Americans condemn Obama's rudeness, reach out to Israel

It is hard to believe that Obama could be so rude to Netanyahu! Oh, wait...
In a speech before the American Israel Public Affairs Committee Policy Conference on Monday, however, Netanyahu rebuffed the president's push.

"Jerusalem is not a settlement. It's our capital," Netanyahu said.

The next day, Netanyahu and a delegation of Israelis met with Obama at the White House, only to watch the president walk out of the meeting.

Netanyahu and his delegation, the Times of London reports, grew so suspicious of Obama's intentions after the meeting "soured," that rather than remain and reconsider, as the president suggested, they retreated to the Israeli Embassy "to ensure that the Americans were not listening in" on their discussions.

Shocked by what some news reports are calling President Obama's "ambush" and "humiliation" of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington, D.C., a group of Americans are doing an end around the increasingly hostile White House and reaching out to directly to the Israeli leader.

Earlier this week, Obama walked out of a meeting with Netanyahu at the White House, inviting the Israeli leader to remain alone and reconsider his negotiation stance … or get out.

"I'm still around," the daily newspaper Yediot Aharonot quoted Obama as saying, before walking out on the stunned Netanyahu. "Let me know if there is anything new."

WND columnist Janet Porter of Faith2Action was among those aghast at the president's actions.

"While President Obama hugs dictators and smiles for photo-ops with enemies of freedom around the world, I was appalled at how he treated Prime Minister Netanyahu – our best friend in the Middle East," said Porter in a statement.

Consequently, Porter's organization has acted to assure the Israeli government that any perceived animosity from the Obama White House does not represent the feelings of all Americans.

Through a cooperative effort with a florist in Jerusalem, Faith2Action has launched the Israel Friendship Project, which invites Americans to send dozens of yellow roses – a symbol of friendship – directly to Netanyahu as a measure of support and encouragement.

Included in each dozen roses – which are priced at the symbolic cost of $19.48, after the year 1948, in which Israel was reestablished as a nation – is a card that reads, "Dear Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: Be encouraged, Americans stand with you. God bless you."

The card concludes with the biblical verse, "The Lord builds up Jerusalem," from Psalm 147:2.

May Day! Americans call upon God to forgive nation

A call to prayer day is scheduled for May 1, 2010, at the Lincoln Memorial.

However, [Janet Porter] said the good news is there's a way to break that curse.

"The checklist has been provided in 2 Chronicles 7:14: 1) humble ourselves, 2) pray, 3) seek God's face, and 4) repent and turn from our wicked ways," she wrote. "That's exactly what we are going to do two months from now on May 1."

Christian and Jewish leaders are inviting Americans to join them at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., to pray and repent for how the nation has turned from God.

"May Day: a Cry to God for Our Nation in Distress" will take place May 1 from sunrise to 2 p.m. at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C.

"Our nation faces what is perhaps the most serious moral crisis since the civil war as we've turned our backs on God and have clearly displeased him," Dr. James Dobson said in an invitation to Americans to attend the event. "May Day 2010 is a time to come together and proclaim what God has done in the past, to pray for forgiveness and to plead for God's mercy on all of us."

They will gather for one purpose: repentance.

The group will repent for how the nation has turned from God in every area of influence: 1) business 2) government, 3) media, 4) arts and entertainment, 5) education, 6) the family and 7) religion and invite God back into each area of Americans' lives.

Dobson is part of a 36-member committee organizing the event. Other committee members include Rep. Randy Forbes, R-Va., Rep. Trent Franks, R-Ariz., Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, WND columnist and Faith2Action President Janet Porter, WND senior staff reporter Jerome Corsi, Tim Wildmon of the American Family Association, Wendy Wright of Concerned Women for America, Don VanCurler of Coral Ridge Ministries, Mat Staver of Liberty Counsel, Dr. Rick Scraborough of Vision America, Troy Newman of Operation Rescue, Dr. Jerry Newcombe of Coral Ridge Hour, Chaplain Gordon James Klingenschmitt and others.

Dobson said the May Day committee is asking thousands of pastors and churches to get involved in the highly anticipated event. He urged them to call (405)796-PRAY or (405)796-7729. Churches may register for May Day at MayDay2010.org.

A Facebook page has been created to help spread the word about the event. GOD TV will provide live coverage of the event.

