Time 2 Escape WIFLI for Monday, Feb 13, 2012

Welcome to this edition of Time 2 Escape WIFLI!

What is WIFLI?
You may be wondering what the acronym "WIFLI" means. I started out by calling these issues the Time 2 Escape Daily, but that didn't work out very well. I quickly learned that putting these issues together on a daily basis was a task I was unable to accomplish. To replace "Daily" in the title, I coined the acronym WIFLI, which literally means "When I Feel Like It." Putting together a post on this blog WIFLI works much better for my schedule, and for the higher quality of each issue that is eventually published!
Based on the final piece that I included in this WIFLI edition in the OUTSIDE of the BOX section, I could probably be called insane, or at least, on my way there because of what I read and post. I posted several commentaries today that might seem to mean that I don't trust government. No, I'm totally sane; I'm just the messenger that is telling you about all those lunatics out there that are saying that our government is becoming a tyranny. Just don't tell anyone that I am buying into the message. Shhhh....

But, I have to wonder, will I be considered to also be insane if I said that we can defeat tyranny and stop the assassination attempt on our freedom? Is an optimistic viewpoint now a sign of insanity because we now have no chance of saving America? Is the desire for maintaining liberty in this country so futile that having any hope and taking action would be considered as a mental disorder? I hope that is not the case. But ... do you wonder if it could happen to you, too?

If I happen to disappear, you'll know why after you read this issue. I'm just sayin'...

Countdown! Iran's finger on nuclear trigger
2 warheads, payloads could be weaponized in weeks
From WND.com ~ By By Reza Kahlili ~ Published Feb 11, 2012

WASHINGTON – Iranian nuclear experts have completed the component for a nuclear bomb trigger, overcoming a major obstacle in obtaining the bomb, according to sources within Iran.

As reported last May, the Iranian nuclear and military industries, under the order of Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, were to weaponize at least two warheads with a nuclear payload no later than next month.

Sources within the Revolutionary Guards reveal that the work on the trigger is taking place covertly under the control of the Guards in the cities of Darkhovin and Isfahan.

Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, the main brain behind the Iranian nuclear bomb program, is guiding the project. Fakhrizadeh reportedly reports directly to Khamenei and is under tight security because of the assassination of other Iranian nuclear scientists.

Government doesn't work!
Exclusive: Patrice Lewis rips politicians of both parties for violating their oaths of office
From WND Commentary ~ By Patrice Lewis ~ Published Feb 10, 2012

PATRICE LEWIS
Lately I’ve been feeling quite depressed about the state of our nation. I guess I’m suffering from political burnout.

That’s an amazing thing when you consider I haven’t exactly immersed myself in politics. We don’t have television reception, and so I haven’t seen any televised debates. Nor have I made any real effort to listen to any of the candidates. It’s gotten to the point where I just don’t care.

This week I’ve been re-reading portions of Harry Browne’s excellent book “Why Government Doesn’t Work.” Harry Browne was the Libertarian Party candidate for president in 1996 and 2000. Naturally he never even got close to winning because he had the audacity to suggest that government, in its current incarnation, doesn’t work. Sheesh, no wonder he was never elected.

Yes, it is the most critical election
Henry Lamb urges Americans to suit up and pitch in to eradicate Marxism
From WND Commentary ~ By Henry Lamb ~ Published Feb 10, 2012

HENRY LAMB
Several of the Republican candidates have said that the 2012 elections are the most important elections in our lifetime. They are. The current powers in Washington, most of the media, as well as academia, want the nation to abandon, or at least to reinterpret, the U.S. Constitution to justify the Marxist idea that government should manage society. These folks are winning the battle.

They’re winning because they’ve been working at it for a century. “They” are the progressives, like Barack Hussein Obama, who actually believe that government is a better manager of society and the economy than are free people in a free market. Obama apparently believes that his position endows him with the wisdom to make right decisions, regardless of the fact that he has had no real-life experience at anything other than organizing street protests.

His ACORN training produced a professional politician with the skills to win every confrontation with complete confidence that the ends justify any means that may be required. Obama’s history of public service is a history of leaving Chicago’s streets bloody with the losses of people who never knew what hit them. In the Illinois Senate, he voted “present” 129 times in route to the U.S. Senate, where his most important job was to ridicule and embarrass the Bush administration. What a job he did on Bush in 2006 when the debt ceiling had to be raised.

