Tucker: The new nation of CHAZ is a lesson for us all ~ Fox News Videos

I know that many of you out there are scratching your heads, wondering how such a thing could have been ALLOWED to happen. As am I.  While we see the humor in it all, as Tucker does in the two videos, we should also understand the threat, and like a virus from Wuhan, we must contain it. Obviously, the State of Washington and the City of Seattle have no plans to bring the new country of CHAZ to an end.

There's a problem here.  A big problem:  Are the politicians just spineless, or is this part of their plan?  How much should the President do to resolve this situation?  If no action is taken, as you will learn in the third video here, there is the likelihood of it metastasizing.  And actually, there are already signs of that happening.

Yes, the Nation of CHAZ experiment should be something to watch.  It may actually help the Conservative cause, as it will show the failure of communal systems, along with anarchy, and sure, why don't we defund the police?   It's a good teaching moment.

Hopefully, somebody will have a spine, and pull the plug on this vastly unsuccessful experiment.  Maybe the answer is to just cut off all of their utilities, as in electricity, water, internet, and cell phone service... The goofy world of CHAZ needs to return to reality before anyone is hurt.

Enjoy the videos!

Media ignore violence from the left ~ By Tom Tancredo

Tom wrote about the media's unbalanced reporting of both the violent rioting in regard to the May Day demonstrations and the attempted car bombing in Times Square. However, it isn't just the media that is unbalanced that is distressing. It is also the way people like Michael Bloomberg describe the possible perpetrators even before the investigation takes place, and put the blame on "right-wing extremists." And as we saw the other day, Eric Holder refused to call the terrorist attackers as "Islamic jihadists." It is an attitude that is pervasive with both the establishment press and left-wing politicians.
Examples abound of how the mainstream media intentionally ignore and downplay the dangers from America's real enemies, the Islamic jihadists and Reconquista radicals, while painting conservatives as extremists. Fortunately, most Americans are not duped by this biased news coverage and continue to demand secure borders and strong measures against Islamic terrorists.

Judging by the reports on MSNBC and in the New York Times, the May Day rallies for amnesty looked like Fourth of July picnics. The anti-American and anti-law enforcement violence common in those protests was ignored.

Since 2006, when the pro-amnesty demonstrations were filled with Mexican flags and signs advocating "Reconquista," organizers of these "immigrant rights" protests began to hand out American flags for the cameras. But there were plenty of Mexican flags this time around.

In addition to ignoring the Mexican flags and anti-American placards this May Day, the national media also ignored multiple instances of violence by open-borders advocates.

In San Francisco, three anti-amnesty counter-protesters were sent to the hospital by violent left-wing extremists. The San Francisco ABC affiliate reported:
Three people were attacked and at least two others were arrested. The people assaulted were part of the Minutemen demonstration, a group in favor of Arizona's new immigration law. … "They said we were racists, and we were against them, and against their town, and against San Francisco," said Parker Wilson with the Bay Area National Anarchists.
The attackers used brass knuckles and mace, giving one of the anti-amnesty protesters a concussion. A police officer witnessed the entire incident, and the leftists were charged with felonious assault.

Outside of the local ABC report and a few stories in a minor San Francisco weekly, no national news outlet or even the major local newspapers bothered to report on this violent politically based hate crime.

In another May Day incident, 250 unruly leftists in Santa Cruz started an all-out riot. Writes the Silicon Valley Mercury News:
Downtown business owners spent Sunday repairing shattered windows and doors after a May Day rally Saturday night turned into a riot with approximately 250 people marching along Pacific Avenue, some carrying makeshift torches, throwing large rocks and paint bombs, and spray-painting walls with graffiti.
Investigators believe it caused $100,000 worth of damage. This story got a bit more attention, with the Associated Press writing a small story that a number of newspapers tucked away in their back pages. No national press has followed up, even as Santa Cruz launches a probe into the riots and has asked the FBI for assistance.

In contrast to these violent left-wing mobs, not one tea-party demonstration has resulted in violence. You can be sure that if they did, left-wing politicians and the national news would be denouncing it for weeks on end.

Absent any real violence, the media simply try to make up accounts of right-wing misbehavior.