Now you can watch eligibility story

Joseph Farah produces 1st feature documentary on Obama mystery Posted: July 24, 2009 12:00 am Eastern © 2009 WorldNetDaily WASHINGTON – WND Editor Joseph Farah has produced the first major DVD documentary on the critical issues surrounding the constitutional eligibility of Barack Obama to serve as president – but it wasn't easy. In fact, during the course of shooting and editing "A Question of Eligibility," the award-winning filmmaking team, including veterans of many controversial movie projects, made the unusual request to keep its identity secret for fear of retribution from the administration. "That's how hot this topic is," said Farah. "That's how hot this movie is." "A Question of Eligibility" is expected to ship to customers on Aug. 4, the date Obama claims as his 48th birthday. Preorders are being accepted exclusively at the WND Superstore. "I guess you could say it's a special birthday surprise for Obama," said Farah. "But, honestly, I don't think he'll like it. In fact, I believe the facts revealed in this documentary keep Obama awake at night. This eligibility issue is the only issue that threatens not only the future of his presidency, but almost everything he thinks he has already accomplished as president." In "A Question of Eligibility," Farah chose four key presenters to bring the issue home – WND senior staff writer Jerome Corsi, the No. 1 New York Times bestselling author of "The Obama Nation"; Orly Taitz, one of the most visible attorneys involved in filing lawsuits challenging Obama to produce proof of his qualifications for office; Alan Keyes, a participant in one of those lawsuits, a presidential candidate himself, and the Republican candidate who opposed Obama in his successful bid to become a U.S. senator, the job that brought him to national attention; and Janet Porter, an activist and pundit who writes a weekly column for WND. "What we have produced here is a compelling and shocking documentary that will appeal both to those already steeped in the details of the eligibility story and those who need a video introduction to the major issues," said Farah. Watch Obama commercial they don't want you to see

Fox, CNN, MSNBC refuse ads questioning Barack's eligibility © 2009 WorldNetDaily Barack Obama's campaign officials and transition office repeatedly have rejected reporters' requests for comment on questions raised over his lack of documentation regarding his birth and the resulting concerns over his eligibility to be president. Now a number of media organizations apparently don't want questions raised either. WND columnist Janet Porter told WND she found that out when her organization, Faith2Action.org, tried to purchase airtime to publicize information about the eligibility concerns. She told WND that national networks that refused to sell her time for a 60-second commercial included CNBC, MSNBC, Headline News, CNN and Fox. Washington, D.C., outlets for the same organizations did the same. "With the date for congressional approval (of the Electoral College today), we wanted them to have access to the facts," she told WND. "Congress is sworn to uphold the Constitution." She said the donors who contributed the funding that was to be used for the ads were being contacted to find out whether they wanted to reach another direction in the media. [Continue reading]

My 2009 resolutions - By Janet Porter

Janet writes, "I still need to write my new year's resolutions ... and a WND article. I'm all about multi-tasking, so this year I'm going to attempt to do both at once. That way, I have between 10,000 and 20,000 accountability partners who read this and may want to join me, at least in part." I just want to tell Janet, I know the feeling! To continue on, Janet writes:

A lot of people don't make resolutions because they have a poor track record of keeping them. One thing's for sure, if you don't set a goal, you're sure not to make it. I also think there's great value in writing them down. Habakkuk 2:2-3 says: Then the LORD answered me and said: Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. [Continue reading]

Rathergate II: Certification of Live Birth a clear forgery - by Janet Porter

What was posted was not a birth certificate, but something that resembles a "Certification of Live Birth" or COLB, which, even if authentic, does not prove "natural born" U.S. citizenship. read more | digg story, submitted by Jam37

Newscast from the Future

By Janet Porter This week, I decided to do something different – my column is in video form. It's a newscast from a future we must make sure we never see. In it, you'll get a glimpse into our nation should Barack Obama be elected president – complete with the kinds of people he'll appoint and policies he'll enact based on Sen. Obama's real promises, positions, record and advisers. It would be comical if it weren't so scary. It is an eye-opening look at what the future could hold if we don't do everything we can to prevent it. I encourage you to watch it (rather than read it) and forward it to everyone you know in an effort to sound the alarm before it's too late … or the news we watch next January will look something like this: Watch the video, and/or continue reading digg story, submitted by monboy2303

Letter from a future prisoner - By Janet Porter

I found this column tonight, almost a year after it was written by Janet Folger (now Janet Porter)- or should that be almost two years BEFORE it was written? At the moment most forms of Christianity are illegal in Islamic Nations and Communist nations (i.e. half of the earth). Adherents are imprisoned and/or put to death. Soon Biblical Christianity will be illegal in the Western World. This is because Christianity is about hatred, so they say, i.e. of evil. As child-killing and perversion is law, goodness is criminal. With the election coming in less than four weeks, and with Barack Obama being the Democrat candidate instead of Hillary Clinton, this column should be something to think about. Will we make the "same" mistake by voting for a 3rd Party candidate instead of John McCain, making it possible for Barack Obama to bring about what Janet prophetically wrote about a year ago? You decide!
