DNC chair: 'We're going to hold the Senate'

Noting close poll numbers in crucial states, she said the Democratic Party's advantages are "superior to the ones that Republicans have."

"When we keep races this close, Democrats win," said Wasserman Schultz.

The upbeat assessment stood in stark contrast to the conclusions drawn by Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus during the same segment.

"Our ground game is whipping their ground game," Priebus said, adding later, "We're going to have a great night."

As written by Conservative Intel on November 3, 2014, "Democrat National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz apparently has no problem waxing quixotic in public pronouncements."

Sure, it is totally okay to denigrate Debbie, she seems to earn the Crazy Lady In the Attic Award for her extremely absurd statement. What was she thinking? Is she not paying attention to any of the polls?  Is she getting desperate because she's trying to save her job?

However, in Conservative Intel, where I first heard about this story, the people that commented on the story have a different theory.  It seems quite cynical in their thinking that there's something sinister going on.
Lewis Clements Sr.:

I am sad to say MS.Debbie Wasserman Schultz is right, "When we keep races this close, Democrats win." Their Voter Fraud always seems to overcome a one to two point lead. BY Hook or Crook!
Barbara Carpenter:

I guess she has an inside track on the voter fraud the Dems continue to perpetrate.
Jeffrey Raum · Atlanta, Georgia:

Democrats will win if the electronic voting machines are allowed! Lie, Cheat, and Steal has always been the Democratic motto! It worked in 2012, with votes being change from R to D on machines in several states. Now it has already showed up in early voting! Why is it these calibration errors only changes Republican vote to Democrat, never the other way around?
Why do you think Obama was taunting the American public about any vote for a Democrat was a vote for his policies? They know it's rigged, and there is nothing that will be done about it!
I am a just a little bit skeptical about the theory that the Democrats will steal the election. Wouldn't that be rather obvious if it actually happened? The polls and pundits seem to indicate a large landslide for the Republicans in this midterm election.

Well... whatever.   But if Debbie Whatshername ends up being right, and all of the close races do end up going in the Democrat direction, there will be a great amount of suspicion, if not downright anger across the country. That wouldn't be why DHS beefed up security at federal facilities last week, would it? Just sayin'...

DNC chair: 'We're going to hold the Senate'
By Elise Viebeck

From THE HILL

Debbie Wasserman Schultz
Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) predicted Sunday that her party would hold the Senate in Tuesday's midterm elections, thanks to its "superior" ground games in critical states.

"I think we're going to hold the Senate," Wasserman Schultz said during an interview with ABC's "This Week." "We have a ground game that I know [the GOP] would take over theirs any day of the week."

Wassermann Schultz also cited the high-level surrogates working with Democratic candidates on the campaign trail, including former President Bill Clinton, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Vice President Biden.

VIDEO: Taking on Dirty Harry, and the gloves are off!

There were a lot of people that were upset with what Harry Reid said about the Cliven Bundy Ranch supporters being domestic terrorists. Now, Harry Reid is a target himself for having some shady ethics.  So, I have to wonder if Harry Reid really does have things to cover up and needed Cliven Bundy to provide the smoke screen for his own shady financial activities, or, is it the case of the government gone wild with land grabs that Dirty Harry Reid doesn't want us to know about?  Just sayin'...

WIFLI Briefing for Apr 24, 2012 - If I Wanted America to Fail

Welcome to this edition of Time 2 Escape WIFLI Briefing!

What is WIFLI?
You may be wondering what the acronym "WIFLI" means. I started out by calling these issues the Time 2 Escape Daily, but that didn't work out very well. I quickly learned that putting these issues together on a daily basis was a task I was unable to accomplish. To replace "Daily" in the title, I borrowed the acronym WIFLI, which literally means "When I Feel Like It." Putting together a post on this blog WIFLI works much better for my schedule, and for the higher quality of each issue that is eventually published!

FAIR USE NOTICE: This edition of the Time 2 Escape WIFLI Briefing may contain copyrighted material. Such material is made available for educational purposes only. This constitutes a 'fair use' of any such copyrighted material as provided for in Title 17 U.S.C. section 106A-117 of the U.S. Copyright Law.

In this extremely important issue, you are about to become clearly aware of what we face in our near future should the enemies of freedom - GOLIATH - prevail. You will also learn that there are solutions, and there are many DAVIDs out there that are willing to take on that GOLIATH.

We remember Andrew Breitbart. He was not alone. Neither is Herman Cain. Neither are you or I.  There were many of us in the Tea Party that may have felt small on our own, but we soon realized that we weren't alone.  There was no reason to be afraid. We the People (DAVID) collectively gathered and helped to make things much more difficult for Obama to do by getting the GOP back in control of the House of Representatives in 2010. We at least slowed GOLIATH down a little.

It just happened that while watching "The Five" on Fox News on Monday (4/23/12), I happened to see a video that inspired me to get this issue published ASAP! And the video that caught my attention - If I Wanted America to Fail - is a true wake-up call.  We have a lot of work to do before November 6, 2012.

