Tom Fitton: Michael Flynn should ‘not only be exonerated’ but pardoned ~ Lou Dobbs Tonight Video

Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton tells Fox Business’ Lou Dobbs that former Trump administration national security adviser Michael Flynn was a 'target of a coordinated leak campaign.'
Not only was there exculpatory evidence that was withheld from the court by the FBI, a significant amount of prosecutorial misconduct was also going on. Tom Fitton tells Lou Dobbs that General Mike Flynn, who served as President Trump's National Security Advisor for a short time, was being bullied into a plea deal by threatening to prosecute Gen. Flynn's son.

And now, it gets even better. DOJ Attorney John Durham is investigating leaks to the Washington Post in January of 2017 that played a part in Gen. Flynn being dismissed as National Security Advisor.

The right thing for Attorney General Barr to do would be to get Flynn's case completely dismissed, and go after the individuals in the Deep State that were targeting President Trump, through various cases with Gen. Flynn, George Papadopoulos, and Carter Page, just for starters. And then President Trump should pardon Gen. Flynn just to make sure that a future case wouldn't be brought against him, if God forbid, President Trump didn't win this November, Fitton suggests.

Look who's headlining Las Vegas tea-party convention!

Yes, it's true, I would love to go the National Tea Party Unity Convention, July 15-17, at the Palazzo Las Vegas Resort in Nevada. Not just to see Lou Dobbs, but also to hear all of the other outstanding speakers who will be there, including Joseph Farah of WorldNetDaily.com. Yes, I really, really, REALLY want to go! And yes, I wished upon the falling star I saw just an hour ago... Of course, I am also praying.  Just sayin'...
"He's not going to toe the line for the sake of toeing the line," he said. That's why he's such a fantastic guy and why he's so attractive to the movement."

While Dobbs is known for expressing his opinion on a variety of controversial subjects, Phillips said Dobbs and other convention speakers plan to emphasize unification of the tea-party movement in their speeches.

"If we're going to win this fall, we have to be united," he said. "If we split up, we'll end up with two more years of the Obama-Pelosi-Reid axis of fiscal evil."
CNN's loss, tea partiers' gain seeking to unify movement in run up to fall election

He caused quite an uproar as a CNN anchor when he advocated for stronger U.S. border enforcement and when he refused to drop "birther" stories about challenges to President Obama's constitutional eligibility to hold office.

Now he's a headlining speaker at the second tea-party convention in July in Las Vegas, an event geared toward unifying the tea-party movement in the run-up to the fall congressional elections.

Lou Dobbs will rally tea partiers at the National Tea Party Unity Convention, July 15-17, at the Palazzo Las Vegas Resort in Nevada. The Tea Party Nation, along with ResistNet, Leadership Tea Party, the Tea Party Leadership Coalition and other groups, is organizing the event.

"Lou Dobbs is just an amazing guy," Tea Party Nation President Judson Phillips told WND. "He stood up to the powers that be at CNN. He had a very high-rated show there, and he could have kept towing the party line and doing what they wanted him to do. But he spoke up for America."

In 2009, Dobbs was voted to the top 10 list of the most important radio talk-show hosts in America by Talkers Magazine. He graduated from Harvard University with a degree in economics.

The award-winning journalist and best-selling author's refusal to drop "birther" stories about challenges to Obama's constitutional eligibility to hold office was a major source of contention with CNN management, leading the unconventional anchor to walk away from the network and more than $9 million in November, the New York Post reported.

The Post, citing anonymous sources, said the beginning of the end of a long-simmering dispute came in July last year, when CNN President Jonathan Klein told Dobbs' staff in a memo to stop reporting on lawsuits that demand Obama produce evidence he's a natural-born American citizen, as required by the Constitution.

Dobbs said several times he believed Obama was a U.S. citizen, and all he wanted was the president to produce a copy of his birth certificate, but the network clamped down on the host nonetheless.

Dobbs, who also hosts a nationally syndicated radio show, told his radio audience in July that "even though I said I believe the president is a citizen of the United States, I don't understand why he shouldn't produce a birth certificate. My God, you're talking about the third rail of American journalism, baby! That's it. I'm not going to back off."

