In her column, Ann Coulter explains why it is a great idea for the Republicans to be the party of NO! It is what the American people actually want, despite what Barack Obama is trying to say about it.

If Republicans were smart, they'd shock the world by sending in one of their most appealing members of Congress, who can speak clearly on health care – Sen. Jon Kyl, Rep. Steve King or Rep. Ron Paul.


Actually, if the Republicans were really smart, they'd send in 14-year-old Jonathan Krohn, who understands the free market better than most people in Washington. Of course, so does my houseplant.

Inasmuch as Obamacare has a snowball's chance in hell of passing (but did you see how much snow they got in hell last week?), everyone is wondering what President Obama is up to by calling Republicans to a televised Reykjavik summit this week to discuss socializing health care.

At least they served beer at the last White House summit this stupid and pointless.

If the president is serious about passing nationalized health care, he ought to be meeting with the Democrats, not the Republicans.

Republicans can't stop the Democrats from socializing health care: They are a tiny minority party in both the House and the Senate. (Note to America: You might want to keep this in mind next time you go to the polls.)

As the Democratic base has been hysterically pointing out, both the House and the Senate have already passed national health care bills. Either body could vote for the other's bill, and – presto! – Obama would have a national health-care bill, replete with death panels, abortion coverage and lots and lots of new government commissions!

Sadly, as the president's chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, has noted, the Democratic base is "@#$%^ retarded."

The reason massive Democratic majorities in Congress aren't enough to pass socialist health care is AMERICANS DON'T WANT SOCIALIZED MEDICINE!

In fact, you might say that the nation is in a boiling cauldron of rage against it. Consequently, a lot of Democrats are suddenly having second thoughts about vast new government commissions regulating every aspect of Americans' medical care.

Obama isn't stupid – he's not seriously trying to get a health-care bill passed. The whole purpose of this public "summit" with the minority party is to muddy up the Republicans before the November elections. You know, the elections Democrats are going to lose because of this whole health-care thing.

Right now, Americans are hopping mad, swinging a stick and hoping to hit anyone who so much as thinks about nationalizing health care.

If they could, Americans would cut the power to the Capitol, throw everyone out and try to deport them. (Whereas I say: Anyone in Washington, D.C., who can produce an original copy of a valid U.S. birth certificate should be allowed to stay.)

But the Democrats think it's a good strategy to call the Republicans "The Party of No." When it comes to Obamacare, Americans don't want a party of "No," they want a party of "Hell, No!" or, as Rahm Emanuel might say, "*&^%$#@ No!"

George Washington led a combined force of 17,000 French and Continental troops upon Yorktown (Virginia) and encircled British Gen. Lord Cornwallis and his regiment of 9,000 British troops. Washington bombarded Cornwallis and crew day and night for three weeks with artillery and cannon fire, until Cornwallis surrendered on Oct. 17, 1781. Negotiations for peace began in 1782, with the Treaty of Paris being eventually signed on Sept. 3, 1783, formally ending the eight years of war and securing America's independence. The key to victory at Yorktown came when, at the mouth of the Chesapeake, the French navy helped to corner Cornwallis and his crew from fleeing by sea, while Marquis de Lafayette, who under Washington led 5,000 American soldiers, blocked Cornwallis' escape by land. Lafayette was only 23 years old at the time. Lafayette was only 16 years old when he joined the Black Musketeers back in France, an elite unit of royal troops that rode black horses. He started fighting in the Revolution in 1777 at only 19, at which time Congress gave him the rank of major general. Two months after the British surrender at Yorktown, Lafayette returned home as a "hero of two worlds." Marquis de Lafayette was one of Gen. George Washington's secret weapons in the American Revolution. Youth are often the key to victory in many revolutions. That's because people often underestimate their potential or perceived contributions. I believe young people will play a critical role in reawakening and returning America again to its founders' vision, ways and principles. It's amazing for us today to think about how much a young Lafayette sacrificed and accomplished for our country as well as his own. We are still inspired by his example of youthful courage and heroism. Many adults would say that type of valor rarely exists anymore. But as I meet and hear from young Americans here and around the world, I beg to differ. Though our society often denigrates the teen years and expects very little from our young people, I believe there exists a latent power in this particular generation that waits to be awakened and reveal its full potential. If we're going to win America's culture wars, we need the younger generations to do it. There is no way around it. We need to reengage with our young people and plug them into America's glorious past so they can build a brighter future. I'm not talking about selling them on a partisan platform but a patriot one (like our founders had). I'm convinced that this is why Ron Paul's candidacy for president grew into a mighty grassroots swell – it tapped into the technologically and socially based Millennials, who possess a strong anti-imperialism and lets-take-care-of-home mentality and passion. By John Kubicek Being this is the first week I've done this, I am sure that some of the followers of this blog may not be aware that I have a youtube channel that goes by TheREALjohnny2k. Well, now you know. But, I know also that not everyone will have time to get to my channel as often as I upload my videos. For this reason, I've decided to start this weekly feature where every Sunday, when you get home from your worship services, you can stop by here and check out what I have added to the channel in the last week. This week, I want to go back an extra couple days, starting with Friday, Sept. 11. I think when you see the video that starts this series off, you'll understand why I wanted to include it. Normally, though, it will be everything that has been added from the previous Sunday until Saturday. Being this is the first week that I've done this, I am sure that there will be improvements and refinements to this weekly feature in the future. This is obviously still in the experimental stage, so let's just see how this goes. I am pretty sure that you will enjoy this opportunity to watch these videos. Most of the videos will be from news segments, though you may be surprised by something special from time to time, such as the first one you'll see today. I should also mention here that the length of the videos will usually be relatively short, from three to six minutes, so it won't take your whole day to get through them all. It will be rare for me to upload more than four or five videos in a week, though this first edition will have a few more since I'm going back an extra day or two. So, are you ready? Great!