Had enough government yet?
Exclusive: Roger Hedgecock notes, 'Liberty-loving Americans allowed creeping growth'
From WND Commentary ~ By Roger Hedgecock ~ Published Feb 12, 2012

ROGER HEDGECOCK
Most Americans are opposed to the federal government requiring them to buy a health insurance policy in which the terms of coverage will be dictated by the government and the cost will be dictated by the health insurance companies. But this dictate is the culmination of a trend of government dictates that has been building for years.

Liberty-loving Americans have allowed this creeping growth of government, and we are not better off because of it.

The prayer Jesus taught includes the plea, “Give us this day our daily bread.” Obama’s scientists want that bread to be government approved. Too much salt in the free-market bread, you know.

In California, the Air Quality Board has promulgated standards for bakeries that require scrubbers on the exhausts from ovens to protect us from air pollution caused by the smell of baking bread.

Obama’s experts also want to brand sugar a toxin, and the exhaled breath of every living creature on the planet a pollutant.

In these and thousands of other ways, governments – local, state and federal – have intensified their nanny state intrusions into every nook and cranny of our lives. The ruling elites sincerely believe there is no human activity that couldn’t be made better and safer by government regulation.

Obama's divide-and-conquer strategy
Exclusive: Joseph Farah dubs administration's latest transgression an 'impeachable offense'
From WND Commentary ~ By Joseph Farah ~ Published Feb 12, 2012

JOSEPH FARAH
Barack Obama is a not only an abortion zealot, he’s also a fascist control freak – determined to make government the ultimate arbiter of morality on all matters political and economic.

That’s the only conclusion one can reach from his efforts to force individuals like me, institutions like the Catholic Church, insurance companies and employers nationwide to provide “free” abortions, “free” sterilizations and “free” contraception to those who are part of any health insurance program in the U.S.

It’s a natural manifestation of Obamacare – and something advocates of the legislation assured would never happen as a result of passage.

It didn’t take very long to reveal the administration’s deceit.

There’s no compromising with this hideous plan.

Last week, in an effort to defuse what has become a constitutional crisis prompted by the administration’s edicts, Obama suggested no one’s moral compass would need to be adjusted from true north because he would simply require insurance companies to pay for the taking of innocent human life rather than religious institutions.

This misses the point of the objections by 180 degrees.

UPDATE 02.13.2012 at 4:00 PM:

How the Media Attempt to Marginalize a Social Conservative
From GOPUSA ~ By Bobby Eberle in "The Loft" ~ February 13, 2012 1:46 pm

This past Sunday, GOP presidential candidate Rick Santorum hit the political shows as candidates often do. Did the hosts focus on the pressing issues of jobs and the economy, the debt or the deficit? No. The focus was clearly on Santorum's positions as a social conservative. With Santorum's views established, the hosts at NBC and ABC tried to paint him as some sort of extremist. Their questions and efforts were nothing short of pathetic.

Just watch the video below in which NBC's "Meet the Press" host David Gregory actually asks Santorum if only single woman without children would be welcomed to work in a Santorum administration:

[See Video in article]

Santorum cracks a smile and provides an explanation to Gregory's outrageous question, but I sure wish a candidate or any other conservative would simply call these left-wingers out. That question was 1) stupid, 2) insulting, and 3) senseless. Santorum should have called him on it. Why do conservatives even go on these shows? The fact that Gregory asked it is enough to get the idea out there that Santorum may hold "extremist" positions. Ask the question... let the candidate deny the obvious. Mission accomplished: the question has been asked.

As noted in The Blaze, the idiocy was not confined to NBC. When Santorum moved over to ABC to speak on "This Week" with George Stephanopoulos, guess what Santorum was asked? He faced some standard election questions, then he was asked "what he would say to those who think his comments on radical feminism alienate women and make him an easier candidate to beat in the general election."

Time 2 Escape Daily for Wednesday, Dec 28, 2011

A decision was finally made after months of thoughtful consideration. Of the various options available to me, I believe that I will be making the changes needed to accomplish the main goal of providing a resource of value to you, the reader.

You will no longer see the individual columns that I was commenting on. Because my time has been more limited these days, it was getting overwhelming to get very many blogs posted. As you can see, my monthly productivity began to plummet in this month of December 2012. Hopefully, my new plan will be a way to again produce more posts that will help to keep you informed.

You will see three sections in each new post, and each will contain the links to stories and commentaries that I know you will be interested in.

