WIFLI Briefing for Aug 30, 2012 - The story I was almost afraid to tell

Glenn Beck was saying on his radio show yesterday (Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012) that we don't need to be talking about all the negative things about Barack Obama, because we already know what and who he is. Instead, we should talk about the positive vision of the GOP and how it will bring about the survival and revival of this great country and bring about prosperity.

I do agree with Glenn to a point, especially when it concerns the candidates in particular. I want to see the GOP candidates sway away from the negative attacks, and concentrating on the positive message of what America can become with the right (as in "Right") people in office. However, for the New Media, it may need to be a different story.

There is no doubt in my mind that the positive message of what the Republican candidates Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan have to offer must be told, and that we will do. However, if there is anything that President Obama and his administration are doing that will replace our freedom with Marxist tyranny, that information must also be told - by somebody!

You obviously know that when it comes to reporting on anything negative about the President, you won't hear it on the mainstream media, and sometimes, not even on Fox News. So, where are you going to find the information about Obama that just might be a slight bit disturbing to those of us that love America and prefer freedom?

There is a very large contrast - a chasm - between what the Democrats and Republicans stand for.  There is no doubt that in this election, it is extremely important to make sure that people are aware of the differences between the candidates.  Really, would all the positive things in the world that could be told about the GOP candidates Romney and Ryan make a difference in the election, if there is no awareness of what the alternative is?

Seriously, where would we be right now if not for the patriots amongst us having the courage to confront the terrifying agenda that the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave has in mind for this country?  Dinesh D'Souza just happens to be one of those brave souls that does so:

Welcome to this edition of Time 2 Escape WIFLI Briefing!

What is WIFLI?
You may be wondering what the acronym "WIFLI" means. I started out by calling these issues the Time 2 Escape Daily, but that didn't work out very well. I quickly learned that putting these issues together on a daily basis was a task I was unable to accomplish. To replace "Daily" in the title, I borrowed the acronym WIFLI, which literally means "When I Feel Like It." Putting together a post on this blog WIFLI works much better for my schedule, and for the higher quality of each issue that is eventually published!

FAIR USE NOTICE: This edition of the Time 2 Escape WIFLI Briefing may contain copyrighted material. Such material is made available for educational purposes only. This constitutes a 'fair use' of any such copyrighted material as provided for in Title 17 U.S.C. section 106A-117 of the U.S. Copyright Law.

So, can anything be added to what Dinesh D'Souza has to say? How about something that is so terrifying, that to ignore the reality would be to seal our ultimate doom? All of the mainstream media will ignore this story. We know how people were treated that have doubted the eligibility of Obama, being labeled as "birthers."

However, the following story and video tells a truth about what may be the making of a tyrant, somebody that will do whatever it takes to stay in power. It may be an ugly truth that many of us will disregard, and mostly because the detractors will do their best to disparage the info warriors in order to discredit the story.

It's a piece of the puzzle that must be included, and there is no doubt that I was almost afraid to include the story that I want to share with you today. However, I'm just not in the mood to wimp out on bringing you this information. It is going to take the demise of this country and our freedom in order for a true globalist plot to succeed, and I'm wondering if President Obama is desperate enough to go this far. I'm just sayin'...

DHS Source: “It’s Going Hot”- Obama False Flag Coming
From Infowars.com ~ By Doug Hagmann ~ August 29, 2012

“It’s going hot.” Those were the ominous opening and closing words from my source inside the Department of Homeland Security in two separate contacts we had within the last 72 hours. Readers to this website and listeners to my radio program know this source as “Rosebud,” a source with access to high levels within the DHS administration.

Marco Rubio and eligibility ~ By Robert Klein Engler

Robert Klein Engler brings up some very intriguing points in this column regarding Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) and the issue of his Constitutional eligibility to even serve as Vice President of the United States. Because of the questionable eligibility issue regarding the "natural born citizen" requirement in Article 2, Section 1 of the Constitution of the United States, Rush Limbaugh may not have had it right when he "endorsed" Rubio.

Engler offers very plausible reasons why Marco Rubio can't get the VP slot on the GOP ticket. But what makes this commentary really worth reading is that Engler provokes some thoughtful consideration regarding the eligibility issue. What if there is a potentially great GOP candidate on the 2012 ticket, like Rubio, that may not meet the same eligibility standards that the "birthers" are saying that Obama doesn't meet? What happens then?

Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL)
Sen. Marco Rubio's star is rising in the Republican Party. There is talk he may be on the ticket as a candidate for vice president once the party picks its candidate for president. If it's up to the birthers and the Country Club Republicans, Rubio's place on the ticket may not materialize.

For years, the birthers have been treated with disdain by the left and mainstream media. Part of this disdain is generated by fringe elements in the birther community. If the media can overlook these fringe elements, they will see that many birthers are loyal Americans who simply want the U.S. Constitution to be respected. In short, the birther argument against Obama and possibly Sen. Rubio is a constitutional argument.

