The Hard Truth About Use of Force in Policing ~ Ep. 1277 ~ The Dan Bongino Show®

From the Dan Bongino Show's description of this episode on youtube.com/Bongino or in his Show Notes:
In this episode, I address the latest outrageous attack by the tech tyrants on conservative websites and content. I also address the Trump Executive Order on police reform and what it really means for our police departments. I also explain the difference between chokeholds and neck restraints.
Do you wonder what the conversations are like among law enforcement officers, sipping on a few adult beverages after their shifts?  Sitting around a table, amongst themselves, would they be wondering if the other guys would have their backs, or would they be a witness against you, to save their own caboose?

That's always been an issue, but most officers will back each other up.  However, these are strange times.  There is now political pressure to take criminal action against any white officer that is caught up in a life and death situation with a black subject, where the officer uses deadly force, and takes a life.  As Dan will explain in this episode, better training of the officers could prevent many deadly force situations.  Why is that is important?  Well, like Dan says, like in athletics, "train the way you play, and then play the way you train." If an officer is trained in the correct way, when they get in a bad situation like the two officers in Atlanta with Rashard Brooks, they are less likely to panic, and will do the right thing(s) when in those situations, and be able to end the situation without the loss of a life.

Though Dan's segment on the training aspects of the use of nondeadly force was lengthy, there was a lot information embedded in that segment, that hopefully those officers having an off duty conversation over a brew or two would want to consider, and get their various police unions to help put into affect.

The rest of this episode is definitely going to fill you in on the ongoing topics of the tech tyrants, and General Mike Flynn possibly being the target of wiretapping, and it's going to bake your bagels.

Along with this episode, I've included some bonus videos for you to see about the police shooting incident at the Wendy's in Atlanta.  You need to be informed about the incident to the best of your abilities, in a fair and balanced way, and not just see edited clips on the Fake News networks.  There is probably more to it than most people are aware of.  I just wanted to make absolutely sure that you are fully informed.

Ingraham: Obama to the rescue ~ Fox News Video

Why did Barack Obama decide to come out to publicly inject himself in the Michael Flynn saga?
There are many reasons why Obama is coming out publicly, but Laura is thinking that Obama just wants to protect his own legacy.  My thinking is that Obama is in panic-mode.  The things going on with the General Mike Flynn case are opening up new information on a daily basis.  And it isn't going to end well for Obama and many people in his administration.

Ingraham: Let's start testing the data that justified the lockdown

From the video description:
First, we were told millions could die, then we were told those models were bad. We were told the virus was far more lethal than the flu. Now, we know it's likely to be closer on a really aggressive flu season.
How many times have left-wing Demonicrats, and even some Republicans, and their willing sycophants in the mainstream media, been wrong already? Remember Nancy Pelosi holding the rally in Chinatown in late February? Remember when they were all calling President Trump a xenophobe and racist when he stopped travel to the U.S. from China? And it was not President Trump that ordered the lockdowns. That was left up to the Governors, and some of them didn't act soon enough, or when they did, they went overboard and took away a lot of our rights (for our safety, they said).

The data has been skewed since the beginning. Now, with testing (when necessary), they find out that the lethality of Coronavirus was far less than they first suspected, not knowing that many more people had caught the virus than thought.

And one more thing. The long lasting lockdown. Enough already. And those "experts" at the CDC that are saying there could be another wave in the Fall... What do they know? Yes, I'm sure that wave will come just before the 2020 Election on Nov. 3. The CDC and scientists do NOT know for sure, and you can take that to the bank. They seem to always be wrong (chumps!). Just like everything else in life, there is no certainty in the future, especially with the Wuhan Virus Epidemicrat Shutdown of 2020. And I swear, if they don't soon open up the economy, I'm going to start using a word that I've coined: It is Faucism!

I'd rather count on what President Donald Trump says: WE WILL BUILD IT AGAIN!! That is something I truly can believe in.

