The Most Disturbing Interview I’ve Ever Heard ~ Ep. 1229 ~ The Dan Bongino Show®

From the Dan Bongino Show's description of this episode on youtube.com/Bongino or in his Show Notes:
In this episode, I address the stunning interview with this Democrat Governor on the Fox News Channel where he makes some deeply troubling comments. I also address the new report from Fox News about the biggest “coverup” in history. Finally, I address newly declassified footnotes about the Spygate scandal which will open your eyes to the malfeasance that occurred.
There really is no doubt in my mind that there is a lot of malfeasance in the mainstream legacy media, the Demonicrat Party, and the Deep State.  In fact, I've suspected that in about the last four or five decades of my life.  This is just confirmation.  In fact, I'm about to start getting a lot more accepting of the various "conspiracy theories" that are out there at this time.

Thanks to Dan Bongino, in combination with several Fox News hosts, I keep seeing the verification of what had always been a "theory" that I have had.  There is no doubt in my mind that there are many "Progressives," Marxists, in other words, that have a desire to form a One World Government.  And, add in some of the extreme measures that some of the governors have gone to, not to mention local governments, it is like they are trying to soften up our resolve to stay free, in the interest of saving lives.

Please, don't fall for their lies!

The problem is, I really do not know how to tell people to rebel.  Or, when people should rebel.  Where is the actual breaking point?  Or, is there a breaking point? Does it bother you when they kind of send a distinct hint, that "You must comply.  Resistance is futile."?

You know how they cook a frog?  Slowly, so they don't jump out of the pan before they succumb to the heat.  Yep, I heard that about 40 years ago.  But, this is also why I want you to watch this video. You need to see why we should be worried, and Dan will increase your knowledge in this video.

I hope that somebody comes along to dance with me.

Don't Mix Turkey and Politics ~ By Sonnie Johnson

Don’t use Thanksgiving as an “I told you so” occasion. Look at the people that surround you, this is your family, by blood or by choice. Appreciate them. Find out about their lives and if there is something you can do to help. Congratulate them in their success and give them encouraging words to lift them from failure.

In short, don’t talk about your politics but act upon your principles. We are going to spend the next two years wrapped up in another political campaign. We are going to have plenty of time to disagree and fight. Take this time to understand, we are not fighting an enemy to the death, we are trying to shape the course of a nation with our family and friends.
While watching The Five yesterday on the Fox News Channel, I was introduced to Sonnie Johnson and this column. She is a winner, and so is this great column! It's something for us to consider tomorrow when we're together with family and friends. Don't create controversy. Just eat some turkey!

Now for those of you that don't know about Sonnie, let me introduce you to her:

Sonnie Johnson, CEO of Change the Game, interviewed by Jamie Glazov

Yeah, she's pretty cool, and she knows her stuff. She's the CEO of Change the Game (ctghq.org). She's conservative, and she tells it like it is for the black people of America. And she probably won't be making the liberals very happy, either. Oh, there was something she wrote (that I think was actually part of the discussion on The Five), which was her very recent column, "10 Questions Citizens of #Ferguson Should Ask Outside Agitators." Very profound, and interesting, because I had just been discussing that subject with a friend the night before. Anyway, being that Sonnie is now on our radar, you'll be hearing a lot from her in the future.

One last thing. With the holidays and various inflictions being spread around due to the nasty weather of Winter, there may be some times in the next month that the posts here could be somewhat sparse. Call it the "Lame Duck Months" of November and December following a national election, there are also fewer people online at this time, and I see a significant decline in readers and viewers of my work here. Yes, I will still do what I do during this time, though there may be periodic gaps when I just can't get a lot done. And following the troubles in Ferguson, Missouri, is probably more than I can deal with on my own. I was overwhelmed with just too much information, and I found myself being a victim of news-junkie overload.

But thanks to Sonnie Johnson, I found myself again motivated to do what I could today, and then we'll take a little break from politics for a few days. That will be SO nice. There is much to be thankful for this year, and many people to keep in our prayers. Have a very Happy Thanksgiving! And I'm not just sayin'...

If you watch Red Eye, you know how I feel about mixing alcohol and politics. Don’t do it. It's a recipe for disaster, at least if you are talking to me. I tend to not care a single iota about your feelings or reasoning and an intelligent conversation is impossible.

I have the same tendency towards mixing turkey and politics. Conservatives have to learn to be tactical. We can’t be starting a fight over the cranberry sauce because we are upset Obama wrote an executive order granting amnesty to 5 million illegal aliens. When your great aunt Lucy complains about her back pain, don’t blame it on Obamacare. Don’t divide the mashed potatoes to demonstrate the 46% of Americans that don’t pay a Federal income tax. You look like the jackass at the table.

The reverse is also true for the Progressives. Don’t spend 45 minutes preaching on the fuel efficiency of your Prius. No, our thoughts should not stay focused on all the third world countries that would never see such a feast. Please, Please don’t bring up any subject that involves your vagina.

Is Facebook inherently dangerous? ~ By Phil Elmore

So. Should you join Facebook or not? Should you leave if you have? Is the site inherently dangerous to you and yours?

Social technology necessarily moves apace with society. As citizens, criminals, political activists and bored teenagers alike take to the same virtual space for varying reasons, they will, alone together, experience the benefits, the risks, the fun and the consequences of social networking. If we join these networks, we must do so fully cognizant of what we wager. If we opt out, we must acknowledge the losses we incur in social connectivity and convenience. Every one of us must make this decision – not from fear, not from worry and not with casual disregard for the dangers ... but with honesty and awareness.
In this edition of his weekly TECHNOCRACY column, Phil brings up a lot of great information about the possible dangers of being on Facebook or any other social-networking site. To me, perhaps the most intriguing point is the possibility that various sites like Facebook or twitter can be shut off by a government that is afraid of civil unrest. And, yes, that did happen in Egypt, at least for a few days. Any government that is afraid of their own people will always have that option, and what can we do about it?

