Are We Looking at an Election 2020 Nightmare Scenario? ~ Ep. 1282 ~ The Dan Bongino Show®

From the Dan Bongino Show's description of this episode on youtube.com/Bongino or in his Show Notes:
In this episode, I address the potential for a 2020 election nightmare which would tear the country apart. I also address the riots in front of the White House last night. I discuss the latest outrageous media attack on innocent civilians trying to defend themselves.
Dan gets on a roll in one of the segments in the middle of the episode, where he talks about the media attacks on the people that are trying to defend themselves, but are slurred by NPR who said they were the violent extremists, and the fact that the left-wing media doesn't even care that they are lying.  That's definitely a segment that I want you to pay attention to.

And then, there of course is the 2020 election nightmare that Dan mentions.  Yes, election fraud is one of my highest concerns at this moment.  Especially because of who are opponents are, and they want to "transform" America.  Well?  What else can they say is their platform, besides Socialism is good and capitalism is bad, and that we should all be dependent on the State, and Government is the answer to all our problems, and going to church will get us all killed because of the Coronavirus, but it's okay to go to the weed shop so that you can forget all of your problems?  That it should be the government that is worshipped, and not God?   Yes, so us patriotic, God loving, peaceful and quiet Americans will just comply with the "rules," but it's okay for rioters, a.k.a. "protesters," according to Fake News Media, to go and destroy monuments to our history and heritage?  This whole thing is very troubling.

Sometimes, I actually feel the most free when I am writing these blogs.  Allow me to explain.
Last week, when I was writing my post for Ep. 1278, I had mentioned what I have been doing, and in order to show the courtesy to ask if it was okay, I emailed Dan Bongino, just to make sure I had his blessing. Here is a quote from that post:
This thing I've been doing, writing a blog following all his episodes, can be extremely time consuming for me, but I live for every moment in doing it. But, there is something that I know I need to do: I am going to have to contact him and get his permission to keep doing this, where I embed his videos into the blogs. I don't know if I will get any reply, and I'm not sure if he will grant me the permission to embed his youtube videos. But, I promise, I'll at least make the effort to request the permission.
I sent the email to Dan, hopefully to the right email address.  Well, as I figured, I didn't get a reply yet.  Or, maybe his attorneys are preparing a cease and desist order.  I don't really know.  But, until I hear a resounding "NO!" I will keep on keeping on.  And I at least attempted to make things right.

When I was feeling somewhat gloomy just last night, I found this fantastic "Daily Motivator" from Ralph Marston.  Here is a small portion of the post:
Your time, knowledge, skills and resources are limited. So by all means put them to good use, and do what you can.

Take every opportunity to move life a little bit in the direction you want it to go. Do what you can, again and again, and you’ll find yourself doing a lot more good than you ever could have imagined.

— Ralph Marston
Really think about this, there is a lot of meaning to it, especially right now.  I'm doing what I can to help President Trump get another four years (including a whole lot of prayers!).  I'm doing what I can to help Dan Bongino reach more people. Why?  To help him make more money?  Nope.  There is just ONE reason, and that is because he is fighting back.  I love a fighter.  We're all getting a bit fed up with the Liberal lies and insults from Demonicrat politicians and Leftist media, and the censorship by the Big Tech guys in Silicon Valley.  We all need to continue fighting!

So, yes, I really do love Ralph's words, which are worth repeating again: "Do what you can, again and again, and you’ll find yourself doing a lot more good than you ever could have imagined."  Exactly, and that is what I'm doing, and will continue to, until I'm no longer able, due to health, death, or being put in a gulag somewhere.

PLEASE watch all of this episode if you can possibly fit it into your busy day.

WIFLI Briefing for May 9, 2012 - There's Still Hope For Change!

Welcome to this edition of Time 2 Escape WIFLI Briefing!

What is WIFLI?
You may be wondering what the acronym "WIFLI" means. I started out by calling these issues the Time 2 Escape Daily, but that didn't work out very well. I quickly learned that putting these issues together on a daily basis was a task I was unable to accomplish. To replace "Daily" in the title, I borrowed the acronym WIFLI, which literally means "When I Feel Like It." Putting together a post on this blog WIFLI works much better for my schedule, and for the higher quality of each issue that is eventually published!