Since today is the first time I've made this effort, it may mean that additional adjustments to this new endeavor will be made down the road. But the biggest adjustment will be to my attitude about "change." Admittedly, there are times when I tend to shun much variation to the way things are done.

Gone will be my ability to see the reaction to various columns that I have posted about. It was the realization, though, that made me think that wasn't information that affects what you will gain from the new format. The historical information I have at my fingertips, however, will help me to determine which stories and columns to include that will keep you coming back for more.

Change can be good. We'll find out soon if this is the change you really wanted to see. It might just be better than the "change" you've seen in the last three years under Obama.

"The Harbinger" by Jonathan Cahn, a messianic rabbi from the Jerusalem Center-Beth Israel Congregation in Wayne, N.J., deciphers stunning connections between what some may think is a cryptic biblical prophecy to the news events happening right now, in our current time.

Maybe now is the right moment to examine all the theories and some of the shocking facts.

The hackers known as "Anonymous," who helped organize and support the Occupy movement's protests, have released an online survivor guide for citizens "in case of a violent revolution in your country."

The guide warns protests can be a "bloody mess." It trains rioters on how to avoid tear gas, rubber bullets and live ammunition.

The 15-page PDF document claims police will not help protesters and may actually be enemies of the revolution while warning that protest groups may be infiltrated by "fake civilians."

As anyone who follows the Drudge Report, Hotair (or “Hot Gas” if you’re Gov. Rick Perry), or The Blaze knows, President Obama’s Hawaiian vacation will cost the American taxpayer quite a chunk of change.

Understandably, some Americans are bothered by the his decision to take such a costly vacation during these economically unstable times.

Perhaps because this irritation is so sharply felt, people are finding new and different ways to vent their frustration. One such outlet is a website called Wasted in Hawaii: President Obama’s Hawaiian Binge. The website includes information on the cost of president‘s trip as well as an interactive tool that allows users to send messages to the president’s @BarackObama Twitter handle.

Obama spies, freedom dies ~ By Roger Hedgecock

Roger Hedgecock is trying to find out why there's no outrage from the left regarding Obama's abuse of power and the Constitution's 4th Amendment rights. As we know, the liberals' favorite talking points prior to Barack Obama's inauguration was how George W. Bush was violating our rights with the Patriot act and the water-boarding of several terrorists. But now? Roger writes:
But now that Obama has made a virtual American KGB out of the Justice Department, the FBI, and the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the CDC, such spying and tracking is becoming standard operating procedure. Where is the liberal angst and outrage? All you hear is crickets chirping.

Liberals screamed like mashed cats when George Bush championed the Patriot Act in the wake of the Sept. 11 attacks, predicting that precious constitutional protections would be routinely violated by the Bush government.

It turns out liberals were right. But not about George Bush. He used the Patriot Act to monitor communications and transactions of suspected terrorists – particularly when the terrorist was, say, calling Pakistan.

Liberal fears that this power would be abused and turned on ordinary American citizens has turned out to be right – in the Obama administration.

During the 2008 campaign, Obama promised a domestic security force equal in funding and force to the Pentagon. This is one promise he is keeping.

The 67,000 strong Transportation Security Administration has morphed into taking nude pictures and/or engaging in full genital groping of airline passengers in the name of safety.

Thanks, Obama! ~ By Patrice Lewis

It's been a long time since ordinary Americans could rally so strongly behind a cause they believe in, namely their freedoms and the survival of our nation. "Ordinary citizens are rising up, like a phoenix," notes Robin of Berkeley. "This awakening might prove to be Obama's most enduring legacy. The miracle of a soccer mom attending a protest for the very first time; an elderly man bravely stepping up to the mike at a town hall; strangers forming lifelong bonds at tea parties or online, at sites like American Thinker. People like me snapping out of the leftist trance."
This column by Patrice Lewis was written before Tuesday's midterm election, and now we have one more thing to thank Obama for! Patrice explains, even before it happened, why the Republicans were able to win back the House of Representatives and win a few more seats in the U. S. Senate. Obama helped to wake up WE the people.

      Video provided by TheREALjohnny2k

And now that we are awake, I wouldn't think that any of the surviving Democrats will dare to try to pass any more Obama's socialist agenda during the lame duck session between now and the end of the year. Many of the surviving Democrats in the House and Senate barely kept their seats. They are now aware that WE the People are awake and watching their every move. Just sayin'...