In a November column, WND CEO and Editor Joseph Farah called Dobbs a "real newsman" whose departure from CNN after 30 years left the network "in a state of programming irrelevancy."

"What makes Lou Dobbs so special," Farah writes, "is his independence and fearlessness. Dobbs clearly set his own agenda. He had no interest in the 'conventional wisdom' of his industry. Dobbs thinks like a real American newsman – a throwback to an age when journalists actually believed they were watchdogs of government and asked tough questions in the interests of the people."

The New York Post also noted that CNN had long been asking Dobbs to "tone down his harsh rhetoric" on issues such as immigration. For years, in his "Broken Borders" segment, Dobbs warned of the dangers of illegal immigration. Several campaigns were launched to convince CNN to "dump Dobbs."

As WND reported, Dobbs told his radio audience Oct. 26 a gunshot was fired into his home after a series of threatening phone calls.

Dobbs said advocacy groups that support illegal immigration pressed for him to be fired and had been "unrelenting in their propaganda."

Outspoken opponents of Dobbs include the Southern Poverty Law Center, the Anti-Defamation League, the National Council of La Raza, Internet media watchdog Media Matters and Geraldo Rivera of Fox News.

Lou Dobbs, real newsman ~ By Joseph Farah

From WorldNetDaily
Joseph FarahBy Joseph Farah Posted: November 13, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 The departure of Lou Dobbs from CNN after 30 years leaves the network in a state of programming irrelevancy. For years there has been just one reason to tune in to CNN. His name was Lou Dobbs. Lou DobbsWhat makes Lou Dobbs so special is his independence and fearlessness. Dobbs clearly set his own agenda. He had no interest in the "conventional wisdom" of his industry. Dobbs thinks like a real American newsman – a throwback to an age when journalists actually believed they were watchdogs of government and asked tough questions in the interests of the people. When virtually his entire profession and elites in all the other political and cultural institutions of our time were making excuses for allowing tens of millions of illegal aliens to occupy our country, Lou Dobbs was alone in his focus on the issue critical to America's safety and security. When virtually his entire profession and elites in all the other political and cultural institutions of our time were making excuses for Barack Obama's unwillingness to prove his constitutional eligibility to serve in the White House by simply showing the American people his long-form birth certificate, Lou Dobbs was alone in asking why. Even this week, when virtually his entire profession and elites in all the other political and cultural institutions of our time were in denial that what happened at Fort Hood was a completely avoidable terrorist attack if only political correctness didn't rule the day, Lou Dobbs was alone in stating the obvious. Someone this good will be picked up soon by another network or news organization, right? Sadly, I'm not so sure. Let me be the first to say I would be proud to work with Lou Dobbs. He's got his pick of assignments here at WND. I would be honored to work for him – and it's been a long time since I worked for anyone. [CLICK HERE TO READ MORE]

Arena roundup: Dobbs applauded

From Politico
“Lou Dobbs will be able to better capitalize elsewhere on the demagogic persona he has invented for himself — a serious news network was never a fitting venue for his nativist, anti-immigrant pep rallies,” wrote Andres Martinez of the New America Foundation. “As for Time Warner, kudos for cleansing itself. Offering Lou Dobbs a coveted perch every night proved corrosive to CNN's overall integrity, suggesting that the network was willing to succumb to the standards of Fox News.”
By DAVID MARK & ELIZABETH MENDES | 11/12/09 6:18 PM EST Critics of illegal immigration in Congress Thursday offered praise for departed CNN host Lou Dobbs, suggesting he would affect the debate no matter what he does next. “There is no question that Lou has had a significant impact on public policy debates over the years. He was instrumental in leading the insurgency that resulted in the defeat of the McCain-Kennedy immigration bill,” said Rep. Darrell Issa (Calif.), ranking Republican on the House Government Reform and Oversight Committee, in POLITICO’s Arena. “There are a lot of voices in the immigration debate who are incredibly passionate about the issue and I have no doubt that Lou will continue to be among the most vocal participants leading the discussion moving ahead,” said Issa. Rep. Lamar Smith (Texas), the top GOP lawmaker on the House Judiciary Committee, said Dobbs reflected the views of a majority of Americans on immigration, even if he was often pilloried, even by colleagues on his own network. The 'non-issue' everyone is talking about ~ By Joseph Farah

