Host with heart trouble says he might not have survived with Obamacare By Joe Kovacs Posted: January 06, 2010 ~ 12:45 pm Eastern © 2010 WorldNetDaily PALM BEACH, Fla. – On Rush Limbaugh's first day back on the air after suffering chest pains similar to a heart attack, the most listened-to radio host in America said he was happy the scare took place before Democrat-inspired sweeping changes take effect in America's health-care system. "I wanted to say I'm just glad this happened before 2013 and Obama's health care went into effect, because I might not have survived it," Limbaugh said today. "There was not one shred of any Obamacare in any of the care I received. ... Remember, Obamacare requires you to have insurance or you get fined, and I don't have insurance, and I will get fined and go to jail before I buy it." Limbaugh, who described himself as "one of the 47 million uninsured Americans," said the pain he experienced in Hawaii was "intense." The 58-year-old was hurried to the Queen's Medical Center in Honolulu Dec. 29, after calling his girlfriend, Kathryn Rogers, on his cell phone, telling her, "I think I'm having a heart attack." He says Rogers and staff at the Kahala Hotel and Resort burst into his room to come to his aid. "All of a sudden, pain came roaring back worse than ever. They had to sort of pin me down to keep me from writhing around on the floor." "I never came close to losing consciousness. My life did not flash before me. I didn't think I was going to die, but I did think this was the big one." READ FULL STORY >