Now, desperate and scared, the Democrats are trying the usual tactics of name-calling ("Racists!") and intimidation to quell the uprising of dissent. It ain't working.

When Tea Party Nation President Judson Phillips looked over a crowd of supporters and asked, "How many of you – before the tea-party movement – were never involved in politics?" – more than 90 percent raised their hands. Phillips smiled and responded, "Thank you, Barack Obama."
      Thanks, Obama!

"Barack Obama is the best thing that has happened to America in the last 100 years," reads the opening line. "Truly, he is the savior of America's future. He is the best thing ever."

This sounds like normal liberal tripe – until I realized it's true.

These words came from a superb article by a rancher and real estate broker named Gary Hubbell, and his sentiments are echoed across the conservative blogosphere and online news sites.

"There would be no tea-party movement without him [Obama]," notes Joseph Farah. "There would be no grass-roots uprising without him. … There would be no awakening of the electorate without him. There would be little focus on the Constitution … without him. There would be no nostalgia about the good old days of American prosperity and triumph without him."

"One of the blessings of the left's assent to power last year – there aren't many – is that ordinary Americans have glimpsed what the left looks like without the mask," says Craige McMillan. "How did we get from 'hope and change' to 'deceit and tyranny'? The short answer is: America had forgotten what the left really looked like."

"For decades, the left has largely controlled the news media, the arts, the universities and the entertainment media," writes Dennis Prager. "And vast numbers of Americans have imbibed these leftist messages and the leftist critiques of conservatives. What these Americans have never been able to do is to see what the left would actually do if in power."

You see, it's been quite a while since a liberal government has been able to fully indulge, virtually unchallenged, in their progressive agenda. When people actually see what it's like, they are horrified. In other words, "every once in a while Americans need to be reminded just how dark the dark side really is."

"… it's clear President Obama does not understand economics, and his goal is to advance a leftist agenda of massive spending, more social welfare entitlement programs and a huge expansion of government and increased taxes," says former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay.

We've had president after president of splendid mediocrity. That endless mediocrity and the endless chipping away of our constitutional freedoms have dulled us into an endless state of apathy.

It was apathy that got Obama into office – boredom or laziness or curiosity about the nebulous "change" a charismatic Obama promised us.

And since Hope and Change came roaring into office, this country hasn't been the same. The socialist treason that has eaten away the foundation of our nation for many years – virtually unnoticed by an apathetic populace – is now being recognized. Obama and his unelected czars are showing us just how viciously socialism can destroy an economy and two centuries of liberty.

"Not only are Americans waking up to the true nature of the 'change,'" says Roger Hedgecock, "they are dumbfounded at the cost. … Perhaps these younger voters finally realized that the Obama 'change' would require higher taxes for the rest of their lives and the lives of their children and grandchildren."

Hence the birth of the tea party.

"With the help of an incompetently led Congress," writes Herman Cain, "Obama has successfully awakened a citizen's movement that has stunned the political establishment in both parties. … They can't seem to understand why people are upset. Maybe they're not listening. The administration, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, other Democrats, the Obama mainstream media and other liberals have responded to the citizens' movement with nothing but name-calling attacks on the tea-party people. Those tactics have not worked. In fact, they appear to have further energized the citizens' movement. Demonization and intimidation of 'We the People' is not working."

Unnerved by the gathering strength of the tea party, the left attempted a pathetic counter-movement called (cough) One Nation. "The smarter and more devious elements of this movement … understand that it will create more unsustainable dependency on government, which will inevitably lead to chaos and the collapse of the nation and ideas they detest."

In fact, the whole tea-party movement scares the pants off the progressives. "The intensity and nastiness of the attacks on the tea-party movement," notes Tom Tancredo, "tell us how much the left fears ordinary American citizens who take an interest in politics." [Emphasis added.] "The only answer the Obama team has is to smear the opponents as un-American."

These name-calling tactics have always been used to silence citizens, but it's gotten darker and more evil. "The [Freedom Index] poll … showed more Americans now believe their fellow citizens risk punishment, penalty or some sort of public retribution for speaking their minds freely." Remember Joe the Plumber? And Obama wasn't even president yet!

Whenever this administration's minions make fun of all the good, decent, ordinary, hard-working folks who chose to exercise their First Amendment rights and march on Washington – and when they're called racists, Nazis, KKK and other charming endearments – then the citizens of this country wake up a little more. By the millions.