When Rep. Jim Clyburn and John Lewis claimed that they had been spit on and called racial slurs, literally thousands of stories about the supposed incident dominated the headlines and cable news for over a week. This alleged incident occurred as Clyburn and Lewis were walking in to vote on the health-care bill, with dozens of videotapes and policemen tracking their every step. Not one video captured any spitting or slurs, nor did any police officer observe them.

Media bias was also clear when a terrorist failed to detonate a car bomb in Times Square. In the first hours of the event, the media and left-wing commentators set their sites on conservatives.

On MSNBC, Chris Matthews said that the suspects likely harbored a "right-wing agenda."

Will America be the next Greece? ~ By Star Parker

I have no doubt that Star Parker and I were riding on the same thought-wave yesterday. I just put up a video on youtube Saturday that you should see before reading her outstanding column.

RELATED VIDEO:

May 08, 2010 - "Greece Fires" Can Spread Globally

In this video you will see what happens when economies collapse. There are just a few of us out here, such as Star Parker, that think America is headed in the same direction as Greece. And it could take just one demonstration that turns violent, even if it's an anarchist group doing the rioting, there could be a nationwide crackdown (assault) on 1st and 2nd Amendment rights. We don't want to go there. The problem is, the "fire extinguisher" is set on knocking down the fuel of the fire - what we still call liberty.

So here we are at the crossroads today.

Are we going to be Greece, or will we wake up to the inconvenient truth called reality?

Look at what is going on in Greece and you'll understand what is driving the grass-roots uprising taking place across our country.

It's perfectly clear that big-government, welfare-state policies drove Greece into bankruptcy and that the path on which our own Democrat-controlled government has put our nation mirrors where Greece and other European welfare states have gone.

As much as those on the left want to portray tea partiers as right-wing nut cases, or as racists, truth is these are rational, clear-thinking Americans who see our beloved nation being wrecked. They are serving as an early warning system that the things Americans hold most dear are in danger.

Government spending accounts for 50 percent of Greece's national output, and taxes take 40 percent of it. Debt exceeds 100 percent of GDP. One-third of everyone employed in Greece works for the government.

Now they can't pay the interest on their massive debt – and violence has hit the streets as Greeks discover that on the other end of what they thought were entitlements are empty government promises.

Just a few years ago, American debt was about 35 percent of our GDP. Now it's double that, and projections show it approaching 100 percent in just a few years.

President Obama's budget calls for $3.83 trillion in spending in 2011. Ten years ago the federal budget was $1.86 trillion.

A year and half ago our newly elected president sold the American public the idea that an almost trillion-dollar stimulus was needed to keep unemployment from going over 8 percent. Today unemployment hovers at slightly below 10 percent.

There's a debate going on about whether it's accurate to call our president a socialist.

Here's what I say.

Socialism has three key characteristics, all of which I believe he buys into.

First, socialism disdains private property as sacred. Any doubt where our president stands on this? As former Council of Economic Advisors head Greg Mankiw notes regarding the health-care bill, the prime motive was not "health per se but … redistribution of income."

Recent data from the Tax Foundation make this clear. Families in the upper 1 percent of income will pay an average of $52,000 more in taxes, and families in the bottom 50 percent will get an average of $1,000 in benefits.

Second, socialism puts faith in government social engineering. Just think government health care, government takeovers of banks and car companies, and cap-and-trade.

And third, socialism is godless, secular religion. It sees human redemption in government planning. I'll get nasty letters by saying our president also signs on to this. But consider the facts. He endorses abortion, including partial-birth abortion, and the legitimacy of sexual behavior that traditional religion abhors. He believe in the redemptive possibilities of government planning, and, going beyond tolerating all religions, he presents them all as equally legitimate.

Tea parties targeted for disruption by anarchists?

After reading this story, I discovered a major flaw. I believe that you will also find that there is no way that the anonymous blog poster could be an anarchist. Truth be told, the anonymous blogger would have to be an extreme leftist, which is on the exact opposite side of the political spectrum from anarchists. The blogger was labeled as an anarchist only because the blog where the note was posted is a on site for anarchists, called "Infoshop News." In other words, the entire substance of this story - based on the title - just went South. If anyone will try to disrupt the Tea Parties, it will be the enemy of the Tea Party Movement, the Progressives and Socialists on the Left side of the political spectrum.
The note accuses tea party activists of malicious intent.

