Time 2 Escape WIFLI Briefing for Tuesday, Mar 13, 2012

Welcome to this edition of Time 2 Escape WIFLI Briefing!

What is WIFLI?
You may be wondering what the acronym "WIFLI" means. I started out by calling these issues the Time 2 Escape Daily, but that didn't work out very well. I quickly learned that putting these issues together on a daily basis was a task I was unable to accomplish. To replace "Daily" in the title, I coined the acronym WIFLI, which literally means "When I Feel Like It." Putting together a post on this blog WIFLI works much better for my schedule, and for the higher quality of each issue that is eventually published!

It has been a week since my last edition of the Time 2 Escape WIFLI Briefing. That explains my decision to use my acronym, WIFLI (see above) in the name of these posts. After the last edition was published, I decided to take a couple days off from being productive. When I finally got back to work last Saturday, I actually expected to have an issue ready to publish by Sunday. But I found myself struggling to develop a theme for this issue.

It finally came to me early Sunday morning after listening to a radio show that caught my complete attention. The show was about the efforts of a very small group of the globalist elite that want to create a New World Order and global currency.  This has been a generational effort. The plans were detailed on how they would eventually accomplish their NWO goals. Because the undertaking of the plan has stretched over several hundred years, the changes have been extremely gradual, to the point where most people would never realize what was happening to them and our national sovereignty here in the United States. You know, like how you cook a frog.

Radical changes would never have worked... well, not until our current day. With so many of our children being indoctrinated over the last few generations in the public school system, and all of us soaking in the meaningless news that is dished out to us via the establishment-run mainstream media, I believe our globalist enemies believe that now is their time.

In 2008, the puppet-masters managed to get their progressive/socialist/globalist puppet elected as our President. Fortunately, enough of us were awake, created the Tea Party Movement, and managed to get the House of Representatives out of the control of the Democrats and the evil Marxist Speaker Nancy Pelosi, the very one that said we'd find out what was in Obamacare when it was passed. We slowed down the progress toward the socialist state that the globalist elites are steering us towards.

For those of us that want to halt the progress towards pushing our freedom off of a cliff, all of our efforts must be focused on making sure that many more Americans are made aware of the truth. We were lucky to have Andrew Breitbart here with us, even though that time was cut way too short. He set the standard. He moved the bar up higher than most of us can reach, at least on our own. However, I can promise you that thousands of the patriots out here, when our efforts are combined, will be able to carry on.

I happen to believe that Andrew Breitbart lived by the advice, or at least something similar, that Ralph Marston wrote in his Daily Motivator this morning: "Instead of resenting what you must do, rejoice at the opportunity to make a difference. Instead of casting yourself as a victim of low expectations, raise those expectations higher and higher through your commitment to excellence." You will want to know that if you are going to take action as Pamela Geller suggests:

Nonetheless, when I was speaking in Florida last Friday evening, someone asked me who would fill Breitbart’s shoes. No one. No one could. But all of us must. ~ Pamela Geller, in Gen. Patton leaves the field ...
That's right. Not one of us can fill Andrew's shoes, but we must, and that is going to take all of our efforts to go one better, to be going beyond what is expected of us. That's only if you believe that there really are people that want to end our freedom, and if you REALLY BELIEVE that your efforts can actually preserve our liberty. Oh, and we must all care! We must be Breitbart.  I'm just sayin'...

Iran War ‘Doomsday Clock’ Set to 10-Minutes-to-Midnight as Netanyahu Hints Conflict Could Occur Within Months
From THEBLAZE ~ by Sharona Schwartz ~ Posted on March 11, 2012 at 9:19am

The Iran War Clock - The Atlantic

On the heels of President Barack Obama’s meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last week, diplomats and pundits continue to try to answer the perplexing question: Will Israel and/or the U.S. launch a military strike on Iran?

Now, one publication is throwing some science into the mix. Or at least political science. Modeled on the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists’ Doomsday Clock showing “how close humanity is to catastrophic destruction,” The Atlantic has assembled a group of former policymakers, journalists and academics to provide their private opinions, which are then combined into a collective prediction.

The clock is presently set at 10 minutes to midnight, or a 48 percent chance of war.

More from The Atlantic:
War or peace in the Middle East amounts to a coin toss. The probability that the United States or Israel will strike Iran in the next year is 48 percent according to a new project that predicts the chances of conflict–the Iran War Clock. And as a result, the clock is set to 10 minutes to midnight.