What other president in recent history has sent people scrambling to read the Constitution and Bill of Rights in great depth? To make a best-seller of books like "The 5000 Year Leap"? To make people more aware of their God-given rights, not the "rights" made up by government?

Left acts to shut down talk radio ~ By Roger Hedgecock

"Debate, dissent, disagreement – it's just so distracting." Oh, of course, that would be something that the commie in Venezuela, Hugo Chavez, would say, right? Or wait, you mean that there are people that would say this in America where we have the 1st Amendment? Tell me it ain't so! Unfortunately, Roger can't tell me that, because in this column he tells us about a few loud mouth loony lefties in this country that think that way. Scary stuff. Just sayin'...
Talk radio informs and drives the debate in this country like no other part of American media, particularly now that radio and the Internet have begun to merge.

Is this a threat to "The Party Line is the Truth" crowd? In Sarah Palin's immortal words, "You betcha!"

As the tea-party movement has shown, if the left wants to fall back on its bully boy ways to intimidate radio stations, supporters will turn out in far larger numbers to protect and defend talk radio's right to exist.

      By Roger Hedgecock

      Posted: May 24, 2010 ~ 1:00 am Eastern

      © 2010

Since early 2008, with the failure of leftist competitor Air America, the left has been scheming to shut down conservative talk radio – the only part of American media not dominated by the left. It's all in the name of "fairness," of course.

The Obama "transformation of America" has been slowed and, in some cases, derailed by talk radio-driven discussions, debate and demonstrations.

With elections looming that threaten leftist control of the federal government, the scheming is over. The left is taking action.

Citizens for Civility and Accountability in Media, or CCAM, has been formed specifically to pressure radio stations to fire popular conservative talk hosts. First target: Fresno, Calif., talker KMJ (AM and FM).

In the name of CCAM, Les Kimber, former president of the West Coast Black Publishers Association and publisher of the California Advocate newspaper in Fresno, joined by Ellie Bluestein, formerly Raging Grandmas of CodePink, demonstrated outside the studios of KMJ last Thursday demanding that KMJ fire Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and other conservative talk hosts for spreading hate and inciting violence.

Kimber charged that "KMJ programming is dominated by ... talk hosts that are anti-government, anti-President Obama ..." He went on to declare that this kind of talk "creates an atmosphere of divisiveness that allows for the real possibility of violence toward elected officials including the president of the United States."

He offered no examples of this connection between critical talk and subsequent violence because there are none to offer – unless you attend one of the lectures given by radical imams.

During the Bush years, criticism and dissent were "patriotic." Today, the left embraces its inner censor.

Bluestein, a lifelong leftist (Hands Off Cuba Committee to CodePink) asserted at the demonstration that "radio stations should be responsible for telling the truth" – only her "truth," of course.

Catching herself playing censor, she quickly added, "I have no problem with a radio station expressing a point of view, but I do not believe a radio station has the right to mislead the public." Heavens no, Ellie. There's only one truth, isn't there? Debate, dissent, disagreement – it's just so distracting.

RINOS' last stand in California ~ By Roger Hedgecock

Though I am familiar with California politics, being here in the land of Bibles and guns of the great Midwest, I know many of the readers of this blog live in California. So, I am posting this great Roger Hedgecock column for those of you in the Golden State, and any other state that may be stuck with nothing but RINOs for candidates.

If I was voting in California, though, I would be very worried, especially with the front-runner Meg Whitman, who happens to be influenced by former Obama jobs czar and Communist, Van Jones. That would be enough for me to pull the lever for a different RINO running for the Republicrat nomination for governor. Just sayin'...

But as California becomes the "Greece" of the U.S. with the state caught between the rock of a strangled economy and the hard place of implacable public sector unions who won't give up a penny in wages or benefits, does Poizner have the proposals which recognize the problem and offer solutions?

Not really. Much like the recent faux campaign in the U.K. in which all three parties refused to tell British voters that Margaret Thatcher was right when she said socialism would fail when it ran out of other peoples' money, the campaign for governor of California is some kind of opera where all the candidates avoid mentioning the coming calamity of certain state government insolvency.

Unlike the straight talk and decisive actions of real Reagan conservatives like New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, the California governor's race is a masquerade of RINOS.
      By Roger Hedgecock

The prairie fire of a political movement known as the Taxed Enough Already party has changed the politics in nearly every state this year.

