Just a question for you today.  When you voted, if you voted, did you vote for a Communist? 

Why would I ask that?  Because Dan Bongino asked that?  No, because before the election, I asked people that were planning to vote if they would be willing to vote for a total Marxist.  They would ask me who I was talking about.  I mentioned Kamala Harris, and brought up various patterns of her voting, which was the furthest to the left of anybody in the U. S. Senate.  Yes, but, she's only in the VP part of the ticket.  Well, sure, but honestly, do you think that Joe Biden is going to be capable of doing the job as President for four years?  Would if he only lasts four months?

Watch this episode if you haven't seen or heard it yet.  He has an excellent segment on not letting Fake News Media gaslight you on whether or not your vote will make any difference.  Don't ever let them fool you.  One of the highlights of yesterday's election was how close a lot of the races were, and still are!  It ain't over until it's over.  They told us that it would be a close one.  I'm keeping my faith, but after last night, I wasn't sure what I would wake up to in the morning.  I am still holding on to hope. And praying.  It would not be good if a Marxist like Harris were to assume the role of President of the United States.

The Media Has Abandoned the Country, Again ~ Ep. 1198 ~ The Dan Bongino Show®

Okay, here's the thing. One lowly little deplorable (blogger) waif like me is worth a hundred (or ten thousand) "journalists" in the mainstream media, according to Dan. Well, you'll get the meaning of that in the first few minutes of the video, starting here.

Oh, my gosh, for those "journalists" that are supposed to be so smart, compared to us rubes, not to be able to do simple 7th grade math (giving them the benefit of the doubt as to the grade level), is pitiful. We're the dopey ones? Come on, really? It is so shameful, on so many levels.  But, wait. It gets better. Wait until you see how the New York Times disgustingly tries to ignore the truth that could have been found in 30 seconds, if they looked. That you need to see, which is toward the end of this episode.

There is a segment that I really want you to pay very close attention to. First, Dan explains why it is so important for people to get out and vote in the upcoming Florida primary. The only vote will be on the Presidential races. Dan points out how that will really get under the Demonicrats' skin if President Trump supporters show up in droves, even close to the Demonicrat numbers in a contested primary between Sanders and Biden.

And then Dan discusses the other part about it being 50/50 between Trump and the Demonicrat nominee, Biden or Bernie.  Even though he believes that President Trump WILL win a second term, that should not be taken as a prediction, or for granted, and we all can't ever give up fighting for it.

Here's the major take away from this episode, I believe: Do not ever assume that the President will win. We have to actually go vote in November!  There is an adverse reality that we must face if we don't: A goofy old guy with dementia, or a goofy old guy who's an out and out Marxist, in the White House. Ummm, yeah, you get that, copy that?  Plus, keep in mind the major meltdown the loser liberals will have next November, if we can pull off a major landslide, not just for the President, but down ballot Republicans and retaking the House... and firing Nancy! That would "nuke their bagels" for sure!

Democratic establishment rallies around Joe Biden even as the former vice president's gaffes raise electability concerns.

What do the endorsements for Joe Biden from Beto, Amy Kloubachar, and Mayor Pete really mean? Is it to unify the party? Or, is there another nefarious reason, such as getting cabinet positions down the road?

And exactly why are Demonicrats so forgiving of the Biden gaffes? Are they just going to endure a giant faceplant at some point, while disregarding not only the gaffes, but the corruption with Biden's son in Ukraine? Like Greg mentions, perhaps they'll just wheel Joe into the Demonicrat convention on a gurney, to get him across the finish line, and then have the radical left running things?

Which reminds me, I've been wondering just who the Demonicrats will pick as Joe's running mate this Fall. I have a suspicion that potential VP candidate will be far on out in the fringe Left, and should be the ultimate red flag. Although, I am guessing that Bernie will be the Demonicrat nominee for President, and in that case, who he chooses as a running mate will also change the course of the election.

Hopefully, all of the above should be what influences the Trump supporters to not be complacent. We can not allow the radical left to get anywhere near the White House, not to mention the House and Senate. We learned that lesson in 2018!!

(By the way, when lefty Juan Williams puts in his .02 cents, just put in the ear plugs. Nothing to hear here. Just sayin'...

WIFLI Briefing for Sep 2, 2012 ~ I'm not afraid! Chuck Norris is on my side!

First, a side note that must be mentioned: A long, long time ago, I shared a column by Robert Stacy McCain, called "How to Get a Million Hits on Your Blog in Less Than a Year," and to this day, it haunts me that I haven't been able to break out of the box. I thought that I had it figured out, but I still found it difficult to succeed in blogging to the point where the numbers of viewers of my blogs are in the millions.

Well, shame on me, for not coming up with Rule #6 of blogging success a little sooner: Quantity and quality of posts on a blog count a whole bunch! I need to work on executing that strategy better.

But, excuse me, because there's another Rule of blogging success that needs to be mentioned. In studying Stacy McCain's Rule #5, I found that there is a critical modification that could be appended: Mention Chuck Norris or Glenn Beck, or both, in one blog post if possible, and it will bring on the viewers.