Panetta caught in one-world scheme
Defense secretary says 'international permission' trumps Congress
From WND ~ By Aaron Klein ~ Published Thursday, March 8th, 2012

LEON PANETTA
Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta is facing criticism for statements he made at a hearing this week regarding the use of international military force without the explicit approval of Congress.

WND was first to report that before he was appointed chief of the CIA in 2009, Panetta co-chaired an initiative to regulate U.S. oceans and cede them to United Nations-based international law.

Panetta’s oceans initiative was a key partner of an organization that promotes world government, Citizens for Global Solutions.

Also, the group’s parent organization, the World Federalist Movement, promotes democratized global institutions with plenary constitutional power. It is a coordinator and member of Responsibility to Protect, the controversial United Nations military doctrine used by Obama as the main justification for U.S. and international airstrikes against Libya.

At the hearing this week, Panetta stressed the need for “international permission” to launch an international military campaign against Syria, skirting questions about seeking congressional approval for such use of military force.

Battle Hymn: Revelations of the Sinister Plan for a New World Order

Publication Date (paperback): July 7, 2011

This book presents frightening, but truthful, facts that will shake many of your deepest beliefs to the core. A dark plan, put into place centuries ago, has come to fruition. Consider Battle Hymn your wake-up call... Painstakingly researched through hundreds of sources and interviews, Battle Hymn rips the cover off the invisible government that controls our leaders and soon, our very lives. Composed of just a few hundred powerful but unelected people, this elite cadre seeks to create a one-world government to complete its already advanced globalist plans to end the sovereignty of all nations--including the United States. Its ultimate goal is complete control through a New-World Order where a socialist dictatorship ensures that every citizen is tagged, mollified and productive.
[Note from Time 2 Escape's Editor: John Scura, co-author of the book, was on Coast to Coast A.M. on March 10, 2012, chatting with host John B. Wells about this book. Coast Insiders can download and listen to the interview here.]

Wind farms in Pacific Northwest paid to not produce
From FoxNews.com ~ By Dan Springer ~ Published March 07, 2012

Wind farms in the Pacific Northwest -- built with government subsidies and maintained with tax credits for every megawatt produced -- are now getting paid to shut down as the federal agency charged with managing the region's electricity grid says there's an oversupply of renewable power at certain times of the year.

The problem arose during the late spring and early summer last year. Rapid snow melt filled the Columbia River Basin. The water rushed through the 31 dams run by the Bonneville Power Administration, a federal agency based in Portland, Ore., allowing for peak hydropower generation. At the very same time, the wind howled, leading to maximum wind power production.

Demand could not keep up with supply, so BPA shut down the wind farms for nearly 200 hours over 38 days.

"It's the one system in the world where in real time, moment to moment, you have to produce as much energy as is being consumed," BPA spokesman Doug Johnson said of the renewable energy.

Now, Bonneville is offering to compensate wind companies for half their lost revenue. The bill could reach up to $50 million a year.

The extra payout means energy users will eventually have to pay more.

‘This Spring, We‘ll See Action’: Piven Issues Dark Prediction on Occupy Wall Street
From THEBLAZE ~ by Madeleine Morgenstern ~ Posted on March 9, 2012 at 5:28am

According to Frances Fox Piven:

  • The Occupy Wall Street movement is entering the phase where it “makes trouble.”
  • “We’ll see action against the banks, against the corporations.”
  • Different forms of protests that will engage many people.
  • Occupy was helped by “sympathetic” press coverage.

Frances Fox Piven
Leftist professor and activist Frances Fox Piven last week predicted the Occupy Wall Street movement is entering the phase where it “makes trouble” and will soon be taking action against banks and other institutions.

It may well be that the Occupy movement is now in its second phase, in the phase where it makes trouble, in the phase where it threatens to shut down institutions,” Piven said. “The Occupy movement has moved into the neighborhoods of our cities, it has moved into the schools….This spring, we’ll see action against the banks, against the corporations.

She added, “It is going to be a spring with lots of protests that take different forms and engage lots of people.

And here is a story that is just totally absurd. It is the result of Global Governance in the name of sustainable development based on Agenda 21:

Just shut up!
Exclusive: Barbara Simpson fights back against assaults on freedom of speech
From WND Commentary ~ By Barbara Simpson ~ Published Mar 11, 2012

BARBARA SIMPSON
Did you hear the latest? The government-sponsored inquiry into the media and what it does resurfaced last week with a proposal to put restrictions on virtually everything – print, broadcast and the Internet.