FAIR USE NOTICE: This edition of the Time 2 Escape WIFLI Briefing may contain copyrighted material. Such material is made available for educational purposes only. This constitutes a 'fair use' of any such copyrighted material as provided for in Title 17 U.S.C. section 106A-117 of the U.S. Copyright Law.
There was an event on my way to work the other night that had some influence on how I presented this WIFLI Briefing. I almost bought the farm when I missed seeing a sign that said the left TWO lanes would be closed ahead. When I arrived at those pylons in the middle of the lane I was in, I was forced to swerve into the right lane. At that point, all I saw were the dead bugs on the headlights and grill of that big semi in my rear view mirror. Fortunately, I didn't cause a major accident. I was spared.

And I was inspired in the last few days to begin wondering if something could happen to me for sharing the stories and commentaries here in the briefing. Thoughts of Andrew Breitbart came to my mind. Not to the point of psychotic paranoia, but I do realize that what I've written about might upset people in high places that would want me silenced.

Seriously, I am well aware of the fact that I don't need to be silenced in a way that has fatal consequences. (And I know that I'm not that important in the way of being an information warrior like Breitbart was.) But could I face other situations that would slow me down or even crush my efforts for awhile? Most definitely, as my buddy Phil Elmore wrote last week:

Liberals adore the idea of silencing dissent. To this end, and because they believe they hold the moral high ground when contending with heartless, selfish, benighted conservatives, liberals will use a combination of intimidation, threats and dishonesty to destroy or remove any and all critics.

The Obama administration has tried several times to exploit this tendency among its more ardent followers. There was the White House email hotline, flag@whitehouse.gov; there was the running joke that was “AttackWatch” and its Twitter account; more recently, Obama’s flacks have been pushing the Orwellian “Truth Team.” Liberals are also abusing Twitter’s spam-reporting system to trigger automatic blocking of conservative Twitter accounts.
Yup, been there, had that done to me, when my youtube account was terminated last year, thanks to anonymous complaints. I really had it going, and somebody didn't like my success (over 4 million views of my 1300+ videos).

Yet, I keep on trucking. So what keeps me going? Another "Ralphism" as I now call them. It happened that just today, Ralph Marston wrote another Daily Motivator that seems so relevant to today's theme to this WIFLI Briefing (There's Still Hope For Change!):

When life hands you a negative experience, respond with a positive action. Instead of letting the difficult circumstances pull you down, choose to let them inspire you.

Sure, it’s easy to become dismayed. Yet the truly empowering fact is that it’s just as easy to become determined.

Your attitude is always your choice. So you might as well choose the attitude that will serve you the very best.

Allen West to Conservatives: ‘You Must Be Like Sharks That Smell Blood In the Water & You Must Attack’
From THEBLAZE ~ by Billy Hallowell ~ Published May 7, 2012 at 7:15 a.m.

Rep. Allen West (R-FL) is known for his fiery — and fearless — commentary. In a speech he delivered to the Broward Republican Executive Committee in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the congressman delved into many of the challenges facing the nation. He encouraged the audience to “fight back against…liberal progressivism” and he accused those on the left of attempting to create fear and separation among Americans.

Rep. Allen West (R-FL)
West commenced the speech by speaking about some of the protesters who had assembled outside of his address at the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six Fort, referring to them as “chuckleheads.”

“A chucklehead is a person who is so inept and incompetent that all you can do is look at them and laugh,” West said.

But he didn’t spend long describing his detractors, as he moved on to the economy and some of the progressive values he believes are dangerous to the nation’s survival.

This is a moral discussion we’ve having in this country, because we‘re talking about what we’re going to leave for our children and grandchildren,” West said, going on to share his feelings about American liberals. ”I feel sorry for them because for whatever reason they don’t know the essence of the greatness of the United States of America.

Obama launches campaign in empty arena
Organizers even had people move to floor to project larger crowd

Via WND ~ From Breitbart.com ~ By Alexander Marlow ~ May 6, 2012

Barack Obama launched his campaign in unspectacular fashion today at Ohio State University, the largest college in the crucial swing state. A photo posted to twitter by Mitt Romney's campaign spokesman Ryan Williams reveals sparse attendance. The [image below], according to Williams, was taken during the President's first official campaign speech.

During the speech, Obama ripped into the presumptive GOP nominee and discussed nation building at home, but the most newsworthy item of the day was not the talking points Obama delivered: it was the crowd... or lack thereof. According to ABC News, the Obama campaign had expected an "overflow" of people. Instead, the arena looked half-empty. The Columbus Dispatch reports that Obama organizers even had people move from the seats to the floor of the gym in order to project a larger crowd on television.

