The tea party vs. "OccuMob" ~ Pat Boone hits it out of the park!

I don't know, but maybe Pat Boone reads my Facebook posts. Back on October 24, 2011, I wrote:
There is a big difference between the Tea Party movement and the Occupy Wall Street movement. While the tea partiers want to get the government off our backs so that the economy can thrive, ...the OWS movement is all about abolishing capitalism and giving government more control.
Whether or not Pat had read my posts (Pat and I ARE friends on facebook!), at least I know we are on the same page. Pat expounded (knowingly or unknowingly) on my theme for that post last Monday. There IS a huge difference between the Tea Party Movement and "OccuMob," as Pat called the Occupy Wall Street (astroturfed) movement.

Of course, you will remember when Pelosi and other Democrats accused the Tea Party Movement of being financed by unnamed sources, most likely "capitalists out to screw us all." However, Pat Boone not only accurately shows that the OccuMob was organized (astroturfed), he tells us how people in the "1%" that the Occupy Wallstreet Movement are targeting in the uprising are involved in actually funding and organizing the demonstrations.

This column is of extreme importance for one good reason: Not everyone will know that there is a difference between the Tea Party MOB and OccuMob. The mainstream media is not about to tell you about it. You're going to have to step up and tell people you know that there is a huge difference between the two movements. They won't hear it, otherwise. There is plenty of ammunition to expend that will come from Pat Boone's column. Make use of it! ... I'm just sayin'....

Heard just today on the radio, a newsman asking the "occupiers" in New York City why they were there and what was their purpose:

"F--- Wall Street! F---- politicians! F--- the rich! F--- the police!" was one answer, from one protester.

"Soak the rich b-----s. We want more money. Take it from Wall Street, and send the b-----s to jail!" was another.

"All politicians are criminals! So are the bankers! We demand our rights!" was a constantly repeated refrain. "Tax the rich!" was another.

Many of the demonstrators, some sleeping in tents and others right out in the open in sleeping bags and blankets, eating at improvised "soup kitchens," seemed vague when asked, not quite sure what the objectives were, but expressing anger at the status quo and "solidarity" with the other demonstrators, whatever the goals might be. Some carried signs handed to them by organizers, but couldn't explain exactly what their meaning was.

One young college student, obviously "playing hooky," observed, "This was fun for a couple days, but I've gotta get back to class. I'll do a report, and my professor will love it."

These protests, these "Occupy" demonstrations, just seemed to "spring up" spontaneously in city after city across the country … or so the compliant and empathetic media reported. A number of liberal TV commentators, and eventually even the vice president and President Obama himself, characterized the events as "evidence of widespread discontent" about the economy, joblessness and corruption on Wall Street. And they compared them to the tea-party phenomenon – as if all reading from the same script.

Tea party? Were they kidding? Were they serious?

I know Andrew Breitbart! ~ By Victoria Jackson

I moved to Miami and took my mom to a Marco Rubio rally right before his Senate election. It was mostly in Spanish. I hadn't been asked to sing my "Commie" uke song (that I'd sung at rallies across the nation), and this was my hometown! Discouraged with political activism and ready to quit, I showed my mom Psalm 26, which the day before had encouraged me to stay the course. Right before I started to read it aloud, my cell rang and it was Breitbart. He knows my number?! My mom looked at me impatiently. I mouthed, "He's big."

Andrew began, "You're vindicated!" I said, "What?!" I thought fast. Did I do something wrong? Break a law? Kill someone? Andrew continued, "You're vindicated, Victoria! There's a new book out called 'Radical in Chief' by Stanley Kurtz. It's not a talk-show book. It's a real book. It details all of Obama's radical communistic past! You're vindicated!" As he continued talking excitedly about his new Pigford Scandal unraveling, I thought about what a kind person this was, to remember our conversation a year ago. When we hung up, I tried to explain to my mom who this famous person was. Then I picked up the Bible to read her the verse I had started 20 minutes before, Psalm 26:1, "Vindicate me, Oh Lord. …" My mouth dropped open! Vindicate?!

I was finally able to read Victoria's column from last Friday morning. I'm a little behind on my reading. There is no shortage of brilliant columns to immerse ourselves in. Great media is coming at us 24/7/365 (366 next year!). And now with twitter and facebook and text messages telling us what our friends are reading or watching, there really is an infinite number of ways to entertain - excuse me, I mean educate - ourselves. Things just keep getting more hectic! But I am glad that I finally got to read Victoria's column. I learned a few things.

You will understand the gravity of the second paragraph of the excerpt above once you read down further. But first, make sure that you play the video below where Andrew Breitbart explains the citizen journalist movement to Sean Hannity:

It is all about CITIZEN JOURNALISM! I emphasize that point, because that is what this column is really about... for me. Sure, the actual theme of the column is that liberals can turn Conservative. Victoria and Andrew had once believed that they were liberals. They had at one time bought into the liberal lies... I mean ideologies. They became Conservatives. Don't forget, Ronald Reagan did the same thing.

Back to "citizen journalism." I was just about ready to write, "Discouraged with political activism and ready to quit..." - but Victoria beat me to it. No, she didn't quit. Not only is she persisting, in what seems like a never-ending battle, she inspired me - just today - to keep on keeping on. I was ready to quit. You see, after a few years of writing on the internet, Andrew Breitbart had not called me.

That's okay. Because of what Victoria happened to write, that I finally got to read and study - going to my Bible to read Psalm 26 - I'll just be satisfied in knowing that eventually God will give me vindication for even trying to be a "citizen journalist." Even if I only reach a few people... with a special message... "Don't Give Up!" I'm just sayin'...

When I first met Andrew in L.A., he told me that history would look back on me and smile, that I would be one of the influences that changed the landscape of Hollywood from 100 percent liberal to at least 50-50 … something to that effect. I puffed up with pride and pictured myself winning my third Oscar, shrugging my shoulders, thanking God and hearing whispers from the front row, "She's the reason I switched to conservative!" "Me, too!" "I just love President Palin!" "I just got born again!" At the Vanity Fair party, Sean Penn sidles up to me and purrs into my ear, "Conservative women are so much sexier," and then Susan Sarandon says, "I always knew you were smart!"

