Right now, American is prepping for a huge battle over who was right about the pandemic.

The Covid-19 models were far over the actual figures. Like Greg says, that may not have been a bad thing at all. Well, other than taking away our great economy, most of our freedoms, and probably causing much more grief than we should have had.

You do know that stress has very bad health affects, right? That some people would resort to alcohol and drug abuse to get them through this? That suicides are up? You do know that, right?

Then, maybe, it's time to get people back to work! And, maybe get some people out of the house. A little exercise and Vitamin D from the sunshine. It's what we need right now. Oh, and a whole lot of praying, and Faith! Yes, get the churches back up and running! That would be great at this time of need. That could be the Gorilla Glue we ultimately need that helps to hold the fabric of civilization together, and bring this country back to being great... again.

When your grandkids ask you what you did in the 'Great Quarantine of 2020,' you can say: 'Not much, but we did it all together.'

What Greg Gutfeld said was so true.  It is not an April Fools prank.  The one thing we know is that we ARE all in this together.  We just have to stay at home, but it will just be temporary, they say.  Anyway, Greg's idea was good; let's hit a "pause button."  With the things that are happening now, to protect those that are vulnerable to the Coronavirus, we are all taking a huge financial hit.

Being The Five, you could almost count on an argument, but it really didn't go that way.  Even Juan Williams, in adding his 2 cents, actually complemented President Trump's leadership!  (That clip is at 7:00 minutes into the video.)  They all had great things to say about the need for unity, and that we are actually seeing it happen.  Yes, I've seen the 1st Responders saluting the doctors and nurses as they exited or entered the hospital in the shift changes.

And can I add my two cents, too?  I pray for, and salute all of the health care workers and everyone working at the hospitals or medical offices.  I pray for, and salute all of the first responders: Law enforcement officers, firefighters, and EMTs. And I pray for, and salute all of the people that are essential employees and go to work, among the public, in the stores that remain open.

And, I give all the glory to the Lord for people like Mike Lindell that are not only doing things for our country, but are not afraid to say they Love our Lord.  Well, maybe this blog will be a career ender for me, but I can see how much God is working in all of our lives right now.  Actually, He is the main reason that I am doing these blogs.  For the love of this great nation, and We the People.  We will get through this!

Gutfeld on the debate in times of pandemic ~ Fox News Video

The biggest takeaway from the Demonicrat debate on Sunday, March 15, 2020, is that through all of this, their biggest arguments have been on impeaching President Donald Trump, and deciding on who was the most Progressive, or as I call it, Marxist.

The segment starts out with Greg Gutfeld's commentary, followed by a great discussion with Greg, Kennedy, Juan Williams, Jesse Watters and Dana Perino, regarding who "won" the debate between Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders. Of course, while the debate was going on, the Coronavirus, and the course of action taken by the Federal, State, and local governments, kept on changing the course of our lives in many deep ways.

I have such a high respect for all first responders, and for the wonderful things they do to keep us safe.  However, as in anything, there are occasional, or even rare, exceptions.  In this video segment on The Five (June 4, 2019, Fox News Channel, 5:00 pm Eastern), we see one of those rare times that things didn't go quite as planned.  Nobody gets hurt in this video, but it had to be a scary experience for the poor lady being rescued after a fall in the Grand Canyon.  (I would not have shared this video had there been a bad injury or fatality.)

While I was watching this video, I have to admit, I was laughing so hard that I about fell out of my chair.  And then, Greg Gutfeld makes a comment about the people that laughed about this poor lady's rescue gone terribly wrong. I have to plead guilty, but when you know that it all ends well, I don't think that it is anything but normal to laugh.

VIDEO: Lost IRS emails: Are they stupid or do they think we're stupid?

The hosts of The Five on the Fox News Channel brought up some obvious flaws in the Obama administration's excuse that two years of IRS email (including email of Ms. Lois Lerner and six other IRS officials) was missing due to a computer glitch. So, the story here is, either somebody was very incompetent in their job of protecting data, or the emails were "conveniently lost" with the expectation that nobody in the mainstream media would notice or care. Being that the story came out in the late Friday news dump last week, it would appear that the lack of media coverage was hoped for.

Well, here are my thoughts on this. I'm inclined to believe that the Obama administration is stupid for thinking that We the People are stupid. Some of us are compelled to follow the news, and see what's happening. We then do what we can to spread the news. This is one of those times. Just sayin'...

VIDEO: The troubling gaffes by political candidates is getting worse!

To be fair, when asked about David Perdue's comments, this is how campaign spokesman Derrick Dickey responded:

David was simply making the case that he is the most qualified person in this race to help get our economy back on track so that we can start paying down the massive federal debt. His comment was based on facts that are a matter of public record.

I further learned from the Atlantic Journal Constitution column by Jim Galloway that Handel's campaign manager Corry Bliss responded to the email in this way:

It is disappointing that David would demean someone who—by no fault of her own—moved out of an abusive home at age 17, and with her own hard work and determination, is the embodiment of the American Dream.

