By Henry Lamb Posted: December 19, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 'Tis the week before Christmas and all through the land, not a freedom is safe from Obama's hand. Bankers, bewildered, before him now bow, while automakers, thankful, praise his cash cow. With energy and health care nearing control, his grasp on the nation is as he foretold. The people are stirred by his escapades, and are somewhat shocked by the history they made. Obama is not what he promised to be; he brings, instead, tyranny. America's great experiment in freedom was designed by our founders to create a new kind of government consisting of the very people for whom the government was made. The first purpose of this new government was to protect the freedom of the people against all enemies both foreign and domestic, and especially from governmental tyranny. To keep the federal government under control, the designers limited the power of the new federal government to those very specific areas set forth in Article I, Section 8. These limitations are now routinely ignored by both the House and the Senate. The one mechanism in our system of government designed to rid our government of those who abuse the Constitution is the biennial elections. America stands at the brink of a Marxist abyss because Americans have elected a majority of officials who do not honor the Constitution, who do not respect the value of individual freedom, and who crave personal power and perks more than the prosperity produced by free people operating a free market. A majority of disappointed non-Democrats allowed this congressional majority to be elected by staying home on Election Day. If the United States created by the Constitution is to survive, Americans must mobilize and remove the current majority in Washington. Actions by the Washington majority have stirred deep-seated anger and patriotic enthusiasm across the countryside, but there is a very real danger this anti-majority fervor will be splintered. Tea-party activists are battling for leadership while Glenn Beck's 9-12 groups compete for attention. Third-party promoters vie for support in the face of waning Republican influence. This is a guaranteed formula for failure in 2010. Victory in 2010 is not necessarily determined by party label. There are Democrats who believe in the constitutional limitation of congressional power, and Republicans who do not. The challenge faced by voters is finding candidates – regardless of party affiliation – who are strong advocates of the U.S. Constitution, as demonstrated by deeds, not rhetoric. Sadly, many of these candidates labor fruitlessly in third-party campaigns. Rush Limbaugh's advice to third parties is sound: Take control of the Republican Party and make it the party of the Constitution. READ FULL STORY >

March on Washington at hand!
From WorldNetDaily
'This is the most effective way to kill socialized medicine' Posted: November 04, 2009 ~ 11:05 pm Eastern © 2009 WorldNetDaily An event that could impact future health care in America in dramatic ways is taking place in just hours in Washington, D.C., in response to a call from lawmakers led by Reps. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., and Pete Hoekstra, R-Mich., for as many Americans as possible to converge outside the Capitol to protest the bill pending in Congress.House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has indicated a vote on the bill could take place as soon as Thursday, but Bachmann told WND she is urging citizens to come to Washington and "pay an emergency House call to Congress." "This is the most effective way we have to kill socialized medicine and to do it this week," she said. "Nothing is more effective at reaching a congressman than having a citizen come to Washington, D.C. – not asking for a handout, not asking for tax money, not asking to take some liberty away from somebody else, but just asking for freedom." Bachmann said the American people spoke loud and clear this summer, telling Congress they don't want "cradle-to-grave takeover of health care." According to Rasmussen Reports, a full 54 percent of voters are now opposed to the House version of health-care reform. Only 23 percent of all voters strongly support the plan while nearly twice as many, or 44 percent, expressed strong opposition. [CLICK HERE TO READ MORE]

Protesters target media: 'Can you hear us now?'