"The tea-party movement will say these programs must be gotten rid of because hard-working taxpayers cannot afford to pay for these things especially when the economy is in a depression," the author claims.

Under no circumstances should opponents ignore the tea parties, the note warns.

"This is the worst option because without anyone opposing them they could easily gain power," the author wrote.
Blog posting making the rounds on Internet suggests trouble brewing

It's a note by an anonymous blogger, but it's making the rounds on the Internet because it urges citizens to disrupt April 15 tea-party rallies from the inside.

"Organize counter-protests against the tea party demonstrations, same time, same place," the message states. "This is probably the best option. We need to get in the streets on April 15th and show the tea-party movement that there are lots of people out there who oppose their agenda."

The tea parties are a general assortment of people with issues ranging from opposition to high taxes to concern over massive government expansion through President Obama's socialist-type health care program and industry bailouts. If there's a common factor, it's opposition to Washington's agenda and a promotion of individual rights and responsibilities.

The note posted on an anarchist blog urges the nation's anarchists to carry out demonstrations to break up tea-party rallies.

The writer calls the tea parties "a coalition of conservatives, anti-Semites, fascists, libertarians, racists, constitutionalists, militia men, gun freaks, homophobes, Ron Paul supporters, Alex Jones conspiracy types and American flag wavers." (Emphasis my own)

The message warns of consequences if the tea party movement is not derailed.

"If the tea-party movement continues to grow in size and strength there is a big chance they will dominate this country in the near future. If the tea-party movement takes over this country they will really hurt poor people by getting rid of social programs like food stamps, unemployment benefits, disability benefits, student aid, free health care, etc," the note said. (Emphasis my own)

The political spectrum 101 ~ By Joseph Farah

Commentary from WorldNetDaily
One of the reasons America is moving toward fascism today is because it has lost its constitutional moorings. We're supposed to believe in limited government in the United States. The federal powers are enumerated in the Constitution. But, in recent years, Washington has far exceeded its authority. And very few politicians – Democrats or Republicans – seem to give a darn.

So, maybe you ask, who's in the middle of the political spectrum?

The Founding Fathers were.

There's much confusion about the meaning of left and right in America today.

The confusion is, ironically, on both the left and the right.

I witnessed this most recently in commentaries and news reports about the riots at the Vancouver Olympics.

Those participating in the riots most frequently describe themselves as "anarchists."

So let's start with proponents of "anarchy." Where do they fall on the left-right political spectrum?

As proponents of no government, they would fall on the extreme right.

A true anarchist would be as far to the right as you can get on the political spectrum. Just to the left of anarchists would be libertarians, who acknowledge there is a role for government but want it strictly limited. Those we call "conservatives" might be just to the left of the libertarians.

Over on the other side of the political spectrum, the left side, would be those who want government to have totalitarian control. These would be hard-core Stalinists and communists.

Just to the right of them, but still way over on the left side of the spectrum, would be fascists, those who are still totalitarians, but don't insist that government own all the means of production. Fascists are content to control the means of production.

Just to the right of these folks are those in our society who call for a "mixed economy" in line with the European model. You could also call it "soft socialism."

In other words, what truly defines the political spectrum is attitude toward the proper role of government.

How does this model differentiate from the general misconceptions we hear so frequently?

First of all, fascism is often portrayed as a "right-wing" ideology, when, in fact, it is far left. Fascism and communism are ideological kissing cousins. That's how close they are on the political spectrum and in their way of governance.

In fact, I would say that fascists are often mistakenly called communists. Take a look at China today and it is not by any stretch of the imagination communist. It is fascist. Even though most people who think of themselves as "left" would tell you they detest fascism, in practice, they often have not.

Mussolini was beloved by the left and practically defined fascism. Hitler was embraced by the Communist Soviet Union, until he betrayed Stalin's non-aggression pact. Hollywood Communists led the "peace movement" in the U.S. and fought involvement in the European war until Hitler betrayed Stalin. Then, overnight, they became war mongers.

Secondly, anarchists are often descried as left-wingers, when in fact they are on the extreme right of the political spectrum. Again, the political spectrum, if it is to make any sense at all, should be based on attitude toward government.

Because of these misconceptions, many Americans are missing the real political threat facing our country. It's not from communism, but it is from another form of socialism – fascism.
