Joaquin Phoenix: Let the COWS live, let the BABIES die ~ Video by Fortis Media

JJ McNown hits it out of the park in this presentation on the Fortis Media youtube channel.

At the Hollyweird Oscars, Joaquin Phoenix recently berated Americans for drinking cow’s milk, or killing a calf or cow for food, while finding it morally acceptable to kill a baby.
The great irony, however, is that while Hollywood will decry the slaying of a COW, they celebrate the killing of BABIES.

It’s violently rank hypocrisy at its highest form.

Lone Survivor beats all box office predictions in impressive opening weekend ~ Glenn Beck

“As you will see, the most honorable thing a friend can do for his brothers, Marcus Luttrell has done and told this story and made it appropriate for their death. And you will be amazed at the honor of these men. Truly amazed and humbled,” Glenn concluded. “If you don’t walk out of there going, ‘What am I doing with my life?’ ‘What is important to me?’ If you don’t walk out of that movie theater feeling that, I don’t know, you need to watch it again or check yourself into a hospital to see if you have a heart or a soul.” ~ Glenn Beck

This news mirrors exactly what I expected to happen. It isn't because I'm psychic, either, but because I was aware of Marcus Lutrell's story, thanks to Glenn Beck. I had heard Glenn's interview with Marcus quite some time ago while listening to the show in progress (not just a repeat or a clip). I've also come across a lot of people that have told me that they plan to go to the theater to see this movie. I plan on seeing "Lone Survivor" in the next few days.
Based on the failed June 28, 2005 mission "Operation Red Wings." Four members of SEAL Team 10, were tasked with the mission to capture or kill notorious Taliban leader, Ahmad Shahd. Marcus Luttrell was the only member of his team to survive.

There is a good reason why I've voluntarily propagated this story even further. This is a message to Hollyweird. America isn't going for movies like "The Wolf of Wallstreet." It isn't what America wants to see. Patriots like movies that show courage and resilience and heroes that are fighting for America!

And guess what?!! Hey, Hollywood, there are many more patriots here in America than you ever dreamed of!

If you want Hollywood to know how many patriots there are in America, and if "Lone Survivor" is the kind of movie you want Hollywood to produce, please help this post keep propagating! You can share it with your friends on Twitter or Facebook or by word of mouth. Just sayin'...

Lone Survivor, the film adaption of former Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell’s bestselling book of the same name, had a historical weekend at the box office.

“If you haven’t seen Lone Survivor, you need to,” Glenn said on radio this morning. “Second biggest opening in January of any movie. They were surprised by it… They thought it was going to be $14 million. It was $38 million. This thing is going to make well over $100 million and then some.”

Lone Survivor finished the weekend as the number one movie in America bringing in $38.5 million. It bested Disney’s Frozen, which came in at number two, earning $15 million in its eighth weekend, and Paramount’s The Wolf of Wall Street earning $9 million in its third weekend. The opening weekend marked the second biggest January opening ever after the $40.1 million debut of 2008′s Cloverfield.

I'm suing Hollywood for discrimination! ~ By Victoria Jackson

The mainstream media may deny that they have accomplished their goals, but the truth is: "We have abortion virtually on demand, same-sex marriage in an increasing number of states, Obamacare, massive entitlements, the 'hook-up' culture, obsessive environmentalism, and Judeo-Christian values are under constant assault, etc. Hollywood has without a doubt pushed America further left, and Shapiro proves that theory to be fact in his new book."

See Ben's interview with Fox News' Sean Hannity:

Video provided by SuchIsLifeVideos on Jun 1, 2011

I'm really not the suing type. But, Ben Shapiro's got me thinking about it.

Note: As a follow-up to last week's piece, "I Love Jews!" Check out Ben's column on JINOS ("Jews In Name Only")!
In my previous post, while I was pondering on Barry Farber's column, "Communism's rebirth – at our expense," I wrote this:
Honestly, I have to wonder what could possibly have shoved all of the bad memories of what Communist nations did to their people down the memory hole. The media? Educators? Government propaganda? Hope and change?
Oops, I missed one: Hollywood (unless you include it in the Media category).