From WorldNetDaily
Thousands of Americans demand mainstream media listen to outcry Posted: October 17, 2009 ~ 6:45 pm Eastern By Drew Zahn © 2009 WorldNetDaily"Can you hear us now?" asked protesters around the country this weekend, challenging the mainstream media to drop a perceived news bias and give fair coverage to the growing movement against Obama administration policies. Grassroots organizers pulled together small groups of protesters in dozens of U.S. cities yesterday and today, including more than 100 who descended upon the offices of the Florida's St. Petersburg Times this morning. "The press needs to be unbiased," Joe Sekola, an organizer of a group called the North Pinellas 9.12 Project, told the Times. "You guys are the watchdogs." The paper reports protesters accused the media in general of biased reporting on Big Government issues like health care reform and stimulus spending. They carried signs reading "State Run Media," "Take the Left From Your Slant," and "Journalism Malpractice – Just Report the Facts." [CLICK HERE TO READ MORE]

Tidal wave of patriots washing over D.C. ~ By Henry Lamb
From WorldNetDaily
By Henry Lamb Posted: October 10, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 WorldNetDaily Rep. John Shadegg has been trying to get a bill enacted for 15 years that would simply require legislators to cite the constitutional authority for any legislation that is proposed. His bill is called the Enumerated Powers Act (HR450). It now has 52 co-sponsors, but there is very little chance that it will ever get to the floor for a vote. Why? Because the Democrats in Congress will not allow it. This bill would not be necessary if the Democrats would simply follow their own rules. House Rule XIII (3)(d)(1) requires:
"Each report of a committee on a public bill or public joint resolution shall contain the following: A statement citing the specific powers granted to Congress in the Constitution to enact the law proposed by the bill or joint resolution."That's right. The rules of procedure in the House of Representatives already require that every bill or resolution cite the constitutional authority for the proposed legislation. This rule is routinely ignored. Why? Because Democrats control the Rules Committee and the entire House of Representatives, and they routinely "waive" or "suspend" this rule. Some people remember when Nancy Pelosi stood on her pedestal and proclaimed: "This leadership team will create the most honest, most open, and most ethical Congress in history" (November 16, 2006). Ignoring a House rule is a minor offense, compared to the corruption that Ms. Pelosi readily accepts when it affects her Democratic colleagues. How quickly did she and her colleagues invoke House rules to condemn Rep. Joe Wilson when he blurted out "you lie" during President Obama's sales pitch to Congress? But when Democrat Alan Grayson uses visual aids to claim that the Republican health-care plan calls on sick people to "Die Quickly," there's nothing at all offensive to Pelosi and her colleagues about the gross lie Grayson speaks. Memo to GOP: No guts, no glory ~ By Tom Tancredo
From WorldNetDaily
Tom Tancredo is a former five-term congressman from Colorado and 2008 candidate for the Republican presidential nomination. He currently serves as chairman of the Rocky Mountain Foundation and co-chairman of TeamAmericaPac. Tancredo is the author of "In Mortal Danger: The Battle for America's Border and Security."By Tom Tancredo Posted: October 03, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 Thank God John McCain lost the election. Citizen activists are now energized to defeat Obama's Marxist radicalism – with no help from McCain's anemic pragmatism. Eight months into the Obama presidency the Republican opposition is suddenly thriving because of the patriotic reawakening provoked by Obama's Marxist agenda. But this Republican revival will be short-lived if party leaders ignore the real message of the tea party protesters and 9/12 marchers. We are witnessing a grass-roots rediscovery of our constitutional traditions and a principled resistance to the expansion of entitlement spending. This resurrection of principled conservatism could never have happened if John McCain had won the 2008 election and enshrined his anemic "hands across the aisle" opportunism as the Republican Party's new orthodoxy. The last thing the country needs is another Republican administration dedicated to the "no entitlement left behind" Kool-Aid that Karl Rove and his clones sold to Bush and party leaders. Obama's radicalism has generated a genuine, mushrooming, rational fear for the future of our constitutional republic. The grass-roots revolt is not about which political party gets to preside over the death knell of liberty. It is about halting this slide into tyranny. The Republican Party can decide to help lead this revolt, or it can get out of the way and stop obstructing it. In my home state of Colorado in the last month, Sen. McCain attempted to dictate the Republican nominee for the 2010 U.S. Senate race. He made calls into the state to persuade a favorite of the party establishment to take on conservative Ken Buck, who had already launched a strong campaign. Apparently, McCain and national party leaders want a nominee who is not so conservative on the illegal-immigration issue. This kind of "play it safe" thinking is a replay of past mistakes, and it is not a formula for leading a successful citizens revolt against Washington hubris. The citizen activism that brought over 1 million ordinary Americans to the Capitol Mall a week after Labor Day is only in part a reaction to Obama's radicalism. It is also more than that – it is more than "just say no" to Obama's health-care plans. It is also a rediscovery and reaffirmation of the conservative principles that were abandoned or belittled by Republican Party elites in the Bush era. [CLICK HERE TO READ MORE]
A call to arms ~ By Pat Boone
From WorldNetDaily