I say "nearly" because the last stand for RINOS, for what we called "country club Republicans" in the Goldwater days, for the "we're not conservatives," "Democrat lite" Republicans – is here in California.

The major candidates for governor (Arnold is at long last term limited out) are former eBay CEO Meg Whitman and state insurance commissioner Steve Poizner. Neither candidate is generating grass-roots, tea-party enthusiasm.

Whitman has a compelling success story in creating jobs in private business. Her political story is less stellar. She didn't bother to vote until recently.

As a candidate, she rules out across-the-board tax cuts in a state with some of the highest tax rates in the country – a state that is now experiencing (as Art Laffer would predict) falling tax revenues.

Whitman's reaction to the Arizona immigration law was a vow to veto any such legislation if elected governor. She has supported "comprehensive" immigration reform – code for illegal-alien amnesty.

Whitman backed the federal TARP bailout bill. As a member of Goldman Sachs' board of directors in 2001 and 2002, she benefited from financial investments now banned.

She professes an admiration ("I got to know him very well") for Van Jones after she met him on an Arctic cruise dedicated to showing the passengers the ravages of "global warming." Apparently, as a result of Mr. Jones' influence, Whitman will not support repeal of California's job-killing state "cap and trade" law.

Whitman's appeal for votes (her $59 million donation to herself has drenched the state in TV and radio ads) in the California Republican primary June 8 comes down to two themes: "I know how to create jobs" and "The other candidate is no conservative, either."

Whitman, by every account I've seen, was a superb private business executive. Her collaborative work practices applied during a tech boom inspired creative non-union employees to create wealth for more people over a shorter period of time than has rarely been seen in history. None of this experience will translate to success running California state government.

Hold 2012 Republican Convention in Phoenix ~ By Roger Hedgecock

Roger discusses why Arizona passed the immigration law and how those on the left reacted to it, and what the Republicans should do to counter the boycott and show some solid leadership. I love the idea of the "buycott" to counter the boycott. I just heard about the "buycott" a couple days ago.

You can call me an Arizona supporter!

Obama's cynical political game playing while ignoring the real threat to the people of Arizona was not lost on legal immigrants in Arizona. CNN ran a story Friday quoting (with evident surprise) Hispanic Arizonans who supported the state's crackdown on illegals. What the elites miss here is that "Hispanics" are not a monolithic bloc. Legal immigrants from Mexico and their descendants are as concerned about the increasing violence and as supportive of Arizona's actions as any other citizen of that state.

Once again – this brave action by the state of Arizona is an opportunity for the Republican Party to show it is worthy to lead the country in a revival of America as a land of opportunity for every citizen and for every legal immigrant.

If the Republican Party really wants to win the election this year, it must take a stand to rally the majority of Americans who increasingly oppose Obamanism and want the Constitution, an opportunity society and a free-market economy restored in America. In the face of calls for the boycott of all things Arizonan, the RNC should immediately award the 2012 Republican National Convention to Phoenix, Ariz.

In the absence of federal government willingness to enforce the law at the border, the Arizona Legislature and Gov. Jan Brewer have acted bravely to defend Arizonans against an increasingly bold, violent invasion of Arizona by illegal aliens by enacting a law which requires local law enforcement officers during the course of a "lawful stop, detention or arrest" to ask for proof of citizenship or legal immigration status. Those without documentation are then turned over to federal authorities for deportation.

Federal law has required legal immigrants to carry documentary proof of their status since 1940. No recent federal administration has enforced this law.

The need for this law was dramatically underscored when a Pinal County sheriff deputy was gunned down by an AK-47 armed illegal-alien drug smuggler during a routine traffic stop Friday.

Thanks to the constant violence between rival Mexican-based drug cartels operating in Arizona, Phoenix has become the kidnapping capital of the U.S.  Home invasions, armed robbery and drug trafficking reach into every community in the state. Arizonans have had enough. In a state where "open carry" of guns is legal and increasingly seen, the legislature recently passed a bill to allow "concealed carry" as a matter of right as well.

Gov. Brewer has appealed to the Obama regime no less than six times for federal government help with no reply. Sheriff Joe Arpaio's efforts to apprehend illegals did get a response from Obama – a Justice Department investigation into whether the sheriff had violated the rights of the illegals!

Every poll shows widespread American support for the principled stand taken by the state of Arizona. But, in another example of the gap between the "two Americas," American media and academic and political elites have denounced Arizona, with former State Sen. Alfredo Gutierrez speaking for many leftists, calling for a boycott to put a "shocking stop to the economy of Arizona."