If I wanted America to fail, I would do nothing. However, I'll be happy to be somebody like George Bailey (DAVID) going up against the evil Mr. Potter (GOLIATH) like we saw in that tremendous classic film, "It's a Wonderful Life."

Watch the videos you will see below, and then decide if there is anything you and I can do.  I'm in complete agreement with what Herman Cain wrote in his column, "An army of Davids," especially that: "We the People must be an army of Davids to take our liberties back from Goliath."

What we must do was summarized exquisitely by Ralph Marston almost ten years ago!

No matter how much you push against the darkness it will not go anywhere. Yet the moment you shine your light, the darkness is no more. When you fight against your problems, all it usually accomplishes is to make them stronger and give them more validity. Instead, seek to transform those problems, those difficult situations, by virtue of your own positive values and efforts.

Rather than struggling against the situation, give the best you have to it. Rather than fighting darkness with more darkness, transform that darkness by letting your light shine.

— Ralph Marston, Light the darkness, Thursday, July 18, 2002
Quoting from Herman Cain's column once again, let's remember how We the People - the Army of DAVIDs - can light the darkness:
"We have more than one stone and a sling shot. We have the right and responsibility to vote, the power of the Internet and the power of the people. But we have to use that power wisely and collectively to stop the erosion of our liberties."
Seriously, I'm clinging to the hope that the videos that you'll see below will help you realize how close we could be right now to losing our liberty. I hope that thought terrifies you, as it should. And last, I hope that you will help to light the darkness in anyway that you can, even it is just by sharing this publication with your friends in the social media. I'm just sayin'...

Based on Paul Harvey’s seminal essay, “If I were the devil” (See above). Free Market America’s provocative video-letter to America rings with the same thoughtful intensity. “If I wanted America to fail” addresses the perilous side-effects of hitching our nation’s economic well-being to the bandwagon of environmental extremism.

An army of Davids
Exclusive: Herman Cain asks, 'Are we asleep, or just plain dumb and stupid?'
From WND Commentary ~ By Herman Cain ~ Published Apr 22, 2012

HERMAN CAIN
It’s tough being the underdog in any fight. But if a group of underdogs get together and work together, they can win. That’s the American people up against big government. We the People are fighting the political class.

The federal government has become too big, too bureaucratic and too controlling of our everyday lives, and it wants to control us even more every day, with every session of Congress. As a result, We the People are losing more and more of our liberties every day.

This administration is trying to tell us which cars to drive, which light bulbs to buy, what foods to eat, where not to take a vacation, how much health care we can have, what to believe, who to believe, how to live, how to spend our money, when to die, where to build a new plant for a business and what fairness ought to be – using our money!

Are we asleep, or just plain dumb and stupid?

Fairness is the liberty to make decisions about our lives and our money. But this administration is doing everything it can to take away our liberties with government mandates and income redistribution gimmicks like the Buffet Rule.

Does GOP have death wish? ~ By Tom Tancredo

Former Congressman Tom Tancredo (R-CO) is hopping mad following CPAC, and it is because there are Republicans that want to give amnesty to illegal immigrants. He doesn't feel that the excuses given are valid, and you will learn why in this column.

Here is a modest suggestion, one I believe would be endorsed by both tea-party patriots and soccer moms. Republican leaders should appeal to Hispanic voters on the same basis and the same issues as they appeal to all voters – through policies that are good for America.
By Tom Tancredo

It's not surprising that there are some prominent conservatives who are willing to betray the American taxpayer to get a new amnesty for 15 to 20 million illegal aliens. But do they have to add insult to injury by lying about amnesty's impact on the Republican Party?

At the recent Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Washington, D.C., Americans for Tax Reform President Grover Norquist gave enthusiastic backing to a new group formed for the express purpose of pushing new amnesty legislation in alliance with congressional Democrats and the Obama White House. When everyone else is declaring amnesty dead in the water for 2010, Norquist and his business-lobby friends ride to the rescue.

But what makes the new "Latino Partnership for Conservative Principles" especially deceptive and troublesome are the lies Norquist and his allies must tell about the so-called "Hispanic vote" to make this gambit credible. The mantra for the new amnesty scenario is a seductive political pragmatism: Republicans are being told they must support a new amnesty or "lose the Hispanic vote for the next 50 years."

That dire warning is built on demographic lies and myths about "what Hispanics want," but all of the evidence points in the opposite direction. The amnesty agenda is not only bad policy for America, it is suicidal politics for the Republican Party.

The proponents of this phony "political realism" must indulge in two falsehoods to make their case. First, they say amnesty is a necessity on partisan political grounds. Then, in order to mitigate the crassness of that argument, they claim that it is also good policy because the Latino culture is one of "deep conservative, pro-family values." Neither claim is true.

