Trumponomics: Whats Next for the Economy with Stephen Moore ~ Ep. 1274 ~ The Dan Bongino Show®

From the Dan Bongino Show's description of this episode on youtube.com/Bongino or in his Show Notes:
In this episode, I interview economics advisor for President Trump, and author of “Trumponomics,” Stephen Moore. The book is available here: Trumponomics: Inside the America First Plan to Revive Our Economy
Well, first, I have to tell you why you really need to see this episode.  I know that some will falter when it comes to economics.  But even then, you will probably still be able to grasp some of the information that this Episode 1274 will provide to you.  I really hope that you will check this out!

Why is Bernie Sanders Lying to You? ~ Ep. 1188 ~ The Dan Bongino Show®

At the beginning of Episode 1188, Dan explains why Bernie Sanders' spending plan is so large, that Bernie isn't able to explain how he would pay for it. That is because there isn't anyway to explain it, or pay for it! Bernie kind of gets a bit befuddled when he is asked that kind of question. You will see clips of Bernie trying hard to deflect from that "minor" issue with his answers.

Then, Dan addresses "the latest NY Times story which is a clear effort to get out ahead of the growing FBI FISA scandal." Dan translates what they’re really saying. Basically, could it be that it really has to do with the pending expiration of three investigative powers that the FBI wants extended, now in a draft bill? So, if that should be true, the FBI is leaking stories to the MSM, and this time to the NY Times, who then massages the story to make it sound like there was no political motivation for spying on President Trump's campaign and then his Presidency. That's the fake news New York Times that published the story, which Dan covers very thoroughly, and you need to see it!

And then, there's the story about the Russians trying to help President Trump in the 2020 election. That story has already gone sideways.  I would compare that to a story I could make up that would be just as ridiculous: "The Russians forced their 1980 Olympic hockey team take a fall to lose to the U.S. team, in order to help Ronald Reagan win the 1980 election."  It makes no sense. I really doubt that Russia would want to help Donald Trump to become President in 2016 nor reelected in 2020. However, I actually could see Hillary Clinton being a Russian asset had she won in 2016.

Speaking of the Devil (maybe literally), Dan finally addresses a "stunning rumor" about the possible entrance of Hillary Clinton into the Democrats’ race for the presidency, according to Dick Morris. That would require a brokered Demonicrat Convention.  It looks really good for Bernie following the latest Nevada Caucuses win by big margins.  Here's how I see it:  If Bernie wins the nomination for the Demonicrats, his Socialist  agenda will be easily defeated by President Trump.  If Hillary were to take away that nomination in a brokered convention, it will split the Democrats so that Bernie Bros end up voting for Donald Trump or a third party candidate. I think that the Demonicrats lose, either way.

Finally, I must tell you this. I've been faithfully watching the Dan Bongino Show for awhile, and I am learning so much.  But over the weekend, I was thinking, what about all the people that aren't watching Dan's show, and being informed? For too many reasons to mention right now, people need to be able to find the right information. Yes, of course, many of my colleagues on Twitter are very informed, and totally fired up to reelect President Trump.  But, we really need to keep on reaching out, to neutralize the disinformation from the Left's fake news (such as what Dan describes in this episode regarding the NY Times article by Goldman).  Dan is just one of the people that have the ability to give us information that can help to get through what the Left is saying. So, not for me, but for this country, and a definite win by President Trump in November this year, it would really help for you to share this story, and many more of my blog posts, in any way you know how: Twitter, Facebook, or via email; just do it!

Time 2 Escape WIFLI Briefing for Monday, Feb 27, 2012

Welcome to this edition of Time 2 Escape WIFLI Briefing!

What is WIFLI?
You may be wondering what the acronym "WIFLI" means. I started out by calling these issues the Time 2 Escape Daily, but that didn't work out very well. I quickly learned that putting these issues together on a daily basis was a task I was unable to accomplish. To replace "Daily" in the title, I coined the acronym WIFLI, which literally means "When I Feel Like It." Putting together a post on this blog WIFLI works much better for my schedule, and for the higher quality of each issue that is eventually published!
From John Kubicek
Editor In Chief of johnny2k's Blogging In Our Time 2 Escape:

What if we could free ourselves from the yoke of big government through a campaign of education and information and personal courage that leads to a revolutionary return to first principles? What if the establishment doesn’t want this?

