America Together: Returning to Work Town Hall with President Trump ~ Parts 1 and 2 ~ Fox News Videos

Well, you wonder, why was it so long before I could put this post together with the "Returning to Work Town Hall with President Trump," which was aired a week ago? It truly was a very busy news week. I concentrated on Dan Bongino's episodes regarding Gen. Flynn, which really did consume most of my time. I kept this one on the backburner until I finally had the time to watch both parts.

It is probably safe to say now, people want to get back to work! Enough is enough!  This may actually be a better time for me to publish this Town Hall now, rather than a week ago. We've now had a chance to see the challenges that the lack of employment is putting on this country, thanks to the acts of courage of various entrepreneurs that just wanted to be able to put food on the table, and not lose everything during the Wuhan Virus Shutdown of 2020. Two people were arrested for doing that: Kelley Luther and Jax Myers. We must remember to thank them when the various States start opening for business. I think that their stories showed the desperation of the American people, wanting to get back to the "old normal." The "new normal" really isn't working out so well.

I think that President Trump is right. But, perhaps you will see both videos below, and come to a different conclusion. At least now, you can get first hand information right from the President. As Fox News says, "Here's the news, fair and balanced, and then you decide."

Hijacking the tea party ~ By Joseph Farah

I sure hope a lot of people read and pay attention to what Joseph Farah had to say in this column. The election this November, the Midterm election, is the most important election that we may have ever experience. It could be our last chance. As Joseph says, it is "a pivotal vote that will determine whether the United States of America will continue to be the shining city on a hill, a beacon of freedom and justice throughout the world." It will be our time to let the politicians know that We the People are no longer going to be apathetic. We the People aren't going to continue to twiddle our thumbs, thinking that there isn't anything we can do about what our politicians are doing to us.

This is OUR time to take back America, and We the People do not have much time left if we want to stay free. We need to vote, not just in November, but very importantly, NOW, during the primaries. It is our chance to get rid of the politicians who have been treating us like useful idiots. Just like what some of us did during last Summer's Congressional recess, where we crowded town hall meetings and gave the Congressmen and Congresswomen a piece of our minds, it's now time for the smack-down in order to show the politicians that didn't listen to us and went ahead with passing ObamaCare that they can no longer get away with it. It's time to let them know that they represent us, and can no longer get away with ignoring the Will of We the People. Just sayin'....

Pray that God smiles on America this year.

Pray that God smiles on the tea-party movement and uses it mightily.

Pray that God confuses the minds of all those who would use this movement for their own self-aggrandizement.

Pray that the tea-party movement does not get hijacked by those who would turn it into a strictly materialistic endeavor devoid of God's real concerns for the nation.

Pray for unity and success for the tea-party movement.

The tea-party movement is only about two years old, but, because of its potency, there have already been many attempts to hijack it.

From politicians trying to resurrect their careers to media activists trying to establish careers, there is a temptation to think of the tea-party movement as cattle or sheep that can be herded in any direction with skillful manipulation.

I don't believe that's true.

I hope it's not true.

The tea-party movement is so important to the future of the country precisely because it is an amorphous, grass-roots uprising – called not by leadership but by national crisis and necessity.

It's not only political folly to attempt to get in front of this parade, it's probably bad career advice.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: The tea-party movement is the broadest and potentially most powerful grass-roots political movement in my lifetime. But there is also a spiritual component to it that most of the hijackers either can't understand or don't want to understand.

This is not just a band of Americans angry about their dollar not going as far as it once did. This is not just a movement centered on materialistic concerns. This is not just a bunch of rubes in need of direction from more sophisticated minds.

I laugh when I hear seasoned conservative activists talking about how they intend to teach the tea partiers how to be winners.

With the exception of a momentary second wind in 1994, the conservative establishment has been moribund since Ronald Reagan's administration. Because it threw its lot in with the Republican Party, come hell or high water, the conservative movement allowed itself to be co-opted and taken for granted.

The great potential of the tea-party movement is that it will not allow that to happen.