I really, really hope that including Hollywood in the list of institutions of American culture that have assisted in our attempted national suicide will not shock you. Okay, maybe 35 years ago, it might have shocked us. Many of the shows back in the day on TV, or on the big screen, were wholesome. Cosby. Rocky. Richy Cunningham. And yes, even "Family Ties" (with Michael J. Fox), even though Conservatism was constantly being attacked. At least we had Alex P. Keaton, who always tried his best to set the record straight! (Or, did he?) And yes, the show was attempting to normalize liberal views, just as so many other shows have done since. Who knew?

I can definitely understand Victoria's frustration with trying to land an acting gig in Hollywood. However, suing is obviously not the answer. It may be time for Victoria to look outside of Hollywood for acting jobs, which she is probably doing already. There are many alternatives to Hollywood, including great Christian and faith-based films and TV shows, or maybe producing some more great Tea Party documentaries or short films.  Hey, here's one that Victoria was in:

Video provided by PasadenaTeaParty ~ November 02, 2009

Look, at one time, there were very few choices of TV and radio that had a Conservative edge. And now we have Conservative talk radio that exploded following the end of the Fairness Doctrine. We have Fox News as an alternative to the mainstream media news, CNN or MSNBC... Well, guess what? There are good actresses and actors, directors, and producers that could be taking on Hollywood. Like in "The Field of Dreams," if it (Conservative and faith-based media) is built, they (an audience) will come. Being the audience is up to those of us that are just plain sick and tired of the garbage that Hollywood has provided over the last few decades. Victoria wouldn't need to sue Hollywood. I think we'd flock to see anything she was involved in. I'm just sayin'...

Academy of Television Arts and Sciences,
North Hollywood, 2007 (photo by Brenda Salmon).
I've always blamed my lack of acting jobs on myself; my weight, my age, my talent (or lack thereof) my location (I live in Florida). But now, drumroll please, 27-year-old Ben Shapiro, summa cum laude UCLA graduate and cum laude Harvard Law graduate, author of "Primetime Propaganda: The True Hollywood Story of How the Left Took Over Your TV," has given me permission to sue Hollywood for discrimination!

Shapiro has proven, with over 70 audio-taped interviews of the Hollywood elite, that there is not only a liberal bias and a conscious liberal agenda, but an outright "McCarthy-ish" blacklist against conservative artists, writers and actors. I knew it!

But, how do you prove discrimination? Your agent doesn't call you and say, "Vicki, you didn't get the role. The producer said he hates Christians," or "Hi, Victoria! The director said he did not give you the role because you are an outspoken conservative." Oh, no. Your agent calls and says, "They went a different way," or "I can't get you an audition for that, they already cast the role."

Discrimination isn't direct. Discrimination is a fog that permeates an institution or a culture, silently and stealthily seeping into the cracks, touching everything yet invisible, unheard and un-acknowledged. It needed to have a light shone upon it. Now it can dissipate.

Ben Shapiro was born under the Hollywood sign. His dad is a film composer. His mother runs business affairs for several reality shows. Ben used to think that the claim of anti-conservative discrimination was "overblown and self-serving," put out there by the sour-grapes-ers who just "couldn't hack it in Hollywood" … until it happened to him.

Ben explains, "(Aaron Spelling's former partner) Leonard Goldberg ("Blue Bloods") suggested I write a pilot for him based on Harvard Law. I did that, and then found an agent. The agent was excited about working together. About three weeks later, he called me and told me he didn't know if he could represent me. I asked why, and he told me that one of his agents had sent off my stuff to a producer in town. The producer had Googled me, found my politics and told the agent that he would never work with someone of my political persuasion."

How did Ben get taped interviews with over 70 Hollwood big shots? He called them. He told them his name, Shapiro, and that he graduated from Harvard Law School. He used buzz words like "social justice" and "diversity." He wore a baseball cap. They assumed he was a leftie. They relaxed and told the truth.

