Moving to the middle? ~ By Robert Ringer

If you have any hopes of keeping up with what our radical in chief (credit to Stanley Kurtz for the title of his eye-opening book) is really up to, you owe it to yourself to totally ignore everything he says and watch closely everything he does. It isn't an easy task, since most of what he does to continue moving America toward bankruptcy, collectivism and servitude goes unreported by the left-wing press.
For anyone still believing that Barack Obama (Obamessiah, as Mr. Ringer calls him) could ever move to the center, they obviously haven't been paying attention. As Robert says in the paragraph above, it will important to watch Obama's actions very closely over the next two years, and not to expect any help from the left-wing media in doing so.

Moving to the middle?

From the standpoint of those who like the idea of the America the Founding Fathers envisioned, the polls continue to be discouraging with regard to Barack Obama's popularity. Conservatives have been talking about "Obama's rapidly deteriorating poll numbers" for two years now, and, although the numbers do occasionally move a few percentages, the fact is that he has what appears to be a permanent lock on approximately 40 percent of the voters.

As I've said so often, you have to totally write off roughly 30 percent of the population, those who actually want the United States to be transformed into a collectivist utopia. And probably 10 percent or so of that 30 percent is radical enough to openly use the word communism in lieu of such euphemisms as progressivism and socialism.

Yet, in a society now obsessed with "hate speech," we are not allowed to use a term like communism, even when people say things like "When you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody" or "Someone is going to have to give up a piece of their pie so that someone else can have more." After all, we don't want to be accused of causing Chris Matthews to tinkle on his own leg.

For more than three years, most of the media and a significant percentage of the voting population have been playing the let's pretend game – meaning, let's pretend we don't really know what's happening and that the Obamessiah is a middle-of-the-road guy at heart. They ignore the fact that Barack Obama has appointed radical leftists such as Cass Sunstein, John Holdren, Donald Berwick, Anita Dunn, Van Jones, Mark Lloyd … the list of goes on and on … to positions that give (or gave) them the opportunity to have a major impact on policies that affect every American.

Within a week after Barack Obama was sworn in, I wrote an article in which I stated my belief that he would move swiftly to make good on his promise to fundamentally change America. He did not disappoint. If you look at Obama's track record from the perspective of someone intent on imposing the dreams of his father on the United States of America, it has been a rousing success.

Giving the man his due credit, he has been relentless. He did not allow Congress, the Constitution or the will of the people to stand in his way. From his days as a young boy learning at the knee of communist Frank Marshall Davis in Hawaii to his 20 years of listening, week in and week out, to Jeremiah Wright's hate-America sermons, he has been a totally committed redistributionist.

Obama wants U.S. defenseless ~ By Joseph Farah

As always, Joseph says pretty much what I have been thinking. I am glad that he has the courage to write what he does. I can only assume that Obama's minions will not be happy with Farah's column, and I can only assume that Joseph Farah could care less about what they think.

The important thing that we must remember, is that for now, we still have the freedom to write and say what the truth is, and it is extremely urgent for us to do so before it's too late (if it isn't already). That can change. There could be a day when we may no longer have that freedom. That day could come at any time.

I can only assume his globalist sympathies are more important to him than the lives and safety of 300 million Americans he swore an oath to defend.

I can only assume his bizarre, twisted and un-American sense of morality is more important to him than the oath he swore to uphold the Constitution.

This man is dangerous – not just to our liberties but to our very lives and the very future of America.

Barack Obama's own administration may still be trying to explain away his announcement that the U.S. would never respond to a biological or chemical weapons attack on America with nuclear weapons, but this is hardly the first gaffe suggesting the man in the White House has no interest in defending the homeland.

Much less news coverage was afforded the decision by his Congress to defund an incredibly promising project that could offer protection to all U.S. citizens currently vulnerable to missile attack – including those carrying biological, chemical and nuclear weapons.

On Feb. 11, a high-powered laser successfully shot down a ballistic missile in a test off the coast of California. That was when the "airborne laser aircraft" demonstrated it is capable of destroying a missile traveling at 4,000 miles per hour.

This might have been greeted with sighs of relief given the news that has dominated the world lately – Iran's nuclear program and North Korea's nuclear tests. But it wasn't. Instead, it was greeted with a collective yawn from the complacent yet undefended American public and a choice by the Obama administration and Democratic-dominated Congress to pull the plug on the airborne laser system.