Land of the free – or land of the bureaucrats? ~ By Star Parker

Here I go again. Posting another story that contradicts what the state-run media wants you to believe: That the Tea Party Movement and Conservatives are just a bunch of racists...

I am trying to do my best to help more people understand what the Tea Party Movement (a non-violent civil rebellion) is all about. And of course, for those that DO understand that Conservatives and tea parties are about wanting to keep our liberty, please make sure that you help me and Star and all of the great Conservative commentators get the word out - WE ARE NOT RACISTS! And this is the perfect column that makes that point!
What is new today is we can no longer continue the illusion of having our cake and eating it. We can no longer afford to be both a big-government entitlement state and a free, creative and prosperous nation. It's the prosperity created by our freedom that has financed the entitlements. But now the entitlements are overtaking and strangling our freedom.

So now is a time of choosing. We're either going to remain the land of the free or transform into the land of the bureaucrat.

The antipathy of activists toward Mr. Obama is not about how he looks but what he has done – that he has chosen and imposed on us the path of bureaucracy.

Like chewing gum stuck to the heel of your shoe, racism seems to be stuck forever to American public discourse. No matter what we do or what happens, somebody will find a racial motive.

Democrats have passed government health care with no Republican votes. Their leadership threatened and bribed their own members to eek out a majority. They resorted to an arcane procedure that maybe 100 people in the whole country can explain in order to pass a massive bill that polls show a majority of Americans don't want.

The federal government, for the first time ever, will force every American to buy, with a big chunk of their income, a product designed by government bureaucrats, with an army of IRS agents snooping on each of us to make sure we did it.

And how are many liberals explaining why so many Americans are ticked off?

It's because our president is black. It's about racism.

I'm steamed. And even though I happen to be black – I've even spoken at some-tea party rallies – I still must be a racist.

Obama's approval rating has dropped from 70 percent when he was elected to 50 percent today. His disapproval has skyrocketed from 10 percent when he was elected to 42 percent today.

Per the Washington Post, in January 2009 58 percent of Americans said that the Obama presidency helped race relations. By January 2010, this was down to 40 percent.

Has this wave of disillusionment with Obama been driven by a sudden realization that the man Americans elected president is black?

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's approval has dropped from 41 percent in January 2009 to 36 percent today, and her disapproval has risen from 42 percent to 54 percent. Is she black?

Were the raucous town halls last summer – which fueled the growing tea-party movement – where irate constituents gave their representatives a piece of their mind about Obamacare racially motivated?

Care to understand what all this is really about?

What part of 'Party of No' don't you understand? ~ By Ann Coulter

In her column, Ann Coulter explains why it is a great idea for the Republicans to be the party of NO! It is what the American people actually want, despite what Barack Obama is trying to say about it.
If Republicans were smart, they'd shock the world by sending in one of their most appealing members of Congress, who can speak clearly on health care – Sen. Jon Kyl, Rep. Steve King or Rep. Ron Paul.

Actually, if the Republicans were really smart, they'd send in 14-year-old Jonathan Krohn, who understands the free market better than most people in Washington. Of course, so does my houseplant.

Inasmuch as Obamacare has a snowball's chance in hell of passing (but did you see how much snow they got in hell last week?), everyone is wondering what President Obama is up to by calling Republicans to a televised Reykjavik summit this week to discuss socializing health care.

At least they served beer at the last White House summit this stupid and pointless.

If the president is serious about passing nationalized health care, he ought to be meeting with the Democrats, not the Republicans.

Republicans can't stop the Democrats from socializing health care: They are a tiny minority party in both the House and the Senate. (Note to America: You might want to keep this in mind next time you go to the polls.)

As the Democratic base has been hysterically pointing out, both the House and the Senate have already passed national health care bills. Either body could vote for the other's bill, and – presto! – Obama would have a national health-care bill, replete with death panels, abortion coverage and lots and lots of new government commissions!

Sadly, as the president's chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, has noted, the Democratic base is "@#$%^ retarded."