Go to Ben's website to hear some of these Hollywood insiders incriminate themselves.

Is there any hope? Yes. Ben says "conservatives must enter the culture war. … It will take cash and talent." Although the left has 60 years on us in TV, "the process is not irreversible. As the television industry morphs into an Internet/television cyborg, the market is beginning to open for non-liberal creators and executives."

The raunchy 'real' world ~ By Patrice Lewis

If people could only stop bathing in the river of slime issuing from mainstream media sources and Hollywood, they might see there's a whole, huge subculture of teens who are growing up with old-fashioned virtues intact. This subculture is not only alive and well, it's thriving and growing.
In this column, Patrice Lewis discusses the criticism of her and others that are raising their kids with "morals and values that keep our children out of the 'real' world." Patrice explains that there are many parents like her, where their children are homeschooled, and many more are sent to private and parochial schools and that don't consume the junk on the idiot box, where "Hollywood is shockingly obsessed with sexualizing teen girls."

And who are the people that criticize Patrice and parents like her? It's those who are "bathing in the river of slime issuing from mainstream media sources and Hollywood," and who are "the useful idiots who watch" that "will continue to criticize those of us who raise our sons and daughters away from the 'real' world." Can or will the trend toward the raunchy "real" world continue? Patrice believes that it "is the time-tested, morally sound principles by which Real America raises its kids that are 'real'."

The raunchy 'real' world
PATRICE LEWIS

You know, the older I get, the more I'm convinced I live in a fantasy world.

In this cheery little artificial la-la land where I reside, boys are young knights-in-training and girls are virtuous and feminine. Children do not long for new and creative ways to self-destruct, and they have no wish to create havoc in their parent's home. And when everyone grows up, they court, get married and have babies (in that order).

People sometimes (with a straight face, mind you) accuse my husband and I of "depriving" or even "abusing" our children by homeschooling them in a rural setting. How, they wonder, will our girls ever adapt to the (cough) "real" world if they don't have the socialization opportunities of school? What do you mean we don't have television reception in our home? How will our kids ever learn what kind of behavior is expected of them unless they watch such intellectually lofty programs as "Glee" and "Gossip Girl"?

The implication is because our children are growing up valuing modesty, self-control, honor and self-respect, they are maladjusted little twits who will end up as drooling misguided troglodytes with the collective social skills of, say, wood lice.

Then I see a television program and realize why some people think our parental methods are destructive. We're raising our girls far, far away from the "real" world.

In the "real" world of modern America, girls are raunchy sexual creatures whose sole purpose from toddler-hood on up is to dress provocatively, adorn their bodies with tattoos, piercings and make-up, and whose sole goal in life, apparently, is to find out how many boys they can bed.

Needless to say, boys respond to this blatant invitation with vulgar abandon. They no longer need to respect girls since, after all, literally nothing stands between a boy's hormonal urges and completion of the act except for the girl's virtue. Meaning, nothing.

As a result, courtship has become a prehistoric joke, marriage is frequently optional, and no one waits to have babies any more. (And it's often insured that pregnancy does not result in a live baby at all.) When a school cancels a formal dance due to slow ticket sales because vulgar "grind" dancing was banned, you know things are bad. (Good for the principal for sticking to his guns.)

Since art reflects life, television shows celebrate these new standards. Or does life reflect art? Do television shows draw their inspiration from peoples' behavior, or do people behave the way they do because of what they see on television? It's a circular argument. (See Argument, circular.) But either way, the result is coarseness and vulgarity as the new norm.

Planned Parenthood, Marxism, and Hollywood: How the Left corrupted morality with the Free Love Movement

By John Kubicek

May 16, 2010

I was just about to post a column in this space written by Patrice Lewis called, "Keep your pants on, America!", but I made a decision not to. The reason for that decision was not because I was uncomfortable with the content and subject of the article - or that you might be - but because I thought of a different angle to take. (Well, Patrice, at least you inspired me tonight!)