Dr. Phil's grim warning about mental health risks amid coronavirus ~ Fox News Video

Probably one of the most profound public service messages you will ever see, on any network. I give both the Fox News host, Laura Ingraham, and her guest, Dr. Phil McGraw, a "YUGE" amount of credit for putting this interview together as they did.

It wasn't that they just confirmed what I've been believing for awhile. The shutdown of our economy is going to have some devastating psychological affects on many, many people, and that will be a problem that will be facing us long after the virus has gone away. It is going to affect children, the bread winning adults in the families, and the retired and elderly.

Yes, thank you Lord, for leading me to this segment. And, not just for me to see it, but for knowing this was something that I needed to share. This kind of hit me, hard, when I've been thinking about the conflicting ramifications of what they are trying to protect us from. Oh, wait... What about the psychological side affects of having people locked down? Kids not in school, though it's probably cool, because you don't have to go to work because you're laid off, or if you're lucky, you're working from home.

If I keep ranting, and rambling on here, you're going to know that Dr. Phil's assessment of the psychological ramifications of the shut-down were spot on.

The Video Interview We ALL Need to See ~ Ep. 1225 ~ The Dan Bongino Show®

From the Bongino Show's description of this episode on youtube.com/Bongino or in his Show Notes:
In this episode, I address the fireworks during the interview with Attorney General Bill Barr regarding the Spygate investigation. I also cover the enormous Nancy Pelosi blunder and how it hurts the Democrats’ long term. Finally, I address the real political battle plan for the liberals going forward.
This episode gets started with a huge dose of some positive news that has to do with the Russia Collusion hoax, or as Dan calls it in his book, "Spygate."  Attorney General William Barr was interviewed by Laura Ingraham this last week, and said some very interesting things.

What the Demonicrats want to do, and are striving for, is an all out welfare state.  Like that Rahm Emanuel instruction to the Demonicrats, "never let a crisis go to waste."  This is the perfect storm for the Demonicrats, especially with Federal and state governments taking over control of everything, including our First Amendment and Second Amendment rights, since they have an "excuse."  And I hope people are noticing, that we are getting a preview of Communism.  They could not have planned this any better. Just sayin'...

Ingraham: What is coronavirus doing to us as a people? ~ Fox News Video

Winning the war against COVID-19 must not kill the patient.

The Left is using the Coronavirus Pandemic Shutdown for their advantage, where ever they have a chance. They were able to close gun stores, and churches, and the right to congregate. You have to wonder, would the press be taking this so well, if they were being shut down for whatever excuse the government could come up with? I mean, really, couldn't their 24/7 hysteria cause panic? Or, will it just be the Conservative pro-Trump bloggers that they go after? The left wing mainstream media wouldn't have any problem with that, I'm sure!

But, with all that being said, Laura is a lot like me right now. When we get back to "normal," we certainly hope that it isn't a "new normal" like Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) has been talking about, with a "GREEN new normal," a "transformation of America." Wait, hold it right there. Shutting down the country to save us from the Covid-19 Pandemic isn't supposed to "kill the patient," that being our Constitutional rights.

And, maybe one of the biggest dangers to yet face us is.... Well, the election that is supposed to happen this year. While everyone seems pretty confident that President Trump will be re-elected, it would not surprise us to see a lot of Demonicrat shenanigans going on. Keep your eye on that, folks!

Ingraham: What is the new normal? ~ Fox News Video

From the video description:
If it means abandoning the life we loved before coronavirus or using this the crisis as a vehicle for advancing a left-wing, freedom-killing agenda, count us out.
This is a very important segment on the Ingraham Angle on April 1, 2020. She discusses possible cures and treatments for the Coronavirus, along with getting actual infection rates, and accurate information is needed. Now!

But more importantly, we do have to look at the total impact on our economy. Laura is asking a very good question toward the end of this segment on the Angle. What will be the new normal when this is over? Is it going to be something like what Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) suggests?

