VIDEO: Why do Liberals attack black Conservatives?

There is a real truth that people on the Left need to know, but they refuse to hear it or believe it. I pretty much made the point in a blog I just posted recently, called, "Seven Hard Truths Liberals Just Don’t Want To Hear ~ By Kurt Schlichter." It really fits well into the puzzle, one of the pieces that I will give you here. This is the part where the Liberals have one basic attack strategy: Attack those that make their cause known for whatever it is!

While this great country has drifted to the Left, there will soon be more and more people that will get it! The black Conservatives are showing that there is a great alternative to Lyndon Baynes Johnson's Great Society. Sticking to values and principles that many of us grew up with will help anyone that wants to take responsibility for our future, regardless of race! But, heck, if those on the Left think that they can hide the truth forever that not all black American's have fallen for the lie that America willingly keeps them from prospering, there will be people like me that will serve the Truth to them until somebody comes and pries my keyboard from under my cold, dead hands.

As Kevin Jackson of the Blacksphere explains it:

Even Bill Maher is getting it. Maher was discussing Paul Ryan’s comments about what’s happening in the inner cities, and Bell decided to ring the racism bell. W Kamau Bell, the host of a show called “Totally Biased” proved to be exactly that. At least he’s honest about his racism, though he still needs to come to grip with his ignorance.

The black community needs honesty. The black Conservatives will provide the honesty that they need, but it is going to be difficult to get people to find out about the truth with the bombardment of the disinformation from people like Jamilah Lemieux that spew out their anti-Conservative disparagement, even when the messenger is black. And, surely, when the messenger is white like me. Jamilah won't like this post, I can assure you of that! Just sayin'...

Seven Hard Truths Liberals Just Don’t Want To Hear ~ By Kurt Schlichter

Liberalism is magical thinking promulgated by cynical exploiters upon the eternally gullible and the chronically lazy. It’s a political Ponzi scheme, and today’s participants are the unlucky marks coming in at the end of the grift.

Liberalism will collapse of its own dead weight. And when it does, you true believers better be ready for the hard truth that there is no such thing as a free lunch.

I need to continue on from what Kurt Schlichter said was Hard Truth Number 7:

And that leads to Hard Truth Number 7: This can’t go on.

Lady [Margaret] Thatcher famously formulated that, “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.” And you will.

What I need to tell you is there are even more Hard Truths that you should know about:

Hard Truth Number 8: When the Ponzi system goes broke, the most likely result will be tyranny, and probably genocide. You probably will not be able to vote Conservatives into power; forget about trying to remove the likes of Harry Reid from control of the Senate; and we won't be taking back the White House anytime soon, either. In places like North Korea, the Dear Leader gets 100% of the vote.

Hard Truth Number 9:  There are Liberals that knew very well about the first eight Hard Truths, and that was their plan all along! Well, their plan for at least 100 years, anyway, was to upend our culture, eliminate religion, divide the population by race and class warfare, and dumb down the kids with the indoctrination centers they call public schools...

But, perhaps, there is one more Hard Truth to discuss.  What I consider to be Hard Truth Number 10: There are hardcore, gun-toting, Bible clinging "redneck" patriots out here that are going to make your plan much more difficult to achieve. This is Amazing America!!! This isn't the end of what some of us have to say.  It is not over yet!  I'm just sayin'...

It’s difficult to understand liberals when you don’t live in their sheltered cocoon of participation trophies, faux caring and feel-good lies.

Those of us who labor in the real world – who built this country, who make it work and who defend it – deal with reality. Most liberals don’t. And that can be baffling, because when they speak they sound like visitors from the planet Nimrod.

Now, some liberals do understand the real world. They are the cynical liberal icons, the ones who know their entire ideology is a scam designed to wring power and wealth from the gullible.

They are the rich ones who cry about poverty and racism then gleefully consign poor and minority kids to public school failure factories by doing the bidding of their unionized teacher partners and torpedoing educational choice. Their own kids wouldn’t get within a mile of an inner city public school, except maybe to swing by in the Mercedes C-Class they got for their 16th birthday to buy some weed from the gangbangers infesting it.

Video: The Enemy of the Press.... Finally?

I'll need to set up this video for you. I'm sure this was not a front page story in your local newspaper. As Andrew Beaujon wrote in a column on Poynter.com:

Nope!  Definitely not in this newspaper!

