If You’re Looking For Good News Then Don’t Listen To This Show ~ Ep. 1429 ~ The Dan Bongino Show

From the Dan Bongino Show's description of this episode in his Show Notes (a.k.a. Newsletter!):
In this episode, I discuss the disgraceful, disastrous collapse of the country at the hands of the liberal forest fire, and what we can do about it after last night’s election.

Dan starts out this episode by explaining the quote, "Democracy is the theory that the common man knows what he wants and deserves to get it, good and hard," from H. L. Mencken.  Yes, it is actually true, that when very liberal laws are passed, it is going to affect the voters that voted in the knuckleheads that are going to put the shaft to everybody... And don't forget, good and hard!  Want poor medical care?  Just get the government involved so that it is "fair" to everybody.  Yes, so we can all equally get horrible health care... You know, that social justice thing.

Want high taxes?  Oh, so, you think the high taxes are only going to "soak the rich," as they often say?  Really?  Dan will explain that one pretty well, but I'll mention how that works here.  It could be very bad if you own stocks with a new tax on unrealized capital gains.  That means, if you a bunch of stock, or a collection of old coins, that if the market value goes up, even if you do not sell any of those capital assets, you pay a tax on what you would get as a "capital gain."  Oh, surely, only people with assets over something like $4,000,000 would have to worry about that tax.  No worries for you, with your nice little 401K growing along with the economy, probably no affect on you, right?  No.  Wrong.  If that tax is to come along soon, you know what people that are holding those assets are going to do? They will sell their stocks or collectible cars, and guess what that is going to do to the market value of your 401K. Oh, and not to mention, it may start getting more difficult to find a good job, if the businesses and people that can finance them are kind of out of money after paying higher taxes...  Don't forget, that taxes on the rich basically ripple down through the economy, good and hard.  And not mentioned by Dan here, so let me add, there will be inflation, which is a tax on everybody.

Of course, I don't want to reiterate the whole show, but I wanted to get something in here that is a small example of what Dan is telling us in this episode.   This was one of those shows, though, that Dan is extremely agitated, and I'm not saying that in a bad way.  Heck, this was just the episode that came out Wednesday, after the run-off election in Georgia on Tuesday this week.  I can only imagine how it is going to be in Thursday and Friday's episodes, considering what happened on Capitol Hill on Wednesday evening.

Please don't let the introduction, or title, or my writing, deter you from seeing this episode.  This episode will help to prepare you for what we will have coming to all of us soon, good and hard.

Because I know that Dan Bongino would prefer that I embed the Rumble.com video here, I am now doing that! It finally came to me how to do it, and I am very pleased, because it doesn't require me to use the JavaScript code to do it! So, when you are watching, you will not be seeing it via youtube.com again. Nope, not here. Ever!  No more screwtube embedded video here! Forevs! So, it's now RUMBLE all the way, Dan.  For Dan's show page on Rumble.com, click here.

Emotional Caller Tells Rush Limbaugh What Every American Is Feeling

Okay, maybe saying that it is what EVERY American is feeling is somewhat of a slight exaggeration, but I can assure you that it might what at least 75 million Americans may be feeling, or at least half of the voters in the 2020 Election, if not more.

I heard this call when I was listening to Rush on Friday, November 20, 2020.  I completely felt the caller's pain.  And yes, I've always been a Republican, and yes, there have been many times that I've been disappointed with the results of their lack of true leadership when they were in office.  Unfortunately, it wasn't until Donald Trump came along, that I realized that none of the other Republicans that I have voted for that actually won their elections, outside of Ronald Reagan, was ever able to go over and above my expectations.

And I don't know if there ever will be any body else with the enthusiasm for his job, and love for the American people like (still) President Donald Trump has displayed, and did the most for us that he was allowed to.  And he did it all while under attack by the Demonicrats and Never Trumper Republicans.

The New Rules Are in Effect ~ Ep. 1178 ~ The Dan Bongino Show ~ Video

Okay, now that I finally learned how to get to Dan Bongino Show's Show Notes, I can do a much better job giving you a summary of the specifics that Dan discusses in the episode! Honestly, it was tonight, after all this time (5 weeks), when I found the vital area that helps to go along with the information as he gives it to you.  And I am going to share the important links with you here, so that you can also get to the story links and know where to get other stories:

The Dan Bongino Show website.  Once you are there, click on Podcasts.  That will get you to the page where you can scroll down through his episodes.  Click on the one you want to see the show notes for, with the links to the stories, and there you go!  Once you get to the episode, you can also choose to watch the YouTube video or listen to the podcast. The stories he mentions in the podcast or video will appear there with the links.  I apologize for not explaining this to you sooner, but I hope it helps you like it will help me.