At the same time, the Obama administration is green-lighting plans by America's top technology companies, including Google and Yahoo!, to transfer strategic computer know-how to China, which is already acknowledged to be working on cyber-warfare capabilities that could pose tactical challenges to the U.S. in any future conflict.

John Holdren
Why should any of this surprise us? Obama's so-called "science czar," John Holdren, visited the Soviet Union during the Cold War as vice chairman of a group whose founder was accused of providing vital nuclear information that helped the Soviets build their atom bomb.

Holdren also has endorsed a "surrender of sovereignty" to what he called "a comprehensive Planetary Regime" that would control all the world's resources, direct global redistribution of wealth, oversee the "de-development" of the West, control a world army and taxation, and enforce world population controls.

However, it's worth noting not everyone in the world community shares Obama's apparent fondness for "we are the world"-style totalitarianism. Some countries would prefer to impose their own will on the rest of us.

In China, for instance, Senior Col. Liu Mingfu published a book, with the approval of Beijing, that calls for his country to make a "sprint" toward becoming the world's dominant military superpower.

China has also reportedly developed a high-tech ballistic missile capable of sinking U.S. aircraft carriers.

There can be no confusion about what China is doing with its aggressive military arms buildup.

Beijing may already be in full sprint for the finish line – a military showdown with the U.S. when America can least afford it.

As I've said before, I don't think Obama is dumb. I think he's a reasonably intelligent person fully capable of seeing what I'm seeing and understanding what it means.

Obama diverts CIA to spy on ... polar bears!

From WorldNetDaily
Terrorist-watching satellites used to keep an eye on climate change Jerome Corsi By Jerome Corsi Posted: January 10, 2010 ~ 6:54 pm Eastern © 2010 WorldNetDaily Despite terrorist attacks against the United States recurring with the Fort Hood shooting and the December underwear bomber, President Obama has tasked the Central Intelligence Agency with investigating global warming. Obama has resurrected a program formerly cancelled by President Bush that shares information from the CIA's spy satellites and other classified sensors with environmental scientists. The program, called Measurements of Earth Data for Environmental Analysis, or MEDEA, has already been used by a group of government-chosen scientists to measure Arctic sea ice. Norbert Untersteiner, a University of Washington professor among the chosen scientists, told the New York Times the images are "really useful," since climate change specialists "have no way to send out 500 people" across the polar caps to take similar measurements. The program is not without its detractors, however, including Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyo., who called the creation of the CIA Center on Climate Change and National Security "irresponsible." "In times of peace and prosperity, this center would completely defy common sense," Barrasso said in a statement last week. "But today, only two weeks after a terrorist attempted to blow up a plane over our country, this center is absolutely ridiculous. The CIA's resources should be focused on monitoring terrorists in caves – not polar bears on icebergs." Barrasso concluded, "We must ensure that our intelligence officials are focused on their most important task – protecting our country from immediate terror threats." Federal officials reportedly told the Times the program has little or no impact on current intelligence gathering, since it relies on information already archived or collected when sensors are passing over empty wilderness. Nonetheless, the images provided to scientists have been intentionally blurred or cloaked to prevent revealing the full capabilities of the CIA's spy satellites. 'Geo-engineering' for climate control In addition to opening up CIA resources, and despite Democrats in the Senate backing away from supporting Obama efforts to pass cap-and-trade legislation, the administration has maintained a commitment to expensive and even radical efforts to "save the planet" from global climate change. As WND reported, White House science czar John Holdren favors "geo-engineering" in order to manipulate the climate. READ FULL STORY >

Fears of imminent ice age to replace warming alarm? Jerome Corsi By Jerome Corsi Posted: January 09, 2010 ~ 12:00 am Eastern © 2010 WorldNetDaily Fears of a new ice age not seen since the 1970s are arising in the aftermath of the "Climategate" scandal that has cast doubt on the legitimacy of scientific research forming the basis for the theory that mankind is causing an ultimately catastrophic rise in temperatures worldwide. Joe Bastardi, Accuweather meteorologistAccuweather meteorologist Joe Bastardi has produced a video suggesting the current frigid conditions in North America, Europe and Asia are very similar to the weather patterns in the 1970s that produced fears a new ice age was imminent. In the video, Bastardi explains his theory that "weather goes in a lot of cycles, and we're going to see a lot more of the cold trending here over the next 20 or 30 years." WND previously reported President Obama's science czar John Holdren was among the scientists who predicted 1 billion people would die in "carbon-dioxide induced" famines in a coming new ice age by 2020. In the 1970s, Holdren's theme was that government-mandated population control was essential to prevent "eco-disasters" such as the forecast ice age. Today, Holdren urges immediate passage of the Obama administration's cap-and-trade legislation to control carbon emissions before it is too late to save the planet from "global warming." Fox and foes ~ By Burt Prelutsky

