "The Origin of Species" (1859). Last Tuesday, radio host Rush Limbaugh, in his commentary on the recent climate change scandal, put this outrage in a bigger context he referred to as the "four corners of deceit" which consist of: government, academia, science and media. This theory is placed in the paradigm of two worldviews that have warred against each other since antiquity – Veritas vs. Infidus – a worldview based on Truth vs. a worldview based on the Big Lie. Liberalism with its multiplicity of manifestations – paganism, humanism, Enlightenment, Darwinism, progressivism, Marxism, socialism, fascism, communism, naturalism, Nazism, Statism, Obamaism – is all part of the same existential Big Lie. What's wrong with the Constitution? ~ By Patrice Lewis

From WorldNetDaily
Patrice LewisBy Patrice Lewis Posted: November 07, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 In last week's column, I expressed my concern that our country is rapidly moving away from the governmental restraint outlined in the Constitution and Bill of Rights. I invited people to briefly tell me why they thought the Constitution was flawed or unfair, or with what parts they disagree. I received so many replies that I had to pick and choose what to include. I received few e-mails from true liberals, though I received many replies from conservatives who gave me their thoughts as to how liberals interpret these documents. The replies were extremely polite, for which I thank everyone. I'm not making judgments on these answers; I'm just reporting them as a glimpse into how people interpret the Constitution. Each paragraph is input from a different reader: "The Constitution is flawed in that it does not contain a mechanism for The People to enforce it, other than the ballot box (which doesn't repeal legislation) – or revolution." "Is Social Security constitutional? How did the politicians and the Supreme Court justify this Ponzi scheme back in the 1930s?" "I don't think the liberals think or believe the Constitution is flawed. I think that they love to play with and tweak words to suit what they distortedly believe is their 'right' to have what they have not earned. They hate to see people work hard, have what they have not earned, and tear us down because they feel jealous and inferior. They feel that they are owed and want to force charity upon the working people. Granted, many of these liberals do work, but I do not think that their brainwashed minds of entitlement allow them to fathom the magnitude of these (Pelosi, Reid, Congress, Obama) decisions and the impact it will have on all of our lives. They love being lied to because it gives them a cause. ... Liberals love to have a cause, no matter how twisted and false it may be. They have not learned what is really important in life, therefore push their own selfish and destructive agendas." [CLICK HERE TO READ MORE]

Because liberalism is a mental disorder ~ By Ellis Washington

From WorldNetDaily
Ellis Washington By Ellis Washington Posted: October 07, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009
I believe it's time for the heads of left-wing agitation groups [ACLU, National Lawyers Guild, and MoveOn.org] who are using the courts to impose their will on the sheeple to be prosecuted under the federal RICO statutes. ~ Michael Savage, "Liberalism is a Mental Disorder" (2005) The theme of this picture is whether men ought to be ruled by God's law or whether they are to be ruled by the whims of a dictator. ~ Cecil B. DeMille, on his 1956 movie, "The Ten Commandments"
Prologue to a mental disorder In 1615 the great scientist Galileo put his life on the line against the supreme political power in Italy and boldly told the Catholic Church that the earth was not the center of the universe (geocentrism), but that the earth and all the planets revolved around the sun (heliocentrism). Einstein tolled for years in obscurity as a lowly patent clerk while working on his experiments from 1895-1905. He was marginalized by his professors as a "dreamer" and a "C student," scorned by his fellow scientists as an oddity, yet his theory of relativity changed the world and ushered in the Nuclear Age. What did these men have in common? Both were intellectual giants who dwelt among the legions of mental midgets of their day, yet they ignored the cacophony of lesser men with duplicitous agendas and fulfilled the transcendent calling of their singular genius. Why blacklist Michael Savage? The great French philosopher Voltaire, one of the founding father's of classical liberalism, is credited with saying, I may not believe in what you say, but I will die for your right to do so – yet, where are these sentiments regarding the blacklisting of Michael Savage? Why has not one member of Congress, not one person in the Stalinist-controlled media complex, the ACLU, or free-speech activists of the academy willing to lay aside their own cowardice and indifference and defend this American patriot? Because liberalism is a mental disorder. On May 5, 2009, conservative intellectual and radio host Michael Savage was banned from entering Britain, his name blacklisted by a Western democracy for two reasons: 1) He was a Jew, and Britain, using egalitarianism (equality of results), wanted to balance their list of Muslim terrorists with other people who were not Muslim; and 2) For 15 years Michael Savage has been the most eloquent and vociferous voice in the media chronicling how liberalism has perverted America, Western Civilization and the world. Why would Britain (and America by de facto silence) stifle this man's freedom of speech, freedom of expression and freedom of movement? Because liberalism is a mental disorder. Found: Cure for the liberal virus ~ By Pat Boone