Now that we have that covered, let's talk about the show. Yes, the title is, "The New Rules Are in Effect."  What are those new rules, you ask? As simply as Dan puts it, "We win, you lose!"  Or, maybe some of you may think about that old Alice Cooper song title, "No More Mr. Nice Guy." Want things to change? Would you like to see President Trump start draining the swamp? You CAN'T be a nice guy, like all the prior Republican residents of the White House for a generation or two, if you are serious about fighting back. What you do is clear out all of the holdovers from the Obama administration in the National Security Council. That's a good start.  And, it is also a good thing to be talking about the lies from the Democrats and the media, and getting the true story out.

The next thing that Dan talks about is extremely important, too.  Dan goes into showing more plausibility that the FBI is still trying to do a CYA regarding the "SpyGate" scandal. And of course, in this segment, Dan explains why he believes that FBI Director Christopher A. Wray needs to be replaced.

Stay tuned to the whole video, folks! It gets hilarious as we're told about the total Never-Trumper (RINO) faceplant in New Hampshire last year. Yes, I put the "RINO" in the parenthesis. Those "Republicans" that are anti-Trump are not really Republicans. Republicans in name only. They're globalists, so they are against America, and not for the values that the large majority of us that love and support President Trump will stand or die for, i.e. Freedom.

Has Trump awakened the sleeping giant? ~ By David Limbaugh

From within the commentary by David Limbaugh:
People are horrified and furious that Obama is destroying America at an ever-accelerating pace and that our cultural rot proceeds apace. They are tired of hearing excuses and empty promises from Republicans.

Trump is having none of it, and he is calling out Obama and the Republicans who are trying to tone him down – and it’s abundantly refreshing.

Meanwhile, the media continue to make Trump’s statements the issue instead of Obama’s daily – and I mean daily – outrages.
Here are my thoughts on this: "Houston, we have a problem." That problem has a name, and it is Donald Trump. He isn't playing by the rules, and Americans are loving it. Not so much the Republican Party. As David explains, Trump is resonating with many Republican voters because he IS taking on the Establishment Republicans AND the liberal media. And meanwhile, the GOP Establishment knows that if Trump leaves the party and runs as an Independent in 2016, it would put Shrillary, or someone like her (or worse, think: Bernie Sanders), in the White House.

Well, guess what? It seems that Trump can make his brash statements, and the more the other candidates jump on Donald for what he says, the more Trump's numbers go up. He's not afraid of his personal beliefs becoming public.

This has to be driving the political analysts nuts. The media pundits don't seem to have an answer, and neither do the campaign managers in both parties. That's easy to understand, isn't it? They just don't get it!
Notably, it is not just Donald Trump who is speaking out. Sen. Ted Cruz is fearlessly and brilliantly articulating mainstream conservatism, and he’s pulling no punches. The same is true of some of the other candidates. Cruz and former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina are both putting on clinics on how to deal with media interviews – refusing to cede the narrative and hitting back hard against Democratic extremism.
If We the People really want somebody that is not afraid to speak out, Donald Trump is going to be the choice as of now.  It may be a good idea for other Republicans to actually say what they are thinking, too, and not back off when the critics attack. It's called sticking to your words.  Staying away from attacking other Republicans in the field would be the best strategy.  Just sayin'...

From wnd.com Commentary

The professional hand-wringers are freaking out over Donald Trump’s straight talk while displaying abysmal indifference to the deserved targets of Trump’s charges. The United States is incinerating, but all they can think about is Trump’s heated rhetoric.

Trump is resonating because, as a presidential candidate, he is giving public voice to many of the concerns that have Americans beside themselves. Some commentators have called attention to these issues for years, but it’s different when a candidate does it, especially a Republican candidate.

Democratic candidates have no fear of making controversial statements or even of taking extreme positions, because the liberal media agree with them and will avoid putting them in a bad light. But Republicans know that the media will exploit any opportunity to vilify them.

Republicans also feel pressure from the GOP establishment to pull their punches – not to say anything that would make them look too conservative, too extreme, too uncaring, too out of step with the popular culture. “Don’t sound judgmental. Moderate your words. Be respectful toward President Obama. And above all, don’t sound like one of those crazies.”

Then Donald Trump comes along and breaks all the rules. He is not beholden to anyone for funding, and he’s not a string puppet for any feckless political consultants.

VIDEO: The troubling gaffes by political candidates is getting worse!

