Welcome to this edition of Time 2 Escape WIFLI Brief!

What is WIFLI?
You may be wondering what the acronym "WIFLI" means. I started out by calling these issues the Time 2 Escape Daily, but that didn't work out very well. I quickly learned that putting these issues together on a daily basis was a task I was unable to accomplish. To replace "Daily" in the title, I borrowed the acronym WIFLI, which literally means "When I Feel Like It." Putting together a post on this blog WIFLI works much better for my schedule, and for the higher quality of each issue that is eventually published!

No, I'm not gone yet.  I'm not done yet.

The government hasn't come to take me away, ...yet.

There is an advantage to being just one little citizen journalist, too tiny to see, able to fly under the radar...so far.

I open this briefing with the above words, because I am wondering how long it may be that I have the opportunity to keep paying it forward for the liberty of our children and grandchildren.

No, I had a slight physical affliction that affected my productivity in the last two weeks, and will soon have another medical procedure done on me that will prevent me from doing much here in April (2012). I don't like it much when I can not perform up to the standards that I expect from myself.

I read an incredible edition of Ralph Marston's Daily Motivator during my "down time" that did keep my inspiration high, and at least kept me hoping for a quick recovery. I knew this was a quote that should be spread far and wide in order to keep the love of liberty going:

Most of the work of achievement is done when no one is paying attention. Those who achieve, do the work even though it is difficult, demanding, tedious and far from glamorous.

More often than not, even the most impressive results come from plenty of plain old, ordinary hard work. It’s not extraordinary talent that distinguishes achievers, but rather an extraordinary level of commitment to getting the work done.

It was pretty much an exercise of torture for me, like water-boarding, when I knew that I had so much to say, but was physically unable to just do the ordinary, let alone, the extraordinary. But at least I was able to go through the motions by determining the content I wanted to include in this issue.

Just don't freak out when my next absence occurs in the first part of April 2012. It can't be helped, but I do believe that we will somehow endure another lengthy time of inactivity here on the Time 2 Escape blog. I will, however, have some of "my people" keeping me advised of what needs to be included in the next issue that you will see here. One of those friends has already contributed to this briefing, and I owe a lot of gratitude to that individual.

I also owe some fist bumps to the Anonymous person that wrote a comment on my previous blog post. I don't get a lot of comments here, but one that was written made a lot of sense. It may explain a lot about our culture. and what you will read in this post that Paul Harvey talked about, that we have a short attention span. If that's the case, folks, we're going to lose. We need to focus, even if we can only do just a little bit every day. Just keep in mind the wise words of Ralph Marston, that "the most impressive results come from plenty of plain old, ordinary hard work. It’s not extraordinary talent that distinguishes achievers, but rather an extraordinary level of commitment to getting the work done."  

Sometimes, we have to just be happy to take one bite of the elephant at a time. It's a long process. The Commies (Progressives) took just a 100 years to accomplish their goals here in America.  I'm just sayin'...

The Vetting - Holder 1995: We Must 'Brainwash' People on Guns

Breitbart.com has uncovered video from 1995 of then-U.S. Attorney Eric Holder announcing a public campaign to "really brainwash people into thinking about guns in a vastly different way."

Holder was addressing the Woman's National Democratic Club. In his remarks, broadcast by CSPAN 2, he explained that he intended to use anti-smoking campaigns as his model to "change the hearts and minds of people in Washington, DC" about guns.

"What we need to do is change the way in which people think about guns, especially young people, and make it something that's not cool, that it's not acceptable, it's not hip to carry a gun anymore, in the way in which we changed our attitudes about cigarettes."

Holder added that he had asked advertising agencies in the nation's capital to assist by making anti-gun ads rather than commercials "that make me buy things that I don't really need." He had also approached local newspapers and television stations, he said, asking them to devote prime space and time, respectively, to his anti-gun campaign.

Holder's Brainwashing Against Guns Foreshadowed Operation Fast and Furious

Yesterday, Breitbart.com revealed exclusive video of then-U.S. Attorney Eric Holder speaking to the Woman’s National Democratic Club, stating that he wanted to “brainwash” people against gun ownership.

The video reveals Attorney General Holder’s early, consistent, and strident enthusiasm for gun control legislation. He wanted schools to talk about anti-gun propaganda “every day, every school, and every level."

ATTY GENERAL ERIC HOLDER

Operation Fast and Furious -- in which Holder’s Department of Justice (DOJ) smuggled guns illegally to Mexican drug cartels -- could finally have provided Holder the material for that anti-gun curriculum.

On December 7, 2011, CBS News investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson (who is the only one in the mainstream media faithfully reporting this story) shared documents proving that the motive behind Operation Fast & Furious was to implement harsher gun regulations.

Ms. Attkisson reported that Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) officials within the DOJ discussed using the illegal gun sales to justify “Demand Letter 3,” which would require some gun shops to report the sales of multiple rifles or long guns.

Each new revelation pushes Operation Fast and Furious up the chain of command and provides more evidence that it was to be used for more gun control.