This video goes along very well with a very good Dan Bongino Show that I blogged on earlier today.  You may want to see that even before you watch this, if you haven't already.  If you haven't noticed, it may be time to start thinking about us getting back to work, and to life, already.  Really.  Just sayin'...

Ingraham: A dose of reality ~ Fox News Video

From the Fox News Video description:
Our country needs solutions and hope amid the coronavirus crisis and the old bureaucracies have to give way to fast action.
Again, as was pointed out in my previous post, there is need for some positive news in this Chinese Wuhan Coronavirus Pandemic of 2020.  We need it right now.  As Laura mentions in her Ingraham Angle segment, it will require some fast action, and that is where President Trump will get things started, as usual, to expedite the process.  There is a medicine that has a lot of promise.  Despite Dr. Fauci's apparent doubts, Laura points out that the Hydroxychloroquine and Azithromycin treatment seems to have a lot of promise.

Ayers not joking about Obama book royalties ~ By Jack Cashill

On the following day, Saturday, the Montclair State video hit the Internet. Three days later, I talked about the video on "Fox & Friends." The following day, Donald Trump went on Laura Ingraham's show and repeated the argument I make in "Deconstructing Obama."

"They say 'Dreams of My Father' was genius, and they give [Obama] full credit, and now it's coming out that Bill Ayers wrote it," said Trump, getting everything right but the preposition in the book's title. "That's what started him on this road where he became president."

Trump also repeated a point that Ayers had surprisingly made in the video and that I had reiterated on "Fox & Friends," namely that Obama's second book, "Audacity of Hope," was clearly a lesser effort.

Ayers, in fact, called it "a political hack book." Trump noted that it "was written by a guy that's like a sophomore in high school."

It's all coming together... Well, except for Obama, where it's all falling apart! Jack Cashill said it best in his column, "Why our anti-war president went to war" (March 24), when he wrote:
The one fellow traveler whose opinion Obama fears, however, has yet to speak publicly on the subject. That would be his erstwhile Chicago mentor Bill Ayers.
So, now, the wheels are falling off Obama's presidency. Here is why Jack Cashill thinks that Obama is being outed by the writer of the book that propelled Obama to fame and the status of being a genius:
Obama's success must chafe Ayers even more. He hoped to mold a mayor of Chicago, and instead he ended up with a president whose ambitions would always corrupt his ideology.

The fact that Ayers went public in the first week of our war on Libya, a use of force almost indistinguishable from the Bush administration's, had to irritate Ayers deeply.
And who would have thought that Obama would be getting surrounded by a former terrorist, Bill Ayers, and the new player on the scene for the Republican nomination in 2012, Donald Trump? Is this a parallel universe, or what? Well, it must be, because I doubt the mainstream media would ever attempt to touch this story. Ummm... unless they get upset with Obama, too.

And while they're at it, maybe the liberals in the press should also be asking Obama for his birth certificate. Maybe that will explain why Obama went to war on Libya.

I think Obama has finally been "Trumped" .... I'm just sayin'....

Ayers not joking about Obama book royalties

Last week at Montclair State University, after twice claiming authorship of Barack Obama's acclaimed 1995 memoir "Dreams from My Father," Bill Ayers temporarily eased the fears of the literary left by ending his boast with a seeming joke.

"Yeah, yeah," said Ayers when asked for confirmation of his authorship, "and if you help me prove it, I'll split the royalties with you. Thank you very much."

"Bill Ayers Started a Joke, That Started the Whole Word Hyperventilating," ran an all-too-typical headline, this one in Slate. The implication, of course, was that Ayers was taunting the gullible right.

A recent email exchange between a correspondent of mine and Ayers, however, suggests that Ayers may not have been joking at all.

On the morning of March 24, "Jim" emailed Ayers at his University of Illinois at Chicago address: "Jack Cashill's new book makes an overwhelming case that you wrote 'Dreams from My Father.' In addition it recounts an encounter with a blogger, Anne Leary, in October 2009 at Reagan airport where you acknowledged to her that you wrote the book."

Jim continued, "Why don't you just go public with a straightforward statement about your role?"