By Pat Boone Posted: October 03, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 It was just before dawn. Close to a million people stood silently at attention, waiting for the signal. Looming above them in the dissipating darkness was a thick wall, forbidding and impenetrable. It surrounded a city containing thousands of people who were unalterably opposed to the aims of the mostly unarmed marchers below. It was a classic situation. An irresistible force against an immovable object – nothing apparently could move the city out of the way. Suddenly, just as the sun's first rays illuminated the eastern sky, the unnerving sound of a ram's horn rang out. In an instant, the million-man army began to move. At the head of the procession were some soldiers, followed by a small group of priests and the Ark of the Covenant, between this army and their God. Behind the Ark were a few more soldiers, and then an unbroken line of ordinary, untrained citizens completely committed to the task before them. Nearly a million marchers – still absolutely silent – began a seven-day campaign circling the city behind its tall, thick wall of resistance. You surely know what happened. For seven days, as the inhabitants of Jericho watched from above, the marchers tramped around the city, the only sound the frequent blasts from the rams' horns. On the seventh day, the Israelites marched around Jericho seven times – and then the leaders blew a very loud, long sound, and a million people shouted to high heaven, literally. And the whole giant wall fell at once, tumbling in cataclysmic rushes to a scattered pile of rubble! And the people of Israel rushed in and took over the city. Many years later, in the land that these marchers secured for Israel, King Hezekiah and his administration were themselves surrounded in Jerusalem and threatened by the huge army from Assyria. It was almost the reverse of the situation in Jericho – with one vital difference. This time God was on the side of the inhabitants, not the ones who wanted to take over. When King Hezekiah cried out to God and he and the people fasted and prayed, knowing they couldn't survive without His divine intervention, God answered, speaking through the prophet Isaiah directly to the Assyrians who were mocking Him and his people:
Because of your raging against me and your arrogance, which I have heard myself, I will put my hook in your nose and my bit in your mouth. I will make you return by the same road on which you came. The passionate commitment of the Lord of Heaven's armies will make this happen! For my own honor and for the sake of my servant David, I will defend this city and protect it.And the record in the book of 2 Kings 19 says, "That night the angel of the Lord went out to the Assyrian camp and killed 185,000 Assyrian soldiers!" The marauding king slunk back to Nineveh and stayed there. Hezekiah and the people of Israel didn't have to fight – militarily – at all! They simply went out and collected the vast spoils, the result of their God's amazing victory. But they did fight – spiritually. And that's my point. In both the triumphs detailed above, though there was carnage and violence, the weapons and strategies were spiritual. And they were victorious because they depended primarily on their belief in God, who rules over all things, and who declares His nearness to those who approach Him in sincere faith. Today, right now, in the almost unprecedented grass-roots uprising against the determined policies of a president who has declared to the world "America is no longer a Christian nation," a growing army of citizens who are predominantly Christian by a huge majority are assembling, and marching, and shouting their opposition to his policies. I can't escape the comparison, the similarity between the threats that faced the people of Israel and those that face the people of America right now. They faced entrenched, implacable forces who arrogantly defied them, impugning and deriding their efforts. So do we. They were threatened with a complete takeover and domination by people who saw them only a ripe prize to be taken, a "crisis too good to waste," and who felt their power was too invincible to be resisted. And so are we. [CLICK HERE TO READ MORE]

Don't tread on me! ~ By Chuck Norris
From WorldNetDaily
By Chuck Norris Posted: September 21, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 Sept. 12 was an amazing day as thousands marched on Washington, D.C., seeking to unite Americans and make a stand against tyranny and oppression. At the same time, the Tea Party Express escorted a number of patriots to the U.S. Capitol as well, to culminate its cross-country rallies. But what's next? I have an idea. What I loved about the 9/12 idea is that it was a non-political, non-partisan movement. The 9-12 Project was designed to bring Americans back to the place where we were on Sept. 12, 2001 – the day after America was attacked by terrorists. We were not concerned then with red states, blue states or political parties. We were united as Americans, standing together to protect our nation. On Sept. 12, 2002, we sought to protect our nation against terrorists from without. Beginning on Sept. 12, 2009, we are seeking to protect our nation against enemies of our republic from within. Many of us are protesting the present political direction of Washington. Outrageous borrowing, excessive bailouts, massive spending, speedball stimulus plans, universal hell-care and swings toward socialism are just a few of things that were protested that day. Of course, economics is far from America's only problem, as large as it appears to loom. I want to emphasize: this revolutionary movement is not solely an independent, Republican or Democrat fight. It represents patriots fed up against modernists who seek to overturn almost every principle and tenet laid down by our country's founders at the inception of our republic. From the East Coast to the "Left Coast," America seems to be moving further and further from its founders' vision and government. For example, George Washington advised, "The great rule of conduct in regard to foreign nations is in extending our commercial relations [and] having with them as little political connection as possible." Yet, despite presidential campaign promises, we're slowly pulling out of Iraq, but escalating missions in Afghanistan. And the Obama administration also pledged $900 million in U.S. taxpayer-funded aid to Hamas-controlled Gaza and Mahmoud Abbas' Palestinian Authority. [CLICK HERE TO READ MORE]

This week on TheREALjohnny2k - 9/11 to 9/19/09
From johnny2k Is Home
September 11, 2009 - America, I will always love you, and I will never forget
Suddenly, on a beautiful September day, our lives would change forever. In this video, I combine the memories of that day with a song about America's resolve, called "I will always love you." I put this together on 9/11/09 because I never will forget, and I never want to forget. I remember the day that I woke up to see these images on TV, over and over, for the whole day.
