By Erik Rush Posted: June 11, 2009 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 The presidency of George W. Bush – his popularity, approval numbers and so forth – was razed to the ground on the basis of one invalid claim: "Bush lied" (regarding his accusation that Saddam Hussein's regime possessed weapons of mass destruction, this being the justification for invading Iraq). Let's assume, just for the sake of an amusing mental exercise, that President Bush's charge was indeed a lie. If this lie was Hurricane Katrina (actually an amusing if ironic analogy in itself), it pales beside the Great Flood of omissions, rationalizations and outright fabrications to which Americans are subjected on a regular basis by President Obama. But it just doesn't matter. One could enumerate the dozens of statements Obama woodenly delivered during the 2008 campaign that were assertions only a fool would believe, but could not be directly proven: His ignorance of Rev. Jeremiah Wright's racism, unawareness of William Ayers' terrorist past, and non-involvement with the nefarious Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN). Yet, these are trifles compared to the counterfeit oratory he's pulled off with impunity since becoming president. [Continue reading]Digg story

Rush Limbaugh pummels Obama on birth certificate ~ By Joe Kovacs
Radio giant clowns about president's similarities, differences with God Posted: June 10, 2009 2:38 pm Eastern By Joe Kovacs © 2009 WorldNetDaily Nationwide attention about President Obama's lack of producing a long-form birth certificate proving his eligibility for office got a boost today when top-rated radio host Rush Limbaugh joked about the subject in comparing Obama to God. Asking rhetorically what God has in common with Obama, Limbaugh said, "Neither has a birth certificate." "How do they differ?" Limbaugh continued. "God does not think he's Obama. And there's another difference. Liberals love Obama." Limbaugh repeated the punch lines several times throughout his show and noted, "another difference is that Obama gets better press. ... Another difference is that God only demands to be worshipped once a week." Later, he sprinkled in other differences, including:God asks for only 10 percent of your money God gives you freedom to live your life as you choose God's plan to save us is actually written down for you to readUpon hearing the discussion, one listener in Miami phoned in to tell Limbaugh, "You're acting like you're God." The host responded, "I am better than most people but I don't think I'm God. Obama does. He's got a messianic complex." Limbaugh commented that left-leaning listeners "can't stand any comedy about Obama." The comparison to God comes after recent comments by Newsweek editor Evan Thomas, who said on MSNBC's "Hardball" that Obama was "sort of God." With the exception of extensive coverage by WND, the subject of Obama's eligibility for office based on his birth record has received little, if any, attention from large media outlets. 100 days in office, Obama coronated Messiah ~ By Drew Zahn
By Drew Zahn © 2009 WorldNetDaily On his 100th day in office, President Obama will be "crowned" in messianic imagery at New York City's Union Square. Artist Michael D'Antuono's painting "The Truth" – featuring Obama with his arms outstretched and wearing a crown of thorns upon his head – will be unveiled on April 29 at the Square's South Plaza. According to a statement released about the portrait, "The 30" x 54" acrylic painting on canvas depicts President Obama appearing much like Jesus Christ on the Cross: atop his head, a crown of thorns; behind him, the dark veil being lifted (or lowered) on the Presidential Seal. But is he revealing or concealing, and is he being crucified or glorified?" Even the title of the piece, "The Truth," suggests a play on biblical themes, as Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Limbaugh: I Hope Obama Fails
Transcript from The Rush Limbaugh Show on Friday, January 16, 2009RUSH: I got a request here from a major American print publication. "Dear Rush: For the Obama [Immaculate] Inauguration we are asking a handful of very prominent politicians, statesmen, scholars, businessmen, commentators, and economists to write 400 words on their hope for the Obama presidency. We would love to include you. If you co
uld send us 400 words on your hope for the Obama presidency, we need it by Monday night, that would be ideal." Now, we're caught in this trap again. The premise is, what is your "hope." My hope, and please understand me when I say this. I disagree fervently with the people on our side of the aisle who have caved and who say, "Well, I hope he succeeds. We've got to give him a chance." Why? They didn't give Bush a chance in 2000. Before he was inaugurated the search-and-destroy mission had begun. I'm not talking about search-and-destroy, but I've been listening to Barack Obama for a year-and-a-half. I know what his politics are. I know what his plans are, as he has stated them. I don't want them to succeed. [Continue reading]

Eligibility battle rages on 3 fronts
From OBAMA WATCH CENTRAL By Bob Unruh © 2009 WorldNetDaily Officials at Occidental College in Los Angeles, Calif., have been served with a demand to produce records concerning Barack Obama's attendance there during the 1980s because they could document whether he was attending as a foreign national – in one of three fronts now established by those contesting the president-elect's constitutional eligibility for the Oval Office. The Supreme Court and Congress also both are being challenged to address the worries that Obama doesn't meet the requirements of the U.S. Constitution that the president be a "natural born" citizen. WND has reported on a long list of legal cases raising questions over the issue, and several of those have reached the U.S. Supreme Court already. Justices have so far declined to give any of the cases full hearings on their merits, but another conference remains on the Supreme Court docket for Jan. 23 on the issue. "If Obama is sworn in as president, we will file a Petition for Writ of 'Quo Warranto,' a case that will challenge Obama as being ineligible to serve as president because he is 'not qualified,'" said Philip J. Berg, a lawyer who has brought several cases to court. Berg, whose information is on his ObamaCrimes.com website, indicated the issue isn't going away. Orly Taitz, a California lawyer whose dispute remains pending before the high court, agreed, noting that one of the hearings already is scheduled for the days following Obama's inaugural on Tuesday. Taitz said her arguments rest on precedents from both the California Supreme Court, which years ago removed a candidate for president from the ballot because he was only 34, and the U.S. Supreme Court's affirmation of that ruling. The Constitution requires a president to be 35. [Continue reading]digg story, submitted by my friend, AmericanAngle

Detroit Free Press: Impeach before Bush leaves office
It's unclear precisely how those two ideas can co-exist. Riley doesn't explain how impeachment will prevent Bush from enacting his bad economic policies, while simultaneously not distracting Congress from developing its own economic policies.Everything is unclear to these progressive folks at ImpeachforPeace.org, that is certainly evidence of those horrible, insidious behavioral disorders, BDS and ODD.
