VIDEO: Cliven Bundy goes racist! (Or, did he?)

He just blew it all.... and now Harry Reid has something on him that none of us can deny..... Oh, Crap!

Now there is attention on Cliven again, and this time very negative, which takes the attention off of Dirty Harry for all the unethical stuff he's doing....

See my problem? I have some good stuff on Harry, but now I have to cover Cliven Bundy's statements.

The above is something I wrote to a friend in a Private Message on Facebook the night I posted this video, April 24, 2014. I had a real problem with what Cliven Bundy had said. My very first reaction was of total shock, and I was repulsed. There were many Conservative pundits that had the same reaction that I did. There was no way that Cliven Bundy could be defended, nor would anyone want to even try to spin it in a way that didn't sound so controversial.

While I still feel that what Cliven Bundy said sounded blatantly racist, there have been subsequent reports that his remarks had been edited and were taken out of context with what he was really meaning to say. While I have the intention to report on those newer stories, it does not take away from what I wrote to my friend in the text above. What Cliven Bundy said was to take the attention away from what was being reported in the days before his wayward remarks that you may not have heard since Mark Twain wrote "Adventures of Huckleberry Finn." Just when there was highly critical information being reported concerning Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) problems with ethics that we could have been talking about, Cliven Bundy had to go and have his "rant."

The Cliven Bundy spiel was detrimental, but maybe for much more than just the racist connotations we initially believed. For that reason, I stand by the description that I wrote for this video. Just sayin'....

And, as the Justice Department-run grand juries carry on – usually endlessly until after the administration in power leaves office – little to nothing happens in terms of law enforcement. If indeed a person or two wind up being indicted, they are almost always lower or middle level officials who take the fall for the higher ups, including but not limited to the president himself.

Why do these lower and middle level officials take the proverbial fall for their masters who put them in power? Assuming that they have not been bribed – which does happen – this is because if they do not play ball they will have no chance of being appointed to any future government position and could even risk, as in the Clinton years in particular, being killed. During these years, over 80 government witnesses and others capable of implicating the Bonnie and Clyde of American politics in major crimes simply vanished off the face of the earth like a Malaysian airliner. One can call my “observations” rank speculation and so-called conspiracy theory, but the law of averages would more than suggest that of the 80, at least a few were offed by the henchmen of Bill and Hill.

So many of us during the 1990's felt that both Bill and Hillary Clinton were monsters who were able to get away with murder. However, as Larry Klayman points out, the Clintons were just into the corruption for protection of their personal power. In contrast, President Barack Hussein Obama and his corrupt administration are trying to end American exceptionalism and trying to get and keep the Marxists in power.  The problem is that the corruption will keep going on, and there will never be justice, as Klayman points out in this column, unless "we ourselves have the courage, as the Founding Fathers did in 1776, to risk all to save the nation and by extension ourselves and loved ones."

Having been a U.S. Justice Department prosecutor and self-appointed crime fighter for many years, founding and running Judicial Watch and now Freedom Watch, I have come to learn the hard way how our so-called government attempts to cover up its deceit, fraud and corruption. Indeed, there is a formula that applies in almost every case. This helps explain why congressional committees have not been able to obtain even a scintilla of justice for the atrocities committed by President Barack Hussein Obama and his comrades in scandals ranging from Fast and Furious-gate to Benghazi-gate, IRS-gate, Extortion 17-gate and a host of other egregious violations of the public’s trust.

A textbook Washington scandal can usually begin with a whistleblower – that is, someone inside the government who has a conscience and “blows the whistle” over criminal activity – coming forward to the press. When this happens, the media seize on and frequently sensationalize the story to reach readers and, in the case of cable news, viewers. After the story takes hold and begins its journey to reach critical mass, congressmen and senators exploit it to further their political interests and goals, appearing on Fox News or MSNBC and CNN, depending on which proverbial ox is gored – left or right, Democrat or Republican.

A week ago, the lame-duck U.S. Senate refused to pass the so-called DREAM Act, which had been passed by the House in its lame-duck session. There will be some talk of reviving the bill in the next Congress, but the ground has shifted. The next immigration reform debate will be about Mexico.

The truth is beginning to dawn on amnesty proponents. We cannot have a rational debate about immigration reform in the U.S. until there is emigration reform in Mexico.

Last month I participated in a debate in Denver with Gustavo Arellano, the leftist southern California journalist and author of the "Ask a Mexican" column which runs in a dozen or more left-leaning "alternative weeklies" across the country. The topic of the debate – never formally declared – had something to do with the success – or lack of it – of assimilation into American society by illegal aliens from Mexico and Latin America.