New York Times reporter James Risen, who is fighting an order that he testify in the trial of Jeffrey Sterling, a former CIA officer accused of leaking information to him, opened the conference earlier by saying the Obama administration is “the greatest enemy of press freedom that we have encountered in at least a generation.” The administration wants to “narrow the field of national security reporting,” Risen said, to “create a path for accepted reporting.” Anyone journalist who exceeds those parameters, Risen said, “will be punished.”

Now, all you have to know, is that Obama has his ways to silence dissent.  But it doesn't just happen to Conservatives.  Maybe the liberals will finally get the idea that violations of the First and Fourth Amendments can affect them too.  You don't have to be a Conservative to be an enemy of the State or that Obama could be an enemy of the Press.  Just sayin'...

Rush Limbaugh: Guns for Yee, But Not for Thee

RUSH: From the Los Angeles Times: “Federal prosecutors unsealed an indictment against state Sen. Leland Yee in court Wednesday, accusing him of conspiring to commit wire fraud and traffic firearms.” Military grade weapons Senator Yee allegedly trafficking. Senator Leland Yee was among the most vocal anti-Second Amendment Democrats in the country. This guy wanted to eliminate it. He didn’t want you to have any guns, and here he is indicted for trafficking in military grade weapons.

“In all, 26 people, including former school board president Keith Jackson, were indicted on charges related to an extensive crime ring headed by well-known Chinatown figure Raymond Chow.” (interruption) Yeah, he’s also known as the Shrimp Boy. Raymond Chow, the Shrimp Boy. He was also arrested and charged. Now, Raymond Chow, the Shrimp Boy, is head of the Wo Hop To gang. It’s a well-known criminal gang, California, Shrimp Boy, Raymond Chow heads it up.

Truly a shocker, an anti-2nd Amendment Liberal Democrat, Leland Yee, had been indicted and arrested on Wednesday (Mar 26, 2014) morning for various Federal crimes, including the trafficking of guns. It is the epic level of hypocrisy that this story represents which makes it so important for people to know about. Because of a long on-going FBI investigation, it will be impossible for President Barack Obama to call it "another phony scandal." In fact, he won't be able to blame it on George W. Bush, either, as the investigation didn't get underway until Obama was in office. And, it's unlikely that the FBI turned over illegal weapons to Mexican drug cartels like in the Fast and Furious operation run by the Justice Department and ATF.

It was this part that I heard Thursday morning that kindled my interest in this story:

RUSH: But, man, they’re going after Democrats and they’re nailing them. It’s like they’ve been doing this for years under the cover of darkness and everything else in a way that is perhaps saving the country.

Could this mean that other people are being investigated "under the cover of darkness" that we don't know about yet? Is there somebody inside the FBI that wants to clean up the corruption? Wouldn't it be great to see Eric Holder, or even President Obama, taking the perp walk? Okay, I was just dreaming. Just sayin'...

RUSH: Folks, the FBI is up to something. The FBI is raiding and arresting Democrats all over this country. You know, it’s incredible. I mean, Democrat mayors, and in California, a secretary of state, old buddy Leland Yee, man, is this guy in bad trouble. This guy’s in deep. Details coming up on Leland Yee. In fact, Sacramento, local media, my adoptive hometown, they feel so sorry for Senator Yee because, A, he got caught in a massive gunrunning operation. They feel sorry for him. He got caught in a massive gunrunning operation. He’s one of the biggest anti-Amendment Two people you’ll find in the Democrat Party. He’s the biggest hypocrite you can find. He’s out there saying nobody can have their guns, and here he is running ‘em.

AKs, folks! We’re not talking about Saturday night specials. This guy’s into the big stuff that kills people, like automatic weapons. That’s the automatic word for liberals. You say automatic weapons and they just have conniptions. So the local Sacramento media’s feeling so sorry for Senator Yee because this happened to him. He didn’t do anything, see, it happened. And then they really feel bad because he was criticized by me yesterday.

I’m gonna get to all this FBI stuff. I’ll tell you, this is fascinating to me, what the FBI is doing, and they’ve been doing this for a while. These investigations that they’ve been engaged in have been going on for years. If I didn’t know better — and I don’t know better, I’d have no idea, but it just seems like, I mean, the number of years this has been going on, it’s almost as though somebody — and the FBI’s part of the Regime. Obama runs the FBI. They’re part of the executive branch. But, man, they’re going after Democrats and they’re nailing them. Palin Endorses Ernst in Iowa Senate Race

Palin's endorsement, of course, playfully referred to Ernst's pig castration/pork-cutting TV ad that has the internet buzzing and left Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon cringing.