The reason massive Democratic majorities in Congress aren't enough to pass socialist health care is AMERICANS DON'T WANT SOCIALIZED MEDICINE!

In fact, you might say that the nation is in a boiling cauldron of rage against it. Consequently, a lot of Democrats are suddenly having second thoughts about vast new government commissions regulating every aspect of Americans' medical care.

Obama isn't stupid – he's not seriously trying to get a health-care bill passed. The whole purpose of this public "summit" with the minority party is to muddy up the Republicans before the November elections. You know, the elections Democrats are going to lose because of this whole health-care thing.

Right now, Americans are hopping mad, swinging a stick and hoping to hit anyone who so much as thinks about nationalizing health care.

If they could, Americans would cut the power to the Capitol, throw everyone out and try to deport them. (Whereas I say: Anyone in Washington, D.C., who can produce an original copy of a valid U.S. birth certificate should be allowed to stay.)

But the Democrats think it's a good strategy to call the Republicans "The Party of No." When it comes to Obamacare, Americans don't want a party of "No," they want a party of "Hell, No!" or, as Rahm Emanuel might say, "*&^%$#@ No!"

Crisis of the Government Party ~ By Patrick Buchanan

Commentary from WorldNetDaily
"Obama's dilemma, evident in his State of the Union, is that the progressives, who were indispensable to his victories over Hillary, now feel betrayed, especially with apparent abandonment of health-insurance reform, while conservative Democrats and independents, who were indispensable in giving Obama his November [2008] victory, are angry and alienated and disposed to vote Republican to stop what they see as America's plunge into socialism."
Patrick Buchanan By Patrick Buchanan Posted: January 29, 2010 ~ 12:12 am Eastern © 2010 President Obama is in a dilemma from which there appears to be no easy or early escape. Democrats are the Party of Government. They feed it, and it feeds them. The larger government grows, the more agencies that are created, the more bureaucrats who are hired, the more people who become beneficiaries, the more deeply entrenched in power the Party of Government becomes. At the local, state and federal level, there are 19 million to 20 million government employees. And if one takes only Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, food stamps and earned income tax credits, we are talking about scores of millions who depend on government checks for the necessities of their daily life. These vast armies of voters – these tens of millions of government employees and scores of millions of government beneficiaries – are the big battalions of the Party of Government. They provide implacable resistance to any party that pledges to cut or curtail government. For they are fighting for their livelihood. And here is where Obama's dilemma arises. The progressives thought that with the takeover of both houses of Congress by veto-proof Democratic majorities, and the election of the most progressive of the candidates in the Democratic primaries save Dennis Kucinich, a new Progressive Era was at hand. Another New Deal, another Great Society. And early passage of a stimulus package of $787 billion, nearly 6 percent of the entire economy packed into a single bill, seemed to confirm that happy days were here again. But, at the same time, the federal takeover of AIG, General Motors and Chrysler and the bailouts of Fannie, Freddie and the Wall Street banks were igniting a Perot-style prairie fire that manifested itself in Tea Party rallies in the spring and town-hall protests in August. Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi denounced these folks as "evil-mongers" engaged in the "un-American" activity of shouting down Democrats – though, when college radicals do it to conservatives, it is called "heckling" and the conservatives are instructed that they "just do not understand the First Amendment." Came November, Republican victories in Virginia and New Jersey showed that the grass-roots rebellion was real and broad-based. This was confirmed by Scott Brown's astonishing upset in Massachusetts, where a state Obama won by 26 points went Republican by 6 points, with Brown capturing a Senate seat held by the Kennedy brothers since 1952. Talk about a fire bell in the night. READ FULL STORY >