Well, I'm pretty much banned from Hollywood right now, so I don't know exactly when that dream will come true, but …

Andrew was a liberal and he switched. That's why his story is interesting to me.

It was funny that I ran into Andrew this week at the First Coast Tea Party in Jacksonville, Fla., because it was his book release day, and I was there the day Andrew thought of the title to his book! It was July 2, 2010. I looked very fat that day. It was Troopathon. I was doing handstands, tap dancing and making a fool of myself in an attempt to raise money for the soldiers, our heroes. Andrew was on his Blackberry as usual, clicking, reading, thinking and texting … saving the world.

On the way to my second tea-party speech, in '09, I asked Breitbart if it was philosophically correct if I called the president a communist. "People admit he's a Marxist, and Marx wrote the Communist Manifesto, so what's the difference?" After a long pause, Andrew said, "Victoria, say whatever you want to say." I took that as permission, so I started publicly discussing the state of our union in this simplest way I could, explaining our sudden government takeover and dying middle class. We smelled a new scent in the air – fear – a realization that our freedoms were disappearing and none of us knew how to explain it, let alone stop it.

God help us … please! ~ By Pat Boone

Friend, are you not feeling the earthquake right under our feet, threatening everything we are and have?

Perversely, our very liberties, our tolerance and protection for religious expression, are being used against us to weaken and destroy our foundations.

Most alarmingly, our president, raised by Muslim fathers and taught Islamic tenets in his early and impressionable years in Indonesia, seems to think America can work with the Muslim Brotherhood, with Director of Intelligence James Clapper claiming the organization is "largely secular."

Is it possible, even credible, that he thinks the Brotherhood can be like the Benevolent Order of Elks or our Rotary Clubs? That they will "fundamentally transform" themselves into the direct opposite of all they've stood for these last 80 years? Is this another example of "never hearing" the rants of his preacher, Jeremiah Wright?

Pat Boone, probably inspired by the horrendous earthquake in Japan, uses an earthquake that he had experienced in 1994 in California to illustrate the idea that "[t]he foundations of our nation are being shaken to the core." Pat's commentary primarily focuses on the Muslim Brotherhood. It is right here in America! Pat asks, "are you not feeling the earthquake right under our feet, threatening everything we are and have?"

At the end of the column, Pat recommends "a visit to frontpagemag.com, to obtain some earthquake knowledge and insurance, while there's still time." Of course, I took him up on that suggestion, and found myself surfing through the site only to find another interesting site, called "DiscoverTheNetworks.org, A Guide to the Political Left."

As Pat endorsed the visit to frontpagemag.com, I would
also like to suggest a visit to both of the sites. They are chock full of great information, not just about the Muslim Brotherhood, but also includes a database on DiscoverTheNetwork.org about such actors as George Soros, and much more.

I was just thinking that DiscoverTheNetworks.org would seem to be a great resource for somebody like Glenn Beck, when I found this video of Glenn's endorsement of the site:

I must be psychic, I tell ya! Just sayin'...

If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?

– Psalms 11:3

I live in California. I've only been through one gigantic earthquake, the one in 1994. It's the last one I ever want to experience.

It was about 4:30 am in Beverly Hills; wife Shirley and I were asleep in our bedz … when it seemed the whole world was suddenly coming apart – over, around and beneath us. There was a cavernous roar, the house was trying to shake apart, glass was falling from every shelf, the floor seemed everywhere like a huge skateboard. It seemed like the end of the world.

In the first few seconds, Shirley was screaming, "Pat! OH GOD! Help us!" As I met her at foot of the bed in the dark chaos, I kept trying to assure her we'd be OK, and I held her tight as we rode out a minute or two in the doorway of our bedroom, quoting Scriptures and praying aloud. After about three minutes of nightmarish upheaval, the quake quieted momentarily, and we made it out the front door, fully expecting to see our two story house cave in behind us.

Thankfully, it didn't. Our house and its contents were spared much of the more horrible destruction that others experienced, but we'll never, ever forget what that earthquake was like. There was nothing reliable to hold on to; even the ceiling might fall on us (as our waving chimney tried to), and the floor might open up and send us heaving into a newly open chasm beneath us. We couldn't call authorities to help us, and what could they do anyway? It was like an antechamber to hell.

Well, my friend, I may be sharing some similar feelings with you right now, as we look at what's happening in and around the United States of America.

The foundations of our nation are being shaken to the core. A government that was intended, as Lincoln proclaimed, to be "of the people, by the people and for the people" has degenerated into a largely unresponsive, irresponsible self-serving and self-perpetuating machine, led by a clique of far-left socialistic "progressives" who intend to control virtually everything, and who will dictate to the people what they can and cannot do.

And while our very constitutional foundations are being shaken and sometimes just willfully ignored, we are being assaulted and infiltrated by a religious ideology that seeks world domination, and is, by its scriptures and directives attributed to its prophetic forebears, commissioned to convert, subjugate – or kill – every last person on earth. This ideology already has over a billion adherents, and it is growing in our bowels daily.

Patriotism ~ Video by MaKaElectric

Do you want to know what I learned today? I'm not alone. No, make that, WE'RE NOT ALONE!

Earlier today, I posted some profound commentaries by the likes of Pat Boone, Greg Laurie, and Chuck Norris on one of my other blogs. Believe me, if Pat, Greg and Chuck weren't on top of things and great writers to boot, they wouldn't be writing for WorldNetDaily.com. They are patriots, just like people such as Phil Elmore, Erik Rush, and Henry Lamb. We can learn from these folks that have such great talent to be able to tell us the story about what WE the people stand for.

