The Road Ahead ~ Ep. 1432 ~ The Dan Bongino Show

From the Dan Bongino Show's description of this episode in his Show Notes (a.k.a. Newsletter!):
In this episode, I discuss the open war on free speech declared this past weekend.

We are in the process of crossing the Rubicon.  Well, not actually "we" as in you and I, but the Leftist Tech Tyrants just went a step or two into the waters of the Rubicon, and they are coming for us.

You will never see Dan more serious than he was in this episode.  Dan isn't just fighting angry about what AWS did to Parler.com this weekend, meaning, what they have done to him.  No, his outrage is about what the Big Tech tyrants are doing to many of us, as a whole:  They are trying to take away our ABILITY to be able to speak freely.

Like Dan, I had this feeling in my gut for quite awhile, that if Donald Trump was defeated by Joe Biden in November, things would change with our freedoms, especially in the areas of the First and Second Amendments, fairly quickly.  I did not expect it to start happening even before the inauguration.

Is there any doubt, or shock, that there is a war on your God-given, big R Rights?  There won't be after you see this episode.  Do you still think that it won't come to your door?  It already has!  Don't forget that if Big Tech can "cancel" the President, you can only imagine what it can do to you.  They have "crossed the Rubicon" in a very big way.

Because I know that Dan Bongino would prefer that I embed the Rumble.com video here, I am now doing that! It finally came to me how to do it, and I am very pleased, because it doesn't require me to use the JavaScript code to do it! So, when you are watching, you will not be seeing it via youtube.com again. Nope, not here. Ever!  No more screwtube embedded video here! Forevs! So, it's now RUMBLE all the way, Dan.  For Dan's show page on Rumble.com, click here.

The Most Disgusting Revelation Yet in the Biden Case ~ Ep. 1374 ~ The Dan Bongino Show®

From the Dan Bongino Show's description of this episode in his Show Notes (a.k.a. Newsletter!):
In this episode, I discuss the disgusting new revelations in the case against the Biden crime family. Biden should immediately drop out of the race if this new information is confirmed. I also address an astonishing comment by a former Twitter executive regarding Donald Trump.

If true, the information that Dan tells us about regarding what is found on Hunter Biden's laptop is disgusting.  No, make that horribly disgusting.  Nah, I have to go a little further: It's horribly disgusting and very disturbing.  I know, I didn't throw in the part that there would be laws that were broken regarding Hunter's heartbreaking interaction with children that carry extreme criminal penalties.

Remember that:  If TRUE.  Well, if I were a betting man, I'd say that a prosecutor would have a slam-dunk case, and there would be an end to Hunter's freedom for a long time, and definitely the end of his pop's political "career"... You know, the Big Guy?  Okay, if there were to be some side bets, I'd put a little skin in on the possible links to the human trafficking rings, along with who will be willing to flip on their associates.  Yeah, that's kind of what criminals do, when faced with life sentences or death penalties.

So, pay close attention to how Dan puts it when he discusses what America's Mayor has done.  Rudy Guiliani has turned over the contents of the hard drive that was on Hunter Biden's laptop that was taken into a repair shop in Delaware that he somehow failed to ever pick up. I am pretty sure that Dan used the word, "Grotesque," but I could be wrong, though he uses that word often when trying to portray disgusting things like what might be on that laptop.

Giuliani, a former U.S. attorney and New York City mayor, confirmed Tuesday night he went Monday to a local police department in Wilmington to report his concerns of children endangerment and sexual exploitation. Giuliani told Just the News that former New York Police Department commissioner Bernard Kerik joined him when he delivered photographs and text messages to the New Castle County Police Department.

"I told them other details about what appears to be an inappropriate sexual relationship," he said in an interview. "They told me it would be investigated."

Okay, I know one thing for sure, following this episode, and what we got out of it:  We are in a true information war.  If the Big Tech companies want to play around with the information, we will find very good alternatives like Rumble.com and Parler.com.  Even if it is by just word of mouth, we can win the information war.  Everybody needs to listen to Dan's podcast episodes, or watch them on Rumble or YouTube, but be informed!  And then do all we can to spread the word, and don't get down and out and give up if some people just won't listen.  Even people in your own family may not want to listen.  That's alright, don't get into a fight with people you love.  Maybe someday, though, they'll find out you were right.  Just sayin'...

However, I'm a little nervous when it comes to using Rumble's java script embedding code in my blogs, so that is why I'm still using the YouTube embedded video of the episode so you can see it here on this page. The Growing Threat of a Digital Coup by the Tech Tyrants ~ Ep. 1363 ~ The Dan Bongino Show®

From the Dan Bongino Show's description of this episode in his Show Notes (a.k.a. Newsletter!):
In this episode, I address the media meltdown over Trump’s recovery from coronavirus. I also discuss the real story behind the explosive new revelations in the Spygate case. They’re all caught. And they know it.

I also discuss the troubling possibility of a digital coup by Big Tech. This is a threat to our Republic. I interview Allum Bokhari about his new book "#DELETED: Big Tech's Battle to Erase the Trump Movement and Steal the Election"
https://www.amazon.com/dp/154605930X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_UiqEFbDQMJBTK
Yes, I've skipped ahead about 10 episodes, meaning there are about 9 episodes I haven't seen yet.  The problem is, when I saw an episode I felt was very important, meaning all of them, I'd have this craving to share them here.  The desire, though, will be on the rest of us, that if we haven't seen them yet, we'll eventually get the time to see every episode.  They are easy to find, once you've been here.  But, what else was bothering me, was to not know how Dan was doing, so I really had to jump ahead so I could be up to date.  I wouldn't have known about his health issue had I not caught one of Dan's appearances on Fox & Friends a week ago.

