Where is the Constitution? ~ By Henry Lamb

The meeting in Paris on March 19, attended by Hillary Clinton and representatives from other nations, was a group of "state actors issuing guidance and control mechanisms" that resulted in the bombing of a sovereign nation – using U.S. military assets without congressional approval. This action is global governance in action. Global governance must be rejected and national sovereignty reaffirmed as the only authority that governs the citizens of the United States.

If Barrack Hussein Obama cannot accept this concept, then he must be impeached. If there are too many progressive globalists still in Congress to accomplish this feat, then they too must be replaced with candidates who not only swear to "... preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution" but who pledge to obey it in every law and action.

The election in November 2010 was a good start toward restoring the Constitution. The election in 2012 will determine whether we do, in fact, respect and restore the Constitution or continue down Obama's road toward global governance.

I happened to find this column by Henry Lamb from early last week, written in addition to his normal Weekend column on WorldNetDaily.com. It is pretty easy to tell that Henry was worked up in this commentary, which explains his motivation to go above and beyond his normal weekly fulfillment of a column for WND.

So, what is it that had Henry so ruffled? When you read this column, you will surely understand, but I'll go ahead and summarize it here for you: 1) Obama committed U.S. armed forces into hostile action without consulting Congress, 2) which violates the War Powers Act, and worse yet, 3) "Obama disregarded the Constitution while submitting to the United Nations Security Council, and engaging the U.S. military" in Libya, 4) without even a whimper from leftist protesters.

In other words, "Obama's action is not simply endorsement of global governance; it is submission to it." Henry goes on to say the following, and he is absolutely right:
Every representative and senator should be deluged with phone calls from constituents demanding that the president be, at least, reprimanded for his behavior – and possibly impeached.

Editor's note: Listen to this column online.

President Obama swore an oath to "... preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States." He should have sworn to obey it.

Congress, alone, has the power to declare war, and to make all the laws necessary to engage in military conflict. The War Powers Act defines precisely what is required of the president before military action may commence.

Obama launched 118 missiles and dropped 40 bombs on Libya without a thought about Congress or the Constitution.

He was quite concerned, however, about the United Nations. He hardly noticed the attacks on protesters until the United Nations Security Council approved a resolution authorizing the use of force against the Libyan government. Within hours after U.N. approval, the U.S. military was engaged – without the knowledge or approval of Congress.

This event is proof-positive evidence of two staggering realities: Obama refuses to accept the limitations on government, and particularly on his office, imposed by the Constitution, and Obama considers the United Nations to be a higher authority than Congress.

This event should be grounds for severe congressional censure, if not impeachment.

When President Bush bombed Iraq, he had congressional approval. Nevertheless, the left went berserk in protest, claiming that "Bush lied; people died." In response to a question from a Boston Globe reporter, Obama said: "As president, I will not assert a constitutional authority to deploy troops in a manner contrary to an express limit imposed by Congress and adopted into law" (Source: Boston Globe questionnaire on Executive Power Dec 20, 2007).

Obviously, Obama lied; people died. Where are the leftist protesters?

Dire warning: Israel must strike Iran now

There are a few questions to ask yourself regarding this story. If Iran is attempting to build nuclear weapons, why hasn't Obama or the U.N. Security Council done anything? (And they won't: They can't even agree on sanctions! Could this just be hysteria, such as what we experienced before going to war against Iraq because of the WMD (which was probably moved to Syria before we attacked)? Or, does Israel have no choice but but to attack Iran, and do it soon?

Do you agree with John Bolton? Personally, I must say that I do.
Bolton said he believes there is no doubt Israel possesses the military capability to hit Iran's nuclear sites, but he said the Jewish state would need to act soon.

"I think the problem is that the military option is declining day by day," he said. "Every day that goes by is another day where the Iranians can build alternative facilities for uranium conversion, uranium enrichment weaponization, that are in unknown locations that are deeply buried or hardened and that Israel's capabilities just can't reach."
Tehran will have nukes before U.N., Obama do anything, says diplomat

John Bolton
The only action that can stop Iran from building nuclear weapons is an Israeli strike on Tehran's nuclear facilities, argued John Bolton, the former U.S. ambassador to the U.N. under the Bush administration.

Speaking in a radio interview with WND senior reporter Aaron Klein, who hosts an investigative program on New York's WABC 770 AM, Bolton warned time is running out for an Israeli attack.

"Right now we know about the facilities. ... We know where they are," he said. "We know exactly what their dimensions are, and I think they are susceptible to an Israeli attack."

