In this episode I address the Democrats pushing to “defund the police,” and the chaos that would result from this nonsense. I also address the epic failure of Rod Rosenstein to account for the Spygate scandal. Finally, I discuss the incredibly economic numbers which may indicate we’re moving back to prosperity.Don't worry about a thing, folks, the Liberals in the major urban areas and Blue states, have it all under control. No, Dan didn't say that, and I'm being so sarcastic. It must be Sarcastic Saturday, right? Well, while some of those states and cities were still in lock downs, or maybe allowed to open their small businesses, while being forced to work with half, or less, of their normal pre-Wuhan revenues, so they could institute "social distancing" practices.
Meanwhile, the people in those areas were allowed to go out and protest the murder of George Floyd, and while they were at it, bad elements of society came along and caused massive amounts of property damage, looting and pillaging, and destroying the very businesses that would be hiring many people after the lockdowns were over. Geniuses. Really, I don't think those people thought it out very well. I'm speaking of the politicians. With all the people out peacefully marching, and some without wearing protective masks, will we be seeing a massive spike of new Coronavirus cases? Will we see the number of hospitalizations become overwhelming, and Coronavirus deaths spiraling out of control? Those are the questions that I've been asking since the protests became real following the public execution by the police of a Minnesota man. But, can I ask, what happens if there isn't some kind of spike from the lack of social distancing? Were we duped and had our livelihoods taken away for no reason?
Despite this episode being loaded for bear, and there is a lot that Dan will get to, probably the biggest attention grabber for me was when he discussed the Brian Fallon tweet that says, "Defund the police." In case you didn't see it, I did a retweet with comment on my timeline, where I say, "What a total moron for tweeting this. Has anyone actually thought this through? When somebody invades their homes, who are they going to call, Ghost Busters? Is Superman going to come save them? Brian Fallon's tweet is 10 times more absurd than anything I can say about it."
So, is it just me that thinks that those calling for defunding their police, or even dismantling the police force, have not thought it through very carefully? Yes, Mr. Floyd's death was terribly tragic, horrifying for everyone (except cave dwellers) that saw it in the videos and/or news channels. While the thing that happened should be treated as an anomaly, by several rogue cops, the Liberal left is telling everybody that it is systemic racism. I do not agree with that assessment.
In yesterday's post, I had written something that I want to correct. I was speaking of Demonicrat politicians, and I wrote: "Yes, there are still some very bad people out there, and SOME of them will eventually face another election." I should have added the following: "And some day they will be face to face with their Maker." Maybe too blunt, but there is a point to this. Racism really isn't wide spread, or systemic, in America.
Since my days of childhood in the 50's and 60's, vast improvements have been made. I don't see racism like I saw it 50 years ago. Not even close. I won't deny that there are still improvements to be made! Yes, that is something we can all unite on, and we can do it despite the influence of the dark forces of evil that need economically challenged people that will depend on the government, from cradle to grave. We can, and we will make those changes, and a lot of that needs to be done at the ballot box in all national, state, and local elections. Just sayin'...
Okay, as usual, I've had my rant for the day. Please keep in mind that I do hope you watch the Dan Bongino Show episodes that I have been placing in many of my posts. For me, watching them has been a very important part of my days and nights. I get to see Dan qualify my values and beliefs, and knowing that I'm not alone out here, in flyover country, "just a nobody" that believes that America is still a great country, and a miracle that really shouldn't have happened. (Yes, in this episode, Dan will explain that, too!)
No, I know I'm NOT alone, and definitely NOT a nobody! And there is this: For those of us that love America, many of us believe that President Donald Trump is making America great again, and that he will continue to do so if elected this November for another four years. Now, we do have some new challenges that need to be worked out, but with 2.5 million Americans going back to work in the latest numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS)... And that leftist "economist" Paul Krugman denied could be true, with a tweet that apparently said that the BLS fudged the numbers, but had to walk back. Enough said about that hack.
Get the popcorn ready, and have at it! It is seriously one of Dan's best since I've been watching him. Ding, ding, ding! (You will only get that if you are watching The Dan Bongino Show.) Roll the tape!