Karen is an example of how, with great perseverance and sheer will, the circumstances under which you grow up do not dictate your ability to succeed.

While David boasts about all the time he spent living in Europe and Asia, and all of the millions of dollars he intends to spend on this race, this election is about who conservatives can relate to and trust to get results in the United States Senate.

Look, what David Perdue said about Karen Handel was possibly worse than what Rep. Bruce Braley (D-IA) managed to do by disparaging Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) because he doesn't have a law degree. At least what Braley said only matters to liberals that agree with him, such as trial lawyers that don't want tort reform.  In Perdue's case, it was a drastic political error, because he was dividing Republicans by purporting to be "above" Karen Handel only because of his education level. 

Yes, it is very disturbing, not just to me, but to even the hosts of The Five.  Greg Gutfeld says in this segment, "This woman is actually overqualified by not going to college."  And Dana Perino very eloquently says that the voters in the Republican primary in Georgia have their answer when it comes to picking the right person to be their candidate.

A long story short?  If you are running for a political office in a Republican primary, don't go divisive like the typical liberals do, especially when it is one of your own!  I can't wait to see if Karen Handel gets a large bump in the polls.  I suspect that she will.  Republicans that do the liberal kind of things, like disparaging opponents, and acting like global elitists, are what I call RINOs.  Just sayin'...

Helen Thomas needs to go ~ By Joseph Farah

The column by Joseph Farah and the video you will see below are both breathtaking. I could not agree with Joseph more! I mean, really, how could this old hag ever again see the inside of the White House, let alone the press room? This is almost beyond belief that she could say what she says (See exhibit A) and still be employed by Hearst Corp.?

Let me just ask one thing: Is the liberal press all like her? I mean, good God, do they really want to share the same air with her? Do they not realize if they don't get rid of Helen Thomas NOW, the evil stench will stick to them, too? JUST SAYIN'!!!!

She wants the Jews to go home to Germany and Poland – where 6 million of them, about half the Jewish population in the entire world – were exterminated. Israel was the refuge for the survivors. But Helen Thomas has aligned herself with Hezbollah, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Hamas and neo-Nazis around the world who would like nothing better than to see the Jews wandering again so they can be picked off one by one.

But, as a fellow Lebanese-American and as a real journalist, I want to denounce this detestable old wretch in no uncertain terms. I want her discredited. I want her banished from my industry. I want to see her frog-marched out of the White House and the briefing rooms. And I want to see the Hearst Corp., for which I worked so hard and long, do the right thing and fire her.

I worked for the Hearst Corp. for a long time – almost 10 years.

Therefore, I have some really important and good advice for my old employer and any colleagues who might still be around.

Get rid of Helen Thomas now!

She is an embarrassment to the Hearst Corp., to the entire White House press corps and to the journalistic community – if any of them can still be embarrassed.

What am I talking about?

Isn't Helen Thomas the dean of the White House press corps? Doesn't she command the respect of all her colleagues? Isn't she something of a press institution?

There's no question Thomas has been treated respectfully by her peers and by successive White Houses. I can't really understand why. Yes, she's old. Yes, she's crotchety. Yes, she's been around a long time.

But it's time to put her out to pasture. It's time to bar her from the White House press corps. It's time to retire her – ignominiously. It's time for all good journalists and respectable politicians (I know that's a small fraternity) to walk away from her and shake the dust from their shoes.

Why?

Am I just being cruel?

No, I would like you to look at Exhibit A in the case against Helen Thomas:

I don't feel any other exhibits are necessary, though I could surely list them. It's not the first time I have attempted to expose this witch for what she is.

In fact, I corresponded with Tony Snow and Dana Perino during the Bush years about this battle ax and the undue respect she was afforded – even while the affable and lovable Les Kinsolving was often vilified by them.

Perino dressed me down for the contempt I showed Thomas. Dana may be very easy on the eyes, but she is hardly the most discerning and astute observer of the media and political scene.

Can you imagine in 2010 any other media or political figure getting away with saying Jews in Israel should go back to Germany and Poland?

It's stunning. It's breathtaking. It's flabbergasting.

This is a first-rate, raw-boned, dyed-in-the-wool Jew-hater.

And she represents the Hearst Corp.

She is revered by the White House press corps.

She is treated with dignity by presidents.

Can someone please explain this to me?

Why isn't Abe Foxman campaigning to get her fired and disgraced?

Where's the Anti-Defamation League when you need them?

Aren't there any professional organizations among journalists to censure this beast for this kind of hate-talk?

Now I've always known Thomas was an anti-Semite. It's been obvious in her work for decades. It's been obvious in her earlier comments about Israel. But this is a classic illustration – undeniable evidence.

If Pat Buchanan said this, he would be drummed out of the commentary business.