To be fair, when asked about David Perdue's comments, this is how campaign spokesman Derrick Dickey responded:
David was simply making the case that he is the most qualified person in this race to help get our economy back on track so that we can start paying down the massive federal debt. His comment was based on facts that are a matter of public record.
I further learned from the Atlantic Journal Constitution column by Jim Galloway that Handel's campaign manager Corry Bliss responded to the email in this way:
It is disappointing that David would demean someone who—by no fault of her own—moved out of an abusive home at age 17, and with her own hard work and determination, is the embodiment of the American Dream.

Karen is an example of how, with great perseverance and sheer will, the circumstances under which you grow up do not dictate your ability to succeed.

While David boasts about all the time he spent living in Europe and Asia, and all of the millions of dollars he intends to spend on this race, this election is about who conservatives can relate to and trust to get results in the United States Senate.
Look, what David Perdue said about Karen Handel was possibly worse than what Rep. Bruce Braley (D-IA) managed to do by disparaging Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) because he doesn't have a law degree. At least what Braley said only matters to liberals that agree with him, such as trial lawyers that don't want tort reform.  In Perdue's case, it was a drastic political error, because he was dividing Republicans by purporting to be "above" Karen Handel only because of his education level.

Yes, it is very disturbing, not just to me, but to even the hosts of The Five.  Greg Gutfeld says in this segment, "This woman is actually overqualified by not going to college."  And Dana Perino very eloquently says that the voters in the Republican primary in Georgia have their answer when it comes to picking the right person to be their candidate.

A long story short?  If you are running for a political office in a Republican primary, don't go divisive like the typical liberals do, especially when it is one of your own!  I can't wait to see if Karen Handel gets a large bump in the polls.  I suspect that she will.  Republicans that do the liberal kind of things, like disparaging opponents, and acting like global elitists, are what I call RINOs.  Just sayin'...

Is that the sound of a constitutional resurgence? ~ By Erik Rush

Not to make it all about me; the fact is that all of this speaks to all of our efforts having an effect. Between public opinion turning against the Marxist-in-chief, elements of his own party and the liberal press abandoning him, emerging details relative to long-suppressed scandals and the freshness date on his rhetoric having long since passed, we may yet see a constitutional resurgence in America, whether or not Obama plays the last card in his Marxist deck – that of touching off civil war, of course.
Here I am posting this column by Erik Rush a little more than a month after it was written. I was going to post it back in December, 2013, when Erik penned this excellent column, but at that time, I hadn't decided on a few things I was going to do with this blog. As it turns out, this is the ideal time to be posting this column. The truth is, it is like the liberal press caught wind of what Erik says about President Obama, "elements of his own party and the liberal press abandoning him," as evidenced by a surge of attacks on Conservative Republicans by the New York Times and several mainstream news networks:

So, it's a pretty good question. Why is the leftist mainstream media suddenly going on this anti-right surge? They noticed Obama's poll numbers plummeting? Do they now realize that Erik was right when he said that "the fact is that all of this speaks to all of our efforts having an effect"? They won't be attacking any of the progressive establishment Republicans, who many of us call the RINOs. They will be coming after Conservatives, the Tea Party, and those of us that are spreading the word! So, now you have a good preview of what is to come in 2014. The Democrat/Leftist propaganda machine is just getting geared up, folks. But we must have our own surge, fellow patriots. Our freedom and our nation is in peril.

In the recent past, too few perceived the symptoms of the disease. Now that they are experiencing pain and discomfort, they’re palpitating the affected area to see what might be the matter. Such things as the bevy of political scandals involving the Obama administration, the implosion of the “democratic” Arab Spring and the sluggish economic recovery provided more latent symptoms. The acute symptoms came about through the NSA domestic spying scandal, Obama’s dictatorial measures during the partial government shutdown and, finally, the revelation of his grand deception with regard to Obamacare.

A nation divided ~ By Henry Lamb

A nation (or a political party) that is divided cannot stand.
There has not been a day gone by without us seeing more examples of the vast differences between the Tea Party movement and the Occupy Wall Street movement. Did you notice all the reports of violence, felonies being committed, and people advocating the death of those that have succeeded, at Tea Party rallies? Funny, I don't recall any of that ever happening at the Tea Party rallies. Never any violence. Can't say the same for the Occupy Wall Street Mob demonstrations...

Wow, that was weird... None of what I wrote above had to do with the excellent column by Henry Lamb this week. It all just seemed to come out. No, wait, actually it has everything to do with what Henry writes about. If it is a nation divided, the point I made above stands as a testament to how divided this country really is.

Video provided by DefeatObamaCampaign on Oct 22, 2011

And obviously, there is the point that Henry was making that if a political party is divided, it cannot stand. You'll read about that when you read the full column. It's a stark warning to the Republican Party. The GOP better figure out right now that it is Conservative values that it stands for, and anything less in a Republican ticket in 2012 will mean four more years of Obama and the Democrat (Leftist) scheme to "transform America" ... to what? You don't know? Just see what the Occupy Wall Street movement is doing, as I mentioned in my opening. That will give you a very good clue. I'm just sayin'...

