Water wears away all the softer rock first, leaving bedrock: solid, immobile, strong. But even bedrock can be worn away. What you have to do is shut off the water. We are the bedrock, the foot soldiers in a war for the future our country. We are solid, immobile and strong. We are the stubborn ones who do not want our country damaged beyond repair.