~ Judge Andrew Napolitano, in "What if democracy is bunk?"
Yes, folks, there are some questions that we should assume need to be answered before November 6, 2012.

And BELIEVE IT OR NOT, I have been striving to tell you about the questions that we should be aware of, and that there should be an attempt to find answers. I don't have the answers, but I DO know the solutions to our problems can not be solved if the general population of this country is totally oblivious to what faces us in our (near?) future!

But... I have found a troubling situation that needs to be addressed in today's WIFLI Briefing.

The troubling situation is that I sometimes get frustrated and distraught when I find that there is very little traffic for a few days on this blog. That's a pretty silly emotion on my part. All  I have to do is to go back and see the progress I've made over the years, and remember things that I've learned, like the following:
The more experience you have with what doesn’t work, the more you’ll move in the direction of what does work. With persistence and a clear sense of purpose, failure can lead you steadily toward success.

~~ Ralph Marston, Friday, Feb 24, 2012, in "Everything can move you forward"
Rather than giving up when we have setbacks, it should be a greater motivation to keep on truckin'!! Exactly ditto of what Ralph Marston is saying!

Things - like FREEDOM - in America are getting further and further from what I enjoyed while growing up. I happen to now believe in the fact that if I don't do anything about it, I would not only be proving that I am complacent, but I would also be guilty in being complicit in allowing our freedom to be thrown into the dustbin of history. I think that John Stossel hit the nail on the head:

The politicians are spending us into oblivion. But I can’t blame only them. The American people are complacent. We like the goodies. We think we’re getting something for nothing. We are like alcoholics who know we have a problem but just can’t resist one last fix. One more infrastructure bill or jobs plan will jump-start the economy. Then we’ll kick our spending addiction once and for all.

~ John Stossel, in "My plan to balance the budget"
Should freedom in America pass away, so will America, just like the many empires before us. Like I said in a facebook status not long ago, "Let me be perfectly clear: They will have to pry my grasp of Freedom from my cold, dead hands."

And to make no mistake; don't even imagine for even a minute, that this is about any type of monetary reward should the Time 2 Escape blog go viral.  I just want to make sure that as many freedom loving patriots as possible have the information that is available to us, and make sure that the complacency doesn't persist. Though, I guess going viral would be kind of fun! I'm just sayin'...

US Bolsters Defenses in Strait of Hormuz
From NEWSMAX ~ Saturday, 25 Feb 2012 12:22 PM

The Pentagon has notified US lawmakers of plans to bolster US defenses in and around the Strait of Hormuz to be prepared for a military response against Iran, a report said Friday.

New mine-detection and clearing equipment as well as improved surveillance capabilities are part of the planned build-up, said the Wall Street Journal, citing defense officials briefed on the requests.

The Pentagon also wants to modify ship weapons systems to best deal with Iranian attack boats in the Strait, said the report.

The moves highlight efforts to boost US military capabilities amid heightened tension with Iran and rising speculation of a strike from Israel over Iran's nuclear program.

Iran prepares for kamikaze attacks
Tehran military on high alert with planes, speedboats in Persian Gulf
From WND ~ By Reza Kahlili ~ Published Feb 26, 2012

Even as it continued to talk with the U.N. nuclear watchdog, Iran continued to prepare for war over its nuclear weapons program, training for kamikaze attacks in the Persian Gulf with both planes and speedboats, sources within the Iranian armed forces report.

Tuesday the International Atomic Energy Agency called its recent talks with Iran a failure. And just days before, Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, ordered the Revolutionary Guards, along with the army, on high alert, ready with conventional and unconventional means to respond to any aggression by the U.S. or Israel over its nuclear weapons program, the sources say.

The Guards’ missile commanders, in their preparation for a fierce counterattack, have mapped out all U.S. bases in the region to strike with their missiles in order to disrupt America’s air sorties, believing they will be the main thrust of any attack by America.

Wyoming Advances ‘Doomsday Bill’ to Help Residents During Possible Collapse
From THEBLAZE ~ by Billy Hallowell ~ Posted on February 27, 2012 at 8:45am

Over the past few years, economic woes have led to both fear and uncertainty. The Blaze already told you about what “preppers” are doing to ready themselves should disaster become reality. GBTV, too, has brought you “Independence USA,” a reality show featuring a family trying to live off the grid. But now it seems even some politicians are getting in on the preparatory spirit, with officials in the State of Wyoming advancing what many are calling a “Doomsday Bill.”