The mainstream media tends to trickle out small bits of narrative as a story goes on. However, the first impression is the one that seems to prevail, just like when we meet new people. Our collective sentiment builds up to a point of no return, based on the initial elements of the story that we hear and see, over and over again.

But thanks to the new media - the citizen journalists - you will now find out more about a story which shatters the initial media spin of some kind of aggravated hate crime, where an innocent young black man was shot in cold blood because he was wearing a hoodie.

From this story: "Most media accounts of the story suggest Martin was walking down the street minding his own business when he was shot without provocation by Zimmerman." We learn, though, that it didn't really go down that way.  I'm just wondering now if the New Black Panthers will put a bounty on my head, too, for letting you know about this?

Maybe George Zimmerman did act in self-defense when he shot and killed Trayvon Martin, whose death Feb. 26 in Sanford, Florida, has been the focus of a media and political circus that even included Barack Obama weighing in this week.

An eyewitness to the incident told police Martin was beating Zimmerman before he shot him.

Zimmerman had called 911 to report the suspicious activities of a youth in his neighborhood, telling the dispatcher that he was following Martin.

On the recording of another 911 call, repeated cries of “help” can be heard before the gunshot.

The witness, identified only as John, says those cries were made by Zimmerman who was on the ground being beaten by Martin.

“The guy on the bottom who had a red sweater on was yelling to me: ‘help, help … and I told him to stop and I was calling 911,” he said.

The White House’s late-week release of an executive order has sent the online community into an uproar, worried that President Obama had secretly provided himself means to institute martial law in America.

In the common practice of dumping government documents on a Friday afternoon, just as the news cycle is wrapping up for the week – a move critics say allows the administration to avoid widespread coverage of embarrassing actions – the White House released an executive order on “National Defense Resources Preparedness.”

Filled with language about “government-owned equipment” and a “defense executive reserve,” among other vague statements, rumors began to spread that the executive order expanded the president’s power to do everything from seizing whole industries to drafting private armies.

A Canada Free Press article titled “Obama Executive Order: Peacetime Martial Law!” spread concerns of gasoline ration cards; while an Examiner article declared the order would “nationalize everything” and “allow for a civilian draft.” Facebook, email and Twitter were suddenly abuzz, and even the extremely popular Drudge Report posted a link to the White House release under the title “Martial Law? Obama Issues Executive Order.”

I’m getting really, really sick of these pundits and talking heads on the so-called “right” clucking their tongues at the unwashed masses and telling us that we’re crazy and paranoid to be the least bit concerned each and every time the Obama regime takes another stride toward totalitarianism. And it is EACH AND EVERY TIME.

Let me break it down for Ed Morrissey, and all of the other pundits in that social circle so that you can get your heads around this. We are concerned and even, dare I say it, panicked, because we can see the big picture of the Obama regime for what it is. We can take the totality of the dataset and draw not just a logical, reasoned conclusion, but a conclusion that is supported by centuries – nay millenia – of past precedent.

We are, as Patrick Henry put it, “willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst, and to provide for it.”

I got this email from my 28 year old friend “Al” yesterday:

We aren’t living in the 1950’s anymore. Why is there a fear of the communist bogeyman? Isn’t creating and perpetuating this fear just another form of propaganda?

Obviously, this boy has been brainwashed. I was so frustrated a cartoon cyclone came out of my head and ears. Then I wrote him back:

We aren’t living in the 1950′s anymore…so, suddenly communism works?! Which country is it working in?! (I wanted to say ‘you idiot!’) North Korea, Russia, Cuba? Are people flocking there to live? Risking their lives on rafts to get there?

The liberal Miami Herald today had an article about tourists visiting Cuba. They hated to admit that the place is a falling apart poverty stricken mess. They didn’t use the “c” word of course to explain why it suddenly went bad when Castro took over. All they would offer was, “…There’s no way tourism alone can prop up a system so enfeebled by the weight of government bureaucracy, market controls and limits on personal freedoms.”

“…a system enfeebled by the weight of government bureaucracy, market controls and limits on personal freedoms…” sounds like the Obama administration.

28 year old – do you want America to look like Cuba? Than stop defending communism!

This is the part where I put it all together. I hope you have been paying close attention.

Paul Harvey, in 1965, tells you about what the evil soviet empire wanted to accomplish, and how they would accomplish their objective. This will be followed by a video that tells us how Saul Alinsky helped the goals along the way. Now, all you have to realize is that the President studied Alinsky's tactics. Glenn played some incredible audio this morning on the radio program of radio commentator Paul Harvey from 1965. Glenn knew Harvey, and described him as “absolutely inspired of God.”

Last night on GBTV, Glenn explained to viewers that America has crossed over into new territory. “The progressives, I believe, have realized their dream. They have taken those baby steps,” Glenn said. “It is time to stop studying progressives.”

Glenn challenged those that don’t think the progressives have accomplished their goals to “listen to the prophetic words of radio commentator Paul Harvey.”