This is one of my blog posts, now known as the WIFLI Chronicles, that will test that "strategery." While I make sure that you know about the video made by Chuck and Gena Norris, a very recent event, I also needed to go back in history to support the Norris' announcement with a segment from Glenn Beck's Fox News days, way back in 2009. A coincidence? Absolutely not!

What you will see Glenn Beck discussing in a video below, from a long, long time ago -2009 - is what I've known about and tried to tell you in this blog for all these years. And because this blog - Time 2 Escape - didn't get those millions of views I was hoping for, at least now, there is some hope. I now know that I'm not alone. No longer do I have to worry about having enemies because of what I've told you, especially in last month's posts. I've learned that I have Chuck and Gena Norris on my side! There's no reason for me to be afraid! I'm just sayin'...

WIFLI Briefing for Aug 30, 2012 - The story I was almost afraid to tell

Glenn Beck was saying on his radio show yesterday (Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012) that we don't need to be talking about all the negative things about Barack Obama, because we already know what and who he is. Instead, we should talk about the positive vision of the GOP and how it will bring about the survival and revival of this great country and bring about prosperity.

I do agree with Glenn to a point, especially when it concerns the candidates in particular. I want to see the GOP candidates sway away from the negative attacks, and concentrating on the positive message of what America can become with the right (as in "Right") people in office. However, for the New Media, it may need to be a different story.

There is no doubt in my mind that the positive message of what the Republican candidates Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan have to offer must be told, and that we will do. However, if there is anything that President Obama and his administration are doing that will replace our freedom with Marxist tyranny, that information must also be told - by somebody!

You obviously know that when it comes to reporting on anything negative about the President, you won't hear it on the mainstream media, and sometimes, not even on Fox News. So, where are you going to find the information about Obama that just might be a slight bit disturbing to those of us that love America and prefer freedom?

There is a very large contrast - a chasm - between what the Democrats and Republicans stand for.  There is no doubt that in this election, it is extremely important to make sure that people are aware of the differences between the candidates.  Really, would all the positive things in the world that could be told about the GOP candidates Romney and Ryan make a difference in the election, if there is no awareness of what the alternative is?

Seriously, where would we be right now if not for the patriots amongst us having the courage to confront the terrifying agenda that the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave has in mind for this country?  Dinesh D'Souza just happens to be one of those brave souls that does so:

So, can anything be added to what Dinesh D'Souza has to say? How about something that is so terrifying, that to ignore the reality would be to seal our ultimate doom? All of the mainstream media will ignore this story. We know how people were treated that have doubted the eligibility of Obama, being labeled as "birthers."

However, the following story and video tells a truth about what may be the making of a tyrant, somebody that will do whatever it takes to stay in power. It may be an ugly truth that many of us will disregard, and mostly because the detractors will do their best to disparage the info warriors in order to discredit the story.

It's a piece of the puzzle that must be included, and there is no doubt that I was almost afraid to include the story that I want to share with you today. However, I'm just not in the mood to wimp out on bringing you this information. It is going to take the demise of this country and our freedom in order for a true globalist plot to succeed, and I'm wondering if President Obama is desperate enough to go this far. Time 2 Escape WIFLI for Friday, Jan 13, 2012

Today's post of my new WIFLI (An acronym for "When I Feel Like It" and pronounced like "Why-Fly") series is aimed toward some certain people: 1) People that don't like the truth to be told (Yes, you, Cass Sunstein!) and claim that the government must control speech; 2) People that think that it is wrong for Timmy Tebow to express his Christian beliefs; 3) People that are so enamored with Barack Obama that they see him as a world leader; AKA Messiah 4) People that fit in the ALL OF THE ABOVE category.

You see, I'm not going to allow the far left of the progressive Democrats to deny that their main goal is to silence people that want to tell you that the love of Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior will do us much more good than depending on the government, much less, a global dictatorship. I'm not going to stay silent.

Could you imagine a world where people with an opinion are not allowed to say what they believe? Is that not what Cass Sunstein desires? And what about the uproar about the success of an NFL quarterback, a new star, that gives all the glory to Jesus Christ? Out loud, with a large TV audience watching?  Those currently in power really do not want that to be happening. But it is. They can't seem to stop it, other than their usual discrediting effort.

I invite you to tell me how I'm wrong, but I'm confident that you won't be able to. Obama's crowd has the motivation, and now they are cluelessly thinking that you and I shouldn't be allowed to talk about it and thus, actually think about it. It's not time for Big Brother, is it? Just fly like an eagle, and keep FREEDOM as your top priority.  I'm just sayin'....

Reuters reported earlier this week that the “symbolic Doomsday Clock calculated by a group of scientists was moved a minute closer to midnight on Tuesday, with the group citing inadequate progress on nuclear weapons reduction and climate change.” This announcement raises questions because leftists still control much of the free world, including the most important of Western political positions. That position is president of the United States.