In other words, all media would be scrutinized for “fairness and balance.”

Transgressions would be tracked, and media outlets would be legally accountable.

The same rules would apply to the Internet with government control over which URLs are permitted (domestic and foreign) and what content is allowed; even blogs with as few as 40 hits a day would be affected.

Breitbart's death just a coincidence?
Exclusive: Barry Farber shares concerns of famed medical examiner
From WND Commentary ~ By Barry Farber ~ Published Tuesday, Mar 6, 2012

BARRY FARBER
First, let’s nail down the difference between a conspiracy theorist and a broad-minded person. A conspiracy theorist says, “Of course, Andrew Breitbart was assassinated. Look how many people benefit from his absence. He told CPAC he had videos that could doom Obama’s re-election chances. He told Sinclair News three weeks before he died, ‘Wait till March 1st!’ He died on March 1st. You’re a blind, cowardly idiot if you can’t see he was murdered.”

That’s the conspiracy theorist. The broad-minded person says, “There’s something not quite right here!”

Dr. Michael Baden is a broad-minded person who sits at the tip-top of the medical examiner (coroner) profession. Congress made him the medical examiner equivalent of America’s poet laureate. In addition to being chief medical examiner of New York City for decades, Dr. Baden was called in to do forensic work on the assassination of John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King. He was called into the O.J. case. The Russian government reached across a continent and an ocean to have Dr. Baden determine whether newly exhumed bodies in Siberia were really those of the Romanoff (czarist) family. (They were!) There’s more on Dr. Baden, but that should do.

Andrew Breitbart at CPAC 2012
An article like this takes more character than stopping after one salted peanut. My editors would likely put this column “above the flag” – newspaper-ese for “maximum prominence” – if I could get Dr. Baden to say he suspects foul play in the demise of Andrew Breitbart. However, like a good football referee, let me put the ball exactly where Dr. Baden left it.

It’s known Breitbart had heart problems. And Dr. Baden believes, despite the almost supernatural coincidence of Breitbart dying precisely when his powerful enemies wished he would, that there was no foul play. But Baden doesn’t stop there.

Gen. Patton leaves the field
Exclusive: Pamela Geller says the world's a scarier place without Andrew Breitbart
From WND Commentary ~ By Pamela Geller ~ Published Tuesday, Mar 6, 2012

PAMELA GELLER
I cannot get my arms around Breitbart’s sudden death. I just can’t. Gen. Patton in the information battle-space leaves the battlefield at Normandy.

I mourn deeply on a personal level. My thoughts and prayers are with his wonderful wife and children. What a profound loss.

Andrew Breitbart was our warrior, our leader. Fearless, unapologetic, brilliant. I admire few people, but I admired him. He was in a league of his own. The herculean contribution he made to the war against the left and the enemedia cannot be calculated.

I just loved him. He was the only one on the right with fierce spine and courage. So many in the big right blogosphere and media are so afraid of tackling certain issues. They are weak. They are insipid. Andrew Breitbart was anything but weak or insipid. He loved to confront the lies, the corruption, the evil. He was the happy warrior indeed.

The world is a scarier place without him. I do not overstate his influence. The left and its organ grinder’s monkey, the enemedia, feared him. He terrified them. It’s why they despised him so.

He was a fearless champion.

Why we are a nation divided
Exclusive: Patrice Lewis says both left and right have turned gov't into an invasive cancer
From WND Commentary ~ By Patrice Lewis ~ Published Friday, Mar 9, 2012

PATRICE LEWIS
With the presidential elections coming up this year, I’ve been giving a great deal of thought to why we are so divided as a nation. I know division has always been endemic in our country – in any country, really – but lately it seems that things are getting worse.

Why is that, do you suppose?

In a previous column, I touched on an idea that may offer some insight. I believe we’re divided because each side wants the government to support its own agenda, rather than keeping the government within its constitutional limitations.

What I wrote was: “So when election-year promises come down to politicians informing us that ‘MY government solution is better than THEIR government solution,’ I’m not impressed. … If we got rid of unconstitutional government interference, most of our country’s problems would solve themselves through the often harsh corrections of the free market.

