Global non-warming will be death of socialism ~ By Lord Christopher Monckton

Lord Monckton
Lord Monckton reveals end result of 'mad climate scare'

So, it is one thing if the Left disparages the global warming deniers, but it is a completely different issue when it comes to what many on the Left would like to do to any of us that question the idea that this world will be doomed because of man-caused global warming:
Let me give you a single, telling statistic. In a recent opinion poll, 27 percent of "Democrats" said they thought that anyone who questioned the party line on climate change should be arrested, charged, detained, interrogated, tried, convicted and imprisoned.

For the sake of argument, let us imagine that the "Democrats" are right and that, unless the West commits economic hara-kiri in the name of saving the planet for socialism, we are all doomed. Let us pretend that the grim profiteer of doom, Lord Stern, was right to assert that unless we shut down the West there is a 1-in-10 chance that the world will come to an end by 2100.

Even if the world really did face Thermageddon within this century, that fact would not in any way justify the “Democrats” in putting questioners of their beliefs into prison.
For now, to the Left's dismay, not only are we able to say what we think about anthropogenic climate change, but the nonconformists like Lord Monckton and people like myself still have the freedom to show the climate change hysteria or what it is: It is backed by both the Socialists and globalists. For now, the deniers only have to face the normal negative feedback from the cyber-bullies, and deal with the possibility of being blackballed in our careers. At this time, we still don't have to face jail time for our writing or speaking about our doubts regarding man-caused climate change.

But, that can change.  In fact, the current President did his best to transform America.  The change, as illustrated and emphasized in the video below, was intended to warm up Americans to accept Socialism.

I am sure hoping that the people who see this post will incite freedom-loving patriots to spread this story around.  There is another election coming in less than one year.  The Democrats will nominate a Socialist, whether it be Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders.  We don't have to allow one of them to occupy the White House.  However, as Lord Monckton mentions in this column, the American people would find out about the evils of Socialism, maybe in one generation.  Unfortunately, it may not take another election, as there is already a Socialist in the Oval Room.  And an election in November 2016 may not even happen.  Just sayin'...

The Socialist
So, I was looking through the videos in my archive, and I came across this one from 2012... It kind of goes along with the Democrat Debate the other night.... and the fact that Democrat=Socialism these days, more than ever! It wasn't exactly the change I was looking for!

Global non-warming will be death of socialism

The Forces of Darkness are gathering in Paris as I write. My own bags are packed, for the army of light and truth will be there, too, though in far smaller numbers than the enemy. I had hoped – we had all hoped – that with the fall of the Berlin Wall, the future of freedom…

Who is John Galt? ~ By Lord Monckton

Lord Monckton
Lord Monckton asks if freedom-loving tycoons will begin to vanish

You will find this column by Lord Monckton to be very informative as it examines the similarities and differences between Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged" and the real world of today:
Prescient though Ayn Rand was, she could not have foreseen the sheer, staggering number of deaths caused directly by socialism in its various hateful, hate-filled forms over the past century.

And now these murderous creatures propose to establish no less than a totalitarian world government, with overriding powers of taxation, of regulation and of enforcement. There is to be a new climate court to bring to heel the few nations whose leaders have found the courage to speak out against the screeching harpies of environmentalist socialism.

In the past, those who wanted to escape national or international socialism could escape from Germany or Russia or China. But, when very nearly every nation on Earth has signed the new and tyrannous Treaty of Paris, where shall we go, those of us in whose breast still burns that flame of freedom?
So, who is John Galt? You won't find that out in this commentary and blog post. You'll have to read "Atlas Shrugged" by Ayn Rand to find out. But at the same time, you may just learn that there may be a very nefarious reason why the Obama administration fears tea partiers more than ISIS. Just sayin'...

Who is John Galt?

Last year, the Ayn Rand Institute was kind enough to send me a copy of "Atlas Shrugged," the masterwork of that great prophetess of liberty and of free markets. I read all 1,100 pages in two days. For, although the novel has a powerful political message, and one that America is ignoring at her peril, it…

New word for the N.Y. Times: 'Fasmunists' ~ By Lord Monckton

Exclusive: Lord Monckton reacts to 'climate scam' piece warning of 'next genocide'

The odious Snyder deserves the minting of a new word. For there are two species of totalitarian socialism on this planet, alas, and that shambling, bleating wretch is the very embodiment and quintessence of both. There is communist socialism, which believes that everything that moves should be nationalized and that everything that doesn't move should be arrested or left to rust, and down with the United States. And there is fascist socialism, which believes grinding the poor under its jack-booted heel and cozying up to big business and allowing it to be independent just so long as it toes the party line, and down with the United States.