A country worth fighting for! ~ By Craig R. Smith

From WorldNetDaily
Craig R. SmithBy Craig R. Smith Posted: September 14, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 The time has come for me to publicly thank Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and President Obama for doing something in America that hasn't been done since the Revolutionary War. These three amigos have fired up the American people – so much so that they are finally getting involved with their country and government. It took the most radically left Senate, Congress and White House to inspire Americans to make their voices heard in town halls, online chats and a march on Washington. According to a Daily Mail report, there may have been as many as 2 million people who took to the streets of the nation's capital to say, "no more." The people have had enough with wasteful deficit spending. They will not sit back and allow the monster of federal government to grow and consume every ounce of the labor and resources 300 million citizens produce. Their message was loud and clear: Enough is enough, and it has to stop now! [CLICK HERE TO READ MORE]

White House Battle Against Free Speech Grows

From The Heritage Foundation: The Foundry
Posted August 13th, 2009 at 4.51pm in Ongoing Priorities. Author: Rory Cooper Yesterday, White House Deputy Press Secretary Bill Burton said on Fox News: “This White House supports free speech.” Now, it is hardly comforting to know we have a White House that feels it has to defend that position. It’s akin to saying, ‘this White House supports oxygen,’ but the behavior of senior White House officials over the past few weeks has brought us to this point. A concerted and coordinated effort against cable news channels and their personalities; radio hosts and regular citizens from every walk of life has made Americans across the country fearful of a vengeful Obama administration. By now, it is common knowledge that the White House asked neighbors to report other neighbors who may disagree. They defended their White House “list” by saying that names wouldn’t be kept. Well, either they’re keeping a list or they’re destroying public records, but either way something wrong is occurring. America agreed. Then the White House introduced the term “Astro Turf” into our August lexicon by accusing soccer moms, senior citizens, students and regular concerned Americans of getting on buses and disrupting the left’s attempt to overhaul one sixth of our economy without opposition. Speaker Pelosi jumped in on this attack referencing swastikas, and Congressman Brian Baird (D-WA) calling protesters “brown shirts.” Townhalls are apparently supposed to be lovefests as demonstrated by the President’s pep rally yesterday in Portsmouth, NH. Well these attacks didn’t work either. Instead, townhalls grew more crowded and those folks were able to capture on video Members of Congress taking cell phone calls during questions, refusing to speak to their constituents and union intimidation. So now what? Well if you can’t silence the people, silence the news. The White House yesterday pivoted to blaming Fox News and cable networks for the problem of dissent. A straw man that they have successfully attacked in the past. [CLICK HERE TO READ MORE]

Town-hall clash! Arrest threat over Obama 'Joker' poster

From WorldNetDaily
Officer to protester: This ain't America no more Posted: August 28, 2009 ~ 10:57 pm Eastern By Drew Zahn © 2009 WorldNetDaily Editor's note: Earlier reports that Officer Wesley Cheeks Jr. is a police officer were in error. Further investigation has revealed Officer Cheeks is a member of the Fairfax County Public Schools' trained School Security Officer team. To contact the school's security force, e-mail Fred Ellis, the director of safety and security for Fairfax County Public Schools, or Jim McLain, the security coordinator. A depiction of the sign banned by Officer CheeksThis used to be America," argued a protester outside a health-care town hall meeting in Reston, Va., after a security officer threatened him with arrest for holding up a sign with a picture critical of Barack Obama. The officer's response? "It ain't no more, OK?" A video of the town hall held earlier this week by Rep. Jim Moran, D-Va., shows an unnamed protester standing on school grounds carrying a sign that read "Organizing for National Socialist Health Care – The Final Solution" and depicted Barack Obama in the Joker's makeup. Officer Wesley Cheeks Jr. then told the protester that even though others were holding signs, his sign was unacceptable because of the depiction of Obama. "But you got this with a picture," Cheeks said, explaining why the protester was being singled out from the others. "That's the difference. This has got a picture on it. That don't have a picture on it. "Sir, leave the picture down," the officer said. "If you put the picture back up, you'll be charged with trespassing." [CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE READING ENTIRE COLUMN]

