So it's sending the news by courier directly to ABC, NBC and CBS headquarters. "For 14 straight days, the three broadcast networks have failed to report on the great and growing Climategate scandal on their weekday morning or evening news programs," writes the MRC on its website, Newbusters.org. "How to explain this? "Perhaps it is that ABC, NBC and CBS have not yet heard of the story, despite two weeks of non-stop reporting on and discussion of Climategate in a whole host of media outlets," the MRC quips. MRC President Brent Bozell announced he plans on sending a copy of the New York Times' front page story on the scandal to ABC News, NBC News and CBS News, "in the hopes that armed with this new information, they will finally report a story that has been roiling nearly everywhere else for a fortnight." To complete its tongue-in-cheek effort to jumpstart media coverage, the MRC even plans on having the newspapers sent by bicycle courier – "so as not to offend the networks' pro-global warming sensibilities," states Newsbusters.