It was a youtube video that Patrice had linked to in her column that I found to be very disturbing. Again, it wasn't because of the content or subject, but because it reminded me of who Planned Parenthood is. Before I explain further, you need to see this video. (Parents: Please divert the attention of any small children elsewhere before you begin watching this):

Video provided by cbrsw

Now, if you noticed in the video as I did, the characters obviously representing pro-life Christians are depicted as sinister, and they display their protests against abortion and ministry against promiscuity as being evil. Keep in mind that the cartoon in this video was apparently used by a Planned Parenthood affiliate in San Francisco, CA. for "educational" (propaganda) purposes.

Here is a brief snippet about Planned Parenthood from Wikipedia that I found:

Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA), commonly shortened to Planned Parenthood, is the U.S. affiliate of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) and one of its larger members. PPFA provides reproductive health and maternal and child health services. Planned Parenthood Action Fund, Inc. (PPAF) is a related organization that lobbies the U.S. political system for pro-choice legislation, comprehensive sex education, and access to affordable health care. (Emphasis my own)
Planned Parenthood was initially formed in 1916 by Margaret Sanger. Sanger "was an American birth control activist, advocate of eugenics, and the founder of the American Birth Control League." Her religion? Atheist. But get this: "Sanger was also an avowed socialist, blaming what she saw as the evils of contemporary capitalism for the unsatisfactory conditions of young white working-class women. Her very personal views on this issue are evident in the last pages of "What Every Girl Should Know."

Now, I don't know about you, but when I hear that somebody is a socialist, the chances are, I figure that they are also Marxist. This would most certainly apply to Sanger, I believe. And, here is why:

Marxist feminism is a sub-type of feminist theory which focuses on the dismantling of capitalism as a way to liberate women. Marxist feminism states that private property, which gives rise to economic inequality, dependence, political confusion and ultimately unhealthy social relations between men and women, is the root of women's oppression. (Emphasis my own)
And if that didn't convince you, what I also found on Wikipedia was this:

Radical feminism, which emerged in the 1970s, also took issue with Marxist feminism. Radical feminist theorists stated that modern society and its constructs (law, religion, politics, art, etc) are the product of males and therefore have a patriarchal character. According to those who subscribe to this view, the best solution for women's oppression would be to treat patriarchy not as a subset of capitalism but as a problem in its own right (see identity politics). Thus eliminating women's oppression means eliminating male domination in all its forms. (Emphasis my own)
So, basically, what the Marxists want people to believe is that women must not be oppressed by men... They must be "empowered." And here is what Patrice Lewis wrote about that in her column referred to above:

"For the first time in human history," says Letty Cottin Pogrebin, a founding editor of Ms. Magazine, "a woman could control her sexuality and determine her readiness for reproduction by swallowing a pill smaller than an aspirin. Critics warned that the Pill would spawn generations of loose, immoral women; what it spawned was generations of empowered women who are better equipped to make rational choices about their lives."

Empowered, that's it. Women acting like rutting cattle are empowered.
Okay, I believe that I've shown the relationship between Planned Parenthood and Marxism, but what does Hollywood have to do with this? Well, let's put it this way. When I was young child, born in the early 1950's, I loved the movies at the theatre. Disney movies were of course my favorite, but anything with John Wayne or movies like "The Longest Day" (war movies) were always a winner in my eyes. They were wholesome. And even "PT-109" about John F. Kennedy's experience in WWII was brilliant, and made him appear to be a hero (in contrast to John Kerry's military experience). That movie was in stark contrast to the promiscuity that ended up being what defined President Kennedy.

And it wasn't just at the movie theaters that things were so wholesome in my early childhood years. The television shows were pretty conservative at that time, too. The Mom and Dad (husband and wife, not just man and woman) slept in separate beds.