Yesterday I saw an ad for a car whose primary selling point seems to be that it offers real-time Facebook updates. In the spot (voiced by Tim Allen), a young man uses the feature to see if his new lady love has posted to Facebook about their date.

What is extraordinary about the popularity of Facebook, the social networking site that has arguably expanded the public square while redefining the nature of "friendship," is that the site has become so deeply enmeshed in popular culture after only a few short years. Facebook recently turned just seven years old.

The benefits of social networking are obvious. Setting aside their entertainment value (Facebook offers videos, addicting games, time-wasting quiz applications, real-time chat and so on), such sites allow friends, family and old acquaintances to stay in touch and share their daily lives. Brief updates and uploaded photos make such a large volume of information manageable and digestible. Facebook is also a cost-effective way to promote businesses and social causes, used by everyone from politicians and talk-show hosts to retailers and hobby clubs.

The powerful influence of social networking as a catalyst, communications tool and rallying point for agitation has come to the fore as the world watches Egypt's social upheaval. The very Internet kill switch about which I have previously warned you in Technocracy has been used by Egypt's government in an attempt to silence Twitter and Facebook updates concerning the protests there. It was no surprise when the totalitarian nation of thieves that is China blocked its population's searches for information on Egypt. It is also not a surprise that Obama's regime continues to press for the same oversight.

Facebook is so powerful, in fact, that college newspapers have dubbed it and sites like it a "worldwide weapon" that has been "instrumental in sparking protests that may oust powerful government forces." This is occurring despite Facebook's inflexible policy insisting that users sign up with their real, full names. Joe Fay of the U.K.'s Register writes that this "is great when it comes to stopping cyberbullying or harassment, but not so good when it comes to expounding political views that your government doesn't like."

Resisting ObamaCare, Gandhi Style ~ By Shikha Dalmia

Shikha Dalmia is a senior analyst at Reason Foundation and a biweekly Forbes columnist. As the leftists are getting to the point of hysteria in accusing the TEA Party and Conservative movements of being a violent mob, we must pay close attention to what Shikha is saying in this great column.
Any strategy of nonviolent civil resistance has to first make a good faith effort to achieve its end through the available political and legal means. But there comes a time when changing the law requires acts of conscience.
By Shikha Dalmia

Americans will lose control over basic decisions if this law stands.

President Barack Obama came into office promising hope and change. But he might get more change than he hoped for. By foisting ObamaCare on a deeply unwilling country he might have set the stage for the largest civil disobedience movement since the civil rights era, which, if it plays its cards right, could undo his legislation and his legacy.

President Obama is betting that come November the bruising, yearlong battle that he has just dragged the country through will be a distant memory. But that profoundly underestimates the dismay of a large segment of the public that sees what he signed Tuesday as a fraudulent piece of legislation based on fraudulent thinking backed by fraudulent facts enacted through a fraudulent process. (Yes, Americans do care about "process," Mr. President. It's another name for representative government.)

President Obama tried for a year to convince the country that the cure for rising health care costs and the swelling ranks of the uninsured was a de facto government takeover of the health care system--only to be rebuffed in poll after poll. And if there was any doubt as to where the public stood, it was put to rest by Republican Scott Brown's stunning December victory in Massachusetts, the land of Big Government.

But instead of backing down President Obama went for broke using tactics more reprehensible than the "business as usual politics" that he had pledged to change when he came to office.

First, there were the budgetary magic tricks that he and his Congressional enablers got the highly respected Congressional Budget Office to perform. The last CBO assessment--that pushed the bill through--showed that the Obama plan would reduce the federal deficit by $138 billion over 10 years. The reality, once all the double counting and fantasy savings are eliminated, is that it will add $562 billion.

But the CBO is not the only entity whose honor Democrats have violated--perhaps beyond repair. Federal taxpayers will also get royally screwed when they have to pay for all the sweetheart deals that Obama's Cogressional minions cut behind closed doors and whose true scope will only become apparent in the coming months. (Bart Stupak is rumored to have gotten $700,000 for airport repairs as his sell-out price.)

Worst of all were the shameless parliamentary tactics that Democrats deployed. The Founders deliberately constructed many roadblocks for new laws to prevent elected officials from straying too far from the will of the people. But Democrats could care less about parliamentary niceties.

They are poised to use the so-called nuclear option or "reconciliation" to square the House and the Senate bills. This option will allow the Senate to circumvent the normal committee process to make fixes to the House bill through a simple majority without risking a filibuster. But reconciliation is meant exclusively for budgetary matters--not ramrodding sweeping social legislation on a party-line vote. This is why the Senate parliamentarian--a completely nonpartisan figure--has to approve its use for every fix. But Democrats are poised to have Vice President Joe Biden overrule him should he dare to stand in their way. In short, instead of bending the cost curve, President Obama is bending the rules of accountable government.

It is hardly surprising then that Americans are feeling a growing panic as they watch their constitutional republic descend into a banana republic. President Obama is fond of quoting Mahatma Gandhi's line that "we should be the change we want to see." But Gandhi also said that "civil disobedience becomes a sacred duty when the state has become lawless and corrupt." Americans instinctively understand this which is why pockets of resistance to ObamaCare are already emerging. The question is only whether they can be constructively harnessed into a grassroots, Gandhi-style civil disobedience movement powerful enough to undo this monstrosity.