The audio is of Paul Harvey explaining how he would destroy us [America] if he were Satan…

“If I were the devil, I wouldn’t be happy until I had seized the ripest apple on the tree—Thee. So I’d set about however necessary to take over the United States. I’d subvert the churches first—I would begin with a campaign of whispers. With the wisdom of a serpent, I would whisper to you as I whispered to Eve: “Do as you please.” “Do as you please.” To the young, I would whisper, “The Bible is a myth.” I would convince them that man created God instead of the other way around. I would confide that what is bad is good, and what is good is “square”. And the old, I would teach to pray. I would teach them to pray after me, ‘Our Father, which art in Washington…’

And in His own churches I would substitute psychology for religion, and deify science. I would lure priests and pastors into misusing boys and girls, and church money. If I were the devil I’d make the symbols of Easter an egg and the symbol of Christmas a bottle.

If I were the devil I’d take from those, and who have, and give to those wanted until I had killed the incentive of the ambitious. What do you bet I could get whole states to promote gambling as the way to get rich? I would question against extremes and hard work, and Patriotism, and moral conduct. I would convince the young that marriage is old-fashioned, that swinging more fun, that what you see on the TV is the way to be. And thus I could undress you in public, and I could lure you into bed with diseases for which there is no cure. In other words, if I were to devil I’d keep on doing on what he’s doing. Paul Harvey, good day.”

“That is unbelievable,” Glenn said after listening to the audio.

A worldwide crisis on my birthday ~ By Victoria Jackson

I said, "Now that America is socialist, where are Canadians gonna go to get famous?! You know, Gilda, Lorne, Ackroyd, Norm McDonald, Michael J. Fox, Martin Short … you have a lot of funny people. Where are they gonna go now?! Capitalism is the only system where people can make a million dollars a week just telling a few jokes."

I asked my limo driver if I could video him and he said no.

I'm worried about this Rupert Murdoch thing. It seems contrived. It reeks of the Obama administration trying to silence the one channel that doesn't worship Obama. If Fox News disappears, freedom of speech is dead. I already have to jump through hoops to find Glenn Beck. I'm jonesing for his 5 p.m. show that doesn't exist anymore.

Well, now I have to shake reality off and go rehearse for the comedy show tonight. Nehemiah 8:10: "The joy of the Lord is my strength."

Should something... I mean, ANYTHING... happen to me in the next few days, be sure to let the authorities know about the following video that I am now going to show you:

I know what happened to the original JFK. He said too much! The only way to silence him involved lead and a patsy. But for this JFK? Me? All "they" have to do is to tell somebody to turn off my blog.

So, at least now you won't be too shocked if I am not seen online for awhile... (Or, I may just take a few days off and enjoy life while I still can! This is such a great cover for a well deserved vacation!)

My message today? Do I really need to explain it? Well, okay, I will. For those of us that love Freedom, we must be very aware that we have to fight tooth and nail to keep it. We must also be aware that we may find ourselves being attacked by those that don't like what we are saying and/or writing. Fighting for freedom may involve paying a price.... and saying a few prayers, down on your knees.

I greatly respect Victoria Jackson's courage to write what she does. The least I could do was to go out on the limb with her. It is why I included the video above, just to say that we can still win if we all gang up on "them."

I'm standing in line at my bank in Miami wearing my "Hay Un Comunista Viviendo En La Casa Blanca" T-shirt. No one speaks English here. I'm thinking about the recent headline, "The world's biggest economy runs out of cash on Aug. 2." Another crisis our communist president is using for his evil plot to shut America down. "Never let a good crisis go to waste."

Let's see, there was 1) that flu "crisis" – we were supposed to stop public transportation and flying; remember Biden told us it was unsafe to fly because of the germs? 2) the banking "crisis" – had to urgently pass the "Stimulus" bill and pay off all Obama's supporters … to get the economy going?! 3) the health-care "crisis" – the best health-care system in the world suddenly had to urgently change for some reason, had to get socialized medicine; 4) the oil-spill "crisis" – had to quit drilling! Lose jobs. Depend on foreign, enemy oil; 5) The global warming, I mean, climate change "crisis"! – the government must take our light bulbs away and limit our showers! Windmills now! Solar panels, ASAP! 6) the hacking into the Internet "crisis"! That blonde Swedish guy and Rupert Murdoch! Oh no! Government, please control our Internet and phones!

It's so obvious that Dictator "O" is trying to crash our economy. Hey, Congress, I know what to eliminate to save money: Obamacare! Duh! Aug. 2 is my birthday, so it's weird to hear it on the news all day. I'm still in line at the bank and in a hurry. I have to fly to Niagara Falls, Canada, today to do stand-up comedy with Joe Piscopo and Father Guido Sarducci. My dogs are in my car. I left the air conditioning on for them, so the key is in the ignition, and I'm watching out the window for car/dog thieves.

Sometimes I'm glad that most Americans aren't paying attention. They aren't panicking like he wants them to. Out of 300 million Americans, how many have read the book with all the facts, "The Manchurian President" by Aaron Klein? I'm reading it now and I want to educate everyone, so I'm wearing the Spanish version of my educational T-shirt. On the back, it says, "Votemos Para Sacarlo. Todavia Lo Podemos Hacer?!" This means, "Vote Him Out. Are we still allowed to do that?!"

