Pat Buchanan: Where's affirmative action in U.S. Senate?
Pat Buchanan bristles at the thought: While one governor wants to appoint Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg, who doesn't vote and talks like a, you know, valley girl, not-yet-convicted Gov. Blagojevich appoints a highly qualified Roland Burris and Sen. Reid shows his hubris. Pat says it's hypocrisy, and the Senators should practice what they preach!

And yet, the Senate Democrats are always whining that everybody must make their institutions look like America, but where is their affirmative action when it comes to having a Senate, even if just the Democrat Caucus, look like America? I agree, Pat, that is sheer hypocrisy!