Remember when Barack Hussein Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize (before he had a chance actually to do anything to earn it)? This act has much in common with the proclamations of those moving the hands of the Doomsday Clock. Both the prize and the clock are political symbols. As liberals grow increasingly shrill in their hatred and frustration over conservative attempts to thwart their power plays, America's leftists will resort to violence more frequently and in greater numbers. The rancor over the recent debt-ceiling debate will become a fond memory. Obama and his minions, not to mention a complicit media, were quick to tell us that we may never disagree with liberals – for if we do, America will be punished by foreign bankers. As the rhetoric grows hotter, the fists will fly faster. Blaming the "terrorists" in the tea party for Obama's failures of leadership will seem tame by comparison.

The mob is coming. Be ready.

It's chilling. As I mentioned from the beginning of this 8-12-11 series, there is a common theme. If you haven't figured it out yet, you will soon. So let's start with this:

The classic quote from a rioter on the street in London was this: "We hear people were getting stuff free, so why not us?"

You will notice that tea-party activists don't have a sense of entitlement. They don't ask for free stuff. They don't demand handouts. They don't ask that government take care of them. They just ask that government follow the rule of law and act responsibly.

The rioters in the streets of London and Philadelphia most certainly do have a sense of entitlement. They believe they have the right to rob and beat other people and take what they want. They believe in burning and terrorizing and attacking police and civilians.

Oh, well, shucks... You're getting the point, right? Are you ready for what we will be facing very soon? You won't bother to "get ready" if you are neither aware or believe that it can happen. But look, it's going on in London, in Europe, and even here.

Those on the left love to talk about the "Tea Party rage." There's really no way to be any more disingenuous than that. The left is using that phrase, "Tea Party Rage," knowing that the tea party's "rage" has nothing to do with violence. It hasn't ever happened. No tea party has ever broke out into violence. Looting and pillaging is not part of the Tea Party Movement. Really, get serious!

However, Phil Elmore gives us a stern warning in his column. It is one thing to endure harsh and inaccurate rhetoric against the tea party. We must be prepared, because suppose for a minute that the leftist minions (union thugs and people living on entitlements) decided that only violence would get the attention of the media and politicians so that they could get their "free stuff"? Or, could it even be a ploy to intimidate and get the attention of those who would peacefully protest against the largess of government?

If you read all three of the columns that I referenced yesterday and today, you will hopefully get the point. The MOB that Nancy Pelosi accused the Tea Party of being, and the MOB that the leftists are organizing and putting into play, are two different things.

Joseph Farah sums it up perfectly when he wrote, "When you demonize the hard-working, productive middle class who organize peacefully and call for reforms, you are inviting the shiftless, unproductive class to take the opposite approach."

The Second Amendment in the Bill of Rights is the force multiplier, as Phil says. It exemplifies "Peace through strength," because deterrence of violence is our priority. I'm just sayin'....

Obama hates guns.

This is a fact. Like every lib, like every socialist would-be dictator, like every arrogant statist who views his fellow human beings' freedom of action as a threat (rather than a benefit that accrues to all the citizenry), Obama cannot stand the idea that you, armed, might be able to stand up to leftist bullying.

You see, that is what a firearm is. Before guns are "liberty teeth," before they are a tool for resisting oppression, before they are the linchpin of a free society that defends and protects the other natural rights protected by the Bill of Rights, they are a personal means of standing up for yourself. A gun, like a lever or a hammer, is a force multiplier. Firearms are a labor-magnifying technology that enables the user to apply more force to more people than that user could apply with his bare hands. That's it. That's all guns do. They possess neither volition nor morality. By themselves, they are complicated paperweights.

The fear and loathing liberals heap on firearms is largely ignorance, projection of their own weakness and irrational fear ... but deep down, it is also a recognition of the gun's utility as a force multiplier. If you're a lib desperate to control every waking moment of his fellow human beings' lives, you absolutely cannot abide the idea of force multiplication. This is because liberals adore violence. Specifically, they adore mob violence. An ideology that subordinates the individual to the collective and the citizen to the state of necessity lauds the power of the mob. Liberals are, after all, only courageous in groups. They are happy to bully any man or woman whom they outnumber and can overpower, but will scream victimization if aggressively opposed by prepared, right-thinking citizens.

Examples of liberal thuggery and hate abound and are as close as the nearest political protest. Our left-leaning media delight in furthering the mythology that conservatives, tea-party members and other libertarians are violent and threatening toward peaceful leftist activists, when of course the exact opposite is true and has been demonstrated time and again. Consider, for example, the beating of conservative Kenneth Gladney.

Would that the Republicans had thrown a temper tantrum (as Democrats and the left-wing media accused them of doing) and gotten their way. If so, we'd be looking at a very panicked Barack Obama today rather than the same cool community organizer who is focused on raising a billion dollars to aid him in anesthetizing the public once again and winning what should be, based on the results of his presidency, an unwinnable election for him.