In accepting Palin's endorsement, Ernst, who has also been backed by Mitt Romney, told Breitbart.com that she was "proud to stand with the Mama Grizzly against big spenders in Washington like Bruce Braley and Nancy Pelosi."

"Sarah Palin is an inspiration to those of us who want to protect life, defend the Second Amendment, and get Washington out of our wallets," Ernst said.

Funny thing about politics, especially in presidential elections; the campaigning starts long before the next election. And I'm wondering if the Mama Grizzly herself, Sarah Palin, has started her 2016 bid for the GOP nomination. By strongly endorsing a U.S. Senate candidate from Iowa for the GOP nomination, Joni Ernst, Sarah Palin has created an opening to make a lot of speeches here in Iowa over the next seven months, and probably for the next year or two.  And if Joni Ernst wins the nomination, and then the election in November, you can bet that she'll be a huge supporter for a Sarah Palin presidential bid in 2016.

And right after I found out about Joni Ernst via this article about Sarah Palin's endorsement, I happened to see this segment on The Five:

The only other GOP U.S. Senate candidate in Iowa that I was aware of until yesterday was Mark Jacobs. There are six candidates running, and now I know of two. I am assuming that Jacobs' campaign is going well, as a lot of TV advertising money has been spent so far. But now, there is a big-time competitor in the mix, and based on the way it is starting out, Joni Ernst is going to make a race out of it.

Palin's endorsement of Ernst is also well-timed, coming one day after the GOP research group America Rising released a video of Braley calling Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley a "farmer from Iowa who never went to law school" at a Texas fundraiser.

Just a note to Bruce Braley: Sen. Grassley did NOT vote for Obamacare, and you did, without ever reading the bill... and you're the lawyer? Just sayin'...

One day after her campaign ad went viral, conservative Iowa Senate candidate Joni Ernst was endorsed by former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin in her bid to gain the Republican nomination among a crowded field of candidates in the June 3 primary election.

"If Nebraska’s Deb Fischer can see through the bull in Washington, then Iowa’s Joni Ernst can help her cut through the pork," Palin wrote on her Facebook page.

"Growing up on a hog farm in southwest Iowa, Joni has taken her 'pork cutting' skills to the Iowa State Senate, where she has been a champion for life, small government, and lower taxes – voting for the largest tax cut in Iowa history."

Palin also cited Ernst's background as a "veteran of the Iraq war [who] continues her service as a Lt. Colonel in the Iowa Army National Guard" and her pro-Second Amendment beliefs as owner of a concealed weapon license and "A" rating by the National Rifle Association as reasons Iowans should back Ernst.

"She's been a fighter for freedom both in and out of uniform," Palin said. "Iowa – come together and send this Midwest Mama Grizzly roaring to Washington on her Harley so she can join with the good guys to get our country back on track!"

Video: The journalism in the Flight MH370 mystery is bazaar

While Bill O'Reilly and Bernie Goldberg are flipping out about the journalism in the coverage of the missing Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370, they were forgetting that it took at least a week to determine that the missing flight went down in the South Indian Ocean, if that is actually what happened. And after all the various reporting by the mainstream media, the Black Hole Network (CNN), Fox News Channel, the New Media, and even citizen journalists, there's going to be a strong chance that there will still be plenty of doubt about any forthcoming official explanation.

When I watched this segment, the first thought I had was that O'Reilly and Goldberg had been reading my blogs. No, I never predicted what happened to Flight MH370, but I definitely nailed it on the media and public reaction to the mystery. The only thing that I ever predicted, which goes along with the theme of the bazaar journalism, was what I wrote on Tuesday, March 11, 2014:

New reports are still coming in, and in later posts, I'll be giving you updates. One thing you will probably never see me write, though, is "mystery solved." We many never find out for sure what happened, or we may never hear the truth about what happened.

It wasn't what O'Reilly said in this segment that irked me, it was the arrogant way that he says that he had it right for a week, and that any other journalists were only exploiting the story for their ratings. Yes, I will agree, there were news reporters and their guests that were way out there, but I think that most of us, We the People, are not We the Clueless like O'Reilly tries to make us seem to be.   Except for the low-info knuckledraggers that never follow the news, most of us are able to discern the stories that were informative from those of the conspiracy theorists. Well, usually...