Quite frankly, there are people out there that want to destroy America so that we have to lose our sovereignty... and that will lead to the loss of our freedom. It leads me to want to do what ever I can do to try to teach those that will actually listen to little-known people like me, or the great patriot whose video I am going to share with you.

I have to tell you, there's not a whole lot of difference between the guy that does the video I am sharing with you here, and our heroes like Glenn Beck or Rush Limbaugh. The message is the same, and it should mean as much to you as any of the best Beck or Limbaugh speeches. Just sayin'...

Other huge spills to worry about ~ By Pat Boone

For some reason, this column seemed to be on the depressing side. Could it be that these things that are going on make us feel rather helpless? For those disasters that are "acts of God," we can't do much, but at least we can always pray. But, when we leave things to the government or a big corporation, and they either don't know how to solve it or they just aren't trying hard enough, there isn't much we as individuals can do about it. Well, at least not until November and we could at least begin changing who is running things in Congress. And that we CAN also pray about. Just sayin'...

These floods, these gushing disasters, aren't "acts of God." They're acts of men who are determined to ignore and defy God.

Just as you can't "mess with Mother Nature"… you simply cannot defy God and win. What will it take to convince us?

As I write this, 45 days have gone by while up to 44 million gallons of precious high-grade crude oil have gushed into the Gulf of Mexico from the ocean floor.

It's a catastrophe of indefinable proportions. Indefinable because there's absolutely no end in sight. Unless some as yet unknown remedy occurs, the best estimate is that the unprecedented rupture and devastation will continue virtually unabated till at least August – and could well flow into next year, until … who knows? Who can really say?

It's nature unleashed, as unstoppable and uncontrollable as a hurricane, a tornado, an earthquake, a crippling drought, a rampaging flood. All these things are classified by insurance companies as "acts of God." But this holocaust in the Gulf is entirely a manmade disaster. We can't blame this one on God.

Nor can we blame Him for the surging flood of illegal immigration across our borders in the last several years. Congress and the president seem as powerless and answerless regarding this tidal wave as they are for the vastly destructive gusher in the Gulf. They posture and proclaim and appoint commissions and threaten legal action, against Arizona and 14 other states that can no longer wait for the government to do its job in securing our borders to "insure domestic tranquility" and "provide for the common defense" – the federal government's very reason to exist, as disclosed in the first sentence of its Constitution.

But they've come up with no solutions.

Both these mounting disasters are wholly due to man's fiddling with laws – the laws of nature and the laws of our nation.

Both are costing billions in damages and expenses, and both will cost billions more to correct. So far, 76,000 square miles of federal waters are closed to fishing in and around the Gulf. Nobody knows how far this contagion will spread, or what the costs in sea life and commerce will be. But the environmental/economic damage is, and will continue to be, monumental.

Likewise, in California and Arizona alone, illegals in both states have directly added billions to annual taxpayer burdens for medical and educational benefits not allocated because they're claimed by non-citizens. Across the nation, this largely unchecked spillage across our porous borders is bringing state after state to the edge of bankruptcy – and this isn't counting the escalating costs of drug traffic, theft, rapes, kidnapping, murders and other crimes many illegals bring with them.

As with the laws of nature, when you ignore and try to get around the laws of a nation, serious blows are dealt to the structure and security of that nation.

Lately, I've heard loud but intellectually lame defenses for the 14 million or more illegals who have penetrated and infiltrated their way into our country. "Hey, some pay taxes, they do jobs Americans don't want to do, they buy things and contribute to our economy. So it's a wash! It all equals out, sort of. …"

So forget our laws, forget the criminality of it all. And also forget the established fact that the untaxed money illegals are sending back home constitutes Mexico's second-largest source of revenue! "It all equals out" is a falsehood. The whole thing is more disastrous to our teetering economy than the Gulf gusher is to its environment. And more destructive to the legal structure of America.

Meanwhile, in Washington, an uncontrolled gigantic gusher of unprecedented proportion has erupted in the halls of Congress, spilling across the land and drowning business, banking and commerce, routing millions out of their homes and jobs and threatening to bring America itself to the edge of bankruptcy!

It's an irrational, inexcusable explosion of spending and taxation, of mounting debt and irresponsible printing of billions and billions in worthless paper, literally selling our country to anybody willing to buy our debt.

An inexperienced and socialism-indoctrinated president and his little White House clique, having bought into the idea that "you never want a serious crisis to go to waste [because] you can do things that you think you could not do before," have used the Democratic Congress to ram several trillions of increased debt and entitlements onto the backs of temporarily defenseless taxpayers. This they did while the citizens themselves were yelling to their "representatives" that they did not approve or want all this perpetrated on them and their children.

Hey, this Cato Institute is doing something! ~ By Pat Boone

Hmmm.... This was not an easy column to write an intro for. Thanks a lot, Pat, you made me have to think a little harder than usual. But that's okay, because I may have learned a few things in the process.

So, as Pat wrote about the Cato Institute, I was wondering, what was his purpose? That was my main question. Within his commentary, Pat reminds us of this important fact: "This train called America is our train, we own and run it, and the engineer is our employee – it's not the other way around!" And further, Pat tells us that the Cato Institute "is leading the fight against the explosion of government growth." Edward Crane, President and founder of the Cato Institution, says:

...we're hardly 'hunkered down' – or alone. In fact, I have never seen our side more energized and clear-eyed in its commitment to reclaim our liberties and our government from the statists and redistributionists who infest our nation's capital.
And, who is "our side"? The Tea Party Movement, "the still-large majority of Americans who revere the Constitution and abhor big, intrusive an oppressive government." Pat goes on to mention that "Cato literally exists to further the kind of awakening exemplified in the tea-party rallies and marches – and in raucous town-hall meetings politicians increasingly fear to hold."

So, there you go. That is what Pat's column was about. Cato Institute is helping to awake Americans, and sets the example for what you and I need to keep on doing, just like I am doing on this blog... and I'm not even a think tank! Just sayin'...