As it happens, this was the same day Ayers was to speak at Montclair State. Jim was not connected to the group videotaping Ayers at Montclair and knew nothing of its strategy. His email may well have prompted Ayers' videotaped claim of authorship.

Ayers responded politely to Jim an hour later, "As you note in you letter, I did indeed acknowledge that I wrote the book to Anne at Reagan, and over and over since then. So what more do you want me to do?"

Ayers continued, "OK, I'll try again, loudly: I wrote 'Dreams from My Father,' Jim!!! Please, please help me prove it – you seem like a smart guy, and maybe you could find a smart lawyer – and I'll split the royalties with you! xxx Bill."

"It sounds like I hit a nerve, which was not my intention; my apologies," wrote Jim back on Friday, the day after the Montclair State talk and the day before the video hit the Internet.

Added Jim, "I spent some time with Google, and found any number of blogs in the days following your encounter with Anne Leary at Reagan airport. But all those were reports of what she said you said. I could find nothing where a reporter directly interviewed you, and you indicated you were the author.

"If it's your objective to get that word out, I would think it would be reasonably easy to meet with a reputable reporter, make the admission and produce some research notes to back it up. I would think Fox News, perhaps Hannity or O'Reilly, would be interested in doing such an interview."

"No nerve hit, and no apology needed," Ayers responded that same Friday. "I did talk to a reporter directly – Anne Leary. She asked, I answered. She quoted me accurately. And she was cited for weeks by folks like Hannity and O'Reilly, so they acted as if she were reputable. Don't hate on Anne."

Ayers continued, "As for my 'objective' in this – you brought it up, not me, so perhaps it's your objective. Sadly, I don't have any notes, but you read an account that was persuasive to you, so maybe that person has notes. In any case, I repeat: if you or the person who persuaded you or Anne or anyone can PROVE I wrote it, I would be so grateful that I would split the royalties. Please and thank you, Bill."

On the following day, Saturday, the Montclair State video hit the Internet. Three days later, I talked about the video on "Fox & Friends." The following day, Donald Trump went on Laura Ingraham's show and repeated the argument I make in "Deconstructing Obama."

A bloody ending for the GOP? ~ By Robert Ringer

There was a segment where Newt Gingrich was talking with Laura Ingraham from way back in February 2008 during the primaries that is a good teachable moment for the GOP:

Almost-liberal Republican Candidates Will Lose
From the video as seen in the description:
"I don't think anybody on his [McCain's] team understands the Conservative movement. So I don't think they have any idea what the underlying pattern is. They don't like the Conservative movement. They didn't hang-out with it. They're offended by it. I don't think you can go to the center in this country and try to be sort of a, a, an almost-liberal and win an election. I think that turns off so many people that they just stay home. And I think it's very important to realize, there were over 14-million Democrat votes in Super-tuesday. There were about 8-million Republican votes."  (Emphasis mine)

Video provided by NoRepublicanWimps

Newt was right on the money in 2008, wasn't he? And so is Robert Ringer now. The establishment Republicans - the RINO Progressives - didn't learn their lesson in 2006 or 2008. They lost the Conservative wing of the GOP. Should the Republicans take back Congress in 2010, as Robert suggests, they can no longer be squishy Republicrats; no more compromising, no more trying to get along with the other side of the aisle. Just sayin'...

Either the hazing and indoctrination ("co-opting") of new members of the Republican wing of the D.C. Club will finally be brought to a halt or the United States of America, as we came to know it growing up, will never again resurface. Club members have got to be made to understand that the game is over. Term limits, a balanced-budget amendment and rigid adherence to the rule that all legislation be required to pass constitutional muster would be good starters.

If they win big on Nov. 2, Republicans will be faced with a choice: Hand the sword of power over to the new faces in the party – those who truly believe in freedom and free markets and are serious about putting an end to the never-ending sham of "compromise" – or use the sword to commit hara-kiri.

Let's hope it's not a bloody ending for the Grand Old Party.