Back on March 1, 2012, I unfortunately needed to write a Special Edition for the WIFLI Briefing. Here is what I wrote at that time:
The news hit me very hard. The things that Andrew had worked on in the last few years were fearless. He was a courageous patriot that exposed the corruption in government. Andrew understood that Americans needed to know what is really going on. He exposed ACORN back in 2009, with the help of undercover videographers James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles.
I'm was speaking of Andrew Breitbart, who had suddenly passed away. There was a great amount of sorrow in the hearts of many people that knew Andrew personally, and those of us that knew who Andrew was and what he had accomplished.

However, Andrew was a terrible thorn in the side of many people because of the corruption that he managed to expose. The result was that there were a few people that considered Andrew as a dangerous enemy. Once the story broke that Andrew had passed away so suddenly, there were immediate suspicions that his death was not due to natural causes. There were plenty of reasons for people to have these suspicions, but no evidence had been available that could substantiate concerns that Andrew Breitbart was murdered, until now...

In the next three explosive stories that I am including in this edition, you will find out that there are some very peculiar circumstances surrounding the death of Andrew Breitbart. I don't believe that there is tangible physical evidence that would be enough for a grand jury to indict any individuals or uncover a large conspiracy plot, but it may be enough for you to believe and agree that something's not right.

Breitbart's coroner poisoned to death?
Police probe mysterious demise of L.A. medical examiner
From WND U.S. ~ By Joe Kovacs ~ Published April 29, 2012 at 10:15 PM

Medical examiners in Los Angeles are investigating the possible poisoning death of one of their own officials who may have worked on the case of Andrew Breitbart, the conservative firebrand who died March 1, the same day Sheriff Joe Arpaio announced probable cause for forgery in President Obama’s birth certificate.

Michael Cormier, a respected forensic technician for the Los Angeles County Coroner died under suspicious circumstances at his North Hollywood home April 20, the same day Breitbart’s cause of death was finally made public.

“There are mysterious circumstances surrounding his death,” said Elizabeth Espinosa, a news reporter for KTLA-TV. “We’re told detectives are looking into the possibility that he was poisoned by arsenic.”

Michael Cormier
Cormier, 61, had been rushed to Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank after complaining of pain and vomiting.

“He was transported there early in the morning, and passed away late at night,” Ed Winter, assistant chief of operations and Cormier’s colleague at the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner, told KTLA. “It affects everybody when you lose a co-worker, but we’ll proceed and do our job and try to figure out why Michael died.”

The hospital then notified Los Angeles Police about Cormier’s death.

“At this point we haven’t ruled out foul play,” police Lt. Alan Hamilton told the Los Angeles Times. “It is one of the things being considered. We are waiting for the coroner’s results.”

Now a witness to Breitbart's death vanishes
Follows suspicious demise of member of coroner's team
From WND ~ By Jerome Corsi ~ Published May 7, 2012

JEROME CORSI
A private investigator has been unable to find the only eyewitness to the sudden death of media innovator and conservative activist Andrew Breitbart.

The apparent disappearance of Christopher Lasseter, who says he saw Breitbart drop to the sidewalk in front of a restaurant, adds to the mystery surrounding Breitbart’s March 1 death.

On the day the Los Angeles County coroner released Breitbart’s autopsy report, a photographic technician at the coroner’s office died suddenly of suspicious causes.

In addition, at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, D.C., just three weeks before Breitbart’s death – where he promised to unveil “damning” new video evidence of Barack Obama’s radical past that would change the election – Breitbart gave WND details of his upcoming revelations.

He claimed to WND that he had a video showing radical Weather Underground terrorist Bill Ayers and Barack Obama at Harvard planning revolution in the United States. But the video, aired just after he died, was of Obama introducing a radical Harvard professor, and the general response was flat.

Filmmaker Steve Bannon, appointed executive chairman of the Breitbart News Network after Breitbart’s death, has insisted to WND that the media mogul died of natural causes and to suggest anything else is irresponsible.

After reading Mr. Corsi's column, we may wonder if there is anything to the disappearance of "the witness" or the sudden death of the coroner, who turned out to only be a photographer for the Los Angeles Medical Examiner's office. Could the timing of these various "incidents" just be a strange coincidence? You decide.

Connect The Dots: Andrew Breitbart Was Murdered
From Before It's News ~ Published May 04, 2012 at 12:12

This revelation just came across the transom from the Minuteman PAC. Was Andrew Breitbart ASSASSINATED and his coroner POISONED TO DEATH? Is it possible that Andrew Breitbart – who died the same day Sheriff Joe Arpaio announced ‘probable cause’ and who was about to interview Sheriff Joe and share the Cold Case Posse investigation with world news outlets – was assassinated?