The New York Times and its dismal professor of silly walks and cupcake-baking are communists and fascists rolled up into one. They are fasmunists. It's an ugly word for ugly people. Heil Snyder!

New word for the N.Y. Times: 'Fasmunists'

The Marxstream news media have always been champions of every passing totalitarian fad, however murderous. Hitler only got away with the slaughter of 6 million Jews because the Western news media fawned upon him and demanded appeasement almost until the first shots were fired in the Second World War. Likewise, the totalitarian press fawned upon Communism,…

Chestnuts roasting on a Copenhagen fire ~ By Chuck Norris

Commentary from WorldNetDaily
Chuck Norris By Chuck Norris Posted: December 07, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 Copenhagen is on fire this week, and there's far more heating up than just the climate. While heads of state and others gather this week at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen (Dec. 7-18), bonfires have already been blazing for weeks on that European front. Let me see if I can summarize the chestnuts roasting on that Copenhagen fire. Shocking e-mail exchanges from scientists at an eminent global-warming research center in the United Kingdom have proven that key climate-change scientists have suppressed evidence to "trick" or "hide the decline" of global temperatures. Rather than focus on the audacity of the climate-gate cover up, Obama's top science adviser, John Holdren, downplayed the e-mails, telling Congress that the controversy involved a small group of scientists. And others like Sen. Barbara Boxer blamed the hackers who exposed the e-mails rather than the scientists who deceived the world with false global climate reports. Similarly, the U.N. was caught recently deleting documents that would disclose how member states are leading (or not leading) the way in self-greening efforts. The scientific journal Geophysical Research Letters documented that ice melt on Antarctica was the lowest in 30 years during the 2008-2009, a fact being intentionally ignored by NASA. A U.S. scholar is threatening to sue NASA (see video I have included at the bottom of this column) to prompt the agency to release climate-change data, which he says has been manipulated just like over in Britain. Officials in the Environmental Protection Agency gagged one of their own senior researchers after the 38-year employee submitted an internal critique of the EPA's climate change position. Unlike the U.S., China and India have already opposed foreign climate governance because it would jeopardize their national sovereignty. Nearly two months ago Lord Christopher Monckton, once science adviser to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, warned us that the real purpose of the conference was more about global government than global warming. In my former column, titled "Obama's one-world government," I've already detailed more than a dozen actual statements in the proposed summit treaty that threatens our national sovereignty, could severely cripple our already depressed economy and are so globally socialistic that they would make even a communist blush. Christopher Monckton: CAUGHT GREEN-HANDED!

From Science and Public Policy Institute (SPPI)
Cold facts about the hot topic of global temperature change after the Climategate scandal by Christopher Monckton of Brenchley November 30, 2009 THE WHISTLE BLOWS FOR TRUTH The whistleblower deep in the basement of one of the ugly, modern tower-blocks of the dismal, windswept University of East Anglia could scarcely have timed it better. In less than three weeks, the world’s governing class – its classe politique – would meet in Copenhagen, Denmark, to discuss a treaty to inflict an unelected and tyrannical global government on us, with vast and unprecedented powers to control all once-free world markets and to tax and regulate the world’s wealthier nations for its own enrichment: in short, to bring freedom, democracy, and prosperity to an instant end worldwide, at the stroke of a pen, on the pretext of addressing what is now known to be the non-problem of manmade “global warming”. Is world uniting in Copenhagen? ~ By Bob Unruh