I was saddened, though not surprised, when former Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott said (in referring to tea-party candidates) in a recent interview with the Washington Post, "We don't need a lot of Jim DeMint disciples. As soon as they get here, we need to co-opt them." It stirred my greatest fears about the Republican Party.

I've always liked Trent Lott. Even though he's establishment to the core, by and large he's been one of the good guys – kind of an unperfected free-marketer. But I was very disappointed at his playing the role of loyal club member and dutifully stepping down as Senate majority leader when his well-intended remarks at Strom Thurman's 100th birthday party exploded into a left-wing fiesta.

Prior to that, in 1992, Sen. Lott had sent me a lengthy letter complimenting me on the content of a mockup magazine I was planning to publish (which I later decided to shelve), and I always appreciated his kind comments. So much so that when I started the Liberty Education Interview Series, I contacted his office to invite him to become one of my first interviews.

After a couple of back-and-forth e-mails, I spoke to a young man ("Joshua") who handled Lott's media commitments. He wanted to know the kind of questions I would be asking the Senator, and when I mentioned the recently passed TARP bill and other big-spending government programs, he said, "I can tell you right now that Senator Lott would not be agreeable to do an interview about such topics because he has paying clients who support those bills."

In a follow-up e-mail, I responded, "I appreciate the fact that Senator Lott has clients, but I'd like to believe that he is still deeply concerned about the future of this country."

In a final response, Joshua said that even though Lott "applauds your efforts in promoting free markets and capitalism … his schedule simply does not permit him the opportunity to participate in this effort. However, rest assured that he is doing his part in the cause."

And, in all honesty, I believe Trent Lott, in his own way, really is doing his part to promote freedom and free enterprise. In fact, a majority of Republicans are, in their own way, working to promote freedom and free enterprise. The problem is that they are conflicted by their desire to 1) stay in office as long as possible and 2) make as much money as possible.

As one of my longtime congressional friends told me bluntly, "You don't start making big money until you leave office." (Yes – he, too, is now a lobbyist.) Interestingly, my friend is behind the times, because the Democrats have boldly taken it to the next level and now make big money while still in office!

So, Sen. Lott has the right idea when he talks about co-opting, but he has it backwards. It's the tea-party people – the massive majority of libertarians, conservatives and libertarian-centered conservatives – who need to co-opt the Republican Party. If they cannot accomplish that, you can look for the near-term extinction of the Grand Old Party and the emergence of an official Tea Party.

In his interview with the Washington Post, Lott also said he is not expecting a tea-party sweep, explaining that "I still have faith in the visceral judgment of the American people." Say what? Attention Sen. Lott: The visceral judgment of the American people is what the tea-party movement is all about!

As I have written about so often in the past, if Barack Obama and his criminal cronies in Congress are not able to prevent free and fair elections in November, I believe the Republicans will overwhelm the Democrats in a tidal wave of victories beyond what even the most optimistic conservatives are expecting.

It's going to be like a political earthquake and tsunami hitting simultaneously. The day-in-day-out lies of Barack Obama and the Democratic leadership in Congress will be laid bare for all to see in one historic night.