I approach the young bank teller and she reads my shirt and giggles. I turn around so she can see the back, and a Cuban woman in line reads the front of my shirt and mumbles under her breath, "Don't say that." I mumble back, "I have proof."

I leave quickly because I don't want to start a scene. You see, that's the thing. No one wants to believe it. They are purposefully burying their heads in the sand.

Now it's sunset and I'm sitting here in Canada looking out the window of my hotel at the gorgeous Niagara Falls. I can't move my eyes away. I haven't done my act in a while. I hope I remember it. I had to get "bra extensions" for my bustier because it wouldn't close in the back! I'd never even heard of them before. Aging. Don't like it.

On the drive from the airport, I asked my limo driver what Canadians think about our new communist president.

He moaned, then said, "I think he's more than a communist. … It's about the whole world."

I said, "You mean like the Illuminati?"

He nodded.

"Globalist?"

He said, "Yes. They took a poll of all the leaders of all the countries and they asked who they'd pick as a leader if they had to right now. They all answered Obama."

Managed economy or free markets? ~ By Henry Lamb

America has almost forgotten what a free market really is. Government's insidious expansion of control over business activity, while denying that its control is implementation of Marxist/communist/socialist/progressive principles, is steadily killing free-market capitalism in America.

It will continue under Barack Obama and a Democratic majority in Congress. If free-market capitalism is not restored in the next election, it may vanish from the earth.

When you finish reading Henry's column, I'm sure that you will know where Henry Lamb stands on capitalism and a free market economy. And by the time you read what I have to say, you'll definitely be aware of where I stand when it comes to not just free market economics and true capitalism, but also on the importance of free enterprise based on the entrepreneurial spirit of Americans that made this country great!

At my age, some events of my life are no longer coming back to me with absolute clarity. However, there was one event that changed my perspective forever, and I can actually recall enough of that time with enough accuracy to make a point. It was 30 years ago, so I shouldn't be expected to remember every detail perfectly, but I remember enough to get my point across, I hope.

I was in the USAF (U.S. Air Force). Just prior to going on leave, I had learned that I was going to be promoted to Staff Sergeant, which rarely happened with just under four years in service. It happened that I was good at taking tests, and did well in the test for my promotion. Well, that's part of the background to this story, because my transformation happened when my family and I returned back to Iowa for some well deserved R & R.

During my time back in Iowa, I took a day to hang out with my two best friends, Phil and Dave. We went up to the Mississippi river at Phil's parent's cabin. Dave, Phil and I had fun fishing, but I didn't do so well in catching anything. Well, not until I caught the entrepreneurial bug, as we talked about various business ventures to start. Well, you see, we were young and dumb, and we thought that we could actually live our dreams by someday starting our own business! We just couldn't unanimously agree on what would work for us. It didn't matter, I was infected with the desire to DREAM, to work for myself. I just didn't know what I'd do for a business.

That all changed when I returned after leave to my duty station at Eglin AFB. My boss had been out of town for several days. I found out where he went when he returned. He had just attended a huge convention of fired up people up in Washington D.C. (of all places!). He was excited to tell me about what he was doing there, and I was even more ready and excited to hear what he could tell me. Well, SMSgt Wagner found out how easy it was to recruit people when he talked to somebody like me, that was looking for an opportunity!

Yes, I joined Jim and Yolanda in the business venture, in the summer of '81. Nearly 30 years ago, I began learning about free enterprise. And I got to meet a great American patriot and entrepreneur by the name of Bill Britt, a very successful Amway distributor from North Carolina, and my upline Double-Diamond... It was his words, which I heard both at conventions and on tape, that taught me about the benefits of capitalism and the loss of freedom with socialism.

When I finished up with my commitment with the USAF, I returned with my family to Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I was fired up! The country was still trying to recover from the four years of Jimmy Carter. The economy here in Iowa was hurting. I just knew that I'd be highly successful after showing all my friends and relatives "the business." I already had my two friends that talked about getting a business going, at least in my mind. But, while I was out of town serving my country, they got busy in their lives. Dave got a job with a jewelry store and Phil became a firefighter. Okay, so I got two immediate "no's"! Hey, that's okay. But, the story became really sad after that.

After failing at convincing so many of my friends and relatives that there's a better way to live - with a dream - I became an expert at sharing the business with cold contacts, people that I met anywhere, anytime. Despite my lack of credibility, I forced myself to discuss the business opportunity with all kinds of successful professionals: Doctors, lawyers, realtors, insurance executives, and even a former Iowa Governor that was living in Cedar Rapids! They were all kind to me, but said, "no thanks." That was when I decided to try to help people that had not been so successful in life. And that is when I found out that socialist propaganda had already infected society. That was thirty years ago!

When the successful professionals I had talked to said, "not interested," in many cases it turned out to be a time issue. Yes, I knew all of the responses to that "excuse," and they all failed to convince anyone, but it was okay. They were succeeding, and by far, exceeded anything I've been able to do with my life. But none of those people put me down for having a dream. It was a different story when I discussed the business with people that were not professionals. Of course, some of them were in unions. They had things taken care of. And believe me, many of them that I still know aren't doing too bad (except for the ones that were working in manufacturing jobs that were moved overseas). Their lifelong careers at manufacturing plants, with great union benefits, have really paid off. Many are my age, and they are comfortably retired.