Is it possible that the coroner who may have worked on the case of Andrew Breitbart was likewise assassinated THE SAME DAY Breitbart’s cause of death was made public? Was Andrew Breitbart murdered by Obama and his thug Chicago-machine for not conforming to the radicals’ “Hope and Change” progressive agenda or staying mum on the eligibility investigation? The suspicious timing of the death of Andrew Breitbart's coroner has opened a new chapter in threats made against the Cold Case Posse investigation and anyone remotely connected or involved with it.

Remember when Democrats, including a certain senator named Barack Obama, used to scream that President George W. Bush was abusing his executive powers?

Those were the good old days!

Since becoming president, Obama has turned the abuse of executive power into a high art form – especially since Republicans took control of the House of Representatives and rendered him incapable of getting the most extreme elements of his left-wing agenda through Congress.

Obama is especially brazen in his use of executive orders, and, most astonishingly, he makes no bones about the fact that he does so – telling a gathering in Las Vegas last October, “We can’t wait for an increasingly dysfunctional Congress to do its job. Where they won’t act, I will.”

In Obamaspeak, “dysfunctional” is a euphemism for “won’t give me everything I want.” So what are the big emergencies that require Obama to act on his own without congressional approval?

Time 2 Escape WIFLI Special Edition: Andrew Breitbart dead at 43

Welcome to this Special Edition of Time 2 Escape WIFLI Briefing!

What is WIFLI?
You may be wondering what the acronym "WIFLI" means. I started out by calling these issues the Time 2 Escape Daily, but that didn't work out very well. I quickly learned that putting these issues together on a daily basis was a task I was unable to accomplish. ANDREW BREITBART (1969 - 2012)
~ A Time 2 Escape WIFLI SPECIAL EDITION ~

A very short time ago, when the story first broke on Fox News and then on Glenn Beck's radio show, I found out that Andrew Breitbart had passed away early today (or late yesterday?) from "natural causes."

It was a very big shock. I had just woke up from a very much needed power nap here in my office (darn, missed about 20 minutes of Glenn Beck's show!) when the story broke on Fox News, and so I pinched myself to make sure it wasn't just a dream, or a terrible nightmare. Very unfortunately, I was wide awake, and it really did happen.

The news hit me very hard. The things that Andrew had worked on in the last few years were fearless. He was a
courageous patriot that exposed the corruption in government. Andrew understood that Americans needed to know what is really going on. He exposed ACORN back in 2009, with the help of undercover videographers James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles

The fearlessness and courage of the man and his associates is matched by very few.

Though I always knew that there was no way I could ever accomplish anything even close to what Andrew Breitbart has done for Conservative new media journalism, at least it gave me a desire to do what I could to make sure that people were aware of the things that are probably missed by most people while standing at the water cooler or the designated outdoors smoking areas.

Within you is a vision that’s your very own, unique gift to all that is. Be that person who lives that vision, and from it you’ll create great and wonderful richness.

— Ralph Marston, in BE THAT PERSON, March 1, 2012
Yes, Andrew Breitbart was very much a part of my inspiration to be doing what I can for America in my blogs. But perhaps, like Glenn Beck said a few minutes ago, when someone of Breitbart's magnitude passes, there are another 1,000 people that will continue where somebody like Andrew left off. For Andrew Breitbart, I will do my best to be one of those 1,000 people. Though Andrew has gone on to a much better place, the rest of us must carry on, and strive to be one of those thousand people that accomplishes a tiny fraction of what Andrew was able to do.

My most sincere condolences go out to Andrew's wife and four children. Though many of us feel the loss, there is obviously nothing like losing a husband or father. We can only share in the family's grief.

Time 2 Escape WIFLI for Sunday, Feb 5, 2012

It was a great Superbowl today. I enjoyed it, though I never picked which team I wanted to win or thought would win. Even with the last play of the game, the hail Mary into the end zone, I didn't care if it won the game or not. The good news is, the two teams did care about the outcome of that play. If they didn't, if they felt like I did, it never would have been much of a game to begin with.

At any rate, the game helped to take our minds off all that is going on in the world for a little while. Again, to start out with, you're being offered the opportunity to see what is going on with Iran lately, and what it may mean to the world in a very short amount of time. The possibilities of what could happen because of Iran's latest actions are numerous, and it could have a drastic affect on our lives. Let's just hope that things don't come to a climactic end like Superbowl XLVI (46) had. And we should hope that our government doesn't wait until it will take a Hail Mary to keep us safe.

