Black America has a Choice to Make ~ By Sonnie Johnson

But I also know Mike Brown didn’t walk on water. He was raised in a system that taught him to hate the police and that they were to be treated as suspect. He had no value in the life of Darren Wilson and that was his Achilles heel. Darren Wilson had a reason to live and he wasn’t going to go quietly. I have a family that is my reason for living and I wouldn’t go quietly either. That’s a colorless value I can never ignore.

So whom do I feel sorry for? Which side do I take? Neither, I know too much to play this game. In fact, I Change the Game. Black America has a choice to make. This year they have seen the outcome of following the Progressives. Next year, I will show them the outcome of following a conservative. I promise we will only burn down buildings with the intention of rebuilding them.
Sonnie will have plenty of allies who happen to be successful, Conservative, and black, such as Dr. Ben Carson, Allen West, and of course, our friend Zo (Alfonzo Rachel), and many more.  She won't be alone, and she will have a lot of material to back up her beliefs.

Despite having a large number of Conservatives of all races that will be cheering her on, and applauding her obvious aptitude for being a great columnist, Sonnie Johnson will also have to deal with a crowd that isn't quite so pleased with her efforts. In a column by Caroline Schaeffer (about 6 months ago), "Stacey Dash Hired By Fox News, Liberals Once Again Expose Their Intolerance For Black Conservatives," you'll see an excellent illustration of how the left treats blacks that have succeeded on their own merits:
Liberals were quick to expose their intolerance of a minority who holds conservative views, calling her a “token” and “self-hating.” The idea that she is a smart, engaging commentator who is appreciated for her contributions? Impossible, they say! It’s only about her race!
The problem for Sonnie, and for all of us on the Conservative side, is that the progressive mentality is already baked into the minds of those that we aim to assist in an attitude adjustment. We can do it, but it might take several generations.  That old pendulum takes awhile to swing from slavery to freedom to tyranny to slavery and back to freedom.  It takes time.  But hey, Sonnie Johnson, keep on keeping on!  And always remember this:

The average American is always gong to be afraid to be "different," but once they know that they aren't alone, it's a game changer.  And that goes just fine with, "Change the Game."  Just sayin'...

They did it. Progressives kept to their word and burned Ferguson to the ground. The National Guard was held back, while the St. Louis suburbs were set on fire and businesses were looted and destroyed. Shots were fired in the direction of police and law enforcement filled the air with tear gas. Oh what a Progressive legacy…

Who am I supposed to feel sorry for? The tension in Ferguson didn’t spring up over night. If the people of Ferguson would have a good relationship with the police force, they wouldn’t have been ready to riot with a single spark. This entire situation would have been prevented if the citizens and law enforcement didn’t look at each other like suspects.

But that’s the mold Progressive America has created. The police are hit with government statistics that paint black males as violent criminals. They are forced to act upon those statistics. Therefore, they look at black males with more caution.

Liberals and violence: The pot calling the kettle black ~ By Erik Rush

Yet, while barbarity and amorality remain sacrosanct to progressives, they continue to whip their deluded base into a frenzied hatred of conservatives who, in the practical sense, are ordinary Americans with traditional values. They are preparing for war – literally – with this dark army, which they will find consists of the vast majority of Americans, when it comes down to the issues that matter.

When someone who is considered conservative cites a questionable act, practice, or position on the part of liberals, there are myriad examples available. But when Bill Maher says that the tea party is a racist organization, all he can point to is some genetic nightmare who got kicked out of a tea-party rally back in 2009 for bringing a racist placard.