Found: Cure for the liberal virus ~ By Pat Boone

From WorldNetDaily
Pat BooneBy Pat Boone Posted: August 29, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 It was at the Hutchinson Cancer Clinic in Seattle, several years ago I first saw live cancer cells under a microscope. It's forever seared into my memory. Dr. Fred Hutchinson, founder of the renowned clinic and research center, was showing me around. He asked me, "Have you ever actually seen cancer cells? Would you like to?" Of course I said I would, and he took me into a laboratory and produced a number of slides. I looked through the high-powered microscope – and gazed at the embodiment of evil. Little black, iridescent globs, almost radiant from within, pulsing with menace, looking like miniaturized Darth Vaders from Star Wars. "Doc, this is ghastly, frightening! What in the world can fight these things?" I asked. "These," he said. And he stuck another slide under the scope. I was now looking at what looked like a bunch of Little Orphan Annie eyes, perfectly round clear circles. I asked, "These little circles, they can fight those evil blisters?" "They can absolutely lick cancer totally; I'll show you," he said. And he then showed me a progression of slides, and I'll never forget what I saw. In stages, those little circles – lymphocytes or white blood cells – moved up to and around the black blisters, completely covered them, and smothered them out of existence. They created an environment in which the cancer cells couldn't function, and they just dissolved. In my mind, I saw a subtitle tickertape moving under the slides, right out of the Bible: "Be not overcome with evil. Overcome evil with good." Doctor Fred went on. "Every body contracts cancer cells from time to time, unknown to the person. Most of the time, a healthy blood stream will deliver those lymphocytes where they're needed, and in sufficient quantity, and the cancer cells are dissolved and expelled. We here, and around the world, are trying to find the way to send that army of white blood cells to the places where the cancer cells have established a foothold. When we accomplish that, we'll lick cancer." I then asked the obvious question. "Do we know how cancer starts, where the black filthy cells come from?" And, as I remember it, he said the medical research world feels there's some virus that infects otherwise healthy cells, and chemically distorts or corrupts their DNA. Those cells go on living in the organ, and reproducing – but now controlled by a different blueprint. They have become outlaws, renegades and as they grow they disrupt the functions of the organ, contaminate and ruin it; and they can eventually spread through the body, using the bloodstream, and cause death. There's something fearfully like that going on in our body politic. A deadly virus has been loosed throughout our system, and wherever it takes root, it changes the functions and the structure that gave us the grandest, strongest, freest system of government the world has ever known. I call it liberalism. [READ ENTIRE COLUMN!]

GOP's Bachmann zings heckler at health-care town hall

From WorldNetDaily
'I've given birth here probably more times than you, sir' Posted: August 29, 2009 ~ 12:25 am Eastern By Drew Zahn © 2009 WorldNetDaily Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN)Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., gave health-care town hall attendees in Lake Elmo, Minn., not only something to think about in her comments condemning President Obama's government health-care plan, but also something to smile over when she zinged a heckler with an impromptu remark that elicited uproarious laughter from the crowd. Bachmann had been arguing, "I would far prefer to have American medical care than I would health care in the U.K. any day of the week," a comment which brought cheers and applause from the approximately 400 who squeezed into a junior high school auditorium to hear her speak, with another roughly 400 watching via closed-circuit in the school's cafeteria. But when she held up a stack of papers she claimed were headline reports from U.K. newspapers carrying stories of poor health care under socialized medicine, an unidentified man attempted to interrupt. Bachmann was in the middle of highlighting a story about 4,000 U.K. women forced by a lack of hospital beds to give birth in hospital hallways, when the heckler became too loud to ignore. "That happens here!" the heckler shouted. "Not here," Bachmann attempted to argue. When the heckler insisted she was wrong, Bachmann responded with an impromptu zinger: "I've given birth here probably more times than you, sir," she said. The gathered crowd erupted in laughter. College kids recruited to join Obama's 'army'