Israel, U.S. divided over timing of Iran strike
'Significant analytic difference' over how close Tehran is to shielding from attack
From Bloomberg ~ via WND.com ~ By Nicole Gaouette and Jonathan Ferziger - Feb 3, 2012 3:21 PM CT

The U.S. and Israel are publicly disagreeing over timing for a potential attack on Iran’s disputed nuclear facilities, as that nation’s leader said it won’t back down.

The U.S. and Israel have a “significant analytic difference” over estimates of how close Iran is to shielding its nuclear program from attack, Aaron David Miller, a former Mideast peace negotiator in the Clinton administration, said today.

“There’s a growing concern -- more than a concern -- that the Israelis, in order to protect themselves, might launch a strike without approval, warning or even foreknowledge,” he said in an interview.

The differing views were underscored by public comments this week by senior Israeli and U.S. defense officials.

From WND.com ~ By Aaron Klein ~ Published Feb 4, 2012

JERUSALEM – According to a senior Egyptian security official speaking to WND, Iran offered China a deal to purchase oil at a cheaper price in exchange for vetoing a U.N. resolution today that called on Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to resign.

Assad’s regime has been facing a violent insurgency. The Syrian president’s security forces were accused of a massacre today shelling the insurgent stronghold of Homs, reportedly the bloodiest single day in the 11-month uprising.

Syrian officials, however, say well-armed Islamic extremists have been shooting at their forces and deliberately drawing retaliatory fire into civilian populations.

Russia and China torpedoed today’s resolution at the U.N. Security Council that endorsed an Arab League plan for Assad to hand power to a deputy to make way for a transition towards democracy.

Exclusive: Patrice Lewis figures her 'government dossier must be getting longer by the day'
From WND Commentary ~ By Patrice Lewis ~ Published Feb 3, 2012

PATRICE LEWIS
It was the tweet heard round the world. A young British couple on their way to America to sightsee tweeted to some friends that they were going to “destroy” America. Destroy in current British slang means party.

And for that unpardonable breech of etiquette, the couple was arrested, jailed, deported and banned from visiting our diverse and tolerant nation.

It doesn’t matter that our borders are porous and our elected officials ignore millions of undocumented aliens. It doesn’t matter that we have untold numbers of enemies in this country who have sworn (and sometimes carried out) death and destruction, and whose threats we disregard in the name of tolerance and diversity. But let a couple of kids tell their friends their intent to party in America and they’re sent packing. I’ll bet we taught them a lesson, by jingo.

When my husband first told me about this British couple, my question was, “How did the tweet come to the attention of the feds? Did one of their friends turn them in?”

First, They Came for the Catholics
The Obama administration is breaking with a compact that dates back to the Founding.
From National Review Online ~ via RenewAmerica.com ~ By Michelle Malkin ~ Feb 1, 2012 12:00 A.M.

MICHELLE MALKIN
President Obama and his radical-feminist enforcers have had it in for Catholic medical providers from the get-go. It’s about time all people of faith fought back against this unprecedented encroachment on religious liberty. First, they came for the Catholics. Who’s next?

This weekend, Catholic bishops informed parishioners of the recent White House edict forcing religious hospitals, schools, charities, and other health and social-service providers to provide “free” abortifacient pills, sterilizations, and contraception on demand in their insurance plans — even if it violates their moral consciences and the teachings of their churches.

NARAL, NOW, Ms. magazine, and the Feminist Majority Foundation all cheered the administration’s abuse of the Obamacare law to ram abortion down pro-life medical professionals’ throats. Femme dinosaur Eleanor Smeal gloated over the news that the administration had rejected church officials’ pleas for compromises: “At last,” she exulted, the Left’s goal of “no-cost birth control” for all had been achieved.

The target is Obama!
From RenewAmerica.com ~ By Henry Lamb ~ January 29, 2012

HENRY LAMB
Many people are convinced that this President has done more to destroy the United States in three years than all the other presidents combined. The only hope of preventing another four years of even more drastic destructive policies is the election of one of the four remaining Republican candidates. The two frontrunners are using their time and resources, even on national television where they can be seen by the public, arguing over whether Newt's consulting contract with Freddie Mac is "lobbying," or whether Mitt is a moderate. Wake up gentlemen; the target is Obama!

There are only a few fleeting months before people will go to the polls to choose America's next leader. The candidates should not waste a moment trying to tear each other down. The target is Obama. People need to know about his destructive policies and how they are destroying America.

They need to know that Obama speaks in a highly specialized language of deceit and misdirection. For example, his EPA has been studying the Keystone Pipeline project for three years. It could have been approved at least two years ago, or rejected, were identified and documented flaws found. But no, Obama decided to put off a decision until after the 2012 election in an effort to appease both his environmental and union friends. This action blocked as many as 20,000 well-paying private-sector jobs that could begin immediately, and produce another 100,000 jobs as the pipeline began operation.