I have to agree with Geraldo Rivera when he said, "You have to cover all the bases." In an investigation, you have to evaluate all of the leads and clues, gather the evidence, and then possibly make conclusions. Now that they believe the missing Flight MH370 is in the South Indian Ocean, based on the clues, the next part of the case will be trying to determine how and why the plane flew those seven or eight hours to land in the drink.  Finding the aircraft, and possibly some remains of passengers, would do a lot to bring closure for the victims' families, but knowing the actual cause for sure may take years, if ever.  But, because of the "bazaar journalism," there will be plenty of people that will never believe any "official explanation." Just sayin'...

VIDEO: It could amount to giving up our freedom of internet access!

This segment raised many more questions than it answered. I know the Mystery of the Missing Flight MH370 is still the big news, but this story must not be dismissed. Our freedom is at stake.

Of course, we should definitely take action, like maybe yell and scream about it, because Obama's plan to shed our control of the internet is a very bad idea. And this is not just one of those plans with noble intentions that lead to unintended consequences. This is much more like an evil intention with consequences that are very much intended.

What I haven't come close to figuring out is why Bill Clinton is against the internet transition plan. Look up the definition of "Globalist" and Bill Clinton's picture will appear. Is Bill Clinton just trying to protect his legacy of having the Vice-President that invented the internet?  I really don't know.

Report: Investigators Now Looking for ‘Mystery Woman’ who Called Malaysia Airlines Pilot Before Takeoff

After the September 11th Al Qaeda attacks on the U.S., Malaysia instituted an anti-terrorism policy under which every purchased phone number is registered to an individual, the Daily Mail noted.

When police tried to locate the person who called the pilot of the ill-fated flight, they instead arrived at a store that sells SIM cards in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur. There, they learned it had been “very recently” purchased by an individual who gave a woman’s name, but was later discovered to have been using a false identity.

The Daily Mail wrote, “The discovery raises fears of a possible link between Captain Zaharie, 53, and terror groups whose members routinely use untraceable SIM cards.  Everyone else who spoke to the pilot on his phone in the hours before the flight took off has already been interviewed.”

Today, Malaysia officially said that Flight 370 was down and there would be no survivors, based on sightings of debris at "World's End" (the South Indian Ocean). While there is a possibility that the wreckage of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 has been found, as of yet, there is no possible way to determine that the aircraft went down because of a mechanical problem. There are still the man-made reasons to consider; terrorism, workplace violence, sabotage, or a suicidal pilot, co-pilot, or other crew member with access to the cockpit.

This story brings us back to the reality that something sinister seems to have happened to the missing Flight MH370 with 239 passengers and crew. A mystery phone call to the pilot from somebody that hid their identity is nothing to just shrug off. The fact that terrorists frequently use the same method of obtaining untraceable cell phones. But that is not the only strange anomaly that has been discovered. How about the flight simulator in the pilot's home that MAY have had a simulator tour that involved Diego Garcia? The missing family of the pilot raised eyebrows, but now the missing wife was supposedly going to be interviewed by the Malaysians, with a "gentle approach with a potentially key witness [that] has reportedly irked FBI investigators assisting with the probe."

At this point, it very much seems that there will be a very predictable outcome to the missing Flight MH370. Pieces of the 777 will be "found" and "recovered," and a government entity, probably Malaysia, with the support of many other countries including the United States, will claim that the mystery is solved. But, those anticipated words, "consider it solved," will never quell the doubts of just about everybody that has been following this story, including the relatives of those that were on that fateful flight.  This story will just add to the mystery.  Just sayin'...

Report: Investigators Now Looking for ‘Mystery Woman’ who Called Malaysia Airlines Pilot Before Takeoff

Investigators are focusing their efforts on discovering who called Malaysia Airlines flight 370’s pilot shortly before takeoff using a prepaid cellphone purchased with a false ID, Britain’s Daily Mail is reporting.

According to the report published late Saturday night, “The captain of missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 received a two-minute call shortly before take-off from a mystery woman using a mobile phone number obtained under a false identity.”

The call was one of the last made to or dialed from Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah’s cellphone on the day of the flight now more than two weeks ago, the Daily Mail reported.

“Investigators are treating it as potentially significant because anyone buying a pay-as-you-go [prepaid] SIM card in Malaysia has to fill out a form giving their identity card or passport number,” the British paper wrote.

Reports that say that something hasn't happened are always interesting to me, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns; that is to say, there are things that we now know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns – there are things we do not know we don't know.

For Bill O'Reilly to disparage Geraldo Rivera in the way that he does in this video, he is doing a great disservice to all journalists that are trying to report the story of the missing Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370. What O'Reilly did was to make people skeptical about any news that they hear about the missing flight. Right before Geraldo was able to discuss his "theory," O'Reilly attacked his credibility.