And the ones I contacted that were living in mobile home parks and apartments? Do I really need to say what their response was? Probably not, but I will tell you anyway, just so I can make the point clearer: I was told that 1) They deserved a better income in their jobs, and didn't feel obligated to have to work any harder than they were already, 2) They didn't think it was right that the owners of the companies they worked for made at least 100 times what they made (though, now it is thousands of times in many cases), and 3) If they made any more money, they'd lose their government benefits or pay more taxes!

Now, let's get back to what Henry Lamb tells us in his column. The government's managed economy system is all about confirming those afflicted with class envy. That's simply what is called Marxism. Really, had it been that I would rather have free health care rather than eventually flying in my own private jet, I would have stayed in the Air Force. Free or subsidized housing? Yep, that could have been taken care of too. Oh, but no, I had to go and start believing in free enterprise and Ronald Reagan economics... and true freedom - economic freedom. That seems to be long gone. I'm just sayin'... or dreamin'....

America was once the envy of the world. Even the poorest people in America had far more than most of the rest of the people in the world. Throughout the first two centuries of her existence, America welcomed people from everywhere and supported their efforts to invent, to build, to create and to produce wealth from whatever enterprise struck their fancy. Labor unions and government regulations have put an end to that era.

For at least the last 50 years, government has continually tightened its grip on the economy by imposing ever-tighter controls over the activities of all businesses. Whether to promote safety or to protect the environment, government has made it nearly impossible for American business to compete with the rest of the world. In addition to this burden, labor unions, especially public employee labor unions, have fed Democrat candidates a healthy diet of campaign contributions in exchange for contracts that a free market would never tolerate.

The housing market crumbled because of government intervention. The Community Reinvestment Act of 1977 and subsequent revisions imposed government management of the housing industry by forcing banks to issue loans to credit risks a free market would never tolerate. To entice banks to make these unjustified loans, the government guaranteed repayment. When some of the people couldn't, or wouldn't, repay their mortgages, the government took your tax money to make good the guarantee. This is the single most important cause of the current economic disaster, and the responsibility rests upon progressive Democrats who firmly believe that government must control and manage human activity.

Environmental regulations and government-mandated comprehensive land use plans have destroyed the concept of private property rights and elevated government to be the singular authority that controls the use of all land – regardless of who owns it. There are countless horror stories in which government destroyed the lives of enterprising Americans by preventing them from using their own land and resources. Ocie Mills and his son spent nearly two years in a federal prison for dumping 19 loads of building sand on his own property. Bob Brace fought through the courts for 12 years to win the right to convert his own pasture to a cabbage field; he lost. Wendy Birnbaum has been fighting for 12 years to use her 112 Washington acres as a campground. She still has to pay monstrous taxes on her land, but cannot use it to produce revenue. There are literally thousands and thousands of these cases in which government rolled over its citizens with no thought of being limited by their consent.

Marxists/communists/socialists/progressive Democrats are absolutely convinced that if left uncontrolled by government, people will destroy the planet, kill their neighbors with faulty products and force people to work for slave wages. Capitalists know that the conditions the progressives fear most are the inevitable consequences of the very policies they advocate. The former USSR and Cuba are but two very good examples to document this fact.

I moved to Miami and took my mom to a Marco Rubio rally right before his Senate election. It was mostly in Spanish. I hadn't been asked to sing my "Commie" uke song (that I'd sung at rallies across the nation), and this was my hometown! Discouraged with political activism and ready to quit, I showed my mom Psalm 26, which the day before had encouraged me to stay the course. Right before I started to read it aloud, my cell rang and it was Breitbart. He knows my number?! My mom looked at me impatiently. I mouthed, "He's big."

Andrew began, "You're vindicated!" I said, "What?!" I thought fast. Did I do something wrong? Break a law? Kill someone? Andrew continued, "You're vindicated, Victoria! There's a new book out called 'Radical in Chief' by Stanley Kurtz. It's not a talk-show book. It's a real book. It details all of Obama's radical communistic past! You're vindicated!" As he continued talking excitedly about his new Pigford Scandal unraveling, I thought about what a kind person this was, to remember our conversation a year ago. When we hung up, I tried to explain to my mom who this famous person was. Then I picked up the Bible to read her the verse I had started 20 minutes before, Psalm 26:1, "Vindicate me, Oh Lord. …" My mouth dropped open! Vindicate?!

I was finally able to read Victoria's column from last Friday morning. I'm a little behind on my reading. There is no shortage of brilliant columns to immerse ourselves in. Great media is coming at us 24/7/365 (366 next year!). And now with twitter and facebook and text messages telling us what our friends are reading or watching, there really is an infinite number of ways to entertain - excuse me, I mean educate - ourselves. Things just keep getting more hectic! But I am glad that I finally got to read Victoria's column. I learned a few things.