And I have yet to hear a conservative talk about killing political opponents.
Erik brings up the term, "Projection," to make a very good point about liberals and violence that many of us may not have thought of without a degree in psychology. Erik was exactly right on when he described "Projection" as "a term used by mental-health professionals to describe the phenomenon of one accusing a perceived enemy of unsavory or amoral behavior in which they themselves are engaged." But I can add one more thing after seeing this when looking up the word on dictionary.com:
Projection:
11. Psychology
  •  the tendency to ascribe to another person feelings, thoughts, or attitudes present in oneself, or to regard external reality as embodying such feelings, thoughts, etc., in some way.
  • Psychoanalysis: such an ascription relieving the ego of a sense of guilt or other intolerable feeling.
The "psychoanalysis" part of that definition above seems to add even more sense to what is psychologically happening with "projection" as defined, and WHY liberals seem to be the ones suffering this mental health malady most often. In fact, does not "relieving the ego of a sense of guilt or other intolerable feeling" seem to explain how some liberals that are not suffering financially want to "share the wealth" of other tax payers that are well off? Guilt? You bet! The guilt could be that it's a known fact that many liberals (Democrats) give much less to charity than conservative Republicans! It's been "the pot calling the kettle black" all along since the Progressive movement began a century ago.

But, yes, it is assuredly a more disturbing picture now that Bill Maher projected his contention that "conservatives want to kill everyone with whom they disagree." Being that most liberals will definitely hate me now that I've expounded on Erik's column in this way, I may want to start watching my back.

Liberals and violence: The pot calling the kettle black

Last month, comedian and progressive activist Bill Maher stated on national television that conservatives want to kill everyone with whom they disagree. Yes, Maher is an arrogant, imperious, condescending fool, but this is the sort of fare Americans are treated to on one of the most popular programs on television in 2011. A placard from one of the Madison, Wis., pro-union demonstrations read "Why do Republicans Hate People?"

I've been talking about projection for a long time; truth be told, to the best of my knowledge, longer than anyone I know of who's talking about it now. But that's quite all right – as long as the message gets out.

And it's a very important message, because it gives us insight into an enemy that is more dangerous than most Americans realize. Projection is a term used by mental-health professionals to describe the phenomenon of one accusing a perceived enemy of unsavory or amoral behavior in which they themselves are engaged. Unfortunately, most Americans don't know about projection, except perhaps in passing as a morsel from Psych 101 – and most definitely are not aware of what a staple it is in the arsenal of progressives.

In the past, when I've mentioned liberals' proclivity for projection, I said that I'd get really nervous when they started accusing us of wanting to kill people.

Well … now they're accusing us of wanting to kill people.

We're familiar with the misrepresentations: conservatives are intolerant, bigoted, divisive, homophobic, racist, sexist, greedy, hateful liars. But it is liberals who call for civil discourse and an end to inflammatory rhetoric, yet expect to be allowed to employ violent references, killing being among them.

As the reader may be aware, decades of this anti-conservative mantra alone have led millions to honestly believe that the things liberals have been saying are true. This should be of great concern to Americans, since people tend to harbor precious little quarter for those who want to kill them, because the instinct for self-preservation comes into play – you have no choice but to kill the one who would kill you first.

While it is fairly evident why this strategy is employed (to demonize conservatives), it is the left's history that is replete with violent mobs charging into the streets and murdering members of the opposition until attrition wins the day. This later gives rise to tyrants and/or despotic commissions that execute millions of ideological stragglers in purges.

Understanding Rudyard Kipling's "The Gods of the Copybook Headings"

Friday morning, while listening to the Glenn Beck Program, I was multi-tasking, and found myself surfing on Twitter. I came across a tweet by @Tanapsuedes that said, "Gods of the Copybook pages is Kiplings poem said by Glenn Beck. It is about the destruction of men wrought by Fabians remaking world." (In a later tweet, it was corrected from "Gods of the Copybook pages" to "Gods of the Copybook Headings," the correct title.)  I ended up spending quite a bit more of my morning hours Friday, trying to find the poem, and then reading it.