There are many in the birther camp who argue that when the U.S. Constitution says being a "natural born citizen" (Article II, Section 1) is one qualification to be president and vice president, it means that both parents of the candidate must have been U.S. citizens when the candidate for president was born.

They argue that to be a natural born citizen of the United States requires not only birth on U.S. soil but two parents as U.S. citizens as well. This argument is not spelled out in the Constitution but is an interpretation of the unique phrase "natural born citizen." Nevertheless, there are valid and strong arguments in favor of the two-parent position. Writing in WND, Drew Zahn sums up these arguments.

At the end of his summation, Zahn adds, "The U.S. Supreme Court, for its part, has admitted the Constitution does not define what is meant by 'natural born citizen' and hasn't offered a ruling to solve the dispute."

The very fact that the high court has not defined what "natural born citizen" means is why Marco Rubio will not be a candidate for vice president. Nobody wants to raise this issue in court, let alone Republicans or Democrats.

Guess what prompted Obama to release birth certificate!

But the timing raised questions from the Post.

"Why, for example, did Obama officials wait so long to tamp down rumors that have dogged the president since the 2008 presidential campaign? Why did they release the forms on the very day that Trump is making his first visit to New Hampshire, and during a week when Obama is slated to make other major announcements about his national security team?" the newspaper wrote.

While the White House denied any connection, the sequence reveals that following weeks of discussions by Trump, on April 20 "Where's the Birth Certificate? The Case That Barack Obama Is Not Eligible to Be President" skyrocketed to the No. 1 spot among all books on Amazon.com, the next day Corley was authorized to find the document and on April 22 Obama signed a letter to state officials making the formal request for help.

Dan Pfeiffer, White House communications director, said the administration considered the issue closed.

First, it was The Donald (Donald Trump) that started getting media attention by requesting the President to show his long-form birth certificate. That went on for just about a month, and the President did nothing. The Donald has now been claiming that he is responsible for getting the President to do something, like showing the birth certificate. REALLY?  NO! I don't think so!

I think this story at WND.com is much more accurate than Donald Trump's pumped up ego trying to take the credit. Since Donald was on "The View," it had been around a month. But, when the Drudge Report mentioned the book, "Where's the Birth Certificate? The Case That Barack Obama Is Not Eligible to Be President," and it went to #1 of ALL books at Amazon, in less than a week later, Barack Obama is releasing that long-lost long-form birth certificate from the State of Hawaii (you know, the one that even Hawaii's Gov. Neal Abercrombie couldn't locate). I'm just sayin'...

Guess what prompted Obama to release birth certificate!
Request to Hawaii came day after Corsi book hit No. 1

WASHINGTON – Barack Obama finally has released his long-form birth certificate from Hawaii, and a Washington Post report today explains how the decision came about because of the president's distress that questions about his eligibility were dominating news cycles and his important messages were getting no traction.

So it happened on April 21, White House Counsel Robert Bauer told Anne Kornblut at the Post, that he asked Obama's outside counsel, Judy Corley of Perkins Coie, to contact the Hawaii Department of Health to find out what would be needed to get the copies of the birth certificate.

That, of course, was less than a full day after the definitive book on presidential eligibility, "Where's the Birth Certificate? The Case That Barack Obama Is Not Eligible to Be President," was featured on the Drudge Report and rocketed to No. 1 on Amazon – weeks before it even is due to the published.

The in-depth investigation of Obama is by two-time No. 1 New York Times best-selling author Jerome Corsi, and the Drudge Report declared, "The street date is a LONG month away, and author Jerome Corsi, the man who torpedoed John Kerry's presidential dreams with SWIFT BOAT, has gone underground and is holding his new findings this close."

Drudge wondered then whether the president's attorneys will "attempt to interfere with the book's distribution?" and whether the book will "finally – once and for all – put an end to the growing controversy?"

The Post reported the president's concerns had been raised when he was interviewed by ABC's George Stephanopoulos – and he expected a discussion of financial issues.

Instead, he was peppered with questions about his eligibility controversy – an issue that possible 2012 GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump had elevated from being a topic of strong interest across America to the mainstream issue of the 2012 race.

Trump had consulted repeatedly with researchers assembled by WND to investigate the Obama eligibility issue in his campaign.

The Post reported that suddenly there was a "growing sense within the White House that the mainstream media was perpetuating a dangerous myth."

Obama, described by the Post as "incredulous," was warned that the questions might even rise to confront him. So it was on April 19, the newspaper said, Obama asked about getting a copy of his form.

"'It wasn't one specific thing' that tipped the scales, a senior administration official said. But Trump was a major factor, by the White House's own admission, as the real estate mogul's near-constant interviews extended a discussion that the president found 'frivolous,'" the newspaper said.

Suddenly, Obama was the driving force behind getting the documentation.