Maybe the tea-party people do need to get violent, given that the left will continue to accuse them of doing so regardless of how civil they act. Even if they throw out of office enough RINOs who still don't get the tea-party message and bring in a whole new group of Republicans who are willing to take a chainsaw to the budget (rather than just getting excited about "changing the terms of the debate" in Washington), the violence that Messrs. Bashir and Peele so worry about is sure to happen anyway.

However, violence that results from real (as opposed to imaginary) spending cuts won't come from the tea-party folks. It will come from those who are unwilling to give up the good life they've become so accustomed to as a result of the government's redistribution-of-wealth policies.

But let's see the spending cuts first. We can worry about the violence later.

I've been having a productivity decline this summer. There have been so many columns that I wanted to bring to your attention, but just haven't had the time to get them all in. I've been spending a large portion of time digesting and discussing a small number of columns. So, today, I'm dividing my blog post for the day into three parts. This will be the first of the three that I chose to discuss. There was a common theme that I found in several articles on WND.com.

I've been wanting to do something different in this venue for quite awhile. Today, I saw an opportunity which came from three great columns that were published on August 10, 2011. A column written and published on August 9, 2011 by the founder, editor and CEO of WND, Joseph Farah, set the stage. This is going to be fun doing these three columns, and I think you are going to like these posts! It's going to be fresh, and it will be easy to understand what the theme is and why it is so very important to be aware of. It's going to be an "AMEN!" moment for you when you read these three posts and the corresponding columns!

So, let's get started. We'll begin by stating just who is actually delusional in order to answer Robert's question posed in the title to his column:

People who characterize the tea-party movement as terrorists are clearly incapable of rationally processing information.

They don't know right from wrong.

They have no appreciation for American history and constitutional guarantees for freedom of speech and petitioning for redress of grievances.

I just wonder if the rules are changing on us, gang. You're probably going to need an appointment with a chiropractor soon, folks, because I warn you, it's possible that you may suffer from a neck injury caused by the whiplash you'll receive when reading this.

First of all, do you know why some of those on the left, specifically the ones that Robert mentions in this column, are so delusional? It is so obvious, but yet, they actually do not believe that you are aware that the much of the violence is coming from the left, and the racist subgroups that fall on that side of the political spectrum. That's right. The problem with violence is NOT coming from tea party groups. Not even a spec of evidence exists that would suggest that it is tea partiers whom resort to violence. So, for leftists to make that assertion, it's truly delusional!

But, a thought that crossed my mind: Is it any less delusional for those of us in the tea party and on the Conservative side to believe that at some point, society's decay will not require us to defend ourselves? I'm just sayin'....

Just who, exactly, is delusional?

Isn't it remarkable how the left is railing on and on about how the tea-party members of Congress held the debt-ceiling talks hostage by demanding that there be no tax hikes? They've even referred to them as terrorists and suicide bombers, malcontents who ignored the heartfelt pleas of that paragon of unity, Barack Obama, to tone down the rhetoric after the Tucson shootings.

But something doesn't quite ring true here. If the tea-party contingency sabotaged the debt-ceiling talks, why would a majority of Republicans be so mad at them?

Democratic feigned anger aside, the truth is that what the Republicans actually accomplished was to 1) raise the debt ceiling enough to take the pressure off Obama until after the 2012 elections, 2) fail to make certain that there will be no tax hikes in the near future (trust me, there will be), and 3) rather than cut spending, merely slow the growth of spending (as Republicans have been doing for decades) from an Obama baseline that would have been unheard of even in the George W. Bush years.

Nevertheless, along comes a real radical, CNBC's Martin Bashir, and conducts an anti-tea-party interview with a left-wing shrink by the name of Stanton Peele. Peele told Bashir (with the utmost objectivity, of course) that tea-party conservatives are "delusional," "could become a very angry movement" and "could potentially become a violent movement."

Really? Funny, but in all the tea-party events I've been to, I haven't seen anyone who looks like he has the "potential" to become violent. On the other hand, I've seen a lot of union thugs who are violent, but, for some reason, neither Bashir nor Peele mentioned any of those guys. Hmm, that's weird … I wonder why? Must have just slipped their minds.

At one point, Bashir asked Peele: "So you're saying that they [the tea-party people] are delusional about the past and adamant about the future?" To which Peele responded, with an air of professional pomposity, "They are adamant about achieving something that's unachievable, which reminds us of a couple of things: It reminds us of delusion and psychosis. It reminds us of addiction because addicts are seeking something that they can't have."

Something they can't have? Hmm … and here I thought the tea-party candidates won the mid-term elections in a landslide, so gaining control of the House and increasing the number of Republicans in the Senate turned out to be something they could have.

Could it be that Martin Bashir, Dr. Peele and angry Democrats are the ones who are delusional? Do they not understand that history has repeatedly shown that radicalism and violence are overwhelmingly traits of the far (and sometimes not so far) left?