The arrogant behavior by some of the pundits is appalling; many in the media are looking for ways to be the most sensational. And meanwhile, to be the "oracle" that breaks the "case solved" story, they have to rip into every other "theory."  It is not satisfactory journalism when those of us that are trying to pay attention are constantly forced to discern between facts and speculative theories in the reporting. Mr. O'Reilly, it is BECAUSE of the wall-to-wall media coverage, and WILD speculations, that We the People have to keep every possibility on the table, just as Geraldo said. We don't know if it was a mechanical failure, an attempted hijacking that failed or succeeded, or SOMETHING ELSE entirely!

3-19-14 - CNN's Don Lemon has been entertaining all sorts of theories about the missing Malaysian Airlines Flight 370, including the chance something "supernatural" happened, but on Wednesday night, he actually asked panelists about the possibility a black hole was involved. Lemon brought this up along with other "conspiracy theories" people have been floating on Twitter, including people noting the eerie parallels to Lost and The Twilight Zone, and wondered, "is it preposterous" to consider a black hole as a possibility?

Mary Schiavo, a former Inspector General for the U.S. Department of Transportation, said, "A small black hole would suck in our entire universe, so we know it's not that."

Here's another theory I'll just throw out there: what about the plane entered a wormhole into another dimension? I don't know if that's how the science works, though.

Gun Parts Store Owner Claims ATF Tried to Make a Secret Deal for the Names of His Customers

The ATF “is conducting a lawful criminal investigation of the illegal manufacture, distribution, sale, and possession of AR-15 variant lower receivers, which are considered firearms under the Firearms Control Act,” the federal agency said in its ex parte application.

The federal agency in its application referred to the receivers in question as “firearms,” a designation Karras claims is outright false.

“It’s not a firearm,” he said on Real News. “The ATF knows the information that they put in their determination letter is false. It’s incorrect. It’s based on fiction. It’s a fantasy. They already know that.”

Because I am not an attorney, I won't try to tell you if the gun parts store CEO, Dimitri Karras, is correct or not. The ATF was saying a certain gun part that the store was selling violated Federal law. That is part of this case that is in question. But the biggest question is whether or not the ATF really needed to carry out a raid on the store locations with guns drawn, and then confiscated not just the gun parts, but all of the store's computers, which of course, had the customer information on them.

This story is being brought to you here because of the highly questionable motives and tactics of this federal agency, known as the ATF.  Below, you will see a video of an interview segment on Fox News Network's "Real Story," with guest host Jenna Lee filling in for Gretchen Carlson.

By now, I am sure, you probably got the gist. Not only is the U.S. government crossing the line when it comes to the 2nd Amendment, they are also willing to assault the 4th Amendment. What happened to Dimitri Karras can happen to any of us. Keep that in mind. But, don't be afraid. You are not alone. We surround you. Just sayin'...

The CEO of a gun parts store in California on Monday accused the ATF of trying to obtain the names of nearly 5,000 of his customers by striking a secret deal with him.

Agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives “basically said, ‘Listen, we know you’re a legitimate business. We know you’re doing everything fine. Hand over the list of names, hand over this particular product that we have now deemed to be a firearm and everything’s going to be fine. Nobody will know about it. It will be swept under the rug,’” Ares Armor owner Dimitrios Karras said.

Karras, whose store was raided over the weekend by federal agents, made the claim during an interview on TheBlaze TV’s Real News.

“‘Nobody’s going to know that you handed over these names.’”

VIDEO: Be prepared for something big to come soon

It is a long video, much longer than my usual videos posted here, but it is worth watching every minute of it. Lt. General Tom McInerney (RET, USAF) was right, I believe. Somebody saw this segment, and felt the need to change this story. Here I was thinking that this story would lead to another major military (SEAL Team 6) operation to save the Flight MH370 passengers and crew, something to make Obama look good (like the supposed killing of Osama Bin Laden). But now, they are talking about wreckage possibly being found West of Australia.

Which scenario would help Obama the most, though? Disparaging the thought that there is still terrorism, or a major rescue of the people on that flight, landed somewhere, like in Pakistan?

Wait, maybe the best thing would be to tell the truth, no matter how it all works out. If the missing Flight MH370 went down, it is more likely to have been caused by terrorism than a mechanical failure. If it was a mechanical failure, so they say, hopefully it will be a more convincing theory than a center fuel tank exploding from a spark. I'd hate to see how the Obama minions in the mainstream press try to make it out to be workplace violence.