And then, in the mid-60's, it happened. Hollywood became "Hollyweird." Movies began to change ever so slightly. It took a while longer for TV to make the leap, but that was because of FCC regulations. Well, anyway, my parents didn't allow me to even go to James Bond (with Sean Connery)
movies in my pre-teenage years. I was around 14 or 15 when I finally got to go to one of them, which was "Thunderball." Looking back, I can see why they didn't allow me to go, and I am surprised they ever allowed me to see one. Anyway, James Bond was always able to "get the girl" and though they didn't show any sexual scenes, you pretty much had an idea of what was going to happen or did happen, if you get my drift. And here is the thing about that: James Bond wasn't getting it on with a spouse, but always single, attractive women. Darn that Hollywood, they were starting the movement towards more and more risque flicks in a very covert way... Though body parts weren't displayed, it was the idea that sex with strangers was now okay.

It wasn't long before I had my driver's license, and was able to borrow Dad's car so I could go to the drive-in theaters with my buddies. It all started so innocent, as one of the first movies I went to with my friends was "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly." Sure, a little violent, as were the Dirty Harry movies, but Clint Eastwood always got the bad guys. No problem. But it wasn't long before other movies that weren't quite so wholesome became more of the norm at the drive-ins. Oh, wow, those films that showed bare breasts soon became the biggest hits among the teenage boys.

All the while, there was another social change going on. Viet Nam, which inspired The Hippie movement. The flower children. The love child. The psychedelic painted up VW buses. Communes. Free love. Yes, all of this was happening about the same time that Hollywood began to make movies that didn't exactly portray Christian and family values. And do you think that maybe the leftists/progressives/Socialists in Hollywood didn't influence the change? Ya think? After all, don't forget, Hollyweird IS on the "left coast."

And now we see what the progressive social changes have done for America, and the world, for that matter. A high divorce rate. Millions upon millions of abortions. Women with babies and never in wedlock. A lack of morals. Bill Clinton... But I digress.

The Marxists have all but arrived at their ultimate end game. They now have their guy in the Oval Room, a Marxist and his minions running the White House and at least half of Congress, not to mention all of the progressive bureaucrats entrenched in the government system, many of whom are unionized. And don't forget the indoctrination system of the public schools, where there is all of that "sexual education" going on.

But now, here is the question I really wanted to ask while in the process of writing this: Is there any way that we can go back to how it used to be? Yeah, I know, that's a pretty depressing thought, isn't it.

The United States: An oppressive hellhole? ~ By Patrice Lewis

Commentary from WorldNetDaily
Patrice Lewis By Patrice Lewis Posted: January 09, 2010 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2010 While Americans struggle with their day-to-day activities – working, raising families, coping with a bad economy, worrying about the future – a little-noticed but pervasive influence has invaded our hallowed institutions and poisoned the wells of our future. No, for once I'm not talking about the current administration's lunatic policies. I'm referring to institutes of higher learning. It has recently come to light that the University of Minnesota attempted to pass a policy requiring its teacher applicants to believe in various politically correct doctrines before they are granted admission. Applicants would be screened for their political and ideological views. Those with incorrect values and opinions would be "re-mediated," and degrees would be withheld from those who resist "re-education." And the University of Delaware's Office of Residential Life was caught requiring students to participant in a program that taught "all whites are racist." Graduates from these schools are then unleashed upon society – in the case of the University of Minnesota, into public school classrooms – to spread their message on the evils of "white privilege," the "myth of meritocracy," the "history of white racism" and the dangers of adopting "white, middle-class, Christian meanings and values." It seems that these universities are trying their best to convince students that this country is "an oppressive hellhole: racist, sexist and homophobic," in the words of Minneapolis Star-Tribune columnist Katherine Kersten. Translation: America sucks, and we're going to brainwash students into agreeing that America sucks. Hooray! Welcome to the Oppressive Hellhole of America. This message, naturally, is reinforced by Hollywood, which has teamed up with educators to air a series of History Channel programs that "rail against white oppressors, the free market and the military." In other words, leftists push to re-write history by applying their progressive, politically correct standards to the events of 200 years ago. It baffles me how people can so easily dismiss our history and tradition of opportunity with such contempt. Yes, of course we've had dark spots in our nation's past, but we're one of the few countries that have acknowledged those errors and attempted to correct and rectify them. Don't you find it amazing that those individuals who are the most privileged – educated, intelligent, influential, successful and (in the case of Hollywood) wealthy and famous – are the quickest to criticize the very country that afforded them the opportunities to use their gifts and get where they are today? These are the people that utilized the capitalist system to achieve their success. There is no government mandate that we must buy their product, see their movie, attend their concert or enroll in their universities. These people (who are so disgusted with America) have ironically made their mark in the world using the free-market principles and the constitutional freedoms they are guaranteed – the same principles they denigrate as evil. If we are such an oppressive hellhole, I challenge anyone – anyone at all – to explain to me how it is that penniless immigrants can come to this country with nothing more than the shirts on their backs, and within a decade become citizens, business owners, homeowners and begin putting their children through college without the use of social services or welfare. Opportunities in this country are open to everyone who works hard, lives frugally and puts their priorities in the right place. My immigrant grandparents did this. My three foreign-born sisters-in-law and their families did this. My husband and I did this. My ghetto-born friend in college did this (he's now a brain surgeon). I assume university educators and Hollywood stars have done this, too. People can't do these things in "oppressive hellholes." READ FULL STORY >