This action follows months of Obama telling the American people that his first priority is jobs, jobs, jobs.

The vision inside
From The Daily Motivator ~ By Ralph Marston ~ Saturday, Feb 4, 2012

Achievement flows from the inside out. To experience an exceptional life on the outside, you must nurture exceptionally positive values on the inside.

You cannot be angry, resentful, envious or cynical on the inside and expect to achieve anything of value. No matter where you might attempt to direct it, your negativity hurts you more than anyone else.

The great thing is, you can experience an outstanding life if you will constantly and persistently envision an outstanding life. That positive vision will itself drive your actions to ensure its own fulfillment.

There is great and unique beauty living within you. Connect with it, acknowledge it, express it and watch as your actions create corresponding beauty in the world around you.

It was in the last paragraph written by Ralph Marston, that I knew I needed to start this blog post in this way: "You have this amazing and valuable moment, so live it to the fullest. Feel the immense goodness, as you are, and be all you can be."

When I say that "I need to be different, and I need to do things differently" I'm not saying that anything about ME needs to change. What I am saying is that I am okay with the fact that I don't exactly do things like everyone else. I've seen the way so many news websites and blogs all look alike these days. Even Joseph Farah changed the look of WorldNetDaily, now known as WND... Am I supposed to do everything like all the big players are doing it now, or is it okay if I stay "old school"?

Yes, it is true that things change or evolve, especially when it comes to technology! But it's also possible - at the same time - that it is just my older age and the desire to maintain the status quo. I was going through that feeling around Christmas in 2011.

So, here is my point: I kind of liked the way we were free at one time. Taking away that freedom is rubbing me a little bit wrong. It is not the "change" that I would ever hope for!

For now, I am sticking to the traditions that I've known: I still want to "Bring on the Fireworks!" every July 4th, on that day we celebrate our Independence Day. I'm just sayin'...

The chief of the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Arizona is refusing to testify before Congress regarding Operation Fast and Furious, the federal gun-running scandal that sent U.S. weapons to Mexico.

Patrick J. Cunningham informed the House Oversight Committee late Thursday through his attorney that he will use the Fifth Amendment protection.

Cunningham was ordered Wednesday to appear before Chairman Darrell Issa and the House Oversight Committee regarding his role in the operation that sent more than 2,000 guns to the Sinaloa Cartel. Guns from the failed operation were found at the murder scene of Border Agent Brian Terry.

It’s about freedom, not jobs!
Exclusive: Robert Ringer exhorts Republicans to focus on core issue of this election
From WND Commentary ~ By Robert Ringer ~ Published Jan 18, 2012

Every time you think the media are about to run out of ideas for transforming a nonstory into a spectacular news event, they manage to come up with yet another gem. That said, forgive me for adding my two cents worth to the Bain Capital brouhaha.

Those who know Newt Gingrich best have long predicated he would implode, even after he shot to the top of the polls, which he managed to do by cleverly playing the role of the calm, intellectual, peacemaking elderly statesman who was above the fray. So Gingrich’s angry obsession with taking down MittMan, even if it means destroying his own chances of winning the Republican nomination, is not surprising.

After observing his words and actions – from his climate-changing couch love-fest with Nancy Pelosi to his infamous “right-wing social engineering” comment about Paul Ryan’s budget plan – and then his scorched-earth attacks on free-market capitalism – I’ve come to the conclusion that Newt is not just a nasty, egomaniacal, self-destructive, undisciplined flip-flopper.

The translation of the Hawvawd study? DUH! (Bring on the Fireworks!)
From johnny2k Is Home ~ By John Kubicek ~ Wednesday, Jul 06, 2011

Seriously, I can not make this stuff up! While in the process of working on another blog story, "Occupied Nation ~ By Patrice Lewis," on Sunday morning, a subject came up on Fox & Friends Sunday that took me by surprise. I had not heard about this before Sunday. Isn't it interesting that it came out right before the July 4th holiday weekend? Surely, it was just ironic coincidence.

Time 2 Escape WIFLI for Sunday, Jan 15, 2012

Thanks to Patrice Lewis for the motivating words she wrote in her column on Friday, I was in the mood, or as I'm now saying, in the WIFLI mode, today. Yesterday... umm... not so much.

While in the WIFLI mode today, I found the columns of both Patrice Lewis and Henry Lamb. I felt the need to explain the relationship between the two. It took me awhile before I discovered the treasure right in front of me.