A few thoughts from a 'birther' ~ By Craige McMillan

Finally, the long-form birth certificate does nothing to quell the natural-born-citizen issue, which our Founding Fathers found important enough to write into the Constitution. If the reports of the senior Obama's British citizenship are true, Obama would not be natural-born – and would be unable to legally hold the office of president. That will be a more esoteric, but none the less important, argument. Most of the population, however, does not likely care.  [emphasis my own]

I am really ticked this morning! Grrrr! No, I'm not upset with Craige McMillan. In fact, I loved Craige's column! He had a great way of writing a few of the things I was thinking, particularly in the paragraph in the excerpt above.

I had just read and posted another column here on this blog this morning that says it all. In "Obama challengers: Doc proves president ineligible," it was thoroughly explained why the President's long-form birth certificate (called a Certificate of Live Birth in Hawaii) may end up providing the proof that Barack Obama is not constitutionally eligible to be President of the United States. It may all come down to what "natural-born citizen" means.

Then what has me so agitated? Is it the fact that all day yesterday, and especially this morning, I kept hearing news readers on radio and TV exclaiming what a relief it was that Obama's citizenship is now proven? Here is a summary of the kind of things that I heard: He was born in Hawaii. No question now. The story is over. There's nothing to see here. We need to move on now so that we don't distract the President (from his golf games) with this silliness... yaddi yaddi yadda... But everyone of those so-called "journalists" neglected to mention that many constitutional scholars believe that a "natural-born citizen," as the Founders intended it to mean, required that BOTH parents were U.S. citizens. Oops!

Craige obviously hits the nail on the head when he writes, "Most of the population, however, does not likely care." This is what happens when the citizens are being indoctrinated to ignore the intricacies of the Constitution of the United States.

I have one last portion of my rant that I hate to even mention, but I must. On Glenn Beck's radio program this morning, Glenn, Pat and Stu were ridiculing all of the various conspiracy theories regarding the Obama birth certificate. But never did they mention that in the minds of some, there is still that question of Obama's Constitutional eligibility; not because of the birth certificate itself, but because of that pesky "natural-born citizen" clause in Article II, Section 1. The intent of the Founders which Glenn and his staff have always paid great attention to in the past was completely avoided in this case. I just can not explain that kind of indifference - or negligence - on the part of somebody like Glenn Beck who normally pays so much attention to details. It has unleashed my deepest concerns of a vast conspiracy. I don't have any other way to explain it.  I'm just sayin'...

The release yesterday of Mr. Obama's long-form birth certificate is a welcome development for America. I think, however, that a few cautions are in order before we put the "birther" issue to bed.

First, I believe this shows that Donald Trump was correct in his strategic assessment that Obama had planned to use the birth certificate issue as a distraction during the 2012 election campaign. Trump's efforts have denied him that ability.

Second, Trump has shown that even an issue that socialist big-media have delivered last rites over can be dug up and resurrected from the old ink-drum burial ground and brought to the forefront of public opinion by a prominent individual. This is a real slap in the face to the GOP establishment in our nation's capital. It shows that the tea party must continue to bring challengers forward during the primaries to remove the fossilized deadwood in the GOP.

Third, I think that, given the level of deceit shown by Mr. Obama to date, the physical birth certificate needs to be inspected by a panel of forensic document experts who visit it in its Hawaiian archive home. I would suggest that this be done on a live television broadcast, without edits. I say this only because Mr. Obama has had two years to use some of the best document forgers in the world (if our intelligence agencies still hold that distinction) to produce a long-form birth certificate. Yet he will still have found it difficult to alter the physical record that exists in Hawaii's archives.

The Donald: Doing the job the media won't do ~ By Larry Elder

No, the real story about Trump isn't Trump.

It's the pass given Obama by the media. Whether it's regarding Obama's birthplace, whether Obama personally heard Wright's racist and anti-Semitic sermons, or whether unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers wrote Obama's first book, Obama manages to avoid careful examination from the adoring media.

Trump would not be relevant – if the media had been.

What Larry Elder says about The Donald (Donald Trump) is important for Republicans to know about. Larry does not think that The Donald will try to run for President. There are just too many things that The Donald has in his past for him to even think about it. And as Rush Limbaugh said, Trump needs to be schooled on Conservatism

The good news regarding the ongoing Donald Trump saga is that he has shown that the American people have had a desire to know more about Obama, about his missing birth certificate, and more, and the media completely looked the other way when it came to digging in to Obama's past. And now, Americans are becoming aware of what the media never bothered to mention.

Donald Trump isn't going to run for president.

He is rich, enjoys himself, says bold and often stupid things, trades his wife in for a younger model every few years and calls Rosie O'Donnell a "big fat pig." What's not to like?

But President The Donald Trump? Really?!

He couldn't take the scrutiny. Given his swashbuckling life and the media's heightened scrutiny of things Republican, Trump would spend his entire campaign putting out fires. Whether it be shady-side-of-the-line business deals, "bimbo eruptions," tax shenanigans, enemies looking to get even, or Lord knows what else, he'd barely have time to round up enough B-listers to keep "Celebrity Apprentice" afloat.