In the event that America’s political system or economic stability collapses, some Wyoming lawmakers contend that a viable plan must be in place. Enter Bill 85, which passed its first vote in the state’s House on Friday. If advanced, the “Doomsday Bill” would create a state-run government task force that would explore and handle energy supplies, food shortages and other needs related to a potential nationwide governmental collapse.

Bullish on Santorum
Star Parker: Conservative support for senator will only grow in days ahead
From WND Commentary ~ By Star Parker ~ Published Friday, Feb 24, 2012

STAR PARKER
New Gallup polling shows the clearest picture yet of the great divide in the Republican Party that has been pushing Rick Santorum to the head of the class.

Behind Santorum’s 8-point national lead over Romney is a yawing gap in ideological support for the two candidates.

Conservative support for Santorum stands at 42 percent, compared to 24 percent for Romney. Among those who attend church frequently, support for Santorum is at 44 percent and for Romney 22 percent.

In the nation’s heartland in the Midwest and South, Santorum leads by 19 and 8 points, respectively. It is only on the more liberal East and West coasts where the two are running neck and neck.

Was Ronald Reagan
"a perfect conservative"?
The poll also challenges conventional wisdom that Santorum is too conservative for the tastes of independent voters. He is leading Romney among Republican leaning independents by 8 points.

With Santorum establishing himself as the candidate of choice among conservative and churchgoing Republicans, Romney’s tactic, manifest in the debate in Arizona, is to try and discredit Santorum’s credentials that are drawing conservative voters to him.

Yes, Santorum can beat Obama
Exclusive: Tom Tancredo knocks down fence between 'social' issues, 'economic' issues
From WND Commentary ~ By Tom Tancredo ~ Published Friday, Feb 24, 2012

TOM TANCREDO
One of the most reliable truisms in politics is full of irony: When it comes to predicting presidential elections, conventional wisdom is nearly always wrong.

Washington pundits talk and write mostly for themselves, and certainly not for the history books. If they were paid according to their track records as political prognosticators, they would all be on food stamps.

The conventional wisdom in 1960 was that John Kennedy could not win a debate against the experienced Richard Nixon. In 1966, the conventional wisdom said a lightweight movie actor named Ronald Reagan had no chance to unseat the popular incumbent Democratic governor of California. Conventional wisdom in 2008 said Barack Obama has no chance to beat the popular wife of a popular ex-president.

The conventional wisdom a year ago said Mitt Romney would run away with the Republican nomination.

Is there a pattern here? Politics is full of surprises, and 2012 is no different.

The lust for power
Exclusive: Patrice Lewis spotlights government officials' ability to coerce the rest of us
From WND Commentary ~ By Patrice Lewis ~ Published Friday, Feb 24, 2012

Power attracts the corruptible. Suspect all who seek it.

– Frank Herbert, “Dune
PATRICE LEWIS
It was nothing more than a random headline my husband read out loud off the Internet this week, something about how Hillary Clinton wants to be the new president of the World Bank.

“You know,” I commented as I stirred a pot on the stove, “I simply do not understand why people don’t long for a quiet simple life, with a job they can leave behind at the end of the day and a warm and loving family life they can come home to.”

That’s the way most of us are wired, after all. Naturally we have plans and ambitions, but for most people, the family they come home to at the end of the day is the thing that really counts.

But not everyone feels this way. Some people long to be the president of the World Bank for apparently no other reason than a lust for power. It’s like a fever in the blood and a condition literally unfathomable to those who don’t share it. My husband calls it The Centurion Complex (Matthew 8:8-9): I tell them to come and they come; I tell them to go and they go.

Lust is defined as an overwhelming craving. Power is the ability to dominate or rule others. People with a lust for power over others don’t think like you and me. They gauge things on a different scale. Those afflicted with this condition naturally gravitate toward positions in life where obedience is compulsory – and what better arena than government, where their craving can be enforced at the point of a gun?

Supply, Demand, Currency and Futures – The Truth About Gas Prices
From A Voice of Sanity ~ By Robert Ringer ~ Published Monday, Feb 27, 2012

ROBERT RINGER
Our old friend, “pain at the pump,” is with us once again, and this time it promises to be far more painful than the last time around. “Pain at the pump” is a nice little catchphrase, but I’ve never been able to figure out why people pick on gas. After all, isn’t it just as painful to pay $250,000 for a house that used to cost $8,000? Or $30,000 for a car that once cost $2,000? And what about the skyrocketing prices of such basic foods as milk, bread, and eggs?