From WorldNetDaily
Earn credit for pushing 'change,' working on president's 'agenda' Posted: August 25, 2009 ~ 9:03 pm Eastern By Chelsea Schilling © 2009 WorldNetDaily President Obama's army of citizen volunteers is now actively recruiting college students in states across the country to "build support for President Obama's agenda" – and earn college credit while advocating for "change." Obama for America, Obama's 2008 political campaign, merged with the Democratic National Committee in January and is now known as Organizing for America, or OFA. The movement some call "Obama 2.0" is now recruiting students and offering to provide credits toward degree plans in exchange for their advocacy skills. A message from OFA national volunteer coordinators announcing the recruitment campaign and internship opportunities has been posted on several websites and on Facebook. "Students and young people were critical in building the movement that helped elect President Obama last year. By becoming a National Organizing Intern, you'll be part of the grassroots effort to make the change we fought for a reality in 2009 and beyond," it states. "As an Organizing Intern, you'll work side by side with OFA staff and community leaders to help build support for President Obama's agenda. You'll learn core organizing principles that are crucial for any campaign and play an important role in building our organization in your state." The announcement continues, "President Obama describes his time as a community organizer by saying: 'It was the best education I ever had, because I learned in those neighborhoods that when ordinary people come together, they can achieve extraordinary things.' "This is your chance to get that same education. "If you're passionate about making sure every American has quality health care, reviving our economy, and building a clean energy future, don't miss this great opportunity. No previous experience is needed in order to apply." [READ ENTIRE STORY]

Our boorish, elitist overlords ~ By Phil Elmore

Phil ElmoreFrom WorldNetDaily.com By Phil Elmore Posted: August 20, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 The recent furor over President Obama's ill-conceived attempt to nationalize one-seventh to one-sixth of the United States' economy is a good example of an increasingly prevalent phenomenon in American politics. That phenomenon is technological hubris, an arrogance writ large in the faces, words and deeds of our would-be legislative masters. Our elected leaders, who are supposed to represent us and to work for us, who are supposed to answer to the taxpayers, have instead become technocrats. They have become boorish, elitist, arrogant and sneering bureaucratic overlords who believe they know better than do we about how we should be running our lives and spending our money. 'Mean things' ~ By Erik Rush

From WorldNetDaily.com By Erik Rush Posted: August 20, 2009 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 Last week was a big week for the health-care-insurance-coverage reform debate-dispute-skirmish-thing ... On Tuesday, Aug. 11, at a "town hall" meeting held by President Obama at which America's Affordable Health Choice Act of 2009 was discussed, a wee wisp of a lass reported to the president that she had seen signs outside prior to the gathering, saying "mean things" about health care reform. As it was later revealed, the girl's mother had been a coordinator for "Massachusetts Women for Obama" during the 2008 campaign. On the same day at a town hall meeting held in Texas, a former Texas Obama delegate and member of one of the president's political organizations falsely represented herself as a pediatric physician as she made an appeal for the current proposed health care reform legislation. Hey, Nancy: This anger is real! ~ By Henry Lamb

