Obama: "I Can Do Whatever I Want" ~ By Erika Andersen

President Obama has shown no qualms about taking unilateral actions that bypass Congress and ignore important separation of powers principles that are an essential safeguard of our liberty, said Heritage’s John Malcolm, director of the Edwin Meese III Center for Legal and Judicial Studies.

Here’s a video clip of Obama’s remark at Monticello:

Recent meme based on Obama's words,
"I can do whatever I want"

While some great new "hilarious" memes are being created in regard to Obama's now famous words, "I can do whatever I want," we must try to try to understand how dangerous this President is becoming. The next thing we'll hear is Michelle Obama saying, "Let them eat cake," and we know what happened shortly after another tyrant's spouse (Marie Antoinette) supposedly said that (but may not have). But that being said, the memes regarding this tyrannical sounding statement heard in the video (above) are a good thing, as we know the memes get around quickly - as in virally - and even people who have previously voted for Obama are starting to get uncomfortable.  It just seems a little like the Narcissist-in-chief has started to go rogue, and NOBODY should be comfortable with what the President has been saying.

And most of all, We the People need to start electing representatives and Senators that will actually mention Obama's abuse of power and attempt to eliminate Congress and the courts from the restraints of his executive power.  Until then, we'll just get more of the same.  I sometimes wonder if the current Congress would go so far as to repeal the 22nd Amendment, allowing Obama to become President for life.  I'm just sayin'...

President Obama put it bluntly: “I can do whatever I want.

Yesterday, while visiting with French President François Hollande at Monticello, Obama made the off-hand comment.

The remark comes in the wake of other recent statements, including the President’s comment that all he needs is “a pen and a phone” to get things done without Congress.
