Grass-roots rebellion: Voters targeting RINOs, incumbents ~ By Henry Lamb

Commentary from WorldNetDaily
Henry Lamb By Henry Lamb Posted: January 30, 2010 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2010 President Barack Obama told reporters that he rode the same wave of public anger into office that brought Scott Brown into Ted Kennedy's Senate seat. Not quite. The wave of public anger that elected Scott Brown is focused on Obama and the congressional Democrats who are pushing his policies. The public anger is more than justified. Both the president and Congress have turned a deaf ear to the expressed will of the people throughout the first year of the new administration. Even after the candidates Obama endorsed and campaigned for in Virginia, New Jersey and Massachusetts all lost convincingly, Democrat strategists are advising the leadership to "show character" by fighting even harder to impose government-controlled health care. They would, were it not for the inconvenient fact that every representative and 33 senators must face the "angry public" at the polls this year. All across the country, local, state, and national organizations are preparing to choose a new future for America. The future America wants is controlled by neither Democrats nor Republicans, but by elected officials who honor their pledge to "…preserve, protect, and defend" the U.S. Constitution. Instead of its 11th-annual national conference this year, one national grassroots organization is scheduling regional, state and local conferences around the country, focusing on ways to elect only those representatives who will publicly sign a pledge that includes ideas such as these:
  • I will vote for only that legislation which contains a citation to the specific authority granted in Article 1, Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution.
  • I will vote against any legislation that infringes the individual right to keep and bear arms.
  • I will vote for legislation that allows the use of domestic resources to achieve energy and food independence.
  • I will vote against any legislation that results in a federal takeover of any private corporation, institution or entity.
  • I will vote against any legislation that authorizes the United Nations to impose a tax, levy, fee, or royalty on the United States or any of its citizens.
These are basic constitutional principles that the federal government has forgotten over the years. The current leadership routinely ignores the limitation of power imposed upon Congress by the Constitution. This is the source of much of the public anger that has become so visible. College kids recruited to join Obama's 'army'

From WorldNetDaily
Earn credit for pushing 'change,' working on president's 'agenda' Posted: August 25, 2009 ~ 9:03 pm Eastern By Chelsea Schilling © 2009 WorldNetDaily President Obama's army of citizen volunteers is now actively recruiting college students in states across the country to "build support for President Obama's agenda" – and earn college credit while advocating for "change." Obama for America, Obama's 2008 political campaign, merged with the Democratic National Committee in January and is now known as Organizing for America, or OFA. The movement some call "Obama 2.0" is now recruiting students and offering to provide credits toward degree plans in exchange for their advocacy skills. A message from OFA national volunteer coordinators announcing the recruitment campaign and internship opportunities has been posted on several websites and on Facebook. "Students and young people were critical in building the movement that helped elect President Obama last year. By becoming a National Organizing Intern, you'll be part of the grassroots effort to make the change we fought for a reality in 2009 and beyond," it states. "As an Organizing Intern, you'll work side by side with OFA staff and community leaders to help build support for President Obama's agenda. You'll learn core organizing principles that are crucial for any campaign and play an important role in building our organization in your state." The announcement continues, "President Obama describes his time as a community organizer by saying: 'It was the best education I ever had, because I learned in those neighborhoods that when ordinary people come together, they can achieve extraordinary things.' "This is your chance to get that same education. "If you're passionate about making sure every American has quality health care, reviving our economy, and building a clean energy future, don't miss this great opportunity. No previous experience is needed in order to apply." [READ ENTIRE STORY]

Senator Barbara Boxer thinks that the "angry mobs" are "well dressed"

That arrogant, elitist Senator, Barbara Boxer of Calfornia, wants people to believe that the "unruly angry mobs" are shills for the insurance industry. Of course, that is very far from the truth. In fact, the people that are so upset are not just Republicans that are trying to stop President Obama. No, there are many people that have gone to the town hall meetings to protest the health care plan (that isn't even Obama's plan, because he doesn't have one) and be so "devisive," are Democrats. So, excuse me, Senator Boxer, but the only mob rule going on in this country is the Chicago mob now running the White House. The grass roots movement is not orchestrated by ANYONE. For you to call it anything else is a 1984-style fabrication.

Preparing for Obama - by Henry Lamb

Obama and the Democrats may reign in Washington, but across the land there is a network of grass-roots organizations in place that did not exist when Clinton came to power. It is now possible to inform and activate hundreds of thousands of people in a matter of minutes. Many of these grass-roots groups are affiliated with the Freedom21 movement.