By Joseph Farah Posted: July 29, 2009 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 Have you noticed the way the rest of the media discusses the Barack Obama eligibility story? Everyone from Ann Coulter and Michael Medved and Neal Boortz on the right to Geraldo Rivera and Chris Matthews and CNN's heretofore unknown president want you to know there's nothing to talk about here. But yet they keep on talking about it. And they never really explain why they are talking about it and why it's not worth talking about – other than the fact that it's all been researched before and Barack Obama really is a "natural born citizen." Now, as one of only a handful of colleagues who has actually investigated this matter – most of whom work for me – I would like to understand from these people how that little matter was settled. Is one of them capable of uttering even one articulate, coherent statement that would help me understand how Obama established his constitutional eligibility for office? Did he produce an actual long-form birth certificate that would show which doctor delivered him and in which hospital? Who are the two U.S. citizen parents to whom he was born – an absolute requirement to be a "natural born citizen" circa 1961? Why do these media people show so little natural curiosity about the conflicting stories that have been dished out by Hawaiian officials claiming they have inspected the original document and later claiming the original document was destroyed in 2001? Can any of these people point to any official document from Obama's past that he has willingly released? Now, I like Ann Coulter. I consider her a good friend. But when she starts hurling labels like "crank" toward me and my news agency – the only one, by the way, that has thoughtfully, meticulously and thoroughly investigated this matter for 11 months – I take offense. I expect what I get from the others. When the facts finally come out – and they will – I doubt I will get an apology from any of them except Coulter. But clearly, this is not a left-right issue. This is not a conservative-liberal issue. This is not a Democrat-Republican issue. This is not an ideological issue. This is a matter of what's true and what's not. It's a matter as simple as whether we take the Constitution seriously and do our best to see that it is honored and observed and defended. [emphasis mine] [CONTINUE READING]

Eligibility story is dead? ~ By Joseph Farah

By Joseph Farah Posted: July 27, 2009 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 I love the way the media enterprises that have never investigated the eligibility story when it was alive now feel compelled to pronounce it dead. CNN President Jon Klein sent an e-mail to his staff last week explaining, "This story is dead." Apparently he felt compelled to make the official statement because one CNN rogue, Lou Dobbs, had recently discovered the fact that Barack Obama had never established his bona fides as a constitutionally eligible president – failing to prove he was a "natural born citizen" as his Republican opponent was forced to do in Senate hearings. Why was Klein so sure there was nothing to it? His reasoning was very strange indeed – and his logic even more twisted. It seems CNN researchers contacted the Hawaii Public Health Department about the missing long-form birth certificate – the only document absolutely essential to determining where Obama was actually born. What they were told was stunning. The long-form birth certificate no longer exists! It was destroyed in 2001 when Hawaii went paperless. Now, what's shocking about that? The same media outlet that claimed the story was dead because the birth certificate hasn't existed in eight years previously claimed that a Hawaiian official had personally inspected it to determine its authenticity. Now maybe I'm an unusual newsman, but when I get two entirely contradictory statements from public officials, it makes me more suspicious and curious, not less. How is it that state health director Dr. Chiyome Fukino was able personally inspect the birth certificate in November 2008 when it had been destroyed seven years earlier? How is it that FactCheck.org was able to have "seen, touched, examined and photographed the original birth certificate" around the same time if it was destroyed in 2001? These supposedly first-hand observations have heretofore been used as prima facie evidence that a long-form birth certificate confirms Obama's story about a Hawaiian birth Aug. 4, 1961. But somebody's lying. How can both stories be true? How can they both be used to suggest there is no story here? Where is the natural curiosity by the rest of the press? How is it that they can accept at face value two patently contradictory statements and claim they both provide evidence of Obama's natural born citizenship and eligibility for the highest office in the United States? 'Shut up Lou Dobbs' campaign hits stride

