Rod Blagojevich is the former Illinois Governor who tried to sell Obama's seat in congress.
Obama was asked by the press if he had ever met Gov. Rod Blagojevich.

To understand the next 4 years, you have to understand the “world according to Chicago.”
While Chicago is a city in Illinois, it is almost a completely different country when it comes to politics, with a whole different set of morals and language.
There are only three rules and a “Prime Directive” which anybody can understand. You don't even need an attorney to understand them - and if you need an attorney, well, you know too much... So, look out for Rule #3!
RULE #1 ... No matter what you see, hear, or do -- you don't know anybody and you don't know nothing!
RULE #2 ... If you capture something on tape or camera… -- it doesn't reveal nothing!
RULE #3 ... If you know what everybody knows in Chicago -- well, you still don't know nothing.
The “PRIME DIRECTIVE” in CHICAGO ... No matter what the vote, Democrats win the election.
Now pay close attention! It's very simple, we'll illustrate. Remember, you know nothing.

The guy on the left? For all you know he's Santa Claus. And the guy on the right... well, he's the Easter Bunny! That's all you need to know. Go to your eye doctor...your eyes are lying to you! Ca'pish?
Remember Jimmy Hoffa? He knew too much and now, well, now no one knows where he is.
Is the big picture clear? Not these pictures! Remember, You've already forgot them...
Now, ain't that simple?

If you do the research... You will find that Obama never made that statement about not knowing Blagojevich.. At least no time in the past number of years.
ReplyDeleteIf you do a search on the quote you cannot find it online anywhere EXCEPT in the context of the smear.
You’d have to be the most gullible person on the planet (or think Obama is) to believe he said this anytime in recent history (it is possible he said it way in the past BEFORE he met Blagojevich – after all, they don’t say WHEN he said it) .... As Blagojevich and Obama are both Chicago area politicians AT THE SAME TIME (Blago was Gov when Obama was a Senator)... It makes sense that they would have met each other a LOT of times once they were in office, and it makes NO sense that Obama would ever say he had not met him now. Why would he? What difference does it make whether he knows him or not? I imagine all major politicians have met each other if they have been in politics any length of time. Often they are on committees together, attend the same fundraisers, etc. They even endorse each other based on agreement of policy issues (doesn’t mean they play golf together or socialize together).
Second... Obama actually DID ENDORSE Blagojevich in two campaigns.... Although he had distanced himself from him an entire year before the scandal broke. Obviously Obama had figured out that there was something fishy about Blagojevich. Obama is not a fool. He knows there are multiple photos of the two of them together (some are obviously POSED photos for god sake).
It’s easy to check out. IF, indeed, he had said that, it would be online somewhere in an article. The ONLY places you find the quote though are in copies of this email trying to disparage Obama and on sites where this email text is posted. The person who wrote this smear could have attributed that quote to a source (the media outlet it originally appeared in)... But they did not. Probably because he either never said it... Or said it so long ago that everyone would realize it was before he did meet Blago.
Someone just MADE THIS whole thing up as a smear tactic. Ironically... Telling a LIE by calling Obama a liar.
Of course... If someone already already dislikes Obama (and they are not that bright), and if they are not very knowledgeable about politics ... It feeds into a preconceived idea... So why would they question it?
Or... Better question... Why would someone CARE if they, themselves are lying by forwarding this on to others?... Telling a lie by calling Obama a liar? After all... When you dislike someone... It is perfectly OK to lie about them, make up whatever you want. There is no reason to have integrity yourself when it comes to attacking someone you dislike... All is fair, right?

You are not correct here, and when someone makes these twisted blunders and allogations when it was Ayers he was speaking about in his relation early on, it is obvious that you just crawled out from under a rock or you are an ACORN Democrat trying to thwart the efforts of those who are so trying to support the truth. You need to pay attentioin as you have no crediblitity.