As it turned out, I found the self-study project very intriguing. I kept learning more and more about the poem by Kipling. So, I decided that I would put this blog up about the newly popular poem. It turns out that the the last part of the poem was used in a video trailer for Glenn Beck's thriller novel, "The Overton Window." Of course, as always, I've included the video below so that you can see it for yourself:

Video provided by rightscoop

George Bernard Shaw,
another spooky dude
As you would probably guess, Glenn Beck and the guys (Pat and Stu) had fun with it on June 10, 2010, when the Huffington Post didn't know that the verses in the trailer were from Rudyard Kipling. As I was soaking all of this in during the wee hours of the day, I recalled hearing that segment. That memory inspired me all the more to dig into finding out more about Rudyard Kipling, and which lead to learning more about the Fabian Society and George Bernard Shaw. That turned out to be my project on Saturday morning.

And after all that time I spent, here's the thing: There is no way that I want to try to share everything I learned. It would take a book. I can only tell you that the one thing I learned is that you would need to know that Rudyard Kipling was writing about the Fabian Society in this poem. And what is even more important, is knowing more about the Fabian (Socialist) Society. Knowing who some of the big players in the Fabian Society is an even bigger shock to those of us that know the names, but didn't know what these people were up to in their spare time. Names like George Bernard Shaw, H. G. Wells, Cecil Rhodes...

The one big thing I can do for you to make reading this blog post worth your time is to share some resources with you so you can check it all out for yourself. One of the first things you need to do is read the book by Dr. Stanley Monteith, "Brotherhood of Darkness," from cover to cover. You will also want to watch the Glenn Beck show on the Fox News Channel. Glenn provides the basic info that is worth the further research, despite what his detractors want you to believe.

There is a reason why President Obama would like you to not be watching Fox News or Glenn Beck. Obama knows that if you look into things, with some basic and easy research, you will know what he actually stands for. And isn't it weird that some of his biggest supporters are college students, who I thought were supposed to be learning how to be open minded while gathering information.

If I thought you had the time, or that you would take the time, to watch a few videos, I would be adding them to this post. But if you do have a few minutes and want to get started learning, for a good starting point, watch this.

If you do what I have suggested, you may learn enough to understand what Rudyard Kipling's "The Gods of the Copybook Headings" is all about. You may learn enough that you may go wake up your neighbors. Just sayin'...

The Gods of the Copybook Headings

By Rudyard Kipling

Published in October of 1919

Video provided by TheREALjohnny2k

As I pass through my incarnations in every age and race,
I make my proper prostrations to the Gods of the Market Place.
Peering through reverent fingers I watch them flourish and fall,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings, I notice, outlast them all.

We were living in trees when they met us. They showed us each in turn
That Water would certainly wet us, as Fire would certainly burn:
But we found them lacking in Uplift, Vision and Breadth of Mind,
So we left them to teach the Gorillas while we followed the March of Mankind.

We moved as the Spirit listed. They never altered their pace,
Being neither cloud nor wind-borne like the Gods of the Market Place,
But they always caught up with our progress, and presently word would come
That a tribe had been wiped off its icefield, or the lights had gone out in Rome.

With the Hopes that our World is built on they were utterly out of touch,
They denied that the Moon was Stilton; they denied she was even Dutch;
They denied that Wishes were Horses; they denied that a Pig had Wings;
So we worshipped the Gods of the Market Who promised these beautiful things.

When the Cambrian measures were forming, They promised perpetual peace.
They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.
But when we disarmed They sold us and delivered us bound to our foe,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: “Stick to the Devil you know.”

On the first Feminian Sandstones we were promised the Fuller Life
(Which started by loving our neighbour and ended by loving his wife)
Till our women had no more children and the men lost reason and faith,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: “The Wages of Sin is Death.”

In the Carboniferous Epoch we were promised abundance for all,
By robbing selected Peter to pay for collective Paul;
But, though we had plenty of money, there was nothing our money could buy,
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: “If you don’t work you die.”

Then the Gods of the Market tumbled, and their smooth-tongued wizards withdrew
And the hearts of the meanest were humbled and began to believe it was true
That All is not Gold that Glitters, and Two and Two make Four
And the Gods of the Copybook Headings limped up to explain it once more.