You will understand the gravity of the second paragraph of the excerpt above once you read down further. But first, make sure that you play the video below where Andrew Breitbart explains the citizen journalist movement to Sean Hannity:



It is all about CITIZEN JOURNALISM! I emphasize that point, because that is what this column is really about... for me. Sure, the actual theme of the column is that liberals can turn Conservative. Victoria and Andrew had once believed that they were liberals. They had at one time bought into the liberal lies... I mean ideologies. They became Conservatives. Don't forget, Ronald Reagan did the same thing.

Back to "citizen journalism." I was just about ready to write, "Discouraged with political activism and ready to quit..." - but Victoria beat me to it. No, she didn't quit. Not only is she persisting, in what seems like a never-ending battle, she inspired me - just today - to keep on keeping on. I was ready to quit. You see, after a few years of writing on the internet, Andrew Breitbart had not called me.

That's okay. Because of what Victoria happened to write, that I finally got to read and study - going to my Bible to read Psalm 26 - I'll just be satisfied in knowing that eventually God will give me vindication for even trying to be a "citizen journalist." Even if I only reach a few people... with a special message... "Don't Give Up!" I'm just sayin'...

When I first met Andrew in L.A., he told me that history would look back on me and smile, that I would be one of the influences that changed the landscape of Hollywood from 100 percent liberal to at least 50-50 … something to that effect. I puffed up with pride and pictured myself winning my third Oscar, shrugging my shoulders, thanking God and hearing whispers from the front row, "She's the reason I switched to conservative!" "Me, too!" "I just love President Palin!" "I just got born again!" At the Vanity Fair party, Sean Penn sidles up to me and purrs into my ear, "Conservative women are so much sexier," and then Susan Sarandon says, "I always knew you were smart!"

Well, I'm pretty much banned from Hollywood right now, so I don't know exactly when that dream will come true, but …

Andrew was a liberal and he switched. That's why his story is interesting to me.

It was funny that I ran into Andrew this week at the First Coast Tea Party in Jacksonville, Fla., because it was his book release day, and I was there the day Andrew thought of the title to his book! It was July 2, 2010. I looked very fat that day. It was Troopathon. I was doing handstands, tap dancing and making a fool of myself in an attempt to raise money for the soldiers, our heroes. Andrew was on his Blackberry as usual, clicking, reading, thinking and texting … saving the world.

On the way to my second tea-party speech, in '09, I asked Breitbart if it was philosophically correct if I called the president a communist. "People admit he's a Marxist, and Marx wrote the Communist Manifesto, so what's the difference?" After a long pause, Andrew said, "Victoria, say whatever you want to say." I took that as permission, so I started publicly discussing the state of our union in this simplest way I could, explaining our sudden government takeover and dying middle class. We smelled a new scent in the air – fear – a realization that our freedoms were disappearing and none of us knew how to explain it, let alone stop it.

Obama's visions of China ~ By Erik Rush

Thirty years ago, I could perhaps see young conservatives having certain doubts over liberals' claims that it was preposterous to think a cyclopean, socialist state was in the offing – but not now. Thirty years ago, I was one of those young conservatives, and I had already seen and experienced many of the evils progressivism had wrought. How much more human suffering have Americans endured at their hands since then?

And how much awaits us in the future – when people such as Obama attain the kind of power they really want?

Erik Rush confirms Victoria Jackson's statement that there is a communist in the White House. Erik goes one step further. He tells of a New York Times article on March 10, 2011 that says, "Mr. Obama has told people that it would be so much easier to be the president of China." And why is that such an incredibly scary statement to be made by the President?

As one blogger put it, "Of course it would. Then he could just slaughter those disruptive Gadsden flag-waving tea partiers," pointing to how that hero of Obama cabinet members, Mao Zedong, slaughtered 70 million people to get the other 700 million to fall in line. How wonderful it would be if Obama could only operate entirely without restraint!

Should the commie-in-chief happen to win re-election in November 2012, by appearing to move to the center to nullify the worries of many Americans that may be thinking that Victoria Jackson is correct, he would then have free reign to do what he wants to without having to worry about re-election in 2016. (Or, then again, maybe NEVER worry about re-election! One of those things Obama could do with one more term would be to follow in the footsteps of his Venezuelan mentor, Hugo Chavez, and virtually become President for life. By hook or crook, Obama would just need to get the 22nd Amendment repealed.)

Of course, some people that read my comments above or Erik's column will think that this is all very far-fetched. I would disagree. There are honestly too many things that we really do not know for sure about Obama, just for the fact that he refuses to allow certain records become public record. However, we do know who he has surrounded himself with, not just while in the White House, but during his entire life, as Erik mentions. Many of his actions as President so far would also give us a clue, too. At least I know that I am not the only one who believes that the speculative projection of Obama's future actions, to the detriment of America, are plausible.

Our Creator gifted human beings with moral freedom (that being the ability to choose between good and evil) with good reason. Those reasons were His own, but since they would initiate an entire theological discussion, I won't get into them here.