Where's the Birth Certificate?CNN anchor simply wants birth certificate revealed By Bob Unruh Posted: July 24, 2009 11:45 pm Eastern © 2009 WorldNetDaily He already believes President Obama is a U.S. citizen, and all he wants is for him to produce a copy of his birth certificate, but even that request has generated a full-scale attack on CNN anchor Lou Dobbs. Lou DobbsAccording to the Los Angeles Times, CNN President Jon Klein told staffers of "Lou Dobbs Tonight" the issue of the legitimacy of President Obama's birth certificate – a topic Dobbs has discussed on the air – is a "dead" story. The report said Klein wrote that CNN researchers found Hawaiian records were discarded in 2001 when the state's records system went electronic. Therefore, the report said, Obama's original long-form birth certificate no longer exists, and a computer-generated abbreviated version that has been promoted on the Internet is the official record. "It seems to definitively answer the question," Klein's e-mail said, according to the newspaper. "Since the show's mission is for Lou to be the explainer and enlightener, he should be sure to cite this during your segment tonite. And then it seems this story is dead – because anyone who still is not convinced doesn't really have a legitimate beef." [CONTINUE READING]

Lib talker, Lou Dobbs now asking eligibility questions

Radio, television, newspapers taking note of long-running dispute Posted: July 16, 2009 11:05 pm Eastern © 2009 WorldNetDaily Radio talk shows, television programming, newspapers - even a liberal talk show host in New York and talk format icon Lou Dobbs - have begun taking note of the story long reported by WorldNetDaily over the doubts about and challenges to President Obama's eligibility to occupy the Oval office. Lynn Samuels, longtime New York radio talker, even accused Obama of lying about his birth certificate. WND has been reporting – many times in solo fashion – on the issues that have been raised by multiple lawsuits contending that Obama does not qualify under the U.S. Constitution's requirement that the president be a "natural born" citizen. But now word is spreading, prompted by the case brought this week by an Army major scheduled for deployment to Afghanistan. In that case, which was dismissed today by a judge in Georgia, a reserve officer explained he had a right to question his deployment orders and know that the commander-in-chief is legitimate, or he would be exposing himself and any soldiers under him to extreme danger in overseas combat situations. Maj. Stefan Cook's case was dismissed by the judge who noted the Pentagon had revoked the officer's deployment orders, apparently resolving the dispute. The officer's civilian employer also reported being pressured by the government to fire the officer. The story was reported on Sean Hannity's program on Fox News. Hannity said the challenge to the deployment orders came after Obama ordered a surge in troops to Afghanistan. A report on the same challenge also appeared in the Atlanta Journal Constitution. And Orly Taitz, the attorney for Maj. Stefan Cook, was on the Lou Dobbs radio program, along with former U.S. Ambassador Alan Keyes, who was a presidential candidate on the ballot in 2008. Dobbs said he and his staff have "been working hard to figure out what's going on." He said he's found the Federal Election Commission does "nothing to validate … a candidate." Nor do the states, he said. Keyes said it rests upon judges and members of Congress, who have sworn an oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution, to do their duty and investigate questions or discrepancies. Dobbs suggested that many Americans believe simply being born to a mother who is a U.S. citizen automatically makes the newborn a citizen, but both Taitz and Keyes explained that under the immigration law in effect in the 1960s when Obama was born, an American woman married to a foreign national man had to have lived in the U.S. 10 years, at least five of which were after the age of 14, to pass along U.S. citizenship. Taitz pointed out Obama's mother was too young to do that. In a video posted on YouTube by Radio Equalizer, liberal radio talker Lynn Samuels had her say: "We don't even know where he was born," she says. "I absolutely believe he was not born in this country." Challenged by a caller that Obama could not have hidden birth certificate issues from the U.S., she responded: "Yes you can. His birth certificate is locked and the story came out on WorldNetDaily the other day – they're really on this – he said originally he was born in like Queen Anne hospital in Hawaii. Then he sends a letter of congratulations on the anniversary of some other hospital in Hawaii, saying of course this is a great hospital, I was born here. He doesn't even know where the hell he was born because he's lying." Taitz told WND that after the Cook case hearing in Georgia today, there were multiple network reporters on the scene "There is a lot of publicity," she said. "The word spreads." WND has reported on dozens of legal challenges to Obama's status as a "natural born citizen." The Constitution, Article 2, Section 1, states, "No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President."