The fact is that the price of gasoline is relative. Relative to what Americans have been used to paying, $4.00-$5.00 a gallon sounds like a lot. And $6.00-$7.00 a gallon — which is almost certain to come — is going to sound like a lot more. But relative to what countries such as the UK, France, and the Netherlands have been paying for years, these prices are no big deal.

But what, exactly, drives up gas prices? Some of the major factors include:

Supply. So long as “environmentalists” have their way, our lack of accessible domestic supply assures that gas prices will continue to rise. The far left, intent on bringing about a green-energy society, cheers on Richard Nixon’s creation, the Environmental Protection Agency, as it continues to stifle oil production at every turn. Obama’s refusal to build the Keystone Pipeline is just the latest example of how committed the green crowd is to bringing oil production to a standstill.

Demand. The emergence of China and India as economic superpowers, not to mention smaller emerging economic powers such as Chile and Brazil, assures continued upward pressure on energy prices, even if the growth of these economies slows in the coming years.

Middle East tensions. Summed up in one word: Iran.

Currency devaluation. Above all, the Federal Reserve continues to quietly increase the money supply, which puts unrelenting downward pressure on the U.S. dollar. What makes the continual devaluation of the dollar a unique factor is that it creates the illusion that gas prices are rising.

Futures market. Speculators take all of the above factors, and more, into consideration and bet on the future price of oil — the usual result of which is to drive prices still higher.

Of course, there are other factors that play into the equation as well, such as the 18.4¢ per gallon federal excise tax, but the biggest drivers of high gas prices are the five that I’ve listed above.

Even so, there is an even bigger reason why gas prices are sure to rise dramatically in the future: the coming “excess-profits tax.” In less gentle terms, I’m talking about increased government confiscation of oil-company profits. This theft will cause oil companies to pull in their horns and put the brakes not only on oil drilling, but on research for alternative sources of energy as well.

The class-warfare folks in the nation’s capital have a slam dunk when it comes to demonizing the major oil companies. They conveniently ignore the fact that the five largest oil companies — Chevron, Shell, BP, ExxonMobil, and ConocoPhillips — make a bit over 6 percent profit on sales, or about one-fourth the profit margin that Google enjoys. That being the case, one wonders why the kleptomaniacs in Washington don’t slap Google with an excess-profits tax.

Of course, some would argue that people don’t need Google, but they do need gas. Need, however, is a subjective term. It is simply a euphemism for want. Everyone claims to need gas, which simply means they want it. They also want to pay less for gas and less for cars, food, housing, medical care, and baseball, football, and basketball tickets. Worse, pandering politicians have convinced them that not only are their desires needs, but their needs are “rights.” Presto: Just like that, inexpensive gas becomes a right.

The High Priests of Eco-Destruction
From A Voice of Sanity ~ By Michelle Malkin - Wednesday, Feb 22, 2012

MICHELLE MALKIN
Rick Santorum is right. Pushing back against Democrats’ attempts to frame him as a religious menace, the GOP presidential candidate forcefully turned the tables on the White House: “When it comes to the management of the Earth, they are the anti-science ones.

Scrutiny of the White House anti-science brigade couldn’t come at a better time (which is why Santorum’s detractors prefer to froth at the mouth about comments he made four years ago on the existence of Satan). It’s not just big-ticket scandals like the stimulus-subsidized Solyndra bankruptcy or the Keystone pipeline debacle bedeviling America. In every corner of the Obama administration, the radical green machinery is hard at work — destroying jobs, shredding truth and sacrificing our economic well-being at the altar of environmentalism.

—Take Obama’s head of the National Park Service, please. While serving as the Pacific West regional director of the NPS, Jon Jarvis was accused of at least 21 instances of scientific misconduct by Dr. Corey Goodman, a high-ranking member of the National Academy of Sciences. Extensive information about Jarvis’ alleged role in cooking data about a California oyster farm’s impact on harbor seals at Point Reyes was withheld during the 2009 nomination process. Interior Secretary Ken Salazar has ignored complaints and follow-up from both Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein and Republican Sens. James Inhofe and David Vitter.