Congressional Republicans refuse to consider any so-called jobs bill that contains a tax increase that penalizes the successful. The president and his Democratic allies refuse to consider any jobs bill that does not include another tax on the wealthy. This division, so vividly portrayed in Washington, reflects a division that threatens the nation.

That division is amplified by thousands of people who are now occupying Wall Street, Oakland, Denver and various other locations. President Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Democrats in general, embrace these protesters. Their embrace includes the Socialist Party, the Nazi Party, the Communist Party, anarchists, people who destroy private property for fun, who defecate on police cars, and people who wallow in sex and drug-filled squalor.

This movement is also embraced by many labor unions. At the root of the protest is the commitment to "fundamentally transform the United States of America" by ending capitalism and replacing it with a government-managed economy.

The other side of the great divide is reflected in the tea party movement that began a couple of years ago. The goal of this movement is very clear: to return the nation to its constitutional foundation by reducing taxes, ending the deficit and reducing the size and scope of the federal government. Tea partiers have assembled peacefully in various places around the country, and then returned to their homes and jobs – and to study groups to organize a more effective campaign to rid the government of those who wish to transform it.

Herman Cain: Rocket fuel for America ~ By Star Parker

A reader who commented on the column stated: "What I would give to actually have a President who loves America AND our precious freedoms! Herman Cain certainly intrigues this voter!!"

That says it all!

After carefully reading and spending considerable time contemplating on this column, I have no doubt that Star Parker has it right, and the Republican establishment, and one of their supporters, Mona Charen, have it wrong.  The establishment elite are forgetting about who really brought about the Tea Party Movement, and the landslide victories that propelled Republicans back to power in the House and ended Nancy Pelosi's reign: American people that want to revive freedom in the USA! As Star writes, "The Republican Party establishment needs to start listening to grass-roots Americans and asking why no one is exciting them like Herman Cain."

It is a decision that Republican primary voters and caucus attendees need to make soon. Do we want the political experience of the Establishment's pick, Mitt Romney, or somebody that can revive the spirit of freedom and the wonderful outcome that liberty will have on our economy? It's as simple as 9-9-9! Traci, the writer of the comment above, represents the view that I happily share.

It's not just conservatives who are frustrated today. It is every single American who longs to see their nation regain its vitality, restoring freedom and prosperity at home and shining the light of human potential across the planet.

What is particularly frustrating is that the party out of power, the Republican Party, is supposed to be carrying the torch for these values. But it's barely happening. The Party has become bogged down with careerists, rear-view mirror thinkers and its own establishment of inside-the-beltway elite.

Nothing could speak more to this problem than establishment attitudes toward the remarkable Herman Cain.

Take, for instance, a recent column by conservative columnist Mona Charen.

After extolling Cain's compelling virtues – his rags to riches success story, his love of America and the values that make it great, and the courageous ideas he has put on the table in his campaign – Ms. Charen dismisses his candidacy for president.

"[H]e lacks the kind of experience the office requires … political skills … necessary in a political job."

Others who dismiss Cain point to his lack of national organization essential for raising the kind of money a presidential campaign needs.

I just don't see it this way.

Commie plot that put us in the red ~ By Diana West

In Blogging in Our Time 2 Escape, I do my best to provide you with the information in order to help you teach your children, and others, about the difference between capitalism and communism, and how one ideology promotes freedom while the other promotes tyranny. Fortunately, I have plenty of resources to lean on. Today, it is WND columnist Diana West that provides us with the information that helps to promote that goal. Along with Diana's column are several videos that I will be providing in my commentary below.

I learned in a segment on Fox and Friends with Tavis Smiley and Cornell West that since the 1960's, America has spent $16 Trillion to fight poverty, and yet, poverty has become even worse than when the government's war on poverty programs began.

What Diana West writes about in this column is important for us to know. Diana is right when she states "...how matter-of-fact we are in contemplating massive government interventions."  That statement struck me.  In this column, you will find out the reason why we've accepted the deficit spending plot, that is, if you read it closely enough.

It is important for your children and grandchildren to learn how deficit spending is destroying this country, especially when it comes to "fighting poverty." It doesn't work, nor has it ever. They aren't going to learn about this stuff at any time during their K-12 public school days, and probably not even during their days of collegiate curricula. So, it is up to you to teach them.

Diana West does an excellent job in this column to help you understand where the idea of all of this deficit spending came from. And now, I have found another video segment that supports what Diana has to say about the deficit spending.