I was very glad I got to see this episode tonight.  And I still have another episode, from Wednesday, 10/7/20, Ep. 1364, to watch very soon, too.  All of this episode was excellent.  I loved the interview with Allum Bokhari, author and columnist for Breitbart.  I learned a lot from watching that interview.  It was very informative, though part of the discussion may have been more technical than some people will grasp.  But don't worry, the enormous take-away is that there is a lot of evidence that Big Tech could be a great threat to our freedom.  That is what jumped out at me.  And it is pretty scary for those of us that understand how critical information is being "blocked" by Big Tech, and may be in favor of a different candidate in a political race, i.e. Election 2020.

There is a really big reason that the Demonicrats need Joe Biden to win in 2020:  It is the only way to halt the probes and investigations that may take down a lot of former Obama-Biden administration officials, maybe even Hillary.  Dan explains something about Gina Espy, now head of the CIA, who just happens to have links to the London players in Spygate.  Dan lays out the situation, and it would sure be a way for mainstream media to actually survive, if they bothered to report on all of the breaking news in Spygate... Oh, but wait, they just tell the public it's a conspiracy theory.  Nothing to see here... Major mistake on their part.

Thank God for Dan, which is why we really need to be praying for his healing.  We need him around for us, and his family.

Google's war on 'content farming' ~ By Phil Elmore

What if those reprisals harm those who've done no wrong – except in the eyes of Google's search algorithms? Digital journalist Pekka Pekkala writes eloquently of the unintended consequences of Google's crackdown, saying, "As tempting as it is to gloat over Demand Media's misfortune, the Google announcement might have severe consequences to all publishing. ... The big question is how will Google judge who is doing spammy, search-engine inspired headlines and who is doing real customer research with Google Analytics."

Gatekeeping is increasingly necessary in a society overloaded, overflowing and thoroughly saturated with information. Filtering search results of "lower quality" could benefit the user in the same way that publishers will remain relevant to electronic publishing – by screening the useless, the incompetent and the irrelevant. We must, however, ask ourselves who the gatekeepers will be ... and whether we can trust them.

By reading Phil's column today, along with all of the content at the links he provided, I learned all about "content farms," and what their purpose is. In a tiny way, this blog, "Blogging in Our Time 2 Escape," could almost qualify as a content farm. (Okay, my bad; maybe a "backyard content garden plot" would be a better description.) But just the same, the content found here does bring visitors from the search engines (mostly from Google). So, if Google is going to start using an algorithm that is going to filter out "content farms" from search results, could it have an adverse effect on this blog?

As Phil mentions in this column, we must "ask ourselves who the gatekeepers will be ... and whether we can trust them." In one of the linked articles Phil provided, I read on CNET that "Google's Personal Blocklist Chrome extension will allow users to block what they consider low-quality sites from their personalized Google results." Google will track the domains that users flag, and potentially use that information in their search results ranking algorithm. If for some reason Google tends to have users that just don't like the political slant of a blog's content, could that have a serious negative impact on various blogs?

Google's war on 'content farming'

You may not have heard of a "content farm," but if you've ever searched for popular keywords on the Web, you've seen articles "grown" on one. What you don't know is that the Internet's de facto masters have declared war on content farming. The question you must ask yourself is whether contributors to the network of networks that is the Web should be left alone to do as they will ... or if search overlords like Google should save you from yourself by ignoring this "farmed" content.

Tom Krazit, writing for CNET, reports that Google recently introduced a tool for its Chrome browser that lets users screen out results from content farms. Data collected from users' flagging of such "poorly written and sometimes nonsensical" material uploaded "for really no other reason than to appear within search results and draw traffic from Google" would (or could) be used to create a virtual blacklist. This hasn't happened yet, but Google is looking at ways to rank its search results by analyzing which sites and what material users have condemned as content-farmed.

What is the harm of content-farming, really? Technology and news analyst Mathew Ingram likens the content farm to a virtual "sweatshop," in which "digital sharecroppers" toil away for the enrichment of the intergalactic media masters who ultimately own and run the sites. Aggregators – websites that collect and archive material that serves as search engine fishing nets – thus profit largely because people are willing to volunteer their effort.
[Little of the content uploaded to aggregators], which drives a lot of traffic and comments and other valuable forms of engagement, is paid for. Writers do it because they have an idea they want to pitch, or (in too many cases) because they are self-important and like to hear themselves talk. In other words, the same reasons people write blogs ...
Every one of the contributors to those "sweatshops," after all, is an individual poster, sometimes writing to keywords for marketing purposes, but sometimes writing simply because he or she wishes to contribute content to the larger whole. There are ways to make money at it, too. "All of these writers [can conceivably] find ways of monetizing what they do," Ingram writes. "[T]hey get paid for other related services, or they write books or get paid to speak/consult and so on." Combine the possible profit motive with the natural desire of Internet contributors to see their work "published," and you've got a powerful motivation to keep farming content regardless of public reception to it. The reasons are as varied as the individuals behind the keyboards.

"While it's easy to poke some fun at [the quality of some content-farmed] articles," writes Matt Law, "it's worth remembering that there's a person behind every one of them." Many of those contributors, remember, write for nothing or close to nothing, simply for the gratification of seeing their name on a virtually published article.