The National Research Council determined that the NPS had “selectively” slanted its report on the oyster farm. The federal Marine Mammal Commission found that “the data and analyses are not sufficient to demonstrate a causal relationship” between the farm’s operations and harbor seal health. In a letter blasting the NPS for bullying the small oyster farm, Feinstein — normally a reliable eco-ally — concluded earlier this month that the “crux of the problem is that the Park Service manipulated science while building a case that the business should be shuttered.”

U.S Armed Forces - We Must Fight - President Reagan (HD)

Video provided by canadianmatt3 on Feb 19, 2012

And, finally, there is this:
You don’t ever have to settle for less than the very best from life. Because you can envision what you desire and you can work diligently to make it so.

Some would assume that the necessity of effort is a burdensome curse. Yet in reality it is one of life’s greatest blessings.

For it is the necessity of effort that enables you to dream your most treasured dreams, and then to make them real. You have the power to do it, and right here, right now, is when you can.

Herman Cain is the real deal ~ By Tom Tancredo

Tom Tancredo brings up some great points about Herman Cain, including both his strengths and his weaknesses. Tom explains why he believes that Herman Cain satisfies the needed qualities of the next President of the United States in accordance with Ronald Reagan's three 'C's for qualification: character, competence and commitment. In Tom's words, "Herman Cain passes all three with flying colors, whereas Romney and Perry … not so much. "

I would add one more 'C': Conviction. I suppose that could fit within either character or commitment, or maybe it defines those twp qualities. Cain's conviction to his principles would easily help to explain his great amount of character and commitment!

The one weakness that is plaguing Herman Cain, which Tancredo comments on in this column, is Cain's political inexperience. That is definitely something that has to be overcome in the Cain campaign. However, if winning depends on political experience, we're in trouble. And yes, WIN we MUST, because we can't deal with another four years of Barack Obama. However, look what happened when we nominated a candidate with political experience that went on to win the White House for Republicans: i.e. Richard Nixon.

This is why Tancredo's column should be read from beginning to end: Not everything you will hear in the media about Cain's "weaknesses" (i.e. political experience) are necessarily going to disqualify Herman Cain as the top Republican candidate. I'm just sayin'... and so is Tom Tancredo.

Herman Cain is the real deal
TOM TANCREDO

Herman Cain would make a great president of the United States. He is my candidate, and he has a good chance of becoming the candidate of the Republican Party.

Cain's only weakness is political inexperience, and that leads to mistakes in his campaign, but it is not a disqualification for the office. In fact, in the eyes of most voters, it is more a blessing than a curse.

Based on my 30 years in public life, I see three qualifications for public office and for the office of president. These three qualifications have nothing to do with "electability." Citizens, unlike professional campaign consultants, ask other questions before asking if a candidate is electable. Voters want to know what kind of leader he would be in the White House, and if he can't or won't lead us out of our current mess, then "electability" is irrelevant.

The three most essential qualifications for president are the same three qualifications used for selecting appointees in the Reagan administration in 1981. The Reagan White House wanted every appointee to meet three tests called the "three C's": character, competence and commitment. Herman Cain passes all three with flying colors, whereas Romney and Perry … not so much.

By all the evidence, Cain's character is stellar in every respect. He is truthful, honest, loyal, hardworking and forthright. He keeps his promises, and scandal has never touched him.

Obama's 'worst nightmare' seeks showdown with prez

The HERMANATOR
Cain said he doesn't think he'll have a problem convincing establishment Republicans to accept him as a legitimate candidate.

"They are not going to reject me," he said confidently. "They're going to slowly warm up to me because I think they are starting to see that I'm creating a lot of excitement."

At the Georgia Republican Convention on May 14, Cain was reportedly greeted with 10 standing ovations that dwarfed those given to former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.

"He defies the media's idea of what a Republican is," one delegate told the Southern Political Report. "He's a black entrepreneur who speaks for everyone. That's something people are warming up to. Plus, he hasn't held [elective] office before, so he has no record that people can take issue with. He's popular."

On "The Rush Limbaugh Show" today, one caller told Limbaugh he is leaning toward voting for Herman Cain in the Republican primary.

"I don't think anybody is a long-shot right now," Limbaugh responded. "There's nothing that says Herman Cain can't win this thing."

But does Cain have what it takes to compete with Obama's massive fundraising efforts?