From WorldNetDaily
International climate treaty feared for impact on liberties Posted: November 16, 2009 ~ 8:56 pm Eastern By Bob Unruh © 2009 WorldNetDaily A video (see at the bottom of this post) explaining the dangers of a U.N. treaty proposal promoted by President Obama that critics say would lead to a world government has received more than 3.5 million views since WND broke the story on the ominous possibilities, and now there is word from the Obama administration the plan might not be going so smoothly. In the video, Lord Christopher Monckton, a former science adviser to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, asserts the real purpose of the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen Dec. 7-18 is to use concern over "global warming" as a pretext to lay the foundation for a one-world government. At the U.N. Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen "this December, weeks away, a treaty will be signed," Lord Christopher Monckton told a Minnesota Free Market Institute audience at Bethel University in St. Paul. According to the Minnesota Free Market Institute, the video, as originally posted, has collected 2.2 million views and almost 700 pages of comments, but there also are more than 100 other cloned versions of Monckton's comments on YouTube and the aggregate views exceed 3.5 million. The video helped launch a national petition drive opposing the Copenhagen treaty at NoCapAndTrade.com, with its more than 135,000 messages to Congress opposing the plan. It's been discussed by Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Laura Ingraham and Michelle Malkin, among others. Now there are indications the light of information being spread about the potential problems is casting shadows on the proposal. "The more people learn about the supposed issue of 'climate change' and how green extremists intend to control our lives, the more skeptical they become," said Jeff Davis, president of the Minnesota Majority. Obama's 1-world government ~ By Chuck Norris

From WorldNetDaily
Chuck Norris By Chuck Norris Posted: October 25, 2009 ~ 9:13 pm Eastern © 2009 Halloween just got scarier – much scarier. I'm not talking about a new Hollywood slasher film or a new line of grotesque costumes, but a possible political nightmare scenario in which the White House could be positioned to sell out U.S. sovereignty, shred the Constitution and leave you and yours to the whims of foreign powers. Flying deep under Washington's radar is an upcoming (December) global climate change conference in Copenhagen, Denmark, under the guise of the "United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change." Virtually nothing has been said about it from the White House. But then again, I'm sure they think, who could be against working together for climate change? It all sounds pretty politically benign, doesn't it? Not according to Lord Christopher Monckton, once science policy adviser to Lady Margaret Thatcher, who read the treaty and said the Copenhagen conference is a cover for the beginnings of a one-world government. Monckton spoke to the Minnesota Free Market Institute in St. Paul, Minn.:
I have read that treaty and what it says is this: that a world government is going to be created. The word "government" actually appears as the first of three purposes of the new entity. The second purpose is the transfer of wealth from the countries of the West to Third World countries, in satisfaction of what is called, coyly, "climate debt" – because we've been burning CO2 and they haven't. And we've been screwing up the climate and they haven't. And the third purpose of this new entity, this government, is enforcement. How many of you think the word "election," or "democracy" or "vote," or "ballot" occurs anywhere in the 200 pages of that treaty? Quite right, it doesn't appear once.
Monckton then warned, if Obama signs the treaty, he would be flushing U.S. sovereignty down the global toilet. He cautioned, "But, in the next few weeks, unless you stop it, your president will sign your freedom, your democracy and your prosperity away forever – and neither you nor any subsequent government you may elect would have any power whatsoever to take it back again." Monckton further pointed out that, even though ratification of our president's signature on that treaty would take a 67 supermajority (two-thirds) of the Senate, it could pass a simple majority as an amendment to the cap-and-trade bill. Politifact.com (as well as many Left-leaning blogs) quickly criticized Monckton's conclusions as conspiratorial and climate-skepticism rhetoric, based upon the notion that the treaty is a draft and not a finalized document. But the apologetic of Politifact.com leaves the impression that the current draft is the roughest of cuts, when in reality it is the result of seven sessions of deliberations and revisions from several subgroups, including representatives from developed and developing countries ("parties"), "with a view to modifying it in the direction of consolidation and convergence." Thatcher adviser: Copenhagen goal is 1-world government

In an hour and a half lecture illustrated by slides featuring scientific data on a wide range of climate issues, Monckton refuted claims made by former Vice President Al Gore in his movie and book entitled “An Inconvenient Truth,” as well as scientific arguments made by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

Monckton argued that President Obama will sign the Copenhagen treaty at the December meeting, without seeking a two-thirds ratification of the treaty by the Senate, or any other type of Congressional approval.

“So, thank you, America. You were the beacon of freedom to the world. It is a privilege to stand on this soil of freedom while it is still free,” he continued. “But, in the next few weeks, unless you stop it, your president will sign your freedom, your democracy, and your humanity away forever.