Our citizens by the millions are demonstrating a growing grass-roots resistance to regimentation and governance by coercion and connivance, and this is terribly upsetting to Rahm Emanuel. Hallelujah!

Are you as frustrated as I am about the constant deluge of bad news, revelations of corruption and negligence and overreaching in government, the growing impression that we're on an out-of-control course, like Ozzy Osbourne's "Crazy Train"?

Are you deeply concerned that an ultra-liberal, even leftist or socialist cabal in and around the White House is binding America with unpayable debt, unreasonable entitlements and unacceptable alterations in everything from education to health care to defense to energy supply? That the sacred Constitution is being shoved aside and misinterpreted by activist judges, from the bottom of the judicial system all the way up to the Supreme Court?

With the presidency and both houses of Congress under the thrall of people who proudly want to "fundamentally transform the United States of America," isn't it increasingly bothersome to you that you seem to have precious little to say about all this?

When up to 80 percent of polled Americans say they want to keep health care the way it has been – and our elected representatives, our "public servants," conspire openly to cram the unwanted policy into law and down our throats – doesn't that leave you wondering, as I have been, whatever happened to "We The People"?

Aside from the valiant media soldiers at Fox News, some talk-radio broadcasters and informative websites like this one, is there anybody doing anything to sound the alarms and apply the brakes on this runaway train?

Yes! Yes, there are some bodies, organizations, fellowships and activist think tanks confronting the engineer of this out-of-control administration train and alerting the passengers to get up and reassert control. This train called America is our train, we own and run it, and the engineer is our employee – it's not the other way around!

If we're going to change this destructive, ominous direction, we must be an aroused, informed, determined, organized … and even a sacrificing citizenry. Just being upset, and grousing and complaining, won't change anything.

In the late 1700s, aroused and persuasive patriots like Thomas Paine called effectively to our forefathers, spurring them to heroic action, which resulted in the formation of our republic. Samuel Adams led like-minded men to oppose oppression and even revolt against the armed oppressors, at great cost but greater victory. And you know, hopefully, about George Washington, Ben Franklin, John Adams and James Monroe.

After the dust settled and a new and vibrant nation was born, Thomas Jefferson warned, "Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty."

I want to shine a spotlight on one of the several patriotic groups that are performing today like these forefathers of ours did – the Cato Institute.

George Will said of the organization, "The Cato Institute is the foremost upholder of the idea of liberty in the nation."

Thankfully, there are other think tanks that might lay claim to that accolade, but Cato is at or near the top of the list. The University of Pennsylvania's index of "Global Go-To Think Tanks" ranks Cato fifth in the world. And a 2009 survey commissioned by Foreign Policy magazine of nearly 1,800 think tanks in America listed Cato among the top 10 overall and No. 1 in the category for "Top Think Tanks for Innovative Ideas."

Cato is a public-policy research organization, guided by the principles that animated the founders of this great nation. The distinguished University of Pennsylvania historian, Alan Kors, sees think tanks as a "market response to the intellectual conformity and stagnation in most American universities." In too, too many cases, our colleges are turning out mental robots, not truly educated, openminded and inquiring learners. But when confronted with incontrovertible facts and logical thought – many of these intelligent and potentially influential men and women can see the light.

The light of truth.

An alarm went off, loud and clear, when Barack Obama's chief of staff let slip the strategy behind the health-care power grab when he declared you should "never let a serious crisis go to waste. It's an opportunity to do things that you think you could not do before." Since then, in a shocking display of arrogance and cunning, this administration has created an unfathomable level of "crisis"-related spending that will create at least $1 trillion of deficits per year, for the next decade.

As Cato has revealed, "The total potential federal government support could reach up to $23.7 trillion," according to Neil Barofsky, the special inspector general for the TARP program. Do you think the liberal media are going to report this to us? How can a citizenry protect itself when it doesn't have the real facts?

Bloomberg News, an objective media source, stated last December, "The few remaining limited-government types are hunkered down at Washington's Cato Institute."

Felipe Calderon's blatant hypocrisy ~ By Pat Boone

Pat Boone writes about the Mexican President's sheer hypocrisy when it comes to Mexico's immigrations laws. Below is the Wolf Blitzer interview with Calderon as seen on CNN's The Situation Room that Pat refers to in his column:

Video provided by radiovice

Calderon and Mexico are experiencing their own brand of "tea party," the grass-roots population-wide revolt against their government and oppression and corruption. But, instead of our Constitution-based, peaceful and electoral tea party, theirs is a veritable witches' brew of crime, violence, drug traffic – and the wholesale illegal departure of 15 million of their citizens desperate to escape to something better.

Mr. Calderon, go back to your own country and keep trying to clean up your own house. We Americans are about to clean up ours at the polls. Our tea party is "We the People."

Mexican President Felipe Calderon has been making a big splash here lately. I'm wondering if our authorities checked his credentials when he entered the country. Probably not … racial profiling and all that, you know.

But the major news channels all dutifully trumpeted and broadcast his address to Congress, in which he lectured America on how we should conduct our immigration policy. After complimenting us on our history and standing in the world, he stated emphatically his disapproval of Arizona's recent announcement that the state will more strictly enforce our immigration laws. He paraphrased President Obama's earlier remarks about the Arizona stance not being reflective of America's moral code and ethical standards.

You may have seen the reaction on TV: Speaker Pelosi jumped to her feet and applauded wildly, at which the whole left side of the hall (the Democratic side) also stood and applauded, while the whole right side (the Republican side, of course) sat stolid and non-approving – much the same reaction as that of our Supreme Court justices when Obama chided them in front of the world for a decision he disagreed with.

Even without any approval or support from the right side of Congress, I'm sure both presidents were gratified by their mutual support of each other and Calderon's lecturing statements, which would immediately and repeatedly be spread abroad by the obedient media.