Commentary from WorldNetDaily
Burt Prelutsky By Burt Prelutsky Posted: December 11, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 Whenever I hear people outside the administration prattle on about how evil and biased Fox News is, I know I am listening to a flock of parrots who have never even tuned in. As a conservative, I, myself, have a number of problems with the network. For one thing, I resent Bill O'Reilly's ridiculing those who merely ask for documentation that their president was born in the United States, and I also wish he'd stop defending Obama against charges that he's a socialist or worse. If it walks, swims and quacks like a duck, Bill, it's a safe bet that you can pop it in the oven and serve it at Christmastime. I'd also appreciate it if Sean Hannity would wake up to the fact that a lot of us change the channel the second Bob Beckel shows up on the not so Great American Panel. On the other hand, I wish that merely as an experiment a dozen or so liberals could be forced to watch Glenn Beck for an entire week. I would be dying to know how they would react, what they would say, after watching videos of Obama, Rahm Emanuel, Cass Sunstein, Anita Dunn, Andy Stern and John Holdren, spouting off when they think nobody outside the room will hear about their plans to transform America in ways that would have made Dr. Frankenstein blanch, but put a smile on Karl Marx's ugly mug. Holdren's guru: Dispose of 'excess children' like puppies

From WorldNetDaily
Science chief acknowledges Brown as inspiration for career in ecology Jerome R. Corsi By Jerome R. Corsi Posted: December 09, 2009 ~ 9:27 pm Eastern © 2009 WorldNetDaily This is the third of a three-part series of articles exploring Obama administration science czar John P. Holdren's self-acknowledged intellectual debt to geochemist and early ecological alarmist Harrison Brown. In the first part, WND reported Brown recommended pumping carbon dioxide into the global atmosphere in order to promote the food production needed to prevent starvation resulting from over-population. In the second part, WND examined Brown's endorsement of eugenics as a recommended means of controlling overpopulation to prevent ecological disasters. Geochemist Harrison Brown, a member of the Manhattan Project who supervised the production of plutonium, advocated world government in the 1950s to impose mandatory controls over population growth, carried out, if necessary, through sterilization and forced abortions. White House science czar John HoldrenWhite House science czar John Holdren openly acknowledges Brown's writings influenced his decision to devote his career to the science of ecology. Holdren has echoed Brown's call for global government by advocating the United States should surrender sovereignty to a "Planetary Regime" armed with sufficient military power to enforce population limits on nations as a means of preventing a wide range of perceived dangers from global eco-disasters involving Earth's natural resources, climate, atmosphere and oceans. On page 260 of his 1954 book "The Challenge of Man's Future," Brown concluded "population stabilization and a world composed of completely independent sovereign states are incompatible." Chestnuts roasting on a Copenhagen fire ~ By Chuck Norris

Commentary from WorldNetDaily
Chuck Norris By Chuck Norris Posted: December 07, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 Copenhagen is on fire this week, and there's far more heating up than just the climate. While heads of state and others gather this week at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen (Dec. 7-18), bonfires have already been blazing for weeks on that European front. Let me see if I can summarize the chestnuts roasting on that Copenhagen fire. Shocking e-mail exchanges from scientists at an eminent global-warming research center in the United Kingdom have proven that key climate-change scientists have suppressed evidence to "trick" or "hide the decline" of global temperatures. Rather than focus on the audacity of the climate-gate cover up, Obama's top science adviser, John Holdren, downplayed the e-mails, telling Congress that the controversy involved a small group of scientists. And others like Sen. Barbara Boxer blamed the hackers who exposed the e-mails rather than the scientists who deceived the world with false global climate reports. Similarly, the U.N. was caught recently deleting documents that would disclose how member states are leading (or not leading) the way in self-greening efforts. The scientific journal Geophysical Research Letters documented that ice melt on Antarctica was the lowest in 30 years during the 2008-2009, a fact being intentionally ignored by NASA. A U.S. scholar is threatening to sue NASA (see video I have included at the bottom of this column) to prompt the agency to release climate-change data, which he says has been manipulated just like over in Britain. Officials in the Environmental Protection Agency gagged one of their own senior researchers after the 38-year employee submitted an internal critique of the EPA's climate change position. Unlike the U.S., China and India have already opposed foreign climate governance because it would jeopardize their national sovereignty. Nearly two months ago Lord Christopher Monckton, once science adviser to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, warned us that the real purpose of the conference was more about global government than global warming. In my former column, titled "Obama's one-world government," I've already detailed more than a dozen actual statements in the proposed summit treaty that threatens our national sovereignty, could severely cripple our already depressed economy and are so globally socialistic that they would make even a communist blush. Obama’s Science Czar John Holdren involved in unwinding “Climategate” scandal