Henry LambBy Henry Lamb Posted: August 15, 2009 1:00 am Eastern © 2009 If Nancy Pelosi really believes that the anger displayed at town hall meetings is manufactured by "Astroturf" Republican groups, she is either stupid or totally disconnected from the real world. Democrats appear to be shocked by the intensity and the volume of the opposition they have encountered to the health care bill that awaits their return from August vacation. Of course, Obama knew there would be opposition; that's why he insisted that both the House and the Senate get a bill passed before the recess. Had both houses passed a bill, then all this opposition would not matter. The two bills could be reconciled in September, in secret, and passed into law without having to suffer the indignities of actually listening to the people. Voters really need to study the difference between the Democrats in campaigns and the Democrats in charge. During the campaign, the Democrats promised the most transparent, honest administration ever. Democrats in charge, however, demonstrate just the opposite. Obama promised that no bill would become law before it had been displayed on the Internet for five days, so people could register their opinions. What a laugh! The 1,000-page stimulus bill was passed just a few hours after it rolled off the press. No congressman could have read it. The people who are showing up at these town hall meetings are angry because the stimulus bill was shoved down their throats. They are angry because Speaker Nancy Pelosi forced the Waxman-Markey cap-and-trade bill through the House with a two-vote margin, with no attempt at honest debate or citizen input. They are angry because they now see the Democrat leadership trying to force what they perceive to be a government takeover of the nation's health care. Nancy Pelosi demonstrates her hypocrisy when she hurls the "un-American " bomb at health care opponents, but remains silent when the students at Columbia University shout down a speaker from the Minutemen, or says nothing about the organized shout down of Rep. Tancredo at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Nancy Pelosi demonstrates her ignorance of grass-roots organizations when she calls opposition to the Democrat agenda the work of "Astroturf" groups. Astroturf is the correct term when applied to groups that are paid to produce a group of protesters at an event (rent-a-riot). ACORN is the best current example of this type of Astroturf. Another example of Astroturf is the appearance of a non-existent group that is created by a public relations initiative. Obama's chief adviser, David Axelrod, specializes in this activity. Grass roots, on the other hand, are people who join real organizations to work collectively to advance an agenda or to block someone else's agenda. These are the people who showed up at the April 15 and July 4 tea parties all across the nation. These are the people who are clamoring to get into town hall meetings with their congressmen. By the time Congress reconvenes in September, most members will know the difference between grass roots and Astroturf. Nancy Pelosi and the upper-echelon of Democrat leadership can't be bothered to learn the difference by actually listening to the people. Americans who got caught up in the Obama miracle and rushed to vote in the first black president ignored the signs that suggested he might bring with him a socialist agenda. Now that his socialist agenda has been unmistakably exposed, some of Obama's supporters are becoming the questioners at town meetings. [READ COMPLETE COLUMN]

The Silencing of the Sheeple ~ By John Kubicek

By John Kubicek I came up with the idea for this writing when I saw the following segment on Fox & Friends:
We all know that eventually, as we age, we come down with the CRS (Can't Remember Stuff) disease, but I was able to remember when those that protested the War In Iraq complained about being called unpatriotic because they disagreed with the war effort, especially in Iraq. That was back in the days when people still remembered the horrors of 9/11, and of course, anyone that complained about the course of action was just so unpatriotic. They were un-American. They were demonized. And the war protesters made a valid point that it was their right to speak out - even if they were part of the Code Pink minions. But, isn't it weird that those same people, those who claimed their rights to speak up were being taken away, seem to be the same people that are now calling the Town Hall dissenters "mobs," and Tea Party participants "teabaggers?" The same mainstream media that criticized the Bush administration for calling those that dissented against the War on Terror as being unpatriotic, are now calling people that voice their dissent on health care reform (known as ObamaCare), "un-American."[READ COMPLETE COLUMN]

Health Care Town Hall Turns Violent in Tampa

FOXNews.com Friday, August 07, 2009 A town hall meeting to discuss President Obama's health care reform descended into shouting and violence in a Tampa, Fla., suburb Thursday as angry opponents clashed with event organizers. Close to 1,500 people came to Ybor City to attend the town hall-style meeting on health care and insurance reform featuring Democratic State Rep. Bette Reed and U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor before the event exploded into a near riot. According to local media reports, the larger-than-expected crowd gathered outside the Hillsborough County Children's Board building where several hundred people, mostly in opposition to government health care, began to loudly chant and scuffle with organizers posted at doorways after the auditorium filled to capacity. A freelance videographer was roughed up in an altercation, which damaged his camera equipment and glasses, and at least one man was treated for minor injuries after a scuffle left his shirt partially torn from his body. "That's the most violent anyone has been towards me," Mark Bishop told WTSP-TV. "It was surprising to say the least." The Socialist-in-chief says ''Don't mess up my plans to destroy this country... or else!''Video shot outside the auditorium showed several people holding signs and posters while banging on doors and windows, while others argued face-to-face and were seen screaming at one another in the parking lot as police looked on. Inside, democratic lawmakers had a difficult time delivering their opening remarks as they were met with shouts of "You work for us!'' "Tyranny! tyranny! tyranny!'' and "Read the bill!" the Tampa Tribune reported. As tensions rose further, Rep. Castor was escorted out of the town hall by police after Reed encouraged her to leave.