The most amazing aspects of the accelerating American submission to the state are: 1) how matter-of-fact we are in contemplating massive government interventions, such as President Barack Obama's latest stimulus "jobs" plan, and 2) how virtually no one notices the blatant Marxist overtones. When someone does, a la "Joe the Plumber" at the end of the 2008 campaign season, he or she is mocked off the stage.

President Obama demonstrated how this is done in January 2010 when, during an unusual White House meeting with congressional Republicans about his pending health-care legislation – another massive government intervention into the private sector – he declared: "If you were to listen to the debate, and, frankly, how some of you went after this bill, you'd think this thing was some Bolshevik plot."

I remember cringing when a smattering of applause arose from the GOP ranks, as though some Republicans actually believed the president had delivered a punch line revealing the absurdity of considering "Obamacare" a government apparatus for seizing control of the lives of citizens – which it is. And that's no joke.

I wish any Republican had replied: "Not necessarily a 'plot,' sir, but a program that is indeed 'Bolshevik' in conception, design and purpose nonetheless. Government control of private sector activity, as the American people well know (or should), is aptly described as 'Bolshevik' – or Marxist, socialist, collectivist, statist and, for that matter, fascist, too. Indeed, nationalized health care was one of the first programs enacted by the Bolsheviks after they seized power in 1917."

Dear skeptics and critics ... ~ By Herman Cain

I realize that the road to the nomination and the White House is long and difficult. I know we will encounter many new challenges along the way and that many people see my chances as against the odds.

When one considers that I am up against the skeptics, the critics, the establishment, the Democrats, the liberals, gotcha journalism, a liberal-leaning mainstream media, the challenges of raising campaign funds and a host of other candidates seeking the same objectives, my candidacy is against the odds.

But then, that's been the story of my life and my career.

Maybe my middle name should have been David. He defeated a giant against the odds.

I am so totally pumped about Herman Cain! He has a major amount of courage that I've not seen in a Republican candidate for a long, long, time. Since the Reagan years, there really hasn't been a Republican ticket that was able to get me excited.

Sure, I was thrilled with George W. Bush, but he was all we had. Unfortunately, "W" disenfranchised many of the most Conservative among us Republicans by the time his term was over. TARP and immigration policy, along with the Ramos and Compean Border Patrol agents that never should have been prosecuted, were policies that were very discouraging for me and many of my fellow Conservatives.

Let me explain my opening statement about finally having a man with courage running for the GOP nomination. There is no doubt in my mind that Herman answers some of the questions on the minds of many when it comes to what some Conservative pundits have said recently. The rap on Herman is his lack of government experience and lack of name recognition. Those things were supposedly Herman Cain's major weaknesses. When you read this column, you'll find that Herman addresses those questions with great ease. Not only does he answer those questions, he actually turns those lemons into lemonade.

When I hear the pundits say there is nothing that is exciting about the current field of potential Republican candidates, they are making a huge mistake. Really, I'd much rather hear them saying that it's hard to choose amongst the strong talent that is taking on the challenge to beat the current incumbent! I can't believe that they are trying to throw another election! What's wrong with them? And do you really want to listen to the establishment that ended up giving us John McCain?

My commentary here with this column is based on what I wrote in a note on my facebook page last Saturday, May 28: "Don't bash the other GOP candidates! (However, Trump Trashing is allowed.)" How about if we just try to lift up any of the GOP candidates even if they are rivals of our favorites that we support?  In other words, I'd be the first to admit that a Palin/Cain ticket would work for me!

Republicans should want somebody that has it in his or her heart to WIN. Obama needs to be defeated in 2012. So, let's get serious about backing a candidate that could not only win the election, but also win the hearts of the American people. We have a lot of work to do. We need to restore the hopes and dreams of Americans if we are going to pull out of this funk that we've been experiencing. Did you hear that the housing market is getting worse? We need to get the confidence of the American people back up. That's what it will take to get the economy back in gear! And I think that gutsy Herman Cain guy is one that can do that. Just watch his latest video!

Dear skeptics and critics ...
HERMAN CAIN

Wow! I must be causing some people quite a concern as a candidate for the Republican nomination for president. The establishment skeptics are still stuck in the traditional campaign paradigm of immediate name ID, lots of money and experience in a worthy elective office. The critics are pounding on what they perceive as my weaknesses. And the Democratic National Committee now has me on its radar and is sharpening its blades for a Cain attack.

No one is more emblematic of the Republican establishment than Karl Rove. He has an unmatched political record from his tenure with former president George W. Bush. I greatly respect and admire what he has accomplished in his career.

But I would suggest that he take a few minutes to review my record as a leader in business and as a problem solver before he dismisses me as the radio talk-show guy from Atlanta with not much to offer as a presidential candidate. Mr. Rove's perspective also suggests that successful business skills are not applicable to changing the "Titanic" course our federal government is on.