Bolton said an Israeli military option "isn't there forever. ... If Israel is going to use military force, it needs to use it sooner rather than later."

Bolton posited, "Right now, basically the only scenario that I see other than Iran getting nuclear weapons is military strikes against their nuclear program that result in breaking Iran's control over the nuclear fuel cycle."

Why I don't advocate war between Israel and Iran ~ By Jerome Corsi

Commentary from WorldNetDaily
Jerome Corsi By Jerome Corsi Posted: December 16, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 In a reference to my book "Why Israel Cant Wait: The Coming War Between Israel and Iran," Meir Javedanfar wrote on the Huffington Post, "Dr. Corsi, together with former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton, belongs to a cadre of American Republicans who have taken it upon themselves to champion an Israeli attack on Iran's nuclear installation as the only viable solution to the Iranian nuclear conundrum." "Why Israel Can't Wait" predicts that a war between Iran and Israel is imminent, but it does not recommend a war. Clearly, Javedanfar fails to appreciate the distinction between predicting a war and advocating a war. He suggests that marginalized and frustrated right-wingers "want to desperately see" a failure of President Obama's policies, at home and abroad, "as a vindication for their own policies and worldview." Again, Javedarfur fails to appreciate the difference between predicting President Obama's policies at home and abroad will fail and wanting those policies to fail. In "Why Israel Can't Wait," I predicted President Obama's policy of negotiating directly with the Ahmadinejad regime would fail because Iran would game the negotiations, just as Iran has done for years, if not decades. I further predicted in "Why Israel Can't Wait" that President Obama would not obtain meaningful additional sanctions through the United Nations because of Russia and China's support for Iran. Now that Lebanon has been voted onto the Security Council, the reality is that Hezbollah will block any adverse action that body contemplates in the form of more onerous sanctions applied against Iran. In authoring two books on Iran during the Bush administration and in scores of radio and television interviews, I have argued consistently that peaceful regime change from within is by far the best solution to stopping Iran's nuclear-weapons program. In June, when thousands of protesters poured into the streets of Tehran to protest the fraudulent re-election of President Ahmadinejad, President Obama once again failed to act in a way that produced positive policy results. Never did Obama demand new presidential elections in Iran to be held under meaningful international inspection. READ FULL STORY >

NKorea launches rocket, defying world pressure

By JEAN H. LEE and JAE-SOON CHANG, Associated Press Writers SEOUL, South Korea – North Korea fired a rocket over Japan on Sunday, defying Washington, Tokyo and others who suspect the launch was cover for a test of its long-range missile technology. President Barack Obama warned the move would further isolate the communist nation. Liftoff took place at 11:30 a.m. (0230 GMT) from the coastal Musudan-ri launch pad in northeastern North Korea, the South Korean and U.S. governments said. The multistage rocket hurtled toward the Pacific, reaching Japanese airspace within seven minutes, but no debris appeared to hit its territory, officials in Tokyo said. Four hours after the launch, North Korea declared it a success. An experimental communications satellite reached outer space in just over nine minutes and is orbiting, the state-run Korean Central News Agency said in a dispatch from Pyongyang. "The satellite is transmitting the melodies 'Song of Gen. Kim Il Sung' and 'Song of Gen. Kim Jong Il' as well as measurement data back to Earth," it said, referring to the country's late founder and his son, its current leader. Sunday's move was a bold act of defiance against Obama, Japanese leader Taro Aso, Hu Jintao of China and others who pressed Pyongyang in the days leading up to liftoff to cancel a launch they said would threaten peace and stability in Northeast Asia. The U.N. Security Council approved an emergency session for Sunday afternoon in New York, following a request from Japan that came just minutes after the launch. "North Korea has ignored its international obligations, rejected unequivocal calls for restraint and further isolated itself from the community of nations," Obama said in Prague, urging Pyongyang to honor the U.N. resolutions and to refrain from further "provocative" actions. China, Pyongyang's biggest source of economic aid and diplomatic support, urged all sides to maintain calm and exercise restraint. It offered to play a "constructive role," though some fear it could use its veto power to block a unified response to the launch at the Security Council. North Korea says the launch of the "Kwangmyongsong-2" satellite was a peaceful bid to develop its space program. But the U.S., South Korea, Japan and others suspect the launch was a guise for testing the regime's long-range missile technology — a worrying step toward eventually mounting a nuclear weapon on a missile capable of reaching Alaska and beyond.