America's founders reasoned that establishing a nation that observed the sanctity of that freedom would be of the highest moral good. This is why the American system of governance, though not perfect, is superior to those that have come before or since, and why this nation has enjoyed so many blessings. It gave rise to social, technological, industrial, economic and, yes, spiritual advancement and the ability to share those blessings with the rest of the world.

Up until about 40 years ago, this was also the conventional wisdom among Americans.

Those who find fault with the premises concerning the motives of God and the founders will, of course, disagree; likewise for those who subscribe to the propaganda of America's ideological opponents, which maintains that the United States has simply prospered through predatory, opportunistic associations with less technologically developed nations and our imperialistic designs. This line of reasoning is inane and was originally part of the doctrine of our foreign enemies. Once progressive elites did away with classical education and critical thinking, the inane was readily adopted by wayward Western minds – including those of millions of Americans.

This is, by the by, the worldview with which President Barack Obama was raised. An avowed communist mother and father, a card-carrying communist in mentor Frank Marshall Davis, communist employers in the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) and others, and assorted Leninists and Maoists in such people as Van Jones, Valerie Jarrett and Anita Dunn in his employ pretty much verify Obama's political alignment.

Obama didn't even spend his formative years in the U.S.; his teenage years (in Hawaii) were whiled away under the tutelage of Davis, who hated America and was a Communist Party operative in both in Chicago and Hawaii. Obama attended Harvard and allegedly Columbia, and ultimately moved to Chicago to learn how to "be black" and pursue Saul Alinsky's Marxist model of community organizing.

This, from his earliest days of social consciousness, had always been his objective.

Gas price too high? Here's whom to thank ~ By Henry Lamb

On top of all this, consider that China and India are increasing their use of carbon-based fuels to expand their economies dramatically. They are using cheap carbon energy to manufacture solar panels and wind turbines for use in America to generate energy that is outrageously expensive. What sense does this make? It certainly "spreads the wealth around" at the expense of Americans.

The only way to stop this nonsense is to continue the revolution started in November, 2010 and intensify efforts to put a majority in the Senate who understand and respect the U.S. Constitution and value a free-market economy. If the current administration can be replaced with a president who believes government has no business spreading around other people's wealth, and that the U.S. must become self-sufficient in energy production, while defending our borders at home and our interests abroad, then we can open ANWR, drill offshore and use the resources within our own nation.

Those who object to this goal should be re-tested.

Henry reveals the real reasons for our high gas prices. You probably won't be surprised to find out that much of it may have to do with "spreading the wealth around."

Henry Lamb actually discloses something that has been no secret for a long time, and yet, those that are executing such an idiotic plan are not phased by the fact that their policies are destroying America. Oh, wait, let me be clear. The progressive elites are really not that stupid, I suppose, being that many had graduated from Ivy League schools. So, that could mean only one other possibility: Their destruction of America is INTENTIONAL! And, if you still don't believe that, Henry's column will be another piece of the puzzle that will result, eventually, in giving you the ability to see the whole picture.

In December 1996, Bill Clinton vetoed legislation that would have added more than a million barrels of domestic oil per day to help reduce America's dependence on foreign oil. His reasoning at the time was that ANWR could not produce oil for 10 years, a laughable excuse.

For years, responsible congressmen fought to open ANWR (Arctic National Wildlife Refuge).

The real reason ANWR remains closed to needed domestic oil production is the relentless propaganda campaign waged by green organizations that preach the now-discredited gospel of global warming. These organizations contribute heavily to Democratic candidates and, during the Clinton administration, occupied the White House and management positions of federal agencies. (See this report and especially endnote No. 30.)

The Bush administration tried again to expand domestic oil production. Congressional Democrats would not allow it. They filibustered Sen. Ted Stevens' bill to open ANWR in 2005, and in 2008 killed a bill to expand off-shore drilling. Had the greens, the Dems and Clinton not conspired to prevent the expansion of domestic oil production nearly two decades ago, America could be nearly self-sufficient in energy production today.

Obama may be worse than all of the above. Van Jones, his first green-jobs czar, is a self-proclaimed communist. His "Green Collar Economy" cannot exist unless carbon-based energy is either outlawed or taxed to a price point beyond the price of his proposed alternative energy. Carol Browner, his choice for global-warming czar, is a socialist. She served as administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency during the Clinton administration and hates the use of carbon-based energy in America.

There is no reason to force an already stressed economy into a "green" economy where, for example, a Chevy Volt costs $41,000 (before the $7,500 tax credit) for a mid-size hatchback that's rated 40 mpg highway. Dozens of mid-size cars are available for half the price with mpg ratings in the mid or high 30s. A "green" economy requires massive subsidies from government and/or increased taxes on carbon-based energy to equalize the playing field. This kind of manipulation is not a free-market economy. It is a major factor in rising gas prices and other energy costs.

What's happening in the Obama administration may be much worse than the price of gasoline. His admission to Joe the Plumber that he wants to "spread the wealth around" is a goal that is not limited to the United States. Even in defiance of a court order, Obama refuses to allow off-shore drilling for domestic energy. He has no reluctance, however, to provide $2 billion in funding for drilling off the Brazilian coastline. He is trying to spread the wealth to Brazil, while preventing wealth creation in U.S. oil fields.