Then there is the matter of his ideology – as in, what exactly is it? Trump has alternately called Jimmy Carter the worst president ever, then George W. Bush the worst president ever, and now Barack Obama the worst president ever. This nouveau "conservative Republican" supported "universal health care"; advocated a tax on the rich; stood pro-choice on abortion; supported Democrats like Hillary Clinton and Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y.; called George W. Bush "evil"; proposed a 25 percent tariff on Chinese imports; and has contributed more money to Democrats than to Republicans. Whew!

Like Ross Perot – an earlier rich, thin-skinned businessman-turned-presidential-aspirant – Trump barks out orders, says jump and expects people to do so. Doesn't work that way in politics. Try jabbing an index finger at an obnoxious New York Times reporter or a pesky rival Republican and saying, "You're fired!"

Nor will he run as an independent – as he once threatened and then un-threatened to do. An indie candidacy would siphon votes away from the Republican candidate, requiring Trump to spend the rest of his life deflecting the blame for Obama's re-election. No fun being the next Ralph Nader, who, after costing Al Gore Florida and the presidency in '00, can't get a table at Chuck E. Cheese's.

This brings us to the only reason to pay attention to The Donald. He's turning over rocks the media can't even locate with a guide dog and a treasure map.

Glenn Beck fans doubt his take on eligibility: A flashback from Sep 2010

The issue of Obama's birth certificate is key to the multitude of questions that have been raised about whether he is eligible to occupy the Oval Office. The nation's founders, in the Constitution, imposed a special requirement for the person who is president, that of being a "natural born citizen."

Now, is this total irony?! I was perusing through WND's archive of eligibility stories.  In a flashback from September of 2010, we find out that some of Glenn Beck's biggest fans did not go along with Glenn's assessment of the Obama eligibility issue. Oh, did I mention that Rush Limbaugh has just recently faced criticism from his fan base for the same reason?

There has to be a reason why Donald Trump was bold enough to discuss the eligibility issue and seemed to stay popular, if not actually grow in popularity, while Beck and Limbaugh received guff from their own fans for NOT discussing the story! Could that be a clue that the American people actually want to see the proof of Obama's eligibility? You have to wonder. I'm just sayin'...

WASHINGTON – Glenn Beck may pooh-pooh the issue of Barack Obama's presidential eligibility, but some of his most loyal fans are emphatic in demanding, "Where's the Birth Certificate?"

GLENN BECK
On Beck's own website, a thread started today shows those concerned about Obama's unwillingness to document that he is a "natural-born" citizen, as the Constitution requires, running 9-to-1 over those who believe it's a nonissue.

At 2:11 p.m., a reader posted a comment on his website, The Blaze, about Democratic House Majority Whip James Clyburn's warning that, if the GOP takes control of Congress in January, it will issue subpoenas regarding Obama's eligibility.

The original post included a video clip of Beck and guest Dinesh D'Souza dismissing the eligibility issue.

But, within hours, more than 100 comments had been posted, and, according to WND's tally, 45 of those comments questioned Obama's eligibility, and only five supported Beck's position.

The remaining posts commented on Clyburn or other issues.

Donald Trump: Obama presidency possibly illegal

"He spent millions of dollars trying to get away from this issue. Millions of dollars in legal fees trying to get away from this issue. I brought it up just routinely. All of a sudden a lot of facts are emerging, and I'm starting to wonder myself whether he was born in this country," Trump said on "Fox & Friends."

Video provided by FoxNewsInsider on Mar 28, 2011

"This guy either has a birth certificate or he doesn't," he added. "I didn't think it was such a big deal, but I will tell you it's turning out to be a very big deal. Because people now are calling me from all over saying please don't give up on this issue.

In all the time that WorldNetDaily.com and it's founder, editor and CEO, Joseph Farah, has been covering the story of Obama's birth certificate, there has never been this much media attention, especially by the Fox News Channel. Now that Donald Trump has stepped into the mix, mostly beginning with his appearance on "The View," it is a whole new ball game. For whatever reason, Donald doesn't seem to be getting ridiculed, at least on Fox News, for asking just what Joseph Farah has been wanting to know all along: "Where's the birth certificate?"

Donald Trump: Obama presidency possibly illegal
'To be honest with you, I want him to have a birth certificate'

By Joe Kovacs

Billionaire developer and possible Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is now suggesting Barack Obama's presidency could be "illegal" if legitimate proof is not provided demonstrating the commander in chief is indeed a "natural born citizen" of the U.S.

Trump's use of the "I" word came last night during a phone interview with Greta Van Susteren of the Fox News Channel.

"To be honest with you, I want him to have a birth certificate," Trump said, "because [otherwise] that would mean that his presidency was, I guess you'd have to say, illegal. You have to be born in the United States. I hope that he was born in the United States. I hope – but I want to get rid of the word hope, I want to know for sure – I hope that he was born in the United States and I hope this doesn't become a big issue."

Video provided by BirtherReportDotCom on Mar 28, 2011

Trump defended so-called "birthers," explaining, "They just want to see the president was born in this country."

He also called into question Hawaii's Democratic Gov. Neil Abercrombie for suggesting he remembered when Obama was born nearly a half century ago.