Obama's eligibility baggage just a coincidence? ~ By Marylou Barry

From WorldNetDaily
Posted: September 17, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern By Marylou Barry © 2009 Recent revelations make it increasingly likely that the Democratic National Committee was aware of Barack Obama's eligibility problems before certifying his nomination for president. But has anyone considered that perhaps the choice of a compromised candidate for that office was not accidental but deliberate? "In politics there are no accidents," Franklin Delano Roosevelt once said. "If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way." Sorry to sound conspiratorial, but like most voters I've never been invited into the proverbial "smoke-filled rooms" where nominations actually take place, so I can only speculate as to what occurs behind the scenes. With so much for so many depending on four years of American foreign policy, though, I sure have trouble believing nominations actually originate in the DNC or RNC. If they did, surely another smooth-spoken, left-leaning, Islam-supporting, black Democrat could have been found to sub for the eligibility-impaired community organizer from Chicago. This should have been the obvious path for the DNC – or whatever shadow entity it is that controls nominations of the two major parties. Why wasn't it? To answer that question, I hearken back to a 2007 article by columnist, terrorism researcher and Vietnam War veteran Patrick Briley. Briley's article, entitled "Using Terrorists to Establish World Government," calls into question the actions of not just Democratic but also Republican higher-ups, including George W. Bush, in pandering to Islamic interests. Apparently, both Anglo globalist politicians and Muslim power brokers want world government and differ only as to which of their two groups should be at the top of the pecking order. In the symbiotic relationship that ensues, each side imagines it is using the other to achieve its goals. But in the final analysis, only one side will be able to prevail. The suicidal Republican Party - By Joseph Farah

Joseph says, "I'm afraid I've come to the conclusion that Michael Steele's leadership of the Republican National Committee does not provide the antidote to what ails this country right now – not even close." Steele's ideologies are about as liberal as the Democrats that he is supposed to be helping the Republicans beat in the next midterm election. read more | digg story

Michael Steele should go - By Star Parker

Star Parker By Star Parker March 14, 2009 From what I see, the Republican National Committee representatives who picked Michael Steele as their new chairman made a mistake. I think Steele ought to step aside. It pains me to say it, but it pains me more to watch the opposition party, the Republican Party, spin aimlessly and leaderless, while the Obama administration shreds to pieces, with ruthless focus and discipline, everything this country stands for. Yes, of course, the defining moment for me is the recent GQ magazine interview in which Steele sounds more like a Democrat than a Republican. Does a woman have a right to choose abortion? "Yeah. Absolutely." Is homosexual behavior something an individual can choose? "It's like saying, 'Tomorrow morning I'm gonna stop being black.'" Should we amend the Constitution to define marriage? "I don't like mucking around with the Constitution." I guess Mr. Steele does like mucking around with his own party's platform, which supports such an amendment. Look, over just the last week, Barack Obama sent to Capitol Hill the most irresponsible budget ever proposed by any president – calling it, as you would only expect from Obama, "A New Era of Responsibility." And he overturned the existing ban on using federal funds to destroy human embryos to do stem cell research – calling it, as you would only expect from an Obama spokesman, "sound scientific practice … instead of dogma in developing federal policy." And what am I writing about? Michael Steele. [Continue reading]

Steele is No Token - By Kevin Jackson

By Kevin Jackson at The Black Sphere

I am a huge Michael Steele fan, and I echo Michelle Obama "patriotic" comment that, "…for the first time in my adult life, I am proud to be an American". Just kidding. I have been a proud American since birth, and I see no real story about Michael Steele being the first Black head of the RNC, unless we are talking about the anecdote in history. Steele is eminently qualified to run the RNC. He is an ex-Lieutenant Governor, politically astute, smart, good-looking, articulate…and of course clean. But the mainstream media will spin this as "Republicans finally break with their racist past and elect Steele." Or something like that. [Continue reading at The Black Sphere]

Questions Remain

Terrific video from the RNC regarding the Blagojevich scandal and potential Obama ties: Dare I say it? I will. You know darn well if Obama and Blagojevich had R designating their party affiliation, the Democrats and the media would be more scathing than they've been. Sure, they're calling on Blagojevich to step down. [Continue reading at Observational Diatribe]

Palin Power!

"The difference between a hockey mom and a pitbull? - Lipstick." So, did you miss Sarah Palin's speech at the Republican National Convention tonight? I have great news for you, it can be seen at a great blog I just discovered tonight. A well done blog by Covertress, and it's pretty impressive how it was put up so fast, and very well done! This is the one you need to see for yourselves! And then, after seeing this great coverage of the "Palin Power" speech, you can go to digg.com, and check out all of the great comments! People are very excited as you will see. Electrified! Energized! Just like all the people calling into the Conservative radio talk shows which I've been listening to in the last few days. The blog I am referring you to is complete with the video from Sarah's speech (in four parts), along with one great, and stunning, new graphic of a logo I'd like to see go viral. You have to see it! I'd like to get the permission to share that on my blog. Check out "Palin Power" now!