As one supporter put it, "Obama might be raising $1 billion, but the voters in this country are going to raise some Cain."

WND Reporter Chelsea Schilling wrote a terrific column about Herman Cain. Much of the information in this column will never be reported in the mainstream media. In order for you to receive the full benefit of all that you can find out about Herman Cain from this column, you will need to read the full story. You can then read what Herman considers to be solutions to the issues, including boosting the economy, taxes, energy independence, fixing the nation's entitlement programs, and immigration.

There was an excellent question
Chelsea asked Herman Cain that I have to share with you here. Chelsea had asked Herman if he "believes the mainstream media will give him preferential treatment because he is a black candidate, just as they appeared to do with Obama during the 2008 campaign." Before you read the complete column where you will read Herman's excellent response, ponder on that question for awhile. How would you want a Presidential candidate for the Republican Party to answer that question?  How do you think Herman responded? I will only give you this one clue: Herman knows that the Obama supporters will forget that he is black, and he knows that the opponents will vilify him for being Conservative.

Glenn Beck and Herman Cain
This week, Glenn Beck announced his Restoring Courage Rally to be held in Jerusalem in August of this year, which is why I decided to  excerpt this part of the column.  This is where Chelsea had quoted from Herman's column this week. I am sure that you will clearly see that it is directly related to what Barack Obama had proposed in a speech yesterday, and what he will talk to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about today.

In light of these events, it is vital for you to know where Herman stands on Israel:
"On the other hand, I do know enough about our solid relationship with Israel from decades of observations that I would make it even stronger, a move that isn't just about dollars. And, I would not be hesitant to let the rest of the world know that we will stand by and with our friends."
You get the idea, right? Not since 1979 when Ronald Reagan was addressing the nation in various places have I been this excited! And I hope that you will soon join me in this excitement, if you haven't already! We know that "Spooky Dude" (George Soros) will have his minions out in force once "The Hermanator" becomes the Conservative force in the flesh.

Just forget what the establishment Republicans (RINOs) want. That hasn't worked out for election victories for the GOP.  I just want to prove to you that this is the person that should be the top CONSERVATIVE candidate for the Republican ticket - that can win!  So, watch this recent video with me, and then you decide. I'm just sayin'...

Obama's 'worst nightmare' seeks showdown with prez
'I feel God's hand in decision that I am going to announce'

An American success story and tea-party favorite who could be Obama's "worst nightmare" tells WND he will make a "very important announcement" to the nation in less than 48 hours.

Herman Cain:
Obama's Worst Nightmare
"I feel God's hand in this decision that I'm going to announce on Saturday, May 21, in Atlanta at Centennial Olympic Park at high noon," Herman Cain, an Atlanta radio talk-show host, former CEO of Godfather's Pizza and 2004 Senate seeker, told WND. "We're expecting more than 5,000 people to be there at the announcement rally."

An invitation on his presidential exploratory committee website notes that Cain will share "his final decision about a potential run for the White House in 2012." His announcement will be broadcast live on his website.

Hinting at a launch of a 2012 campaign, Cain said, "People are starting to see through the broken promises, the failed policies and lack of leadership of President Obama.

"Americans will do a double take when they hear me talk about my common-sense solutions – they are going to say what thousands of people have said over the past several months: He makes sense. He makes it clear. He gives solutions, and he's not afraid to lead. That's what people want to see."

Will Obama meet his match?

In an exclusive July 2010 interview, Cain, a devout Christian, disclosed to WND that he has been "prayerfully considering" a bid for the GOP nomination. He also said he would "take the race card off the table" in a challenge against Obama as the GOP presidential candidate in 2012.

"We need a realistic candidate to run on the Republican ticket who can beat Barack Obama – not just beat the Democrats," Cain said. "We've also got to beat Barack Obama."

He added, "Obama is a master of rhetoric. He is a master of deceptive language. And any white candidate who runs against him will be up against the race card. I take the race card off the table."

As WND reported, Cain recently wowed a focus group of 29 likely GOP voters assembled by pollster Frank Luntz following a May 5 Republican presidential debate in South Carolina.

Even Luntz said the reaction of the group was unprecedented in its unanimity – Cain won. Most of those participating in the focus group had no previous familiarity with Cain. Only one of those bowled over by Cain watched the debate with intention of voting for him.