Obama's desire to spread the wealth around includes spreading American-generated wealth to foreign countries. It was Obama who pushed his "Global Poverty Act" (S. 2433) to increase foreign aid to the level dictated by the U.N.

Bad journalism and a song ~ By Victoria Jackson

I'm always very careful to mention my fat, knowing that it is one of the favorite adjectives liberal bloggers use when debating my articles on euthanasia, abortion, Obamacare and Internet neutrality. In actuality, fat is a big deterrent to getting television work – although it hasn't seemed to hamper the careers of Whoopi, Behar, Rosie, Shepherd or Oprah! Maybe liberals are allowed to be fat!

Since I was already bing-ing myself, I checked out Wikipedia. It says that I am a birther! I did not know that! Although, I might be. WND has a plethora of proof. I do know "O" is not a true American. He hates America. That's like a Christian saying they are a Christian but they hate Christ!

Victoria Jackson is not afraid to tell you what is on her mind, even when she is now aware that liberal "journalists" will either lie about what she says, or parse her words to give what she said a completely different meaning. And of course, the liberals in the press aren't even afraid to use name calling as a weapon against her.  Is that real journalism?

But of course, I am sure that Victoria is quite aware that she is not the ONLY conservative celebrity (or politician, or both) that has suffered from what the liberal press tells their mindless minions. Obviously, Sarah Palin knows the feeling of being "victimized" (don't worry, Vicki isn't ever going to be a victim!) by the hate from the left in the media. Remember that? Well, I remember this: Ronald Reagan went through the same thing back in the 1980's (and beyond) at the hands of the liberal lamestream media!

And in the mean time, "coming out" as a conservative may have had a negative affect on Victoria's Hollywood acting career. I do not think that I have to remind Victoria that there is a definite reason for the attacks from the left. Liberals do not like it when they lose the heart of one of their own to our side on the Right. (I think there is a major religion also on this planet that also considers a conversion to any other religion but their own a punishable sin... by death.)

The attacks on Victoria, and Conservatives like her - especially if in Hollyweird - to be quite hurtful and deceitful... Consider the source! The only thing I can suggest to my (hopefully) good friend (someday), Victoria, is just roll with it like Zach said on Fox & Friends:

I'm driving to see my grandchild. I need a fix. She's 2 months old and still thinks the world is a wonderful place! I think somberly about Polatik and his baby getting chemo in the hospital. It reminds me of a song I wrote called, "It's Foggy."

I'm listening to Beck radio. A caller just said that his friend, a farmer, is being paid by the government not to grow crops. Food prices are rising. Shouldn't we be planting more crops? Oil prices are rising. Shouldn't we drill, baby, drill? We have oil right here! This whole green energy thing is based on a lie. Obama's group, Organizing For America, is protesting balanced budgets! This government is purposefully trying to destroy us. I shake it off. I'm trying to stay in a happy mood.

I don't understand unions. I've been in SAG and AFTRA for the past 30 years. They don't get me work. They do take dues. They say that when I'm 65, I'll get $3,000-ish per month. I like that part. I hope it's true. They send me residual checks occasionally. Their insurance is too expensive now, so I don't have any health insurance. (And I do not want Obamacare.) AFTRA sent me an e-mail last week asking me to protest. I wrote back: "Shame on you for your communistic behavior." I hope that doesn't affect the money I'm supposed to get when I'm 65!

There are no more turnpike tolls! Only electronic "Sun Pass!" I guess those toll booth people are out of work now too. Did we vote on this?

I saw the face of Obama suddenly pop up in some montage during the Oscars! Stop it! Keep him locked up in the White House until we can impeach him, for goodness sakes! Stop inserting him into football, and music, and Oscars. This isn't China or Cuba … yet.

Last time I visited my grandchild a car followed me. Someone is spying on me. But, that's next week's column. This week I want to address the rash of press that just came out about me at CPAC. I resent the liberal media's slant, lies, omissions and insinuations.

First of all, I was called a racist. My song is commenting on our president's worldview. It has nothing to do with his skin color or cultural background. This lie is especially hilarious considering Attorney General Eric Holder's comment this week on the Black Panther case and "my people"! And, of course, my favorite – Obama's comment, "I don't know all the facts, but the (white) police acted stupidly." Now that is racist.

The funniest article about me is by a liberal "plant" who posed as a conservative at CPAC thinking he would get secret information because we didn't suspect he wasn't one of us! The trouble is I tell the truth all the time, so he got only … truth! Matthew Vadum says, "A George Soros-funded Media Matters for America videographer committed journalistic fraud and malfeasance at the freshly concluded 2011 Conservative Political Action."

This next article has one point I agree with. It is hard to take me seriously, the voice, the hair. But, then they call my evidence that "O" is a communist "less than convincing "proof"! My evidence isn't proof?! I got a Facebook comment the other day from a woman who said "Jesus loves communism – everyone is equal." I wrote back, "Then why do all the communist countries kill Christians?"