But amazingly, the Mexican president, after a congratulatory visit to the White House, granted one in-person TV interview, with Wolf Blitzer of CNN.

He probably deeply regrets doing that now.

To his great credit, Blitzer really pinned Calderon down on his own country's immigration policies and enforcement of its laws. Blitzer had actually read Mexico's laws – which have been, and are, far tougher on illegals entering their country than America's are on illegals here!

They've never been a secret. Surely you, like I, have read the horror stories about Americans stranded in Mexico after money and passports were lost or stolen. About the extortion by authorities, and imprisonments in notorious Mexican jails and, in the last several years, the disappearance and murders of visitors by rampant criminal gangs.

I remember several fact-based TV movies about tourists being extricated from prisons in Mexico, once by a heroic helicopter rescue. Even our government has advised against "spring break" visits to Mexico by exuberant American college students – because of real dangers caused by rampant lawlessness, corruption, drug cartels and renegade gangs, armed to the teeth and threatening even to Mexican law enforcement.

But it's being more widely revealed and known now: MEXICO'S IMMIGRATION LAWS ARE MUCH, MUCH TOUGHER ON ILLEGALS THAN AMERICA'S. (emphasis my own) And in his interview with Blitzer, Calderon – stammering at times, looking for the right words – had to admit it.

What are some of the provisions of Mexican immigration law?
  • Immigrants must speak Mexico's language.
  • No bilingual programs in schools, no special ballots for elections, all government business must be conducted in Spanish.
  • Foreigners will never be able to hold political office.
  • Foreigners will not have the right to vote no matter how long they're in Mexico; Article 33 states, "Foreigners may not in any way participate in the political affairs of the country."
  • Mexican authorities are ordered to keep track of every single person in the country.
  • Foreigners will not be a burden to taxpayers. No welfare, no food stamps, no health care or other government assistance programs.
  • Foreigners with fake papers, or who enter the country under false pretenses, may be imprisoned.
  • Foreigners who fail to obey the rules will be fined, deported, and/or imprisoned as felons.
  • A Mexican who marries a foreigner with the sole objective of helping the foreigner live in the country is subject to up to five years in prison.
Basically, and undeniably, under Mexican law, illegal immigration is (a crime). The General Law of Population says: "A penalty of up to two years in prison and a fine of three hundred to five thousand pesos will be imposed on the foreigner who enters the country illegally." (Article 123)

The battle is joined ~ By Pat Boone

Pat Boone talks about the wars going on. Not just the wars overseas, but the spiritual war that faces America. Pat alludes to the fact that we need to "pick a side," and one of those sides is spiritual.
You don't think Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan's stance against "don't ask, don't tell" and other "progressive" personal views have influenced his nominating her? His chief string-puller, Rahm Emanuel, meant it when he said, "Never let a crisis go to waste"; you think they'd let an historic opportunity to put a "progressive" like themselves on the Supreme Court go to waste?

More and more, as dismal and regrettable as it is, it's "us against them." It's traditional Americans, tea partiers, conservatives, hard-working families and most Christians and Jews – all having to actively oppose people that were elected to be our "public servants" and to represent our established dictates and values.

There can be no spiritual Switzerland. No neutrality. You're on one side or the other. You organize and take part and register and vote, determined with millions of us to take our government back. Or we'll all get what we deserve – a socialist, soulless, European-style humanistic, oppressively taxing, Big Brother government.

Let's not pussyfoot; let's say it plain, without equivocation: We're at war.

Yes, we're in a global military conflict again, on foreign soil. Once again, we've stepped into battles involving centuries-old animosities, and are sacrificing American lives in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan. We're trying to defend America's interests while we cope with ancient hatreds and violence and evil intentions that have little to do with us. It's costing us a fortune in dollars and an incalculable cost in lives and resource.

But that's just one battlefield in the war. We're fighting for our survival on many fronts. Including at home, in our streets and neighborhoods.

For most of our existence as a nation, the United States has been the pre-eminent economy in the world. The dollar has been the standard against which all other currencies are valued. And now, in just a few years and a through a couple of administrations, we are clearly being over-obligated and driven toward irreversible bankruptcy.

The Fed is printing paper money like toilet tissue, as fast as the printing presses can go, creating billions of pieces of currency backed by … what? Mainly implicit promises that American taxpayers will find some way to pay off the debts, rebuild our fractured economic structure and magically instill new value to the paper.

And, from the White House and the clique controlling its policies, come more announcements of more spending – billions and billions on new government programs and bailouts of Greece and several other countries, and the inevitable likelihood of ever more taxes for Americans. All without any consent of the taxpayers themselves, from whom the trillions must come.

Friend, our government has no money of its own. It has to print more worthless paper or take it from you and me. We're at war, economically, with our own government!

And on the education front, in our courts and all along our porous borders, other battles are raging that literally will determine the survival of the America you and I inherited. Traditional, long-cherished values and principles are under continual assault from "progressive" teachers unions; and in our cities large and small, gangs and drug dealers run rampant, peopled in many cases by illegal aliens. Too many jurists feel they can create new law, personally favoring special groups or societal trends.

And now our president has nominated a new Supreme Court justice. She hasn't been a judge, and not much is known about her political views – other than her opposition, when she was dean of the Harvard Law School, to military recruitment on campus because she objected to the "don't ask, don't tell" law the military felt was necessary and fair.

Why is this another front in our present domestic war?

If you're not a tea partier … why not? ~ By Pat Boone

Okay, you only need to read this if you're not the kind of person that sees Obama's transformation of America, but believes that there's nothing you can do about it. If you believe the mainstream media lies, and their ridicule of the tea partiers, there's no reason for you to read Pat's column today. Only those of you that consider yourself patriots, and are not afraid to be libelously labeled as a terrorist and a racist, need to continue reading.
... You can do something about it. You can join with your neighbors, your fellow citizens, and work together to spread the facts, wake up our countrymen and mobilize the registration and 100 percent vote in each and every election.