The pain – and penalty – of tolerance ~ By Pat Boone

Commentary from WorldNetDaily
Pat Boone By Pat Boone Posted: December 19, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009
"God who gave us life gave us liberty. And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are of the gift of God? That they are not to be violated But with His wrath? Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, that His justice cannot sleep forever." ~ Thomas Jefferson (The above remains engraved on his monument)
Tolerance is good. Intolerance is bad. Right? Not always, in either case. Consider. One of the primary definitions of tolerance is "the capacity to endure hardship and suffering." How long should a person put up with a toothache before he sees the dentist? How long should parents indulge a spoiled child in his tantrums? How long should a woman endure those strange pains in her stomach before she consults the right doctor? Is tolerance the answer for a spendthrift "shop-a-holic" wife? For a teenager obviously building a drug habit? For a husband and father addicted to gambling? What about that dad in the news recently who was notified by Verizon that his son had incurred over $20,000 in iPhone charges, and had to take a second mortgage on their home? Americans are, and have always been, a tolerant people. We're all aware that we're an ethnic mix, that most all our forbears emigrated to these shores from other countries, and that this is truly "the land of the free." Our Declaration of Independence underscores the intended, rightful equality of all our citizens, and the First Amendment to our Constitution guarantees that Congress shall make no laws restricting the free exercise of our religious beliefs, or of the press, or our freedom of speech. Though prejudices have still plagued our society, time and good will and earnest efforts have gradually dissolved much of the earlier intolerance toward others who believe, or act, or even look different than ourselves. So tolerance – accepting others for who they are, in spite of differences – has been a steady and worthy goal. Intolerance – rejecting and defaming, even persecuting others because of differences – has always seemed unworthy, even contemptible. So it's very troubling to see that, in some very real ways, our country is paying some painful prices for our very tolerance. And in some cases, "tolerance" may stem from apathy or ignorance, or just be an outward sign of non-involvement. Look at television today. Because of the steady, unrelenting pressure from writers, producers, network executives and ad agencies that are competing for the mighty dollars TV can produce, inviolate standards of decency we all lived by have all but vanished. Where even in movies, not long ago, a man and woman were not to be seen in the same bed, the soap operas on daytime TV apparently have been given the green light to portray just about any sexual or aberrant activity humans are capable of. The FCC has all but thrown up its hands and said "we give up; you people do whatever you want. Nobody seems to care." READ FULL STORY >