From Canada Free Press
By Dr. Tim Ball and Judi McLeod Tuesday, November 24, 2009 Lift up a rock and another snake comes slithering out from the ongoing University of East Anglia Climate Research Unit (CRU) scandal, now riding as “Climategate”. Obama Science Czar John Holdren is directly involved in CRU’s unfolding Climategate scandal. In fact, according to files released by a CEU hacker or whistleblower, Holdren is involved in what Canada Free Press (CFP) columnist Canadian climatologist Dr. Tim Ball terms “a truculent and nasty manner that provides a brief demonstration of his lack of understanding, commitment on faith and willingness to ridicule and bully people”. “The files contain so much material that it is going to take some time t o put it all in context,” says Ball. “However, enough is already known to underscore their explosive nature. It is already clear the entire claims and positions of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) are based on falsified manipulated material and is therefore completely compromised. “The fallout will be extensive as material continues to emerge. Reputations of the scientists involved are already destroyed, however fringe players will continue to be identified and their reputations destroyed or sullied.” While the mainstream media is bending into pretzels to keep the scandal under the rug, Climategate is already the biggest scientific scandal in history because of the global policy implications. Obama's media intimidation works! ~ By Joseph Farah

From WorldNetDaily
Joseph FarahBy Joseph Farah Posted: October 26, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 While Fox News seems to be reveling in the audacious attacks directed against it by the White House and Democrats, the evidence suggests those assaults are, in fact, accomplishing their objectives. Ratings for Fox may be higher, but its coverage suggests the intimidation is actually working. Those who read WND and watch Fox News know it is not unusual for the TV network to pick up investigative reports that first appear in WND – sometimes with credit, often without. But when WND published a shocking book earlier this month called "Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret Underworld That's Conspiring to Islamize America," based in part on a daring six-month undercover operation inside the Council on American-Islamic Relations, Fox News blacked out coverage. No interviews with the authors. No interviews with the interns who penetrated the unindicted terrorist front group at great personal risk. No interest. Fox played it safe. Dalia MogahedWhen WND pointed out that a White House adviser, Dalia Mogahed, a supporter of Islamic Shariah law, was scheduled to be the keynote speaker at CAIR's annual fundraising dinner last weekend, again, Fox News took a powder. The cable network that had grabbed attention for recycling WND's original investigative reports on the extremism of Obama's czars – from Van Jones and Brian Jennings to John Holdren and Cass Sunstein – spiked any coverage of the Muslim Mafia exposés – including one linking support from a White House appointee. Mogahed is a senior analyst and executive director of the Gallup Center for Muslim Studies and serves on Obama's Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. She drew attention when she defended Shariah on a British television show hosted by a member of an extremist Muslim group, insisting the majority of women around the world associate Shariah with "gender justice." Even when Mogahed's name disappeared from the CAIR fundraising program following WND's exclusive reports – replaced by Jesse Jackson – Fox News didn't seem to notice. Why is Fox News AWOL? Holdren sought 'planetary regime' ~ By Jerome Corsi

From WorldNetDaily
Urges making U.S. government subject to U.N.-run apparatus Jerome R. CorsiBy Jerome R. Corsi Posted: October 10, 2009 ~ 12:15 am Eastern © 2009 WorldNetDaily John HoldrenWhite House science czar John Holdren has called for the United States to surrender sovereignty to a "Planetary Regime" armed with sufficient military power to enforce population limits on nations as a means of preventing a wide range of perceived dangers from global eco-disasters involving Earth's natural resources, climate, atmosphere and oceans. As previously reported, WND has obtained and reviewed a copy of the 1970s college textbook "Ecoscience: Population, Resources, Environment" that Holdren co-authored with Malthusian population alarmist Paul R. Ehrlich and Ehrlich's wife, Anne. The authors argued that involuntary birth-control measures, including forced sterilization, may be necessary and morally acceptable under extreme conditions, such as widespread famine brought about by "climate change." On page 943, the authors recommended the creation of a "Planetary Regime" created to act as an "international superagency for population, resources, and environment." The authors argued, "Such a Planetary Regime could control the development, administration, conservation, and distribution of all natural resources, renewable or nonrenewable, at least insofar as international implications exist." (Emphasis in original text.) In the next sentence, the authors specified the following conclusion: "Thus, the Regime could have the power to control pollution not only in the atmosphere and the oceans, but also in such freshwater bodies as rivers and lakes that cross international boundaries or that discharge into the oceans." Climate czar has it down cold ~ By Joseph Farah