You can seek out and support candidates who revere the Constitution, will actually represent those who elect them, and not dictate to them. You can invade and take over your local school boards and tell the teachers how you want your kids taught, not the other way around. It's still your country!

Join the tea partying! And let's reclaim America!

All the polls now show that, far from petering out and fading away, the phenomenon called the tea-party movement is growing, gaining momentum, stature and political clout every day.

This is particularly amazing when you realize that this "party" has no home base, no national or even titular leader, no billionaire support and no real coordinating organization. It's just a rapidly rising and vocal grass-roots activist reaction to the same crime that prompted the original American Revolution – taxation without representation.

The average American citizen is not as apathetic, ignorant, uninformed and disinterested as the leftist, "progressive" political opportunists thought.

For years now, as modern life for most citizens has become more diverse, pressured, distracted and uncertain; powerful – and power-hungry – forces have seized the opportunity to mold government into their image of what it should be. When an unknown, inexperienced but articulate Barack Obama rode into the White House, vowing openly to "radically transform America," the liberals felt they could now ride roughshod over the citizenry, disregard the constitutional limits on the branches of government and truly transform a democratic republic into a socialist Never Never Land.

In one short year, the Obama administration and the shadow figures surrounding and abetting it rammed through legislation piling trillions of dollars in unsustainable, unpayable debt on the already beleaguered taxpayers – and made promises and proposed other coming entitlements that would add trillions more.

They took control of two of the big three auto manufacturers, chose winners and losers among the biggest banking institutions, bailed out Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and threatened and cajoled lawmakers and insurance companies and hospital and medical suppliers into helping pass a trillion-dollar takeover of the health-care system in this country, thumbing their noses at the 60 to 80 percent of Americans who loudly didn't want it. All this while maintaining piously that this was "historic" and for the good of all Americans. The "right thing to do."

This new president, while always vowing to be "transparent," signed executive orders giving over $200 million to Planned Parenthood without so much as a "by your leave" to taxpayers, who've made it very plain they don't want to pay for abortions, and authorizing billions more in "foreign aid" to countries that oppose us at every turn. He apologized for America's "failing to live up to our ideals" and vowed he would stop our policies of "torture." He declared America is "no longer a Christian nation" and courted Arab favor in Egypt as he cited his great respect for and early acquaintance with Islam. Six months into his presidency, he quietly named June "Gay Pride Month" and all but ignored the National Day of Prayer.

He has increasingly insulted and tried to browbeat Israeli leaders, singlehandedly corrupting a relationship that has bound two allies together in championing democracy and liberty in the Middle East. He has shown much more regard for Hamas and its claims than the God-given right of Israel to live, prosper and defend its own soil.

And while all this has happened in broad daylight, over mounting and vociferous protest across the nation, his attitude and that of his advisers is like "Let 'em eat cake, while they can afford it. We know what's best for this country, and we're gonna use our congressional majority to do whatever we deem appropriate. We've waited a long time to gain this superiority – and a crisis is too good to waste."

But happily, America is still America. It's still the land of the free and the home of the brave. And now, NOW, is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country!

And that's what's happening, pure and simple. The political pundits, the liberal politicos, the cynical comedians, the soldout media, can't comprehend that an informed, aroused citizenry can still mobilize all by itself, locally, regionally and nationally – that millions and millions of ordinary folks can call each other, e-mail each other, rouse each other and come together to figure out how to take back their governance.

But it's happening, and it's gaining force, coming on strong, not weakening. I'm exuberantly part of it. Are you? If not – why not?

Christians, Jews, patriots: Arise, unite! ~ By Pat Boone

There is no doubt about it. People are starting to get it. Even some people that voted for our dear glorious leader, The One, are realizing that he isn't what they thought he would be! Now, they are wondering where we can go from here. As Pat says, we must arise and unite!

One way for us to arise and unite is by attending the Tea Party rallies. Increasing the numbers of people at the rallies may not sway the leaders in Washington, but it does give more people the courage to also attend.

And secondly, and most of all, just keep praying.

We who believe in God and His word still are a large majority in this country. Our best and only hope to recover what we're rapidly losing is to rally and unite under one banner, ONE NATION UNDER GOD.

"If My people who are called by my name humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." – 2 Chronicles 7:14

"I'm so embarrassed, Pat. I'm ashamed. I believed in the man and thought he'd be good for the country. Sure, I'm a Democrat, somewhat liberal, and felt it was time for an able black leader to be president. So I voted for Obama. But now that I see what he's doing to the country, to the economy, taking over banks and car companies, appointing these unconstitutional 'czars' to run everything, reporting not to Congress but to him, I'm afraid of what's going to happen to us. He seems more and more like a psychopath, delusional, but determined to ram all this down our throats, whether we like it or not.

"And now, he's lording it over Israel, telling them what he wants them to do, siding with her enemies, and seeming more and more like the Muslim he was raised to be. I love Israel as much as I love America – and he really doesn't seem to love either one.

"And I voted for him! I can't believe I didn't see the signs, didn't find out more about him and his complete lack of any real qualifications!"

The man saying these things to me is our family doctor, a real friend and a devout Jew. Every time we talk, he and his wife seem to be almost in shock, as each new day brings another revelation about the president's agenda, his "executive orders" circumventing due process, the spiraling deficits and new fantastic commitments to more spending for all kinds of liberal programs and entitlements that the United States simply cannot afford.

"Look," he said last night, "we didn't care for George Bush. We thought he was way over his head and couldn't seem to put two good sentences together. He ran the budget through the roof, too, and he's a Republican. So when this Illinois senator, well-spoken and obviously intelligent, talked about 'change' and 'transforming America,' we bought into it. We had no idea. I mean, we didn't know that much about him. The media didn't divulge much … but we wanted something better than what we had. And now we've got worse! This man thinks he's an emperor, a dictator, and nothing can stop him. The Congress seems afraid of him, or they've been bought off somehow. What are we gonna do? What can we do?"