It's time for a war on leftist celebrities ~ By Erik Rush

Commentary from WorldNetDaily
Erik Rush By Erik Rush Posted: December 17, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 Last week, I had the extreme pleasure of attending a talk given by Cuban dissident Alina Fernández, the daughter of Fidel Castro. Ms. Fernández is, as are many Americans of Cuban descent, a vocal critic of her father's regime. Ms. Fernández delivered the account of Cuba's upheaval during the early 1960s with humanity and even humor. In fact, she used a great deal of humor throughout, from marriage having become "a sport" in Cuba, to Castro's program of distributing live chickens and pigs to apartment-dwellers to raise because the government couldn't afford to do so. I was awestruck that someone could retain a measure of sanity after having been forced to watch televised executions from the age of 4, let alone lightheartedly relate the story. Then, on Monday of this week, I read the review (if you will) of a recently aired television program entitled "The People Speak" by WND's Drew Zahn. I had seen the trailers for "The People Speak" (which aired on the History Channel on Dec. 13), so I knew it was going to be a boilerplate, Hollywood America-sucks-fest, but I had no idea until I read Zahn's edifying story how coordinated the larger effort of the Hollywood left – of which "The People Speak" was only a component – has become. I have come to the conclusion that it's pretty much time for a war on the Hollywood left and their political affiliates. I find it terribly sad that I must relegate individuals whose work I truly love to the class of those who, in a perfect America, would be in prison; thus, I surmise that many Americans, even those who understand how imperiled we are, might be reticent when it comes to this war of which I speak. These must come to realize that we have entered a time, similar to that during the Civil War, when "brother will be pitted against brother." Emotional affinity cannot be a factor; in truth, emotion has been one of the left's greatest weapons. Were a politician, or a group thereof, to pose as considerable a threat as do Hollywood elites, many Americans would mobilize to neutralize such a party or parties. This is, in fact, what the tea-party movement and the various 9/12 groups are all about. As outlined in Zahn's article, this putrid propaganda piece ("The People Speak") was the brainchild of a long-established communist guru named Howard Zinn. On his website, the "acclaimed historian" has a photograph taken at the Lincoln Center premiere of "The People Speak" in New York. Grinning out at the camera along with Zinn is a handful of Hollywood celebs, millionaires all. Among them are Matt Damon, Viggo Mortensen, Danny Glover and Jasmine Guy (who held up a fist in a "power" salute). At least we know who to start with, now don't we? READ FULL STORY >

Found: Cure for the liberal virus ~ By Pat Boone

From WorldNetDaily
Pat BooneBy Pat Boone Posted: August 29, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 It was at the Hutchinson Cancer Clinic in Seattle, several years ago I first saw live cancer cells under a microscope. It's forever seared into my memory. Dr. Fred Hutchinson, founder of the renowned clinic and research center, was showing me around. He asked me, "Have you ever actually seen cancer cells? Would you like to?" Of course I said I would, and he took me into a laboratory and produced a number of slides. I looked through the high-powered microscope – and gazed at the embodiment of evil. Little black, iridescent globs, almost radiant from within, pulsing with menace, looking like miniaturized Darth Vaders from Star Wars. "Doc, this is ghastly, frightening! What in the world can fight these things?" I asked. "These," he said. And he stuck another slide under the scope. I was now looking at what looked like a bunch of Little Orphan Annie eyes, perfectly round clear circles. I asked, "These little circles, they can fight those evil blisters?" "They can absolutely lick cancer totally; I'll show you," he said. And he then showed me a progression of slides, and I'll never forget what I saw. In stages, those little circles – lymphocytes or white blood cells – moved up to and around the black blisters, completely covered them, and smothered them out of existence. They created an environment in which the cancer cells couldn't function, and they just dissolved. In my mind, I saw a subtitle tickertape moving under the slides, right out of the Bible: "Be not overcome with evil. Overcome evil with good." Doctor Fred went on. "Every body contracts cancer cells from time to time, unknown to the person. Most of the time, a healthy blood stream will deliver those lymphocytes where they're needed, and in sufficient quantity, and the cancer cells are dissolved and expelled. We here, and around the world, are trying to find the way to send that army of white blood cells to the places where the cancer cells have established a foothold. When we accomplish that, we'll lick cancer." I then asked the obvious question. "Do we know how cancer starts, where the black filthy cells come from?" And, as I remember it, he said the medical research world feels there's some virus that infects otherwise healthy cells, and chemically distorts or corrupts their DNA. Those cells go on living in the organ, and reproducing – but now controlled by a different blueprint. They have become outlaws, renegades and as they grow they disrupt the functions of the organ, contaminate and ruin it; and they can eventually spread through the body, using the bloodstream, and cause death. There's something fearfully like that going on in our body politic. A deadly virus has been loosed throughout our system, and wherever it takes root, it changes the functions and the structure that gave us the grandest, strongest, freest system of government the world has ever known. I call it liberalism. [READ ENTIRE COLUMN!]

