Meteorologist predicts global cooling

From WorldNetDaily The CIA has been been involved in climate research before, as you will learn from this column by Jerome Corsi. Be sure to see the related video at the bottom of this post.
Fears of imminent ice age to replace warming alarm? Jerome Corsi By Jerome Corsi Posted: January 09, 2010 ~ 12:00 am Eastern © 2010 WorldNetDaily Fears of a new ice age not seen since the 1970s are arising in the aftermath of the "Climategate" scandal that has cast doubt on the legitimacy of scientific research forming the basis for the theory that mankind is causing an ultimately catastrophic rise in temperatures worldwide. Joe Bastardi, Accuweather meteorologistAccuweather meteorologist Joe Bastardi has produced a video suggesting the current frigid conditions in North America, Europe and Asia are very similar to the weather patterns in the 1970s that produced fears a new ice age was imminent. In the video, Bastardi explains his theory that "weather goes in a lot of cycles, and we're going to see a lot more of the cold trending here over the next 20 or 30 years." WND previously reported President Obama's science czar John Holdren was among the scientists who predicted 1 billion people would die in "carbon-dioxide induced" famines in a coming new ice age by 2020. In the 1970s, Holdren's theme was that government-mandated population control was essential to prevent "eco-disasters" such as the forecast ice age. Today, Holdren urges immediate passage of the Obama administration's cap-and-trade legislation to control carbon emissions before it is too late to save the planet from "global warming." Exactly. Keep energy costs low, allow humans to adapt, mostly by searching for cheaper energy sources. Allow our ingenuity to find solutions, as we always have, and as we have gotten better at over the last 200 years. Quit taking away the incentive that Free Enterprise offers us. We will adapt. We always have.

Climate czar has it down cold ~ By Joseph Farah

You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. – Obi Won Kenobi, "Star Wars"
No, Obi Won wasn't talking about the watering hole of the White House czars. He was describing the fictional Mos Eisley spaceport. He advised caution. And so do I – when it comes to the White House czars. As Henny Youngman might say: "Take John Holdren, the climate czar, please." Today he tells us the planet is heating up to the boiling point because of catastrophic levels of man-made carbon dioxide. But 40 years ago, he was proclaiming the dawn of a new ice age – with many of the same government prescriptions in mind. In the 1970s, Holdren said government would have to stop population growth to keep the planet habitable for those lucky enough to live through his plans. Fortunately, people were smarter in the 1970s. They didn't buy it. They kept having babies. They eventually elected Ronald Reagan when they got tired of Cassandra-like warnings about an imminent apocalypse caused by American capitalism and Christianity. Holdren's rhetoric 40 years ago about an impending ice age was just as dire as his more recent prognostications about global warming. In "Global Ecology," which he co-edited with Paul Ehrlich, he predicted the "destruction of all life on this planet" as one of the possible consequences of the cooling he foresaw. Holdren: Seize babies born to unwed women

From WorldNetDaily
Proposed government force adoption if mother refused to get abortion Posted: September 30, 2009 ~ 1:00 am Eastern By Jerome R. Corsi © 2009 WorldNetDaily Science Czar John HoldrenObama science czar John Holdren stated in a college textbook that "illegitimate children" born to unwed mothers could be taken by the government and put up for adoption if the mother refused to have an abortion. Holdren, director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, argued that "illegitimate childbearing could be strongly discouraged" as a socioeconomic measure imposed to control population growth. As previously reported, WND has obtained a copy of the 1970s college textbook "Ecoscience: Population, Resources, Environment" that Holdren co-authored with Malthusian population alarmist Paul R. Ehrlich and Ehrlich's wife, Anne. The authors argued involuntary birth-control measures, including forced sterilization, may be necessary and morally acceptable under extreme conditions, such as widespread famine brought about by "climate change." On page 786, the authors wrote that one way to discourage illegitimate childbearing "might be to insist that all illegitimate babies be put up for adoption – especially those born to minors who generally are not capable of caring properly for a child alone." Alternatively, the authors suggested unwed mothers might place their babies up for adoption, writing: "If a single mother really wished to keep her baby, she might be obliged to go through adoption proceedings and demonstrate her ability to support and care for it." While observing that government-imposed coercive measures should be considered "only if milder measures fail completely," the authors acknowledged extreme ecological situations could justify governmental intervention with coercive population control measures, "It would even be possible to require pregnant single women to marry or have abortions, perhaps as an alternative to placement for adoption, depending on the society," they write. Holdren: Sterilize welfare recipients

From WorldNetDaily
Obama boss suggested ways to save planet, said fetus not a person Posted: September 23, 2009 ~ 7:56 pm Eastern By Jerome R. Corsi © 2009 WorldNetDaily Obama science czar John HoldrenObama science czar John Holdren stated in a college textbook that compulsory, government-mandated "green abortions" would be a constitutionally acceptable way to control population growth and prevent ecological disasters, including global warming, because a fetus was most likely not a "person" under the terms of the 14th Amendment. Holdren further suggested government-mandated population control measures might be inflicted in the United States against welfare recipients, writing on page 840: "There has been considerable talk in some quarters at times of forcibly suppressing reproduction among welfare recipients (perhaps by requiring the use of contraceptives or even by involuntary sterilizations). This may sadly foreshadow what our society might do if the human predicament gets out of hand." (Parenthesis in original text.) As previously reported, WND has obtained a copy of the 1970s college textbook "Ecoscience: Population, Resources, Environment" that Holdren co-authored with Malthusian population alarmist Paul R. Ehrlich and Ehrlich's wife, Ann. The authors argued involuntary birth-control measures, including forced sterilization, may be necessary and morally acceptable under extreme conditions, such as widespread famine brought about by "climate change." Writing on page 839 of the textbook, the authors state: "The common law and drafters of the U.S. Constitution did not consider a fetus a human being. Feticide was not murder in common law because the fetus was not considered to be a human being, and for purposes of the Constitution a fetus is probably not a 'person' within the meaning of the Fourteenth Amendment. Thus under the constitution, abortion is apparently not unlawful, although infanticide obviously is." [CLICK HERE TO READ MORE]