People outside the political establishment are starting to recognize that those business skills are applicable. Maybe that's why Cain is rising in the polls.

One of my favorite political commentators, Charles Krauthammer of Fox News, described my candidacy as entertainment. I enjoy his perspectives because he is usually very thoughtful and often correct in his analysis. Unfortunately, this time he got it wrong. Some people would describe being able to give an informative and inspiring speech as an asset, especially if one is running for president.

There's trouble in Obama's Paradise ~ By Erik Rush

There is trouble in Paradise. Obama and his haughty, arrogant minions are not as confident as they portray themselves to be. The exit of key advisers and Cabinet members indicates this, as does the dissolution of support within his base. Aside from the seemingly imprudent measures many agree Obama has taken, others appear blatantly self-destructive in the political sense. There have been murmurings of secret informants leaking information to press sources, of fear, shock and disgust among people who either work or have worked in this administration.

To add to this, the president doesn't look good. While many chief executives experience marked aging in the job, Obama looks increasingly drawn and stressed. One can only speculate as to whether he has sought chemical assistance in managing himself during his presidency, but I have heard it suggested. And while I'm no physician, I've enough experience with chemical dependency to say that I would not be surprised, given his demeanor and comportment in recent months. As I write this, Obama is creating a train wreck of decorum during his trip to the United Kingdom, babbling insensibly to Irish citizens who entertained him, botching a toast to the queen and forgetting what year it was.

Asking an individual what year it is, as you may be aware, is one of the often-employed indicators of mental capacity when a head injury or psychological impairment is suspected.
I realized something today. The column written by Erik Rush touched on about every emotion I hold at this time. I can not add to it. In fact, I've been finding that thought hitting me in the face quite often, lately:

The goal is to defeat President Obama.

So, after long, prayerful consideration, I believe that I've made the correct decision: I have decided not to run for President in 2012. We (Republicans) have many potential candidates to choose from. Enough, already! If we're divided by choosing between a Conservative and a Moderate, it will be another 2008. In fact, is there really any way for us to unite in the GOP? Do we really need more candidates in the mix? Isn't it about time to quit throwing hats into the ring?

Enough, already!

Just remember this, and I'll say it once again: The goal is to defeat President Obama.

United we win and survive, for our children and grandchildren. Divided we fall. I'm just sayin'...

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Within the Christian concept of spiritual warfare, the notion is that the outward manifestations of evil and strife in our lives and in the world are but a representation of the exertions of evil forces in unseen planes of existence. Given such a scenario, it is easy to see how unbelievers (non-Christians) would remain wholly oblivious to the significance of developments on either side.

Likewise, there are a host of occurrences taking place in America and on the world stage of which most people are ignorant. I speak not of shady, sinister New World Order conspiracies, but of events and machinations that lie in plain sight (at least to some), but which have gleaned little attention, either by design or because we have been conditioned to complacency and intellectual indolence.

Conservative news junkies are well apprised of President Obama's craven betrayal of the nation of Israel (vis-à-vis his declaration that borders for Israel and a new Palestinian state should be based on those in existence in 1967), as well as his having subsequently backpedaled those statements in the face of a popular backlash. Now, they are witnessing the likely disintegration of American Jewish support for Obama; since most American Jews are not blind leftist ideologues, they are beginning to seriously question the president's Israel policy and perhaps his very worldview where the Jewish people are concerned.

My assessment is that this is a no-brainer; the worldview with which Obama was raised, coupled with such things as his affiliations with anti-Semitic factions and individuals (The Nation of Islam's Louis Farrakhan and Rev. Jeremiah Wright, to name but two) and his tenure at Trinity United Church in Chicago speak for themselves. They reek of anti-Semitism. Why would one be surprised that he's leaving Israel to the wolves?

Not just leaving that nation to the wolves; actually, Obama has executed the equivalent of starving the wolves and pouring meat sauce on our ally. As reported by WND in February, Obama emissaries fomented riots and the subsequent chaos in Egypt, in order to oust that nation's government and position the Muslim Brotherhood for the installation of an Islamist regime. The president has also taken an inordinately aggressive and presumptuously dynamic role in addressing unrest in the Middle East.

Yet Obama continues to prattle on about the "struggle for democracy" in which the oppressed in Muslim nations seek to overthrow their autocratic overlords. In truth, Obama is helping to set the stage for Islamist regimes to replace those of the autocrats, thus essentially sealing Israel's fate, as advocated by his own National Security Council special adviser Samantha Power.