Capitalism: The purest form of freedom ~ By Robert Ringer

There's an irony in the fact that Marx and Engels believed capitalism was necessary in order to create more wealth disparity. The irony I'm referring to is that capitalism also creates more wealth for those on the lowest rung of the income ladder than any other system, so income and wealth disparities, while interesting phenomena for academic eggheads to ponder, are irrelevant. The only thing that's relevant is how well off each individual is in absolute terms – not in comparison to others.

The bottom line is that without capitalism, there is no such thing as prosperity for the masses. Capitalism is freedom in its purest form. Thus, without freedom, capitalism, by definition, cannot exist, because it is nothing more than a subcategory of freedom – the freedom to trade one's goods and services with others without interference from government.

If you agree with most of what I've said in this article, you should make it a point to vote only for those office seekers whom you are convinced truly understand that the main threat we face is our loss of freedom. My pessimistic vision of the future would change substantially if pro-freedom types were able to win the presidency and overwhelming majorities in both houses of Congress in 2012. The optimistic side of me hopes it will happen, but my realistic side keeps reminding me that history has not been kind to those who put their trust in politicians.

Spread the word, avoid distractions, and keep it simple: We are losing our freedom!

I'll be right up front with you today. This blog entry was close to being scrubbed. I almost didn't post this. Why?

I probably could easily say that I've had ego issues. There are times when I felt that my posts deserved more recognition than they received. Okay, ego... Apparently not possible, because I am writing this despite that issue.

Or could it be that I didn't want to trouble myself any longer with writing about politics, and troubling folks with motivation to read it? And there is nothing that troubles me more than self-promotion. Bingo...

Really? No. Here is another plausible reason: Is it too late? For what I read in Robert's column, and then in the related stories linked below, it seems to be a valid question. As far down the road to serfdom that we have gone, I'm not sure there is a way to turn people around before that proverbial edge of the cliff is reached. Honestly, I've had to consider the possibility that the cliff was already reached by the masses.

I would really hate to blame Robert Ringer for giving me any reason to give up hope, and just quit writing. Or just quit trying. It's just that the situation we are faced with seems to be getting more and more bleak. It wouldn't be all that hard to say that freedom is doomed. Well, it would be, if we all just gave up. But some of us won't:

Really?  Yes, for sure.  Capitalism is under attack, and that is just one of the offensives the enemy has taken on to eradicate Freedom.  I'm just sayin'...

Capitalism: The purest form of freedom

Americans are easy prey when it comes to political distraction debates. The NLRB's outrageous attempt to block Boeing from opening a new plant in South Carolina is a distraction. Proposed card-check legislation is a distraction. Our obsessive meddling in Middle Eastern countries is a distraction.

All these are important issues, but they are merely subcategories of the foundational issue that Americans should be focused on: loss of freedom. In a truly free society, none of these issues would even arise, because they are outside the scope of human freedom.

Unfortunately, instead of freedom, we are being cleverly engineered into social-justice automatons by left-wing zealots who run Atlas Shrug-like bureaucracies such as the Environmental Protection Agency, the National Labor Relations Board and the Department of Education, to name but a few of our worst enemies from within.

The antithesis of freedom is communism. Karl Marx and his lackey benefactor, Friedrich Engels, firmly believed that violent revolution was the only way to bring about pure communism, and that such a revolution was possible only where capitalism existed. Capitalism, they insisted, was a necessary ingredient for creating a wide financial disparity between workers and the privileged class.

I'm still baffled as to why Marx and Engels would want to increase the income disparity between the classes, only to rectify the disparity through violent revolution. Sounds like angry, left-wing mischievousness to me. Perhaps it was based on their knowledge of the utter failure of the French Revolution, which had led only to mob violence, unthinkable human carnage and, ultimately, a Napoleonic dictatorship.

But the fact is that there has never been a communist revolutionary threat in capitalistic societies such as Japan, Taiwan or (pre-China) Hong Kong. The most notable communist revolutions have occurred in Russia, China, Vietnam and Cuba, none of which could have been considered capitalist countries at the time. Thus, Marx and Engels would have considered the United States to be a perfect crucible for testing their convoluted class-warfare theories.

Of course, only naïve dreamers believe in the communist fairly tale that under communism, the state will eventually "wither away" because there will be so much of everything for everybody that government will no longer be necessary. But I do believe that Marx and Engels were on to something with their belief that socialism would precede communism. In fact, they referred to socialism as a "transitional stage of society" between capitalism and communism.

Nevertheless, here in the U.S. we have long suffered from the delusion that "European-style socialism" is a nice, peaceful, cradle-to-grave compromise between capitalism and communism. Elitists on both the right and the left have come to believe that European society is static, and that so long as European countries keep their redistribution-of-wealth policies finely tuned, capitalists will go right on producing enough to support the parasitic masses.

What they have not taken into account, however, is a crucial factor known as human nature. Homo sapiens – particularly its progressive subspecies – is, by nature, an avaricious creature. Worse, the more goods and services he acquires without work, the more avaricious he becomes. In fact, the human appetite for wealth without work is insatiable.