UPDATE 04/08/14 - This post has been edited to reformat it for easier reading and some other slight changes. You should find that all links included in this post are active as of today.

In this update, I can tell you the good news... so far. I decided to check out the progress of "Hopenhagen" and just yesterday, April 7, 2014, at 11.35 EDT, there was this status update from TheGuardian.com:
Developing countries sharply felt the pain of the missed opportunity. The developed world had promised them billions of dollars in support while simultaneously removing the means to fulfill the pledge. They left Copenhagen calling the pseudo-deal a "suicide pact".

The question had been: could the world agree on meaningful, binding reductions in emissions to avoid dangerous climate change? Preceding the final day of negotiations, US president Barack Obama said: "While the reality of climate change is not in doubt … I think our ability to take collective action is."

Leading into the conference, expectations had been raised to extraordinary heights. A global advertising campaign run by the UN called for a treaty under the strapline 'Hopenhagen'. Writing during the meeting, the Guardian's George Monbiot said the 15th conference of parties was "the moment at which we turn and face ourselves. Here ... humankind decides what it is and what it will become."
So, this story, though it was written back in October of 2009, still has legs. Go figure. This original story by Jerome Corsi was written not long before Major Nidal Hassan's horrific terrorist attack (oops, I mean workplace violence incident) at Ft. Hood. Now, just before more news updates on "Hopenhagen," the environmental treaty that is written about in Jerome Corsi's column, there is "coincidentally" another attack on soldiers at Ft. Hood, this time perpetrated by Ivan Lopez, who was on various possibly psychotropic "medications" which could be for treating mental conditions. Is it me, or is it an odd "coincidence"? Could it be what Lord Monckton knows about the treaty being worked on at the United Nations climate change conference in Copenhagen? It may have been too soon, but was Jerome Corsi on to a story that is still in progress? Just sayin'...

A former science adviser to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher says the real purpose of the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen on Dec. 7-18 is to use global warming hype as a pretext to lay the foundation for a one-world government.

“At [the 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference in] Copenhagen this December, weeks away, a treaty will be signed,” Lord Christopher Monckton told a Minnesota Free Market Institute audience on Thursday at Bethel University in St. Paul.

“Your president will sign it. Most of the Third World countries will sign it, because they think they’re going to get money out of it. Most of the left-wing regimes from the European Union will rubber stamp it. Virtually nobody won’t sign it,” he told the audience of some 700 attendees.

“I read that treaty and what it says is this: that a world government is going to be created. The word ‘government’ actually appears as the first of three purposes of the new entity.

“The second purpose is the transfer of wealth from the countries of the West to Third World countries, in satisfaction of what is called, coyly, ‘climate debt’ – because we’ve been burning CO2 and they haven’t. We’ve been screwing up the climate and they haven’t. And the third purpose of this new entity, this government is enforcement.”

“But I think it is here, here in your great nation, which I so love and I so admire – it is here that perhaps, at this eleventh hour, at the fifty-ninth minute and fifty-ninth second, you will rise up and you will stop your president from signing that dreadful treaty, that purposeless treaty. For there is no problem with the climate and, even if there were, an economic treaty does nothing to [help] it.”

House Democrats refuse skeptic testimony: they don’t want Gore Humiliated

Capitol Hill Commies Protect Gore, Ban Scientist's Testimony
By Perry Peterson ~ Cave News Al Gore has never allowed anyone to publicly debate his position on global warming. He says it is man-made and that’s it. He refuses to debate. Washington Democrats in the House of Representatives have refused to allow debate during a global warming hearing today. They don’t want Gore humiliated. Washington Democrats in the House of Representatives have refused to allow debate during a global warming hearing today. They don’t want Gore humiliated. UK's Lord Christopher Monckton, a former science advisor to Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, claimed House Democrats have refused to allow him to appear alongside former Vice President Al Gore at a high profile global warming hearing on Friday April 24, 2009 at 10am in Washington. Monckton told Climate Depot that the Democrats rescinded his scheduled joint appearance at the House Energy and Commerce hearing on Friday. Monckton said he was informed that he would not be allowed to testify alongside Gore when his plane landed from England Thursday afternoon. “The House Democrats don't want Gore humiliated, so they slammed the door of the Capitol in my face,” Monckton told Climate Depot in an exclusive interview. “They are cowards.” [Continue reading]