Apparently, the left is attempting to redefine the concept of democracy itself, as it increasingly ascribes the term to that which more strongly resembles collectivist totalitarianism.

Proselytizing at the Super Bowl? (Shame on you, Will.i.am) ~ By Victoria Jackson

It's funny that what liberals hate most about Christians is proselytizing – yet they use every public opportunity to shove their agenda down our throats starting with gay pride parades, propaganda news, TV and movies, Oscars, Grammies ... and now football.

As if it isn't difficult enough to sway the masses toward the truth, we have RINOs! I just learned what that meant a year ago, about the time Meghan McCain came on the scene. RINO means Republican In Name Only. This week she dissed my favorite role model, Michele Bachmann.

MICHELE BACHMANN and VICTORIA JACKSON
So, here's my attempt at proselytizing back at ya!

Video provided by PasadenaTeaParty ~ February 27, 2010

Liberals are passionate proselytizers, but they have the wrong message. Conservatives have the right message, but need to proselytize more.

Victoria is trying to figure out why it is okay for liberals to proselytize at public events, so why can't Conservatives or Christians? Yes, Victoria, I think that many of us have a difficult time trying to figure that out! Rush Limbaugh was not allowed to buy a pro football team. Valedictorians can't mention God or Jesus in their commencement speeches. Athletes like Kurt Warner or Tim Tibo give all the credit to Jesus Christ after a big victory, and the person holding the microphone on the field rolls their eyes. A high school football player points to the sky after a touchdown and gets flagged for "unsportsmanship-like conduct". Go figure.

Proselytize: to induce someone to convert to one's faith; to recruit someone to join one's party, institution or cause

We left Kissammee, Fla., where Teenager's cheer squad came in third place to get home in time for our good friend's Super Bowl party. Watching men smash into each other isn't my favorite pastime, so I hung out with the teenagers. We went online and looked up what Angelina Jolie's tattoos meant. I googled "Bible Verse Tattoos" and suddenly naked private parts popped up on the screen. The teenagers screamed and fled. I quickly erased that and typed in "Is it a sin for a Christian to have a tattoo?" I showed the teenagers what Leviticus said and what Paul said in 1 Corinthians 6:12 that for a Christian, "all things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient," and that we shouldn't be a stumbling block. This is a gray area, like alcohol. I encouraged the teens not to get tattoos or drink alcohol, but if they must, to wait until age 50. That was my advice. The article had one pro-tattoo verse, "I have become all things to all men that I might win some," inferring that tattoos would be a good thing if your mission field is bikers and ex-cons. I guess my future is mapped out for me.

Trying to help me out, one teenager showed me this new product she had used to "cover up" a hickey that she didn't want her mom to see. Oh boy. TMI (too much information). Maybe I should be watching football with the grownups. The thick cream by Kat Von D completely "covers" tattoos.

[Side note: My preacher son-in-law, a big Packers fan, preached on Psalm 32 this weekend. "The great exchange" is that we bring God our sin and He 1) "covers" it, 2) takes the burden of guilt and makes it disappear, and 3) gives us forgiveness and righteousness, a clean slate.]

Finally, the Super Bowl halftime came. I can relate to the show biz part of the game. The Black Eyed Peas (the group that taught my daughter her first bad word) were wearing sparkly electricity outfits and shouting words I couldn't understand. I guess you call it "rap." It's definitely not music. There is no melody, unless they steal it, which is called "sampling." True story. I worked with a rap "artist" once and he didn't know what the chords C, G and F were! For real. So, I'm watching the halftime show when suddenly the Will.i.am guy says, "umba-clambo-darwiz-blahnik-Obamagiveuseducation-schlambo-romtick-wizzle. ..." I did a double take! Obama! Usually the only words I can decipher in rap are vulgar obscenities.

I "Bing-ed" it so I could see what he said.

"In America we need to get things straight / Obama let's get these kids educated / Create jobs so the country stays stimulated / This is dedicated to all the innovators," he sang.

What do politics have to do with football?

Do all the other Super Bowls have political messages inserted into their halftimes? Or is this the first year? I don't know. I never watch the Super Bowl. Is it equal air time? Sometimes conservative, sometimes liberal?

Still not getting it ~ By Robert Ringer

Shamefully, a number of establishment Republicans have borrowed the favorite strategy of the left: Isolate and disparage your opponent. It's like the last gasp of a dying dinosaur. Christine O'Donnell has been broke most of her life. Christine O'Donnell had a tax lien filed against her. And Christine O'Donnell lost her home through foreclosure as a result of that tax lien.