“The trouble is, by allowing free-market corrections, we’d have no one to blame but ourselves when things go wrong or fail. But when we accept Big Brother solutions, it means we can blame the other guy’s government. And that’s why this nation is so polarized – we no longer take personal blame and responsibility for our failures, and instead spend all our time blaming the other guy’s government ‘solution.’”

Corruption beyond our imaginations
Exclusive: Joseph Farah quotes Joe Biden in rundown of 'clean energy' skulduggery
From WND Commentary ~ By Joseph Farah ~ Published Tuesday, Mar 6, 2012

JOSEPH FARAH
How does Barack Obama’s administration get away with it?

How does it systematically redistribute billions in taxpayer money to sham companies, take political contributions from those companies, watch the government subsidies squandered, and pay no political price with voters?

How?

The secret to their success is being involved in corruption that is audacious and beyond the imaginations of most Americans, who simply cannot believe anyone would or could attempt to get away with such schemes.

[Editor's note:  Skipping down to the end of the column for these very important words of wisdom for the GOP ... Emphasis below is my own.]

Who benefits? The politically connected pseudo-entrepreneurs and Obama and other Democrats who benefited from the kickbacks to their campaigns.

Why aren’t Republican presidential candidates talking about this monumental scandal every day?

Why aren’t they making commercials of those appearances by Biden?

Why aren’t they running against what amounts to a criminal conspiracy?

Go one better
From The Daily Motivator ~ By Ralph Marston ~ Published Tuesday, Mar 13, 2012

RALPH MARSTON
Do circumstances demand that you get up an hour earlier? Then put yourself firmly in control, go one better, and get up two hours earlier.

As long as you’re making the effort, make it count. Rather than doing just the minimum required to merely get by, do the maximum of which you’re capable.

Don’t just break even by giving what you’re expected to give. Go one better, and exceed everyone’s expectations.

And finally, there is this video that I stumbled on several days ago in a tweet by Rick Santorum. Yes, I still support Rick Santorum for the GOP nomination. But, the real reason for sharing this video with you is the discovery of the First Love Band. I think that you will see these young musicians go somewhere in life. Why? They seem to understand the concept of "Going One Better," and they are living it! You will love this song. I believe that, because I know Rick loves it. He said so in his own tweet! (That was how I discovered this song, and the group, First Love Band!)

  1. A little more of your own writing is in order. Also I needed to do too much scrolling. Is it possible to lay-out your links differently? Many these days have a short attention span and will never get to the bottom to share and comment. :)

  2. Dear Anonymous,

Comments that I receive are always very welcome, and I appreciate your concerns and suggestions.

I very much liked that you said a "little more of your own writing is in order" which tells me that you enjoy what I have to say and/or how I write (my style). That is the kind of positive critique that keeps me motivated.

It has been nearly four years since I began this particular blog site. I have experimented with many different styles and formats during this time. I always strive to keep this blog attractive to the readers. I have done a lot of adjustments over the years in order to keep my readers coming back for more. Some things work very well right up until some other blogger comes along and outperforms me. :)

But, thee is one thing that I refuse to do: I do not want to try to do things exactly like everyone else. I want to be different to whatever extent is possible. So, I am sure you can understand that it is always going to be a challenge to be a little different. Going one better is never an easy task.

As far as short attention span goes, you have that absolutely right; it is just the way things are these days. However, apparently the folks with attention deficit disorders are not part of my target audience. I have found that this blog tends to attract the kind of readers that enjoy great content, mixed with my own commentary. Believe it or not, there are actually many people that enjoy a long story, and are willing to spend the time to see what I've recorded in this journal.

This comment isn't meant to cut you down, Anonymous, because as I said, I appreciate the critique. But you must remember, it's possible that not everyone has a problem with having a short attention span. If that were the case, I would have stuck with my original format which you can see by going back through my archives from 2008 and 2009. But even then, when posting several times a day, I quickly found out that not everyone was willing to check out everything that I was posting. An extended amount of time for some readers to stay focused has ALWAYS a big factor.

At any rate, whether some readers are happy with how I do this blog or not, the way I am doing this blog seems to be working for me, because it allows me to keep working hard at keeping people informed and educating the readers on the dangers of losing our freedom in a way I had been hoping to find for a long, long time.

Anonymous, I know, that with the technology we have at our fingertips 24/7/365, it gets more difficult to stay focused on any one tidbit of information at a time. That subject may deserve a post on my johnny2k Is Home blog (see on the top menu). And hopefully, you didn't lose your attention span while reading this comment. I'm just sayin'...