And the BIG story is right in front of us ALL!

I probably hit the nail right on the head in my previous rant two days ago when I talked about how the media discusses the art of destroying a wonderful individual because of his core beliefs. The poster boy of being able to deflect or absorb personal attacks, of course, would be Tim Tebow. And, in the mean time, we have this conflict going on in the Republican Party for a 2012 nominee, where it seems the only answer to political aggression is an aggressive counter-attack.

Don't you wish GOP candidates
- or, at least... one of them - had the commitment and tenacity of a guy like Tim Tebow? (Or Herman Cain awhile back?)

I am very afraid of what this coming election in November 2012 will bring us. Can any of the remaining GOP candidates survive an onslaught of attacks from each other, along with from the media?

Yes, today was one of those WIFLI days. But I understand how Patrice Lewis feels when nothing is providing a spark to write SOMETHING. But while credit can be given to Tim Tebow and Patrice Lewis for getting me to write today, they were just the tools God used to get us motivated at this time. I'm just sayin'...

Was this any more of a stupid story than this related article?
It worked for Charlie Sheen, so can a dose of good ol’ Salem witchcraft help Tom Brady exorcize Tim Tebow tomorrow night?
And apparently, it unfortunately worked.... Really?  No, I think people like Tim won this round!

Professional politician; inept President
From RenewAmerica.com ~ By Henry Lamb ~ January 15, 2012

HENRY LAMB
Several of the Republican candidates have said that the 2012 elections are the most important elections in our lifetime. They are. The current powers in Washington, most of the media, as well as academia, want the nation to abandon, or at least, to reinterpret the U.S. Constitution to justify the Marxist idea that government should manage society. These folks are winning the battle.

They're winning because they've been working at it for a century. "They" are the progressives, like Barack Hussein Obama, who actually believe that government is a better manager of society and the economy than are free people in a free market. Obama apparently believes that his position endows him with the wisdom to make right decisions, regardless of the fact that he has had no real-life experience at anything other than organizing street protests.   READ MORE
And here is another profound excerpt from Henry's great commentary that I am emphasizing:
His adoring press amplified Obama's criticism of the Republican-controlled House for not approving his jobs bill, which included a healthy tax increase. "We can't wait," was his cry to the public. He failed to mention that the Republican House had passed more than 20 jobs bills that the Democrat-controlled Senate refused to even consider. He failed to mention that more than 20,000 jobs were left awaiting only his approval on the Keystone Pipeline project — studied for more than three years by the EPA.

Tebowing for life
Exclusive: Patrice Lewis hates football but loves the light QB is shining
From WND Opinion ~ By Patrice Lewis ~ Published Friday, Jan 13, 2012

PATRICE LEWIS
Sometimes it’s hard to write a column every single week. Sometimes an idea “sings” to me and I can pound out a column in an hour. Other times it’s like pulling teeth.

This week it was pulling teeth. I had a couple of concepts, but nothing that “sang” to me enough to put it on paper and make logical sense of it.

Then late Thursday night I read an article about Tim Tebow, the Denver Bronco’s quarterback, and I knew I had my subject.    READ MORE
(Hey, Patrice, I know the feeling about writing on a regular basis, especially on a set schedule! The ideas don't always come to me, either.  That was why I had to change the name of my posts from "Time 2 Escape Daily" to "Time 2 Escape WIFLI".  I found it more honest to call my posts "When I Feel Like It!" ...  Oh, and by the way, I wonder if the article about Tim Tebow that Patrice saw was this one? I included that one in my WIFLI on Friday. Or, perhaps it is the blog that I am including below?)

Tebow in the Termite Mound
From Out of Order: the Blog ~ By Dale ~ Thursday, January 12, 2012

In the Babylon of Daniel the prophet, worshiping the wrong God openly got you a one-way ticket to the Lion's Den. The same offense today gets you thrown into America's leftist media Termite Mound. Time 2 Escape WIFLI for Friday, Jan 13, 2012

Today's post of my new WIFLI (An acronym for "When I Feel Like It" and pronounced like "Why-Fly") series is aimed toward some certain people: 1) People that don't like the truth to be told (Yes, you, Cass Sunstein!) and claim that the government must control speech; 2) People that think that it is wrong for Timmy Tebow to express his Christian beliefs; 3) People that are so enamored with Barack Obama that they see him as a world leader; AKA Messiah 4) People that fit in the ALL OF THE ABOVE category.