I guess the song that I have used for the background for this video says it all.
Please read the associated blog post "I will never forget" at http://bit.ly/12FK1e
September 13, 2009 - Did you hear about the 9/12 Rally and March on Washington?
Millions of people not only knew about it, millions participated. Sure, not all of the participants were in Washington D.C., but I guarantee that many that couldn't go were down in the basements (or man-cave as I personally call it), and we were going to town. There was no excuse for the Mean Stream Media to have missed this story. And worse yet, the White House claimed that they didn't even know about it.
Do I smell a conspiracy here?

September 18, 2009 - The "No Czars" Lie exposed by Michelle Malkin - The Liar-In-Chief is caught again
Of course, the White House needs to back away from the label for various non-vetted "directors" as being "Czars". Now that the rampant Marxism in the White House is being exposed, it would be best not to mention anything so Soviet-sounding as "Czars". That just sounds so sinister. But, the liar was too late. The damage has already been done. The Sheople are being woken up. The Liar-In-Chief wasn't able to silence us in time.
Thank you, Michelle Malkin, for your patriotic and valiant - and successful! - effort to keep this story going.

September 19, 2009 - Mike Huckabee on Health Care For Illegal Immigrants
Is it a lie that the Liar-in-Chief is telling us that illegal aliens will not get govt. health care, or is he going to grant them all amnesty so that he isn't lying?
By John Kubicek Being this is the first week I've done this, I am sure that some of the followers of this blog may not be aware that I have a youtube channel that goes by TheREALjohnny2k. Well, now you know. But, I know also that not everyone will have time to get to my channel as often as I upload my videos. For this reason, I've decided to start this weekly feature where every Sunday, when you get home from your worship services, you can stop by here and check out what I have added to the channel in the last week. This week, I want to go back an extra couple days, starting with Friday, Sept. 11. I think when you see the video that starts this series off, you'll understand why I wanted to include it. Normally, though, it will be everything that has been added from the previous Sunday until Saturday. Being this is the first week that I've done this, I am sure that there will be improvements and refinements to this weekly feature in the future. This is obviously still in the experimental stage, so let's just see how this goes. I am pretty sure that you will enjoy this opportunity to watch these videos. Most of the videos will be from news segments, though you may be surprised by something special from time to time, such as the first one you'll see today. I should also mention here that the length of the videos will usually be relatively short, from three to six minutes, so it won't take your whole day to get through them all. It will be rare for me to upload more than four or five videos in a week, though this first edition will have a few more since I'm going back an extra day or two. So, are you ready? Great! Let's get started! (To make comments on any of the videos, just click on the video and that will take you to the you to the youtube page of the video.)

The arrogance is breathtaking ~ By Patrice Lewis
From WorldNetDaily
By Patrice Lewis Posted: September 19, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 I think I've finally figured it out. What is it about this administration and the mainstream media that grates on people's nerves? Why are folks so angry that they're holding heated town hall meetings, rallies and tea parties from coast to coast? Why do we object so strongly to current policies that we're willing to travel great distances at our own expense to protest, only to be called loathsome names? Is it that the government is trying to shove health-care reform down our throats despite the fact that 83 percent of Americans are satisfied with what they have? Is it the cap-and-trade farce that will skyrocket prices on every conceivable good and service for no discernible benefit? Is it Obama's goal to spread our hard-earned wealth to those who haven't earned it? It's all of those things, of course, and more. But the objections of many Americans can be summed up in one single word: ARROGANCE. Have you noticed the arrogance of this administration and its media? If you combine a liberal president with a liberal Senate and Congress, reported by a liberal press … the result is a degree of egotism and superiority toward the citizens of this country seldom equaled in any presidential term. Consider Rep. Joe Wilson's shout of "You lie!" during Obama's address to a joint session of Congress. Putting aside the fact that the president was lying (on the issue of whether illegal immigrants would have access to government-run health care), it seems the administration is determined to make an example of Wilson by demanding multiple apologies in various locations and under assorted conditions (standing on his head, hopping on one foot, walking while chewing gum, that kind of thing). Technological demonizing ~ By Phil Elmore
From WorldNetDaily