"I'll bet he didn't even know the parents 50 years ago," Trump said. "I think it's absolutely insane. What he's doing is taking a bullet for the party by making a statement that, 'I remember.'"

Trump also wondered why no doctors or nurses have come forward to announce their presence at Obama's birth.

"Here's the president of the United States, and no doctor, no nurse, nobody's come forward saying, 'I delivered that beautiful baby.'"

Donald wars with Whoopi over Obama's eligibility

Trump noted his skepticism of evidence proffered thus far about Obama's life history, stating, "I grew up in New York. Wall Street was a big part. I have seen fraud and I have seen scandal and I have seen a lot of things that people don't see. I've seen people take a $100 bill and make it a $1,000,000 bill. The point is, I can't rely on some newspaper [birth announcement] that they showed [to prove the president's eligibility]. I want him to show his birth certificate!"

"There's something on his birth certificate he doesn't want to show?" an incredulous Barbara Walters asked. "That's a terrible thing to say."

Okay, I'm not a big fan of Donald Trump. And I had to try very hard to keep from gagging when watching the clip from "The View" in the video below. (And I have never figured out why anyone would want to be on "The View" and having a bunch of screaming liberal women attacking the guest all at the same time. But that's just me.) But, the clip is priceless! Donald really knew how to push their buttons!

Oh, how it was so predictable that the ladies on "The View," being predominately liberal leftists (except for perhaps Elisabeth Hasselbeck), would go so ballistic, especially Whoopi, when Donald brought up the concerns about Obama's birth certificate. As you will see in the video below, they refuse to believe that their Messiah would have anything to hide. And Whoopi seems to think that if Obama was white, or if it was George W. Bush, nobody would be questioning his eligibility.... You get the idea. All "The Donald" wants Obama to do is show his birth certificate in order to quell the questioning from the "birthers."

Trump: 'There's something on that birth certificate that he doesn't like'

Billionaire developer and potential Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump got into a heated war of words on national television today as he questioned why Barack Obama has not revealed his long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate to help demonstrate his eligibility for the presidency.

"I want him to show his birth certificate! There's something on that birth certificate that he doesn't like," said Trump on ABC's "The View."

The comment enraged co-host Whoopi Goldberg, who fired back, "I think that's the biggest pile of dog mess I've heard in ages. It's not 'cause he's black is it?"

"It has nothing to do with that," said Trump.

Goldberg interjected, "Because I've never heard any white president asked to be shown the birth certificate. When you become a president of the United States of America, you know that he's American. I'm sorry, that's B.S."

Discussion of Obama's birth certificate can be seen in the following YouTube video:

Video provided by BirtherReportDotCom on Mar 23, 2011

"I really believe there's a birth certificate," Trump explained. "Why doesn't he show his birth certificate? And you know what? I wish he would. Because I think it's a terrible pall that's hanging over him. He should show his birth certificate.

"The other thing. If you go back to my first grade, my kindergarten, people remember me. Nobody from those early years remembers him. If you're going to be the president of the United States, it says very profoundly that you have to be born in this country."

Obama's laughing at you ~ By Joseph Farah

The Barack Obama SMIRK
You know who they're laughing at – you. You and the Constitution and the laws of the land. Because for people like Obama and Emanuel, the laws are not really laws. They are merely suggestions – or requirements for their opponents. They are not etched in stone. They change subject to their convenience. They are to be sidestepped and mocked. Obama and Emanuel and their allies are above the law. The law is just for rubes like you.

Do you get it?

Joseph Farah brings up some excellent points in this piece, and the main theme is that Obama is laughing at "us." And who do I or does Joseph mean by "us?" Not just any American. Probably not anyone involved with public employee unions or SEIU or ACORN. No. The disparagement is targeted on the American people in the Tea Party Movement, and especially those of us (which is the vast majority of the movement) that take the Constitution of the United States (COTUS) seriously! In other words, it isn't just the "birthers" that Obama and his cronies are laughing at. I guarantee that the marginalization and ridicule will continue to happen in 2012 during the election campaigns, and will be projected on whoever is chosen to be Obama's Republican opponent.

Toward the end of the excerpt below, Joseph lists the reasons that Obama refuses to release his birth certificate (and many other vital records that would help us determine who he really is). I would like to add three more possibilities to the list:

  • Is it that Obama is just showing his extreme arrogance and his disdain for the Constitution, and by disparaging the "birthers," he is, by projection, actually trying to disparage anyone that supports the Constitution?
  • Is it because Obama is trying to distract the tea-partiers, those of us on the Right, and the alternative media? Isn't that the old magician trick of "watch this hand so you don't see what the other hand is doing?"
  • Is it a trap for the GOP candidate in 2012? That candidate could risk alienating those of us that question Obama's eligibility and his past if our candidate dismisses it, or be gleefully ridiculed, marginalized, and excoriated by the left-wing press and Obama campaign staff if the GOP candidate happens to agree with us.

Last Saturday night, Barack Obama spoke to the Gridiron Club in Washington.