URGENT UPDATE! (28 JUN 11):  Before you begin your journey through this post, there is something else that you should read first. I wrote a column back on July 26, 2009, and all I said then will be consistent with what I will tell you now.  Please read this first:  Don't Give Up

The belief that the rights of the community outweigh the rights of the individual is the bedrock principle of communism. The belief that government has the inherent right to dictate the behavior of its citizens is another bedrock principle of communism. The belief that government should manage the economic affairs of its citizens is directly out of the Communist Manifesto. The more the Communist Manifesto is read and understood, the more clearly one sees the transformation that has been imposed upon a formerly free people.

The transformation began long before Barack Hussein Obama. He, unfortunately, seeks to drive the final nail into the coffin of freedom. Obama and the so-called progressives he leads are working diligently to expand government power and diminish the rights of the individual, to destroy the last vestige of a free market and to denigrate and discredit all who disagree with their communist philosophy.

Nowhere has this philosophy been delivered through local governments more effectively than through the idea of "sustainable development," defined in Agenda 21. Sustainable development means "government-approved." Every time the word "sustainable," appears, replace it with the term "government-approved." Think about it: "government-approved" development; "government-approved" agriculture; "government-approved" communities. Sounds a lot like communism, doesn't it?

This is what happened to freedom.

Hi, it's me, John Kubicek, otherwise known as johnny2k. There are a few things that we need to discuss regarding this article by Henry Lamb. It's a great column, which you will find out for yourself when you read it. What Henry writes, though, made me wonder about a few things. One of the first things that came to my mind when reading this column was to ask how we have allowed this to happen.

So, why did you so willingly give up on your freedom? .... What? You say there is no way that you would ever give up your freedom? Well, then why did you go along with socialism, if not outright communism, so willingly? ... No? Well, okay, but you are aware that when the government begins taking away our choices through the free-market system, it is one of the basic principles of establishing communism, right?

Sure, you'd never be for something like that! Then why is it okay when many government entities, at every level, began telling you where you could - or actually, can not - light up a cigarette? I know, I know, that darn second-hand smoke. You don't smoke, and you don't want to smell second-hand or third-hand (that is one of the new health buzz-words) smoke. I don't blame you! Yuck! Not to mention, people were walking into their privately-owned business establishments of choice, where even non-smoking areas were already voluntarily set up, and they just plain dropped dead on the spot when they got a whiff of cigarette smoke.

Well....no, that didn't happen. But, suddenly, somebody in the government said that second-hand smoke could kill us all, and poof! The rights of the business owners - you know, those that have their own private property - were eliminated. They were no longer able to compete for the market share of people that actually still smoke cigarettes... Oh, right, all of their customer base is now dead! I forgot!

But, shoot, you were okay with that, weren't you? You didn't seem to mind when people that think they know better than we do, and that are just looking out for our safety, could regulate and outlaw certain behavior for our benefit, and destroy somebody's business and income. Hey, they make so much more money than their employees! They're evil! That's right! And, just like the government agency, the TSA, is looking out for your welfare by making a 95 year old lady with cancer remove her diaper if she wanted to fly! Sure, it is for our safety AND security!

Okay, I understand it now. YOU weren't one of those people that would fall for the government's attempts to gradually push America toward communism - let alone, socialism - and losing our freedom. It's my guess that you wouldn't be reading my blogs if you were. Okay, I feel better now..... Umm, no, I'm not quite yet feeling reassured. And I'll tell you why.

It is because I am just as guilty, if not even more so than you. People beat each other up just to be in the gallery at the Casey Anthony trial, but have you ever seen that happen while attempting to attend a school board meeting or hearings on various city ordinances? Well, you probably haven't, and it is because of one of two reasons: 1) You didn't go, or 2) not a lot of people were participating and fighting for a spot in the audience. And I have been one of the guilty ones that didn't attend those kinds of activities... Wasn't my cup of tea, had kids to ruin, work kept me so busy, and I needed to watch all the latest movies and my favorite athletic teams win the championship....

Let's face it, Marxism and Progressivism have been around for a long time. However, it probably wasn't until around 1970 when their foothold became apparent in society, and our minor annoyances with liberalism began. It was around that time that education and media became controlled by the Left. We've had forty years to take some action, but we didn't for the reasons that I explained above. This isn't about Barack Obama, who, as Henry wrote, "unfortunately, seeks to drive the final nail into the coffin of freedom."

Thank God for the Tea Party Movement, those rebellious citizens that are raising their voices, yelling, and telling the government that it has finally gone too far. We can only pray that it isn't too late, that many of us have woken up in time to get to work to stop the "progress."

Like I said, it is probably all of you that are reading this column that are already awake. Now, I ask, what are you going to do to wake up all those around you to tell them about communism and the threat to our freedom? Will you do that? Are you up to the task? Of course you are! Do you understand the ramifications of what will happen if we don't fight tooth and nail to keep freedom alive for our children and grandchildren? Of course you do!