This question is being asked by a dramatically growing number of Jewish Americans. And many of these are leaders, very influential in their respective professions; they are speaking out loudly, publicly and angrily.

Former New York Mayor Ed Koch, a prominent Jewish leader who supported Obama's campaign, expressed his outrage April 12, when he wrote: "I weep today because my president, Barack Obama, in a few weeks has changed the relationship between the U.S. and Israel from that of closest of allies to one in which there is an absence of trust on both sides.

"Our closest ally, the one with the special relationship with the U.S., has been demeaned and slandered, held responsible by the administration for our problems in Afghanistan and Iraq and elsewhere in the Middle East. The plan, I suspect, is to so weaken the resolve of the Jewish state and its leaders that it will be much easier to impose on Israel an American plan to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, leaving Israel's needs for security and defensible borders in the lurch.

"I believe President Obama's policy is to create a whole new relationship with the Arab states of Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt, and Iraq as a counter to Iran, the Tyrannosaurus Rex of the Muslim world, which we are now prepared to see in possession of a nuclear weapon.

"If throwing Israel under the bus is needed to accomplish this alliance, so be it."

Welcome to the Madoff economy ~ By Pat Boone

Pat talks about the similarity between the budget deficits and Bernie Madoff's Ponzi scheme.
You can't change gravity. And you cannot go on spending trillions of dollars you don't have, and just expect "everything to turn out all right." You can't solve human problems with worthless pieces of printed money, backed by nothing but wishes and impossible promises.

Thomas Jefferson warned, "Honor, justice, and humanity, forbid us tamely to surrender that freedom which we received from our gallant ancestors, and which our innocent posterity have a right to receive from us. We cannot endure the infamy and guilt of resigning succeeding generations to the wretchedness which inevitably awaits them, if we basely entail hereditary bondage upon them."

Citizens, this battle has been forced upon us. Let's get it on.

A little rebellion now and again is a good thing.

– Thomas Jefferson

Less than three weeks ago, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi cooed, "We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it."

Yes, she said that! Right out loud, on national TV. She indicated that she herself didn't know all that the 2,700-page health-care bill contained or mandated – but that she was determined to cram this atrocity down the throats of Americans, before they (or she) learned what it would contain or cost them.

There's a kind of wild ferocity in her manner. Oh, it's softly modulated, but absolutely determined, and nothing was going to deter her quest to deliver this prize for President Obama. Sounding for all the world like an earnest Avon lady selling you her products, she told every audience and the members of the House that this bill was not only patriotic, historic and needed – but would decrease the deficit! And you could have sworn she actually believed it.

She wanted all of us to believe that, having added almost $3 trillion to our national debt, with no one to pay it but us beaten down taxpayers, somehow this monstrosity was going to magically reduce itself! That the American public should rejoice with her that virtually all 300 million of us were going to have fabulous health care, courtesy of the government, including 14 or 15 million illegal aliens and several million others who actually don't want it. And that her Congress could take $500 billion out of Medicare while it tried to serve the 30 million more baby boomers who are entitled to it … and that over 10 years this scheme would result in over a trillion dollars in savings.

I'd like to ask the speaker how she would feel about the following scenario. I don't know her net worth, but am reliably informed that she and her husband might be worth 30 or 40 million dollars, conservatively. So, one morning she learns that a Republican Congress has enacted a giant bill that compels her to accept a $200 million personal indebtedness, and she can't do anything about it. But the good news: This debt will enable the government to extend all kinds of goodies to aliens and homeless and some welfare recipients who haven't even tried to work in years – won't she be deliriously happy about this?

The money is going to such a good and noble cause, and the Congress promises that in 10 years or less, her debt will somehow decrease to only $150 million. And everybody knows how efficient and dependable the government is with the programs it manages. Do you think Lady Speaker would keep her motherly composure and earnest compassion, finding out that her long-cherished $40 million fortune was absorbed into a $200 million debt?

Well, that's what has happened to every American citizen as this gigantic, preposterous bill has been railroaded through a Democratic Congress and signed into law by an inexperienced president determined to "save his presidency," no matter what.

Political autism ~ By Pat Boone

Pat Boone brings up the point that what the politicians in are doing Washington seems to be very similar to autism. Meanwhile, it's almost like this country has slipped through a portal into an alternate reality, a parallel universe, and Nancy Pelosi was just an automaton robot...
In a recent turn – with a wide-eyed, spooky stare and a mechanical, unnatural smile – she's been cooing, "Just help us pass this bill, and we'll all find out what's in it!" Yes, she said that exactly, and it's almost as if she's admonishing in a maternal way, "Children, just drink this Kool-Aid, and you'll find out eventually what's in it – it's good for you."

Autism is a tragic malady.

I became acquainted with it some years ago. My middle two daughters, both Lindy and Debby, when they graduated from high school, decided to take a break from school – they volunteered to work at Hathaway Ranch, a wonderful retreat and day-care center for kids with learning disabilities, including autism.

They came home after long days at Hathaway, sometimes buoyed and excited about some breakthrough with one or more of the kids they were working with, but more often weepy and heartbroken about the autistic kids.

"Daddy," they'd say, "these children are beautiful. They're intelligent, they look like the other kids, and they're physically healthy, just wonderful. But … they seem to be in some other world. They don't – it seems they can't – really focus on what we're trying to tell them, what we want them to do. Sometimes it's as if we don't exist. Some of the kids don't even look at us, and they don't want to be touched. Most seem to like doing certain things, but only their way, and no matter what anybody else is doing. We just can't seem to get through to them, no matter what we try."

And quite often, they'd shed tears over the seeming hopelessness of it all.

There was one hopeful breakthrough, though. Debby remembered a conversation we'd had about people's names and how ordinary common names usually have some meaning, some indication of a character trait. My name, for example, Charles Eugene Boone, means "well born man of blessing." (Don't ask why I've always been called "Pat"; that's another story.)

