ACORN: LA Story Program for Torture Victims Part I ACORN: LA Story Program for Torture Victims Part 2Andrew Breitbart, whose BigGovernment.com rocked Washington with undercover videos exposing ACORN corruption, has issued U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder an ultimatum: Conduct an investigation into ACORN, or more videos will be released just in time to drop a bombshell on the 2010 elections. "This message is to Attorney General Holder," Breitbart said on the Fox News network's "Hannity" last night. "I want you to know that we have more tapes, it's not just ACORN, and we're going to hold out until the next election cycle. … If you get into an investigation, we will give you the tapes; if you don't give us the tapes, we will revisit these tapes come election time." The show's host, Sean Hannity, responded, "This is a blockbuster, what you're saying here. You guys have more tapes, you'll release them before the election – that could have a big impact on the election." Breitbart's ultimatum joins the already growing number of U.S. representatives who earlier this week introduced a House resolution requesting Holder appoint a special counsel to investigate allegations regarding ACORN. H. Res. 911, introduced by Rep. Vernon Ehlers, R-Mich., and cosponsored by 28 representatives, states concern that ACORN may have been spending federal money illegally and charges, "There has not been a cohesive approach to investigating these allegations." ACORN sues government for stripping funding after scandal
From NewYorkDailyNews.com
By John Marzulli DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER Thursday, November 12th 2009, 3:46 PM ACORN sued the U.S. government Thursday for stripping the nonprofit of funding after employees were caught giving tax advice to a couple they thought was a pimp and his hooker. The lawsuit, filed in Brooklyn Federal Court, seeks to lift a funding ban put into effect on Oct. 1 in the wake of national outrage over the embarassing scandal. ACORN staffers were captured on hidden cameras at several offices nationwide, including in Brooklyn, advising the couple to hide their income. "The charges leveled against ACORN by members of Congress such as that it is a 'criminal enterprise,' or a 'corrupt and criminal organization,' or a 'crooked bunch' are false," the complaint said. The complaint does not specify how much money the group has lost because of the ban. Jules Lobel, a lawyer for the Center for Constitutional Rights, which is representing ACORN, said the group's rights were violated because the federal funding went into effect before any investigation was completed. "It's not the job of Congress to be the judge, jury and executioner," Lobel said. [CLICK HERE TO READ MORE]

I'll just call this "OBAMACORN"
Unless you were born yesterday and fell off the turnip truck just this morning, you shouldn't need any additional commentary to see what is going on. This isn't even just the tip of the iceberg. The corruption in this administration is rampant. And ACORN is the proof in the pudding. Thank God for the O'Keefe & Giles expose. It opened up the story beyond all belief. It proved Glenn Beck to be correct in all that he had been talking about. Andrew Breitbart and biggovernment.com had a very big part in allowing the expose' to see the light of day.

Unearthed! Obama's twisted ACORN roots
From WorldNetDaily
Track timeline of president's ties to group immersed in scandals Posted: September 18, 2009 ~ 12:10 am Eastern By Chelsea Schilling © 2009 WorldNetDailyWhile ACORN remains riddled in scandal, lawmakers have voted to cut off federal funding to the group, the U.S. Census Bureau has severed ties to the organization – and the White House has blasted its behavior as "unnacceptable." But just how extensive are President Obama's personal ties to ACORN? The following is a timeline outlining some of the purported connections between the president and ACORN through the years: 1990s: Obama meets ACORN ACORN, or the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, first noticed Obama when he was organizing on the far south side of the city with the Developing Communities Project. A March 2, 2008, Los Angeles Times article by Letta Tayler and Keith Herbert, titled "Obama Forged Path As Chicago Community Organizer," explored Obama's pre-law school days as a community organizer in Chicago and his efforts to build a partnership with Chicago's "Friends of the Parks." "Obama's task was to help far South Side residents press for improvement," the Times article explained. National Review Online noted, "Part of Obama's work, it would appear, was to organize demonstrations, much in the mold of radical groups like ACORN." The Times article reveals that Madeleine Talbot, who at the time was a leader at Chicago ACORN, was thoroughly impressed with Obama because "he got people to vote with their feet." "At the time, Talbot worked at the social action group ACORN and initially considered Obama a competitor," the article stated. "But she became so impressed with his work that she invited him to help train her staff." Talbott personally led Chicago ACORN's campaign to intimidate banks into making high-risk loans to low-credit customers, Stanley Kurtz reported. "Long the director of Chicago ACORN, Talbott is a specialist in 'direct action' – organizers' term for their militant tactics of intimidation and disruption," Kurtz writes. "Perhaps her most famous stunt was leading a group of ACORN protesters breaking into a meeting of the Chicago City Council to push for a 'living wage' law, shouting in defiance as she was arrested for mob action and disorderly conduct. But her real legacy may be her drive to push banks into making risky mortgage loans."[CLICK HERE TO READ MORE OF THIS AMAZING STORY!]
The stunning, total defeat of ACORN ~ By Byron York
From washingtonexaminer.com
By: Byron York Chief Political Correspondent 09/17/09 3:43 PM EDT The ACORN vote in the House is stunning news. Just 48 hours after Republican Leader John Boehner introduced the "Defund ACORN Act," the bill -- which most Republicans thought Democrats would do anything to block -- passed by a resounding 345-75 vote. It would never have made it to a vote had not the Democratic leadership decided to allow it, and the winning total included 172 Democrats. Yes, 172 House Democrats voted to totally cut off funding for an organization that has worked for years on behalf of Democrats nationwide. [CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE READING]But not so fast, friends. President Obama would still have to sign the bill. Just sayin...