From WorldNetDaily
Pat BooneBy Pat Boone Posted: August 29, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 It was at the Hutchinson Cancer Clinic in Seattle, several years ago I first saw live cancer cells under a microscope. It's forever seared into my memory. Dr. Fred Hutchinson, founder of the renowned clinic and research center, was showing me around. He asked me, "Have you ever actually seen cancer cells? Would you like to?" Of course I said I would, and he took me into a laboratory and produced a number of slides. I looked through the high-powered microscope – and gazed at the embodiment of evil. Little black, iridescent globs, almost radiant from within, pulsing with menace, looking like miniaturized Darth Vaders from Star Wars. "Doc, this is ghastly, frightening! What in the world can fight these things?" I asked. "These," he said. And he stuck another slide under the scope. I was now looking at what looked like a bunch of Little Orphan Annie eyes, perfectly round clear circles. I asked, "These little circles, they can fight those evil blisters?" "They can absolutely lick cancer totally; I'll show you," he said. And he then showed me a progression of slides, and I'll never forget what I saw. In stages, those little circles – lymphocytes or white blood cells – moved up to and around the black blisters, completely covered them, and smothered them out of existence. They created an environment in which the cancer cells couldn't function, and they just dissolved. In my mind, I saw a subtitle tickertape moving under the slides, right out of the Bible: "Be not overcome with evil. Overcome evil with good." Doctor Fred went on. "Every body contracts cancer cells from time to time, unknown to the person. Most of the time, a healthy blood stream will deliver those lymphocytes where they're needed, and in sufficient quantity, and the cancer cells are dissolved and expelled. We here, and around the world, are trying to find the way to send that army of white blood cells to the places where the cancer cells have established a foothold. When we accomplish that, we'll lick cancer." I then asked the obvious question. "Do we know how cancer starts, where the black filthy cells come from?" And, as I remember it, he said the medical research world feels there's some virus that infects otherwise healthy cells, and chemically distorts or corrupts their DNA. Those cells go on living in the organ, and reproducing – but now controlled by a different blueprint. They have become outlaws, renegades and as they grow they disrupt the functions of the organ, contaminate and ruin it; and they can eventually spread through the body, using the bloodstream, and cause death. There's something fearfully like that going on in our body politic. A deadly virus has been loosed throughout our system, and wherever it takes root, it changes the functions and the structure that gave us the grandest, strongest, freest system of government the world has ever known. I call it liberalism. [READ ENTIRE COLUMN!]

Beyond conservatism – beyond Reagan - By Joseph Farah

By Joseph Farah March 14, 2009 My friend and colleague Rush Limbaugh is under siege right now from Barack Obama's minions who have placed a target on his back and declared him public enemy No. 1. I can understand why. Rush's program is, in many ways, a beacon of truth and common sense in an age of lies and disinformation. He also commands the largest audience of any dissenter from the path of socialism chosen by Obama's Democrats and cheerleaders in the Big Media. While the Obama crowd is hoping the nation and the world will put behind them Ronald Reagan conservatism, now personified by Rush, they eagerly embrace the failures of the past with a new brand of supercharged Franklin D. Roosevelt-style Big Government. But are those really the only choices facing this nation? Is the choice really between Reagan and Roosevelt? Is the choice between conservatism and liberalism? Or are there other choices we should consider? For a long time, I have tried to get my conservative friends to consider a more ambitious agenda – especially as our nation has drifted further and further from its roots in constitutionally limited government, individual liberty and personal responsibility. While I love Rush and love Reagan, I have to tell you that liberalism is not the only enemy of freedom. We're losing too much ground too fast. We need an offensive agenda to keep America free and prosperous. It's time to realize that even electing another Reagan, if one were on the scene, is not enough to reverse the destruction wrought upon this country's most cherished institutions since he left office in 1989. Is liberalism anti-intellectual? - By Ellis Washington

Under the pretext of an imminent economic depression, Obama will use the machinery of government to repress our God-given natural rights of the people on an unprecedented scale. Unless Obama's anti-intellectual, Marxist moves are stopped; this country will no longer be called USA but USSA – the United Socialist States of America. read more | digg story

They're poor winners, too - By David Limbaugh

"Leftists are always lecturing Republicans and conservatives on the importance of civility and bipartisanship yet revealing, whether winner or losing, that they are the ones who need lessons in manners and collegiality. ... As events of the past week have shown, liberals are every bit as bad at winning as they are at losing." (Well said, David!)

Ann Coulter: Liberals are hoodwinking you - by Drew Zahn

Best-selling author Ann Coulter hopes to rip the blinders off good, charitable Americans who are being conned, she says, into unwittingly buying a politically liberal agenda. "Americans are the most charitable people in the universe," Coulter told WND in an exclusive interview, "and particularly religious and conservative Americans are incredibly giving and Christian in their outlook toward the world. … But liberals are taking advantage of that very charitable impulse to hoodwink us, to hoodwink the world, to change policy." Apparently Liberalism is a Psychological Disorder

The following story was posted at WorldNetDaily.com on November 12, 2008
WASHINGTON – Just when liberals thought it was safe to start identifying themselves as such, an acclaimed, veteran psychiatrist is making the case that the ideology motivating them is actually a mental disorder. "Based on strikingly irrational beliefs and emotions, modern liberals relentlessly undermine the most important principles on which our freedoms were founded," says Dr. Lyle Rossiter, author of the new book, "The Liberal Mind: The Psychological Causes of Political Madness." "Like spoiled, angry children, they rebel against the normal responsibilities of adulthood and demand that a parental government meet their needs from cradle to grave." While political activists on the other side of the spectrum have made similar observations, Rossiter boasts professional credentials and a life virtually free of activism and links to "the vast right-wing conspiracy." For more than 35 years he has diagnosed and treated more than 1,500 patients as a board-certified clinical psychiatrist and examined more than 2,700 civil and criminal cases as a board-certified forensic psychiatrist. He received his medical and psychiatric training at the University of Chicago. [Continue reading]

Vox Day: God and the economy

Beneath neo-atheist's logical blunders and factual errors lies the falsehood that reason is capable of dictating individual belief. The embrace of religious faith is an abandonment of belief in the fraudulent progressive narrative that 'society becomes more peaceful and prosperous' through commitment to science and reason. read more | digg story, submitted by RSandman

How Modern Liberalism came to existence

A normal brain would have discarded any theory that it is not compatible with reality, but the leftist brain is not normal: if the reality does not confirm the theory, to hell with the reality! So to deploy Socialism in the West, they concluded that it was necessary to destroy Judeo-Christian morals... read more | digg story