So she got hold of a book of people's names and their inherent meanings. And she experimented with telling some of her little charges what their names meant. And while it didn't happen quickly, as she'd repeat the meaning of their own names to the young kids at Hathaway, she established a rapport, and then a more open relationship. It seemed that hearing for the first time that their names indicated some value, sort of a promised or expected quality, maybe even a future, some of the kids made more of an effort to connect with Debby and to try to exhibit what their names indicated.

Popular actress Jenny McCarthy has just released a book about her previously autistic son – and the amazing progress she's had in bringing him out of the fog and separation of his malady through controlling his diet. Having come to the conclusion that he'd been adversely affected as a baby by some of the normal immunization shots, she put him on a new and stringent organic health diet – which she credits for his being now perfectly normal! The book is gripping and hopeful, and may point the way to real breakthroughs in treating this awful imprisonment named autism. My daughters and I congratulate Jenny and thank God for her son's new life.

My point here? I see striking parallels in our current political scene, today.

Whatever the cause (and I think I've diagnosed it), many of our elected leaders in Congress are behaving as if they've contracted a kind of "political autism." They seem strangely divorced from reality, out of touch with the people who elected them, unable to think rationally. They've collectively abandoned common sense and embarked on some wildly unreasonable courses, seemingly oblivious to the protests and outcries of a majority of American citizens, the very people whom they swore to represent and whose security and well-being they pledged to protect.

Even faced with dire consequences to their own futures and the very future of this country they profess to love, they are on the verge of saddling all of us with unimaginable, unprecedented, un-repayable debt, threatening to drive the United States of America into bankruptcy and economic ruin.

When sensible people try to show these "public servants" that they're plunging all of us over a precipice to financial destruction, they respond (if they even do respond) that they're "doing this for our good," that they're "giving us what we need, and all deserve," that we should honor them for signing into law a massive takeover of our whole health-care system, and that once it's enacted we'll all get to find out what's in this 2,700-page monstrosity of a bill, which even those voting on it can't understand, and many haven't bothered or had the opportunity to read.

New paradigm – conservatives vs. progressives ~ By Pat Boone

Okay, after reading this great column today, I would have to say that I'm pretty sure that Pat Boone must be watching or listening to Glenn Beck. He knows and understands a great deal about what I've learned about the Progressive movement that began in the late 19th Century. So, it is my hope that this post will help many people be aware of the Conservative vs. Progressive paradigm. This is vitally important information!
The new phenomenon, the new paradigm in politics, is no longer the political party. For the most part, it's the widening gap between conservatives and "progressives." Conservatives in both parties (and many in no party) are beginning to roar, to become aware of the trends and to demand a return to the U.S. Constitution as our political bible. "Progressives," as they call themselves – including the president, Secretary of State Clinton, John McCain's daughter and the majority of liberal Democrats – are clamoring for "social justice," "redistribution of wealth" and government control of virtually everything, so that all inhabitants, even illegal aliens, have "rights" to education, health care, retirement benefits, vacations, housing, creature comforts and most everything – except individual liberty.

Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world. But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come.

Then you will be arrested, persecuted, and killed. You will be hated all over the world because you are my followers. And many will turn away from me and betray and hate each other.

And many false prophets will appear and will deceive many people. Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold.

– Jesus in Matthew 24, describing society before the end comes

Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons. These people are hypocrites and liars, and their consciences are dead.

– the Apostle Paul in 1 Timothy 4, doing the same thing
A very big majority of the American people believe the Bible is the inspired Word of the Living God. They – I should say "we" – believe devoutly that God knows all things, including what the future holds for all of us. And He cares enough to give us definite warning signs about the windup of human history.

When Jesus' closest disciples asked Him specifically about what would signify the coming end of all things, He gave them the above signs, among many others. Surely I'm not alone in seeing all of these things happening now, and in increasing frequency.

And yes, I'm aware that in these and other well-known passages, Jesus is speaking primarily about spiritual corruption and decadence and immorality. But those things aren't confined to church circles, among former Bible believers. Corruption and decay are contagious; they spread everywhere, and they create rot wherever they gain entrance – certainly including politics, government, the economy and popular culture.

In fact, I see this contagion creeping like a plague into every area of modern life.

A tidal wave of immorality is sweeping through what we still call "entertainment." Anybody who watches TV in the evening will find it difficult, if not impossible, to find something that can pass as "family" fare. Almost every show, drama or comedy, is devoted constantly to the sordid, the immoral, the deviant, the violent and, increasingly, the intentionally horrifying. Demons and devils and vampires are "the in thing," and teenagers are making idols of the young actors who portray them. Same with the movies that we frequent, we honor, we make profitable and export to the rest of the world.

Time-honored guidelines, moral traditions, social taboos – all have just about evaporated, not even considered much anymore. Scandals and revelations and shattered images are so commonplace, in virtually every area of life, that we forget them almost as soon as they occur. Marriage itself, as a compact between a man and a woman, is under incessant attack, and over half of adult women in America aren't married now anyway!

The biggest teachers unions are promoting the tolerance and acceptance of homosexuality, right down into grade school, where our kids shouldn't even be thinking about anything like that. Why? Because union officials who think like President Obama's "safe school czar," Kevin Jennings, are determined that all the old taboos against sexual aberrance must be erased, and that our children must grow up without any reservations about anything sexual – possibly including pedophilia.

More and more, the old distinctions like Democrat and Republican seem meaningless. It's harder and harder to tell the two apart in terms of policy, representation of the people, loyalty to their oaths and behavior in Washington. The political platforms are largely determined by reading polls and research about how the people are likely to vote – and not by reasoned moral and constitutional priorities. There are exceptions, of course, and thankfully, there are still men and women who put conscience and morality and right thinking above political expediency, and they're still trying to make government really responsive to the needs and desires of the people who elected them. But they're like salmon swimming upstream against the tide of sellouts – whether confused or opportunistic – in both parties.