Calling all RINOS: Tea-party voters do not view these as negatives. Christine O'Donnell is us! She represents everything tea-party people are mad about. Tax liens make them angry at Washington, not at the person who is on the receiving end of the tax lien. Foreclosures make them mad at Washington, which is the real source of most people's financial problems, not at the person whose house has been foreclosed.
Before you read on, there is something to straighten out concerning what Robert wrote about Christine O'Donnell's tax lien and financial problems. Because of the way the media has gone after Christine on her personal life rather than on the issues, it is important that we know the truth about this candidate. In the video below, starting at 6:10, she gives her side of the story about the tax lien and other financial issues. However, I recommend that you watch the entire video of this segment:

Christine O'Donnell on Hannity - Part 1

Video provided by TheREALjohnny2k

Robert Ringer says something in this column that I have been saying, or at least thinking, for a long, long time: "They want everyday folks to go to Washington." Unfortunately, that is getting harder and harder for everyday people to be able to do because of the growing campaign costs. However, as Christine O'Donnell has shown, it can be done, at least in her primary victory over Mike Castle. She did it with a tenth of the money that Castle spent, and surely much less name recognition. I am hoping that her victory will prove to the Beltway establishment Republicans just how important the Tea Party Movement is. I am also praying that it will encourage other patriots to step up to the plate to take on the establishment politicians from either party, at all levels of government. Just sayin'...
Tea-party voters are savvy enough to realize that none of Christine O'Donnell's personal misfortunes would stop her from voting no to every unconstitutional spending bill served up by congressional progressives. That is what they are looking for in a candidate.

Say what you will about Sarah Palin, she gets it. So does Michele Bachmann, Paul Ryan, Jim DeMint, Ron Paul, Tom Price and a bunch of other tea-party types in the House and Senate. None of them are perfect when it comes to voting – it's an ugly, rough-and-tumble contact sport up there on Capitol Hill – but they're at least making a sincere effort to dramatically reduce government spending and government power. If all Republicans in the House and Senate were in line with them, the future of both our economy and our freedom would look much different than it does today.

Half or more of the American people don't want candidates with experience. They don't want candidates with blue-ribbon credentials. They don't want candidates with Kennedy-like pedigrees. They want everyday folks to go to Washington and repeal Health-care Hell and every other piece of legislation that is unconstitutional. And, yes, they want all entitlement programs phased out.

By now, people should be beyond surprise when a tea-party candidate upsets an establishment Democrat or Republican – either in a primary or regular election. After all, they've had a year to get used to it.

Nevertheless, the tidal wave of tea-party-candidate victories continues to surprise – and upset – many media pundits and, even more so, establishment politicians. Every possible attempt has been made to marginalize the tea-party people as extremists, but I think it's safe to say that that's a battle that was over a long time ago – and the losers were the hate-mongering left and disbelievers on the establishment right.

But now we've crossed into a danger zone. Trent Lott says that "As soon as (newly elected tea-party people) get here, we need to co-opt them." And, once again displaying the RINO willingness to compromise principles, House Republican Leader John Boehner said, on "Face the Nation," that he would vote for a tax cuts for people making under $250,000 a year (leaving out those with incomes higher than $250,000) if that's his "only option."

Finally, the shocker: The ever-astute Karl Rove, who has been a strong tea-party supporter, allowed a bit of establishment bias to surface when he lambasted the tea party's newest star, Christine O'Donnell. I have no doubts that Rove sincerely believes that establishment candidate Mike Castle, a nine-term congressman, had a much better chance of winning Joe Biden's old Senate seat in Delaware than O'Donnell.

But that misses the point. In fact, in an unintended way, the great non-entity David Gergen – of CNN non-fame – made the best case against Castle by lamenting, "O'Donnell's opponent knew how to work with Democrats." How's that for an endorsement?

The question is, what do establishment Republicans think they would have gained by Castle's election to the Senate? The notion that the Republican's main goal should be to get majorities in both the House and Senate is badly flawed. Having a majority doesn't mean anything if a significant number of that majority repeatedly backs socialist bills offered up by Democrats. They may just as well be Democrats.

So long as Republicans in the Senate include constitutionally subversive progressives like John McCain, Richard Lugar, Orrin Hatch, Susan Collins, Lindsey Graham and Olympia Snowe – to name but a handful of examples – having a "majority" is meaningless.

What a large number of Republicans cannot seem to come to grips with is that tea-party people are simply everyday Americans. In fact, most tea-party people have never gone to a tea-party rally, but feel just as strongly about what is happening to America as those who are actively involved in the movement.

If there is any hope for the Republican Party to survive, the word compromise must be eradicated from the minds of philosophically confused "conservatives" in their ranks. You cannot compromise between right and wrong. You cannot compromise between freedom and slavery. You cannot comprise between stealing and respecting the property of others. You cannot compromise between constitutional and unconstitutional.
