How to turn red states blue - By Joseph Farah

At one time, the media had used red to denote states on the Democrat side, and blue for the Republican states. The current use of Republican red and Democrat blue began only eight years ago. It has been attributed to the late Tim Russert. He first used this color scheme in 2000, according to the Washington Post. (And here I thought it was just me.)