The following is a video of the focus group's reaction to the debate:

Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich and Michele Bachmann skipped the debate. The event included former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, Ron Paul, Rick Santorum and former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson in addition to Cain.

After talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh watched the South Carolina debate, he declared to his listeners, "Herman Cain made me think I was listening to me in every answer."

"The debate was absolutely a catalyst," Cain told WND. "Our online volunteers and online contributions increased significantly. The media requests have also increased significantly. A lot of people already knew who I was, especially when they read my articles, but after they saw me live on that Fox News debate, things have been going up exponentially ever since."

Cain blew the competition away once again, receiving 28 percent of more than 2,300 votes, in a recent WND poll that asked, "Who's your choice for Republican presidential nominee in 2012?" Ron Paul came in second, garnering 13 percent, while Sarah Palin, Allen West and Michele Bachmann each received 7 percent of the votes. Donald Trump, Chris Christie and Newt Gingrich each received 4 percent or less.

Herman Cain: Obama's scrubbing Christian heritage 'intentional'

U.S. Rep. J. Randy Forbes of Virginia, one of 42 bipartisan members of the Congressional Prayer Caucus, explained the importance of the distinction:

"These omissions and inaccuracies are a part of a larger pattern we are seeing with the president where he is inaccurately reflecting America and undercutting important parts of our nation's history," said Forbes. "Trust in God is embedded in the fabric of society and history in the United States.

"If we allow these threads to be pulled, we will begin to unravel the very freedoms that birthed America," he said.

Forbes added, "President Reagan once warned that 'If we ever forget that we're one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under.'"

Here is a story from WorldNetDaily.com last Friday night that I've been wanting to include on this blog for a few days, and as always, time limited me from getting it posted. Though the story is about Herman Cain's interview with David Brody of CBN news, the subject of the interview is the deeper story. Herman Cain, the possible candidate for President if he gets the GOP nomination next year, makes the point that he believes President Obama is intentionally not making reference to America's Judeo-Christian heritage. Herman doesn't believe it could be unintentional, because it is something that has been repeatedly done, and that is WITH the use of teleprompters.

I believe that this story is extremely important for one good reason. Should the election in 2012 be between Obama and Cain, it will be much easier for most people to be able to differentiate between the two candidates. And I agree with Herman Cain, in what he had told David Brody of CBN:
"People are basically rejecting that sort of attack on our culture," Cain said, "because most of the people I talk to, the majority of the people – not the mainstream media – they do not want God to be taken out of our culture."

HERMAN CAIN
Businessman Herman Cain, a possible Republican presidential candidate in 2012, has criticized Barack Obama for disregarding America's Christian heritage, stating he believes the president's repeated omission of the phrase "endowed by their Creator" is "intentional."

"I have been able to get the pulse of the American people of not only what's in their head but what's in their heart," Cain told CBN News Correspondent David Brody in an interview. "What's in their heart is they love this country. They love the values upon which this country was founded, and they don't like it when the president omits 'endowed by their Creator' from reciting the Declaration of Independence."

Brody asked Cain, "Do you believe that was intentional by the president?"

"I believe it was intentional because he did it three times, two of which I know about, and a friend of mine actually knows of a third one," Cain answered. "With all of his teleprompters, how could you not put that in there? No. I believe it was intentional."

As WND has reported, Obama has an established record of omitting references to the Divine: prompting a letter from the Congressional Prayer Caucus for incorrectly replacing the nation's motto of "In God We Trust" with "E pluribus unum" in a speech at the University of Indonesia, omitting the phrase "endowed by their Creator" from documents submitted to the United Nations, drawing criticism for omitting the same phrase three times in a little over a month and, by WND columnist Chuck Norris' count, dropping "their Creator" a total of seven times in a two-month span last year.

Cain, a radio talk host, WND columnist and former CEO of Godfather's Pizza, is one of only a few GOP potential candidates to announce formation of an exploratory committee to seek possible nomination for president in 2012.

In his criticism of the sitting president, Cain recalled Obama stating, "Whatever we once were, we're no longer a Christian nation," a phrase Obama used repeatedly, both before and after his election.

"Here's another example: When [Obama] first became president and he went to Turkey to give a speech and declared that we were not a Christian nation," Cain told Brody. "Well I got news for the president. We are a Judeo-Christian nation, and a lot of people want to keep it that way."