As it will be in the future, it was at the birth of Man
There are only four things certain since Social Progress began.
That the Dog returns to his Vomit and the Sow returns to her Mire,
And the burnt Fool’s bandaged finger goes wabbling back to the Fire;

And that after this is accomplished, and the brave new world begins
When all men are paid for existing and no man must pay for his sins,
As surely as Water will wet us, as surely as Fire will burn,
The Gods of the Copybook Headings with terror and slaughter return!

New paradigm – conservatives vs. progressives ~ By Pat Boone

Okay, after reading this great column today, I would have to say that I'm pretty sure that Pat Boone must be watching or listening to Glenn Beck. He knows and understands a great deal about what I've learned about the Progressive movement that began in the late 19th Century. So, it is my hope that this post will help many people be aware of the Conservative vs. Progressive paradigm. This is vitally important information!
The new phenomenon, the new paradigm in politics, is no longer the political party. For the most part, it's the widening gap between conservatives and "progressives." Conservatives in both parties (and many in no party) are beginning to roar, to become aware of the trends and to demand a return to the U.S. Constitution as our political bible. "Progressives," as they call themselves – including the president, Secretary of State Clinton, John McCain's daughter and the majority of liberal Democrats – are clamoring for "social justice," "redistribution of wealth" and government control of virtually everything, so that all inhabitants, even illegal aliens, have "rights" to education, health care, retirement benefits, vacations, housing, creature comforts and most everything – except individual liberty.

Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world. But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come.

Then you will be arrested, persecuted, and killed. You will be hated all over the world because you are my followers. And many will turn away from me and betray and hate each other.

And many false prophets will appear and will deceive many people. Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold.

– Jesus in Matthew 24, describing society before the end comes

Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons. These people are hypocrites and liars, and their consciences are dead.

– the Apostle Paul in 1 Timothy 4, doing the same thing
A very big majority of the American people believe the Bible is the inspired Word of the Living God. They – I should say "we" – believe devoutly that God knows all things, including what the future holds for all of us. And He cares enough to give us definite warning signs about the windup of human history.

When Jesus' closest disciples asked Him specifically about what would signify the coming end of all things, He gave them the above signs, among many others. Surely I'm not alone in seeing all of these things happening now, and in increasing frequency.

And yes, I'm aware that in these and other well-known passages, Jesus is speaking primarily about spiritual corruption and decadence and immorality. But those things aren't confined to church circles, among former Bible believers. Corruption and decay are contagious; they spread everywhere, and they create rot wherever they gain entrance – certainly including politics, government, the economy and popular culture.

In fact, I see this contagion creeping like a plague into every area of modern life.

A tidal wave of immorality is sweeping through what we still call "entertainment." Anybody who watches TV in the evening will find it difficult, if not impossible, to find something that can pass as "family" fare. Almost every show, drama or comedy, is devoted constantly to the sordid, the immoral, the deviant, the violent and, increasingly, the intentionally horrifying. Demons and devils and vampires are "the in thing," and teenagers are making idols of the young actors who portray them. Same with the movies that we frequent, we honor, we make profitable and export to the rest of the world.

Time-honored guidelines, moral traditions, social taboos – all have just about evaporated, not even considered much anymore. Scandals and revelations and shattered images are so commonplace, in virtually every area of life, that we forget them almost as soon as they occur. Marriage itself, as a compact between a man and a woman, is under incessant attack, and over half of adult women in America aren't married now anyway!

The biggest teachers unions are promoting the tolerance and acceptance of homosexuality, right down into grade school, where our kids shouldn't even be thinking about anything like that. Why? Because union officials who think like President Obama's "safe school czar," Kevin Jennings, are determined that all the old taboos against sexual aberrance must be erased, and that our children must grow up without any reservations about anything sexual – possibly including pedophilia.