Now, it is time for you to read Henry's column. Watch how he lists the gradual losses of our freedom to make our own choices. Hey, these are just honest observations and the ability to bluntly stun the heck out of those that haven't been paying attention. It sure beats throwing a bucket of cold water on you to wake you up. I'm just sayin'...

A formerly free people

When Constitutional scholar Barack Hussein Obama and the assortment legal advisers that surrounds him decided that the Commerce Clause authorized the federal government to force private citizens to purchase a product, freedom vanished from America.

With this newly declared authority, the federal government can force its citizens to do anything the government wishes. This omnipotent power is the same power exercised by the governments of Hitler, Stalin and all other despots who have denied freedom to their citizens.

What happened to freedom? It was erased, little by little, until we no longer have a choice among the types of light bulbs we buy. Government has dictated that its citizens can no longer buy a 40-cent incandescent light bulb; after Jan. 1, formerly free people living in a formerly free-market system will be forced by government to buy a $4 light bulb, probably made in China.

People in King County, Wash., are no longer free to use their private property as they wish; government has dictated that its residents must leave 65 percent of their property in its natural condition. People in Orem, Utah, are no longer free to water, or not water, their lawn. Betty Perry's lawn was not as green as the government thought it should be, so an enforcement officer "…dragged her sorry a-- off to a holding pen," according to press reports at the time. In Collier County, Fla., people who live in designated areas south of State Road 80 are not allowed to develop their land. People who live in designated areas north of the highway are free to develop their land. Collier County is truly the land of the free – if you happen to own land in a government-designated area north of State Road 80.

Government says you must not smoke in public places or in many private businesses, and in some locations, not even in your own home. Government says you must wear a helmet if you ride a motorcycle. Government says you must wear seat belts in your automobile. Government says your child must be in an approved car seat if your car is moving on a public highway. These are a few examples of government-mandated behavior. If you deposit $5,000 or more in cash, the government requires the bank to report it. Finally, you, or anyone, can be detained by law enforcement officers – without a warrant – upon the simple declaration that you are suspected of affiliation with terrorist activity. Is this a government-controlled society or what?

Communism's rebirth – at our expense ~ By Barry Farber

Why, now, is Communism "OK"? One myth that flickered underneath all the horrid history about Communism was that, even though the Communist system allowed no opportunity, it likewise gave you free or very low rent. Medicine was free. Education was free. Get it? No bankruptcies. No foreclosures. No debt. When you tell an American how much was "free," he assumes it was at or near his accustomed level. If you find the "entitlements" of Communism seductive, I want to reach through your monitor and grab you by the collar and shake you. The "expense-free" Communist subject had a miserable quality of life.

But, now that the atrocities of Communism are fading from the American memory, the promises of Communism sound rather interesting in a bad American economy. All I'm promising is that Communism is the world's biggest consumer fraud.

A Communist is someone who cannot see a fat man standing beside a thin man without concluding the fat man got that way at the expense of the thin man.

If Americans ever quit hating Communism, we'll quit hating the "give-aways" first.

Barry Farber does a great job to explain what Communism should be held accountable for in the 20th Century. And, he reminds us what can happen when people forget. Honestly, I have to wonder what could possibly have shoved all of the bad memories of what Communist nations did to their people down the memory hole. The media? Educators? Government propaganda? Hope and change?

I challenge anyone to show me where Communism has ever worked. In fact, show me where any Communist country has ever gone without committing genocide in order to gain and keep power!

Thank you, Barry Farber, for writing this column! It is about time that somebody plugged the memory hole, and pulled some of the grim memories, that never should be forgotten, out of that abyss. And thank you again for reminding us that liberals are leading us to that memory hole by helping us to quit hating entitlements and class envy first.

And guess what? While we still have the freedom to write about it, now is the time to work on keeping too many people from falling into the bottomless memory hole. It could be our last chance. But, hey, I understand if you want to stay silent. We all know who's doors would be knocked down first should we be on the losing side. I'm just sayin'...

Communism's rebirth – at our expense

The cartoon showed two 6-year-old boys sitting on a fence admiring a 5-year-old girl, nose in the air, perky and cute as a speckled puppy under a red wagon. "If I ever quit hating girls," said one of the boys, "I'm going to quit hating HER first!"

Communism is out of the closet, out on the American street under its own name and doing its best to be heard and heeded. This is the second time American Communists have been comfortable preaching, parading and plotting without hiding behind front groups shouting "Peace" and "Equality" and pretending their real name and aim is something like "Milk for Bulgarian Babies." Before World War II, being a Communist was fashionable. It made you a kind of automatic moral giant. Journalist Lincoln Steffens returned to America from the brand-new Soviet Union and declared, "I have seen the future, and it works!"

Why this, and why now? Authentic American hero Dave Bego, who defied and defeated the efforts of the all-powerful Service Employees International Union (SEIU) to bludgeon him into accepting unionization of his industrial cleaning company, Executive Management Services, sent me a literally unbelievable "picture show" of a joint SEIU and Communist Party rally in Los Angeles in which the union members carried Communist flags and the marching Communists carried union signs.