Ignoring the fact that any such boycott would harm the jobs of all Arizona workers, the Boycott Arizona movement has targeted Major League Baseball with calls to cancel the Cactus League and the All Star Game set this year in Arizona. Conventions scheduled for Arizona are under pressure from the left to cancel. The cities of Los Angeles and San Francisco have joined the boycott, calling on California to cancel all state contracts with any firm from Arizona.

Radical open-border activists even targeted Arizona Iced Tea, which is actually made in New York.

Law-and-order Americans have struck back with a national "buycott" of Arizona. A sampling of tea-party activists across the country last week, for example, revealed an avalanche of messages from families redirecting their vacation planning to include "the Grand Canyon this year." Chambers of commerce in Arizona report a surge of inquiries from out-of-state companies seeking to do business with Arizona companies. A caller to my radio show Friday reported he had bought a home in Phoenix that week in response to the calls for a buycott.

Obamanites get violent in support of the agenda ~ By Roger Hedgecock

Are we getting very close to the "tipping point?" Roger thinks so. In fact, he says the tipping point is already here.
Get ready folks. As the U.S. Navy Seals say, "The only easy day was yesterday." Ahead lies a long, hot summer.

The Obama regime will attempt to stuff the ballot box in this year's elections with amnestied illegal aliens (undocumented Democrats) herded by reconstituted ACORN shock troops emboldened by loosened voter registration standards in the states.

Patriots opposing Obama's push to stuff the rest of his agenda down the country's throat can expect the full force of government pushback. The tipping point is here.

Last Saturday, a brick bearing the message "stop the right wing" smashed through the window of the Republican Party headquarters in Marion, Ohio. An Obama campaign contributor was arrested last week after threatening to kill Rep. Cantor and his wife because they are Jews. The registered voter in the "Christian militia" arrests turns out to be a Democrat.

Fill in your own incident – the real dangerous political violence in America is coming from the Obamanite left.

Be warned. The Obama regime considers opposition to its long march to "transform America" illegitimate and a fair target for government retaliation and violent retribution.

You can tell this is true not only from the spreading incidences of such violence, but also from the frantic propaganda assault by the government-controlled media claiming that the violence is actually coming from conservative opponents to the Obamanite agenda. Read your Alinsky. "Community organizers" are taught to accuse your enemies of using the dastardly tactics you are using on them.

In Sunday's New York Times, the tea-party movement is compared to the violent Weather Underground of the 1960s. A recent picture of a peaceful tea-party protest is placed side by side with a black-and-white file photo of violent Weather Underground radicals – and guess who's in that picture? None other than bomber Bill Ayers himself.

So, the newspaper of record for the Obamanite left wants you to believe that peacefully standing up for the restoration of the Constitution and for the return to an opportunity society and a free-market economy is the equivalent of bombing the Pentagon to help America's enemies win the Vietnam War.

We've been through this "left slimes conservatives to cover up its own violent tactics" before.

In the book "Harvest of Rage," subtitled "Why Oklahoma City is only the Beginning," author Joel Dyer blamed Reagan for the desperation of farmers in the '80s which caused Timothy McVeigh's bombing and, says the author, will inspire many more returning disgruntled right-wing veterans to similar violence. Really Joel?

At the time of the Oklahoma City bombing, President Clinton publicly blamed Rush Limbaugh and talk radio for the climate of violence that led to McVeigh, ignoring and suppressing all contrary evidence of McVeigh's ties to radical Islam.

This false template lives on in the Obama regime.

Organizer of 'racist' UC party was black ~ By Roger Hedgecock

Roger Hedgecock explains the firestorm created by the Compton Cookout.

Last week a party – the Compton Cookout – was held off-campus near the University of California San Diego, and the firestorm it has created has been massive: Protest marches, teach-ins, protesters who walked out of the teach-ins and campus investigations have ensued. The administration for its part immediately placed blame on perpetrators they believed to be responsible – a so-called white fraternity, Pi Kappa Alpha.

Many have cited, with outrage, the Facebook Compton Cookout invitation urging males to wear "straight up jerseys" or a "White T (size XXXL smallest acceptable)." Females were asked to come as "ghetto chicks" who "don't speak well, have short, nappy hair" and "usually have gold teeth, start fights and drama, and wear cheap clothes."

The rest of the invitation went on to describe the location of the party and the food and drinks available, such as chicken and watermelon.