From WorldNetDaily
Joseph FarahBy Joseph Farah Posted: October 07, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009
You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. – Obi Won Kenobi, "Star Wars"
No, Obi Won wasn't talking about the watering hole of the White House czars. He was describing the fictional Mos Eisley spaceport. He advised caution. And so do I – when it comes to the White House czars. As Henny Youngman might say: "Take John Holdren, the climate czar, please." Today he tells us the planet is heating up to the boiling point because of catastrophic levels of man-made carbon dioxide. But 40 years ago, he was proclaiming the dawn of a new ice age – with many of the same government prescriptions in mind. In the 1970s, Holdren said government would have to stop population growth to keep the planet habitable for those lucky enough to live through his plans. Fortunately, people were smarter in the 1970s. They didn't buy it. They kept having babies. They eventually elected Ronald Reagan when they got tired of Cassandra-like warnings about an imminent apocalypse caused by American capitalism and Christianity. Holdren's rhetoric 40 years ago about an impending ice age was just as dire as his more recent prognostications about global warming. In "Global Ecology," which he co-edited with Paul Ehrlich, he predicted the "destruction of all life on this planet" as one of the possible consequences of the cooling he foresaw. Holdren warned of coming ice age ~ By Jerome Corsi

From WorldNetDaily
Science chief argued for population control to limit 'global cooling' Posted: October 06, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern By Jerome R. Corsi © 2009 WorldNetDaily John HoldrenWhat is clear from the record going back over nearly four decades is that White House science czar John Holdren is a climate alarmist, even if he can't make up his mind whether the crisis is the Earth warming up or cooling down. But long before Holdren was the global warming Cassandra he is today, he was a global cooling alarmist predicting a new ice age. The only consistency seems to be that Holdren has always utilized climate hysteria to argue that government must mandate public policy measures to prevent imminent and otherwise unavoidable climate catastrophes. In the 1970s, Holdren's theme was that government-mandated population control was essential to prevent "eco-disasters" such as the foreseen coming new ice age; today Holdren urges immediate passage of the Obama administration's proposed cap-and-trade legislation to control carbon emissions before it is too late to save the planet from global warming. Obama's freak show ~ By Joseph Farah

From WorldNetDaily
Joseph FarahBy Joseph Farah Posted: October 06, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 I hope all you folks who voted for "change" have learned your lesson. I, too, was happy to see George W. Bush go. I was also happy we didn't get another Clinton in the White House. And, it's no secret I didn't like John McCain. But this guy, Barack Obama, is giving us all more than we bargained for in the way of craziness, chaos, radicalism, extremism and immorality on a scale that would possibly make even Bill Clinton blush. Well, maybe not that much. We've got a homosexual activist by the name of Kevin Jennings as czar of "safe schools." Talk about the fox guarding the chicken coop! This guy is a disciple of Harry Hay, founder of Radical Faeries and a longtime advocate for the North American Man-Boy Love Association. Do you feel like your child is safe with him in charge of school safety? Then there's science czar John Holdren who wrote in a college textbook that "illegitimate children" born to unwed mothers should be seized by the government and put up for adoption if the mother refuses to have an abortion. He also argued the Constitution supports "compulsory" abortion. Then there's Cass Sunstein, the regulatory czar, who explains that embryos are "just a handful of cells" and that an adult dog is more rational than a human baby. Now come the revelations about his nominee to be commissioner of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission – Chai Feldblum. She signed a manifesto praising polygamy and arguing traditional marriage should not be privileged above other forms of union. Another outspoken homosexual-rights activist – it seems almost a prerequisite in the Obama administration – she is a signatory to an online petition entitled "Beyond Same-Sex Marriage: A New Strategic Vision For All Our Families and Relationships." Among the stated "partnerships" the petition seeks to protect is "households in which there is more than one conjugal partner." She also proclaimed gay sex as "morally good" – not just neutral, mind you, but something God apparently smiles upon. [CLICK HERE TO READ MORE]