All of the joy and prestige of being a Communist vanished shortly after the Americans and British, with our Soviet allies, destroyed Nazi Germany. The true face of Communism became abruptly plain. Territory conquered by Allied troops was liberated. That conquered by the Communists was enslaved. The Berlin Blockade was a shameless Soviet abrogation of our agreements.

The Iron Curtain descended across Europe. The Nazi "knock-on-the-door" followed by the permanent disappearance of those inside, the torture chambers, the total repression of all freedoms, life sentences in the Gulag for the crime of listening to foreign broadcasts, the works – really the whole Nazi works – unfolded. It's true, opportunistic American politicians demagogued Communism for votes, but they did more service to America than those demagoguing Paul Ryan's attempt to reform entitlements today.

It's time for frankness, not civility ~ By Erik Rush

Before you begin reading Erik's column and my commentary, please understand that I had planned to post this column on Friday morning. However, I had an unexpected delay. There was a slight little problem. It wasn't just because it was Friday the 13th... (was it?) No, it was part of the downtime that Blogger experienced that began with service issues following their maintenance project on Thursday, May 12.

To put it simply, the ability to start or edit blog posts was not available during that time. I was unable to start working on this post for my entire work day on Friday because of the downtime. And then when everything started working again - finally - I had too many other distractions that prevented me from getting this post done.

Well, here it is, at last. Are you ready for this?

The clear and present danger, as it were, is the one represented by those who have been wholly taken in by the con men, rather than the power players themselves: Union members, certain minority groups, as well as a few fringe special interests. Like the Russian, Chinese and Cuban workers, these believe that their kind, wise benefactors will usher in a new "worker's paradise."

Well, I don't think that the majority of Americans will suffer such fools gladly, not in the long term. Nor is there anything in our Constitution that says they have to.

Back in March, Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan warned the president that "America will be bathed in blood" if Obama does not check his course, "because the American people are rising against their own government." And indeed, the civil war with which this administration is flirting would be far uglier than the last, because the battle lines will be drawn demographically, rather than geographically.

Yes, I am very aware that embedding a video like that above is very wrong. However, I only did it for symbolic purposes, to illustrate a point: Whatever conservatives say about President Barack Hussein Obama will be DEMONIZED!

For those of us that are going to follow Erik's advice, we're aware of what we'll be faced with. In the last column that I posted, Robert Ringer talked about the "normalcy bias." In my commentary on that column, I explained that when we tell people that Obama is Marxist, "I can see the facial expressions loudly portraying that they want to smack me in the head to get me back to reality. Eyebrows go up, eyes roll back."

Really? That's all that will happen? It really isn't. I failed to mention that to be up front with people, and let them know about Obama's evil agenda for this country, there could be detrimental affects on your social life, your career, and possibly even for you and your family's safety. It didn't really hit me until after I read this column by Erik the day after Robert's column came out. The pressure to keep you silent won't just come from government goons coming after you. They have other ways to "encourage" you to keep your mouth shut.

And then there is Mike Huckabee, who just announced that he won't be running for President. I think Mike understood that to win the election in 2012 would necessarily involve exposing Obama's evil socialist agenda. It wasn't in his heart. I'm just sayin'...

It's time for frankness, not civility

On May Day, Marxist-socialist pukes the world over held festivities commemorating International Workers' Day, the bastardization of what used to be a generic Spring holiday in many cultures, this being the first day of May. It may surprise the reader to know that the usurped version is celebrated in more than 80 countries at present.

This May 1, the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) co-sponsored a rally in Los Angeles, one many interpreted as part of the ongoing effort on the part of radicals to normalize communism and Marxist thought in America. Even well-intentioned, politically active liberals and independent voters still giggle at the inference of a communist infiltration in America – let alone one that has installed a Marxist government and affiliated organizations into power.

Yet, there is so much evidence in confirmation of this that I haven't the space to enumerate it here.

Over the last few days, conservative pundits have been up in arms over the sociopathic rapper Common being invited to the White House by first lady Michelle Obama for a so-called celebration of American poetry. While this ought not be surprising (since the Obamas are, ideologically, part of the gang that celebrated the foul-mouthed "poet" and 9/11 truther Amiri Baraka being named Poet Laureate of the state of New Jersey in 2002, forever neutralizing the significance of that honor), it is indicative of the first couple's willingness to sully every feature of the White House, physical and symbolic. It also illustrates the extent to which political correctness and leftist intimidation have come to influence nearly all Americans.

What I mean by this is that public outrage over any number of offenses committed by this administration engender whispers of discontent, when they should elicit roars of derision. One Fox News commentator habitually refers to the president as a "far-left guy," while another asks his guests if they think Barack Obama "might be" a socialist.

With what is at stake in this nation, we simply cannot afford the civility and decorum we would like to practice. This tendency of ours has been capitalized upon by the left, and it is but one more of the virtues they are turning against us. I have no problem whatever in stating that Common is a brainless, ghetto idiot, this being in part a pathetic affectation itself, since he was raised by professional, educated people.