In case you don't know, the Gridiron Club is an exclusive, invitation-only group of Washington "journalists." Every year the group hobnobs with the public officials they are supposed to be covering in a private dinner, usually including the president – or, as in the case last Saturday, the current occupant of the White House.

From the filtered reports of the event, it was just about what you would expect.

Barack Obama cut off the playing of "Hail to the Chief" by the U.S. Marine Band as he was introduced and asked: "Can we go with that song we talked about?"

With that, the band broke into Bruce Springsteen's "Born in the USA."

"Some things just bear repeating," Obama cracked.

Har-har-hardy-har-har.

He can repeat it all he wants. And, for all we know, it may even be true that Obama was born in the USA. But a more effective way to make the point, now that he is aware of the fact that most Americans don't believe his birth narrative or much of anything else he says, would be to release his birth certificate.

Somehow, I think there's a reason he refuses to do so.

What could that reason be?
  • Is it that his long-form birth certificate, the one needed to get a passport, sign up for Little League baseball or get a driver's license in many states, was long ago amended to show he was adopted by an Indonesian stepfather?
  • Is it that his long-form birth certificate would reveal his parents weren't who he claims?
  • Is it that his long-form birth certificate shows he was born somewhere besides Hawaii?
  • Is it that his long-form birth certificate shows he was born in some other country?

We don't know. For whatever reason, Obama would like us never to know – and that is of understandable concern to millions of Americans, even if it is of no concern to the Gridiron Club, which guffawed itself into hysteria last Saturday night.

Bad journalism and a song ~ By Victoria Jackson

I'm always very careful to mention my fat, knowing that it is one of the favorite adjectives liberal bloggers use when debating my articles on euthanasia, abortion, Obamacare and Internet neutrality. In actuality, fat is a big deterrent to getting television work – although it hasn't seemed to hamper the careers of Whoopi, Behar, Rosie, Shepherd or Oprah! Maybe liberals are allowed to be fat!

Since I was already bing-ing myself, I checked out Wikipedia. It says that I am a birther! I did not know that! Although, I might be. WND has a plethora of proof. I do know "O" is not a true American. He hates America. That's like a Christian saying they are a Christian but they hate Christ!

Victoria Jackson is not afraid to tell you what is on her mind, even when she is now aware that liberal "journalists" will either lie about what she says, or parse her words to give what she said a completely different meaning. And of course, the liberals in the press aren't even afraid to use name calling as a weapon against her.  Is that real journalism?

But of course, I am sure that Victoria is quite aware that she is not the ONLY conservative celebrity (or politician, or both) that has suffered from what the liberal press tells their mindless minions. Obviously, Sarah Palin knows the feeling of being "victimized" (don't worry, Vicki isn't ever going to be a victim!) by the hate from the left in the media. Remember that? Well, I remember this: Ronald Reagan went through the same thing back in the 1980's (and beyond) at the hands of the liberal lamestream media!

And in the mean time, "coming out" as a conservative may have had a negative affect on Victoria's Hollywood acting career. You will find out more about that when you read the full text of her column, but in the mean time, here is a video that talks about what can happen to Conservatives in Hollywood:

Video provided by TheREALjohnny2k

I do not think that I have to remind Victoria that there is a definite reason for the attacks from the left. Liberals do not like it when they lose the heart of one of their own to our side on the Right. (I think there is a major religion also on this planet that also considers a conversion to any other religion but their own a punishable sin... by death.)

The attacks on Victoria, and Conservatives like her - especially if in Hollyweird - to be quite hurtful and deceitful... Consider the source! The only thing I can suggest to my (hopefully) good friend (someday), Victoria, is just roll with it like Zach said on Fox & Friends:

And yes, I think Victoria Jackson wrote this column not as a victim, but as a person that will face her storm, and she's doing just fine!

I'm driving to see my grandchild. I need a fix. She's 2 months old and still thinks the world is a wonderful place! I think somberly about Polatik and his baby getting chemo in the hospital. It reminds me of a song I wrote called, "It's Foggy."

Video provided by TheUkulelegal ~ March 2, 2011

I'm listening to Beck radio. A caller just said that his friend, a farmer, is being paid by the government not to grow crops. Food prices are rising. Shouldn't we be planting more crops? Oil prices are rising. Shouldn't we drill, baby, drill? We have oil right here! This whole green energy thing is based on a lie. Obama's group, Organizing For America, is protesting balanced budgets! This government is purposefully trying to destroy us. I shake it off. I'm trying to stay in a happy mood.

I don't understand unions. I've been in SAG and AFTRA for the past 30 years. They don't get me work. They do take dues. They say that when I'm 65, I'll get $3,000-ish per month. I like that part. I hope it's true. They send me residual checks occasionally. Their insurance is too expensive now, so I don't have any health insurance. (And I do not want Obamacare.) AFTRA sent me an e-mail last week asking me to protest. I wrote back: "Shame on you for your communistic behavior." I hope that doesn't affect the money I'm supposed to get when I'm 65!