Sean Penn: Shut up and act ~ Melanie Morgan

By Melanie Morgan © 2009 Today, I want to apologize for my fellow Marin County resident, Sean Penn. He appears to be off his meds (or on too many) and went on a rant that is common among too many pompous millionaire actors who confuse their vast sums of money with their ability for critical thinking. I hate to bring any serious attention to Penn, who is famous and wealthy because he is good at acting like a stoner ("Fast Times at Ridgemont High"), a thug ("Bad Boys") and a drug dealer ("The Falcon and the Snowman"). Given his much-publicized penchant for violence, I wonder how much "acting" he really does when he plays these parts. But Penn's rant needs attention because others who confuse celebrity with intellect might believe his socialist/commie rubbish. Sean penned his latest blather, pretending to be a serious commentator, this week. It was posted at the Huffington Post, where the world's leftist vipers go to spew their inane ideas that are fit for a rubber room in which their favorite dictators (Hugo Chavez, Saddam Hussein and the Castro brothers) are housed. Miss California gets backing of lawmaker ... from Alabama ~ By Chelsea Schilling

While many in Hollywood ridicule her, scores of Americans are now applauding Miss California's stance against same-sex marriage – including one Alabama lawmaker who drafted a resolution supporting her. At Sunday night's Miss USA pageant, Carrie Prejean was asked the one question she dreaded most, and her answer brought her both scorn and praise. From the article:
But while many Hollywood actresses stand by Hilton and condemn the beauty queen for her beliefs, one lawmaker is has drafted a resolution in support of the courageous contestant. State Rep. Jay Love, R-Montgomery, told the Montgomery Advertiser that there are those "telling people what they can believe and what they can say," which he believes is wrong. He said Prejean is being ridiculed and punished for refusing to support a lifestyle that goes against her beliefs. "I don't believe that's right," Love said. He said he applauds her for not compromising her beliefs by giving a politically correct answer. The bill was introduced Tuesday and every member of the House Republican Caucus and some Democrats have signed on as co-sponsors. However, State Rep. Alvin Holmes, D-Montgomery, said the resolution cannot pass because he claims Miss California is associated with right-wing organizations and supports discrimination. [Emphasis mine] "I am not for the Alabama Legislature honoring her in any kind of way," Holmes said. [Continue reading]

Stephen Baldwin Slams Hollywood

Baldwin stated a fact that says, "Family programming and animated films make more money." When it comes to the violent and vulgar content, Baldwin Says; "Hollywood just stands around and says, ‘Oh well, the parents are responsible for whether or not those kids should watch that content.’ That’s just not true,” Baldwin insists.
By: Rick Pedraza Actor and media personality Stephen Baldwin says the “vulgar and offensive” content in Hollywood productions is one reason why the United States now has such high rates of unemployment, suicide and teen pregnancy. “The fact that they churn out more content that is gratuitously violent, sexual and vulgar, when in fact more family programming and animated films make more money – there’s you’re agenda problem,” Baldwin tells CNS News. Baldwin, attending last week’s Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington to sign copies of his new book, “The Death and Life of Gabriel Phillips,” tells CNS News that Hollywood produces too many anti-family films while pro-family films are the ones that sell, and that Hollywood is wrong for saying it’s “solely up to the parents” to control what their children watch.