'Rushed' to the hospital ~ By Kathy Shaidle

Commentary from WorldNetDaily
Kathy Shaidle By Kathy Shaidle Posted: January 02, 2010 ~ 11:36 am Eastern © 2010 This column was going to be fairly low key. The days between Christmas and New Years are the no man's land of conservative talk radio – a week of substitute hosts and "best of's" as most of the stars take a break. Then late Wednesday night, news spread that Rush Limbaugh had been hospitalized in Hawaii, suffering from chest pains. Immediately, the blogs and Twitter were abuzz. I set up a special search column on TweetDeck, using the hashtag #rushlimbaugh. After about ten minutes, I had to close it down. The calls for prayers and the "get well soon" messages and comments were interspersed with hateful "death wishes" and nasty jokes from leftists. Radio Equalizer's Brian Maloney reprinted some of these messages at his blog, censoring a few of them out of necessity. Not surprisingly, someone at the unreliable and mostly liberal megasite Wikipedia even edited Limbaugh's entry to pronounce him dead! Some of the fans' responses to the hatred were extraordinary. One commenter said: "Rush is irreplaceable. If he needs a heart transplant, he can have mine." Another noted on Twitter: "So Rush Limbaugh can't say he wants Obama to fail but liberals can say they want Rush Limbaugh to die?" My favorite: "The same people who want Rush to die want to run our health care!" Ed Morrissey at HotAir remembered an email he'd received from Limbaugh during a personal crisis; it offered an insight into the "real" Rush and made for touching reading. The next day – when the searches for "Rush Limbaugh" reached the "volcanic" level at Google Trends – the irony of the situation hit me. Who do millions of us turn to when there's bad news? Rush Limbaugh. But who do we turn to if Rush isn't around, because Rush is the "bad news"? In this case, few of the other "big names" were scheduled to be on the air either. Bill Bennett was, however, and he offered his best wishes to Rush on his radio show, and at the National Review's blog, The Corner. He was joined by regular Rush Limbaugh substitute host, Mark Steyn, who wrote:
Rush took a rotting, abandoned hulk – AM radio – and reinvented it as a new conservative medium. Critics such as our former colleague David Frum miss the larger point: It's not just about his opinions on this or that policy issue or candidate, but about a strategic savvy few other folks on our side of the aisle can demonstrate. I owe him a lot personally, and I hope he rests up for whatever time he needs and then comes back and sticks it to the naysayers till mid-century.
Dr. Walter E. Williams sat in for Rush on Thursday afternoon and offered listeners a brief update on Limbaugh's condition:
"Rush is in good and stable condition, comfortable – as comfortable as one can be in a hospital while on vacation – and he's in good hands."
Then came New Years Day and good news: Rush was released from hospital. At a televised press conference, he explained that a battery of tests showed no sign of coronary disease, and a heart attack was ruled out as the cause of his chest pains (FREE video). (You can also the video below this story.) While the origin of his discomfort remains a mystery, Rush was certain of one thing: "I don't think there's one thing wrong with the American health care system." Rush also posted a special message to his fans at his web site, thanking them for their "prayers and good thoughts" – and promising to return to the "Golden EIB Microphone" mid-week. There was some other news in the world of talk radio, of course, although none so dramatic. READ FULL STORY >

Is world uniting in Copenhagen? ~ By Bob Unruh

From WorldNetDaily
International climate treaty feared for impact on liberties Posted: November 16, 2009 ~ 8:56 pm Eastern By Bob Unruh © 2009 WorldNetDaily A video (see at the bottom of this post) explaining the dangers of a U.N. treaty proposal promoted by President Obama that critics say would lead to a world government has received more than 3.5 million views since WND broke the story on the ominous possibilities, and now there is word from the Obama administration the plan might not be going so smoothly. In the video, Lord Christopher Monckton, a former science adviser to British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, asserts the real purpose of the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen Dec. 7-18 is to use concern over "global warming" as a pretext to lay the foundation for a one-world government. At the U.N. Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen "this December, weeks away, a treaty will be signed," Lord Christopher Monckton told a Minnesota Free Market Institute audience at Bethel University in St. Paul. According to the Minnesota Free Market Institute, the video, as originally posted, has collected 2.2 million views and almost 700 pages of comments, but there also are more than 100 other cloned versions of Monckton's comments on YouTube and the aggregate views exceed 3.5 million. The video helped launch a national petition drive opposing the Copenhagen treaty at NoCapAndTrade.com, with its more than 135,000 messages to Congress opposing the plan. It's been discussed by Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Laura Ingraham and Michelle Malkin, among others. Now there are indications the light of information being spread about the potential problems is casting shadows on the proposal. "The more people learn about the supposed issue of 'climate change' and how green extremists intend to control our lives, the more skeptical they become," said Jeff Davis, president of the Minnesota Majority.