There are no more turnpike tolls! Only electronic "Sun Pass!" I guess those toll booth people are out of work now too. Did we vote on this?

I saw the face of Obama suddenly pop up in some montage during the Oscars! Stop it! Keep him locked up in the White House until we can impeach him, for goodness sakes! Stop inserting him into football, and music, and Oscars. This isn't China or Cuba … yet.

Last time I visited my grandchild a car followed me. Someone is spying on me. But, that's next week's column. This week I want to address the rash of press that just came out about me at CPAC. I resent the liberal media's slant, lies, omissions and insinuations.

First of all, I was called a racist. My song is commenting on our president's worldview. It has nothing to do with his skin color or cultural background. This lie is especially hilarious considering Attorney General Eric Holder's comment this week on the Black Panther case and "my people"! And, of course, my favorite – Obama's comment, "I don't know all the facts, but the (white) police acted stupidly." Now that is racist.

The funniest article about me is by a liberal "plant" who posed as a conservative at CPAC thinking he would get secret information because we didn't suspect he wasn't one of us! The trouble is I tell the truth all the time, so he got only … truth! Matthew Vadum says, "A George Soros-funded Media Matters for America videographer committed journalistic fraud and malfeasance at the freshly concluded 2011 Conservative Political Action."

This next article has one point I agree with. It is hard to take me seriously, the voice, the hair. But, then they call my evidence that "O" is a communist "less than convincing "proof"! My evidence isn't proof?! I got a Facebook comment the other day from a woman who said "Jesus loves communism – everyone is equal." I wrote back, "Then why do all the communist countries kill Christians?"

Despite egging on by NBC, Boehner won't slam birthers

During this past week's Conservative Political Action Conference, better known as CPAC, freshman Rep. Raul Labrador, R-Idaho, clowned that he himself is an American citizen and that he has the birth certificate to prove it.

When Gregory asked Boehner about the appropriateness of the remark, Boehner said, "The gentleman was trying to be funny, I would imagine."
When I saw the segment on "Meet the Depressed" with Speaker John Boehner being badgered by NBC host David Gregory, I had a different take on it than what Joe Kovacs had according to the title of this story. True, the Speaker of the House didn't bash the birthers. But, he didn't defend them, either. Instead, Boehner tried to deflect Gregory's ridicule of the "birthers" by stating that he believed that Obama was born in Hawaii and that he is a Christian. But more than anything, David Gregory gave us a great example of how the liberal mainstream press is using the Saul Alinsky tactic of ridicule when it comes to defending the President. In another video (see just below) that was included in Kovac's story, Gregory does the same thing to House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA).

House speaker: 'It's not my job to tell the American people what to think'

Despite intense egging on by NBC newsman David Gregory, House Speaker John Boehner refused today to attack people who have doubts about Barack Obama's eligibility for the presidency.

Gregory was pressing the Ohio Republican about a recent focus group of Iowa voters on "Hannity" on the Fox News Channel. Some had said they believe Obama is Muslim, and not Christian.

Gregory, host of "Meet the Press," asked Boehner: "As the speaker of the House, as a leader, do you not think it's your responsibility to stand up to that kind of ignorance?"

Video provided by TheREALjohnny2k

"It's not my job to tell the American people what to think," Boehner responded. "Our job in Washington is to listen to the American people. Having said that, the state of Hawaii has said that he was born there. That's good enough for me. The president says he's a Christian. I accept him at his word."

Free stuff ~ By Victoria Jackson

After I got kicked out of Olive Garden, my mom said, "We are so tired of hearing about Obama, the Muslim, the communist, the birth … we have heard it for five years now and we are sick of it."

Me: (Five years?) "Um, yeah, me too."

I started thinking. If you are in a burning building, when do you quit screaming "FIRE!"? When everyone is safe.

That's why I must keep bothering my friends and neighbors with horrible facts. Sorry.
Victoria says it all in her conclusion: "Liberals say they care, but they keep them there. We say we care, and we want them outta there! I'd rather be a conservative and help the poor get rich!"

In this column, Victoria explores the art of persuasion, as in trying to explain to somebody why liberalism, progressivism, socialism, and communism don't work.  For an example of her "lack" of having the "gift of the art of persuasion" that she gives us, she was talking to a young woman - an obvious idiot - who voted for Obama and planned to again in 2012, and Victoria "tried to give her a crash course on capitalism / socialism / communism to no avail." But, I have to tell Victoria that it seems that she DOES have the "gift," and I believe that you will agree after you read this very persuasive column, "Free Stuff." Victoria firmly believes that we need a Republican candidate who does have the gift, "someone like Reagan, because there are a lot of dumb people out there who need a calm, coherent, persuasive, good communicator who doesn't get frustrated by idiots."

Oh, by the way, speaking of the Gipper... HAPPY 100TH BIRTHDAY, RONALD REAGAN! I know that Ronald would be proud of Victoria Jackson.