Whatever the hopes of the sponsors of the event, the debate turned out to be a long conversation not about politics or pending legislation but about culture – American culture. In retrospect, I wish we had also scheduled a second debate – about Mexican culture.

Given that 70 percent of the 15-20 million illegal aliens in our country are from Mexico, and the fact that Mexico officially encourages and facilitates this exodus, it is natural for Americans to have many questions about Mexico.

I think these questions should be encouraged, and I hope the defenders of illegal immigration can provide some answers.

The Sestak Controversy has the Potential to be Obama’s Watergate

Here is a very interesting story that I had not heard about tonight. The state-controlled lamestream media has obviously kept the story buried far below the radar.

(My thanks to AlinskyDefeater on Twitter for letting us know about this potential disaster for the Obama Administration!)

As we all learned during Watergate it is often the cover up and not the actual act that brings down those in the highest offices. The longer the White House stonewalls on the Sestak issue the more likely that, if a scandal is uncovered, it will reach higher and higher in the Obama White House.

Will we all look back someday and wonder why the nation was so transfixed on Health Care Reform while a scandal was brewing capable of bringing down an Administration? Because the White House continues to avoid questions, there is no way to know at this time.

As I noted in an earlier post, the claims of Representative Joe Sestak against the White House could result in a criminal investigation. Now, Congressman Darrell Issa is suggesting that if the White House continues to stonewall on the matter that, "If the public doesn’t receive a satisfactory answer, the next step would be to call for a special prosecutor, which is well within the statute."

This story has the potential to be one of the biggest, if not the biggest story of the Obama Administration, and yet somehow it is flying under the radar at present.

Lobbyists - with big money behind them - are in control of what Congress does. Does it make you wonder if it matters who is elected? Hmmm... a question worth pondering...

Okay, I'm done pondering. The answer is, YES, it DOES matter who we elect! We need to find people that will stick to the constitution, and not be bought off. Well, that is the hard part. Who's going to vote for some "loser" that doesn't care about money and power?

Hopefully, our nation's constitutional reawakening will begin to deliver us from the precipice. There is no constitutional authority for two-thirds to three-quarters of what Congress does. Our Constitution's father, James Madison, explained, "The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government, are few and defined ... (to be) exercised principally on external objects, as war, peace, negotiation, and foreign commerce."

If there is anything good to say about Democratic control of the White House, Senate and House of Representatives, it's that their extraordinarily brazen, heavy-handed acts have aroused a level of constitutional interest among the American people that has been dormant for far too long. Part of this heightened interest is seen in the strength of the tea-party movement around the nation. Another is the angry reception that many congressmen received at their district town-hall meetings. Yet another is seen by the exchanges on the nation's most popular radio talk shows such as Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin and others. Then there's the rising popularity of conservative/libertarian television shows such as Glenn Beck, John Stossel and Fox News.

While the odds-on favorite is that the Republicans will do well in the fall elections, Americans who want constitutional government should not see Republican control as a solution to what our founders would have called "a long train of abuses and usurpations." Solutions to our nation's problems require correct diagnostics and answers to questions like: Why did 2008 presidential and congressional candidates spend over $5 billion campaigning for office? Why did special interests pay Washington lobbyists over $3 billion that same year?

What are reasons why corporations, unions and other interest groups fork over these billions of dollars to lobbyists and into the campaign coffers of politicians?

One might say that these groups are simply extraordinarily civic-minded Americans who have a deep and abiding interest in elected officials living up to their oath of office to uphold and defend the U.S. Constitution. Another response is these politicians, and the people who spend billions of dollars on them, just love participating in the political process. If you believe either of these explanations, you're probably a candidate for some medicine, a straitjacket and a padded cell.

A far better explanation for the billions going to the campaign coffers of Washington politicians and lobbyist lies in the awesome government power and control over business, property, employment and other areas of our lives. Having such power, Washington politicians are in the position to grant favors and commit acts that if committed by a private person would land him in jail.