So, the possible debris from the missing flight is out floating on the ocean. That's pretty convenient, just a day after relatives of Chinese passengers had a melt down about finding their loved ones! I'm just sayin'...

I'm beginning to think that the media is just as clueless as the rest of us are about what happened to Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, despite all of their "experts" they bring in to discuss all of the possibilities. While new information seems to be pouring in on a daily - or hourly - basis, most of the theories that may have once seemed to be plausible quickly get disassembled.

There are two definite camps competing for the way to find Flight MH370. One side believes in a mechanical failure in the plane, and ultimate crash somewhere, probably in the Indian Ocean, while the other theorists are saying that it was a deliberate human act and the plane was hijacked to somewhere - either deep-sixed somewhere in the ocean, or possibly landed safely. Among the hijack conspiracy theorists, there is a strong inclination at this time to think it was terrorist-related, and the plane would be used at a later time for an attack.

We must remember what Donald Rumsfeld once stated:

Reports that say that something hasn't happened are always interesting to me, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns; that is to say, there are things that we now know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns – there are things we do not know we don't know.

And I believe the biggest unknown unknown is what WE the PEOPLE don't know! If the missing aircraft is the only really big news that has to be covered wall-to-wall, then okay. But, what if it is this story that takes our attention off of other world events that may be far more important? The Russians take over of Crimea? The civil war in Syria? The role of ObamaCare and the special election in Florida 13 and the 2014 Midterm election? Yes, I can see the possibility of a diversion here. Just sayin'...

VIDEO: Watch Out For the Trojan Horse, as in Flight MH370

Please forgive me for a minute, but there is a theory that I have regarding the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370. I'm pretty sure that the Boeing 777 was landed somewhere with the passengers and crew all alive and ... well, let's just leave it at alive. They could now be hostages. One thing you aren't hearing about very much are the two Iranian passengers with stolen passports and one-way tickets paid for with cash by another unknown Iranian. Is it possible that the plane was landed in Iran? We know about the 20 passengers that are engineers for a company that makes Electronic Warfare equipment. That alone could be valuable to a country like Iran. The plane would be valuable to Iran for use as a way to fly a nuclear weapon to a target, such as Israel, Western Europe, or the United States. And who knows what was in the cargo hold of the plane that might be of great value. And now you know the reason of the title of this post.

At least one right-leaning group called on lawmakers to intervene.

“Congress needs to prevent the Obama administration from giving away U.S. control over the Internet to any international body,” Americans for Limited Government said in a statement. “Perhaps this latest egregious action by the Obama administration in their quest to deconstruct the United States will finally wake Congress up to their power of the purse responsibility as a co-equal partner in government.”

And GOP FCC Commissioner Michael O’Rielly shared concern “that NTIA’s announcement could set the stage for foreign governments and quasi-governmental entities to try to gain control of the Internet.”

“If this goes forward, the real work will be to ensure that ICANN satisfies the conditions outlined and that these principles cannot and will not be undermined in the future,” he said. “The only acceptable Internet governance structure, other than the current one, is a multi-stakeholder model completely free from foreign government intrusion.”

It was good that I didn't allow the missing Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370 to occupy 100% of my time. This is a story that needed to get out. What is happening may be a lot on the insidious side. There may be a reason why this story wasn't at the top of the news, and came out on a Saturday. The old thing that we hear the government tell us: "Nothing to see here, folks, just move along, and watch some March Madness men's hoops..."

This is a much bigger story than the lamestream media will ever tell you about. It is all part of the pattern. Well, their plot will fail. There will be a lot of talk about this on Glenn Beck or Rush Limbaugh, and of course, here. There will be a MAJOR backlash!

And doesn't it annoy the heck out of you that the campaign that said "Yes We Can" is now saying NO! to ICANN? Just sayin'...

The Obama administration’s decision to relinquish oversight over the group that manages the Internet’s architecture has raised an early red flag with Republicans, who blast the move as a threat to free speech.

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers has managed the Web’s domain-name system under contract with the U.S. government for more than a decade — but the Los Angeles-based nonprofit has worked to transform itself into a global organization free of U.S. ties. European Union officials backed the globalization effort, which intensified with Edward Snowden’s leaks about the NSA’s sprawling surveillance programs.

The United States has always played a leading role in overseeing the management of .com and other domain names, but the administration announced Friday night that it will give up its oversight when the current contract expires in fall 2015. The European Commission, the EU’s executive arm, last month proposed establishing “a clear timeline” for globalizing ICANN and the duties it performs under the U.S. contract.