Walking the streets of San Juan for my first time, I try to think up adjectives for my postcard. It looks "beat up," poor, tired and dirty … bruised. Orwellian. What America will look like if Obama wins in 2012. I went to the Starbuck's Internet Cafe and couldn't get a connection. The barista told me, "Unfortunately, a man died today and fell into the Internet and broke it, so no one can get service. It's in the newspaper. I'm sorry." I looked at my friend Larry. After a long moment of confusion, we burst out laughing. I still don't understand that sentence.

I'm scared and saddened that there are still Americans who don't understand who is running our government and what their goals are.

I try to educate my friends and family, but my enthusiasm sometimes gets in the way. I do not have the gift of "the art of persuasion."

I got kicked out of Olive Garden this week.

I was at my friend's 80th birthday party, and I innocently invited her grand-niece to my next W.I.N. meeting. Niece said she couldn't come to my house to pray for our country because she voted for Obama and is voting for Obama in 2012. Oh. OK. I was dying of curiosity and asked her why she voted for him. Her reasons:

1)  "Change"
2)  He's ending the war, someday
3)  He loves his daughters
4)  He's a "strong" leader
5)  He gives me "free stuff"

I tried to give her a crash course on capitalism / socialism / communism to no avail. She gets "free stuff!" She doesn't care where it comes from or what the big picture is.

She said, "What's wrong with communism? Everyone should be equal." My heart rate quickened. My blood pressure shot up. Everyone is created equal, but everyone doesn't end up equal because of the choices they make. Some good, some bad. Why should I be punished for her bad choices? When she said that "Republicans only care about themselves," I almost exploded. When she said I wouldn't understand because I'm a "movie star" I almost stabbed my eyes out with my fork. I couldn't find it in myself to scream out, "My mind-numbingly boring waitress-typist-file-clerk-gym-coach jobs also supported you! Not just my TV jobs! You idiot! You should be thanking me!"

What made someone ask me to leave was when I was trying to explain abortion to this Obama-lover. I told her that Obama voted not only for "partial-birth abortion," which is cracking the skull of a baby and sucking it's brain out, but that he promoted a law that says if a baby accidentally survives an abortion it should be killed. She said, "Where did you hear that?"

Me: "It's public record. The Internet."

Her: (condescending) "Oh, come on now – you believe the Internet?! Ha! Ha! Ha!"

I then pointed to a stranger at the next table and said, "Freedom? I should have the freedom to kill her?" I was trying to explain that a baby has the same rights as the stranger sitting next to me … but I guess it all went wrong.

I do not have the gift of "the art of persuasion." Let's hope we can find a Republican candidate who does, someone like Reagan, because there are a lot of dumb people out there who need a calm, coherent, persuasive, good communicator who doesn't get frustrated by idiots.

Hawaii governor can't find Obama birth certificate ~ By Jerome Corsi

BARRY OBAMA WITH
HIS MOTHER, ANN DUNHAM
Abercrombie did not report to the newspaper that he or the Hawaii Department of Health had found Obama's long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate. The governor only suggested his investigations to date had identified an unspecified listing or notation of Obama's birth that someone had made in the state archives.

"It was actually written, I am told, this is what our investigation is showing, it actually exists in the archives, written down," Abercrombie said.

For seemingly the first time, Abercrombie frankly acknowledged that presidential politics motivated his search for Obama birth records, implying that failure to resolve the questions that remain unanswered about the president's birth and early life may damage his chance for re-election.

"If there is a political agenda (regarding Obama's birth certificate), then there is nothing I can do about that, nor can the president," he said.

This story by Jerome Corsi got the ball rolling late this week, and even the lame-stream media is now talking about it. As I stated in my previous post, on his Friday show, "even Rush Limbaugh spent a considerable amount of time discussing this situation."  Has Governor Neil Abercrombie (D-HI) opened a can of worms trying to help his pal, Barack Obama? Talking about good intentions with unintended consequences!

Hawaii governor can't find Obama birth certificate
Suggests controversy could hurt president's re-election chances

Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie suggested in an interview published today that a long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate for Barack Obama may not exist within the vital records maintained by the Hawaii Department of Health.

GOV. NEIL ABERCROMBIE
Abercrombie told the Honolulu Star Advertiser he was searching within the Hawaii Department of Health to find definitive vital records that would prove Obama was born in Hawaii, because the continuing eligibility controversy could hurt the president's chances of re-election in 2012.

Donalyn Dela Cruz, Abercrombie's spokeswoman in Honolulu, ignored again today another in a series of repeated requests made by WND for an interview with the governor.

Toward the end of the interview, the newspaper asked Abercrombie: "You stirred up quite a controversy with your comments regarding birthers and your plan to release more information regarding President Barack Obama's birth certificate. How is that coming?"

In his response, Abercrombie acknowledged the birth certificate issue will have "political implications" for the next presidential election "that we simply cannot have."

Suggesting he was still intent on producing more birth records on Obama from the Hawaii Department of Health vital records vault, Abercrombie told the newspaper there was a recording of the Obama birth in the state archives that he wants to make public.