Despite the denials by Pi Kappa Alpha that they were not behind the cookout, the blame remains on PKA and its white members. Garron Engstrom, chapter president of the Pi Kappa Alpha, said, "The fraternity regrets the display of ignorance and error of judgment made by any individual members who may have attended or were associated via social media with the racially offensive party." The administration continued its Mike Nifong-like prosecution of anyone white who may have attended the event.

The truth was finally revealed on my radio show last night when the true organizer, a self-described "black, crime comedian" named Jiggaboo Jones claimed responsibility for the event. In fact, Mr. Jones disclosed that similar parties have been held in past years going back as far as 2005. Mr. Jones further stated that he recently hosted a similar event with an even raunchier title at UNLV just a few days ago.

Government schools are watching you ~ By Roger Hedgecock

Roger Hedgecock brings up a story I heard about a day or two ago, about the school district that could remotely turn on web cams on the computers that they had given their students. He brings up several of the issues about why case is so bad. I am sure we could think of many other reasons why this is so bad!
When the government schools can put a "peeping tom" camera and microphone into our homes in students' computers in the name of "security," we have no rights left.

The Lower Marion School District, which runs two high schools in this suburb of Philadelphia, gives an Apple laptop (MacBook) to all 2,300 of its high-school students for use during the school year.

Programs like this throughout the country have proven popular with students, teachers and parents. The computers enhance the students' capabilities in understanding assignments, keeping track of deadlines for work and researching topics, for example. Teachers and parents can better track performance in the classroom and with homework assignments.

But Harriton High School student Blake Robbins discovered a more sinister use of these computers by the school administration – a use that students, teachers and parents were not aware of.

Is this happening in your school district?

On Nov. 11, Blake was summoned to the office of Vice Principal Lindy Matsko, who told him that he had "engaged in improper behavior in his home."

On the CBS "Early Show Saturday Edition," Blake recounted that Ms. Matsko accused him of selling drugs and taking pills and showed him a photograph of him at home taken by the webcam in his MacBook as proof. Blake said he told the vice principal that the photo showed him eating candy.

The incident revealed that the school district had the power to remotely turn on the webcam in the MacBook at any time and record the images.

Blake's parents have sued the school district in federal court accusing the district of spying on the students and their families and asking for an injunction preventing the district from remotely activating the webcam, or recalling the MacBooks for fear the district will erase evidence of the cameras' activation.

Obama attacks Toyota ~ By Roger Hedgecock

      Commentary from WorldNetDaily
Roger Hedgecock By Roger Hedgecock Posted: February 01, 2010 ~ 1:00 am Eastern © 2010 Toyota owners stormed dealerships all over the country last week demanding "fixes" for "defects" described in wildly inflammatory press reports. Toyota apologized for "defects" that to date are still being investigated. Before whatever problems might exist had been determined and before any "fix" has been found, the government ordered Toyota to begin the largest recall of vehicles in automotive history. Toyota then shut down its U.S. plants and stopped selling eight of its popular models, including Camry and Corolla. Toyota claims these actions were "voluntary," but Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood was quoted as saying the Obama administration had ordered the recall. The sales suspension affects about 56 percent of all Toyota and Lexus vehicles sold last year. The nation's Toyota dealers estimate they stand to lose $2.5 billion each month that sales of these popular models are suspended. The current cascade of troubles for Toyota started on Aug. 28, 2009, when a San Diego family died in their Lexus in an horrific crash caused by what is known as SUA – sudden unintended acceleration. The actual cause of SUA is not known. Rumors about a "stuck" gas pedal or faulty software or the floor mat interfering with the gas pedal are still rumors. An investigation is still underway. Disclosure: My family drives Toyota cars (a Prius and a Lexus SUV), and we have never had a problem with these excellent products. On our cars (and every other Toyota vehicle I've seen), the floor mats are firmly secured by hooks and cannot interfere with the gas pedal. And the gas pedal works just as it should – press down and the car moves faster. Ease up and the car slowly decelerates. Nonetheless, Toyota faces a perfect storm from SUA. But is government "greed" a factor here? As a co-owner of Toyota rivals GM and Chrysler, is the Obama administration and its jihad against Toyota "consumer protection" or revenge against a successful, non-union, red state based rival? Given what Rahm Emanuel said about crisis as an opportunity to "advance the agenda," this question deserves closer attention. READ FULL STORY >