You see, I'm not going to allow the far left of the progressive Democrats to deny that their main goal is to silence people that want to tell you that the love of Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior will do us much more good than depending on the government, much less, a global dictatorship. I'm not going to stay silent.

Could you imagine a world where people with an opinion are not allowed to say what they believe? Is that not what Cass Sunstein desires? And what about the uproar about the success of an NFL quarterback, a new star, that gives all the glory to Jesus Christ? Out loud, with a large TV audience watching?  Those currently in power really do not want that to be happening. But it is. They can't seem to stop it, other than their usual discrediting effort.

I invite you to tell me how I'm wrong, but I'm confident that you won't be able to. Obama's crowd has the motivation, and now they are cluelessly thinking that you and I shouldn't be allowed to talk about it and thus, actually think about it. It's not time for Big Brother, is it? Just fly like an eagle, and keep FREEDOM as your top priority.  I'm just sayin'....

Obama czar proposed government ‘infiltrate’ social network sites
Sunstein wants agents to 'undermine' talk in chat rooms, message boards
From WND ~ By Aaron Klein ~ Published January 12, 2012

Just prior to his appointment as President Obama’s so-called regulatory czar, Cass Sunstein wrote a lengthy academic paper suggesting the government should “infiltrate” social network websites, chat rooms and message boards.

Cass Sunstein
Such “cognitive infiltration,” Sunstein argued, should be used to enforce a U.S. government ban on “conspiracy theorizing.”

Among the beliefs Sunstein classified as a “conspiracy theory” is advocating that the theory of global warming is a deliberate fraud.

The find comes after a report (See: Time 2 Escape WIFLI for Thursday, Jan 12, 2012) of a government document indicating that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s command center routinely monitors dozens of popular websites, including Facebook, Twitter, Hulu, WikiLeaks and news sites such as the Huffington Post and Drudge Report.    READ MORE

How Tim Tebow Messed Up My Plans & Forced Me to Preach on His Family’s Behalf
Via WND - From Oregon Faith Report
By Randy Alcorn (Eternal Perspectives Ministries) ~ January 12, 2012

I’ve never told any of this story publicly in the four years since it happened, but since I’m doing it, I may as well include something else. The previous spring we had been visiting our friends Chuck and Gena Norris, when Tim was asked in an interview to name someone he really admired. Tim’s answer was, “Chuck Norris.” Chuck really got a kick out of this. They’d never met or talked, but knowing we were going to this game, Chuck called me right then to see how it went. I said, “Well, I’m sitting here with Timmy right now.” Then I looked at Tebow and said, “Want to talk to Chuck Norris?”

The expression on his face was priceless. After seeing so many people in the previous hour blown away to meet Tim Tebow, it was fun to see Tim Tebow blown away to talk with Chuck Norris. “Mr. Norris, is this really you? Yes, sir. Thank you, sir. Glad to speak with you too, sir.” (BTW, Timmy called me sir, too, and he would call the janitor sir, and the respect would be just as genuine.)   READ MORE

We’re doomed! … and other left-wing tripe
Exclusive: Phil Elmore notes similarities between Nobel Prize, Doomsday Clock
From WND ~ By Phil Elmore ~ Published Wednesday, Jan 11, 2012

PHIL ELMORE
You’re doomed. You spend a lot of time doomed. If you’re somewhere between 30 and 40, movies like “The Day After” had you convinced you were going to be an ash silhouette before you graduated high school. Those of you in different demographics had other threats looming over you. In popular culture, these swords of Damocles all have in common the assertion that electing leftists and voting for left-wing policies can save you. This is what our televisions tell us, anyway.

The world remains a very bad place. Reuters reported earlier this week that the “symbolic Doomsday Clock calculated by a group of scientists was moved a minute closer to midnight on Tuesday, with the group citing inadequate progress on nuclear weapons reduction and climate change.” This announcement raises questions because leftists still control much of the free world, including the most important of Western political positions. That position is president of the United States.

Remember when Barack Hussein Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize (before he had a chance actually to do anything to earn it)? This act has much in common with the proclamations of those moving the hands of the Doomsday Clock. Both the prize and the clock are political symbols. Their only import is in their function as barometers of leftist opinion.   READ MORE

Before you complain
From The Daily Motivator ~ By Ralph Marston ~ Thursday, January 12, 2012

Whenever you complain about something negative in your world, you reinforce your connection with that negativity. Your complaint can actually focus your energy toward perpetuating and empowering whatever you’re complaining about.

A much better strategy is to come up with a positive alternative, and then to act on it. Instead of merely reinforcing what is wrong, you have an opportunity to change the situation for the better.