Holdren: Seize babies born to unwed women

From WorldNetDaily
Proposed government force adoption if mother refused to get abortion Posted: September 30, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern By Jerome R. Corsi © 2009 WorldNetDaily Science Czar John HoldrenObama science czar John Holdren stated in a college textbook that "illegitimate children" born to unwed mothers could be taken by the government and put up for adoption if the mother refused to have an abortion. Holdren, director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, argued that "illegitimate childbearing could be strongly discouraged" as a socioeconomic measure imposed to control population growth. As previously reported, WND has obtained a copy of the 1970s college textbook "Ecoscience: Population, Resources, Environment" that Holdren co-authored with Malthusian population alarmist Paul R. Ehrlich and Ehrlich's wife, Anne. The authors argued involuntary birth-control measures, including forced sterilization, may be necessary and morally acceptable under extreme conditions, such as widespread famine brought about by "climate change." On page 786, the authors wrote that one way to discourage illegitimate childbearing "might be to insist that all illegitimate babies be put up for adoption – especially those born to minors who generally are not capable of caring properly for a child alone." Alternatively, the authors suggested unwed mothers might place their babies up for adoption, writing: "If a single mother really wished to keep her baby, she might be obliged to go through adoption proceedings and demonstrate her ability to support and care for it." While observing that government-imposed coercive measures should be considered "only if milder measures fail completely," the authors acknowledged extreme ecological situations could justify governmental intervention with coercive population control measures, "It would even be possible to require pregnant single women to marry or have abortions, perhaps as an alternative to placement for adoption, depending on the society," they write. Holdren: Sterilize welfare recipients

From WorldNetDaily
Obama boss suggested ways to save planet, said fetus not a person Posted: September 23, 2009 ~ 7:56 pm Eastern By Jerome R. Corsi © 2009 WorldNetDaily Obama science czar John HoldrenObama science czar John Holdren stated in a college textbook that compulsory, government-mandated "green abortions" would be a constitutionally acceptable way to control population growth and prevent ecological disasters, including global warming, because a fetus was most likely not a "person" under the terms of the 14th Amendment. Holdren further suggested government-mandated population control measures might be inflicted in the United States against welfare recipients, writing on page 840: "There has been considerable talk in some quarters at times of forcibly suppressing reproduction among welfare recipients (perhaps by requiring the use of contraceptives or even by involuntary sterilizations). This may sadly foreshadow what our society might do if the human predicament gets out of hand." (Parenthesis in original text.) As previously reported, WND has obtained a copy of the 1970s college textbook "Ecoscience: Population, Resources, Environment" that Holdren co-authored with Malthusian population alarmist Paul R. Ehrlich and Ehrlich's wife, Ann. The authors argued involuntary birth-control measures, including forced sterilization, may be necessary and morally acceptable under extreme conditions, such as widespread famine brought about by "climate change." Writing on page 839 of the textbook, the authors state: "The common law and drafters of the U.S. Constitution did not consider a fetus a human being. Feticide was not murder in common law because the fetus was not considered to be a human being, and for purposes of the Constitution a fetus is probably not a 'person' within the meaning of the Fourteenth Amendment. Thus under the constitution, abortion is apparently not unlawful, although infanticide obviously is." [CLICK HERE TO READ MORE]

The ghoulish spirit of Margaret Sanger lives

By Michelle Malkin • July 10, 2009 02:40 PM Looks like Supreme Court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg isn’t the only one who’s been channeling eugenicist Margaret Sanger. Internet sleuth Zombie has a new report on John Holdren, President Obama’s science czar:
Forced abortions. Mass sterilization. A “Planetary Regime” with the power of life and death over American citizens. The tyrannical fantasies of a madman? Or merely the opinions of the person now in control of science policy in the United States? Or both? These ideas (among many other equally horrifying recommendations) were put forth by John Holdren, whom Barack Obama has recently appointed Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, Assistant to the President for Science and Technology, and Co-Chair of the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology — informally known as the United States’ Science Czar. In a book Holdren co-authored in 1977, the man now firmly in control of science policy in this country wrote that:
  • Women could be forced to abort their pregnancies, whether they wanted to or not;
  • The population at large could be sterilized by infertility drugs intentionally put into the nation’s drinking water or in food;
  • Single mothers and teen mothers should have their babies seized from them against their will and given away to other couples to raise;

Zombie’s got all the goods. Read the whole thing.

(NOTE: At the time of this post, zombietime.com was not able to be accessed. My first assumption is that the site was overloaded with traffic for very obvious reasons... but, then, could it be something more sinister? Did the science czar go to the internet czar and ask to have the zombie site shut down for national security reasons?)