More and more, the old distinctions like Democrat and Republican seem meaningless. It's harder and harder to tell the two apart in terms of policy, representation of the people, loyalty to their oaths and behavior in Washington. The political platforms are largely determined by reading polls and research about how the people are likely to vote – and not by reasoned moral and constitutional priorities. There are exceptions, of course, and thankfully, there are still men and women who put conscience and morality and right thinking above political expediency, and they're still trying to make government really responsive to the needs and desires of the people who elected them. But they're like salmon swimming upstream against the tide of sellouts – whether confused or opportunistic – in both parties.

Your tax dollars at work ~ By Patrice Lewis

Commentary from WorldNetDaily
Patrice Lewis By Patrice Lewis Posted: January 23, 2010 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2010 A great sadness has befallen some friends of mine. They are expecting their first grandchild. My friend "Linda" has two stepchildren. Bob, her 19-year-old stepson, is a decent and responsible young man who brings her great joy. Jane, her 21-year-old stepdaughter, has done little but spread misery and conflict her entire life. From the moment Linda married her husband when Jane was 5, the girl was trouble. Most of Jane's time was spent with her biological mother, but when it was time for the children to visit their father, Jane lost no opportunity to create havoc in Linda's house. As Jane entered her teenage years, the havoc grew worse. She delved into drinking, drugs, prostitution, theft and death threats against her father's second family. It got to the point where she was placed in a lock-up facility when she was 16. She was "sprung" on her 18th birthday and happily continued her descent into hell with a couple of suicide attempts, more death threats against her extended family and other joyous expressions of love. Linda's husband, once his legal obligations of child support were over, refused to give Jane a penny because he knew how it would be spent. Jane supported herself by sponging off her mother, selling drugs and occasional excursions into the world's oldest profession. And now, at age 21, she's pregnant. This was inevitable, of course, but it brings great stress and sorrow to Linda and her husband. "I pray she doesn't have an abortion," I wrote to Linda. "I pray she gives the baby up for adoption." "Oh, she won't," Linda wrote back. "She's thrilled to be pregnant because it means a free ride for her. She thinks the baby is the answer to all her money woes. She knows welfare will cover it. She's already signed up and, since she's pregnant, she's already approved." At 21, Jane is an expert at manipulating the system. So there you have it. Your tax dollars at work. While welfare was created for the most humane of reasons – no one wants to see mothers with small children begging on the street – the Law of Unintended Consequences meant that women are encouraged to have illegitimate babies. Or, to put it another way, women are no longer discouraged by economic hardship or societal standards not to have illegitimate babies. This isn't rocket science, nor is it news. It's just tragic. There's a line from the 1940 movie version of "Pride and Prejudice" with Greer Garson and Lawrence Olivier. "You must learn, Mrs. Collins," intones the haughty and condescending Lady Catherine de Bourgh, "to draw a firm line between the deserving poor and the undeserving." Off-hand, that remark sounds callous and snotty. Yet the more I think upon it, the more I can't help but apply it to Jane. READ FULL STORY >

The ACLU: America's Taliban ~ By Pat Boone

This elitist, leftist and subversive organization (ACLU) has abandoned any pretense that it is committed to its stated purpose of protecting the civil liberties of Americans. To the contrary, it is openly hell-bent on erasing those liberties and, if possible, reinterpreting the Bill of Rights so as to eliminate the cherished freedoms most of us hold dear. read more | digg story

When Johnny Marries Moochie

Perhaps with Iowa's new progressive stance on equal rights and allowing the marriage between same-gender couples, I think it could easily be taken one more step: I can finally be allowed to marry the love of my life, my best friend Moochie, and be allowed to not have to live in sin by sleeping with my sweetie pie puppy cake (TMI). Selective feminism ~ By Patrice Lewis

Modern feminism has become little more than collective whining from women who never are, and never can be, satisfied until, I dunno, they have world domination or something... Feminists are taking the true inequalities of the past and using them to trap women in perpetual victimhood...Above all, feminists are angry. Nothing is ever good enough. read more | digg story
