It has been awhile since I have posted anything about Obama's Constitutional eligibility. It was getting to the point where all the stories were becoming redundant. And much of the redundancy was that even if there was unequivocal evidence that the President was not eligible to hold office according to the Constitution, nobody cared.

However, there are people that do care, and will keep on harping on it until the day Obama leaves office. Though I'm not sure what the point is anymore, those that honor the Constitution are people that I can and do respect.

What makes this story different is that it is about an investigation to make sure that President Obama is Constitutionally eligible to have his name on the ballot in Arizona for the 2012 election.

In an interview with WND, Sheriff Arpaio explained:

"I don't know where this is going," he said of the eligibility probe, "but I'll tell you one thing: I'm not backing down. I'm not worried about politics.

"If I get defeated for going after this, well, OK."

Again, I have to emphasize that it really won't matter what the Sheriff's posse finds out. A microfiche showing that Obama was born of Satan would not really matter too much for many people, apparently.

But. now, if we could just get Sheriff Arpaio's posse to after global warming and Al Gore. I'm just sayin'...

Amid probe, Maverick lawman's endorsement sought by top GOP candidates

ORLANDO, Fla. – While the top Republican candidates refuse to touch the issue of Barack Obama's eligibility, at least four are eagerly seeking the endorsement of America's best-known lawman, who told a gathering of Florida tea partiers yesterday that his "Cold Case Posse" probe examining the president's qualification for his state's 2012 ballot is in full swing.

Maricopa County, Ariz., Sheriff Joe Arpaio, known nationally for his tough and sometimes unorthodox enforcement of immigration laws, delivered a steady stream of one-liners at the expense of his fierce critics in an hour-long talk that drew frequent laughter from attendees of the Eastern Orlando Tea Party's "Choose Liberty 2012" conference.

With his trademark prison-issue pink shorts on sale at the back of the room, Arpaio explained why he undertook the controversial "inquiry," as he called it, into the president's eligibility for the Arizona state ballot next year and assigned it to his volunteer team of former cops and lawyers.

He's already come to the conclusion that a simple way to determine the validity of the birth certificate issued by the White House April 27 is to obtain a microfiche version of it. It should exist, he said, since copies from microfiche of birth certificates for twins born the day before Obama, the Nordykes, have been published.

"I would highly recommend to the president that if there is microfilm, let's get it," he told the Orlando crowd. "If we could show he was on the microfilm the next day – that he was born in Hawaii – all the controversy would go."

Arpaio deadpanned that if he can help Obama by proving "through the investigation" that he was born in America, "maybe he'll invite me to Hawaii."

James Inhofe, R.-Okla., to meet with Muslim leaders to discuss his statement during a congressional hearing in favor of using religion and ethnicity as factors in profiling airline passengers. "It is disturbing to hear a member of the United States Senate suggest that entire religious and ethnic groups should automatically be considered terror suspects," said CAIR-OK Executive Director Razi Hashmi. "Our nation's leaders have a duty not to exacerbate the growing anti-Muslim sentiment in American society." Inhofe's spokesman has not replied to a WND request for comment. But advocates of the senator's position argue correct profiling would not automatically regard a Muslim as a terror suspect. Rather, it would take a passenger's religion and ethnicity into account among a variety of factors that, together, comprise a terrorist "profile." CAIR itself has been designated by the Justice Department as an unindicted terrorist conspirator, and the FBI has cut off its once-close ties with the group. CAIR's terrorist connections also have been exposed in an undercover probe that obtained internal documents confirming it acts as a front in the U.S. for international Muslim groups working to bring Saudi-style Islamic law to the nation. Speaking at a review Thursday of the Fort Hood shootings by the Senate Armed Services Committee, Inhofe said, "I'm, for one – I know it's not politically correct to say it – I believe in racial and ethnic profiling." The senator elaborated that "if you're looking at people getting on an airplane and you have X amount of resources to get into it, you get at the targets, and not my wife. And I just think it's something that should be looked into." Inhofe said that with few exceptions, such as the 1995 bombing of the Murrah federal office building in his state's capital, the perpetrators of terrorism are Muslims. Even in the Murrah case, however, a congressional committee examined strong evidence, based on an investigation by reporter Jayna Davis, that Terry Nichols and Timothy McVeigh were part of a scheme involving Islamic terrorists. Rep. Sue Myrick, R-N.C., received a fax Tuesday from CAIR's in-house legal counsel, alleging the authors of the new book, set for release today, had engaged in "criminal actions" and warning that a report already had been filed with law enforcement authorities. The faxed letter from CAIR's Nadhira al-Khalili noted the Washington-based group had been forewarned of the press conference Myrick held with fellow members of the House anti-terror caucus leadership, Reps. John Shadegg, R-Ariz., Trent Franks, R-Ariz., and Paul Broun, R-Ga. The lawmakers called for an end to political lobbying by groups, such as CAIR, operating as fronts for the Egyptian-based Muslim Brotherhood, the parent of al-Qaida and Hamas. Myrick says in the foreword to "Muslim Mafia" that the WND Books publication – based on a six-month undercover operation that produced 12,000 pages of documents – finally provides the "proof" that radical Muslim "agents living among us have a plan in place, and they are successfully carrying out that subversive plan." Holding up the book, Shadegg said, regarding the CAIR fax, "Interestingly, whenever books like these are published, there are efforts to intimidate those who publish them and write them. And efforts to intimidate those who speak out in support of them." Shadegg continued, "We need an informed body politic, we need informed Americans to understand the threats against this country. And knowing the kinds of things that are in this book are very important. The latest book provides stunning documentation of many of the things that are said in it about CAIR." Franks said the anti-terror caucus fears CAIR has planted "spies" inside Congress targeting sensitive committees dealing with homeland security. "It's the water inside the ship that sinks it," he warned. Franks said CAIR and its agents are influencing policies related to the USA Patriot Act, the post-9/11 security measure to help law enforcement crack down on terrorists. "Muslim Mafia" uncovered confidential CAIR memos revealing that in one year alone, officials with the terror-supporting front group made an alarming 72 separate trips to Congress to lobby against the Patriot Act. The same year Congress met fewer than 150 days. U.S. prosecutors believe CAIR, while claiming to be a civil-rights group, is actually a front group for Hamas and other terrorists. The Justice Department stated in September 2007 during its prosecution of the Holy Land Foundation in Dallas – the largest terror-financing case in history – that CAIR "has been identified by the government at trial as a participant in an ongoing and ultimately unlawful conspiracy to support a designated terrorist organization, a conspiracy from which CAIR never withdrew."