I recently had someone on Twitter accuse me of “alarmist propaganda” – presumably “Right Wing,” although I don’t believe they said that. But what other kind is there? After all, if you wish to believe the modern liberal viewpoint, the 60s could never have happened. No way, were there ever, or have there ever been, left-wing alarmists. But, in the spirit of being a reporter – or at least a retired one – I looked at my own beliefs and examined my motives and weighed and measured the scope of my alleged bias. It’s necessary to do this, because the place with the deep hole and the pointy sticks at the bottom, is often difficult to see. It lies hidden amongst the leaves of supposed objectivity – fallen leaves from a season long past. The pitfall is just out of sight, sometimes because we refuse to see it and other times because we’ve been conditioned not to. But it’s there. And the greatest among us and the least among us, have decorated its’ depths with their bones. So what is the end of the world? If my bias exists, it is there due to experience and not some half-witted imagination, or the dull-witted excuse that I am listening to some experts or advisors. I have no experts and no advisors, except for the English Bulldog, and his response to everything is either bleary eyes, or an unapologetic, breaking of wind. Either way, and either end of the dog, proves to be not much help. But I have some experience with endings. Witness for a moment the dark, ruined hallways of a parliament building in Mogadishu. Their government had collapsed just two years before the arrival of U.S. troops in country. Yet, it only took two years for drugs, corruption, thievery and murder to reduce the country to a wasteland. The huge parliament building and its ransacked interior had even had the electrical wires ripped out of the walls. Mr. Rove equivocated; I don't know whether he is of the opinion that leveling such a harsh charge (as the latter) would be unseemly, or he simply didn't want to risk being that wrong. Neither am I aware of what Rove or O'Reilly actually believes, but my opinion has been made quite clear. Last week, video footage began to surface in the alternative press produced by filmmaker James O'Keefe, 25, and his partner Hannah Giles, a 20-year-old student. Through undercover work, they were able to very effectively implicate the Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now (ACORN) in providing counseling to Giles and O'Keefe (who were posing as a prostitute and her pimp, respectively) that amounted to criminal conspiracy. In the past, ACORN employees have been involved in (and, in more than two dozen cases, convicted of) voter fraud; typically, the group has claimed that these exceptional and infrequent crimes were committed by "rogue" employees. The organization also has deep and long-standing ties to President Obama, who brought them on board in various advisory and administrative capacities when he took office. He formerly provided them with legal representation, taught classes for them, and they endorsed his 2008 presidential campaign. This, of course, gives rise to the question of how much ACORN learned from Obama, given that he instructed their operatives. While public outrage over the deeds of the taxpayer-funded ACORN is apparent, and the Senate voted on Sept. 15 to cut off federal funding to the group, the establishment press has essentially ignored one of the largest and most widespread instances of corruption tied to government in history. Fired inspector says Obama's explanation of dismissal a 'total lie' Posted: June 17, 2009 10:08 pm Eastern © 2009 WorldNetDaily The Federal Bureau of Investigation has begun looking into a dispute that is linked to an AmeriCorps money scandal that has fingers pointing all the way up to the White House because of President Obama's dismissal of an inspector general who was on the case. According to a report in the Sacramento Bee, acting U.S. Attorney Lawrence G. Brown has confirmed the agency is looking into the "circumstances" regarding the alleged destruction of e-mails regarding a dispute over the handling of money at Mayor Kevin Johnson's "brainchild" St. HOPE Academy, which had been investigated after allegations that public funds were misused. As WND reported earlier, U.S. Sen. Charles Grassley is asking for an investigation into Obama's firing of the independent inspector general, Gerald Walpin, who had been charged with rooting out corruption in the AmeriCorps program – and had sought action against Obama's friend, Johnson. Walpin told WND in an interview he didn't think the timing of his firing was a coincidence, and indeed, he said, "I was fired for doing my job." Radio host Rush Limbaugh accused the administration of breaking the law by firing Walpin, attributing it to "political cronyism" and declaring, "Alberto Gonzales as attorney general fired a couple of U.S. attorneys. He took hell for it. This is bigger. Inspectors general are supposed to be completely above politics." One of the participants in the Bee forum page said, "This story will be bigger than Watergate IF the facts are allowed the light of day." A settlement had been reached in the St. HOPE case that required the return of $400,000 of "misused grants for AmeriCorps volunteers." While Walpin's investigation suggested no more federal money be distributed through those specific channels, Rick Maya, who left his job as executive director with St. HOPE recently, claimed in his resignation letter a member of the charter school's board had deleted e-mails by Johnson during the federal investigation, according to the newspaper. That allegation caught the interest of Brown, who confirmed to the newspaper the FBI investigation was open, although he was "not at liberty to discuss the details." The newspaper said while the academy was under subpoena, Maya notified the board that board member Sam Oki allegedly had accessed – and deleted – some of the e-mail in the academy system. "We had to pay thousands of dollars to recover the information deleted from our e-mail system as a result of this highly inappropriate and potentially unlawful incursion into our e-mail system," Maya's letter said, according to the newspaper. "We are still unsure whether all of the deleted information has been recovered." To the newspaper, Oki denied the allegation but declined to comment further. But to Fox news, and other media organizations willing to interview him since his abrupt dismissal, Walpin said Obama's explanation that Walpin was "confused" and "disoriented" and that was why he was dismissed was "absolutely wild." He also appeared on the Glenn Beck show on Fox today, responding quickly, accurately and coherently to a long list of instructions and questions, apparently to test his "confusion."