By Phil Elmore Posted: September 17, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 It is a fundamental characteristic of our technologically driven society, and one that we have discussed previously in Technocracy, that technology distances us from one another. The paradox is that in a world now more interconnected than any before it – a world in which we microblog the most trivial events of our lives while staying in touch electronically with everyone we've ever known (and calling "friend" many people we've never even met) – the same technology that binds us together helps us to dehumanize, mischaracterize and ultimately dismiss whole swaths of humanity based simply on ideology and willing misconception. Never has this been more obvious than in the mischaracterization of Republican, Libertarian and even Democrat opposition to the sweeping socialist policies and breathtakingly totalitarian power grabs of the Obama administration. Using the distancing and jaundiced lens of technology as misused by yellow journalism, our "mainstream" media outlets – and an army of left-wing commentators and pundits who pose as "objective" journalists – misinform the American people every day. The end result is that any and all criticism of President Obama, his policies and those he appoints to rule by bureaucratic fiat is decried as racism, as "lies," as contrived or manufactured, and as otherwise illegitimate. The most recent example of this type of technologically facilitated mischaracterization involves the recent protests on Sept. 12 in Washington, D.C. A sea of protesters – some estimates put their number at over 1 million – converged on Washington in a display of outrage over the policies of the Obama administration and the arrogance of the Democrats now holding power. WE Are the MOB: Do You Hear Us Now? ~ By John Kubicek
From johnny2k Is Home
By John Kubicek September 14, 2009 They thought that they knew who we are. They thought that they could just keep pulling the wool over our eyes. No wonder. That seems to reflect the general and complacent wool-over-the-eyes attitude of the "sheople," doesn't it? "Why worry, we can't do nothin' 'bout it anyhow." So, doesn't it make it pretty hard to figure that "10's of thousands" of us folks would be gathering in Washington, D.C. back on September 12th? No, of course, that can't make any difference, right? Is that why it wasn't covered by the "Meanstream Media?" You see, we could literally show up on the streets of the Capitol, by the millions, and the majority of the people that see 10 minutes of "news" every week actually see.... uh, nothing. The shameful non-coverage of 9/12 ~ By Joseph Farah
From WorldNetDaily
By Joseph Farah Posted: September 14, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 I knew the media were out of touch with the American people. I've known it for 25 years. It's why I do what I do. It's why I created WND. It's why I wrote the book, "Stop the Presses: The Inside Story of the New Media Revolution." It's why I have devoted my life to reminding my colleagues and others about the critical role of the free press in a free society. Nevertheless, even I was shocked at the abysmal, inexcusable non-coverage of the massive rally and march in Washington this weekend to protest government's abusive and unconstitutional excesses and power grabs. How many people have to march on Washington before the major news media take notice? How many tea parties and town halls does it take for the major news media to recognize the American people are peacefully voicing their concerns and deserve to be heard? Why are the major news media, which are supposed to serve as a watchdog on government waste, fraud, abuse and corruption complicit in those things and betraying their mission to maintain a free and open society based on the principle of self-governance? A million or more rock Washington
From WorldNetDaily
Taxpayer march could be biggest rally ever in capital Posted: September 12, 2009 ~ 9:57 pm Eastern By Chelsea Schilling and Alyssa Farah © 2009 WorldNetDailyWASHINGTON – The capital was rocked today by a taxpayer march and rally that could be the biggest protest ever – potentially dwarfing the Million Man March and the Promise Keepers Rally. Though crowd estimates vary from as low as 60,000 to 70,000 according to ABC News to a high of 2 million by London Daily Mail, photographs and videos of the march and rally demonstrate its enormity. The taxpayers stormed Washington, D.C., today, taking their fight against excessive spending, bailouts, growth of big government and soaring deficits to the front door of the U.S. Capitol.
All week citizens have been heading to the Hill by the busloads for the showdown today. The Tea Party Patriots' "Tea Party Express" national bus tour has been hosting a series of tea party rallies all across the nation. A caravan of buses, speakers and entertainers arrived in Washington, D.C., just in time for the march. The taxpayers have paid their own way to the event. The White House said Friday it was unaware of the rally. President Obama has traveled to Minneapolis, Minn., to promote his health-care plans at a rally there. But so many taxpayers showed up on Pennsylvania Avenue that the crowd ran out of room and the march was forced to begin early. WND was at the scene to get crowd reaction and take photos of the protest. [CLICK HERE TO READ MORE AND SEE MORE PICS]
